Five Star Reviews: | 58% Five Stars September 20, 2017 use this small charger panel to keep my jeep battery ready to go . works well Will buy more! September 12, 2017 Purchased as booster for tractor. Mounted quickly on shed - had no start problems since! Five Stars August 30, 2017 hope it can maintain my generator battery so when I need it, it will be ready! Five Stars March 21, 2017 great for leaving on my dump trailer, i never have to charge or worry about a dean battery! Works flawlessly June 4, 2015 First off my battery was charged a few weeks prior to installing this panel, at the time of instillation the battery read 12.23V. So I ran a week long test prior to writing this review. I'm using it to maintain the battery on my riding mower. I read all the reviews and decided to proceed with this solar panel instead of a larger one. Lets begin with the alligator clips, they are junk! The negative clip was broken upon opening, and the positive clip fell apart after a day. But, since I planned on cutting them off anyway, it did not affect my review. I'm only posting this part since some of you will be using the alligator clips as the sole means of attachment. I temporarily mounted the panel to the hood of my riding mower, so disregard the zip ties. I hooked the panel up on a sunny day and mowed the 3/4 acre lawn, not massive, but not a 10 minute job either. Upon completing the mowing the battery was at 12.67V. So I parked the mower next to the deck instead of the garage hoping my days of hooking the mower to the trickle charger in the garage were gone. over the next week, we had one day of scattered clouds followed by five days of thunderstorms and overcast, not a single bit of direct sunlight during those five days. At the end of the week, the battery read 12.73V. I know some of you are thinking, half a volt is nothing. But what this proves is the fact that in one afternoon, under use the battery did not loose any power as usual. In fact it charged from 12.23-12.67. Over the next six days the charger was running at less than 25% normal sunlight and the battery still charged from 12.67-12.73. I have not disconnected the charger, since I crimped on terminal end loops and hard mounted it to my battery. This also goes to prove that there is no drainage during night or bad weather, it also proves the waterproof claim.I will post an update on the 14.4V cutoff claim once/if the battery reaches that point. I am completely satisfied with this solar panel and can now leave my riding mower outside and clean up some space in the garage. To some of you this may be a sin, but my mower has been outside for years and still holds up, I keep the rust off and maintain it regularly, just need more space in the garage.UPDATE: 11 months later this thing still keeps the charged battery from draining. It sat all winter and the mower fired right up this spring, over the past 8 winters I have had to charge the battery and continue charging it once or twice a season. Still cannot comment on the 14.4V shutoff, as the Battery maintains around 12.85V-13V. The plastic is holding up well, I would recommend adding some flowable silicone to keep moisture out. I used RTV and it discolored the plastic where I applied it on the bottom edges. 12 volt waterproof solar battery charger August 27, 2014 I love it!!!! exactly what I was looking for................remember.............this is a solar, trinkle charger...............not a quick 10 amp charger................I am very happy with my purchase. | 77% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 18% As most others have said - I think this is ... June 12, 2016 As most others have said - I think this is a decent unit for the money, and works well for it's intended usage.I have this hooked to my Jon Boat 12v deep cycle battery. I keep the boat outside during the summer months, leaving the battery in at this time, as thus far it has maintained a steady 12 volts. I don't fish every day, so it has plenty of time in between trips to get the charge back to where in needs to be. Great for that slow trickle charge to keep the battery ... February 20, 2016 Exactly what I was looking for. I have a tractor that always seems to have a dead battery when I want to use it. I finally bought this panel and mounted it to the body. It has been months since I last fired up the tractor, and yet when I just grabbed the key on a whim, it starts right up. Great for that slow trickle charge to keep the battery topped off. | 14% There are no reviews yet |

September 18, 2017 used on my garden fence battery this summer, seemed to help but it didn't keep battery at full charge. could have been battery.... Poor mounting design, cant complain about performance yet. August 28, 2017 Poor mounting design. The tiny screws must self thread into the plastic - over 100lbs. of force on 4 milimeter screw. It works lime it is supposed to but not too ... January 23, 2017 It works lime it is supposed to but not too sure it is waterproof. There is moisture in it we will see if it lasts Trickle charge to your battery August 29, 2016 This is a trickle charge so don't get too excited,,,, it takes a longtime to charge up a 12v battery | 3% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 4% The bracket is SO WEAK! I can only relate ... June 24, 2016 The bracket is SO WEAK! I can only relate the mounting bracket as toothpick strength. I will test the panel in the field, but already looking for a replacement bracket. milli amperage is too low January 25, 2016 Seems to be too weak for my purposes.... its putting out 20 volts but the amperage is so low it will not make up the 0.20 volts I'm loosing over night in my application. Two Stars July 10, 2015 Don't like the clips it came with they already broke one battery didn't maintain charge | 2% There are no reviews yet |

Will have to check on the guarantee. Just checked and there is NO warranty! does not work at all. i would have sent ... July 20, 2016 does not work at all. i would have sent it back but i have taken the aligator clips that were on it ( what a joke thoes were) and replaced them with round terminal connectors to fit my battery. after a day of no improvement on my battery i hooked them to the meter to find that even in 90 degree direct sunlight ti wasnt pushing any energy through itself over any given period of time. Poor Quality April 21, 2016 I was trying to solve the problem of a lawn mower battery always going dead even after replacing the battery several times. I wanted my husband to keep the lawn mower in the shed and not in the garage which takes the place of my vehicle. He needed the outlet in the garage to charge the mower with the electric battery charger. When I saw this, I was thrilled! Maybe he wouldn't need to hog up the garage anymore! Not so! He used it for about half of the summer and then the little clips started to break. They don't clasp on anymore. They are tiny and brittle. What a bummer! I dislike products that are so cheaply made that they don't last very long. Do not purchase this item. | 4% There are no reviews yet |
