Good Holster for the price. Value. Performs.
December 24, 2016
It will hold the gun with retention as long as a light is mounted to the gun, therefore it can be used with the thumb break open. The adjustments are a bit strange for the thumb break. Normally the snap would be positioned on the side of the gun, but for this it should be directly over the hammer, because the Velcro is the primary thumb break, you'll sweep the Velcro all the way down then sweep your thumb back to pop the snap it's quick and the draw is quick as long as the thumb break is positioned properly and tight. I thought yeah.. a double snap would be quicker, pop pop would be better break but I believe they designed the retention this way to make securing it quicker for momentary holstering, but that's debatable, all depends on the reflexes and dexterity of the operator. The secondary break takes most if not all of the tension so another snap instead of Velcro would be better but it performs as should the way it is.
excellent

Works pretty good. The adjustments you can make are extensive, yet simple. It can made to fit almost any med to large handgun. Only takes about 2 min to get it right. Getting it to fit your leg will take much longer. You will also need a belt if you plan on putting a real gun in it and having it stay put. I've read a few reviews saying it works even without a gun, but I can't see how. I used my lightest gun (FN 5.7) and couldn't walk 5 steps before it started falling. If you use it with a belt, it's great. No complaints here.
Check the others and then buy this one

I purchased this for the wife, and looked closely at other models before deciding on this one. This holster has a very user friendly adjustment system consisting primarily of hook-loop straps. It can be adjusted to fit a number of frames, although I can only guarantee excellent fit for Sig Sauer pistols. One thing to note, other holsters have clips which retain the weapon. As a former law enforcement professional, this seems like a quick way to get into trouble. A simple thumb break like this holster has provides excellent retention, while still permitting quick access in time of need.
great 5 star product
October 29, 2014
I give the product 5 stars. It is adjustable so it fits my full size XD9 with a TLR-4 laserlight combo... and holds one additional mag to boot. My two areas of concern:a.) The straps around your leg have clips that are a bit fussy. Sometimes they unlatch if your quads have to flex hard.b.) The weight of a sidearm on a pant belt will drag your pants down, even if you have a big enough butt to stop it. Not sure if it's the product or leg holsters in general. If you can attach this to a belt on a vest or something instead, you'd be well served. For the price, though, great 5 star product. Serviceable and does what I need it to do.
I was surprised
September 21, 2013
I expected this to be a cheap low quality holster but after close inspection have to admit it is a quality product. Heavy stitching at stress points, Velcro every where allows adjustment to fit darn near anything. It fit my XDM 5.25" with a stream light TLR 1 like it was designed for just this weapon. Allows for fast and easy draw with a functional thumb operated retaining snap. Had to fold the retaining snap cover back under another flap. Don't know why you would want a Velcro cover on a retaining strap? Leg straps adjust to fit me as I am 6'4" and close to 300lbs they do not move around thanks to the rubber cords inset on the straps. Comes with NO instructions so accept that you will have to experiment to get the fit right for your weapon.
Great Holster for my Real Pistol! Who says UTG is just for Airsoft?
January 31, 2012
This UTG Holster exceeded my expectations. UTG has a reputation of being just for airsoft guns. This holster breaks out of that stigma and more! I was considering spending more money on a Blackhawk or Condor holster, but based on the reviews and price of this UTG holster, I couldn't' resist giving it a try. Let me tell you, I'm glad I saved the money because although this holster is lower in price, there is very little sacrifice (if any) in overall quality! I barely just opened and adjusted the holster to size today (took less than 10 minutes), so I can't really comment on the longevity in terms of durability. But from the way the materials are (thick nylon and reinforced stitching) and the straps, Velcro, and buckles, I would say that this holster feels adequately strong and robust. I would feel confident to use this on any day.Anyway, this fits my Beretta PX4 (.40 cal) just fine. Due to the design of this holster, I was able to adjust the size to fit my pistol with my Insight MX6 laser/light combo attached on the rail. The magazine compartment seemed to be tight upon initial inspection, but I was able to squeeze one of my spare mags in (pretty snug) without problems.I did readjust the thumb break snap straps (what ever they're called) that holds your pistol securely in the holster. Out of the package, IMO they are set incorrectly (probably correctly if you were a lefty and this was a left handed holster). I want to be able to disengage the thumb snaps in one fluid motion towards the right in order to quick draw. In order to achieve this, I had to reverse the way they were initially installed. I had to totally remove both straps by slipping my pocket knife (with care not to damage anything) between the Velcro in order for me to pull them out and insert them on opposite sides. After a little tweaking in the sizing, they are perfect now! I also like that there's an option to put a Velcro strap over the snaps to provide even more securing of your pistol. However, this feature would only get in the way if you want to "quick draw." But if you're in an environment where quick drawing isn't necessary, I like having that extra piece of security on the straps (i.e. great if you have to run with your holster on). From the default picture of this product, I really thought the gray stripes were just for looks, but they are actually rubberized to the touch. This is a great surprise to me because they actually serve a function! They help give the straps some friction to help grab on to your leg/clothing and reduce your pistol from swinging around. Great touch! In terms of the fit, well it's fully adjustable and universal, so it would fit most people. I'm 5'9" 160lbs and it fits just great. After adjusting the leg straps, I had a lot of left over slack dangling around. I didn't want to cut these off in case I wanted to let a friend use this holster. I found an easy solution... I basically used some Velcro straps I had laying around. These are the type used for wire management that I bought here on Amazon. I highly recommend these, not only for the holster, but in general. Check out the picture I posted in the "customer images" of how I used them.Lastly, the holster is lined with a felt like material. This is nothing new and most quality tactical nylon holsters have a lining to protect the finish on your gun. I'm just happy that this is built in... standardized or not.For the money, you can't go wrong with this holster. It's versatile and very functional. It seems built to last and I'm overall happy with my purchase. Check out the pictures I posted in the "customer images" for further details.

A universal holster
March 20, 2017
Can't go wrong with this! Able to fit full and compact sized pistiols with or without a light/laser. Can't really say anything bad about it. Fits nice and snug, Retention is customized to your specs. Love it's a single point leg rig too. The multicam matches my other gear too. Definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a simple and rugged rig.
Great buy.

Easy adjustments. High quality. Would be great for full size handguns, okay for mid size, and useless for compact. Leg strap has some access, but doesn't have a negative effect.

May 4, 2016
It's completely customizable to your individual side arm. If you are "tacticool" and have a laser attached to your pistol because you don't know how to align the front sight with the rear, it will fit in the holster. If your job has you chasing villains at night through undeground tunnels or heavily wooded forest, your flashlight will fit as long as it's not a 6 cell Maglight. As far as the retention of the weapon goes, unless you are man bat, bat man bat or spiderman (who tends to hang upside down for kisses); it will stay in place. Olympic hurtlers might also have a problem with retention as well. All in all, it's inexpensive, customizable (if you aren't stupid),it does the job and.... it's inexpensive.
Finally, a holster that fits my pistol and light!
January 4, 2016
After spending the better part of two months looking for a holster that would hold my pistol with a tactical light and wasn't expensive, I found this! Thank god I found it, because I was about to give up.My pistol:The pistol I'm using for this holster is a Sig Sauer P320 9mm Compact, with medium grips. The light is a Streamlight TLR-2s.Holster:I'm not going to be wearing it around town, just target shooting, camping, and hiking. After 15min to "fit" my pistol and adjust the straps around my leg, it's pretty comfortable. You can make the holster fit almost ANY pistol! It's made up of Velcro, heavy duty nylon, and padding, so making it fit your pistol shouldn't be an issue. If you're wanting to use this while hunting, I'd caution against it. It does make a slight amount of noise while wearing it. It's long enough to cover the barrel and the light, but only barely makes it by 1/2in. The mag pouch is nice for being able to carry an extra mag without having something else on your hip.Now for my only personal quirk about the holster:There are ALOT of "arms" of the holster that come together to make the holster work! It's not a dealer breaker, because my pistol fits in it. But it could get a little cumbersome for a few when adjusting it.I love this holster! I finally found something that would fit my Sig P320, and didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I would DEFINITELY recommend this holster for anyone that's looking for a tactical holster and has multiple pistols they'd like to be able to carry.
Excellent tactical holster.
August 21, 2015
This holster worked extremely well for all medium and large frame weapons. Easy to adjust, even the thumb release, surprised me. I like this product so well I purchased a second one. Works good for revolvers or automatics. Priced was great too, some people may not like the way the thumb release works but after a few seconds of adjustment it was perfect fit for my glock 19. Nice job condor
This Holster Is The Last One You Will Ever Need
September 23, 2013
This is the only review you will ever need to read. This is an AWESOME holster. Fit my weapon like a glove right out of the box. It has so many adjustments available it will work for just about anyone! When I put my compact in it, I did adjust the strap that secures it just a little for a tighter hold on it so that I do not even need to use the snap on the strap. This thing has so many Velcro surfaces it's amazing. I can secure the pistol with just the Velcro portion on the hold strap not using the snap and turn it upside down and shake the stuffing out of it and it will not drop the weapon. This lets me deploy the weapon faster. I am 6'1" and there is plenty adjustment in the vertical strap to "drop" the holster as far down as you need. I have a "long" A-TACS blouse and so I need this puppy to drop quite a bit down my leg and it can with the adjustments available. You can also bring it up high as well if needed. This thing is an awesome dream! The leg straps are easy to adjust but hold fast once adjusted. You will read many telling you the straps for the leg adjustments are too long. Nope, just adjust them and tuck the rest right up under the strap around your leg and you are good to go. You will never feel it there and we are not talking "feet" too long just a few inches. Adjust it, tuck it and get over it or cut it LOL... The girth inside the holster itself can be drawn right down tight to almost nothing for a smaller pistol like my compact and opened right up for a full size (anything any make 1911) leaving enough room for lights sights and lasers whatever??? No this holster won't scratch your pistol, sounds like someone does not keep his clean or ever wipe it down with an oil rag but the material WILL NOT damage your pretty gun. It holds whatever extra mag you have and even if it was like a 30 round mag add a strap yourself around the top of it and it will not interfere with anything. I got the multicam, great colors and clarity, good looking equipment. If Condor was standing right here offering 2 times my money back I'd tell them to take a hike you will not find anything else like this out there. I even looked at the Blackhawks and other "high priced" units and they have nothing over this unit at all. Save your money you won't find better and you will be so tickled with this thing you will want to wear it 24/7. Comfortable, functional, totally and completely adjustable to whatever??? "Secures" your pistol, allows for fast deployment if you don't use the snap (really you don't need it, learn how that security strap goes together) but if you want the warm fuzzy use the snap on that strap. It won't be in your way either if you don't use it you won't even know it's there. I'd buy 10 of these if I needed that many and when I'm done all my friends will own one too! BYW no, I do not work for or with Condor in any way. I'm an engineer/tactical specialist who appreciates good equipment, especially when my life may depend on it!

The Best Universal Holster I've Tried So Far
December 10, 2016
This is the best "universal" holster I've tried so far. I have a Glock, a Ruger, and another handgun with an 8-inch barrel, and this holster can accommodate all three. It required some experimentation to be able to fit all three pistols. And the leg belts have to be worn low on the thigh as they aren't long enough to be worn higher. But as I said, this is the only holster I've found that can accommodate all three weapons. And this was very important to me when it comes to taking all three to the range and not having to change holsters for each pistol.
Construction is solid enough and you can't beat the price. Would buy again.
January 5, 2015
I've own a few drop leg holsters that are far more expensive than this (SERPA and Safariland), and I like this the most. Construction seems solid enough and although it doesn't equally distribute the weight like the SERPA does, it allows me to have an attached light other than Blackhawk's light. Over the years I have come to prefer the thumb break over the SERPA as it is better for weapon retention anyways. Will it hold up during a deployment to Afghanistan like my SERPA? Couldn't tell you as that life is behind me, but I would have no issue with this on my leg during an apocalypse/civil unrest/government collapse, zombies, etc. scenario.I currently have a Glock 22 with an Insight M3X in this holster without issue. After you set it up (10 mins), I don't see why it couldn't accommodate most if not all automatic pistols, sub-compact to full size.

January 2, 2015
Despite my large frame, this fits my leg. I can adjust it to fit my different weapons without a lot of hassle. I wish I could have gotten it in tan or sand, but it is comfortable, is adjustable so it sits exactly where I am most comfortable with it, and seems durable overall. I don't enjoy running around with it, but movement is not too hampered. Most importantly, I can draw my weapon somewhat cleanly, and holster it securely. (Better on the secure than the clean draw, but for the money, I really cannot complain.)Update> I wish I had not rated this as high. It is falling a part. Better be prepared to put it back together. I have sewn this thing 3 different times and it keeps coming apart in different areas. You get what you pay for...
Well made holster - used for full size pistol
January 2, 2014
Fits a Glock 19 right out of the box. The clips, straps and velcro are very strong, overall good build quality. The leg straps have rubber strips molded into the straps to add traction. It is adjustable in every which way, should fit any gun, except maybe sub compacts. What surprised me is that the leg straps, don't help support the weight of the gun, in fact they tend to slide down my leg and actually add an additional pull on the belt. So the belt needs to be substantial and on pretty tight to hold the weight of the gun and small tugs from the leg straps as you move about.Pros:Good constructionHolds gun well during active movementit takes two hands to remove pistol without releasing the snaps (if someone else is trying to take it)Cons:Lose access to pocketsBottom of holster is open, debris could enter into barrel
GREAT for me...with an asterisk for you.
April 15, 2013
Let me start by saying that my initial inclination was to rate this as a 5-star item, but there is a caveat to that, which I will get to in the course of my overall review, that caused me to settle on a 4-star rating.Having said that, I think the item itself is terrific. The holster is completely modular, with heavy-duty velcro strap adjustments for custom fitting to every dimension of the weapon. I myself am using this to holster a Gen-4 Glock 23 with a Crimson Trace Lightguard and Laser Grip installed, but it is readily apparent that the holster could accommodate a MUCH larger (or smaller) weapon, and still be completely usable. It took me about 15-20 minutes of subtle adjustments to the depth of holster, width, interior dimensions, length of the hang strap from my belt, and the two leg straps to get it to where it is a perfect fit...but that should be completely expected for an item specifically designed for universal appeal.I read all the other reviews on here before buying this item myself, and I was nervous regarding the leg straps, because there was a repeated criticism about how they barely fit. Well...I don't know if UTG has lengthened the straps over time in response to these complaints, or if the previous reviewers who had this issue were Sumo Wrestlers, or what...but I am 6'2" 270 lbs. I played Linebacker in college. I have always had thighs the size of tree-trunks, and now that I've gotten a little bit older, I've also gotten out of playing shape...so I am a big dude to begin with, and I've gotten a little bit fat as well, and the leg straps on this item fit me just fine after adjustment, with plenty (and when I say plenty, I mean there is still 6-8" of tail on the strap) of room remaining to make a larger leg opening, and additionally, the (female) end of the buckle attachment has an elastic component to ensure a snug and comfortable fit.So...unless you're in the neighborhood of 400+ lbs, I think you can put those concerns to rest.Another feature of the leg straps is that they have two rubberized seams running along the entire length (the grey bits shown in the default photograph). They serve a purpose...keeping the straps in place and stationary on the leg...which is important to me, as the reason I bought this item in the first place was to carry a firearm while backpacking in the wilderness. I myself would prefer them to be black, but that is a purely aesthetic issue which can likely be solved (if one cared enough to do it) with a Sharpie marker, and I have not downgraded my rating in any way because of it.Another repeat negative I read which concerned me was that the pocket for the spare magazine was too small to fit the 13-round clip for the Glock 23. Well...I have a Glock 23, and the pocket fits that spare magazine like a glove. I am not a significant gun enthusiast, so I don't know the size comparison from the magazine for my weapon to others out there, but if you are reading this, and you DO know how your spare magazine compares to mine, if it's bigger, it will be a tight squeeze, if it's the same or smaller, you'll have no issue whatsoever...and the flap that closes over the pouch (but not the pouch itself) is adjustable velcro as well, and able to be lengthened, so it would likely be able to fit an extended capacity magazine without much trouble. The reason that I decided to rank this a 4-star item is the snap / velcro closure buckle for the weapon holster itself. I played around with the orientation, length, method of closure (the straps have both a snap button and velcro tabs), etc for a good 10 minutes without finding a combination that was satisfactory.I want to be able to release the buckle and draw the weapon relatively quickly, and with only one hand.I am not trying to be Wyatt Earp or Doc Holliday...I just want to know that if faced with an aggressive grizzly bear at 30 yards, that I can get the weapon out before it is inside of 20 yards if (God forbid) I actually have to fire on an animal that does not respond to Counter Assault Bear spray. As it comes, out of the box, I could not find a combination that I deemed acceptable. When the snap button is in the correct alignment, the velcro tabs seem to always be in the way, and having both of the closure methods engaged seems cumbersome...like I will not be able to draw the weapon under duress without some trouble. I tried reversing the straps, I tried tucking back the velcro closure tab out of the way into another velcro component fold of the holster, I tried everything I thought might help, and I never did find the right combination. For me, personally, I have two other holsters (one belt, and one shoulder) that also have velcro components which I rarely use. After trying (unsuccessfully) to find the right method with the buckle provided with this item, I ended up taking the closure buckle strap off of one of those other holsters that I like much better, and simply attached it to this holster.Maybe if I didn't have those other items, and was forced to be more stubborn with the equipment provided with this one, I eventually would have found the perfect combination and then I could, without reservation, make this a 5-star item. I did not have the requisite patience for any more trial & error, and that one simple modification makes this a 100% perfectly-fitting tactical leg holster...for me...but not everyone is likely to have spare holsters laying around to strip for parts, and therefore I made this a 4-star rating so that perhaps those of you who (like me) read the reviews looking for negatives, and basically eschew the 5-star ratings altogether, would hopefully find this review and be all the wiser before making your purchase.Other than that one issue, which like I said does not affect me personally, this is a terrific product, sturdily-made, and VERY modular...just SOOOO adjustable to fit the needs and / or preferences of each individual gun owner. When you couple that with the fact that this holster is (currently) available for under $20 dollars?! No-brainer. Buy it. You won't regret it.If you've made it this far into the review, I hope it's been helpful and informative...I've uploaded five "customer images" to better show the features that are difficult to see in the stock photograph Amazon uses.
Hard to beat for the money
January 26, 2012
I'm an old, retired LEO who used to be a member of the department's SWAT team more than 20 years ago..., now I'm an old, fat, used-to-be who is getting his act together should some kind of disaster hit. I wanted something that could be worn safely, if the SHTF. Nothing concealed, but very secure if I needed to do a lot of moving and something that was accessible, but not necessarily a quick-draw holster. I wanted it for my Glock 21. That's the background of why I ordered this holster and simply put, this holster met all my needs! Yeah, there were a few adjustments to make and I think I'll end up duck taping some of the loose straps and buckles so they don't flap or make noise, but overall it is a quality built, heavy duty holster. Again, it is NOT a quick draw holster. I adjusted the snap and the overlaying Velcro strap that hold the handgun in place so that they lay over the grip/handle and not the slide. The process to remove the gun is two steps, unfasten the Velcro strap, then unsnap the second strap. Not horribly slow but not fast either. After I adjusted the straps holding the gun in place, I adjusted the leg straps and that was about it. Worth the price!

Flappy

Holds my 1911 securely. Very adjustable and you can have gigantic thighs with all the extra strapping on it, which is a problem if you don't. There's all this extra crap flapping between your legs that is not as pleasent as it sounds.
Almost perfect

Barely able to fit fnx45 with streamlight tlr-4, but it worked! Material is tough and I can imagine it lasting for some time. 4 stars because without a condor combat belt, it is difficult to attach to anything else. Also, Velcro is vey noisy.

Pretty cool feels very well made and thick stitching. My only real issue is about the seems on the inside snag on the gun when sliding it out due to how big they are. Other than that it's a well made holster.

March 24, 2016
Perfect. If you own a weapon with ' attachments' as I do (handguns with lights and lasers) you know it's a PITA to find something that fits outside of something super custom and super expensive. These rock! Built like a tank and you can basically make them into any shape you want. You wanna look pretty.... Spend a ton of money on something custom. You want a tactical retaining device that you can run with.... This is your boy.A couple side notes: they are going to take a lot of adjustment. Spend the time and do it right. Might actually involve some re sewing and button placement. But do it totally worth it.Mfg note: it would be awesome if, when you were doing your sewing for the handgun retaining strap, you angled it backwards about 10degrees. As it sits it resides right over the firing control group. Not good. I've been able to tweek it around so it sort of works but a better initial better design would be awesome! Thank youl
great holster
July 19, 2014
I am using this holster for a sig 226 with a light. Holster is very adjustable, I need to do some trimming on the thumb snap strap and there is a lot of extra on the leg. The gun is secure and snug, no slop, yet smooth draw and easy to re-holster. I am 6'2" tall and the drop buckle is way too long (just trying to get a clean draw with a pack and coat on), so I am running my belt through the strap that the drop buckle attaches to. I also removed one of the leg straps. Holster stays put and you do not even notice it is there. Easy to walk/work and run in, does not come loose, stays tight to my hip and leg with no flopping. Heavy material and straps. I would recommend. I did not give it a 5 star rate because they could have done something different with the drop buckle set up for those of us not interested in looking like a movie actor...
Pretty darn good for the money
April 19, 2013
The bad:Even when properly adjusted, the gun sits very low inside the holster making drawing somewhat of a challenge. With the gun tucked in so deep, the thumb-break sits nothing like the pictures. You have to adjust the position of both parts of the thumb-break, but guess what... only one of them is adjustable :-) Anyway, I managed to adjust everything and now the holster fits my Sig 229 pretty well. The thumb-break sits at a weird angle and must be release by your palm instead of your thumb but it's doable.Don't get me wrong, for $26 this is a great product, but it is also one HUGE compromise, so make sure you're OK with that. I got the holster to be able to open carry even with a jacket on. I have done so on many occasions since I bought it and I'm pretty satisfied even with the heavy Sig ( approx. 2 lb loaded + 1 loaded magazine) You definitely need a sturdy belt with this holster, but that being said, it really does a good job distributing all that weight. I'm sure Serpa and other systems will be better but hey, they don't cost $26.Driving with this holster was a challenge at first until I figured that you can sit in such a way that the handle actually sticks down by the side of the seat. If your seats are very wide, you might end up sitting on your gun.A word of caution, If you plan on training with this holster and drawing often, then you need to remove the clip-on button on the thumb break. I attempted 2 draws and realized that pretty much every time, the slide slides on that metal snap-on button. Now I have 2 relatively minor scratches on the Nitron finish of the Sig. They are not huge and deep, but they are there, so no more fast drawing for me until I replace it with Velcro. The holster already has velcro in addition to the snap on button but I plan on having 2 Velcro straps because I like the idea of two motions in different directions that free the gun.It is a little difficult to release the gun right now, but I found that you can use a straight palm in a downward motion to release the Velcro, then to an upward motion a little bit pressing against your thigh to release the snap-on and lastly a downward motion to grab the gun. It sound like a lot of stuff, but trust me, with a bit of practice it is OK and with all that required stuff, a gun-grabber stands very little chance.Anyway, have fun, watch out for scratching your slide and be safe out there - Good product overall, so it's a keeper.

If you're looking for top of t he line and easy to function, or if you're looking for high-quality holster that will last then find another item. This item is okay and worked but I don't use it for everyday duty and only for tactical call-outs. I'm worried this item is going to fail at some point. The item feels flimsy and cheap. The only reason I bought this item was due to the description by the seller. At the time there were no reviews so I'm wanting to make sure I did one for others.
It's OK in a pinch, but not well suited for long term use.
November 23, 2014
I'm 5'10" and have been accused of being 'high waisted' in the past. for some reason the belt attachment seems about an inch or so too short. So it creates this bind that doesn't let it stay and slowly pulls my pants down on that side after several hours of use.It worked fine for the 'need a drop holster for a new gun quick' for a class I was taking, but not for regular use.It could be my body type, I'm not a svelte person
Basic adjustable holster
October 3, 2014
This drop-leg holster is rather bulky and uses a lot of hook and loop to keep it together. The leg straps have good grip and virtually everything is adjustable, include drop, leg strap length, and size of the pistol compartment. I ended up cutting off the adjustment straps on the pistol compartment and the entire magazine compartment. I'll just rivet it to the size that I want. A little cutting with a utility knife and it becomes serviceable.Strangely enough, the bottom of the holster is slightly larger than the top. This could be handy for those that put a light on the rail. I'll keep looking for something better, but this will do for range days.
Inexpensive, works as described, difficult to adjust

I bought this to carry a Smith and Wesson M&P full frame. The construction is good but It is very difficult to adjust to get a good fit on your legs. It holds the gun very well, securely, and doesn't allow the gun to move around when holstered. The best feature is that this is a good holster for the price. It will work when in the field but I wouldn't purchase this if I had to do it over again. If you want high quality you have to pay for high quality. Recommended for budget minded people.
looks cool.

bought for a secondary holster for another firearm. works well. took awhile to adjust to leg opening width. big legs might not work so well. im your average 5'10 175lb guy. dont have big legs or skinny ones. average. and i think the strap on top was almost to the limit for me. i like the mag holder, probably wouldnt wanna run halfway across a football field with a firearm, it'll be bouncing all over the place, you and the gun will be going different directions the whole time, but for casual walking and brisk speeds does fine. like i said, this is a secondary holster, this isnt the first holster i grab.
Great, if your a woman...
January 7, 2013
Not sure who this was aimed at. I'm not exactly a big guy but the leg straps are at their maximum extension and just barely fit my thigh. Will it work? Sure, but its really a better fit for a woman. I'll just get better, longer straps and that should do it. The rest of the holster seems well made including the straps if you discount how short they are. Maybe they were designed for a smaller foreign buyer but if your any kind of big, forget it fitting you without a strap replacement. Holds my Glock 19 very tight even while running which is the point. If you want a fast draw you'll have to be sure the grip strap is off otherwise you'll find yourself using both hands to get your weapon up and out. This is not a fast draw holster.

The quality is good. Just the straps are very long and will need to be modified. I don't recommend this product to a short person.
Keep Looking
August 28, 2015
I found this hoster system to be "fair" at best. I simply couldn't find a way to adequately secure my Kimber Ultra Combat .45ACP without it falling out. This holster has tons of adjustments but the actual top firearm retention strap was simply not flexible enough to secure the weapon. I mean it wasn't even close! The lower leg strap buckle positions almost right on top of your knee cap, making for a poor ergonomic design and a very uncomfortable position. I sent mine back in exchange for the UTG Special Operations Universal Tactical Black Leg Holster - Gen II, also found right here on Amazon. I find that to be a far superior system for my particular weapons and at about the same price point.
Its ok - Price was good

Just got this over the past 24 hours and I have spent some time playing with it. Over all its a nice looking rig, but I found it has limited adjustments for the amount of drop, yet miles of adjustment for the leg straps. Not a deal killer. I have an M&P full size and it accommodated it , but with the lack of adjustment I was concerned that if I fell or otherwise jammed it, the small amount of Velcro would fail, and as time goes on these Velcro rigs to wear. However, some good old fashioned OD duct tape around the mid section of the rig will keep it tight. I also found the top strap ( gun security ) too cumbersome and lacked adequate adjustment to meet the M&P. All that said, for the price it will certainly carry the goods, and with my trusty duct tape I feel better about the lack of adjustment. Just remember, if you think you may need your gun, start early to get it cleared, because there is a handful of strap and Velcro to deal with. No fast draws.
Other than the problems noted, this is a fairly good drop leg holster.

The Condor Tornado Tact Leg Holster (Multicam, Fully adjustable). If you have TTD you should not get this holster (TTD=Thick Thigh Disease). I did a lot of packing, bike riding, weights, stair climbs and the straps max out on persons with TTD. The elastic on these straps aren’t what they should be either. They are thin, weak and do not appear to be aging well after 3 months use. After wearing the holster a while it settles in and loosens which required tightening or adjusting. Because the holster attaches to one location on your belt, it has the tendency to pull down your belt lowering it’s position on your thigh, thus loosens the leg straps and moves or flops around. I am observing this inevitability where ever and with whomever I seer using this holster. The gate guard had to adjust his the other day as I was driving up, rather than keeping his attention on the approaching concern. The holster also should only be deployed in urban or city environments. On a hunt, I have crossed obstacles only to find my hand gun gurgling bubbles in the river I am forging, hung in the brush and cat claw, making my progress more obvious and noisy.I recommend that this holster be fitted with a method to attach to your belt in two locations, probably straddling a belt loop of your pants.Other than the above problems, this is a fairly good drop leg holster.

Purchased this as a gift for my father in-law who is a pretty big guy. It didn't fit. So if you're a fairly large fellow... avoid.Otherwise, quality looked good but it ended up being returned.
Good enough for range duty but not much else

Weapon snags the sights on draw. Good enough for range duty but not much else.
OK for the money, I guess.
January 18, 2015
After reading all the reviews, I finally decided to take this off my wish list and push it on through my cart. I've had it for over a week now and have been wearing it around the house and out in my yard. I'm lucky enough to live in the country so I don't get weird looks. It took a good bit of adjusting, this isn't exactly specific to any one handgun which is nice. After wearing it for a while, it's really not very practical at all. The handgun doesn't holster smoothly but does un-holster smoothly. Aside from that, I was constantly tugging at the leg straps, either they are too tight or begin falling down. The holster is extremely bulky and I ended up removing most of the excess straps (they were just in the way and I didn't want the excess bulk). The magazine pouch is laughable, not sure what size magazine it's designed to hold but it is awfully tiny. All in all, I might would use this as a costume piece or strictly at the range which is a big maybe there. In this case, since I didn't spend much, I would say it's OK for the amount paid.
Not a Perfect Fit for 1911
May 26, 2014
I've got a 1911 with a combat hammer and beaver tail, this holster wasn't designed with those possibilities in mind...couldn't adjust the strap and the strap was a button, not a three prong clip which would be preffered.
Not very useful
April 26, 2014
This ended up not being all that useful of a purchase for me. I got this because it was cheap and I would have at least one holster that could carry any future guns I might buy instead of having to order a custom holster right away. However it is almost impossible to adjust the straps correctly to get a good fit. The gun probably won't fall out, but it doesn't stay still, which defeats the whole purpose of a tactical holster. The nylon is also not stiff at all and immediately deforms when you take the gun or magazine out, making it a pain to get back in correctly. It was nice and cheap, but sometimes you get what you pay for.
Not for duty use
April 28, 2013
What this holster should be used for:1) Storing a pistol at the firing range while it is not in use. What this holster should NOT be used for:1) A real combat situation.2) Carrying a pistol in public. From personal experience, this holster does not hold up in the field. It is easily pulled off of the latch that attaches to your belt. Additionally, it does little to nothing to retain your firearm once the rest of the holster has failed. The old adage is true. You get what you pay for. This is affordable. In a WROL, SHTF, or any other combat situation, this product will fail you. If you are purchasing the product with the intent to use it very lightly during range time, then make the purchase. It will do that job well. If you are going to let your life depend on this product then spend the extra money and go with something that has already proven itself in the field. As I made the mistake of relying on this product and, subsequently, was almost seriously injured, I cannot give it more than two stars.

Shipping was great. Here's the thing about the product though
August 29, 2017
Shipping was great. Here's the thing about the product though, the straps are so long there's a ton of extra left just hanging everywhere because there's no loop to hold the extra. Second, I had it for about eight days and the button broke that hold it in the holster so pretty much it's garbage now until I get the button replaced. Third the belt loop is velcro which I actually liked because it velcro'd to what was left on my belt but it takes most of the weight because the leg straps don't stretch a lot so it ends up pulling down on that side of your belt. I wouldn't recommend this particular holster unless when you're wearing this you're not moving anywhere or it's just for looks.

August 5, 2017
Too much excess material is present and the snap slides right over the back of my Glock 17 GEN 4. I would not trust this design to retain my sidearm, while moving from cover to cover during a firefight. However, it still has some nuance of the "cool-guy" appeal.Still, and to the point, function takes priority over looks in this case.
Too lose or too tight
May 9, 2017
I have Sig SP2022 .40cal with laser/light combo attached. This is the reason I decided to buy an adjustable holster. Unfortunately, this unit won't work for on my setup. Once I pull the pistol out, I need to use my other hand to clear the opening to slide my pistol back in. I made the opening bigger but that made my pistol jumped out when I ran.
Not great, not terrible.
March 26, 2017
Although extremely adjustable and truly universal design, fails to adequately support weapon (too floppy while walking). Almost too many adjustable parts. Double leg strap fails to secure holster to leg crating an uncomfortable, inconvenient, and potentially unsafe carry situation. It will do the job, but only if sitting or standing still. Not a great option for truly tactical carry.

The holster itself is great but the snaps that go over the hammer to secure it left marks on my hand gun and the quick release buckle broke the first time I used it. I'm sorry but I can't recommend this to anyone without modifications.
The material was the best part of this holster
May 17, 2015
I bought this so I could keep my light off on my pistol. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way. I couldn't reholster with my light, it kept getting stuck on the lip. The material was the best part of this holster, very stiff and seemed it would last. That was also the problem as the material was canted in and didn't line up with my pistol so I couldn't get a good fit.

The product that could have been a 4-5! Except for a major flaw.
February 10, 2016
Its a shame they didnt use better buckles because it would be a 4-5 star product. The leg buckles do not stay latched. The indentions on the male buckle are far to shallow to stay secured in the female end. Makes the product useless except for maybe light duty stuff. I hopped off a 4 wheeler this weekend and it came undone so we are talking really light duty. When I try and snug the strap on my leg the buckle comes undone. Also I am 6'4 and 265#s and the straps are a bit short with insulated pants on. Buckles are not an easy replacement item, I already thought about that.

December 16, 2015
too much Velcro! the buckles on mine wouldn't stay clipped, the Velcro inside comes undone when holstering (scratching up my glock) and the Velcro that holds the thumbreak is too short, so it will come off completely with a quick tug, completely unsecuring weapon. this needs to be sewn to fix in place. entire setup is really heavy, so it will pull down your belt, as well as ride down your leg(which just keeps it down once it gets pulled down). overall, I'm going to have to scrap it, slim it down, and rebuild with the sewing machine to make it effective (waited too long to send it back), wish id have spent the money on a better setup or kydex
It's cool looking and all but it's not what I ordered
August 15, 2015
It arrived on time. The bag said leg holster. I took it out and yep, it's a shoulder holster. I bought this for a cosplay so it will work. It's cool looking and all but it's not what I ordered.
Holster is good, but 1 major flaw.
May 15, 2014
Received item in a timely manner. Velcro adjustments up to millimeters to provide a snug for for SigSauer P2022. However, 1 star because the thumb break on holster doesn't work. The button literally was broken, didn't snap close. As a holster to carry a pistol, it's fine; but weapon retention is far more greater.

Worthless product. After spending over an hour adjusting the leg straps and retention strap, the button on the retention snap broke off after TWO sidearm draws. Just a very cheaply made holster. Will be returning and looking at another vendor.
DOESN'T CUT IT
July 9, 2017
I had very high hopes for this thigh rig. Its mostly well built except for one deal breaker........ the clip on the strap that goes around your leg is poor quality, so when you draw, it comes undone. I'm not talking about a one time thing, it will happens everytime. Useless.

Great design and idea
February 20, 2017
Great design and idea, poor execution and QC, as most of anything online anymore! It is a pain in the a$$ to change the tightness of the straps, that go across the backstrap of the grip. Plus, I haven't even used this thing and the threads have pulled out on the magazine pouch!!! Thank goodness I wasn't in a situation and this was failing!! Haven't even tried a return or exchange, as this is telling to me!
Cheap product
December 11, 2016
The belt buckle broke as soon as I fastened it, such a cheap product. The good this was that Amazon refunded the full amount.
Snap broke immediately! Don't waste your time or money.
October 31, 2014
The snap broke the very first time I unsnapped it...it pulled it right out of the nylon webbing...only 30 seconds out of the box!Without this snap this holster is completely useless. Also, the webbing is extremely long as other reviewers have mentioned, but I could live with that as you can simply just cut it where you need it and melt the edges to keep from fraying. (It has to be long for it to be a universal holster that fits everyone.)I own other Condor gear and have been generally pleased with the quality. However, I wasn't surprised to find this product is made in China. I was under the impression that all Condor products are made in the U.S., however only a few of them are according to their website (2009-USA production line addition, capable of producing Made IN USA products.)DO NOT BUY!
