September 21, 2017 I bought this about a year ago for my sons room because of the various features and the lights. It works great in their size room and they LOVE the colors at night as a nightlight. The water capacity and auto-shut off are perfect for my kids at night. The lights and auto-shut off are reasons I purchased this model, plus reviews I'd read. The on/off switch is not really a button but more of a sensor you touch, it took a little getting used to but I actually like it a lot now so that my kids don't have any "parts" they can mess with.I would buy it again and plan to for my daughters room. So I purchaseD One of these for myself and could not be happier. THE BEST DIFFUSER !!!!! May 2, 2017 This PURESPA DELUXE ULTRASONIC is a STRONG Diffuser. It did not disappoint me for the amount that I spent. After looking around at so many diffusers, I decided to order Purespa Deluxe. The steam shoot up strong and a it gives a great volumous amount just like the picture. It does not make any noise. Its very easy to use. You put water in with the essential oil of your choice and close the lid and touch the sensor button. This particular one goes on all night. The motor is well made. The design is nice as well. The look of a shiny metal-like body is clean looking and pleasing to any décor in the house or office. Great First Diffuser February 4, 2016 First, I want to say it was SUPER fast shipping. I ordered on Saturday and received on Monday with standard shipping selected! This is my first diffuser and did a lot of research on them. I didn’t want to pay a lot of money but also didn’t want to sacrifice style and function. This one fit the bill for price, style and function. I love the unique design and the light display. I will start using this in my bedroom to help me sleep more restfully. Then hopefully purchase another one or use in different areas of my home if the aroma doesn’t reach. I have a small home. I can hear a slight hum but it won’t bother when sleeping because I also put a fan on for white noise. But even if I didn’t, I don’t think the hum would bother anyone.I read in some reviews that the button was “finicky”. I did not have a problem with it. One complaint I have, is I wish more companies included essential oil guides with their product. It’s very hard for rookie to get started with essential oils without a guide to start with. There is a lot of information on the Internet but some of it is so contradicting and tends to only support that companies product. Regardless, I press on and investigate and test the different uses.The other thing that I did like about this product is that it has a 2 year warranty and 100% satisfaction guarantee. December 17, 2015 This a wonderful product. I happened to find it on Amazon when it was on sale. (Bonus!) I'm new to essential oils.. And diffusers. After doing some research I decided to try both to help me relax & sleep better.Right out of the box this diffuser was easy to set up. The instructions were well illustrated and simple. To turn on, just touch the power button once. Touching more than once turns the multicolored light on. The auto shut off is a great feature.This diffuser is extremely quit. The only noise is a minimal "bubbling" noise.. Which I find soothing.This package includes a measuring cup, which is super convenient. So far I have run the machine for about 5 hrs with approximately 1/3 of the water left when I shut it off. Honestly, they were bought because we had no oils and they were extremely affordable. They smell great with only a few drops in the diffuser and I suppose help us sleep. I was really pretty skeptical about whether or not they actually did anything at all. Then my carpal tunnel pain got out of control even with taking Ibuprofen 800 and bracing my wrist. I was pretty sure that I was doomed to surgery. So last night I was pretty desperate and found that EO's are supposed to help. I got my big jar of coconut oil (the kind that looks like Crisco) that I have in the kitchen and put a tablespoon or so in a glass then dropped about 10 drops of peppermint (pain relief), 10 drops of lemongrass (tendon and ligament repair), and 5 drops of lavender (calming and pain relief) and massaged it in for about 5 minutes. Today my arm feels 80% better than it did yesterday. I honestly cannot believe how much better it feels after 1 day. I have a ton of friends who sell YL oil and swear that they are the cleanest purest and maybe they are, but I figure as long as I am willing to go eat a greasy burger at a restaurant then I already have impure oils in my system. It was frustrating that it only covers a reach of maybe 4-5 feet. I do taxes and thought it might be calming to clients. They don't smell anything. So it's nice for me if close by but that's it. Great but has drawbacks... November 29, 2016 Love this diffuser, very relaxing spa type atmosphere. I'm leaving off a star because there is only one control button, no options for color setting, it only flashes all the colors. You can turn that off and on, but if you want to leave it on one color, it's not gonna happen. It also only had one speed and no timer setting. It blows until all your water/oil is gone or you turn it off. Pretty bummed it's going to go straight to the trash April 20, 2016 UPDATE: Changing this to 4 stars from 2 stars for now. After I left my review, the vendor reached out immediately and sent me a replacement. Their customer service is great and I can only hope that the initial model I bought was a "bad batch". Great long lasting diffuser and can be DARK April 12, 2016 Initial one did not work, but they readily replaced it. I am enjoying this in my office. This one takes the same amount of water as our other ones (various brands/models), but seems to last longer. Will move into my children's room since it can not produce light (they need a dark room to sleep.) Other models we have even without the light one produce too much light we have to creatively place them in the room. Perfect for people that require darkness, but would be good for those that need light too. It worked just fine and looked great on my nightstand April 4, 2016 I ordered both the PureSpa Deluxe Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Oil Diffuser – High Capacity and the PureSpa Essential Oil Diffuser – Compact Ultrasonic Aromatherapy at the same time to give them both a try, and I have decided that the Compact one puts out more mist than the High Capacity one. I will be returning the High Capacity one and buying a second Compact one. Because both of them have a 100 mL reservoir, the “high capacity” designation must be related to its ability to diffuse for a longer period of time as a result of a lesser volume of mist being pumped out. With regard to quality, I would rate this product a 5. It worked just fine and looked great on my nightstand. The colors that cycled were also nice, but I think the Compact colors changed a bit more gradually than the High Capacity colors, which I preferred. and I would highly recommend it to other users November 17, 2015 This diffuser has been an incredible asset to our home, and I would highly recommend it to other users. My favorite feature is that it diffuses ALL NIGHT! We set it up before we go to bed, and in the morning, the oils are still diffusing. I love that I am assured the aromatherapy during an entire night's sleep. I also like that the light can be turned off. The only negative is that the power button to turn the machine on and/or change the lighting is sometimes difficult to work. IT is an internal button and does not stick out of the machine. This makes it look very sleek and modern, however, I often have to fiddle with it for a few seconds to turn it on. Three Star Reviews: | 5% Just so so March 16, 2016 I use this item with essential oils. The mist is very fine and the oils set on top of the water. So the first few minutes of operation you smell the oils but after that there is just a minute mist of water. You have to keep adding oil if you want aroma. Great deal while it lasted February 4, 2016 Easy to use, great for all day (or night) use with ability to stay on 10 hours. Button is VERY sensitive to the touch. Even a slight brush of hand changes the setting.I'm amending my review.After having it just over a month (and now I can't request a return), the motor seems to be having trouble intermittently and whirs louder than it has been previously and heats the water to the unit of condensation on the top (outside) of the lid after running for just a few hours. It doesn't do this every use, but when it does I turn it off and leave it to sit until the next day before trying to use again. Then ir seems to work normally the next two or so used and starts up again with the same issue of condensation but the motor is noise is always louder than before (it's npt loud by any means still, just louder than it was initially). Two Stars December 28, 2015 This product worked well for several months, then quit working.Update: from 2 stars to 3After leaving my initial review, the company contacted me and issued a replacement diffuser. It was shipped and I received it within two days. The replacement was given free of any charge. In addition, they did not require me to send back the defective product. This was nice as I did not have to spend time packaging and returning it. This is a real positive for the company's customer service, and is greatly appreciated! The only thing that I did not care for regarding customer service was the fact that after replacing the product, they asked multiple times for me to update my review. I finally had to email back stating that I did not appreciate them asking for a better review multiple times and that it is unprofessional, however that I would update my review after having a chance to use the replacement product.The product is nice looking and diffuses as supposed to. I like that it has the option to work without the colored light on, as I find it distracting. This product functions best if you do not fill water to the maximum line. It works best when filled about halfway before the max line. Because of this, it does not run for the maximum amount of time that the product description states, and in addition to the first product's limited life span, is the reason for only 3 stars. I would recommend this product based off of it's design. I personally really like how nice it looks. Diffuser beeps when water empties November 29, 2015 I was looking for an all night diffuser for my son's small room. This seemed like a great option. His room is really small and other diffusers make the room smell overwhelmingly strong of oils. This one put out a nice light scent and supposedly would last all night or most of the night. After using it for a few months I found out the although it runs all night I can't even smell any oils beingbemitted with the water after a few hours. On top of that I figured out that it makes a fairly loud beep when it's empty and turns off. After a few nights I figured out it was waking my son up in the middle of the night. Great diffuser for great price! October 29, 2015 I rate this diffuser a 5. It is very easy to use, lasts all night (8 hours). If I put it in our upstairs hallway it does all 3 of our bedrooms well. We have medium sized bedrooms, 2 beside each other, and master across the hall from those 2.The light is not bright too bright. I was worried when another user posted that because I wanted to use in my son's rooms but it doesn't wake them and they like it as a night light.You can see the vapors coming out right when you plug it in and the aromas fil the room within minutes.I'm very happy with this purchase. October 2, 2015 I really wanted to loved this diffuser especially since I had read a lot of good reviews for it. Unfortunately, it is a disappointment. The one positive is that the PureSpa diffuser does have a nice size reservoir which means it will diffuse oils for a very long time. This is a very nice feature! But, it doesn't have a lot of power to send the diffused oil over my entire living room. The aroma is concentrated in one area. I expected to be able to enjoy the fragrance of the oils throughout my tiny living room. The other huge drawback is the lack of an actual switch or button to turn it on. There is a "button area" labeled on the base but it is extremely difficult to engage on (without lights), on (with lights) and off. I believe an actual button or switch would be much bettter. Without an actual switch you have to be careful that you don't knock over the diffuser which would create a huge, oily mess. The diffuser also beeps when you plug it in, when you turn it on and when it shuts itself off. I just went to turn it on and it makes a horrible noise while running. Super disappointed mostly because my daughter has a terrible cold and we can't difuse anything to help her sleep :/ Poor quality March 22, 2017 Rim came loose just a few weeks after urchase. Light stopped working shortly after. Even though it got high ratings, it was a big disappointment. Not the best quality March 6, 2017 Has a nice sleek and modern look, love the changing colors, but the lid is very cheap quality and has separated from the clear plastic part.I have been unable after many attempts to put it back into place. I did not drop it and it managed to just come apart on its own, looking for a new diffuser. Possibly a defective product since this one has so many good reviews.... July 24, 2016 This has been my least favorite purchase lately. It doesn't seem to cover the amount of space that it claims. It also started leaking on my dresser. I got lucky and caught it in time to clean up the spill. We take very good care of it and clean it consistently, but it frequently gets pink inside. I just ordered another brand of diffuser. May 19, 2016 I loved the look of the diffusers and the fact that they run for a long time before shutting off but they aren't worth the price. I bought 2 of these and one of them only lasted about 6 months before it no longer worked. It got to the point that I couldn't get it to turn on or off without unplugging the unit and that is ridiculous for the price that it wouldn't last longer than 6 months. It leaked everywhere and made such a mess. I had to throw out this unit and for the price i expected a lot better quality. The second unit is still going and as of right now the only issue is that sometimes when I try to turn it on I have to keep swiping over the power switch several times to get it to come on and that is very aggravating. I have put something under it just in case it starts to leak like the other one that I had to throw out. It does run for a long time and puts out a wonderful scent when essential oils are added and the coloring changing lights are beautiful. I would have rated these higher if one of them had lasted longer than 6 months.I would not recommend this product to anyone due to the high price and one of the units failing very quickly. One Star Reviews: | 9% NOT HAPPY AT ALL January 12, 2017 Bought this item as a Christmas gift. Just yesterday the item was running per usual and, maybe after 6 hours running, it began to beep and beep. I checked it out. Discovered that the pressure-sensitive power button would not work as it had been working just fine before.Today I cleaned out the unit and tested it. I plug it in and it beeps, and a red light flashes, but nothing else. Power button does not work. I have NO idea why this unit died on me only after (almost) 3 weeks of owning it. I had not been using this unit on a daily basis. I followed the instructions. What pains me is that I did research before making my purchase and this particular brand was named as "Top 10" oil diffusers to buy. It wasn't cheap...$35. and OH! The lid also came apart (the black larger part came apart from the silver colored rim) - cheap plastic. Could never get a great seal after that happened. The lid problem happened a few days before the entire unit died. CHEAP. PIECE OF JUNK THAT BROKE WITHIN 2 MONTHS OF USE April 28, 2016 I'm changing my rating on this from 5 stars to 1. I rated it as 5 stars after using it one time. It was great and filled my home with a wonderful scent more so than I thought it would based on the description stating that it would cover only up to 250 square feet. I've now had it for less than 6 months and about a month after starting to use it more regularly the top ring and plastic covering broke off, it no longer shuts off automatically, the colors don't work, and while it is on and "running" the water just sits in the compartment with no scent being emitted (which is probably why it doesn't ever shut off since the water is still at the fill line level). EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED especially for the amount of money I paid for this!! junk September 23, 2015 Worked for one day then stopped, highly disappointed for the price.Update:Was sent a replacement unit. This unit is working much better, lasts all night and disperses the oil scent nicely. Unfortunately small amounts of condensation seem to leak out from under lid.Update:Product is a huge disappointment, condensation leaks from under the lid, the water turns brown with every use, where the condensation leaks the brown water makes the outside dirty. I have multiple different diffusers (different brand) and have no problems with my other ones. Would return if possible. Dont waste your money!!! Both units eventually stopped working. August 28, 2015 Updated - Originally I liked this, it works well, it lasted all night long without running out of water .... but you cannot select one color and it just consistently rotates between them all.However I had one completely stop working within 1 month. Ordered a replacement. Now the other one just stopped working last month. Nothing makes it work.So either both of the ones I ordered were defective and eventually both stopped working, or I have diffuser gremlins. Probably the first..... Not happy. Bad longevity; didn't last a full month. Returning for full refund. July 22, 2015 Functions amazingly quietly, and the distribution is perfect. Of course, it helps if you don't go overboard with the drops ... live and learn, right? I noted an exercise another did to show they are pure, however, the scent is lacking. The quality of the product before distillation may be just a little less than others such as Y.L. or Dotera, Rocky Mt., Ananda, etc. These are still usable just not a WOW regarding.
