Perfect!My husband has trouble sleeping and I wanted to try lavender oil to help out and it may be placebo but he has slept like a baby for the first 2 nights since we started using the diffuser! I love it because it makes the house smell great and the option to have the nightlight on or off is really great.Overall I am super happy with this product and can't wait to try other essential oils! I think everyone may be getting diffusers for Christmas from me next year :)PS. While it is a great diffuser, it only holds a small amount of water so don't plan on using it as your main humidifier if that is what you want. It definitely does add some moisture into the air but it isn't a full scale humidifier. Best Diffuser at a Great Price! November 30, 2016 I bought this diffuser because it was listed as "Amazon's Choice" and I'm so happy I did! There are way too many diffusers to choose from and I honestly can't say enough good things about this one! I had already purchased one directly from doTerra and paid a ridiculous amount of money - so I have a comparison to this diffuser. I was pleasantly surprised with this one! I love the way the vapor just pours out of the top. You can see it "steaming" out of the top! I use about 5 or 6 drops and you can smell the essential oils throughout the whole room! I also really like the shape of this diffuser. I think it looks great in my living room or bedroom. Another reason I absolutely love this diffuser is because it lasts a long time. For me it lasts at least 6 hours! The automatic shut off feature is wonderful. I have no worries turning it on at bedtime because it will just shut off when it's out of water. No sounds, and no weird beeps when it shuts off. I also use it in my living room with the blue light on. I find the blue light very soothing and pretty at the same time. When I go to bed, I do not use the blue light. I need a dark room to sleep. It's so simple to use. Fill with tap wat to the line, add your oils, put the top back on and turn it on. Press once to turn on with the blue light, the second time you press the button, the blue light will go off but the diffuser is still on, and the third time you press the button, will turn off the unit. Another great feature is that the plug in cord is detachable from the back. When it's on my night table, I just unplug it from the back, and bring it to the sink. It's also just as easy to use any measuring cup to fill it. To sum it all up: Easy to use, fills the whole room with scent, lasts a long time, nice shape, choice of light or no light and the price is great! Just fantastic! I'm buying 2 more. One for my sister and another one for me so I don't have to keep moving it from room to room! I really don't think anyone would be disappointed with this diffuser. Everything about it is easy... except unplugging it. I can deal with that. I'm not sure how it works but I get instant vapor with no heat. I'm use Rosemary while I work. Worth Every Penny To This New, Happy User September 27, 2015 I'm new at using diffusers, so I'll attempt to appeal to the new users out there. This is a nicely operating diffuser. It's very easy to get started and emits a relaxing, gentle amount of lovely essential oil fragrance, although I'll assume my quality oils play a part in this experience.For new users, please pay close attention to the room size the diffuser will accommodate - it's not magic - so if it claims to fill 250 square feet of room space, it will, but not likely more than that. Next, condensation naturally accumulates inside the diffuser's cover, so when you carefully remove it to clean and add additional water/oil, keep in mind you'll want a wash cloth or paper towel nearby to catch water droplets, which may or may not contain oils that could stain wood or cloth. Simple as that - have something absorbent nearby. Easy! Also, keep in mind there is no locking mechanism on the unit to prevent accidental tips (curious kitties, anyone?). Keep your diffuser in a safe place away from kids and pets and you should be great.One favorite feature is the auto shut-off mode when the water tank is close to/or empty - and without a loud beeping alarm! These annoyances are apparently common in some lesser professional models. This diffuser's quiet shut-off mode allows you to go to sleep with it on, and not worry about it beeping (waking you) or becoming overheated while you sleep.And although I do wish the top and base would securely attach to prevent accidental bumps, I'm still giving it five stars for its other excellent features. August 30, 2015 My friend's mom got me into essential oils and I needed a diffuser. Without hesitating, I got on Amazon and picked this one first because of the reviews and second because it has a nice design unlike some of the other diffusers on here. The blue light is a really nice touch but if it's on your nightstand, it will probably be distracting if you're trying to sleep due to it's brightness. I noticed in other reviews people were saying that there is no way to operate the diffuser without the light which is not true at all, one push of the button turns the diffuser on along with the light and another push of the button turns the light off while continuing to run the diffuser. Another feature I really like about this diffuser is that it has an auto shut off once it runs out of water which really helps with the life of the diffuser as well as energy. May 19, 2015 I had been looking for a good quality diffuser for quite some time. Some aesthetically pleasing, something not too large, and something that - you know - actually worked. I decided to give this one a try. I am so glad I did!! I am absolutely in love with this diffuser - I use it at least twice a day, once when I get home, and then once before bed. I haven't timed how long the diffuser runs for, but I would estimate about 3-4 hours if you fill it up to the fill line.What I love about this is the autoshut off. When it runs out of water, it turns off. You can tell its off because when it is on, it emits a bright blue light - it's pretty cool, but unfortunately there's currently no way to turn the light off without turning the entire device off BTW. So, when the device runs out of water, the light shuts off.I bought this in combination with a set of synergy blends from Edens Garden (also on Amazon) and it has definitely had amazing benefits so far. Honestly, they were bought because we had no oils and they were extremely affordable. They smell great with only a few drops in the diffuser and I suppose help us sleep. I was really pretty skeptical about whether or not they actually did anything at all. Then my carpal tunnel pain got out of control even with taking Ibuprofen 800 and bracing my wrist. I was pretty sure that I was doomed to surgery. So last night I was pretty desperate and found that EO's are supposed to help. I got my big jar of coconut oil (the kind that looks like Crisco) that I have in the kitchen and put a tablespoon or so in a glass then dropped about 10 drops of peppermint (pain relief), 10 drops of lemongrass (tendon and ligament repair), and 5 drops of lavender (calming and pain relief) and massaged it in for about 5 minutes. Today my arm feels 80% better than it did yesterday. I honestly cannot believe how much better it feels after 1 day. I have a ton of friends who sell YL oil and swear that they are the cleanest purest and maybe they are, but I figure as long as I am willing to go eat a greasy burger at a restaurant then I already have impure oils in my system. I like that the light is either on or off - I didn't want to scroll through 12 colors to turn it off! I was replacing one I got from Young Living - it became very loud (after one year). October 20, 2016 This is a great diffuser, and next to my bed also provides a wonderful quiet bubbling. My only complaint is that the blue light is WAY too bright for nighttime use, and would like other colors. This in no way interferes with the performance; I should have been more selective if the light was that important to me. A word of caution: don't keep it too close to your bedside or above your headboard if using overnight. The first night I used this, I placed it on a ledge slightly above the head of my bed. My partner went to sleep first, and woke up within an hour complaining he could taste the oils. Well, I came in and looked, and sure enough, the mist was settling down where his head was, so with his mouth-breathing/snoring, he actually was tasting the oil. Oopsie. So I moved the diffuser and have not since had an issue with taste or accidentally torturing my partner with essential oils. I wish I would have waited for the optional light feature to be available prior to purchasing. I like the light but having the ability to turn it off while in use would be nice.My few concerns are that it does seem a bit unstable, which is a little unexpected considering that the weight is primarily on the bottom. Coupled with the base being just wide enough for me to be unable to move it with one hand has already yielded a few spills on my part. It does seem like a bit more weight centered in the middle of the base or a slightly smaller base might help alleviate those concerns.I do wish there was a model that was better suited to dispersing the scent in a large, great room setting. We like how easy it is to fill and use March 10, 2017 We like how easy it is to fill and use. The biggest down fall is that it doesn't have an automatic timer. It doesn't turn off when the water is gone. Which has lead to some fire hazard moments. We just had to throw it in the trash. Purchased in December and already broke (and I can't return ... February 12, 2017 Purchased in December and already broke (and I can't return it). Measure out the dimensions, because it's a lot smaller than expected. It looks nice, is very quiet January 3, 2016 It looks nice, is very quiet, leaves a pleasant scent and lasts for about 4 hours. However, it's way too easy for the water to spill out of the diffuser. You place the water and oils in the bottom part and then replace the top half of the diffuser on top. It just sits on top, no twist, or click to keep it in place, and the chamber that the water sits in isn't covered, except for the no-twist / no-click top. Also, if the diffuser is full of water and you need to attach the cord to it to plug it in, the hole where the cord connects to the diffuser is under the bottom curve so you have to be careful you don't spill the water while you're attaching the cord (that being said, there are simple solutions but it's still a design issue. Solutions: keep the cord connected to diffuser and unplug it from the wall to go fill it, or keep the diffuser plugged in and bring the water to the diffuser to fill it, versus bringing the diffuser with the cord removed to the sink). When you put the oils in the water and turn it on, you can smell the oils for only a short time. I don't know what would cause this, but I just thought that's the way they worked as it was my first diffuser. Then I got another kind out of desperation of wanting my whole diffusing experience to be better and hoping for the best. It is amazing. The other kind I got keeps the scent going the whole time it is running. I don't know, maybe this particular one from InstaNatural is missing a piece or something that makes it work right. Also, the light doesn't go off and it's pretty bright. I did ask the company about this when I first got it, and they got back with me right away and said they were working on making the light go off on future models. I did appreciate that. But I feel like I wasted my money on this product and now the return window is closed because of the time that has passed.Well, I'm back to add to my review. I've tried everything to fix the problem on the trouble shooting guide, and still doesn't work. The window for returns is closed, so I'm out of luck. When I'd plug it in and hit the button, the light would flash on and then go off immediately and the thing would not start.
