| I really liked the different light settingsSeptember 19, 2017 I bought this for my son to be used in his nursery. I really liked the different light settings. I liked putting on the setting that would change color of light to for my little to watch and kinda soothe him to sleep. I also really liked that I could set it on a certain color and use as a night light and still use the diffusing setting without taking up the limited outlet space I had in his room (got to love old houses for that right? ;) ). It generally will diffuse for about 8 hours or so. As far as it getting mold or dirty, just like anything else you have to make sure to clean it. I just followed the cleaning instructions that came with it. they were pretty simple, just put some vinegar and water in the tank and let it set for a few minutes. I would also take a Q-tip and clean the ultrasonic table on the bottom and to clean the cover. I didn't use distilled water but never had any problems so far. Also, side note, if you are diffusing essential oils, PLEASE!!! research to make sure you are using 100% pure oils! Great for the Price!January 24, 2017 This has been a really great diffuser. I really love the ability to change the lights in it too. It's super, super simple to use. Simply twist the top cone till it disalignes the little dots close to the base, remove the cone ( I usually have to start this process with my fingernails and then pull in the rest of the way off), fill to the desired water line, and add the desired essential oils. I'll mix lavender and vanilla or sweet orange and vanilla. Once you've finished adding your oils and replaced the top cone, press the left button for the light. Continue pressing the button until you find the desired color you want. If you don't want to use the light you don't have to because the button to the right controls the actual diffusion. Once the water runs out it will turn off on its own. If you want to stop diffusing the press the right button twice. If you want to stop using the light the hold the button down till it beeps twice.I wish the top (cone) was a little easier to remove, but that's a very minor complaint in comparison to all of its other great features. I highly recommend it.*** If I remember right there were reviews complaining about an obtrusive logo? Unless something has changed, what you see in the above picture is what you get. It lets me know its on and feels like the Holidays with the changing colors and I looooove that. I use pure essential oils by Aura Cacia and it depends how strong the oil is on whether I get a lot of smell or not... I havent gone a day without using it since I got it a few weeks ago. Worth it!!! The instructions are simple, I prefer the always on setting instead of the on and off and on and off, but I think the on and off setting would be great if I was diffusing all day. I am usually just in one place for a couple hours and want to just breathe in the oils the entire time. It makes a quiet dripping noise when it runs, and a very slight whirring sound as the steam escapes, subtle white noise. When you press the buttons, they beep quietly, so in the dark you know you pressed it, but not so loud that is wakes a sleeping baby :-) I like it so much I bought 2 more for other parts of the house. I've been diffusing in a room about 150 sq ft, I put in 3-4 drops of essential oil and that is PLENTY to get a nice scent. If you subscribe to their newsletter you can get a coupon for a discount. They are thorough with following up with your purchase, sending you an email with use and cleaning instructions. Oil Skeptic turned believerApril 13, 2017 I usually don't do reviews but this time I really felt like I should. My husband bought this set for our new diffuser to help us sleep at night. Honestly, they were bought because we had no oils and they were extremely affordable. They smell great with only a few drops in the diffuser and I suppose help us sleep. I was really pretty skeptical about whether or not they actually did anything at all. Then my carpal tunnel pain got out of control even with taking Ibuprofen 800 and bracing my wrist. I was pretty sure that I was doomed to surgery. So last night I was pretty desperate and found that EO's are supposed to help. I got my big jar of coconut oil (the kind that looks like Crisco) that I have in the kitchen and put a tablespoon or so in a glass then dropped about 10 drops of peppermint (pain relief), 10 drops of lemongrass (tendon and ligament repair), and 5 drops of lavender (calming and pain relief) and massaged it in for about 5 minutes. Today my arm feels 80% better than it did yesterday. I honestly cannot believe how much better it feels after 1 day. I have a ton of friends who sell YL oil and swear that they are the cleanest purest and maybe they are, but I figure as long as I am willing to go eat a greasy burger at a restaurant then I already have impure oils in my system. I just don't want my stupid wrist to keep hurting and these have helped immensely. | | | |

These things happen, peppermint is a very corrosive oil, not in a negative way but it should not be shipped sideways because if it can ooosss it will, always ship upright to avoid leaks.The oils themselves state "therapeutic grade" and I did read reviews before purchasing. I noted an exercise another did to show they are pure, however, the scent is lacking. The quality of the product before distillation may be just a little less than others such as Y.L. or Dotera, Rocky Mt., Ananda, etc. These are still usable just not a WOW regarding.
