Five Star Reviews: | 43% great price November 26, 2016 great price, like the "cruise control" and this blower has a little more power than my last one which was 200mph. perfect.. February 4, 2016 Perfect ! it replaces one i had for many years..glad this model is still avaiable | 67% There are no reviews yet | 52% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 23% powerful and flimsy July 9, 2017 This Poulan Pro PPB25 is a powerful little blower. It was easy to assemble except for the main screw that holds the tube to the blower. The screw and bolt on mine were a weird combination of two nuts forming some sort of lock nut that I could not turn to tighten. It took 2 sockets sets to loosen the nut and bolt so I could attach the tube. Also the blower is so powerful that it blew the lower portion of the tube loose. These plastic tubes have a twist lock on them that just vibrates loose allowing to tube to blow off. Easy fix with powergrab adhesive and duct tape.CHNorth Carolina Not a Stihl but..... March 21, 2016 Works and runs well. Not quite as much power ask I would have hoped but I am used to using a stihl back pack blower. Worked well for me. 4 **** stars November 20, 2015 It is a little heavier than my old Stihl., but it starts with no problem. Time will tell its longevity. | 17% There are no reviews yet | 17% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 9% Definitely buy a 2 year extended warranty! July 18, 2017 I bought this Poulan pro blower in November of '16 it's not even a year old and it will not start, I've done everything possible to get it going again and I'm either getting a refund or replacement I hope!! Starts up fine every time July 12, 2017 Starts up fine every time. The only issue I have is how cheap the air tube is, had some problems keeping it attached to the blood. Pretty good for price May 23, 2017 Pretty good for price, but had a few issues with it continually stalling on idle and the power keeps dropping off during use requiring the choke to be switch back on to get back up to full speed again. Better handles and starting controls December 29, 2016 Buy the yellow one. Better handles and starting controls. Seems very powerful and starts easily when cold November 5, 2016 Seems very powerful and starts easily when cold. Unfortunately if left turned off for more than 15 minutes it refuses to re-start! I have tried no-choke, half-choke and full-choke. Very frustrating! | 8% There are no reviews yet | 11% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 8% This was a great blower while it lasted August 25, 2017 This was a great blower while it lasted. Worked good for about 11 months, then the carb began to fail. Poulan's website states 2 year warranty, but only for manufacturer defects, not for carb failure. Took it to get a tune up and was told that it would be about $99 for a new carburetor. This darn blower cost me $99..... Shaking my head!!! Two Stars June 16, 2017 out of the box had to take it to a service center for repair.would not stay running.as of9/9/17 ithas not been repaired Hard to start April 30, 2017 Hard to start, every time. Sometimes won't start. Frustrated and want to tell about it Poulan. Doesn't live up to the air power promised when it does start. WATCH THE SPECS April 9, 2017 WATCH THE SPECS!! The 650 cfm rating is for the VACUUM function. Also, it comes with a VERY tapered nozzle that must be used to get the 215mph listed in the specs. When I saw that it was included I knew something was going to be up. I've re-read all the specs and description and nowhere could I find this nozzle mentioned. Very misleading specs. Blower itself is difficult to start but runs pretty well once you get it going. Could probably learn the magic process to get it going day to day. It blows fairly well but I was looking for something will some serious guts to it and bought it based off the impressive specs. Also, not a big deal being a tool but the blower was pretty beat up coming out of the box, scuffs and scratches all over the plastic. I'd say the product itself is a 3-4 star but give it a 2 for wasting my time so if you've read my review and realize what you're getting it'll probably serve you well. Sorry for the fuzzy pic of the manual, really thought I did a better job I have not had the product but a couple of ... August 6, 2016 I have not had the product but a couple of months and only use it for about 15 minutes three times a month and it dies several times each time I use it. Blows as described, until it didn't May 22, 2016 Starts readily. The choke is reliable unlike the 14 inch Poulan chain saw. Reasonably light weight. Ok on the ears.Used about twelve times, all went well until Saturday August 19, 2017; After a single pop on the first pull, it refuses to ignite after multiple daily attempts to start the blower; With or without starter fluid applied to the air intake filter.Attempting to exercise the manufacture's warranty requires a $40 diagnostic fee when the problem is not covered under warranty, such ascarburetor/fuel issues. This is a significant risk for the repair of a $100 tool. So this blower is now trash. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 10% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 17% Not happy! April 19, 2017 I bought this blower in the fall of last year and used it a few times. Tried to use it this spring and it runs for about 30 seconds and quits. Not happy! The pistons looked fine no scoring anywhere January 25, 2017 This actually occurred back in October and I'm just getting around to writing this review. When I originally purchased this blower back in March 2016 it could be difficult to start at times. Because it always eventually started so I put up with it. Well back in October it wouldn't start at all. I took it to a military base's small engine repair shop. The repair shop said he couldn't find any specific reason why it wouldn't start. The pistons looked fine no scoring anywhere. Buildup seemed normal. Since it was still under warranty he was going to call Poulan for a replacement or return. Poulan/Husqvarna requested he send them photos. Repairman called a couple of days later and said Poulan/Husqvarna denied the warranty repair. He didn't understand it because the blower won't start and there's no physical damage of abuse. So I called Poulan/Husqvarna. The service guy made every exscuse in the world trying to say it had something to do with the type of gas I used to how I was mixing to much oil in it. He was an arrogant POS. I have a Generac Pressure washer, Ariens Riding Mower, Husqvarna ZeroTurn and Poulan push mower/weed-eater/chainsaw and none of them has a problem with the type of gas I use or mixing my oils. When I have to replace any of my equipment it will not be a Poulan/Husqvarna product. You can't stand behind your product you don't get my business. Puolan Pro gas blower not so good. July 15, 2016 The blower does not start without serious effort. It also stalls out at times. I'm seriously considering sending it back. Also Very Disappointed June 6, 2016 Saw somebody else write that their older Poulan Pro was much better. I agree completely. This newer 650 cfm 215mph blower doesn't have nearly as much power as the older model Poulan Pro BVM200VS 430cfm 200mph blower. Plus this PPB25 model vibrates so badly it makes my hand hurt after about 10 minutes of use. Don't know what Poulan was thinking. Guess that's why this model was less expensive than the refurbished old one??? My opinion: buy the older model or a different brand. Very disappointing. | 8% There are no reviews yet | 10% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
