Love it!
June 4, 2017
Love it!! This is an exceptionally well built blower! I have owned 5 or 6 gas powered blowers from different manufacturers and really tired of starting and keeping them running with the poor ethanol gas quality we all have to deal with anymore. The power of this blower and ease of use is a real treat and I no longer have to "plan when to use it in my yard chore duties" so I only have to "start it once to be sure it will keep running" until I am finished. I use it for general cleaning, particularly like it for cleaning the garage out. Like others have commented I was very concerned at the price point and still believe it is maybe $75 to $100 overpriced, but the performance and build quality have impressed me! Time will tell on durability and battery life? I bought the longer life battery and quick charger which I am very pleased with, under 90 minutes to complete a full charge when battery is down to about 50% charge. I do my yard touch up after mowing in about 20 minutes (I bag my grass) and I usually see less than 50% of the charge used. Packaging was quite good and the only "assembly" was plugging the battery in. Highly recommended!
Great

I did a lot of research, and talked too landscapers who usedthese products. With out exception all recommended this company.I love it and would recommend it.I intend to purchase other 40 Volt items.

Superb Tool
December 6, 2015
This blower resets the category entirely: it's powerful, well balanced, and substantially quieter than gas models. Battery life is surprisingly good, and many tasks can be accomplished at less than full output. As to volume level: at max power this unit sounds very much like a shop vac, meaning a decibel count well under what is produced by eardrum-lacerating two-stroke machines. Yes, the Oregon blower may seem a bit pricey. But if you've been using gas blowers for years, and gritting your teeth through each session, you'll thank yourself (and the manufacturer) every time you pick up this excellent tool.
Best blower in my experience of several other brands.

This blower functions much better than expected. It vastly superior to the competing "DEWALT DCBL790H1 40V MAX 6.0 Ah Lithium Ion XR Brushless Blower" (failed in a short time, very noisy). The Oregon blower noise is low enough not to require ear protection. I use this blower for clearing a large aircraft apron every day.
I can't believe how great this leaf blower is
October 20, 2015
I can't believe how great this leaf blower is. It's way more powerful than any of electric or gas blowers that I've had. I can clean leaves in front yard (approx. 50' by 50' grass, driveway and planters), back yard (50' by 100' grass, driveway and planters) without battery needing recharge. I bought extra battery just in case I might need it for extra heavy cleaning. It's a little heavy and using it on turbo really uses up battery buy is so powerful it doesn't take long to clean up both yards (about 3 times quicker than my old blower). I be leave the volume of air ( more than the speed) makes such a big difference.

Not as powerful as my back pack blower but I didn't expect it to be. It's great for medium jobs like blow drying my truck after washing it, etc.

The only thing I have against it is that the battery doesn't last very long.
Overall I'm pleased with my Oregon Blower
March 14, 2016
Overall I'm pleased with my Oregon Blower. My one minor complaint is that the product information stated that when fully charged the 40 volt battery would last 30 plus minutes...my unit when fully charged lasted about 22 to 25 minutes. Other than that its a very good and powerful blower...love the turbo feature!

It is great not to have gas fumes wafting up as I ...
February 28, 2017
The blower does have power that's fairly close to my Stihl 56 2-stroke machine. However,it does seem to "cut out";i.e. the power level oscillates.I've yet to call Oregon regarding this,I'll re-post after I do.It is great not to have gas fumes wafting up as I blow, and it does move debris fairly well;however,it's a stretch to call it "commercial grade".To me, it's a blower that should be priced between $150-$200,which would put it at a similar price point as a good gas powered handheld(i.e. Stihl,Echo.Husqvarna).Maybe I should have checked out Shindaiwa's new battery blower;$400 but has a 56 volt battery along with the fact that Shinny's been making commercial grade equipment for a long time.

It really blows but it would speed up and slow down constantly like the power fluctuated. Returned for a refund.
Dog-slow charger - after more than 2.5 hrs, light still blinking
February 21, 2016
I just got this Oregon cordless blower last week. I've used it four times since then. While I do not have any problem and the power seems comparable to the Ego 56V cordless blower that I have; however, the charge that comes with the 40v is such a dog. When battery is depleted, it takes more than 2hrs 20 mins, and not yet fully charge. Why it doesn't get shipped with the fast charger that they have, I just don't know and I think it's borderline stupid. Anyway, my Ego charges in no time compare to this much more expensive and dog-slow charger. Of course, if you have time in your hand to sit around for three hours waiting for the charge to continue your job then buy this; otherwise, insist upon the fast charger, (which I only read the reviews) and buy an Ego instead.

Worked 6 times for me....the 7th time it broke.
December 4, 2016
Over a period of 90 days I used the blower 6 times and the 7th time it completely stopped working. Still trying to find out how to return the thing.
Crappy Blower
October 21, 2016
I have owned this blower for 2.5 months and it has already stopped working ... ran fine for about 6 weeks ... then it started to sputter on and off. Now it will barely ever engage the motor and blow. Used it probably a total of 10 times ... I was trying to replace my gas operated Stihl blower with something easier that I wouldn't have to winterize ... it was a big mistake! I cannot return item because it's outside of the 30 day window ... $300 purchases should last longer than 2 or 3 months ... I only gave it a one star because it was required ... Zero is more appropriate!
NOT SO FAST....
October 12, 2016
I've purchased two of these and both have the same defect: does not maintain the speed selected. This has a variable speed trigger which is a nice idea. However, my units will not maintain a steady speed no matter what speed setting I choose,...even on the high /max setting. I've set the blower on a stable surface to eliminate any finger or hand wobble. But does not maintain a constant speed on low, medium or any speed. Have even changed out batteries & same thing happens. Have used partially charged and fully charged batteries,.... same result. If it's not happening to yours now it may later as the electronics that regulate speed control could give out later when out of warranty,,... which happened to me.For the price this is poor quality.Earns 1 stars at best.
