Five Star Reviews: | 63% Snow or Leaves can be used for May 21, 2017 Works great for leaves in the summer time, or in the winter time i used it to blow off the snow off my deck in Minnesota Love it. Very easy to start December 11, 2016 I've had this since this summer. Love it. Very easy to start. Prime it, and five pulls later its running. Very easy to pull too. Light, plenty of power. Really glad I went with this one because of where the air intake is. If you are going to hold it in your right hand this is the one you want. Not to loud ether. I have yet to use the attachments. Troy-Bilt is tough as nails October 31, 2016 I've never had a leaf blower before. So when I used to mow the grass I'd simply leave the grass clippings on my sidewalk. Now I can blow the snot out of leaves and grass clippings clear of my walkway and driveway and it throws leaves a very good distance. Very powerful leaf blower. I wish I would of ordered this Troy-Bilt years ago. I truly like it a lot. It's been great so far. Really nice September 3, 2016 I've had this for a few weeks now and must say its a really nice blower / vac. I've had many over the years, pretty much every brand out there and I think, so far anyway, this baby is my favorite. It's a power house no doubt, but it also seems extremely well designed and built. Some I've had are not really easy to use in vac mode. But this one is very ergonomic and easy to handle. In blower mode it's just a beast, the trigger throttle allows you to blow as soft or as hard as the situation dictates. The throttle cruise control is a very nice touch, I absolutely love this feature, set it to the speed you need and go. No finger fatigue. Is sounds silly but if you are out there awhile it can start to become an issue. Good Machine. November 6, 2015 Love this blower. Very light in weight yet very good power for moving leaves. I have had several blowers and this one is right up there.I highly recommend using the premixed fuel and not regular gas with oil additive. Ethel in the gas just destroys the engine in a few short years. Runs great. July 6, 2015 Runs great simple put together, I got the elec.start and this is the most easy starting, gas product ever, I also have the Troy-Built weed eaterand now I use the elec. starter on it also, should have bought the starter 2 years ago, what a differance, I use the canned fuel 40 to 1 mix,and no problems with this. | 86% There are no reviews yet | 71% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 16% Starts easy and runs good November 16, 2016 Starts easy and runs good. Has good power, but the vacuum attachment is a little bulky and hard to use. its more than okay product October 20, 2015 The dust fumes come out of the bag while you are running it and it goes into your throat...Bag position is also not suitable enough to hand it over your shoulder. I like the way it vaccuum leaves...It save your lot of time. Good but not best July 2, 2015 I've had a few blowers over the years. This has nice features such as the throttle hold, starter, easy prime. 170 mph can be a little weak and the mulcher is non existent. I'd be better off with a hitachi or tanakana Four Stars October 31, 2014 The blower function is great. It does a good job. The vacuum does a fair job, but is awkward. | 9% There are no reviews yet | 10% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 7% Does a very good job as a blower but using it to suck ... October 11, 2016 Does a very good job as a blower but using it to suck up leaves in not too good. You might say it sucks. And changing the attachments around to use for leaf pickup is not easy. You actually need to have someone hold the tubes as you turn them or clamp the blower in a vice to remove or install the tubes. Changing the tubes should not have to use a small screwdriver. Not an easy change over. Very dissatisfied with Troy-Bilt on this design. Tube attachment could be better, but a little duct tape cures all October 7, 2015 A bit wimpy compared to my other blowers, but then they fell apart. Bought this because of jump start system. Tube attachment could be better, but a little duct tape cures all. I like the jump start feature April 23, 2015 I purchase this unit for the vacuum. I like the jump start feature. However to use the vacuum with the jump start you must remove the vacuum tube to start the unit. While it is running then you attached the vacuum tube. This is a little dangerous. You would think they could put the jump start on the end of the unit and not on the side. Do not understand why this would be difficult. Some engineer designer went to sleep on this. The unit does vacuum leaves satisfactorily nothing super but it is tolerable and workable. We will see how it holds up long term I have troy units before, they last about two years to three years. | 3% There are no reviews yet | 6% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 7% It is a very good blower, but a poor vacuum April 22, 2017 It is a very good blower, but a poor vacuum. The screw that must be turned to unlock the blower tube attachment is made of cheap plastic. Mine is now stripped after only 2 uses. I would not recommend this product for those reasons. I regret my purchase. Leaf Suckers Suck April 9, 2017 Worked alright the first time. Quit starting the second day I used it. I'm a strong and mechanically capable person but can't get it going. I've only used it for vacuuming and I suspect dirt builds up around the impeller quickly making it impossible to start. Nothing is jammed in it but I think there is dirt built around it slowing the spin and keeping it from pull starting. So I suspect the quick start device it is made to work with is pretty much required to use it as a leaf vacuum. Very cheap gas blowers. January 11, 2017 I have bought this model three times during past three year and an another model twice because of electric start using Troy external jump starter. I could not find another brand that offer light weight with electric jump start. My wife and I are middle seventy and electric light wait jump stard was very important. This one when received would not start. Amazon overnight sent another one and told me to keep the blower for parts. The replacement lasted ten days before the pull portion broke the rope. Previous one I used for previous year became very hard to start when adding fuel. Almost impossible to stop gas cap from leaking when put back on the tank. This happen on three of the five troybuilt blower I have todate.I DO NOT RECCOMEND TROYBUILT PRODUCTS!! Same type problems for the last three gas string weed wackier troybuilt. I have another unit just like this, using it as blower and it works ... November 26, 2016 Ran 3-4 times and now the motor will not start even with the starter that I have. Cleaned the filter but still no go. When it ran, I would pull the trigger to full throttle and the motor would bog down so I am sure this is a carb problem. I was using this as a leaf vacuum and it really hurts in that function. I have another unit just like this, using it as blower and it works fine. | 1% There are no reviews yet | 3% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 7% Horrible product. Haven't been used a while year and blew up July 8, 2017 I haven't had this for longer then a while season and it popped and no longer works. Because 0 stars wasn't a viable option March 22, 2017 Requires extensive duct tape to secure attachments. Life span 7 minutes 14 seconds. Exceedingly worthless is an absolute overstatement regarding worthiness. The blowing power is the worst. You can get better blowing power from a ... December 31, 2015 I purchased this blower and it is not worth the money. The blowing power is the worst. You can get better blowing power from a 20 year old vacuum cleaner. I am very disappointed Vacuum funtion does not work September 12, 2013 The unit works fine as a blower. However, when converting to a vacuum, it does not work well at all. It clogged within 3 seconds of attempting to vacuum light leaves and grass. If you need to vacuum anything larger than the size of a quarter, buy something else. I watched the video on Troy-Bilt's website. They illustrated how to assemble it, but would only illustrate it operating in the blower mode. Most likely because they know it doesn't work well as a vacuum. | 1% There are no reviews yet | 10% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
