I am very impressed with this lens kit! These photos were taken using the macro lens on my IPhone 6s Plus. The lens even clips right around my Otterbox Defender case, for the front and back camera, so no need to take the case off to use it (which is a huge plus)! I have had many people come up to me and ask me about it when I am using it and many others complimenting the photos I've gotten with it. The lens has two caps that fit on each end to avoid scratches while not in use and it also comes with a small draw string carrying pouch. Kit arrived in just 2 days through my Amazon Prime. Great buy! Highly recommend!

This had been on my watchlist for a long time and I finally decided to purchase it. I received this last week (very fast shipping, by the way) :) I am in love with this camera lens. As soon as I got it, I couldn't stop taking pictures using the macro lens! haha It's that great. It is a bit expensive but it is totally worth it. I promise. I have bought a lot of camera lens before, from the ones you snap on the top of your phone, to a case with lens attached to it, you name it; but this is the only one that met all my expectations. The clip is also handy because I have a thick phone case and I have no problem clipping the lens on my phone. Overall, this lens is great if you like taking close-up pictures (it's sooooo fun!!) and if you like taking scenery pictures. This lens kit is very easy to use. I definitely recommend it.

Instantly fell in love with this lens system. The packaging is clean and sturdy and easy to open. The lens themselves feel very high quality and they were easy to assemble. The clip system is amazing and not as cumbersome as other magnetically attached lenses. I'm able to use it on my iPhone 5s with a Lifeproof Frē case on and the pictures still turn out great. Easy on, easy off. The pleather carrying case is also very attractive and handy, and it came with a surprise microfiber cloth to clean the lenses off with. I'm very impressed! Great price for a great item. Attached is a photo of a butterfly, the top I tried to take with no lens and the bottom is the same specimen at the same distance with the macro lens attached!

from my perspective I absolutely will recommend this Len to anyone who like iPhone photography. Believe it or not, only two out of all these photos I took I used iPhone version of Lightroom and intense the color a little more and the rest are original. I took the lens off for one of the photo just to have a little fun with it. The macro lens itself has one issue itself to me is that you have to focus it so close to get a sharp view of the item. I tried to pull it s little back but it blurred out.

Its actually two lens. Quality blew me away. The Clip is a hard plastic, but the Lens is some type of Anodized Aluminum. Threads are 37 mm Camcorder Standard on the Clip and the on the Lens. So Filters and other Lens will fit the Clip. It is easy to cross thread however so you do have to be very carefull!I wished they sold the Clip by itself so I could purchase spares.The Clip is the spring loaded "pincher" type of grabber. Maximum it can be spread is about 3/4" (about 19 mm) before over extending its jaw. It fits my Nexus 5 phone with a Rubber bumper case from GreatShield without a problem. The part that lands on your display has a plastic/rubber coating to protect it. A similar material is on the back of the Clip ring that you screw the Lens into. The friction of this material keeps it from slipping or sliding around. Positioning the Lens over the phones camera is totally manual, nothing to automatically center it for you. Mine is off to the side, so not having to fight with an auto positioner is nice.The Lens is a two part device, it comes fully assembled and screwed together, with a lens cover on the front and a screw on thread cover on the back. In the assembled configuration its a very clear wide angle 180 degrees of vision and a slight "fish eye" barrel distortion.Unscrewing the bottom lens with the Red Letters that say "Macro" reveals the top part comes off and you have a very short lens for close up photography. The threads that join the two Lenses together is metal.I believe 37 mm Lenses are the norm for Consumer/Prosumer Camcorders and they should fit the Clip plastic threads.. its not a long term thing since I'm sure it will wear out. The Lens however looks like they will last a good long while.I hope they consider coming out with a similar clip with metal threads at least on the ring, that would make it a lot more durable.Comes with a Vinyl or faux Leather bag and two Lens cloths.I haven't tried these in the field yet, but when its attached to my phone its basically heavier than the phone. I can't imagine leaving it on and taking pictures on the go.. definitely a stop, setup and shoot process.Also because of the extra weight, probably need a really sturdy 1/4-20 phone holder for steadying the picture. I looked at the RetiCam and really glad that I did.. its also made of an anodized aluminum and complements this nicely.Can't wait to get some real shots, and perhaps some video shoots through this while on vacation. It looks kinda clumsy but the quality of the Lens and the simplicity of how the Clip on thread adapter works leaves a lot of control in the hands of the user.Just wish I could buy more of those plastic Clips with the 37 mm thread.

I haven't used the camera a lot but so far I'm very impressed with the Samsung Camera app it will allow you to remotely use the viewfinder with your phone screen and allow you to take a picture with your phone It will also zoom using your phone. Of course your phone must have wifi but all phones have that anymore. This could be used as a remote spying camera if needed. Also the app allows easy transfer of pictures from camera to phone or from phone to camera. The NFC fea ture works well with my Samsung galaxy s5. Camera takes great photos as well. This is a review based on the refurbished unit. Just like new, no issues.

Since this camera was refurbished, I figured it would be dented or scratched, or scuffed in some way. I arrived just like new. It had all the things a brand new camera was supposed to have in the box. After I charged it up, I registered it online, and downloaded the Owners Manual - and there was a firmware update for the camera.I downloaded it directly into the camera with the cable connected to my laptop. Then I started to play around with the camera itself. The flash worked fine. The video function worked fine. I took it all over outside and took random photos. The screen was crisp and clear.I quickly learned what most of all the buttons were for by the second day, and the "viewfinder" on the big screen was different then my old camera. So once I got the hang of it - smooth sailing.In this case, refurbished doesn't mean "junk". I've pleased with my purchase, and can honestly recommend this camera to anyone else - as a beginner or intermediate picture taker.

Update:Replacement camera working just fine, incredible pictures and easy to use.Focus on long distance zoom does take some practice and patience, but expected with hand held shots not using tripod.FYI - the first unit came in bubble wrap without original camera box. But did have charger and all cables and small user guide. The replacement one came in original box and again with all accessories. So can expect when ordering might get original box, sometimes not.But camera itself seems good quality.Original Post:Waiting to see how return/replace goes. Out of the box kept giving the zoom lense error - you can google that. Returning for replacement. Otherwise, the two times it opened ok, worked well for handful of closeup and distance zoom test shots. Looking forward to having one that works!

Got this for my daughter as she wanted a good digital camera. Has a lot features and very easy to use even without the manual. Took me like two minutes and I showing her how to use different features. She did have a small complaint about the speed of the camera but said is wasn't that big of a deal.

I ordered the Samsung WB1100F in red for my trip to Cairo, Egypt in less than a week, My initial thoughts are as follows:I wanted a camera with wifi so I could post pictures on the run. I have a hotspot so wifi is always available. After opening the box and playing around with buttons I took my first picture. I have the cutest puppy in the world and I need to share her perfect face with the facebook world. I snapped the picture and went to task to post the picture asap! (I hate instruction books) so I fumbled my way through the setup process. I have to say it went rather well. I personally find the camera intuitive. I was setup and logged in to facebook in just a few short minutes. Then BAM! My picture was posted for the world to see.The picture itself was awesome. The zoom is very good and the lens picked up all the adorable features of Chi Chi's face.Again this is just a quick one off review. Traveling around Cairo, Giza and Alexandria there are endless opportunities to be a shutterbug! I am a novice when it comes to taking pictures but the Samsung WB1100F made me feel like the next Ansel Adams!The wifi feature (which I thought I had to have) is an excellent gadget but not always practical when using. It can be very slow. I can say it was not the WIFI connection because I was using WIFI for other things at different times. However I am glad to have the option because I did use it from time to time.There are many settings and I'm still learning the pros and cons of each one. The Samsung feels VERY comfortable in my hand as I'm taking pictures. The battery life was good overall but I will buy an additional backup battery. (just because I want it, the Samsung never died one me during my 8-10 hour days out and about shooting photos)Again I LOVE the camera! I love Egypt! I love Egypt so much in fact I am returning July 3 for a week but this time for real R&R but I will have my Samsung WB1100F in hand for some amazing sunsets and great history!

This a great lens for my iPhone7. I have used both lenses for photo and video and the quality is great. I can't believe how high quality they are for the price. Clips on nicely and hasn't left any marks on my phone. I've used with my Otterbix case and without, both have good quality.

This is a nice quality lens for the price and easily clips onto any phone + case. I bought it for my teenage son for a Christmas gift and he loves it. Pictures are clear and nice. I will say that it gives a pretty significant fishbowl distortion factor though. The tighter the space you are trying to capture, the worse it appears. For a wider pano (like a room full of people), it does way better. The macro side is impressive. I might be in for buying a couple more of these if I can find different types of lenses.

There is a learning curve to using an iPhone camera and then another learning curve to get the most out of the Techo lens. On the whole I've been happy with the lens. It feels robust; it's easy to clip on the iPhone in its case and does not seem to require too much precision in where to fix it (which may be a sign of inexpert use). Both wide angle and macro lenses make a noticeable, positive difference to the image, without having a dramatic effect. In retrospect I would have waited until I had gained greater proficiency with the iPhone camera before adding specialist lenses, but I am perfectly happy with what I got.

Bought this for my wife as a Christmas present. She loves taking pictures on her phone and I don't want to buy an expensive camera so hey we both won. The wide angle lens does have a fish bowl effect but it's slight. With the right angle and positioning you wouldn't even notice it. The macro is definitely a macro lens that's for sure. I haven't really played with it outside of trying it out the first time so I can't really say much on it. It does seem to benefit close ups of things like flowers and what not but not sure if it would be great for anything other than that. I did read reviews before I bought this so it was expected. Still a great product though.

I use this all the time to take extreme close ups for my online auctions. It's come in handy so many times. Don't expect professional quality macro images. There a lot of bend at the edges and you have to be 1-3 inches away from the object to achieve a sharp focus.

Quality is great. It does fit a nexus 6 fine without a case, but it does have to be adjusted to get it "just right" so that there are no dark edges on the corners of the pictures especially when using the wide angle lens. Also note that when using the macro lens, there is some loss of quality at the bottom of the picture (see the pictures I posted - it is blurry at the bottom right). It is a little large/heavy compared to other clip on lenses, but it is also of better quality.

This is a good, practical camera for those just starting out in photography or persons who don't need anyrhung too high tech. It takes good, clear pictures both at night and in the daytime. It really helps if you know what modes to select based on your environment and if you know about white balance, aperture etc. However, the auto mode works fairly well if you don't know about all of that. The best feature of this camera in my opinion is the lens. The zoom is great. Usually when you take zoomed in pictures, they tend to be of low quality, highlt pixelated and distorted but this rarely happens with this camera. It is good for wildlife photography, especially if you are photographing a particularly fidgety subject as it has a sport settung which is good for capturing fast moving things. Like I said, this is a good starter camera and great for practical learning.

I bought this camera for my mom's birthday. She's always wanted a good DSLR camera, and this one didn't disappoint. It takes great photos with plenty of natural light displayed in the photos. The processing is spot on, both mechanical and digital. She hasn't really used it during the evening, but she has used her flash and it's fantastic. A little bright at times but it's a flash, so what are ya gonna do?The only problem with this camera is the battery. Each time the camera's done charging the camera won't turn on. I have to take out the battery and reinsert it so the camera would at least power on. It's done this since first boot. The battery life isn't that good either. It says that you can take like 400 photos before the camera turns off. She's experienced like 150 to 200 photos before it turns off. There was also no setup process. I don't know if that's an issue or not, but my mom thought there was something wrong with it when she noticed.But with all that aside, it's a good camera if you're just starting out in the DSLR game. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a decent camera that's not too expensive but still takes great photos.

I have taken some nice pictures with this but I'm disappointed it isn't a little better. I recommend a tripod for long range pictures or some place to steady the camera. However I have taken some nice clear shots from quite a distance just sitting it on a fence. Nice light weight and Its very easy to transfer photos from the camera to FACEBOOK or emails or to my smart phone. A very nice feature.

Love this camera. Easy to use. Emailed pictures using the WiFi. The zoom is just what I needed for close ups. I have also used the video for a graduation. The video quality was good but it did drain the battery quite a bit. I was not able to video the full graduation. I am very happy with this purchase.

I wish the instructions had words in them. Other than that I like it. Went to try it out at the zoo. Nice pictures. Pleased with the quality of the pictures.

Impressive !! I didn't expect too much from a $ 180.00 camera, but it surprised me. Its lite in weight & it takes very good pictures. Its great !!

I gave it to a friend since I had to remove my phone from the protective case to use it. It could strictly be user error since no instructions were included with it.

So the camera fit great on my iPhone. The quality of the picture was not much of a difference. It gave a slightly wider angle. Similar to a fishbowl picture. The company was very helpful and refunded my money promptly. Make note, the description does not say zoom. Even up close objects aren't much better quality pictures than my phone without the attachement. It makes a slight difference, but to me, it's not much of a difference that I'd carry the lenses around with me. That just me though

The lens is different than I expected. I didn't notice a huge difference between using it and not using it - except for the fisheye lens.

It does its intended job. HOWEVER, the clip ring that holds the lens is TOO FLIMSY and it broke after one use at a marathon event.If you're a casual user for stupid still photography and don't do training type videos where there is a lot of movement of your phone, it will be okay.the clip will slide off if you're not careful on the placement and if your phone experiences a lot of movement.I was given a replacement so it's fine they remedied the situation.

Rather disappointed. I am an amateur photographer, and use a 35 mm, with prime lenses.But I take a lot of pictures with my iphone. I have used a number of iphone attachment lenses, including lensbaby. I was not impressed with the quality of the pics taken with this clip on lens. The MACRO is OK , but I would not buy again. Probably OK for someone who isn't used to high quality lenses. Fun for those who just want to experiment.

Bought this as well as the Ollo Clip olloclip 4-IN-1 for iPhone 6/6 Plus and 6s/6s Plus Silver Lens/Black Clip OCEU-IPH6-FW2M-SB to compare and the Ollo clip was far better and is what i kept. Though if you're more price sensitive, this is a good option for the price.

This camera takes great pictures and video but does not auto focus when zooming in and out. This makes the zoom feature difficult to work with. I am self learning the use of this camera. I have a Panasonic Lumix compact that does auto focus with the zoom feature. For the price I paid for this camera it is still worth it.

Takes decent pics as long as the lighting is perfect. In low lighting situations, the flash actually makes the picture turn out darker.

The camera is too "smart" constantly adjusting...I need to read and look up youtube demos. Some of the flash photos have a bit of red in the color. It is heaver than expected and cannot be concealed at concerts...OK (sue me) anyway the dog doesn't mind the flash.

Great picture quality. However, for fast pictures, the camera takes a second, sometimes two to click. This was problematic when shooting wildlife.

I bought this camera because the reviews for it were so amazing. I was pretty disappointed though. First of all the zoom function broke on my second use. I had to send it back to Samsung to get it fixed. They fixed it fairly quickly. Once the zoom was fixed it does zoom in pretty far and takes decent pictures when zoomed in pretty far. I dont like trying to navigate through the different functions Trying to find the best shoot mode. The panoramic photo option is pretty cool but most times my phobe takes better pictures than the camera

Not all it should be. Coloration is off and has to be reset constantly. When it's working correctly, it takes great pictures. Unfortunately, that's only about 50% of the time. Can't really recommend it.

Really does not give a good image. Packed them away after a month of use. They are going up in the garage sale next month.

It's well built but I've been getting some blue halo distortions on objects around edges. The glass on this isn't the best quality. It's ok for simple things, perhaps close ups, but beware objects will have some pixel halo distortions.

Should have read the description closer. The clip effects the touch screen and does not fit well with the LG phones.

I purchased this item for better quality live video streaming from my phone. I planned to use the wide angle lens, because this was purchased for my business I was very selective. This item was not packaged as advertised in a box or with the brand name on the lens. Mine also can with multiple different item barcodes one on top of the other. When I found out it was a non returnable item I was pretty upset but Amazon took care of it.As far as the lenses go. They work ok with my iPhone 6s+ I do have to zoom in to get rid of the lens in my photos but other than that the quality matches it's price. The true techo lens is larger and in a video review I watch this was not a problem, no zoom required.Just be warned I did not purchase what was advertised. If not for amazons great customer service I would be giving 1 star.

The lenses are huge compared to my iPhone 7. Used the macro and it was blurry...used the wide angle and it just distorted the image a little bit. I took two photos one with and one without and my brother couldn't see much of a difference. I could create the same effect with an app.

I really wanted to love this product. I like the lens part of the camera because it attaches very easily on to my iPhone and the pictures come out pretty good quality. However, after a couple of uses, the circular part that secures the lens to the clip cracked due to the flimsy material and is now unusable. I read in other reviews that this might happen, but I thought I would take a chance and try it out because of the good price. Don't waste your time or your $25.

Very poor clarity. Went on a 25 mile hike in Glacier National Park. My friends used their smart phones and the pictures are significantly clearer with many more shooting options. Difficult to get moving photos (water, lots of bodies of water there) even after playing with the settings. Also when camera was zoomed it would just shut off when capture button was pressed. Very upset so much money was wasted when I could of just paid for a phone upgrade which would have also been lighter to pack in addition to my 50lb backpack.

Thought it was gonna be better

As the owner of a Samsung Galaxy 2 camera-EKGC-200, and a Nikon P600, we wanted a camera in the middle zoom range. We used this camera for a few dozen pictures and were totally displeased with the weight, balance and image quality. I would not buy this camera. The image quality of the Nikon and Samsung Galaxy 2 cameras are FAR superior to this one.

Not sure why this camera has such great reviews. Quality of the pictures was not great at all. Colors aren't bright enough and images are not as sharp as you would expect. My old Galaxy S-III smart phone makes better quality pictures. Returned this camera after couple of days.

The shutter speed on this camera is very slooooooow. Even when I press the speed control button and the shutter down, the picture is not captured immediately. When you are taking a picture of a toddler that is squirmy, the moment needs to be captured quickly. I somewhat solved this problem by using the Smart mode ACTION/SPORT setting.If you are trying to take pictures indoors, do not use the auto setting or flash. All faces will be washed out and flooded with light. Try a Smart setting instead.

This camera is not that great. Even using a tripod it takes blurry pictures sometimes. It's not that easy to figure out either since it comes with no manual and you have to download it if you want it. By the way it's about 170 pages.

No real improvement in image quality at all. Definitely not what I was looking and paying for in a so-called quality lens. Plus I must have gotten a returned lens or refurbished lens because the package has GREASE stains on it. No lens cloth or nothing! This lens couldn't help Ray Charles if he could see.

Turn your mobile into DSLR Camera easily."having it in hand right now, i can assure you that there is no way this thing is going to support anything with a 37mm thread. the lenses they supply are about half that--i'm not wasting the time to go back and measure. i actually had no need for the lenses, i just wanted to mount a 37mm anamorphic lens using the clip, but that obviously isn't going to happen.i did try to mount the wide-angle lens onto my iphone7+ and the first thing i noticed is that the clip is flimsy and won't stay in one place. i did manage to get it aligned over the wide lens on the iphone and it was about 50% distortion and if you moved the camera at all, the clip would move the lens. you could crop out the center portion of the image, but then you've just defeated the purpose of having a wide-angle lens. i did try it over the telephoto lens and in that instance the image came out about the same as if you'd used the wide iphone lens to begin with. i didn't bother testing the macro lens.all-in-all, ironically i'm happy it didn't support a 37mm lens as it would have been way too heavy and i wouldn't have been happy if my expensive new lens fell off. a puzzling bit about all this is that the company who makes the 37mm anamorphic lens said some people were using this, but i can't explain that unless techo sent me the wrong one or the other one they offer is the one people are using. hopefully my 3d-printed iphone mount for the lens will be in shortly--the only reason i got this was for preliminary testing and i didn't expect the other mount to ship as soon as it did, or i wouldn't have bothered. /guy

I just got the package. And Clip and camera apart do not connect. Even though i turn it all the way they keep falling off. Can you please replace it with new one.

I don't hate the product but it's not good enough for me to have used it over and over. I thought I was going to get a lot of use out of it because it's so portable and the idea of it is great, but the pictures were not as good as I was expecting. I have an I phone 6S plus and it takes pictures just as good with or without the lens. if anything the lens adds too much of the fisheye effect. The clip is too large and chunky, that it covers up a part of my screen on top of my phone where the flash on and off button is so it makes it very inconvenient if I'm quickly trying to get to the flash setting. BUT it fits very awkwardly over the phone case… And I've had several different phone cases and they are not chunky. So it doesn't fit properly around a phone case and it does not stay stable on the phone. I purchased several of them for my family because I thought it would be good since it had good ratings, but none of us are really crazy about it and don't use it as much as we hoped. The only reason why I haven't returned it, is because I don't have time and it's kind of a hassle.

Ended up returning this item. Very disappointed in the "quality" of the photos taken. No enhancement and it was not worth the money.

Most shots taken had faint but visible rings on them, which I guess was a reflection of the lens. Unusable.

Bought this camera and never get to use. A waste of money. Picture quality is poor and blur.

Upon getting this camera, I immediately took a couple pictures in my living room and there was a magenta stripe that showed up on the right side of the images. I know this product is refurbished, but my expectation is that their quality control process would catch such an egregious defect.

Horrible quality. The pictures are terrible in resolution even at the "best" quality setting. Also the picture takes about 2-3 seconds to snap after pressing the button so useless unless you are trying to capture something very, very still.Asking for a refund. Garbage.

Wifi connection not a good as the WB250 OR WB 350, will not direct link with the computer but does great job linking to my I-phone to use as a remote shutter release. I wore out my WB250 over 2 years of constant use, however I do not think this WB1100 is going to outlast the WB250. I started getting flash and white out on the display screen, the WB1100 is starting to show a similar screen white out and I've only had it for 2 months. I have a feeling that the unit which was reconditioned and certified by olympus was not fully certified. I have not notified the company that sold the unit, I don't think it is their fault however I wish I had spent $30.00 more to get the WB350 OR WB360 model, My wife has the WB350 and it is great. I wanted the long some on the WB1100. As a follow up to my original posting. The camera is not holding up! The LCD display on the rear of the camera is streaking and washing out. There are times I can't even see the what is in the view finder. I have actually had to go out and purchase a new camera that I can depend on. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Refurbished is not a chance worth taking.1-20-16. To give the final review. The camera died, $149.00 wasted. The only good thing is I purchased a WB350 for $79.00 brand new! Shop around for new, skip the refurbished.

fell in love with the camera till the battery and the 2 additional batteries I bought will not hold a charge. I have not had the camera long and now I cannot take a photo with it. Camera always says the battery is not charged. Quit working during a bridal shower for my best friend. Very upsetting
