Overall this package was well worth it for the price. I give it 5 stars, but with caution. You must know what you are getting. I can go down the street and buy the exact camera and lens for only $40 cheaper before tax. I have had this for about a month and used it several times. So if you look at all the extra stuff you get for $40 how can some people complain that it may not be the highest quality? You get what you pay for and here you get a little bit more. Some reviews I read seem to slam the whole package because they didn’t like one or two pieces. Others seem to be overly excited but offer no real insight. I try and stay objective as I can with the review below. I got what I expected because I pieced together what everyone else wrote in his or her reviews. I was actually expecting a piece to be missing or not work. Unlike others, I did, in fact, get everything!Canon Camera – seems to work so far.Canon Lens – Works, but definitely cheaper than the exact same lens we have from our XS model. The lens seems to clunk when it is fully extended if you point the camera down from a level position. Our other one of the exact same type does not do that. Neither do any of our other lenses. The lens works fine so far, but not sure about the test of time. I suspect if I am careful, it will last. I usually am, so I am not too concerned.Polaroid Flash Kit – Flash and batteries work fine. It looks like this had been used before since there was a scuff mark on the back, but seems to technically work fine. The external bracket eludes me. I am not sure how you are supposed to use that. I think you put one end in the camera and the other is where you mount the flash. This way you can put the light closer to the object you are shooting. This flash will only give you some extra options than without it and maybe a little more lighting. I am using this to learn how to get used to setting the flash settings, but as far as quality goes I can already see I will need a better one soon. I consider this to be a freebie item.SD Cards – 8GB and 32GB work fine so far and comes with a nice case.Level – Flash attachment level. This in my opinion is one of the best items to go with the camera! It solves the tripod level problem for one and can be used anywhere to setup. it is small and extremely useful.Cleaning Kit – Assuming it works – Have not opened it yet.Screen protector – Works although my mastery of getting these to fit the correct item always misses 'Mini Tripod – Works great when camera is to be level. Once you start to tilt it will become more and more prone to falling over. You have to get crafty to keep it from falling. Make sure to have your hand supporting it until you figure out how to lock and balance it. I am wondering where I can get mini- sandbags.57” Tripod – Just what I expected, minus the grease. Light and a little cheap, but has a lot of functionality. A hint on how to use the levels on the tripod for some who mentioned they do not work. The bigger horizontal level seems useless when camera is on, but you can use that for initial set up and the smaller one to fine-tune it after. Or you can just use the one included in the package that attaches to your flash slot and you are all set.Polaroid Wide Angle and Telephoto – Both do what I expected. I was not expecting a lot from what I read in the reviews. You shouldn’t either. However, I still think it is a decent enough deal if you are not expecting a lot. I personally love the little pouches for them and wish I had those for my other lenses.I would like to note the Wide Angel not only had grease (again with the grease) and fingerprints but sand. I think Polaroid is refurbishing this, as the telephoto seemed to be brand new. I was momentarily pissed until I remembered the deal I had gotten and I was fine within a few seconds. I was able to clean the wide-angle lens up and it works fine. I just had to be very careful getting the sand out. The bags and rings seemed to be new too. I can’t comment on the rings included, because I had nothing to test them with.The telephoto I will probably never use because I have other lenses. It did work, but I also think the telephoto falls short of its specifications. The wide angle I may use for desired effects shot. It is by all means not a professional wide-angle lens. If you need one then you should go pay money for a decent one. However, I am new so having fun with this will let me know what I should look for and what I want later.These are both a real pain to connect to the lens and you have to be very patient to thread them correctly. Most filters are like this too. Practice makes perfect.Polaroid Lens Filter and Case- Case is very nice. All 4 filters were included. I used the polarized one and worked fine for me. I took shots without it and then with it. It certainly cut the glare down on a shiny engine I was taking pictures of. I probably won’t use two of them and the other conditions have been in need for it yet.Ritz Camera OTG/USB Multifunction Card Reader – SD card reader to USB worked fine. I didn’t test the rest. – I want to suggest they get a little bag/case or some sort of protector to keep dust from getting in it. I am using the plastic packaging for now until I find something that works with it.Ritz Camera – Camera Bag – Yes, it is small, but you can put the camera and two lenses (or even 3 if you have one attached and they are the right sizes) in it plus whatever you want in the two side pouches and the front zippered part. I think for the size, it is a great light, little bag. Will you need another bag? Maybe. This is a well thought out bag and I think people complained far too much about it in the reviews. I have another bag that is bigger and holds a lot of stuff, but I never walk around with it on my shoulder. This you can. I also think this one is built pretty sturdy because it uses zippers, unlike my other bag. The clasps broke on that one and now I have to hold it like it is a crystal ball.Lens Cap Strap – I am not opening this. I don’t like them, just a personal choice. I have enough problems with the camera strap ;)

Its WONDERFUL camera!!!!!!I bought this camera as a temporary replacement to the canon 7d which is broken and repair in Russia, no one can, no masters to these cameras.At that time, until my 7d flew to the US and there repaired, I bought on Amazon Rebel T5. The camera was so amazing that, in principle, I do not really need refurbished 7d.Plus, this camera: weightless, the hand does not get tired to work with it !! With a good lens (Tamron 16-300) makes incredible quality photo !! Very quickly, making a series of photos. Normally it works in low light. Accessories of excellent quality, although not branded. Very adequate price for such a gorgeous set, in Russia it would cost exactly 2 times more expensive !!In general , I am very pleased with the camera and a set of accessories , I have received much more quality than expected to get at this price !!I enclose a photo taken on the camera :

I was hesitant to buy this item because of all the negative reviews stating that they didn't get what was in picture. I bought my kit through ritz camera, it was less expensive than other sellers and everything was Polaroid brand.

Even though my package came a day late, everything in the photo was given with the Polaroid name brand and such. T5 is an awesome camera and great deal. Camera back is small though but isn't a problem because I had a different one I planned on using anyway.

The best purchased I made thru Amazon and I'm not an expert on cameras but I feel such a pro using this camera. Already bought canvas that I've took and looks professional.

i enjoy this camera even though i'm still learning all of my functions. i don't quite care for the camera bag. it came with a software/instruction manual that was lost because the top of the camera bag only clips together and doesn't zip. i requested a new manual and was very disastisfied, because canon only reshipped me a generic tiny job that they insisted was now extinct:(

I was surprised that my camera came so quickly and well packed. I have only had the camera for a couple of days now and learning how to use this digital camera. The pros of this is the quality of the camera, lens, filters are top notch. The little tripod dose hold up the camera surprisingly will Cons, the large tripod,well I say just buy one that is a lot struder that the that comes with this package as well as the flash unit (cheap). and the bag is ok but it cannot hold all your lens, camera and all your accessory beside those three things is the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. For the price for the camera package you can't beat it you get everything you need for someone who is a beginner in digital photography. The books that come with it are very helpful and helps you understand the different setting for taking different types pitchers (good reading ).if you ask would i recommend this product to someone I would say yes (for the price and quality of this camera kit), but I need more time and research in playing and using this camera. :-)

After reading the previous posts and ratings I still decided to purchase this bundle. To be frank there is nothing I would say as a professional photographer that is below standard. The camera is imaculent, the lenses perfect and yes seem parts are Polaroid BUT having used nikon, Polaroid and Canon there is no reason to fret. Everything works up to par and works seamlessly together. Good product and a great starter kit for a first time user. I bought this for my mom who is new to the photo world and it is so user friendly

It's a great camera, thought I am sad to say that neither the polaroid filters nor the memory card wallet were sent to me.

Ad shows Ritz Cameras but seller is actually Global Distributors. Canon camera & lens in bundle were fine and at a good price. Materials in bundle were not by manufacturer pictured - low quality. Advertised 57" tripod, delivered 50" tripod. Mini tripod was not as shown but a snap together sold in stores for pocket cams. Spend a few $ more and get better bundle.

I am a photography novice, and like other reviewers, I am loving the camera itself, but very disappointed by the accessories. I am especially disappointed that the wireless infared remote included in the bundle is not even compatible with this camera. Now I will have to go out an purchase a remote separately despite opting for a complete accessory bundle.

The camera came when it was supposed to and was packaged well. However, the wide angle lens and the telephoto lenses did not fit the camera.

I bought this for my photography class and most of the items in the box. There were just a few things I haven't used or didn't need to use yet. The most disappointing things were the cleaning kit. The blower actually caused more lint in my view finder and sensor. Thankfully, my instructor didn't take off points for it, but the particles were a nuisance. I ended up using my glasses cleaner and a cotton swab to clean the view finder and sensor (very carefully). The tripod was kind of small. So I only used it for my indoor photo projects. The bag is okay (it has removable dividers), but could've been a little bit wider. I tried using the extra lenses for a couple of my assignments, but didn't really have much use for them (they don't provide any extended range). Overall, it was worth the purchase because of the camera and battery (although I had to buy another as a backup).

The Canon EOS and the lenses that come with it are great. The flash attachment did not fit the flash shoe and after hassling with the company in Brooklyn, NY that sold this hodgepodge, I never got a replacement for the flash, that did not fit to begin with. I ended up having to buy another attachment from a camera shop, which offered a lot more flexibility and works well for shooting in low-light interiors. The other lenses that are included are worthless. The bag is okay, but not big enough to hold more that a couple of lens and the camera. Seems like an awfully big camera case to hold so little. Not a well designed camera case. Zippers stick, as well. They should be giving you a 64gig storage card rather than a 16gig and an 8gig. Do these guys ever shoot photos? Tripods are useless and whatever else they throw in is useless, as well. Save your money and just buy the basic Canon camera and the lenses that come with it. You've got enough junk in your closet!

Remote supplied in package is not compatible with the camera not sure why it was in there other than to mislead . Flash included is junk and not Polaroid as pictured has no name , neither are the tripods pictured they are xti and bowers . The wide angle and telephoto extenders are not polariod but vivitar good but not as pictured . Filters are not Polaroid and only got all clear not the shaded as pictured . Other than that I am happy thus far .

Like the camera and lenses. Typical Canon quality but the rest of the items are very cheap. The case is to small to hold the equipment in the kit and the flash is such low quality as to be considered junk quality but it works. Best deal would have been to purchase the camera, filters and lenses and leave the other stuff on the shelf. You are paying for a bunch of stuff that is low quality. Recommend the camera and lenses. purchase them separately and then buy any other items needed individually.

Just received the package. The camera is what I wanted and expected. All the rest is not made by Canon or Polaroid, seems much cheaper. I'm a little disappointed with that. It doesn't match what's written here. Getting this bundle from Canon was a difference of only $40, I might have made a different decision knowing what I'm really gonna get.

The camera was received packed well and in great working order. It says it comes with 2 Saturdays cards, however we only received an 8g SD card.

The camera package was a great deal unfortunately after only 2 days the camera stopped working and I had to ship back. The return was nice bc I didn't have to pay for shipping and I got my refund in less than a week.

I was very disapointed to find after receiving the package that outside of the Canon T5 camera and 75-300mm canon len everything else was from Polaroid accessories which the flash isnt compatible which i couldnt use. Very disapointing because i had to spend an extra 100 for a flash on Amazon. I returned the entire package.

The cheap tripod, that came with the kit, isn't sturdy enough to support a DSLR camera with a wide angle lens.. and forget about 70/300 zoom lens. Many of the other items, included with the package are bottom rung, cheap accessories. Having spent $700, including warranty, I would think that the kit would have provided better quality items than were presented. I understand that the camera is an entry level item, for beginning photographers,, however, that shouldn't mean that it come with less than stellar kit items.

bought this kit a month back... love the camera because thats canon but the rest is cheap plastic.i did not get two transcend cards,i received one that was scandisk 32 gb and the other was a no label china 8gb card. the mini tripod was ughh cheap plastic, not like the one in the picture. the camera bag was not the same as in the picture and neither was the cleaning kit... im just wondering whether i paid that amount for the camera alone. if i had known that i was going to be swindled by this seller, i would not have made this purchase!

Unusable 18-55 lens. Lens cap impacted into lens on arrival and was a gift. Do not know how to return of talk to.

RETURNING THIS!! RITZ CAMERA LIED to me. i went through all the things they told me to do. Called Canon back and they told me it is up to RITZ to replace my defective item. Ritz tells me it up to Canon. I got a hold of Amazon and even WOULD NOT HELP ME! this is the worst experience I've EVER had to go through with this bull Sh**. I wish I could give negative stars.... thats okay though. I'm taking the $551.15 that I AM getting back elsewhere.UPDATE:Just heard back from RITZ. They informed me the battery came from Canon. they also gave me their number to get in contact with them.The service from Canon was very nice. told me my problem could be either the charger or battery and gave me some tips on how to check. If the problem still persists I will be calling back, and they said they will fix it and send it back once they have the chance to figure out what exactly is wrong with it. If my problem is resolved and the camera works like it should I will come back and give a new review and 5 stars./******************************************************************************************Just got this yesterday. Everything I got was as pictured. It was all either cannon or Polaroid. BUT my camera WILL NOT TURN ON! The battery has been on the charger for over 18 hours and still isn't charged so I can't even use it. I must say I'm pretty pissed that I've spent this much money for a DEFECTIVE product. I have contacted the seller. Now just waiting to here something back.

THE CAMERA DOESN'T WORK. I HAD MY PREVIOUS CANON FOR 7 YEARS AND NEVER A PROBLEM. WE TOOK THIS CAMERA FOR OUR FIRST OUTING AND NOTHING. THE DISPLAY DOESN'T WORK WHAT SO EVER. THE WHOLE CAMERA STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX IS BROKEN

Very unsatisfied! Ordered product according to description listed and received the correct camera but all the accessories were generic and not what is pictured. Company made no attempt to send me the correct items. Told me sorry for confusion and sent me a free return label.

Fast delivery and most of the items works as they should but the promotional picture its a lie. I got a different items brand (a cheaper brand btw). Plus the wireless remote doesnt work.
