Needed these for our employees who wanted a second computer monitor. Did the trick and at a much lower price than those sold by our usual vendor. Five for the price of one.

I bought this cable to attach my new computer cup to my older monitor. He cable worked fine, shipped quickly and was reasonably priced.

If you're reading this then you're probably wondering if this cable is actual quality. Well, It actually is, (surprising right!) I'm only kidding ;) I'm talking about the price point, a lot of these cables serve the same purpose yet they are double even triple the price of this one but this one works just like any other, I'm very satisfied.

It’s definitely a DVI cable. So far I have had absolutely no problems, it was just as simple as unwrap, plug, and play. The cable came with some plugs on the ends to protect the pins, which I really appreciated. In fact if I every have to store the cable those plugs will really come in handy. Overall it’s cheap and it works.

Basically, it's a really cheap cable, much cheaper than you would find in any store plus it has the convenience of free shipping. I recently built my own computer and this is the cable I used to connect my ViewSonic screen to a Sapphire graphics card on an Asus motherboard. Basically, you don't have to have a Dell to use this cable, since DVI cables are universal. So don't pay more for a cable made by your brand, cheap and convenient will do you just fine.

It was as long as it was supposed to be and it works as expected. Don't forget to restart your computer before assuming it's not working. Just sayin'...

This cable has the best ratio between price and average review (excluding Amazon's add-on option.) It has worked perfectly for the last 2 weeks. I currently have it connecting a second monitor to my GPU and have encountered no problems with the display. The cable construction is solid, the cord is thick and supple, the pins are all straight. The screw-locks are a bit stiff, but I suppose that's better than a bit loose. For $7, I am very satisfied with what I got.

I run a computer training company. We have 10 seats with 2 monitors at each so I ordered 2 of these for every computer and have not had a single problem with any of them. We constantly unplug and plug them in when doing different classroom configurations and I would purchase these again if I needed them for any other system without any regrets.

Works good with my 24 inch hp hd monitor. playing games like, Tomb Raider, BF4, DA Inquisition, Black Ops II and playing at high setting. Looks great, cant tells much of a difference from hdmi using human eye but hdmi better in bench test. So dont worry, your human eye cant tell the diff. I know i just pissed off the serious gamers and fan boys but its the truth.

I got a call to hook up a computer and was told they had everything they needed for me to hook up and set up the computer. Well that was mostly true. Since they didn't know to much about computers they didn't know about all the different ways to hook up the video connection. The monitor they had only supported dvi and vga connections. So they had a new custom computer and an earlier LCD monitor. They also had a dual videocard set up with many hdmi ports to utilize and a couple dvi ports. However, the computer had a Motherboard in it that had no on board video. Not really a surprise but since I was told they had everything I had assumed they had cables for the videocards. Well I was wrong. So I explained what they were missing and pulled up amazon on my phone. I aslo explained that if I went to a store, such as Best Buy or Radio Shack, that they would charge me a ridiculous price for the cable they needed. After I showed them proof, I ordered this cable and went home.It arrived quickly and worked perfectly. I plan on buying a few more in the future. I was pleased and so were they. Great deal!

I wanted to connect my Thinkpad T61 dock to my monitor, preferably via a digital signal. This very generic DVI cable did the trick. It seemed to fit in the monitor just fine, but the tight DVI port on my dock didn't willingly accept it. I had to put it in at a slight angle and the straighten in, which implies the pins aren't perfectly alligned. And I don't know if that's an issue with the dock or the cable. Given the quality of the dock, I'd expect the cable, but I really don't know or sure.Regardless, the cable works well enough now that it is connected, no other issues! So for a DVI cable that's cheap to buy, this works very well!

First time using DVI cable. This cable type was recommended for use with the new monitor I purchased and, since my PC has the White DVI connector, I bought the cable. The DVI connection is supposed to be superior to the Blue-end connction calbles.

Item was as described. However, minus 1 star because it is not the best of quality and a bit overpriced. We've actually bought better - and cheaper - at Microcenter, however, we could not take the drive down to Dallas and needed it quickly (seems they are always working on the highway).No issues with the seller however, the cable does what its designed to do and yes, it does it well, but you can tell its built cheaply. If you are looking for a plain, basic, quick fix, this may suit you. OR, perhaps head over to your local Goodwill and you will almost certainly find a cable there for $2 or less.

I gave it 4 stars. Its a nice cable, but its just a cable. It does cable things well. Not enough for me to "love it", but well enough for me to like it. Highly recommended.

I purchased this to replace a buggy cable that was causing one of my monitors to not detect and, consequently, a world of problems. This took care of it, but I do recall that the plastic casing around the head was a little thick, which made it difficult to plug in to the back of my monitor. I actually had to shave off some of the plastic to get it in there. Just bear in mind that if you have some space constraints, you may want to look for a slimmer profile than this one. But otherwise it's working flawlessly.

Overall they seem to be great. Fast data transfer between PC and Monitor. No observable issues with the image quality. The cable is a bit stiff though so if you need this to fit into a tight space it may help to try bending the cable a bit before connecting it.

This one has all the pins including the middle pins, but this worked just fine for my monitors The only pins it doesn't have are the ones above and below the blade.

They are DVI cables and they (mostly) work for what I need. I had expected a set of 5 clean, brand new, identical cables to use with a new KVM. These certainly do not look "new." They are exactly what I would expect to get from my IT department if I asked for 5 DVI cables. That is, the first 5 mismatched, dirty cables lying on a pile of random DVI cables where you stack new cables, old cables, and filthy cables you found on the floor. I certainly would have liked new, clean cables, but they seem to work, so they get 3 stars. One side note: I may be overly harsh as it took an extra two days and unpacking of all the cables I'd run to discover one of these non-matching cables was juuuuuuuust too big to completely seat in the back of the KVM.TL;DR: Dirty, mismatched, but functional.

This is a cheap cable, and I would not attempt to connect and disconnect it from the back of my monitor more than a few times.The cable I received looked cheaply made, the thin piece of sheet metal that is protecting the leads was bent in and out of shape and I could not plug it in before I bent it back out.Having said that, once I "fixed" the connector and plugged it in I got good quality video (It's digital anyway) and the cable is doing what it's supposed to do, which is why I decided to keep it.With OEM quality cables at around $10 it's an OK deal.

It's a cable....cables get no more than 3 stars. It works not much more to it than that.

Cable is kinda cheap but def does the job...the little plastic screws are kinda hard to turn unless you use a driver. Not sure If it was my computer or not but I had a time getting my monitor to select the input this was plugged into....again this could have been a monitor issue because it fully works now.

Packaged as a Dell DVI cable. This cable is cheap, but does the job. Resolution comes through just fine in 1080. I have no issues with this cable. I ordered it to supplement a monitor I purchased that only came with a RGB/VGI cable. Slightly thin, definitely not shielded, but not necessary for such a short length. I would question whether the cable is actually 6'. I'm 6' tall and held the cable up. I would guess it is closer to 5.5', but I didn't actually measure it to make sure. It was long enough for my needs.

The tightening screws are kind of narrow, so they're hard to tighten. Once it's connected it works fine.

The connector on one end separated as soon as my husband plugged it in. He had to reinstall the connector and super glue the two halves together.

Metal ends are cheap metal and bend out of shape easily

See my review on Nvidia cards. I have another Nvidia that I am using ..strange but I thought dvi is supposed to have superior picture versus vga? Not so. I have had to stop using the cable and switch back to vga cables.yes, my rig is old but the graphics card is new. Once I rebuild my rig with all new computer parts I will give dvi amother chance. Until then, digital monitors and dvi....meh.

This is an outdated model, it's only single link which does not support as many monitors because of lack or resolution. Get the dual link cable instead.

Good think I ordered much longer than I actually needed. Whoever measured this must not know what a foot is. Actual length is about 5 feet.

It worked fine for a few months, but eventually started to display black bars across my screen randomly. I'm not sure what happened here as many others seem to have had a great experience, so maybe I got a dud.

Although the product is clearly marked as having "DVI-I Male" connectors, I didn't realize that the connectors will not mate with ordinary DVI female connectors. The vendor should add a clearly written note to that effect.Most DVI Female connectors are DVI-D. These cables are useless for me, as all of the monitors I have only handle DVI-D male cable connectors.

The picture I receive with this cable is not perfect. It took some wiggling to get most of the artifacts to go away, but there are still probably 50 or so pixels that are discolored spread around the screen. I think a higher quality cable would not have this problem. I'm running 1920x1200 resolution.This is the first dvi cable I've purchased, but next time I won't buy the cheapest I see.

This cable is kinda crappy. It is very cheaply made, the white plastic around the ends is flexible, and you can push in on the middle because it isn't solid. This cable has absolutely nothing to do with Dell, and was clearly not manufactured by Dell.

Bought this the other day and well having issues with it. It says its a hd cable well its not.my blu ray software doesn't work with this cord it says it not hd compatible. So i switch cords and now its fine

Wrong item does not fit my computer and company does not give any return information. While this was only a $2.00 item I recommend finding someone else to buy of off. I will definitely pay a little more next time to make sure the description is better and I get the right item.

When I tried to use it on my Mac nitro while it gave me the desktop image an error message came up saying it was not compatable

I purchased two of these cables and experienced issues with both of them. First of all they both had bent pins so there is no quality control in the manufacture process of these cables. After straightening out the pins, one cable worked and the other didn't. Do yourself a favor and buy different cables.

First of all, they are absolutely not Dell cables. They are knock off that don't work. Ordered two and neither would work. Borrowed some DVI cables from a friend and bingo. They monitor worked. Tried to use the ones I ordered just in case. They wouldn't work! Absolute ripoff!

My order is nothing like the picture posted. Do not buy.

The cable received did not have the shape of a DVI pin housing nor did it have the same number of pins and slat as a normal DVI cable would have.

Waited week and a half, a vga cable came! Im confused i ordered a 2 pack of dvi to dvi. I will leave an appropriate review after problem is resolved.

I ordered a 6 foot DVI to DVI monitor cable. The package says 6 foot but the cable is 4 1/2 feet. The cost doesn't bother. But I wish they hadn't wasted my time.

This cable is not 6 foot long. Maybe 4 foot tops. Not worth returning. I learned my lesson. Stick with a good manufacturer like Startech.

Ordered this because I needed a 6 ft cable... it was only 3 ft. I already have a 3 ft cable that isn't long enough. Now I have two.

No video signal once plugged in, used another cable and that had no issues.

Projected small green dots on my monitor so I consider it an epic fail. =(

The product failed to work and I had to return it. I don't know if it was the length of the cable or if it was defective!
