Five Star Reviews: | 62% Inexpensive upgrade to the smaller one we've had fpr years. June 9, 2017 Affordable large cooking surface, easy to clean, adjustable cooking temps and simple. Works just as good as my last Forman grill June 4, 2017 Great price. Been using it for the past two weeks. Works great. Temperature control is a plus. I'm not a fan of the removable hot plates. Gift May 10, 2017 Bought for my husband and he just LOVES this... been using daily since it was delivered. Glad he loves his Foreman. This thing is awesome! April 27, 2017 Does a great job! My last one was too small and didn't have a way to adjust the temperature. This one is perfect for our big family! Highly recommended! Great grill August 17, 2015 This is my first indoor grill purchase. Bought this one on sale and it was a good decision, very happy with it. I looked at other models and originally wanted to get one with removable grill plates for easier clean up as I read in reviews. BUT, we just wipe this one down after use while it is still hot and it works like a charm. Hubby loves it even more than me, I think, and after making his first steak on this grill he said it changed his life :-) I don't use it for steak since I am not a steak person, but I grilled chicken, salmon, and pork on it; we use it several times a week and are very pleased with it. Great grill for the price! April 7, 2015 For the price you can't ask for a better deal... Big enough, temperature control etc... I hesitate to buy it but after using it, I Highly recommended! I posted a pic to give you an idea of the size. Hope it help! | 76% Best darn brush ever! September 24, 2017 This brush is one of my favorite cleaning tools! It is handy for a lot of projects. It is great for cleaning the prongs from a rotisserie grill, running shoes, tricky bathroom crevices, crusty pots etc. The size and weight make it easy to use. The bristles are not soft and they are not stiff like a wire brush. Goes in the dishwasher. Great versatile cleaning product at a low price. September 12, 2017 I bought this product for my George Foreman Grill and it does a fantastic job at cleaning. I found that I use it even more though in my pots and pans that need to avoid abrasive cleaning and it excels here as well. Together with the reasonable price I'd have no problem buying it again if it ever wears out. Great for ceramic plates. September 11, 2017 This is an absolute necessity for the new ceramic plates. The wet paper towel is also a good asset for these plates (back to basics). I also try to cook at at lower temps where possible, mostly 325 to 350. A nice dependable electric grill brush May 20, 2017 Soft enough to clean your grill without scratching it but durable enough to withstand any harden food even at high temperatures Best Brush for electric grill! May 3, 2017 I use this to clean my Secura grill. Cleans it totally! Easy clean-up! Brush is sturdy and doesn't loose shape while using pressure while cleaning.Fits into all spaces. Ok its great May 12, 2016 Very good and stiffer than some reviews say. Useful tool to remove the gritty stuff stuck to the grill but naturally the greese still needs to be cleaned off. Used unded the faucet with a few drops of liquid soap, fantastic. | 53% There are no reviews yet | 75% There are no reviews yet | 38% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 17% Great product - so wide and easy to use September 21, 2017 Great product - so wide and easy to use. Only problem is that you can’t remove the parts to clean them. Go for it but consider spending on one with a removable surface. August 30, 2016 A regular Forman Grill. The surface does not come apart and it's on the large side to easily clean in the sink. Great Grill! August 22, 2015 This is my favorite G.F. grill. I have tried several, and I have found none that I enjoy using more than this one. I don't think it can cook as much food as it claims, but it is the right size for my family of three adults. We use it several times a week. This one has the temp control knob which comes in very handy when grilling veggies and other foods that I don't want to cook too fast. On the other hand, if I want to cook something fast, it does a very good job. The best thing I like about it is the fast cleanup. It takes about a minute. I get it hot, scrap it with the plastic spatula, wipe it with the wet sponge and Voila. This is the one I would recommend to my friends. Great size for family of four June 7, 2015 We use it for most for pork, hamburger patties and chicken breasts. We are a family of four and it is the right size for four portions. Second GF grill we bought (NOTE: clean the grill or dogs just might knock it off the counter breaking it). Its a mainstay. This is a great grill. It fits tons of chicken pieces and ... June 1, 2015 This is a great grill. It fits tons of chicken pieces and anything you might want to grill for a dinner party. The only thing that is disappointing is trying to clean it. It wish it was easier to clean and put away, granted the grease/fat/oil catcher is a synch to clean, but the main body of the grill takes about 10 minutes to clean each time we use it. | 14% A Nice, Handy Grill Cleanup Tool September 17, 2017 Works well as the initial "scrub" on our George Foreman 15-serving BBQ grill. After soaking the grill plate surface with water for a few minutes, this got much of the most stuck stuff loosened and off. I then finished things up with the George Foreman Grill Sponge. Four Stars August 8, 2017 Does a decent job helping clean out waffle iron after making cinnamon rolls. good for cleaning May 8, 2017 without damaging the grill. Not a whole lot more to say about this...it's does what it is suppose to do! Great brush for the Foreman grill April 27, 2017 Great brush for the Foreman grill; only thing I'd like is having the ability to have some soap in the handle as some OXO brushes do. OXO Good Grips Electric Grill Brush May 10, 2016 I bought the OXO Good Grips Electric Grill Brush for our indoor table top grill. It has worked well on the grill grooves to remove food residue.I hope it stands up to it's name and we get long term and many successful uses from the OXO Grill Brush. It appears to be well made and am very pleased with this purchase so far. Pretty good! but still need a wire bristled brush. February 4, 2016 I am giving this a four for use on a true, cast iron grill pan. This brush does a valiant job, working as hard as it can to clean up the burnt bits and bobs that stick to the pan. Since this brush is really designed for coated pans, the bristles are not quite stiff and "wiry" enough to do a perfect job. But, on my ceramic lined grill pan, the smaller square ones, this brush is perfect and would receive a full five stars.I suspect that this is a tool that will need to be replaced regularly, just like a dobie or sponge since the bristles are already getting softer. | 12% There are no reviews yet | 15% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 8% Not a must have September 9, 2015 I have not figured out what the best food is to cook with this. It doesn't seem to get as hot as I expect. Does cook hot dogs ok. Great cooking, hard to clean. August 5, 2015 Love cooking weeknight meals on this because it's so fast and easy, but the cleanup is awkward and time consuming. Cleaning the grill takes more time than actually cooking on it. Not the original ! July 9, 2015 Purchased this particular GF grill to replace an older & smaller model which was past its prime. Two reasons for the purchase were: larger grilling surface and temperature control option. Size is great but temperature control leaves a little to be desired......even at the highest setting, this grill doesn't get as hot as our old, small grill. My wife likes cook up some home made burritos & had done so frequently on our old grill. Now, she has to warm up some of the ingredients in the microwave first or the finished product never gets evenly warm inside. A definite drawback. After being sooooo happy with our GF's over the years, it was a bit disappointing. An updated version should work at least as well as the original. | 6% This does have a groove that helps in the grill ... May 31, 2017 This does have a groove that helps in the grill that I have, but the grease/food particles stick to it and makes a mess to try and remove Not a great "specialty item" March 17, 2017 This didn't do anything special to help clean a panini maker or grill pan, but it is a little firmer bristle than our ordinary sink brush. Great for intended use: Warning- Not for standard grills, bristles are soft, but works GREAT For non-stick surface items.. January 29, 2017 Ok, bristles are not firm, but appear soft enough not to scratch the surface. Not a terribly big fan of this August 13, 2015 Not a terribly big fan of this. It cleans but you have to go back after the fact and clean the grill down. Seems it almost spreads it more than helps. | 14% There are no reviews yet | 7% There are no reviews yet | 25% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 6% Deceptive product marketing August 26, 2017 The product uses deceptive marketing to make false claims that it is 8-serving. If the size of your burgers is normal then don't expect to be able to do any more than 4. Two Stars November 12, 2016 I wanted the one with removable plates. This model is too difficult to clean. Not easy to clean August 20, 2016 Awful first taste. Cooks fair. Not if meat has a bone. Not easy to clean. The plastic hinges holding it in place snapped like twigs while cleaning after the second use February 19, 2016 The folding mount on the bottom of the grill to elevate it, which causes grease to drain off the food, is extremely cheap and flimsy. The plastic hinges holding it in place snapped like twigs while cleaning after the second use, effectively removing the purpose and functionality of this type of grill. This unit has a cord that is barely 12" long ... September 27, 2015 This unit has a cord that is barely 12" long, so if your short on counter space be sure to have an extension cord. This unit does not heat up or cook evenly. Unit has a small horizontal gap that runs the width of this cooker which allows grease and juices to enter between cooktop and base. After a period of use, this might become a fire hazard. even if it is super cheap. Do not recommend September 15, 2015 Pro: Cheap, cooks food well.Con:Impossible to clean because it is all one piece. Many small cracks and crevices where grease and gunk get in where it is very difficult to clean out. Grease catcher does not work at all. After cooking, the entire underside of the grill is covered in grease, and the counter top upon which it is cooked is filthy. Not worth it at all, even if it is super cheap. Do not recommend. | 2% The scrubber DID however become useful as a heavy duty scraper fir mu cats food ... September 20, 2017 This product advertized that you could use it for indoor non-stick grills without having the surface stripped. Upon my very first use, it stripped the black coating right off the middle of thr grill! Ive had this grill for years, so it was a real bummer. The scrubber DID however become useful as a heavy duty scraper fir mu cats food bowl when small bits get stale and ruin sponges trying to remove. Wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was going to ruin my grill, but I'm glad it was useful for something else! Two Stars August 3, 2017 THE BRISTLES ARE TOO SOFT AND THE SILICONE SCRAPER DOES NOT FIT THE GROOVES OF MY PANINI MAKER. Its not cleaning the curvature part of the pan because ... January 15, 2015 Its not cleaning the curvature part of the pan because of the over bite with the rubber at the top, also the bristles(?) need to be a little tougher for cleaning. Not worth it December 30, 2014 I bought this to use on my George Foreman grill. A dish rag does a better job of cleaning than this does. The key to keeping any electric grill in top shape, is to clean it immediately after cooking (while its still hot). After using the brush, you still have to use a rag to clean it. It defeats the purpose of having the brush. Also it is pretty difficult to get the food particles out of the brush bristles. Stick to a dish rag! Does not work all that well. June 21, 2014 Theoretically this brush should be useful. It looks well-designed. In actual use it is not. Cleaning grills is no fun. While the bristles seemed stiff enough, it doesn't clean very well. The rubber edge scrapper does not scrape anything off. Soaking the grill overnight is mandatory. The hole in the handle is ill-designed, and cannot be hung on any curved hook other than a straight nail. | 11% There are no reviews yet | 2% There are no reviews yet | 12% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 7% NO GOOD! January 17, 2017 A major complaint about the removal plate is that it doesn't heat up evenly and properly like the original design. But do yourself a favor and get the removable plates if you get a large size grill like this one. Use paper towel to wipe it right after use, then let the dishwasher does the rest of the work. I used to have the - 2 servings - size, the plates were not removable but it was quick to clean up with just paper towel. However, with this serving size it's a pain to clean up.I hate:The size - It's huge but lightweight, but the bad kind of lightweight. The drip holder - When I open the lid it causes the grill to move forward, thus also moving the holder. MESS!The Quality - It's plastic! Very cheap looking. The temperature setting is also made of plastic. When the top plate gets hot it would melt this and cause some plastic smell. One Star September 14, 2016 Horrible. Bottom element stopped working after 2 12 months. Unfortunatly for me, this replacement grill, (had to return the 1st one because the bottom element didn't work) lasted just long enough for it to exceed the return date. Very disappointed. My 1st George Forman grill lasted almost 8 years. This is a big ripoff. Low Quality Product October 27, 2015 I had one of the original George Foreman grills and I liked it a lot. It had been a few years since mine died and I decided it was time for a new one. My original unit was sturdy, this thing seems like it will snap apart at any moment. The worst feature is that the grill is supposed to be at aslant so the grease runs down and out, THAT IS the selling point of this product. The one I received is perfectly level, the only way grease would run down and out was when I propped up the back. This thing is of poor quality and I wish I had not purchased it. NOT impressed! August 14, 2015 I had a George Foreman Grill I received as a wedding gift 24 years ago. It worked like a champ for all these years until I accidentally dropped it in a sink full of water a few months ago. I purchased the GR2121P, thinking that I would get a NEW George Foreman grill that would be even better and got a rude awakening on how CHEAP the new ones are. The temperature control is a joke--it slides back and forth and its obvious it doesn't control a darn thing! It doesn't even feel like its connected to anything. On low vs high there is absolutely no difference in the temperature. The whole grill is lighter and way more flimsy. NO timer!!? My old one had a timer and when the timer went off---it automatically turned the grill off; which was a great feature! This one I have to watch constantly so it won't burn my meat up---because the grill gets way too hot! (refer to the fake temperature control feature that does NOT work) The WORST thing is that they changed the design of the hinges and it is IMPOSSIBLE to clean this grill without making a huge mess on your counter top. Also, while cooking, grease ends up on the counter top from the hinges--on the opposite end of where the drip tray is placed. The old grill had ridges in the hinges that would hold the residue liquid from cleaning the grill---and you could wipe it out easily with a cloth---NOT the new one! Clean up results in a huge mess every time. I am very disappointed with this George Foreman grill!!! They should have stuck with the original design---the quality and performance was way better!! this one was the best price but it's standalone drip catcher SUCKS July 7, 2015 After I write this I'm going to look for the refund policy...I have used a Hamilton Beach for yearssssssss but my model with a built in drip catcher (i guess) has been discontinued. So I went looking for something new with an adjustable heat measure..... this one was the best price but it's standalone drip catcher SUCKS...So I'm going back to my ten year old Hamilton Beach! | 2% Do Not Buy UNLESS you want to destroy your non-stick surface! NOT for non-stick pans. Warning! January 3, 2017 Do Not Buy! I have an expensive, no-stick grill pan that we use ~3 nights a week and would normally clean it with a paper towel and it would clean perfectly easily yet just felt like more work than i wanted to do--I thought there must be a better way and searched and found this brush. However, after using it just 2x, it has completely ruined the non-stick surface on my pan (despite saying it is for non-stick surfaces) and now meats are sticking to the pan and it will not clean at all. Plus, it was definitely not better than simply using a paper towel and my fingernail. I could live with the fact that the product didn't work and would deal with throwing away the $10 i spent on it, HOWEVER, i am absolutely livid that this has ruined the surface of my $130 non-stick pan! OXO, shame on you--this really sucks!! Don't buy as a replacement for the old Cast Iron brush! August 4, 2016 This is the replacement for the cast iron brush and it's terrible compared to the old one. The bristles are too soft! Bought the brush to clean cast iron pans. Works ... June 3, 2015 Bought the brush to clean cast iron pans. Works OK for the middle of the pan but due to the wide gray rim around the bristles, I couldn't clean the edges of the pan. Not up for tough work. October 9, 2014 Bristlesare very soft. I was expecting a firmer bristle considering how short the handle is. It does not scrub very well on burt items in a cast iron skillet or other non stick surfaces (no I don't use soap on my cast iron). | 10% There are no reviews yet | 1% There are no reviews yet | 25% There are no reviews yet |
