Held up through 45 mph winds and rain on a Montain on the lake !!!
August 6, 2017
I don't write many reviews but I had to with this ! I went camping in the mountains on a lake in July it was very cold and windy the week we went camping plus being near the lake with a mountain behind us made the wind worse ! We put up the tent in 20 mins really easy from a YouTube video , And the wind was so bad it sounded like 100 shopping bags ratteling in the wind with 30-45 mph winds that thing held up nothing caved in and we stayed dry with the tarp over the tent that came with this , the only thing is u can feel the wetness if you touch the inside of the tent Ana there was a drip from condensation but we were also in a really bad wind rain storm ! This tent really holds true to its name , the weather master ! I was thankful we went with this one due to the weather ! And such a good price !
Tried and Tested
July 21, 2017
Just had a chance to test out this tent out on a week long camping trip. There were 2 of us camping on this trip and we found the tent to be spacious and relatively easy to set up once you figure out how its done. We had it set up in under 20 minutes each time after a practise run in the back yard. I'm not sure where you would fit 6 people, like the packaging suggests, unless you know each other well, or want to know someone well :) We experienced a variety of weather, ranging from overnight lows of 5 degrees (Celcius), high winds, heavy rains, as well as heat and humidity over 29 degrees. Two of the wall seams leaked a little in the middle of the tent but that happened after a substantial downpour and the amount of water in the tent afterwards was less than 1/2 cup. The fly was securely fastened and we had no issues, even with the high winds. The screened porch is a welcome bonus for anyone camping in buggy areas and allows you to leave footwear outside without it getting wet. The small corner zip was perfect for feeding an extension cord into the tent. We wish we had brought a heater the first few nights and then a fan for the last part of the trip. A few things we didn't like about this tent - there are only 2 mesh pockets sewn into the interior of the tent and they are on different walls at different heights. The instructions provided are not the best but it's straight forward if you've ever had any experience setting up tents. I highly recommend doing a test run before taking it on your trip unless puzzles are your thing.
We just LOVED IT! Spent a week in it
July 27, 2016
We just LOVED IT! Spent a week in it, it rained a whole lot on and off. Even tho we did not tie down the fly the rain stayed out except in one tiny spot...our fault. All our gear was dry as could be, the screenroom made a fantastic "mud room" it kept the inside nice and neat taking boots off in there. The door! The door is a revelation easy to open and close when loading and unloading with mosquitos around.. door shuts behind you and then you can run your hand along inside to slide a well placed flap to keep it lightly secured aided by velcro. It also zips and because of the design it does not get caught up in the fabric as easily as many tents I have used.
This is a NICE tent.

I've used all kinds of backpacking tents, good and bad. Never have I bought a "car camping" tent until now. I wasn't sure about how I'd like it or the craftsmanship of the product. Boy, this is one nice tent. Super strong, went up in 30 minutes on first try, stable and robust. I swapped out the plastic stakes, (per reviews), with long steel stakes, and you should too. When I first got the box, (in two days!), it was huge. This thing is like 4' long shipped, but it's about 3.5' in it's bag. The bag is also robust with great handles and zipper. For me, that's a huge bonus. Nothing worse than getting a sweet tent, only to have a crappy carry bag.I had to air the thing out for about 4 hours to get the dead mouse smell out of mine, that wasn't a dead mouse, but some form of off-gassing. I took everything out of the bag and noticed how nice the fly was: taped seams and zippers! YES!!!!! About the zippers in this thing: Totally strong and smooth with zero snagging.I really like the floor of this tent. Extremely durable, bathtub style. This bad boy will stay dry. Not sure there's a need for a footprint with this tent. A dog would not tear holes in this floor. The poles are strong and they set up easily, with a spring clip on the bottom of the tent that goes into the ground side hole of the pole.Interior floor measures: 9x12'. Screened room measures: 6x8.5' and I'm 6'2" and can stand up in the portion nearest the interior wall. This will be a very comfortable tent, well made, easily handle the elements, and quality all around.
what a great tent for my purpose
July 20, 2015
bought this tent after my old one had a tree branch kill it. what a great tent for my purpose. i am a car camper on trips with the wife. this review is based on a camping trip to Bryce Canyon July 16-19 2015. tent is easy to set up with two people, but one person might have a hard time setting it up. the first two nights were beautiful, but cold. the third night we got hit with a mean monsoon storm around 3am with thunder and lightning and huge rain drops. the tent did not leak at all. be sure to scotch guard the seams at the very least. i did not scotch guard, but i always recommend it with new tents. i wanted to see if it held up like other reviews that i have read, and it did for me. if you don't scotch guard, you can touch the wet tent from the inside and start a condensation type of leak, but this is typical for tents that i have purchased in the price range and size and even after spraying it, it could still touch leak, but not as likely as water would roll right off and not have a chance to catch the little ridges of the fabric and run inside. i was confident to return to sleep once i examined the seems and corners for leaks and sleep well with the rain falling hard on the tent. i only attached the guylines to the tent hold down stakes(i did not use the stakes that came with the tent) instead of spreading them further out since we had three kids running around the campsite and it held in the monsoon winds with out a budge when i checked them in the morning. the door on the tent is awesome. it makes it so easy to get in and out of the tent. i hated my old tents zipper only door and would avoid going in and out because im lazy with the zipper or kids would never close it and then BOOM, bugs in the tent. the door closes automatically from gravity and seems to seal well when just held shut with gravity and Velcro. i noticed no bugs, yea!
Spacious.. Roomy.. Comfy.. Worth Getting!!!!
August 7, 2014
Just got back from a four night trip up at Big Basin Redwoods State Park in California. And it was worth every cent. Very spacious inside the sleeping quarters and screened room. Sometimes a little bit difficult to zip and unzip the hinged door due to the weather guards which is no biggie in my book. However the second night there we had gotten a little bit of rain (thank goodness I put the rain fly on the moment I set up the tent) way early in the morning and it held up and repelled exceptionally well, mind you.. I haven't sprayed it yet with silicone sealant and when it rained it was rather light. Eventually when the season changes I'll put it to the test. In the meantime I strongly recommend this tent. But to give everyone the heads up... Its spacious and roomy with two adult and one child and bags of clothes. I can see at most comfortably sleeping like four to five full size adults if you plan on keeping bags of clothes in the tent.

a must buy!
September 8, 2017
I'm glad I bought this set. Every tent comes with its own metal nails but they are so crapy. They go in and half way down they bend, but this ones don't. They were amazing and I wish I would have bought more. They do sale them separately for less than a $1 each at home depot so I'm definitely going to buy like 20 more before our next camping trip. They go down very easily but you definitely need the back of the hammer to get them back out. The extra piece is probably to dig them back out but we couldn't find ours. They are strong!!!!The little broom with tiny dust pan came in handy inside the tent because overtime the names came in they dragged some dirt inside with them.
Great addition
August 23, 2017
I got this kit to supplement my Coleman Sundome tent and I'm glad I did. The stakes that come with this are superior and held up great. The stake puller is a nice tool and it makes it way easier to pull up the stakes. The dust pan and broom make cleaning up easy. I think it's a great kit to have handy.
The extra stakes were nice too vs
July 5, 2017
This kit is worth it alone just for the little brush/dustpan and the hook to pull out stakes! Sure you can use other tools but why not have a separate kit and throw it with you tent so you don't have to think about finding tools out of your tool box everytime you go camping? The extra stakes were nice too vs. the thin/shorter stakes that come with most tents. I dunno why Coleman doesn't include those as standard. We set our tent on a somewhat sandy area and those other stakes kept coming out. These stakes held in nicely. All in all, very good, useful purchase.
Perfect for my Coleman beach tent!
April 12, 2017
I absolutely loved having this handy kit with my Coleman tent. The stakes in it are amazing and worked so much better than the ones provided with my tent. The mallet makes putting them into the sand a breeze!! I think we used the broom everyday to wipe of he tent throughout the day and also before packing it up. And again, the other thing to remove the stakes made his assembly and disabbemly a dream. I highly recommend it.
All in one kit I would recommend definitely for any first time campers
March 3, 2017
All in one kit I would recommend definitely for any first time campers. Also if it's your first time camping, play that card out so your friends will put your tent up for you. Then crack open a beer and laugh at those suckers.

Need this for the beach tents! Can't wait to try it out.....UpdateWe have used this kit for our beach shelters and it works great. I dont know about using these items on a tent in the woods but on the beach it keeps our shelters in place. I plan on buying another because we usually bring to tents and this kit came with just 4 stakes. The broom is great for removing beach sand.

Amazing!

I loved this cot bed! I bought two for camping this year and they were great easy set up and take down. I had no stress point with my air bed cover so I'm not sure what people were talking about I didn't have that experience. I also used them when we stayed the night at family's house I've had no negative reviews at the moment. I thought they were comfortable to sleep in they weren't over the top noisy when moving and making yourself more comfortable at night. They were like any other air bed "noisy". I did have to fill them up with more air the following day but they didn't leak a rediculous amount. Overall great buy I would highly recommend and the storage bag it comes in is such a great convenience to be able to roll them where you need to. They're not that much bulkier then abnormal canopy. They also come with a air pump that uses 4 size D batteries. Great buy!
Might be my all time best camping splurge
June 12, 2017
We are seriously obsessed with this bed for camping! Might be my all time best camping splurge. The comfort blows our old double-high instant bed out of the water! We only added air every couple of days, as the canvas sling of the cot gives perfect support and you don't feel like you're "bottoming out" like you do with an air mattress on the ground.
If you need an air mattress- you need this!
May 31, 2017
My husband is a combat vet and refuses to sleep on the ground for fun. I hate his army cots and would rather sleep on a thick yoga mat.... We compromised.I chose this particular cot because:-there are no horizontal bars under your body. Just one verticle one inbetween two people (although if it's just one person in center of the mattress, you dont feel it). And it helps with rolling into the center.-The way this folds allows a ton of storage under the cot.-the mattress is zipped into place and does not move.-you can replace the mattress down the line if you need to.-the height is very easy to get in and out of, I think my senior visitors would prefer this over my tall guest bed-although heavy, I could travel with this when I know I'd have to stay on someone's couch.-hallelujah, a bag that is big enough to fit all parts and you dont have to do origami (it's the small things folks!)I had this on my watch list for over a year and watched the prices go from $89-$179. I nabbed it for under a hundred. I highly, highly, highly recommend. Even for the occasional user, you'll be very glad you have this!
Next best thing to bringing your bed with you
September 3, 2016
I like camping but I hate sleeping on hard ground with rocks in your back. I have tried different mattresses and cushions but they just take a slight edge off and you end up rolling off of them in the middle of the night half the time. I was going to scout camp for a week with my son and there was no way I was going to spend it on the ground each night. I first was looking at normal cots to use with just a pad and sleeping bag, then I found this new glorious addition to my camping setup. It is not the actual size of a normal queen mattress but it is not far off either. The battery operated pump that comes with it makes blowing this up a breeze and had it up in a matter of minutes. The pump can also be used to suck out all of the air at the end of your trip as well. I was a little hesitant about sleeping on the frame of this thing because it doesn't look very sturdy. But dint have any problem holding my 250 lbs and my son for the week. I wouldn't go jumping on it or anything but it seemed sturdy and didn't have any issues. The only downside with the mattress was the fact that it looses air with use, but I have never met any one of these things that doesn't loose air. Every night before bed I would just top it off with the pump for a few minutes and it was good to go. It is obviously not as comfortable as a normal bed but it was the best camping experience I have ever had. Didn't wake up with sore bodies and with the sheets and blankets we added, it was almost just like home.
This is the most AMAZING camping bed I've ever witnessed
August 23, 2016
This is the most AMAZING camping bed I've ever witnessed, and I've camped my entire life. Seriously.I've backpacked. I've glamped. I've gone to music festivals, art festivals, burning man regionals... I've used/witnessed/borrowed/begged/not-quite-stolen everything under the sun/moon/stars. This beats all of them. Why, you ask?Not only is it up off of the ground, so my 36 year old disabled ass doesn't have to cry every time I get in and out of my sleeping bag, my suitcase FITS UNDERNEATH THE BED. What?!?!?! Under bed storage. Bam!Then, there's the cot itself. Yeah, there's a bar running down the middle. That's for extra support. Not a huge deal for me, because I'm 5'4 and even though I weigh an impressive 213 for my height, I fit seamlessly into the little pocket between the rods. Mmmmmmnnnn... comfy. And all this is without even adding in the INCLUDED AIR MATTRESS.WHAT?!?!?!??! There's an included air mattress?????? Yep.But... won't that just fall off of the cot? Or Fail like Every Other Air Mattress and Ruin the Most Awesome Cot FOREVER??????That's where the Genius of Coleman comes in, kids. See, it's not built in like some Cots with Air Mattresses you'll see out there. Coleman did it the smart way. They added a pocket made out of super soft microfiber material that feels like your favorite Grandmammy's sheets and zippers open to slide the PREMIUM COLEMAN AIR MATTRESS WITH DOUBLE AIR LOCK MAGICALNESS inside and then you ZIPPER IT SHUT AGAIN, keeping the double zippers close to the air lock just in case you'd like to, I don't know, adjust the firmness of your mattress later on in your stay because IT DOES NOT LEAK (much) ((at least, not after the first night. that's any mattress, though)).But wait. There's more.HOW CAN THERE POSSIBLY BE MORE?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!YOU'VE ALREADY GIVEN US SO MUCH, COLEMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MotherLoving Side Tables, Batman. They snap on right where you want them. With holes for all of your beverage holding needs. And just enough room for a kindle, a phone, and an adult beverage. I would know. And you know what else I know? My survival kit slid Right Underneath the Table!BAM!!More floorspace!!You have no idea how life changing this bed has been for me.And I've only gotten to take it on one trip (so far). I'm taking it out again next week. I'm already excited about it.
Very comfortable

A waterproof house made of nylon!
August 20, 2017
Impressive tent! We stayed dry in the heaviest downpour ever in Yellowstone park. As large as a Motel 6 room, there are acres of space to stow your gear, even with a queen mattress inside. Plenty of windows, a swing door, and a front porch, many features to customize your new home. Set up is complex but gets easier each time. Pictograph instructions are terrible thus the loss of a rating star. Rainfly in particular was unclear how the side tensioners work. Other campers remarked that it is a cool thing to behold. Great value, Coleman quality.
You're better off buying a tote to keep it and all ...
May 17, 2017
Setup is a bit of a bear, but once it's up it's quite roomy and decent. It definitely helps to have a level site. Forget about putting it back in the original bag ever again though. You're better off buying a tote to keep it and all of the parts in. I would have preferred an "instant-tent" but it seems they no longer make the one I used to have. Still, one person can set this up in about 25 minutes. Two people can do it in less than 10.
Love this tent
May 11, 2017
Love this tent. The set up was super easy with the color coded poles. It's the perfect size for me, my partner and my dog. We did use a queen size bkiw up mattress. Also had s 4 foot table near the screen door for our stuff to sit on, like lanterns and glasses and hygiene stuff. My only issue with the tent is condensation built up between the rain fly and the screen on the roof. The water then dripped all over my bed and bedding.
Pretty good tent, great door
July 25, 2016
Fairly lightweight tent. Not sure what the weather master moniker is about. Our first one had holes in it, so we returned it. The second one was pretty good, but the rain fly leaked a little. I applied some seam sealer and hope all will be good. The door is brilliant. To not have to unzip constantly is a great feature. It was hot in the tent when the sun was out. Ventilation seems good, but still the tent can get hot if you want to nap in the daytime. The stakes that come with the tent were useless for hard ground. For sandy soil, they would be fine (except the wire stakes for the rain fly. Those are useless)The poles work well and seem real solid.I am happy with this tent assuming it quits leaking.
Great family tent with just about everything we were looking for.
January 5, 2016
This tent can be a challenge to set up, but it's good quality. We've taken it out on several occasions, two of which saw a decent amount of rain, and there were no puddles in the tent. The floor and bottom edges of the walls seem well made. We like the door feature, which is great for kids that are in-and-out all day long, but wish the windows had more of an overhang to keep them open without worry if there are showers in the forecast. The screen room is nice, but I wish there were some privacy panels for it. Honestly, we need to try and use this feature better, since we've typically just used it for a storage area for shoes, coolers, etc. The divider inside is great to have with a family, and the button connectors work okay - when rolling & fastening the divider when not in use, it could be more neatly connected to the side of the tent (not really a big deal). It can be a challenge to set up the tent without the rain fly touching the top of the interior part, but with two people, it's not that hard. The directions are clear, and the poles are pretty good quality and easy to identify (if you have some experience setting up tents before). We purchased a 10x12 tarp for ground cover. For less than a plane ticket or a night and a half in a hotel room, you can get the family out camping.
Very nice, just needs prepped
July 8, 2015
I was a little concerned with this purchase after reading quite a few reviews mentioning this tent leaking like a sieve. If I'm being honest, however, my experience with it so far leads me to believe those folks just didn't do their due diligence on waterproofing. When the tent arrived I immediately set it up in the yard, seam sealer and camp dry spray was flying, and I was good to go. I left it up for about a week of constant summer storms and never got more water inside than a handful of paper towels could mop up completely. The only areas water was coming in were under the windows where the toggles attach, which is hard to deal with because you're fighting osmosis. With the fly up and the guy wires properly tightened and the awnings propped correctly, it holds up very well. It's definitely not something to hit the Appalachian trail with but very nice for a family camping trip. One note I do want to make, because it was very confusing even after reading reviews and answered questions here: regarding the covered exterior area, the netting can be completely zipped across the bottom but the solid sheet does not. So wind can get in through there but you can keep critters out.

Nice little set
August 18, 2017
Good for the price. I really wanted the handheld stake puller and mini dustpan. While the handle on the puller is a bit flimsy but I am relieved not to have to worry about another puller coming off a mallet, and the dustpan is very small, not the best quality, but it gets the job done. The mallet is a basic mallet, hard to go wrong there, and the stakes are good and solid. I love there is a carry bag for them as well.
Great but a few lil issues.
April 3, 2017
I like the rubber mallet but not sure what to think of the tent spikes. For my tent a 4 person seemed a little excessive. The broom seemed do an ok job. To finish clean up I got the vacuum. So that is why it is a 4 do to the broom. I think however the spikes will do better for a bigger tent.
Worth the money
March 14, 2017
Mallet and stakes seem very sturdy and robust. I'm not sure if the brush and pan will be much use as they are pretty small. I'm also not sure how folks reported they bent the stake puller as I tried to mess it up and couldn't. Basically, the whole kit is a little cheaper than just buying four stakes and a mallet so it is a pretty good bargain.
Good kit, but the stakes will come out of ...
March 10, 2017
Good kit, but the stakes will come out of the ground easily since they are a simple shaft. However, the mallet and camp dust pan are fantastic and at a cheaper price than if you purchased them separately. Over all its a good buy as long as you are using the stakes as an extra bonus feature.
Buy for the stakes not the mallet
August 4, 2016
I bought this to upgrade my tent stakes, as well as for the stake puller. I just used this kit for the first time on a recent camping trip. I was impressed by the stakes and stake puller. Both were invaluable. The stakes are easy to hammer into the ground with the flat nail like head. The mallet failed horribly. I had hammered 3 out of 4 stakes successfully. As I was hammering the last one in, the mallet head came completely off the handle! I saw that it had only been glued onto the handle. I was disappointed. Thankfully I had already staked my tent because I didn't bring a backup hammer or mallet. The hand broom worked great for cleaning my tent floor. And the stake puller worked perfectly when it was time to leave.
Handy Kit to Have
April 23, 2015
It is a handy little kit to have if you tent camp. We used everything in the kit on our last trip and everything worked as intended. If you use the bigger 10 inch tent spikes, the puller that comes with this kit is really handy. I leave the spikes in the bag as spares after losing a couple on a buried tree stump. The spikes got stuck about halfway and when I pulled them they were stuck so bad they bent. So you never know what you will encounter out there buried beneath the ground and having spares is nice.

overall its a great cot, slept two adults comfortably
August 15, 2017
took it camping , overall its a great cot, slept two adults comfortably , with an occasional 5 year old in the middle. I didn't even use the blow up mattress that came with it , I have a mat that fit perfect so I can comment on the air mattress.the rolling case that comes with it is a nice touch .the cons:- its a bit bulky and heavy.- unfolding is tricky in a tent- no latching on any of the legs make difficult to move , it just wanst to fold up.
Fine bed, but the pump needs a better nozzle ...
July 26, 2017
Fine bed, but the pump needs a better nozzle it does not fit well, it is a powerful air pump and bring your own 4, D batteries, but the tip of the plastic insert does not go into the opening well enough to stay in there when you are pumping air into it, you have to stay pushing it in the whole time. It has to pumped daily, because the plastic stretches. Not a problem though it tops off well, but no gauge to tell how much is in it or how much air you should have. It is really nice that it is off the ground and you can store stuff under your bed. It takes queen sheets with room to spare.
only complaint is the air mattress part of it
May 31, 2017
the cot itself is great, plenty of room for me and my partner. weekend of camping to test it out and i'm pretty satisfied. the only reason i give it 4 stars instead of 5, the air mattress we got was NOT leak proof in any way. every day before bed we had to re-inflate it because after just sleeping on it, the air had leaked out enough that i could feel the bars of the cot frame under my back.... NOT good for my back issues. will be replacing the air mattress with a futon mattress and memory foam padding in the future, but the frame itself is worth it.
great product
June 6, 2016
FYI: I just received and "tested" in my house yesterday. I will try and update review after more use.PROS:Built sturdy and worth $130 (it's heavy, but that's a "PRO" in my book, might not be good for elderly or weak).Side tables are nice addition (I assumed they were 'gimmicky'). I'm surprised how well they work; held a 10lb dumbell! (although will probably bend metal if left for extended time). Very cool addition.Air mattress felt comfortable, filled up quickly; couple minutes at most. No instructions needed, very easy to set everything up.CONS:Pump nozzle does not fit snug into mattress hole. Therefore you must hold connection. Not too big of a deal since it fills quickly.Light stitching is very stressed at corners as mattress inflates inside of it, expanding. I'm confident thread seams will break with minor use over time. Easy fix though (imo), I will add some strong thread stitching to stress points.Overall, with a first impression and quick testing (1 night), I'm happy with my purchase. Only major flaw is thin stitching in corner sleeves as I can see those ripping with little use.
Camping in Comfort
October 13, 2015
I purchased this item for use on a three night camping trip with my wife who suffers from back pain. It was extremely easy to set up and a real pleasure to sleep on the cot above the tent floor in comfort. The only issue preventing a 5 star rating was the weight of the cot itself. It comes in a travel case equipped with wheels, but lifting and carrying it will require some effort. The mattress itself inflates and deflates quickly with the provided pump. It held pressure throughout the trip. Also, the end tables proved to be a real convenient place to store items that you need close at hand when you're sleeping.
Pocket for the air mattress is easy to use and doesn't flop all over
May 26, 2015
Heavy, solid construction was a surprise in the weight, but a comfort knowing that the cot itself isn't flimsy because of that. Pocket for the air mattress is easy to use and doesn't flop all over. Earlier review recommended inflating the air mattress, laying on it a bit, then leaving for a while to settle before refilling a touch more, this is a good method for making sure it's full as able. Hopefully the air mattress will last as long as the cot feels like it will, but with it not directly attached, means that you can replace as needed without replacing the entire unit. Folds open easily, and closed just as easily. Feet well designed to negate any worry that it would rip through a tent floor, and the side tables are a convenience one didn't realize they needed, but appreciate once there. A great option for a couple who don't want to fret over weight restrictions as it has a high weight limit, the height makes it easy to get up on cool nights, so ideal for an older camper or someone who may have knee or back issues but still wants to enjoy the outdoors.

Nice tent with some caveats.
September 26, 2017
Very attractive tent but reviews from other people were spot on. Instructions were lame and it was hard to set up but I've only done it once with help. It is imperative I be able to set it up alone so hopefully practice will make it easier. Disappointed in screen "porch" because sides slope too much so rain (which we experienced) comes straight through the mesh. This tent will be used for fair weather camping so complaints by some regarding this and the open screen top letting in cold air will not be a factor. Not sure how the manufacturer expects to sleep 6 people! One queen air bed leaves the perfect amount of living area but it would be impossible to fit two queen beds - it would become a bouncy house with no room on the sides lol. With all that being said the tent is very well constructed and should last a long time. Door frame feature was nice and windows were perfect. I also loved being able to step on the opening and sweep dirt right out without using a dust pan. Might just burn the box on my next trip and keep the tent.
Leaking thru the seams
August 18, 2017
It could be a good tent. I like the design. Thats why i ordered it.I used it in a two week camping vacation. The biggest problem is the leaking. I dont know why it is called weathermaster. There should be no water inside my tent every time there is a little rain. It is not much, but other tents do much better. The second problem is the setup: In principle it is straight forward and easy but one step is failing easily. Some poles of the rainfly are quite hard to insert and the coresponding eyelets are not strong enough. So they easily break. The 3rd drawback is the missing zipper on the bottom of the wall to the screened part of the tent. One can only close the screen, so no insects can enter the tent but cold air.It would be easy for coleman to fix these problems. The Pros:- Good design- very nice door!- Big enough for a 4 person family in two queen sized airbeds (6 persons might fit if you sqeeze them into the tent)- Good wenting- If there is no rain and you have a warm night you can sleep without rainfly and see the stars.
Great family tent
July 29, 2017
We just set it up which was very easy for two of us to do. We decided to set it up at home and weather proof before bringing it on a trip. The only issue is one of the polls is missing a hole where the hook for the rain fly should go. Other than that it's just what we were looking for.
Good tent for the money but needs some preparation in order to get it ready for it's first use!!
May 30, 2017
Really great size tent we really enjoyed it and it is very sturdy unfortunately when we set it up we found a year on the front corner so we are exchanging it. Also DO NOT GO OUT WITHOUT FIRST WATERPROOFING IT AND SEAM SEALING!! We went camping for memorial weekend and it rained pretty good, the tent was leaking in at least 5 different places some much worse than others. Also the fact that it doesn't have a zipper to hold down the solid fabric to the porch area was anointing because it can not be very easily unzipped. Over all we like the tent for the price but when we receive our replacement we will definitely be sealing it and adding Velcro to the outer flap of the porch fabric. And I highly recommend picking up some metal stakes while your at it because the plastic ones are silly!! It was super easy to put up all alone as a 9 month pregnant women simple and easy follow instructions at least coming from someone who has put up plenty of tents in my time.
A comfortable tent but not easy to put up
April 21, 2017
I can't open a bottle of catsup; but somehow I bent one of the metal poles so badly the first time I set the tent up that I will have to replace it! It took me (70 years old with Parkinson's and low blood pressure) 4 hours to get it up. If my husband hadn't come out to help once I figured out where the poles went (It's uncertain which pole goes where the first time; I'll label them next time!) I couldn't have gotten it up. It definitely takes 2 people, and my husband has little patience with that sort of thing.
It is just an okay tent.
May 6, 2016
After using this for about 2 years now, I can say that overall this tent is just okay. Not the best, but I got this for $150.00 at the time so it's all right. I would probably not pay over $200, look elsewhere. Don't be fooled by the cool door this has.Pros:- good amount of room all around. I'm 5'8" and there is plenty of room to stand.- Like this door, it impresses many people- protects from rain well- Fun project to set up with othersCons:- A pain to set up compared to other tents. This tent must be staked down to at least support itself, otherwise it will fall over like dominoes.- when tempertures gets below 45, it can get a bit chilly- needs more than 2 pocket compartments though- door not big enough. I'm a large fellow, and the door is just barely big enough for me to comfortably to pass through. They should have made it a square instead of a half circle (more area).

Hammer smells and mesh bag is an issue
September 27, 2017
I'll probably keep it but the hammer smells awful. The rubber part emits a strong unpleasant odor. I'm a bit concerned about packing it and having it transfer the smell to other items. I pack it in a ziplock baggie on trips. I'm hoping it finishes off gassing at some point. Also a mesh bag isn't a great choice for carrying stakes because they'll stick through. However when they ship it, the stakes have little ends on them that keep them from sticking out. But if you plan to use the stakes that's a fussy detail to keep up with. Maybe they can be used as nose plugs for the hammer.
Stinky mallet
April 7, 2017
I haven't used the items included in the kit yet but wanted to point out that the mallet stinks, literally. It smells so bad I had to put it outside. I'm hoping it off-gases so I can stand having it in my vehicle. Right now, it's intolerable.
Better gear at the sporting goods store
August 19, 2016
This kit is convenient up to a point. The mallet and dustpan/brush are durable and useful. The carry bag is handy and allows for quick storage in a small space/area.The tent pegs are good as far as holding lines and being driven into the ground. But the plastic heads don't hold up to multiple uses (learned this after multiple camping trips this summer). On the first trip, the stake rod puller worked decently. On the last trip, it bent and warped to the point of being unusable.I honestly think that you can get better for the money at Walmart or a sporting goods store (or just spend more, which is what I should have done)I kept the mallet and the dustpan/brush, which is why I still give it a 3 star rating as those items are still useful to me.
Mallet works but everything else....
July 19, 2016
This set has everything you need, which is nice. That being said the quality is suspect. On there second use, the plastic piece on the end of the stakes broke while trying to use the stake remover to pull it out. The stake remover is also really flimsy. My least favorite part of this is the bag though. It's mesh but the pointed spikes stick through the holes and cause it to rip and snag. The one thing that's performed so far has been the rubber mallet. It's worked like a charm and came in very handy. Everything else has been mediocre at best.
The mallet is great but I was a bit disappointed in the stakes
July 13, 2016
The mallet is great but I was a bit disappointed in the stakes. One of them bent while we were pulling it out. They also have plastic caps on top of them that you use when pulling the stakes back out of the ground--they bend and we even had one break. The bag is a bit small so you have to take everything out to rearrange it and put it back in when you get it out. However, I gave the product three stars because of the mallet and it is better than the alternative (regular tent stakes and a hammer....
Incredible stake puller but crappy mallet - buy this just for the stake puller and stakes.
July 12, 2016
I wanted to rate this 3.5 stars but 3 it is and here's why. The tent stakes are virtually impossible to accidentally bend unlike the chintzy stakes that come with a lot of tents and unlike the plastic heavy duty stakes, these don't break if you hit the stake on the head. The broom and dustpan are okay as well as the bag, nothing special.I was incredibly peeved when the rubber mallet head flew off just minutes after using it for the first time. I even tried to gorilla glue it back on but the rubber doesn't stick well to gg so that didn't work. Basically the mallet is trash and I can't return it now. HOWEVER, the real GEM of this pack is the tent stake puller. I have no idea why I've gone so long without one of these. This one doohickey makes the purchase price completely worth it.

For the price I would pass
August 20, 2017
I had high hopes for this. While it's easy to put together and the side tables make it better, it's stupid loud. As in I couldn't sleep because every time myself or my husband moved it was so loud it woke me. The concept is good, the execution is flawed. I was hoping to find a solution to how loud it is but have yet to discover it. I'd rather get another queen double high and risk another hole.
Be sure to have a patch kit and store separately!
August 16, 2017
This is comfortable. But VERY heavy and we got a hole after one use. It appears the airbed got pinched in the folding cot. We patched it (had to buy a patch kit separately) and it works fine. But we won't be storing the air bed with the metal frame anymore.
Ed is great for keeping you off the ground but
November 2, 2016
The. Ed is great for keeping you off the ground but...if you move at all during the night the whole bed squeezes and makes terrible noise. It woke us up everytime
Great but loud
June 20, 2016
Compact, relatively light, great price (vs outdoor store prices), relatively comfortable given the alternatives. Biggest gripe....it's so noisy! Any little movement seems to make the liner for the mattress rub and makes a horrible racket all night long. The cot is amazingly sturdy and doesn't squeak or anything, just the mattress and fabric.
Comfy, but Noisy
May 3, 2016
The bed arrived in great time, but only had one side table. The visitors we needed it for were due in in a few days, so we got it set up, inflated and stretched out, and made up. They reported that it was really comfortable to sleep on ... BUT ... it was so noisy to move around on, they woke each other and themselves up turning over and/or getting up during the night. What a disappointment, especially considering the hassle and cost to package it back up and return it. But it did sleep well, we're told, and didn't lose air during the night. We switched out using the included somewhat wimpy battery-operated pump for an electric one we already had, which inflated the bed much more quickly.

Leaked on first use! Not a WeatherMaster!
September 12, 2017
I bought this tent to take my family to a music festival in VA. The tent leaked the whole time we were there!!! I even set my tent up a week before the festival & used 2 coats of waterproofing tent spray as well as waterproof seam sealer. I have owned several tents before this one, but none have leaked as badly as this one does. The reason I give it 2 stars is b/c I love the space & hinged door. I have used the tent only once & may never use it again.
Leaky seams
July 31, 2017
The good:Spacious and airy. Easy set up. Love the screened section and very roomy to stand up comfortably in.The bad:Leaks horribly from the seams by the windows and seams running down the sides. At least ours did in the back room of the tent.We had our blow up bed and sleeping bags soaked after one rain and we were camping under trees. Puddles under our blow up beds. And YES. We did use a seam sealant prior to camp out.
Amazon's return policy is fantastic - because this one sure went back to Amazon ...
May 24, 2015
Thankfully, Amazon's return policy is fantastic - because this one sure went back to Amazon in a hurry.I've been camping since the early 80s, and I've camped/backpacked across four continents. I know how to set up a tent, and I know how to stay dry in the rain. My first tip about staying dry in the rain is to avoid this tent.Coleman says the seams are sealed, but do not believe them. The seams on our tent acted like wicks to draw water into the tent, especially along the bottom of the windows. The water pools there and then runs into the tent about as fast as a drip coffeemaker. Look at the pics here and count the windows - that's a lot of water coming in during a storm. We were mopping the floor, and even after stretching a tarp over the tent the sidewalls leaked. Badly. The sad part is it's a well designed tent. The side door is awesome, especially with little kids who will - it's the nature of the little ones - forget to close the bug net. The door almost always closes itself. That's awesome! And the front porch area is nice. And the tent is huge for this price point. But it's not - not even close to it - waterproof. If it rains, you'll be wet. Let me say that again: If it rains, you'll be wet. I suspect a heavy dew could cause problems.TL;DR: Don't buy this tent. It leaks badly.
You may want to consider a different brand
October 7, 2014
I just ordered this Tent last Monday to take camping this past weekend. I like the design of the tent, it has a ton of room, and the screened in area was really nice, however It rained the First night and a good part of the next day. I spent the first night trying to cover all of the LEAKS with tarps, but water was coming in through the seems on the bottom of the windows, as well as some of the seems that attach the bottom to the tent to the walls. The tarps didn't do a whole lot since the RAIN FLY LEAKS TOO. I can't believe that Amazon would sell such a substandard product, and I expected a MUCH better product from Coleman, who used to be the name in Camping gear.
Leaky and clunky
March 17, 2014
This tent had huge, heavy poles and is not as simple to set up like other tents of similar size and capacity. We had a half day of light to medium rain and water leaked from the bottom seams of both windows. Coleman claims this tent to have "leak-free seams" but that was not the case at all. We had to put our plastic ponchos over both windows (attaching them to the pole clamps) just to make sure water avoids the seams.Apart from the leak, the tent was sized perfectly for our 4+pet family with room to spare and the porch proved very useful for keeping dirty shoes and wet gear outside and safe. The porch netting also helped prevent most bugs from getting inside the tent area. Best part of the tent was the hinged door. We didn't have to keep zipping up behind us since the hinged door had velcros to close.
Just my luck
August 3, 2013
Getting ready to take my first camping trip with the family. bought this tent though amazon.. liked the idea of having a screened front end and a room divider..me and the wife on one side the kids on the other.. seen some of the reviews on this tent and it seemed to have more good ones then bad...and coleman usually a good brand.. received the tent the other day and waited till the weekend to set it up and look it over.. and maybe me and the kids sleep overnite in our yard to test it out... while it was just me setting the tent up I had no trouble assembling the pieces together and raising the tent took about 15 minutes to do.. my six year old help me put the rain cover on since it was a little windy out.. while going inside the tent and inspect the insides I noticed the window closest to the door flap.. on the upper part of the window just above the seem there was a quarter sized hole.. doesn't even look like it was even sewn into the seem.. so it looks as if poor manufacturing or poor quality control.. when I received the product through ups.. the box showed no damage other then normal wear. northe box inside the tent carrier was damaged.. so the damage wasn't caused by shipment.. and just my luck when packing the tent back into its storage bag the zipper on the bag flew off... wouldn't recommend this tent.. in the process on returning this product back... went to a brick and mortar store today and happened to find a larger 10 man tent made by Ozark and 40 dollars cheaper then this one...

but they smell super plastic-ish to me
September 5, 2017
It is everything it says...but they smell super plastic-ish to me. I couldn't be in the car with them on the way to camping, so they are still airing out in a shed out back.
An ok set
July 12, 2017
As long as you don't intend to remove the pegs. They are strong and go in easily but getting them out is really hard. The green ends rotate and are not at all substantial. Pulling then out "using the supplied tool" simply bend the plastic end. Useless
Stake puller sucks, mallet is even worse. Save your money.
October 24, 2016
Just took this tent kit on it's first camping trip and I'm pretty disappointed with it. The rubber mallet head came off the wooden handle on the third stake that I was putting in the ground and the stake puller was also useless for getting the stakes out of the ground, it just doesn't give you the right leverage without bending up the plastic on the stake. The broom and dust pan performed pretty flawlessly though and the bag did a good job of holding its' items.
Save your money
August 31, 2016
Waste of money. The mallet is okay, but nothing special. The dust pan and brush are okay, but excessiveThe stake puller bent on the very first use. It's the most ridiculous stake puller I've ever seen. The stakes are sturdy, but the little green plastic bit at the top breaks easy and is useless for pulling out the stakes. The bag is cheap and the fact that it's mesh means that putting stakes into it is tricky at best.
Like 10-20 mph
July 24, 2016
First camping trip just over one month after purchasing tent 1 pole broke and seam ripped out. Hopefully they will do something by the manufacturer. So if you are in a high wind area. Like 10-20 mph. Get a smaller tent.
Ehh Me Thinks Not
May 4, 2016
Rubber mallet, cheaply made in contrast to what you might find at a hardware store but it does the job.Stakes; sharp, plastic hooks have survived their first camping trip, not enough of them.Dust Pan; too small for the tent size. . . . my badHand Broom; too small for the tent size.Overall, for the price you are getting what you pay for. I will likely just go to the hardware store for a regular size dust pan and hand broom.Best part of the deal is the mesh bag. . . . . .which you can also get at the hardware store.

Not pleased at all
September 8, 2017
Not pleased at all. The pump (with brand new batteries) died in a week, possibly because I had to fill up the air mattress twice per night. It did NOT hold air well at all. It was practically empty 1/2 way through the night so I bought a thick mattress pad so I wouldn't be laying on the bars of the metal stand. I definitely would not purchase this cot again nor would I recommend it to anyone who thinks it will last through a night. We are not heavy people so for anyone who is, good luck. Dissappointing at best.
Horrible
August 13, 2017
Won't hold air, makes tons of noise every time you move and very uncomfortable. Sorry I purchased it.
Seems to have a design flaw
August 6, 2017
In theory, I like the idea of a bigger cot-styel bed, but after a few nights on this one, it became apparent there is a design flaw. The bar down the center (even on perfectly level concrete) is slightly higher than the edges, so you end up rolling toward the edges during the night.
Strong Base, But Easily Deflates
March 22, 2017
The good: The base opened up in seconds and filled out to its full size for me to place the mattress. The bad: The mattress doesn't get firm and deflates quickly. The combination of frame and mattress is a challenge placing back in their wobbly bag.
Hoping for more.
August 16, 2016
Wanted to love this sooo much. First few hours are bliss, but mattress lost air. Also bed is very loud, fabric on the cot moves on the metal bars and makes a pretty loud noise. We slept on it for 4 nights camping and we had to blow it up again each night before bed. Bummer. We will try and find any holes and repair, crossing our fingers that will help.
You can't move without it making very annoying sounds. The frame is great
July 8, 2016
This has to be the noisiest air mattress ever! You can't move without it making very annoying sounds. The frame is great. The mattress itself didn't last at all so I ended up buying a better quality mattress to use with the frame.

February 3, 2016
The first of the weekend was fine. However the second night rained and the rain fly dripped in multiple spots through the mesh screen on the top of the tent. No one touched the tent top and it was not at a seam. When I got home I packed the tent, called Amazon, and sent the tent back. Amazon was great with the returns process. The most upsetting part of the tent was it was guarantee that the tent would not leak. So much for that.

July 16, 2017
This product is a great idea, however after one use - 2 of the stakes are bent, the pounding mallet doesn't hit hard enough to drive in the stakes, and the tool used to pull them out has bent beyond being useful!! And this was all done by a 10 and a 13 year old... these tools are simply not practical for actual use

August 31, 2016
I bought this set two years ago but am only now getting around to reviewing it.The mallet head broke off the handle the first time we used it. The stake remover bent out of shape quickly and was largely useless. No complaints about the stakes or the broom, but I ended up hammering stakes into hard ground with a rock which was less than pleasant.
Yes it is as cheap as you would think! Zoom in on the actual pictures. Get better stuff locally.
November 30, 2014
Not really worth it. I purchases it with tent. Disappointed with quality. cheap version of components. I live in Florida. Stakes won't work well in soft sand. will work in the keys (coral, very hard). On my last trip to the keys just went to hardware store and got biggest nails I could find, worked great. These stakes are just big nails with plastic heads. Again useless in sand or soft ground.Mainly thought the bag would make set worthwhile, not, useless. If I can find a better broom / dustpan combo and better rubber mallet for round same price this stuff is going back. Steak puller is a joke, bag would throw away anyway. l'm mad for buying this, foe the quality should have been thrown in for free with tent.
cheap garbage
September 5, 2014
This item is junk. The tent stakes are nice and the broom could be useful if it wasn't so small. The stake puller is made of cheap steel, and a complete waste of time and money. I broke the plastic pieces off of five of the stakes trying to pull them, and bent the puller itself. I would have to reshape every time I wanted to try to pull another stake. And the rubber mallet is not of good quality. After staking down my tent into sand the handle has come loose from the head and the rubber has started chipping away, probably from hitting metal with rubber. Go figure. It was near impossible to get about a dozen other stakes out of the ground, luckily the office had a claw hammer to get the rest out. So do yourself a favor. Go by a broom with a dust pan and a real claw hammer and save yourself the headache and the backache.
