Awesome 2-man tent for backpacking or emergency preparedness
June 2, 2017
Awesome 2-man tent for backpacking or emergency preparedness. It seems very well made, is light and compact. I was able to fit the tent(inside it's carrying case), collapsible cookware and my solo stove into 1 large tactile mole bag!!!!
Very nice little tent
September 30, 2016
Very nice little tent . Have only used twice but not with any rain so cant speak to its weather resistance. Nice and roomy for 2 adults but 3 would be crammed in like sardines . Easy to set up and light weight. All in all very happy with this tent andGreat little tent for the price point. Nice and roomy for 2 adults but 3 would be pushing it quite a bit. Have not experienced any rain in this tent as of yet so cant speak as to its weather resistance . Lightweight and easy to set up as well as a goodlooking tent. All in all very happy with this tent and Wenzel is a reputable name in the camping industry.
First Time Camper
May 16, 2016
I used this on my son's Cub Scout Overnighter. It was simple to set up and break down. It rained during the camp out and the rain stayed out of the tent, and i didn't seal it. I was a little concerned about the cover on the top because it seemed so small compared to the other campers who had covers that were way bigger, but again, the rain stayed out and that is what matters!I did purchase heavy duty stakes and used those instead of the stakes that came with the tent which were fairly thin.Overall, I would recommend it.

November 1, 2015
I have camped several times in this little tent and I love it! The 2 side windows and front screen in the door allow enough airflow to be comfortable at night. On really hot nights, any tent will benefit from a portable battery operated fan, which can be placed in the mesh bag that hangs from the ceiling. The rain fly is sufficient to cover the mesh opening at the top, and the canopy in front of the tent is sufficient to cover the screened opening in the door, should you choose to have it open during a rain storm. I did waterproof the tent with Camp Dry spray prior to my first trip. A year after waterproofing it, I went camping on a 90 degree day where it stormed heavily that night. I was able to keep the screen in the door open during the storm and never got wet or felt damp in the rain. A queen size air mattress just fits inside the tent. While I've never tried it with this tent, I have slept with 2 others on a queen size mattress during a heavy storm. So technically, in a pinch, 3 people can sleep in this tent.
Durable and easy to set up.

I've used this in multiple environments. Up in the mountains, at the Grand Canyon, in the woods... It's definitely small. I would not attempt to put more than two people who are very comfortable with each other in it. However, my fiance and I once slept in it with two small dogs and two cats when we were on the road and it was okay. It's pretty durable and while you can't stand up in it it's very good for the price. As far as setting it up, it's fairly easy. It might require some strength to put the poles in their slots, but once they're in the material will stretch so they're easier to put in next time.
Great, roomy, entry-level tent!
December 20, 2014
I purchased this in September 2013 in preparation for a camping/4x4 trip in Colorado and Utah. It was rough putting it together in the dark with 26° temps at my 11,300' campsite but it survived! Used it again a few nights in warmer weather and then stored it until Sept 2014 when I did a similar trip (see photo for a 11,305' campsite). Camped in the Colorado mountains and the Utah desert/canyons with no complaints. I used a sleeping bag and foam pad for the trip, but at a local beach campground I used a "full/double" sized air mattress with room to spare on the sides. The rain fly allows some air flow, but you'll want a fan for warm rainy days.I noticed a couple tiny pinprick holes that I should address next spring, but expect this tent to last a few more years. You'll want to upgrade the tent stakes to something stronger, but otherwise it's a great buy! The tent even fits in the carry case when I wasn't too particular about rolling it up tightly.

Perfect
June 2, 2017
This light was perfect, I have another one that was like a Lantern that I would hang in the tent and I would seem to always hit my head on it. This light was not only smaller but also lighter and brighter, and no more hitting my head. Only thing I didn't like about it is that you could recharge it but you would have to buy the charger and the batteries for it separate. Over all I highly recommend this light
Surprisingly bright!
November 1, 2016
Surprisingly bright and the 3 brightness levels are perfect. The carabiner clip is super useful as well. I used it for tailgating setup early in the morning. Certainly got noticed by my neighbors who all had headlamps on. Our canopy tent looked more like a brought a floor lamp than a tiny battery powered light. I would say you would want 1 of these per canopy tent if that's what you're using it for. Certainly for a camping tent sized for sleeping only, 1 of these will light the whole thing up. Haven't had it long enough to say how long batteries last but after about 4-6 hours of use its still going strong. Also it has a DC jack which i didn't see in the description. It doesn't come with a plug but if you already have one you're golden. Its a great light, I highly recommend it.
A Great LED Light for Tent Camping!
September 23, 2016
My favorite tent camping light! This LED hanging light is "must-have" addition to your tent camping necessities. The light has three levels of intensity and comes with a small, easy-to-use hook for hanging from a loop in your tent. It runs on three AAA or on a rechargeable battery pack that is sold separately.
Very bright!
August 15, 2016
I love this tent light! It has three modes. The high mode is very bright. It perfect at night to get ready for bedtime, especially with the kids! No more searching stuff with a flash light. Very good price too! I read with it too, on the low mode, still brigh enough!
Good control of light intensity (3 levels
May 12, 2015
Good control of light intensity (3 levels, with each level progressively turning on more LEDs starting from the center). Good size to carry and easy to hang. Even has an adaptor connection in case you use rechargeable batteries.
seems pretty durable for being so lightweight
July 9, 2014
Very bright on high setting, seems pretty durable for being so lightweight, pleasantly smaller than expected from the picture. Good tent light for the price - if you can wait for shipping. Takes about two weeks or so, but that is stated when purchased so I don't see it as a drawback. I'd recommend this.

Tent has held up really good. It's easy to put together
August 17, 2017
I took this tent camping last weekend and it rained and the bottom stayed dry. Tent has held up really good. It's easy to put together. It takes a little effort the first time because everything is new and tight but afterwards it gets a lot easier. The shape is a little odd for three people. I put a full-size air mattress in it and it just fits with a little room on each side. So far it has been a really good tent and I have enjoyed it.
Great, 3 season starter tent for the price. Keeps you dry, keeps you out of the elements.
February 22, 2016
If you just want a tent for average, every day camping, this one is hard to be beat for the price.Easy to setup - I can do it alone in 5-10 minutes.Effective - I haven't tested it in a driving rain storm, but very few tents will withstand continuous downpour. This one, for $50, will keep you dry in a light rain, and withstands the wind very well. It also breathes well, making it an excellent tent nearly year round for the southern US. I've used it 75 degrees and I've used it in 30 degrees. Works fine as a tent either way.
OK tent for casual camping experience.
January 4, 2016
Pros: Lightweight tent, sturdy construction, packs up well.Cons: Needs at least 2 people for set-up, MUST be seam-sealed or it will LEAK MAJORLY, no "tub floor" so it's not good for wet/raining areas, kind of small. This is a decent tent. It's not a great tent - it's kind of a pain to get set up and it's small, even for me at 5'5". My sleeping pad (a backpacking pad, no less) and bag barely fit in this tent at a diagonal. You really need to seam-seal it, because it leaks horribly. Even after seam-sealing mine, I took it camping in the rain and WITH the "fly" on it I still had puddles in it when I woke up.But I did get it back in the bag on the first try, so that's a plus. It's an OK tent. But more for casual camping, not serious camping.
Best tent in its budget class
July 5, 2014
I've taken this out twice now, once on a short-distance backpacking trip. Tent is well made and fit my two boys and I comfortably. D door is nice and it gets good airflow with the mesh top, windows, and door. It hasn't really rained yet, so can't say much on that. I did seal the seams though...just in case. It comes with a nice mesh netting for storing small items or a light up too and also has a pocket flap on the wall. I do recommend replacing the stakes it came with as they're a bit flimsy and rust quickly. Overall, I'm happy with it so far. A little heavy as a backpack tent, but it will do until the boys are a little older and go an go with a hammock.
Nice tent
October 19, 2013
I bought this tent for my son's cub scout camping activity. It served it's purpose so I have no real complaints. It was our first time camping so it's not like we have anything to use as a base for comparison.I would say the tent is simple to set up, but not necessarily easy. The poles seemed a tad too long and were difficult to fit into their respective spots. Some of the more experienced scout parents helped and commented that it shouldn't have been that hard to get the poles in place. The tent stakes are L-shaped metal pieces that look like very long hex keys if that helps you picture it. I was expecting plastic or metal stakes that looked more like ..well, something you could hammer through the heart of a vampire. One stake bent fairly easily since the ground was a little hard. It must be a fairly common thing as the others joked about how they buy new stakes every so often. The first thing I noticed after the tent was set up was that the rain fly was rather small compared to the other tents around us. Most tents have rain flies that cover quite a bit of the tent to direct rain away from the main tent body. The Wenzel Alpine's rain fly covers just the top portion of the tent, but it works (more on that later). This is described as a 3-person tent and from a marketing/advertising perspective, I suppose it passes as such. We had two adults, an 8 year-old, and two small bags and that was pretty much all that would fit. Three adults would probably fit as long as they weren't too tall or big and it would be rather tight. There are two windows and the front door is essentially a third window. Along with the vents at the top of the tent under the rain fly, they provide adequate ventilation. The mesh catch-all that hangs from the top of the tent is handy to place loose things such as keys and phones. There is also a mesh, pencil-case-shaped pouch near the ground on one side of the tent that is convenient. There is a mat at the front door to leave muddy shoes or whatever. The tent isn't very tall so you wouldn't be able to completely stand up inside unless you're 4' tall. The night that we camped, a thunderstorm rolled in and dumped on us for about two hours and then it rained lightly off and on for another two hours. We had a slight leak at one of the seams at the bottom of the tent where the tent attaches to the floor. It was very slight so there was no big puddle or anything overnight. I'm sure sealing the seams would be more than adequate for resolving this. Otherwise, the tent held up surprisingly well. After the storm passed, the wind picked up and it got pretty chilly. It's a three-season tent, but I'd venture to say that third season better be mild. I don't think the temperature dropped below 40, but it sure felt that way. Our sleeping bags are rated to the 30s and that was our saving grace.Overall, I'd recommend this tent if you aren't a serious camper. I thought it did a good job especially for the price. If you camp often or in less than ideal weather, I'd suggest getting a different tent. This one worked for me, though.
Former Girlscout pleased with product.
September 24, 2013
I've gone tent camping more than a few times, and this tent is on par with each of the standard tents used for camping. I bought this to go to the beach with, but I set it up at home first so I knew how much I was going to need to do with it when I got out to the beach. I was able to set it up, by myself, and it was fairly easy. The rods were difficult to get into their pockets, but with two adults working on this, it would be pretty easy to handle. It is not very well ventilated, and if it is not a windy day, expect to feel a bit warm inside of it. Living in FL, this isn't such a good thing, but I suppose in other places it might be seen as a benefit. The fabric is easy to rip, so please be careful and take care of your tent. A lot of people complain about leaks or tears, but after some bit of use, this is bound to happen. Learn how to properly take care of, maintain, and store your tent, and don't always assume everything is because of the product's quality. From what I have seen, after using the tent over time, is that it is very sturdy, and seems to keep up well over extended periods of use. If I had to buy another tent, I would probably buy this one! Really great product, and hope to use this more in the future.

Initial order had one lamp defective and they replaced it. These little lamps are very, very handy. In closet, under the hood, at the desk to shine light on things needing repairs, and oh yeah...camping. lowest setting is PLENTY bright for the tent. I keep one in car, one at desk, and one in kitchen.
great little light for camping
June 1, 2017
great little light for camping. It is plenty bright (as long as the batteries aren't nearly dead) and fairly waterproof. Just recently camped in heavy rain, and had this light hanging from the edge of our pop-up canopy. Even though the globe filled with water, the light continued to work. I tilted it to try and drain the water, which probably impacted it not working properly. However, when it stopped working, it wouldn't turn off - which is more beneficial than not turning on.Getting another one to hang inside the tent.
Surborder LED Portable Camping Tent Umbrella

My husband said he liked it very much. It has 3 light settings depending on how much light your need. We have a dark area in our motor home and he just hung it onto one of the cabinet pulls and it gave him the light he needed to read with.
Good camping light for tents, small, bright, and highly functional
September 25, 2016
Great light, very bright on high setting, functions as intended. Lightweight and small and does the job well. Later bought similar option with integrated fan to circulate air that better fit our needs and that is why the 4 and not 5 star rating. That said, quality and price make them a good buy for anyone seeking light in their tent. They definitely beat the option of reading with a flashlight or trying to navigate a tent in the dark looking for where you put the flashlight. I sternly recommend.
Amazing.
August 9, 2016
Wow, I was shocked by the amount of light these little things produce. This filled my 4-6 man tent with loads of light and I did not have it on the highest setting. I now have them around the house for emergency lights, since they fill most rooms.
Light up your campsite
June 21, 2016
These Lights are incredibly bright and are great for placing in your tent or even hanging in your house during a power outagenot sure what the battery life is as they use AAA batteries or 18650's(ecig battery) but i can say that i used it for over 20hrs and i still have not changed the batteries.they have 3 different modes and you do have to cycle thru them to get the preferred light mode.Overall I would recommend this as a small lantern to replace those big ones great for backpacking.I also want to say that this light is bright enough to use to cook at night at a campsite.worth every penny

3 stars for the impossible set up
September 2, 2017
I bought this tent for my sons first camping trip. The assembly was ok-until you reached the pole at the top. That sucker was near impossible to put in where it was supposed to go. Even adding the top pole first-I still struggled to make it fit. The kids loved the tent, the assembly was hell.
Not too bad for the price-point.
December 8, 2015
One of the included tent poles was the wrong length and I had to fix it before I could set up the tent for the first time. Also, when trying to force the wrong-length tent pole into place before realizing it was the wrong length I unraveled some of the stitching on one end of the pole-receiving-sleeve. Other than the lack of attention to detail, the tent seems pretty good. Kept me and my partner warm and dry through heavy winds and rain, with room for our full size inflatable mattress. The sides will definitely bleed water through into any absorbent fabric that touches them (as is normal for breathable water-resistant tent fabric). I fixed this by having a lightweight full-waterproof ground-cloth inside the tent to separate the clothes/bags near the edge from the tent fabric itself. A rainfly that extended all the way to the ground would prevent this problem.
and it didn't matter which one i put were i tried both ways and the pole that was longer i had to force like none other to make
October 5, 2015
it worked and had plenty of room inside. the reason i gave it a 3 is because it was a pain to set up. there are 3 poles one smaller one that ran straight up the middle and 2 others that went across. sounds simple and it is. however the 2 poles that go across are not the same length. and it didn't matter which one i put were i tried both ways and the pole that was longer i had to force like none other to make it fit. i think it was a quality control issue somehow i got a wrong pole. the other pole that went across and the smaller one that went up the middle fit into there holes in the tent fine but the bigger one was the issue and is why I'm giving it a 3/5. but it served its purpose for a little over nighter.
Like I hope you are not looking for a completely ...
September 7, 2015
While my particular trips have done well enough with this tent, there are some problems. I had this set up in one spot for the most of two weeks and used it as main base for me during the time, mostly coming back to sleep and store some gear.Like I hope you are not looking for a completely waterproof tent as it isn't as great against the rain as it could have been. I had multiple days where it had a difficult time at some of the seams from letting water drip into the tent. It seems to mostly be across the place where it goes from the wall white to the blue. While it was generally very little, it would have been worse if my trunk hadn't been protecting my weather fragile goods. While the pentagonal shape is fun and in some ways makes the putting up of the tent easier, it does make it harder to have a decent amount of space in it. Organization is key to making it the best space you can. 3 person is something that I will say is a misnomer, as it can comfortably fit 1 and be kind of snug for 2, but that seems about normal for tent advertising. For me, it was just the right amount of floor space for me, my loose stuff, and my trunk. I could fit my large sleeping mat, my sleeping bag and still have space to maneuver a little.
Great, once we got it up!
October 31, 2013
This is a very reasonably priced and attractive tent. I like it. HOWEVER, it was nearly impossible to put together. The big problem came when the poles were placed other than the FINAL maneuver when the tent pole has to be put in the little sleeve to hold it for the final task of putting it in the ground. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get the poles into the little black baggie thingie. I had my nephew helping me, and he is extremely strong and fit, and he could not make it go in. It would take a bodybuilder to do this final part of the put together! Finally, after about an hour of pulling and holding and pushing, we got three poles in, but the final pole -- never happened. In fact, it splintered! Thankfully I was able to put a brick over that part of the tent so it is upright. Thank goodness this is a permanent tent for the back yard. Otherwise, I would have to give in and throw it away if we had to go through that again. Are we the only ones that could not make this work? As said, it is very reasonably priced, and it is nice, but God help anyone trying to get those poles in the final little sleeve. It cannot be done by mere humans.
Pretty good for the price
October 10, 2010
GOOD:> Price is right. It feels like decent quality at this price. Good value.> Easy to build. Three poles and it's up. Almost can't do it wrong.> Pretty big inside. The little mesh "loft" thing is a great place to put wallet, flashlight, etc.> Pretty compact and fairly light when packed in its case.> Carrying case has good handles and is big enough to hold everything (without a ridiculously tight packing job).> The zippers work smoothly.LESS GOOD:> The rain fly is tiny. Looking at the picture, it's just that blue cap on top, maybe three feet across. That means the majority of the tent is waterproof, and thus not breathable. It needs more vents or bigger windows.> Lack of breathability means more condensation inside the tent, even in dry weather. You need to open the windows and door vents as you sleep. BUT, open windows are not waterproof any longer, so if it rains, you'll be awakened by raindrops. If you anticipate rain, you have to close all the vents, which means condensation will get you moist inside anyway...> The general construction is light. Materials are thin. I will have to be careful to move zippers slowly so I don't tear anything.OVERALL:Overall, I am satisfied. This will get us through many Cub Scout campouts, all for the price of renting a tent three times.I think a better tent in this size is the Eureka Timerline series, but it costs almost three times what this one costs. That tent has an entire roof that is breathable, with a huge rain fly. So if I had it to do over, I might just buy up to the Eureka and be done with it - the tent I'll probably end up buying at some point, anyway.

Not as bright as expected, seemed more like a 40 LED
Sorry, but don't like the bluish color
March 28, 2016
It does work as advertised. I like the 3 different brightness, low, medium and high. But the leds are bluish-white, and very harsh. I think a warmer-white would be much better. Curiously there are no instructions included, and can't find anything on-line. In addition to coming with the AAA battery holder that goes inside the light, there is also a small hole (with rubber plug) labeled "DC". Assuming that is an input from an optional external battery? No idea what kind of battery, or what voltage??
Beware, comes from China
July 2, 2015
Wish I had know it was coming from China, I try to avoid purchases from them. The product itself is ok, not a very bright light but should work ok in a small tent. Its pretty cheap so I don't expect it to last too long.
Pretty good little light for the money
January 4, 2015
Pretty good little light for the money. It looks a lot bigger in the picture than what you get, which is why the 3 to 3.5 stars. It's only about 4 inches diameter.I ordered 3 as I have a large tent and thought 2 would be fine with a 3rd as reserve but I think I'll need to use all 3 at once.It has 3 settings for differing amounts of brightness and with all the LED's lit, does give off a good light.I'm pleased with my investment and hope they last.
It's OK, not as bright as in the photos, better with 18650 than AAA's
November 7, 2014
I ordered one of these to hang in our tent on camping trips. It was listed as Amazon Prime, so I was a bit surprised when it didn't arrive after several days. The vendor reached out to us apologetically saying they had moved their offices and that the light was on its way, but it had been mailed from China, and it ended up taking several weeks to show up.I told them we needed it for an impending camping trip, and if it didn't arrive in time I would be sending it back for a full refund. They ended up letting me order a second one that arrived almost overnight, for free. The one I ordered originally finally came, after our camping trip, but we got the second one in time, so all in all, the vendor did a good job of taking care of us, and all their correspondence was very courteous and helpful. Now about the lamps: They feel kind of cheap, although they are also very small and lightweight, which could be a plus. They are designed to take a single 18650 battery, although they come with a little adapter that will accept three AAA batteries. Not having 18650's, we went camping with AAA's. The light has a little button that you click through the different settings: low, medium, high, off. Low setting only illuminates the center few LED's, medium a few more, and on high they all light up. Even on high, it doesn't really put out much light. In our case, it would work for about a minute, then quickly fade to nothing. We'd turn it off, then back on to high, same deal; a few minutes of light, then quickly nothing. So during the camping trip it was a big disappointment. We used brand new alkaline batteries, not sure what was up with that. After our trip, I was curious, so thinking I could use them for a better LED flashlight some day, I ordered a couple 18650 rechargeable batteries and a charger. Charged them up, put one in one of the lamps, AAA's in the other, and turned them both on high. The 18650 does seem a bit brighter, but it's still not nearly as bright as it looks in the product photos. Strangely, the problem with the lamps fading to no output went away. Was it a manufacturing defect, or was it crappy batteries? We left them both on for quite a while and they seemed to stay on, at least in our garage. A mystery. For less than $10, this lamp is OK, but don't expect a bright floodlight or anything. We were much happier with this light:http://www.amazon.com/d-light-Solar-Rechargeable-S20-Lantern/dp/B00BJELHS0/ref=cm_cr-mr-titlebut it also cost a bit more, is bulkier, and needs to charge in sunlight. Good luck!

sliding elastically connected poles thru pocketed material is a pain
July 29, 2015
Sliding poles in and out of pocketed material, as they hang up and catch material dislocating the elastic connected poles is arduous and difficult especially trying to engage that last end into the bottom pocket. Get the hangar type tents that clip onto the erected poles...easier up and down, in wind and rain or not.

Small
February 12, 2017
Three brightness settings of which I find them all adequate. The bright setting is fairly bright and will light up a small room or a tent. However, it is very small. It somehow matters to me. I was looking for something about two or three times the size of this light. You can put this in your pocket. Maybe some people would like that but I was looking for a large dome light. I have to start paying better attention because a lot of these products they photograph deceptively intentionally trying to make the product look larger than it is in your hand.
Only bright for 5 minutes. Disappointed.
May 31, 2016
The lights are very easy to set up and are very small yet bright when you just turn them on. Though the major problem is they start to dim about 5 minutes after they are turned on. I had brand new Duracell batteries put in. Figured maybe there is something wrong with the batteries so I but in another brand new, non-expired set of Duracell batteries with the same results. These lights are only good for the first few minutes and nothing more. Very disappointed with them as they are very small and great looking but don't last long what so ever.

Also, the battery pack is not big enough to fit firmly against the battery compartment spring - evidence of poor manufacturing processes and/or design. This product makes me think of products sold on infomercials. And as such, one can return it for a full refund; but at what cost in shipping and/or handling? Will one keep it simply to avoid the inconvenience? It would be nice to see a description of the amount of Lumens, Lux, or Watts emitted by the unit: one might be more capable of deciding to order it in the first place.Thank you for reading...

Factory reject tent?
September 15, 2017
I waited until we went camping in July to set this tent up for the first time. Unfortunately, this tent had poles that didn't fit the tents length. Finally after 3 hrs we were able to get the poles in the holes but it took 2 strong men to get the poles to bend hard enough to fit. But it was an ordeal even for them. No longer had the receipt and 'return by date' had passed so we had to throw it away. Never had a tent so difficult to set up. Very disappointed in Wenzel. Never again!
Difficult to assemble
August 14, 2017
Very difficult to assemble, wish I would have tried puttting it together when I first got it as I 100% would have returned it. Weird pole in the back that makes pentagon shape I was never able to seat in the pocket and it was a struggle for my sons scout leader to get it. Fabric just doesn't stretch enough to seat it.
Rods split after 1 use
February 14, 2017
I got this tent for a two day camping trip. It worked great during the trip but when I got home and set it back up to clean, the rods split. I'm a 5'4" 120lbs woman and I'm not that strong, so I'm pretty disappointed that it broke that easily.
So disappointed. It was not made correctly

I sent it back. We could not make the support rods fit in the pockets. After extreme effort, no luck. Had to send it back. So disappointed. It was not made correctly.
Awful setup
October 10, 2016
This tent is awful. I've been camping since I was a child, and have always been able to set up my tent by myself in 15 minutes or less. The poles on this one are almost impossible to get into the little slots; it's a two person job and 10 minutes a pole. I keep setting it up hoping the fabric will stretch a little, but so far, no luck.
Worst camping experience ever
January 31, 2016
Worst camping experience ever. I learned a lesson about water testing a tent before heading out to hike the Appalachian Trail. It rained the first night...all night. This tent leaked around all the seams leaving me and my gear wet the next morning. I had to cut my week long hike short as rain was forecast for most of the week and I couldn't spend another night cold and wet. I am a novice hiker/camper but no where did I read that the tent needed to be sealed (water-proofed) before using. Buy with caution...

Light doesn't work and can't return!
July 6, 2016
I brought it to my campaign trip the July 4th weekend and realized the item is defected. No physical damage, but couldn't turn of the light. I just missed the 7/3 return window and I just wasted my money.
Works great if you can be super careful with the product

Ended up breaking after first camping trip. Works great if you can be super careful with the product, just not built to last.
Don't do it

Poor quality. The battery door keeps falling out and rendering it useless.
A PIECE OF JUNK!!!
July 5, 2015
Very small. Much smaller than I expected. Does not work. Put new batteries in twice. Light does not come on. A piece of junk. This is going in the trash. Not worth the effort to return. Had to give it one star because it would not submit without it.

Broke after using two times. The part that allows the batteries to connect to the housing broke after using this lantern twice. We opened the housing to replace batteries for the third trip just in case we would run out and it was broken. I can't even return it.
More garbage from China
March 28, 2015
At first seemed like an ok, maybe 3 star or 4 star product. The concept is fantastic to have a hanging led lamp for the tent. In fact, the hanging part work perfectly, looks good and conceptually functional.Out of box worked well and would almost give it a 5. Took it camping last month, and dropped to 4 stars, as I saw some of the led lights begin to flicker. Not a deal killer and would bother to replace as it was not so noticeable. Now, 1 month in and many of the led lights are flickering. Showing to be a very poor quality product. If you are buying for one trip, and expect to get limited time use out of this, then go for it and buy. If you plan to have around for multiple trips, then maybe don't buy it.To me it is just another knock off Chinese garbage product.
