Works amazing! Used this for my new couch that pilled about 4 months into having it, didn't take long to do and it works awesome. The couch looks brand new again, definitely recommend buying it.
This thing is excellent.

I'll keep this short because there are so many other great reviews. This thing is excellent. I just "repaired" 2 cashmere sweaters and one modal blend jersey top to like new condition. The waste compartment fills up quickly and will start clogging the blades if not emptied frequently. I will share one trick I found for emptying the area around the blades. Remove the waste compartment and hold the unit vertically over a garbage can while turning the defuzzer on. Blades will spin and the rest of the pills will fall out. Enjoy.
Worked Great on Sofa Tattered by Cat!
July 30, 2014
When my cat left a leased sofa in tatters, I thought for sure I was going to lose my deposit for damages. However, I purchased the Conair CLS1 Fabric Shaver in hopes that I could shave down some of the loose threads and it worked much better than I ever imagined. The damage was fairly severe. Some threads were pulled out an inch or more. It looked like someone had taken a metal comb and shredded the fabric. The Conair CLS1 Fabric Shaver requires 2 double A batteries and it makes a high pitched "whirring" sound but was not too loud (it WAS loud enough to scare the cat, which I felt he deserved). There are three settings that are indicated on the dial that will allow you three different levels of contact to the fabric. I started out on the longest setting for the longer threads and it took care of those nicely. On my second pass, I turned the dial to the lowest setting and after several passes I could not detect ANY scratches at all. This clothes shaver restored the appearance of the fabric completely. Both arms of the sofa were damaged along with some of the areas on the back. In all, it took about 25 minutes to restore the appearance of the entire sofa.I am very pleased. For less than $20 I was able to save myself $300. One word of caution however, I was so happy with the results of the shaver that I decided to work on one of my old favorite blouses that I thought had too much fabric lint to be saved. I began working on it while it was on the hanger--DON'T DO THIS! It must be on a flat surface. A small piece of the fabric got caught in the shaver and now I have a HOLE where the lint used to be. So, now the blouse really IS toast! Its a shame too, because the shaver was really taking care of the lint on the blouse--it would have been restored to its original appearance as well.
Great Value!

So I didn't think it through when I threw some dark shirts and sweaters in the wash with a couple of light towels. They came out with all those fuzzies. I ordered one of these based on the price and avg. customer review and I can see why this was rated so high. Takkes two AA batteries and is very comfortable to hold. Since it's so portable, I just sat on the couch to watch tv and shaved two shirts and a pair of cottony exercise pants while watching tv. I probably would have never worn these items (at least not outside the house!) again if it wasn't for this great little gadget.
BEST SWEATER SHAVER EVER!
December 12, 2013
I've owned different shaver brands. One had the option of plugging into an outlet. Not one came close to how effective this one removes pilling. I could not believe how quickly the collection compartment filled.A couple of tips:. Because it removes more pilling than others, the collection compartment will fill rapidly, so keep an eye on it so pilling doesn't get jammed into the head.. If it gets too full, with the collection compartment off, turn on the shaver over a waste basket, as there will be pilling that collects in the head, and a lot will fall out without having to use tweezers. Depending on how badly it has overfilled, you may still have to use tweezers to get everything out of the head.. Occasionally, unscrew the head & remove pilling from the blades. There were no directions regarding the settings, but when you turn the outer ring that controls the distance from the fabric, you will easily see when it moves which settings are which. The shortest mark puts the blades closest to the fabric.I would change two things about this shaver:. The collection compartment is much too small, so you will need to stop very often to empty it. I couldn't even do one sleeve of a sweater without having to empty the collection container several times.. The collection container should be made of clear plastic so that you can see as it fills. If it were clear, you wouldn't have to stop & check on it so often.GREAT Xmas gift. The giftee will love you for this one.

These Lint Rollers Are Worth Every Dollar! These Are A "Must Have!"
November 16, 2016
Wow! These Scotch-Brite Lint Rollers can really get lint off of clothes! I was thoroughly satisfied the first time that I used these rollers! They do a remarkable job getting dirt, lint, hair, almost anything off of clothing! For example, my black, dress suit had a lot of lint and hair on it, so I used the Scotch-Brite lint rollers, and my suit almost looked brand new when I was done cleaning it off with these lint rollers! I'd recommend these lint rollers to anybody! They are worth every dollar spent!!
A great product
June 17, 2016
These lint rollers are excellent. We have a long haired, white cat and despite constant cleaning, still manage to get little hairs stuck to me. This is the first time I've purchased lint rollers off of Amazon, but did so because of Prime and my lack of motivation/time to go to the store for a few days. Anyway, I'm really glad I bought these because they work better than anything I've ever used in the store. First, they are quite large and strong so you can get your entire outfit cleared off in one sticker (normally it takes 2 stickers to get everything "off"). Secondly, they turn easily, so you're getting an even removal of lint/fur/whatever. I would recommend and will order this product again in the future.
I love these for cleaning up pet hair and keep them ...
March 7, 2016
I love these for cleaning up pet hair and keep them handy wherever my cat likes to sleep. Cleaning hair off furniture is a breeze with them, but one day, I decided to go to the source. Now my cat comes running for a "massage" whenever she hears the roller! I don't press hard so it doesn't pull hair. It has definitely helped cut back on her hair on my bed, chairs, couch, and so on...

After several months using these, now my cat comes running when she hears me take the cover off! Loves her massage...
BEST LINT ROLLERS FOR THE MONEY
March 11, 2015
With 4 pets in the house we can accumulate a lot of hair on furniture and clothing that is hard to vacuum. Using a lint roller seems to work the best. We had been buying them at WalMart but they are kind of pricey. Amazon seems to have the best pricing of anywhere if purchased in this 5-pack. As far as the quality and functionality goes.....the Scotch-Brite rollers have outperformed any off brand or store brand rollers we have used in the past many years. They are plenty sticky, you can actually find the sheet edge and peel and tear off used sheets quite easily. The next sheet stays put while rolling until you decide to tear it off. Also, unlike off brand rollers that usually do not even roll, the Scotch-Brite rollers actually do roll on clothing and furniture. We even roll them over the cat to collect loose fur before it falls off (she thinks it's a "roller massage"). It's hard to find cheep rollers and since you gotta pay good money for them, might as well get the good ones.
Great For Four Cat HouseHold
July 29, 2012
I am really happy with these Scotch Brite Lint Rollers which come in a bundle of five.I started out with one cat and now and then I would need a Lint Roller to get some hair off my clothes or orr the furniture. I increased the cat count to two and one roll around the house was still adequate to control things. THEN I adopted two homeless kittens to finish out "my family" and was still OK with a roller or two UNTIL SUMMER CAME.Who knew cats could shed so much. Two of my cats were traumatized when I decided that shaving that hair off was the best idea in town. Like nitwits, the two did not recognize each other without their poufy hair and I thought I would go crazy during the two months it took them to regain their senses and become friends again. I thought of taking all four to be shaved this summer and just let things roll as they would, but after the feline hysterics of the previous summer, I rethought that and purchased this Lint Roller Special. It has become a staple in my home.1. My cats all love to be brushed with it and it saves oodles of random hair from ending up on furniture, the carpet, the wall, me or my friend's black pants. Three to five sheets are allotted to each cat each day and it makes a HUGE difference in the amount of stray hair flying around. Yes, I also use a Furminator, but all equate this with petting and cuddling and like it best. FURminator Long Hair deShedding Tool for Large Cats2. My furniture is grateful for these rollers: No matter the means I use to keep the cats off the furniture, or the covers I put on the furniture so the cats can do as they please, stray hairs still abound. So, every 3 days, I go over all my furniture and get the fur off. If company is coming, the furniture gets an extra run over and is very thankful for the care. One friend just said "I can't believe your furniture stays in such good condition considering you have four cats. Other measures are employed from time to time such as anti scratching tape, furiture covers, especially on the back of the couch and chairs [ASIN:B0006NE4QC Sticky Paws]]and sometimes and sometimes K&H Furniture Pet Cover for Couch, Tan, but the most consistently used thing is the tape in the 5 roll pack.3.Lint rollers kept in guest rooms, all bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. Like Kleenex, these Lint Rollers are now found in all my extra rooms. Guests can make sure they are not leaving with hairs hiddend here or there in their clothing, or on their luggage. Many times I just roll the roll across a bathroom floor. I cannot believe how much cats shed, but have you ever noticed how much HUMANS shed? People loose an average of 100 hairs a day from their heads. In my need to clear the place of cat hairs, I have become amazed at how many human type hairs abound!!!4. Use before sending things to the Dry Cleaner. Sometimes I feel like a babe in the woods because of the minor points I have missed in life. Several years ago, I fell in love with a Navy Blue Christmas Vest. It was DRY CLEAN ONLY. I put it in with my things to be cleaned and forgot about it. The next year I took it out to wear and it was COVERED with cat hair. It never occurred to me that Dry Cleaning Fluid, unlike water, would not remove hair. So, I spent forever getting the hairs off the vest. Now I know. If there are hairs on things going to the dry cleaner, Use the Scotch Roller before sending them off.5. Crevaces and Corners. If you are one of those blessed with a hairy pet who adores you, you know that his adorable hair floats gracefully through the air as you pet him, groom him, or as he trots about your home. Therefore, you have probably also found that the nooks and crannies in your house, the books in the book cases, and edges of rugs etc etc abound with hair you never thought about. The Scotch roller is a great solution. It will pick those up in no time flat.I have found These Scotch Roles of Tape to be indespensible in my home of felines and people. You can always drag out the vaccumn, or a brush if you have the time, but these rollers are life savers under all conditions. Before you depart the house, roll the extra hair off you, the children, your husband, and guests. If people are dropping over, quickly clean the furniture of stray hairs before they arrive. Black slacks are SO unattractive with long silver cat hairs abiding! Kitties in a tussle on the bathroom floor, then roll over it with this tape and all is well. Small spaces trap hairs. When you have time, get them clean. I use these day in and day out and think they are marvelous. I always have an extra roll of 5 on hand since I am so well blessed with loving kitties. If you have fur friends of any type, I think you will find that these keep you defurred and help keep your house a home by swiftly getting that lovely hair OUT OF THE WAY AND OUT OF THE HOUSE!

A productive evening in
August 4, 2017
Ok boys and girls we all know that these gadgets defuzz your sweaters, remove pilling from your socks and provide your kids with 5 mins of entertainment watching you remove lint from a blanket. The good bits:Large surface area --think silver dollar pancake -- larger than travel size units.Fun colors to choose fromAdjustable distance to blade allows you to use on variety of materialsCordless--you can take your defusing unit on a goodwill tour around your home or across the country! The minus a star bits:Reservoir for lint is very small--remove lint from sleeve--empty. Remove pilling from one sock--empty. Very annoying.Reservoir can cling to lint with the will of a junior high romance that doesn't know when to quit. You may have to blow air into the reservoir to clear it all out. Even tapping it didn't remove all the debris. So grab your favorite Fall sweater, and a trash can for all your lint, and enjoy a quiet evening in.
Works well, but goes through batteries quickly.
January 24, 2017
Works well, but goes through batteries quickly.I put two new Duracell batteries in, and started de-fuzzing a stack of knit clothing - sweaters, maxi skirts, etc. One sweater had lots of pilling under the arms, and on the shoulders (from carrying a heavy backpack), and the other items were only lightly pilled. I finished two sweaters and one skirt before the batteries started draining, which took about two 45-minute sessions of de-fuzzing. It is still working, but you can hell that it is spinning more slowly. On the second sweater, I didn't notice that there was a loose thread, and it got pulled into the machine and caused a small hole. I had no issues with any holes other than this one, which I think was my fault. I was moving quickly and didn't see the thread until it was too late.I only use this on a flat surface, and I keep the fabric pulled smooth and tight. I think that this helps with preventing snags. I have used a large commercial AC version of this machine, which cost over $100, and it also caused holes and snags when the fabric was bunched up or when it pulled in a thread. You just need to keep the fabric flat, and move slowly, and keep the machine level on the fabric. After de-fuzzing three garments, I had emptied the lint trap about six times, and accumulated a baseball-sized ball of lint. I would say that this machine works well when used properly. It removed lint that I didn't see from the fabric, and left the items looking like new (aside from one small hole, which was my own fault.)One star off for battery life. I should be able to get more than a few hours of use before it drains two new batteries.
Not bad at all. Only negative: instructions are a bit unclear.
February 25, 2016
You have to pass it over the same spot a couple times to really get all the lint and pills, so it can be just a tiny little bit time consuming, but it leaves clothes looking cleaner. In the instructions it says not to press down on the fabric you're trying to shave, but I've found that if I don't press down, it doesn't actually shave any smaller pills/lint.Minus one star for the fact that the instructions are a bit vague on how to remove the cover/shield thing that protects the blade and it wouldn't turn on because the shield wasn't placed properly. I thought I had received a defective shaver so you might check the protective shield if yours doesn't turn on at first.Note: I accidentally ran it over my skin and it didn't do any damage, so that's a plus.
It works. Really.
November 29, 2015
I was dubious, so I bought two sweater pill removal devices. This one arrived first. I put the two AA batteries in it and gingerly started "shaving" an inexpensive but sumptuously soft cashmere sweater that I don't wear anymore because it's all pilled up.It works.I "shaved" the first sweater and then moved on to renovate four other sweaters in my closet. I am delighted and wish I had had one of these things years ago.Two comments: First: if you don't shave the entire sweater, it will be apparent that it is partially shorn. You need to go over the whole thing. Can't just do under the arms. Secondly, the motor filled with sweater fuzz and that slowed the motor down quite a bit. The fuzz-holder cup was not very effective. However I was happy to empty it out a couple of times per sweater for the results I got.

November 18, 2015
I run a small clothing business and needing this to remove lint from our garments. What I love:It's easy to hold and does not hurt your hands, even with prolonged use. It's quietThe cartridge is easy to remove and emptyHas different settings on the head depending on how close of a shave you needWhat I don't love:This thing eats batteries like crazy! Keep in mind that I'm using it almost every day, but I didn't expect for it go through so many so often. I'm going to have to switch over to rechargeable batteries. When changing the batteries, it's difficult to put the battery opening back on. I struggle with it every. single. time. The motor isn't that strong and I have to go over garments for a few minutes.Overall, it's a good buy for non-professional use, but I think I'm going to keep my eye out for something more heavy duty.
Good Light Duty Defuzzer
December 27, 2014
This is a great little defuzzer. I used it today on a thin pair of lounge pants, a thick wool pea coat, and an electric blanket. It worked for all of the fabric types. The defuzzer is easy to disassemble without any tools. Which is good because after my tests, there was fuzz everywhere (in front of the blades, behind the blades, on the outside, inside the receptacle, etc.) so I took it apart and gave it a good cleaning. I used a small brush that came with an electric razor I bought and it was very helpful to get in all the nooks and crannies. It would be nice if the defuzzer came with something like this.Note that this is a small handheld battery operated defuzzer so it has some limitations. The electric blanket is probably a bit of a stretch for this little guy. It had significant large pilling (see before and after photos of cream blanket) so the container had to be emptied several times while defuzzing my 2' x 2' test area. If/when I decide to do the whole thing it will be very time consuming and maybe max out the defuzzer. If you are looking for something to defuzz a few jackets and sweaters, this should do the trick but for anything bigger than that you may be better served by a more heavy duty tool.

Best we have used so far
September 18, 2017
These are decent. We use em to mainly remove cat hairs from our clothes. they are not so sticky that they unwind themselves yet still do a wonderful job at what they are intended for. I use em while cleaning the car interior on the back dash where it is hard to reach. Also use em by taking one off the roller and attaching to a yard stick to obtain cat toys under the curio. And with 95 sheets per roll in a 5 pack they last quite a while.
I should buy stock in this company I go through so many of them.
March 11, 2016
Works well. Picks up all the kitty fur on my black leggings.I keep on in my bedroom, one in my bathroom, and one near the front door for those last-minute pick-ups. Oh, the car is also a great place to keep one. Not only do they work great on clothes, but on cloth car seats as well. The only annoying thing is sometimes, the paper will stick, and unwrap a few times, wasting a few sheets. But they're big enough, it's not a major flaw. Also, most of the time, I can use those stray sheets to pick up some hair that I missed.
It rolls, it picks up lint, and other cool stuff!
December 5, 2015
The sheets generally rip cleanly, the adhesive picks up lint and other small debris without damaging fabrics, everything rolls smoothly, and the package is relatively cost effective.I personally use lint rollers to keep my oversized cloth mouse pads clean and debris free, although I do occasionally use them on cloths. They work both for my atypical use, and for the more common removal of lint.Interesting note: the sheets are made of a plasticy fabric rather than the typical paper sheets you find on other lint rollers.
Four Stars
February 25, 2015
I really like the quantity of this entire package. It was whole a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I am currently living in a dorm and I think this amount will save me some for next year. But these Scotch-Brite Lint Rollers are too sticky!--let me clarify this: of course it needs to be sticky, that I know, but they are often not separatable once the both sticky sides are attached. I hope that the company makes it less sticky. Another thing is that these are too much paper-like quality. I was using other lint roller that had was much thicker than that of Scotch. Thicker sticky plastic papers are easier to use and much more efficient to clean. But overall, I'd like to say that I like this item.
Good Value - Have had better, have had worse
March 16, 2013
At the time I bought this, the amazon picture showed the pink cancer-benefit product, but I actually received the standard scotch-branded version in the mail. Fine with me.I like the stickiness of these rolls - they do a good job compared to some knock-off brands. The two things that I'm NOT crazy about compared to others I've used: 1) The individual sheets require a little bit of effort to tear off. If you don't start the tear yourself, you will just pull the next sheet off with it. Another roller I had from a different brand tore PERFECTLY without any effort. You just yanked the old one and it would come off leaving the next one intact. Not a big deal, but just thought I'd mention it. 2) The rolls themselves seem a little loose on the handle, and if you use too much pressure or are too rough in your rolling, the rolls will work themselves OFF the handle. Once this happens with a roll, it will be prone to continue doing it for the rest of the roll. So just don't be too overzealous with the rolling! The main benefit to this product is it's value compared to buying it in the store where they are priced for crazy people.

The design have room for improvements.
October 23, 2017
The defuzzer is easy to disassemble without any tools. However, I noticed that most of lints got stuck behind the blades, and the shape of the receptacle is too narrow which might be the reason why the lints didn't get to push down from the blades to the receptacle. Because of its design, I need to disassemble very often to get it clean so it could work better. Also, because the receptacle is colored and sit behind, it's not easy to see how much lints is inside. It didn't come with the little brush for cleaning so I am wondering maybe the other brand (Beautural) might work better and cost less too.
Terrific at its task, but let down by its stupidly tiny bin, with stupidly tiny opening
April 19, 2017
As others stated, the bin is just way too small, and fills up quickly. Its inlet is also so small that sometimes the stuff bunches up, and won't fall down into the bin, so it acts like its full, even though its not. the small opening also makes emptying the bin a messy affair. You gotta shake it to get the stuff out, which means its gonna fly into the air like so much colored dust.Otherwise this thing is terrific. the tiny bin, and tiny bin opening, really ruins an otherwise exceptional product. You would think this wouldn't be such a difficult thing to get right.
Not the fabric shaver of my dreams, but... it's alright
February 17, 2017
I haven't been able to find ANY fabric shaver that actually works well. I got before an expensive one that had a cord but it was a big flop that even short circuited at one point. So I bought this one, which I still need to disassemble quite often to clean up the lint, and not just the reservoir but the WHOLE THING (sometimes two or three times for one large sweater). At least this one didn't cost too much money and it's battery operated so no fear to start a fire or getting electrocuted. I am still waiting for the perfect fabric shaver to appear in my life! :-)
It works, slowly... to be so big
August 17, 2016
It doesn't work as well as I think it should or as fast as the smaller, palm sized version that I used to have. (It was lost in one of my too many-moves and roommates.)It is big and takes up space and doesn't stand up which is annoying so I keep it in the box it came in which is big and not the easiest to get in& out of.Adjustable head seems nice but I am only able to use it on the shortest margin so far using it on socks, sweaters, and blazers.I prefer my former smaller, faster operator.
Does the job, low battery life though
April 28, 2016
I use this tool to shave wool dryer balls. I've found that it does the job. It has 3 different settings which I like because of the different fabric stretching and thicknesses and it definitely gets the pills off my dryer balls. My main complaint is that it eats batteries. I used it on about 20 dryer balls which would probably equal about 2 sweaters worth of shaving and the batteries died and had to be replaced. Otherwise, it does the job.
I would say it's fine for sweaters that do not get many fuzzies
January 25, 2016
I have few chunky sweaters and a jacket that after wearing it gets those fuzzy balls, that's why I bought this item. After using it on one sweater it got "clogged" (not from the bottom part, which you remove and clean) and stopped working. Just as I was ready to pack it up and send it back I noticed that you can take off the metal part and clean the "blades". The fuzz was wound up tight but after that it was ok and working again. I would say it's fine for sweaters that do not get many fuzzies. It is annoying to stop and super clean the defuzzer in the middle of the process.

No Longer Liking Product
May 7, 2017
Not sure what was done to this product since I last purchased however I'm not happy when trying to roll the tape it unravels while rolling. When purchased in the past I never had that problem and now I do.
Tough to tear off
November 11, 2016
They stick and roll just fine, but they tear horribly. The sheets are more plastic-like as opposed to paper, so tearing off each used sheet doesn't go smoothly. I could use one hand and my pinkie finger to quickly rip off a sheet from my old generic rollers, but with these I literally have to stop and use both hands to look for the connnection then break them apart. I suppose the price was worth it though; it's just a matter of inconvenience.
Moderate Function
August 19, 2016
These seem to want to sell themselves on the sheets not tearing... which really just means they don't have insane stickiness? They get off most lint with one or two passes, so I'll keep using the ones I got - but I have certainly used other rollers with better performance.
This works good but not great
June 13, 2016
This works good but not great. Its awesome you get so much in a pack but I wish it pick up more lint and pet hair. It works but you would need a few past to get the job done. The most annoying thing about this roller is how hard it is to remove the old sheet for the new one, it would work better is the cut is diagonal and not just straight vertical cuts.
I wasted half of the rolls before I discovered a little ...
February 13, 2015
I wasted half of the rolls before I discovered a little trick. When you tear into a new sheet and it doesn't stay attached to the rest of the roll-instead of tearing that section off to get to the next one-roll it in the opposite direction a few times and the sheet will adhese to the rest of the roll. I was pretty annoyed by how often this was happening until I discovered this trick.
For $2.50 a roll and with that brand name
December 26, 2012
I expected more than I got. I accept that most lint rollers don't do the greatest job, and that's okay.I would not buy these again, the paper base seems so thin that they can't put that much adhesiveon it. That's how they feel to me. I've used only a couple of lint rollers that really made me say WOW,and unfortunately I can't find them any more. For about $.08 to get that last second dog hair off of yourjacket, I think they serve their purpose. I'll rate 3/5 stars and keep looking. But it'll be a little while since I have 4 rolls left to use! (As an afterthought, I realize that these are NOT the item thatis pictured. Others have said the same thing. They ARE Scotch BRITE, but NOT Scotch as the pic shows. They use SCOTCH BRAND ADHESIVE, and also, each roll says that they're perfed appropriately for an easy tear. That is NOT the case. Standing by my 3/5 stars.

I kept doing it and finally got a fuzzy sweater to look like new, but it was not a fun experience
March 6, 2017
The small receptacle that collects the fuzz is too small. I kept having to stop defuzzing and pick lint out of that area with tweezers. I kept doing it and finally got a fuzzy sweater to look like new, but it was not a fun experience. I would not buy this again, and I cannot recommend it.
Room for improvement
January 18, 2017
My previous experiences with Conair products have been largely positive. Unfortunately, after trying out this wool shearer I was not happy with this purchase. My primary complaint is that the rotating shears become bogged down with wool after ~20 seconds of shearing as a result of wool fibers accumulating and tangling the main axle in the central hub assembly. To alleviate this problem, the device must be stopped and the tangled wool must be removed from around the central axle; I used tweezers to accomplish this task as the plastic housing obstructs most points of entry. I used this device on two different fabrics and observed the same result, leading me to conclude that this is a general design flaw of the device. During operation the small fabric collection bin also fills rapidly and requires frequent emptying; though annoying, I would not consider this attribute alone, to be a deal-breaker. To be clear, this device does work; it does shear loose fibers from garments and it was very inexpensive. However, it does have these design flaws and I feel that the efforts required to maintain proper operation of this device are off-putting and I'll be looking for a new, different device to replace this one.
Bad design makes it difficult to use.
December 19, 2016
If you've read other reviews, this will come as no surprise. But let me break it down clearly.1) The compartment for the fuzz is small. Others complained of this, but I had imagined that maybe they were trying to defuzz something large. I literally had to empty it out 3-4 times to defuzz one single sweater.2) Not only that, but the fuzz doesn't really come out easily. It took a lot of work with a tweezers to get all of the fuzz out of the compartment.3) The power is really weak, so it just slowly stops working as fuzz builds up.4) The instructions are bad. I know - how complicated could it be? But, for example, it has 3 settings... with no indication of which is which or how to use them.5) Batteries not included. No shocker, but remember to get them. (The battery cover also wasn't easy to get back on.)Overall, did it work? Yes. But it was a pain in the butt, and took like 20-30 minutes to defuzz a single sweater. I'd highly recommend getting a different one.
Hole chewer not fuzz collector
August 16, 2016
I had a lot of pills on the side of my yoga pants and attempted to use this to shave them off. This device dos shave some off but ended up cutting a hole in my pants. I was glad i tried it out first on a cheaper pair rather than my Victoria's Secret yoga pants. I would only recommend using this on a bulky sweater or somethings that will not matter to you if it is destroyed.
Works, but collection chamber doesn't allow more than a small amount in, and the blade clogs repeatedly
January 31, 2015
Not worth returning, it does defuzz, but you have to take it apart constantly because the skinny little collection chamber is too narrow to allow the fuzz to enter properly, and then the spinner blade slows down and stops because it ends up clogging around the blade. I have to take the metal cover off and pop the blade out, along with the collection chamber, and sometimes use tweezers to get it cleaned out. Somehow the fuzz escapes the device, as well, and winds up on me and whatever surface I'm working on. Otherwise, I guess it works. I think these things are all pretty much the same, but my old cheapie travel sized defuzzer had a bigger area for collecting the fuzz and it stayed contained. Only stopped working when the chamber got full.
Turns Off Constantly, Flawed Design
January 5, 2015
Such a shame, bad lint trap design. It's fast, it's sharp, it works for 5 minutes and then turns off. You have to clean out the lint every 5 minutes to keep it working, but it continues to get hot and slows down until it just won't turn on for hours. The lint chamber is big, but lint never makes it there, then starts backing up into the blades. The power is the best of the four fabric shaver's I've tried after my old one stopped working when I cleaned the lint out. I've tried Evercare (decent but not as much power), Walgreens generic brand (the worst), and The Remington (about as good as Evercare, maybe better, but lighter and easier to hold).

Do not work that well.

I really don't like these lint roller's. I don't think they do a great job of getting went up off of clothing. The paper seems very flimsy and isn't very effective. I regret buying such a large pack of them.
Defective..
July 12, 2017
Good product but one of the roller was defective, it had somehow stuck to the roller and doesn't work.Better off buying in the store so you can check for defects. Didn't open it in time to return it.
Great pet-hair removal with a SERIOUS design flaw.
January 29, 2017
I was looking for a roller that would be able to remove all of the hair from my seasonal shedding husky. I noticed this roller had some of the highest reviews and it was price a good price for a pack of 5. When it works, this thing does in fact have the stickiness to remove most hair. The big issue I have is when you are finished with a sheet and you start a new one you have to go REALLY slow. Otherwise, from one quick rollover the sheet will stick and will continue to pull out the rest of the sheets. I went through one full roll (95 sheets) and seriously probably wasted at least 30 of those sheets due to this issue.
Don't buy them
November 26, 2016
Nice big rolls, nice and sticky thats why I gave them 2 stars not one. Really deserve the one star. First roll I opened was not perforated so you have to cut off the used part with scissors, giant pain in the neck. The newly cut end does not adhere to the roll properly so you have an unraveling roll while trying to get the pet hair or whatever off your clothing, It's just a giant mess and not worth the aggrevation
Would not recommend
November 20, 2016
I honestly didn't like these. I bought it because it was a good price for the amount but the sticky pads don't tear well and all the pads seem to unravel. It's actually really annoying. I should have paid extra to get a better brand but I really had no idea. Scotch-Brite should stick to making tape. I actually ended up giving these away.
So disappointed in these
October 1, 2013
I've always used Evercare Lint Rollers. I have 3 long-haired cats and have used Evercare for at least 10 years. Decided to try these because they were a few cents cheaper. Never again. They don't have the stickiness that Evercare does and it takes more sheets and more time rolling over the same areas to pick up cat hairs and lint. Going back to what I know is a better product.

Dead on 2nd use
October 7, 2017
I am so mad!!!! I bought this 32 days ago. Just used it for the first time 4 days ago. Worked great! I loved it and was so excited! Went to use it on a fleece blanket I washed that pilled (I called it pooped) all over! Started using the shaver and after a quarter of the blanket it started to sound slower. I emptied the catch. Another quarter (half the blanket) and the darn thing straight up died! I turned it off and then back on. Came back to life until I tried shaving. Then it died again. I tried new batteries and again turned on but died once I tried shaving. I’m so angry mostly because I’m 2 days too late to return. UGH!!! If you want a good shaver buy this one:Gleener Ultimate Fuzz Remover Fabric Shaver & Lint Remover
Don't buy this product

This is a piece of junk. It does not defuzz. It barely makes contact with the material. And the worst part--I cannot return it. When I tried, Amazon just said the product was not eligible for return and to read Amazon's return policy--which is like trying to decode the Rosetta Stone. So I will just run over it with my car. I've been a Prime member since it started. Really getting disappointed in Amazon as it is going downhill.
Does Not Work!
July 8, 2017
I was very much looking forward to using this little device to remove piling/fuzz from some well-loved sweaters faster than I can manually. Not only is this far worse than manual tools, it barely removes any fuzz at all. Moreover, to remove the small amount of piling/fuzz that it is capable of takes a ridiculously long time.
Lint rollers definitely remove fuzz better than this
May 14, 2017
This doesn't work well at all. Lint rollers definitely remove fuzz better than this.I was too busy to return it within the return window, so I'm stuck with it and haven't used it since I first got it.
Cut a HUGE hole in my shirt the second I used it....
March 31, 2017
Bought this to remove some pilling on some of my expensive LuLaRoe tops and leggings, and the second I used it, it immediately cut a HUGE HOLE in a 35.00 shirt that is now worthless.Needless to say I am NOT happy and will be returning this product for a refund immediately.
probably why there is a hole in my favorite sweater. I'll try other methods
March 14, 2017
There are not any instructions with this product -- so if you're not extremely careful, you can put a hole in your fabric! No instructions also don't allow you to know which setting is which - again, probably why there is a hole in my favorite sweater.I'll try other methods.

Useless product if you have cats that shed hair
July 20, 2017
I have two cats, one of which is an American Medium hair breed. Sheds quite a bit of hair. This product hardly did the job on my sheets. It could only remove part of the cat hair; and is more suited for picking up dust and lint from the sheets. I used probably 10% of one roller and then left the entire set as it is. Had to give it off for free to others.
The roll does not turn over easily when rolling and gets stuck in onw position
March 26, 2017
Garbage! They do not roll half of the time!!The roll does not turn over easily when rolling and gets stuck in onw position..Also sometimes the sheets unroll when you are trying to roll them
Terrible
October 23, 2016
When trying to roll it on your clothing it comes unraveled and 3-4 sheets are then useless. The sheets don't tear off when you get to the last third of the roll - you have to use scissors. Also MUCH cheaper to buy at Costco - the exact same thing is $8.89.
NOPE. These are not the best option.
September 18, 2016
I'm super disappointed with these. I could post a video of me rolling the same section of my couch over and over with new sheets and you'd see the frustration. Or the roll sometimes slipping off the handle and it stops rolling. Which once isn't a big deal- but when you think of that happening the 500 times over the life of this purchase that annoyance builds up. Or finding and ripping the used sheets off- they rip poorly or fold over. All these little annoyances add up and tell me that scotch brite didn't think this one through at all. If you want to hire me to fix this product- give me a call. Or if you want to replace or refund it- let me know.
Awful! Sheets don't ever tear apart - not sure ...
July 2, 2016
Awful! Sheets don't ever tear apart - not sure where the guarantee comes into play! Not nearly as effective as removing lint or pet hair as Evercare brand. Definitely won't buy this product again.
Sheets do not stay on the roll!
May 8, 2016
Like another reviewer stated the sheets do not stay on the roll! The label clearly states tears cleanly guarnateed, it will not let me upload photos to show what I mean. Terrible quality, super thin and not sticky. Going back to my Evercare super sticky lint roller!
