Five Star Reviews: | 58% Really Get's the Hair Out July 1, 2017 This is a great little brush for getting out pet hair. I use it on my blankets on the bed, on the couch, and on rugs and it gets so much hair out, even when it doesn't look like any hair is there, this brush finds it and gets it out. I love it and wouldn't be without it. I first heard about this brush after a review that was done on Floppycats.com and I was convinced to try it. I am glad I did as this brush really does a great job at getting the hair out and with a Ragdoll cat, there is plenty of hair everywhere. Highly recommended. Amazing product! June 24, 2017 It is seriously amazing how well this brush works! I have 5 cats and a little long haired dog so a lot of pet hair is dealt with in my house. I tried this out on the sofa and recliner with excellent results and little effort but what really impressed me was how well it worked on the carpet covered cat 'condos' that had layers of really hard to remove cat fur on. I've used vacuums and sticky pet hair remover tapes on these but was never able to get them very clean. The brush worked SO well and now my cat condo/scratcher stands are the cleanest they've been in a long long time. Really pleased with this product and so glad I ordered it! YOU NEED THIS IF YOU HAVE A DOG ON YOUR FURNITURE! June 5, 2017 I have an expensive microfiber couch and a small dog that lays all over it. My big dog brushes against the sides and sneaks to lay on it at night. SO THIS THING IS GREAT! I use it every morning to push the chihuahua and boxer hair to a pile and then pick it up with a damp cloth, or brush it onto the floor to vacuum up. I am getting everyone I know one with pets of these for stocking stuffers because they are great for pet hair. It doesn't pick it up but it pushes it into a perfect pile for me to grab. I wish it wasn't so expense but it is well worth the price. Does a better job if... June 30, 2015 ...you move the brush in a circular motion. The pet hair forms a neat strip on the brush that's easy to grasp and discard. No real need to moisten if you go at it this way. I have an old, short-bristled vacuum attachment that I've used for years, many times I've used it without the vacuum! The short, stiffer bristles do the job of grabbing that cat hair! No complaints here... No hair on the chair September 12, 2014 I bought this specifically to remove hair from the chair my dogs have taken over (4 long-haired & 3 short-haired); even with a blanket over the chair there's still hair on it. This little brush works amazingly well - and quickly - to remove the hair and the hair is retained in the bristles until I remove it. The brush seems to work well either dry or rinsed and shaken out. I've also used it to quickly clean up hair on the bed spread and in the carpet of the car. It doesn't work as quickly on clothing while I'm wearing it, unless the fabric is denim, but that wasn't why I purchased this brush in the first place. If you need to clean upholstered furniture, I definitely recommend this brush....expensive, but worth it. Works really good! April 20, 2014 I have a velour corduroy-ish couch and it's accumulated years of cat hair. I DO clean it, but the fur seems to almost get woven into the fabric. The BFF works really well! It definitely made a difference; way better than sticky rollers and easier than busting out the vacuum and upholstery attachment. I discovered that by spraying the fabric with Febreze (or a mixture of a little fabric softener with water) it works even better, as it cuts the static charge. I also tried it on the quilt on my bed and was amazed at what came up! It's easy to use and comfortable to hold. My only gripe is it's not the easiest to clean while you're using it. But still - probably the best & easiest fur solution yet. | 45% Best hair and lint remover ever September 22, 2017 These are the best lint brushes ever made. I got my first one 30 years ago. Ten years ago I misplaced it. I tried all different types. Nothing worked like these. I finally found these. I've given them as gifts. They pick up every hair with a swipe in one direction. Then swipe the opposite way and the hair rolls off. Don't waste your money in any other product that makes claims of removing hair or lint. We haven't had the issues with them breaking like other reviewers did August 4, 2017 These work OK, we have a micro-fiber style fabric on our furniture and this doesn't really seem to grab the hair very well. We haven't had the issues with them breaking like other reviewers did, but we do have to work a little harder to get them to remove the hair. Cheaper than using lint rollers all the time, though. Happy camper!! April 25, 2017 Received my brushes today, a couple days before delivery date. Of course I had to try it out today. I have 2 long hair kitty's, and cat hair on my clothes can't be helped. I hate the sticky lint things, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with these. One happy camper here. Brush one way to get the kitty hair off. Flip it n the hair comes off. Hallelujah, there will be NO MORE kitty hair on my clothes ☺️☺️☺️ All the awesome ability of the old ones with new versatility April 24, 2017 I was blown away with the trigger! All the awesome ability of the old ones with new versatility. Works great on my microfiber couch These work wonderfully March 24, 2017 Very great product. A little flimsy and they don't feel very sturdy but definitely something I use daily and the price is unbeatable. The rotation switch is genius and very very useful This thing is awesome January 6, 2012 I have 3 profuse shedders and this pulls the hair off everything. These work so much better than the sticky tapes. The direction button is really handy too (since they only work one way). I didn't realize how much I would want to reverse direction with it, and that would be a pain without it. I bought four for myself and gf, and might buy some more, such a good price and they are all working. Maybe 2 more for the cars.. |
Four Star Reviews: | 12% Works well. I have a long haired dog and ... February 28, 2017 Works well. I have a long haired dog and it seems to pick up all the fur from the couch. This product works great for couch pillows and fabric furniture June 27, 2016 This product works great for couch pillows and fabric furniture. It works okay on clothes but not as well as it works on furniture. I have yet to find something that works great on clothes. I have the tape rollers that work okay, but the only thing that works great on clothes for me is packing tape. I have to longer fur cats and their fur seem to stick to everything. We use this brush daily on the furniture and pillows to keep the house as fur free as possibly. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to use it on furniture or pillows. The only reason I did not give it five stars is it does not get all the fur off of my clothes. But for furniture use it's a 5 star product. We recently went from only having leather furniture to adding ... May 30, 2016 We recently went from only having leather furniture to adding a microfiber couch. With 4 large, fluffy, white cats the fur is everywhere especially right now going from Winter to Spring. This removes the fur from both the couch and our large cat tree amazingly well!I have used it on a few different items of clothing and it doesn't work as well, however, the fact that it removes the hair from the furniture helps it not get on our clothing as much. I'll keep having to use packing tape for my clothes. AWESOME! June 8, 2015 This is amazing!!!! We have three cats, and one of them is long haired so we have a LOT of hair to contend with. This swipes the hair right off our couches (slipcovered in a cotton canvas) no problem. I also like running it over the (egyptian cotton) duvet cover before tossing in the wash. This works less well on some clothing fabrics (on my wool pants, it seems to just brush the hair/lint all in one direction - so I suppose it is less noticeable), but it is perfect for furniture! I also love that it creates no extra waste like a sticky papered lint roller. It's not without restriction! March 18, 2015 I'd go ahead and say it's probably indeed the best pet hair remover I've tried and owned so far, in most cases it's far better than the sticky lint roller or those red cloth textured "magic lint remover", but again it's not without restrictions! I attached a few pictures to demonstrate. So first off on the general texture it works pretty great, so far I've tried it on my cotton bed sheets and fleece feeling fabric armchairs from IKEA, I saw some Youtube videos where people use it on the carpet or pet beds/ cat tree houses and it all works great. As in the first picture, the brush will gather the hairs in a string lump and it's pretty easy to remove. However, it doesn't quite work on my 100% cotton underwear, nor on those microfiber texture cloth (see second and third photo, a microfiber sheet sets from Target; I forgot to take pictures of my cotton underwear/ pajamas but it's about the same). And though in general it's easy to pull off the aggregated hair strings, there will always be some lint / fiber balls stuck at the bottom of brush's bristle (see 4th and 5th pics), which may not be a big deal but for someone who's a bit of a clean freak or has a bit of OCD, can really drive one crazy. I asked around and even posted a question here at Amazon's question section but didn't seem to get much out of it. And I tried a few different ways that other people suggested and didn't see any result (like people said to "lift it out with fingers/ rub fingers over/ wash it in running water and rub it on the palm and etc). In the end I rinse it in running water and run it through a comb multiple times to finally get most of the lint balls out of the brush. (see the last three pics)From the way I see it, I can hardly imagine this is a problem only to me (see how many disgusting lint balls I pull out from "combing the brush"!) And I had to comb the brush rather slowly and gently so I won't damage the bristle. I would've hope the cleaning job (to clean the tool itself after cleaning) would be much easier. Otherwise it's like owning a great vacuum machine but difficult to clean up. Then it's kinda only halfway there. It Works! December 29, 2014 White hair, from my two Westies , on my black wool dress coat has been a lingering frustration. I've tried several of the sticky tape products, but none have been effective - typically taking 4 or 5 sheets to do a half-way decent job. The lilly brush removes all but a few of the most stubborn of hairs. It's not perfect, but far better than sticky products and other brushes I've tried. Besides pet hair, it does an excellent job. | 17% It's really easy to clean with your hands August 11, 2017 Used these quite a few times so far. Generally use them on the upholstery because we have so many freakin' cats. The reason for the side switch is to make it easier for a left or right-handed person, against a grain or with a grain type thing. The grip function only works in one direction, so it makes sense that it swivels around. If you use your left hand and want to pull it towards you, you switch it to one side. If it's the opposite hand or you want to go away from yourself, you switch the way the head is situated and it pulls the hair right off.The swivel part has held up after a few months so far, which is why I wanted to wait to review it in case it broke down, but it's doing really well. It's really easy to clean with your hands, but on some materials it doesn't quite catch all the hair, even raking it across the dang thing. This only happened on my chair backs, but other than that with t-shirts and jeans it works wonders. I hope this was useful to you! I love these things July 30, 2017 I love these things. I had one before but it was stepped on a broken. I was breast broken. These are even better. They grip animal really well, I live that yippy can flip the head and go a different way on collecting hair. They are better than the sticky paper ones, and more eco friendly, eliminating waste. I wish it was a little smaller. It would be nice for storage. Was hoping it would work a little better than it does June 3, 2017 Was hoping it would work a little better than it does. I am using it on my shorthair dogs hair on the bedspread and chair. I'd say it gets about 60% off and that's going over it quite a few times. It also is a bit hard to clean. It does however we're good on most other items. Decent lint brushes May 9, 2017 Decent lint brushes. We have 2 cats so they come in handy. I also like that it can be flipped to sideways. So far, so good. April 12, 2014 I have only had this a few days. My issue was my work uniform if black and I have 3 cats; on being white. The sticky roller type lint removers did not do the cat hair justice. This magic lint brush for pet hair removal is amazing. I purchased two large and two small. So glad I did. Buy this product you will be happy. The four stars is only because of the short period of time I have had and used these. Hoping they are durable for a long period of time. Not perfect but it'll certainty do December 9, 2013 Works well. On regular lint, I'd say that it's not perfect and doesn't get everything off the way the sticky roll ones do (or even strong tape) but for the visible lints that show up on the day to day, it gets the job done. I had some worries about the longevity due to it's design (doesn't the really small lint build up under the fibers and ware it down?) but so far so good a few months in. This doesn't get all the small lints off of my black dress shirt so that's kind of a bummer. As far as actual pet hair is concerned, I have no complaints |
Three Star Reviews: | 10% Three Stars August 8, 2017 Not sure it works as well as stated to remove cat hair. But I'll keep trying. Meh. June 7, 2016 It doesn't work as well as others said, IMO. It's just okay. I would get a refund if I could, but we've already used it. Not bad. I got this larger brush for our furniture ... November 18, 2015 Not bad. I got this larger brush for our furniture and it seems to pull up the air and loosen it but does not get it all. It is also a little hard to them get the hair out of the brush but it does help. I also got the smaller brush for clothes but a lint roller seems to work just as good if not better. Not worth it to send back though so will probably keep in vehicle for on the go grab. Good for couches, not for clothes November 15, 2015 The brush seems to do a really great job on my couches, removing hair and it seemed dust and dander as well. But on clothes it seems to be pretty average at best at removing dog hair. Lots of hair is left over and going over the same area, while the standard sticky rollers seem to do a better job. For clarity, I have a collie who sheds quite a lot and has longer hair. | 11% GOOD FOR CASUAL USE ONLY August 22, 2017 It's an okay product for infrequent use. The rotating mechanism seems well made, but the red brushing pad is unpadded and attached to the rotating head a little haphazardly at a few points. ... it feels really cheap and the "swivel" idea is pretty annoying when you apply pressure during use it feels ... August 21, 2017 This product does work but when i use it it feels really cheap and the "swivel" idea is pretty annoying when you apply pressure during use it feels as if it may break. Not a bad product for the price. Great for cloths. July 26, 2017 They are all right. I was going to use them for the cat fur on the cat tree but it was very time consuming. It is great for cloths though. Pretty good November 15, 2013 I had been using a regular men's clothing brush to rid my furniture of animal fur. It has done a great job, but is now so full of detritus that it needed replacing. This brush works on the same principle, but it already looks as bad as the one it was to replacement, after only a week or two. Guess I'll see if they can be washed and restored to usefulness. |
Two Star Reviews: | 8% Not as good as advertised! August 6, 2017 Sure not all it was made out to be on the internet. If I wanted to yet my clothes and furniture I would have just used a sponge. Better results with different product April 15, 2017 A decent brush. However, for $10 more, you could buy the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Handheld Vacuum, Corded, 33A1 and get much better results. Didn't work for me August 6, 2016 I was hoping this would be the answer to the dog hair on the couch problem, but this brush really didn't seem to work for me. I ended up buying one of the red velvet looking brushes which works a lot. It might be that my dog has longer hair than what this is intended for, but it would only pick up a few strands and then just move the other hair around. Not worth it June 28, 2016 Not as good as they say. Takes a few brushes to remove the hair and does not work on all surfaces (clothes). We use for couches and it works for a quick fix. Easy to wash with the bristles instead of fabric. Not worth the price overall Did Not Work For Me February 15, 2016 Did not remove hair off of a microfiber couch as it said it would. No matter how much I tried, it would simply swipe the hair around in front of the bristles. Never stuck to the brush. In the trash it went. I have a yellow lab and 4 cats-- 1 siamese, 1 long haired siamese and 2 domestic short hairs...didn't work on any one's fur. :( Bummer! I tried on both my upholstered furniture and on my clothes to see if it would work better, but it didn't June 6, 2015 Didn't work at all for me. The hair it did manage to remove, it didn't even pick up, but instead kind of brushed it on the floor. I tried on both my upholstered furniture and on my clothes to see if it would work better, but it didn't. I have two dogs- one with slick, short black hair and a German Shepard. I had high hopes and really wished this worked for me, but at least they will refund it! I guess I'll keep using lint brushes and my vacuum. | 10% They worked great! I broke the first one before I had ... June 7, 2017 We have used brushes similar brushes in the past. They worked great!I broke the first one before I had a chance to use it! The second does not work as good as our older ones.We found the old one and will stay with it for now. Two Stars April 19, 2017 I was very disappointed in these - they did not pick up dog hair from my clothes. So-So March 21, 2017 Interesting design. Unfortunately, not as good as the 3M two sided non-reversible brush. A bit wobbly. Cheaply made November 25, 2013 I can't even judge how well this works because it broke in my hand the first time I tried to swivel it. I took it out of the package and turned the brush and, crack, I own two pieces. So now I feel strong like Wonderwoman but still covered in dog fur. Cheap and Flimsy, Won't Last, Doesn't Execute Well November 9, 2013 I'm really surprised that this is best seller for this category on Amazon. The handle is cheap and flimsy. While the swivel motion is nice in theory, it does not execute well in practice. The brush is designed, so that when you use it, it catches the fabric and removes pet hair. Unfortunately, because it catches the fabric, every time I try to use the brush, it attempts to swivel on me. The brush pulls on the fabric and as a side effect, the brush head shakes and tries to swivel. A double sided brush is a much better idea. PASS on this brush, and get something that will work and last. I cannot see this thing making more than a few weeks. Disappointment. |
One Star Reviews: | 12% crap. couldnt find one surface that it picked up ... July 23, 2016 crap. couldnt find one surface that it picked up hair. I really cant understand the good reviews, which is why i bought it. would have returned it but forgot and now its too late. going to goodwill. Don't believe it September 14, 2015 Not sure what kind of Dog or Cat was used to test this product, certainly not one with much fur. The brush will quickly pick up minimal amounts of fur, then you need to "pick" it off the bristles. I have 2 Devon Rex, they don't leave a lot of fur around; and this brush didn't do the trick. hand vac is better June 24, 2015 Not even nearly as good as a simple hand vac. Bought primarily for cleaning my hatchback where my dog rides. Does not pick up anything! Did not work for me. Returning it. April 30, 2015 Didn't work. Obviously nothing will work on all surfaces, but my Subaru has three diferrent textures in it, and when my dogs covered it in hair after a trip, I bought this thing. All it did was push the hair around. I have shorter haired dogs, a chihuahua and a pit mix. This thing did nothing to pick up hair. Going back to adhesive style lint rollers. What a waste of my time. I'd like to note that I did get it wet, shake it off, etc. No hair stuck to it, nothing magical about it. | 17% Consider it a disposable product. August 25, 2017 Does not hold up to daily use. Kept one in the car and it fell apart after a month of use. Very cheaply made, should have known better given the price. Flimsy, worse than doller store June 29, 2017 The first one fell apart in under 30 seconds no exaggeration. Right out of the packaging, the red lint-lifting portion with the part that's supposed to flip just popped right off while I was sweeping it along my couch and I can't get it back on.The second one, I used for about the same amount of time on my couch and the red portion is coming untucked....if they held together, they would work just fine. Oh well...Don't waste your bucks!!! Was not too impressed with these. While I bought ... May 22, 2017 Was not too impressed with these. While I bought two, one of them broke immediately upon use. Will be looking for something that is more durable. like dollar store cheap May 12, 2017 It's really cheap, like dollar store cheap. It does pick up the hair but it's impossible to get off of the brush so it just smears the hair back on when you try to use it again. Feels like it's going to break. I'm looking for a better product. Stick to the paper lint rollers. April 6, 2017 These lint rollers did not work at all. They literally removed zero particles of lint from my clothing. I have a cat and a dog, so I use traditional rollers for dark clothing. I was so excited to find a eco-friendly alternative. Unfortunately, this roller is a let-down. Dollar store one works better. February 4, 2017 Does not work well at all. I usually never write reviews but have gotten so frustrated trying to pick up cat hair with it that I just had to let people know. I had a lint brush that I bought at the dollar store that worked a LOT better and I only paid a buck for it. |
