I figured by the time I bought the favor bags and junk toys and candy to go in them I was already close to $5 a piece anyway. Very cute set, an attractive looking police car!September 12, 2016 My son loves police cars! This LEGO set was easy to put together with my 6 year old son. This set can produce 3 different shapes, but the police car is the best. Instruction was clear, and he was able to build the car in 15 minutes. He also breaks it up and builds the 2 shapes, but finally settle with the police car. One of my photos has a blue tower with 2 red flag. Those are not included, but you can find the set for very cheap price. I think it was 1000 pieces that worth around $30. The son was able to build a small town with a police car. She gets so mad when we try to suggest the other building options, so we've only built the race car, but she still plays with the car and talks about building it with dad after about 6-8mo.I personally have never been great at building Legos, but even I could follow the instructions to fix it when it fell off the table and the pieces scattered. Beautiful, Great Design, Fun and Low BudgetSeptember 8, 2016 If you love LEGO and Minecraft, you'll love this 3 in 1 set! My 6 year old son loves LEGO and he is able to put all pieces together. Just recently he has gotten into Minecraft and loves it too. Putting the two together in Lego sets has been a dream come true to him. Instruction was clear, and he was able to build the plane in 15 minutes. He also breaks it up and builds the 2 shapes, but finally settle with the plane. I love that this is a 3 in 1 as it's already a good price, but that makes it seem like even better value! The instructions are a little different that I'm used to as they don't show the number of each piece needed at the top of each diagram. He was able to follow along without too much trouble and was actually excited to take it apart so he could build the next thing. I'll be buying more from this series in the future as they're nice, quick pieces to build without breaking the bank. We have a few sets of LEGO. The eldest son loves to collect models. For a gift a great thing. It is very good that you can collect 3 different patterns - get tired of one, you can build another or a third. Nice set, but too easy for the age range noted.March 13, 2016 I love these small Creator 3 in 1 sets as you get a lot of options. The low price tag makes this one worthwhile, although I would say that it's too easy for the 6-12 age range. My son is 3.5 and can build it almost completely unassisted - he just asks for help with attaching some of the smaller pieces. He likes to take them apart straight away so he can build the next version, so definitely keeps him entertained. He was able to put most of it together but asked my 17 yr old to help. He loved it. We have a problem with legos, because my kids like to take them apart and then lose the teeny tiny pieces. Note: I know it's for age 6-12 but my nephews are brothers and I like the older brother to teach skills to the little brother. They are very excited and I enjoy watching what they can built from lego. I think lego can help my nephews to use their creativity and design what is going with their imagination. I got it for the special piece (the tailfin or rudder) piece #44661 or 4288960 by instruction booklet number. Maybe 1 new idea for ways to use special pieces if you have the other 3in1 sets.
