Live them. Nice quality.
March 14, 2017
I love them. My second pair. Was happy to find them on Amazon. Great price. A removable insole would be a good idea. There are actually several brand names with exact type of slippers. The name tag and bottom just have the respective name. Why buy that famous brand from Australia for 3 times the price? I beat my slippers to death and these hold up. Plus they have size 14. Fit true to size.
Good slippers
December 22, 2016
We have purchased these exact same slippers several times over last few years. My husband gives them hard use both inside and outside of the house. He should not use these slippers outside as they are not really made for outdoor use, but they hold up over time used out on the patio and in the garage while he is puttering around. When they arrive they are a little snug, but he prefers that, because in a few days they fit perfect and don't slip and slide around on his feet.
Gift-shopping solved
December 13, 2016
I bought these as a gift for a friend, and he was absolutely thrilled. They're warm, comfortable, well-made, good-looking, and have a non-slip sole. What more could you ask for? I never thought anyone would be excited to receive slippers as a gift, but these were a home run. They are so much nicer that the men's slippers I was able to find in my local stores. Very happy that I stumbled onto these.P.S. Some reviewers said they run a bit small, so I ordered two pairs and returned the ones that didn't fit.
Highly Recommended
August 9, 2016
I have purchased and worn the same brand and style of slippers for around eight years. Recently the company quit making the style and I was very concerned about finding a suitable replacement. When I first started wearing the previous slippers I spent quite a bit of money buying and trying many different styles from several companies only to return or throw them away. I'm disabled and so typically I wear my slippers all day, every day. I'm only able to get up and walk in the house a few times each day and I need my slippers to stay firmly on my feet and provide a very stable platform and not slip on any surface. I am so glad to have found these slippers which meet all of my criteria and are also far less expensive than what I had been buying for years. I will be buying these as long as they keep selling them, several pairs a year. I give these my highest possible recommendation.
It felt like I was walking on soft cushions
May 9, 2015
I suffer from a crushed foot injury that happened at work a few years ago. I have to deal with chronic pain, swelling and inflammation. I can't wear shoes on the injured foot so slippers have been the only option, and because of the swelling, have had to get two different sizes. After having worn out the previous odd pair, it was time to order a new set, but I didn't want to keep buying two pairs to wear one. After much research, I ordered a pair of the Tamaracs. As soon as I put them on, I knew I made the right decision. It felt like I was walking on soft cushions, which brought comfort to my constantly painful feet. My other foot feels better as well with it having to bear the weight from the injured one. They are well built, soft, provide support for all day wearing around the house, and fit the extra bandaging I have to wear on the foot as well without being too tight. I will be ordering another pair so I don't wear these out too soon.
Best Slippers I have ever owned
October 26, 2014
These are great slippers. I even have gone to some local stores with them on. At first they felt somewhat larger than I needed because I usually buy slippers that are 9 1/2 medium because the cheap slippers from stores like Walmart stretch a lot after you wear them about a month. It remains to be seen if they will keep their shape for months. They are the most solidly constructed slippers I have ever owed. They are very comfortable and warm. The last pair of cheap slippers ($12) I bought was from Walmart; they were good too for about 6 months when composite rubber sole on the left shoe split in half horizontally. I could still wear them, but if I stepped on a wet spot, my socks got wet. The sole on these slippers does not appear to be cheap and looks like it will last for years. My only concern is that these slippers were made in China, just like the slippers I bought from Walmart.I hope this company comes to its senses and begins manufacturing these slippers in America.

Satisfied so far
September 24, 2017
I intentionally purchased these1/2 size small because I know they will stretch. So for they fit a bit snug, but still comfortable, and I know that before long they will fit just perfectly. So far I am satisfied with the slippers for the price. Some of the reviews I read indicated that they do not last long. Time with tell. Perhaps I will update this review in a few months. As for now, I can recommend the purchase of the slippers.
Comfortable men's slippers
June 28, 2017
This is the 2nd pair of Tamarac slippers I've purchased on Amazon. Although, in my opinion, overpriced, these slippers are very nice in appearance and comfort. I'm retired and a homebody, so these slippers get an awful lot of wear. That means I'm sure I'll be buying another pair from Amazon in the not too distant future.
Not against recommending.
April 12, 2017
I wear a size 11 bought a size 12 so I could easily slip them on without having to bend over if I needed to quick step outside for something. Without socks on no good, but feels good on the feet. I know it is always a risk on sizes when buying things like shoes. They are comfortable to walk around in, so I do not plan on returning them. Just have to try again!! 😏
Like walking on clouds!
November 17, 2014
Received this product on the day it was expected. I'm typically a size 10 1/2 but they only had sizes for 10 and 11. I choose 11. They fit perfectly on my feet so I'm glad I opted for the bigger size because with the fur inside these will fit really snug on your feet. If I was a size 10 normally I'd opt to get a size 11 for these shoes. My only complaint is that the stitching around the outside of the sole seems to be poorly done on the left shoe but it's not so bad that I'm willing to return this for another pair. Other than that these are really really comfortable and warm. I put a water resistant coating on them for when it rains so that I can wear them all the time. I would purchase these again it like walking on a cloud!
Could use a more rigid sole
July 28, 2013
These slippers fit in their " W " size, my 3E width feet, and that was my primary concern. The rubber type sole can be worn outside without damage, but it could use better support for the arches and a less pliable, more rigidly stiff sole. Then they would be perfect. But these are not bad.I will comment again after I have had these for awhile. Upon reading the poor reviews it does seem some are simply mis-manufactured, but so far mine exhibit no evidence of that, nor of being sized too small as one reviewer suggested.Beware smooth sole slippers. I broke an ankle about 5 years ago when a smooth soled slipper, " Slipped" out from under while descending a staircase. Never buy slippers without a very grip-able sole to keep you upright. I was one legged for over 4 months because of a few seconds on the stairs in smooth soled slippers. Learn from my mistake. The sole on these slippers grip well.UPDATE : It is now March 28, 2014. I wear these slippers almost every day, a lot. They are inside and outside rain and shine, feel great wear well and have endured more than any slipper ever should. I will buy another pair, just because I wear these out. If you looked at them now, you might feel I already have, but they still keep my feet comfortable and warm. You will have a tough time finding a better slipper. Incidentally the soles are great, and Do Not Slip, even on wet floors.
Trial of three different slippers
April 8, 2013
I needed a pair of slippers to replace my over-worn Land's End Mailbox slippers. Since Land's End no longer sells their Mailbox slippers, I needed to pursue the laborous task of replacing a favorite slipper. After searching for a replacement slipper at several brick and mortar stores with no success, I turned to Amazon. I purchased three different slippers with the expectation that one pair would satisfy my standards.First, a few notes:1. My foot size is 12 1/2.2. I wear Fox River acrylic-blend socks.3. I consider myself very selective of what I wear on my feet (my wife is a tolerant woman). The slippers I ordered are:Tamarac by Slippers International Cody Sheepskin. Size 13 M USThese slippers are a keeper! Very comfortable. Fit is perfect. My favorite of the three slippers due to quality and comfort. I would have given these slippers five stars, but I have not worn them long enough to evaluate durability.L.B. Evans Klondike Closed 13 M USI will keep these slippers also. These slippers are light on my feet, and the fit is very good. L.B. Evans Men's Klondike Closed Back SlipperSlippers International 400P Size 12 MThese slippers will be returned because they are too tight. A 13 may have fit well, I assume. Slippers International Men's 400P Slipper

Did something change or is it just me?
August 6, 2017
This is the second pair of these I've purchased for myself, and I don't know what happened, but this second pair fell apart extremely quickly. The first pair of these I had were fantastic. They lasted for years, even with occasionally wearing them on the front porch to walk to the end of the long driveway and grab the mail. This second pair, however, has already fallen apart within just a few months. The sole has rubbed off into nothing on both feet, with pieces of it falling off in chunks. Sad, I really liked these BECAUSE THEY WERE SO RUGGED. And now I'm back looking for a pair of slippers that will hold up.
These slippers are scratchy around the ankles
July 29, 2017
These slippers are not entirely bad. They are warm, and if you need to step outside to get the mail or something like that, the soles are a waterproof synthetic, and they don't seem to hold and smear grime the way that suede soles can. The synthetic material in the sole, while being waterproof, reacts oddly to some kinds of floor cleaner/polish. We have a cork floor, and after cleaning it with polisher, the slippers squeaked loudly with every step for about a week. It's not great when you're trying to sneak a midnight snack from the kitchen and your slippers are telling your wife. The most negative aspect of these slippers is the material used around the opening (where you put your foot). The material is not soft, and it constantly rubs the skin at the corner of the shin and the top of the foot; so much so, in fact, that if I don't wear socks, I will get a rash within a few hours. This is enough to negate the more positive aspects of the slippers.

December 19, 2016
These are very comfortable slippers. The size is a little bit big then other shoes in the same size. The one big thing that I do not like is that the stitching that holds the slippers together came undone after 2 days of wearing them. Other reviews said the same thing about the stitching. I used a lighter to melt the thread on them to keep them from losing other parts of the stitching. Based on the quality I give it 3 stars. comfort level I give 5 stars. Would I buy them again? yes in a smaller size. For the price of the slippers, the quality should be better made.
Slippers poor construction.
April 30, 2016
Slippers started falling apart after a month of wearing regularly inside. The pull-on strap tore off both slippers after less than a month of wear and the seam down the back of one the slippers is pulling apart. I would not recommend these slippers.
I'm hoping I'll have a better fit after break-in.
December 10, 2013
If you wear them w/ bare feet, order your regular size.If you wear a thick sock,go up a size.If you wear a half size, go up to the next size. All nI can tell you.
Not as good as expected
January 13, 2013
Here were my expectations:-Sole would be flexible, not stiff like a shoe-Sheepskin would be plush-nice leather exterior-true to size (obviously)-comfortable-keep your feet warmrealities:-sole is very stiff, like a shoe. This is good if you want something you can wear around outside, not really beneficial inside-sheepskin was terrific the first day or so. But after wearing for awhile, it will become matted and flat. Maybe that's normal?-exterior is a nice leather-the sizing is accurate-they are acceptably comfortableWhat drags this product down for me is that surprisingly, they don't keep your feet warm. I've tried wearing them with and without socks and it makes no difference. I don't know if the problem is that they don't breathe well, making your feet sweat, which leads to cold feet or what the problem is. But it's only marginally better than socks.I'm by no means an expert on house shoes, but I think for the price you could probably find something better. These are simply ok.

Too large and the inside is not as fluffy and ...
January 4, 2017
Too large and the inside is not as fluffy and full as some other slippers my husband has had. The sizes are probably close to what you would normally wear. I ordered a size bigger because the ones I ordered just before these were too tight. Not a wise choice. If you order them, get your normal shoe size.
Like a kitten - soft and cuddly and inviting when new, but then the shedding begins and you wonder if you made a huge mistake.
December 17, 2016
Like other Tamarac slippers I've owned, these seemed generally well-made and comfortable at first. That said, they shed like a long-haired cat. The "genuine shearling lining" that seemed so lush and inviting when I bought these just 2 months ago quickly became compressed, leaving the slippers a little loose. And then the slippers began to shed this lining at a rate that had us wondering if one of our pets might have an untreated hairball problem. In some places the fur lining is nearly worn away. If somebody happens to give me a new pair of slippers over the holidays, these will be relegated to back door trash can runs and dog-watching duty.
Cozy without making my feet moist, NOT memory foam padded.
February 16, 2016
Update: I emailed their customer support and they verified that these don’t have memory foam. Their reply was that “the wool material is constructed in a way to provide comfort support” however, after a few months of relatively light use the wool is so compacted that it feels as hard as the floor and offers no padding at all.I haven't worn slippers since I was a kid and I was surprised at how difficult it was to find a decent pair. Our poorly insulated apartment was getting colder than usual and I’ve been experiencing a lot of discomfort in the heels of my feet the past year so I was looking for a slipper with decent padding (our floors are fake wood and tile) that would keep my feet warm without getting too sweaty. I tried on numerous slippers at various department stores and discovered that I didn’t like any of the cheap under $20 pairs which tend to be all synthetic and have no padding. I also didn’t like the next level up which usually have some sort of memory foam. Maybe I weigh too much (185 lbs) but as soon as I step on memory foam it feels like it compresses all the way to the floor and starts hurting my feet. These Tamarac by Slippers International Men's Cody Sheepskin Slippers cost way more than I originally wanted to spend but they use actual leather and wool and feel high quality when you slip them on. Because they’re wool, they keep my feet warm without making them moist. It’s weird because my feet feel like they’re getting sweaty but when I take off the slippers they are dry to the touch. Maybe this is a function of wool? This is my first pair of wool slippers so I wouldn’t know. The descriptions says they have a memory foam footbed but it must be a very thin layer or an incorrect description. The padding is less than I wanted, more like a pair of Vans slip-ons, and I can’t stand in them for more than an hour but this is true of any shoe I put on these days. I might have to go orthopedic. I’ve accidentally forgotten I had them on when taking out the trash a few times but because they have a regular shoe sole, it was fine. Aesthetically, I like that they don’t look like moccasins, loafers or Crocs. I really like them and would give four stars if they had real padding in the footbed.
Too small
October 14, 2015
I love the look of these shoes, the way they feel, and the color is wonderful. Unfortunately the manufacturer screwed up the sizing terribly. I normally take a 13 medium shoe. But for this shoe to fit properly I need a 14 wide. It's like they manufactured the shoes as they normally would and then stuck a bunch of fur inside it hoping that nobody would notice that the shoes were now too small. I had enough forethought when I ordered the shoe to order a 14 but I never even thought about the width. Also this shoe is a slipper so the sole is very thin with pretty much no cushion, even in the heel. The manufacturer claims it's an indoor outdoor sole but it's really not very good for walking outdoors unless you like the feel of going barefoot.I've already given these shoes to charity. So now I'm looking for another shoe to buy.
Nice Product That Doesn't Last
August 28, 2015
I was very excited to receive the slippers and although I was pleasantly surprised in the beginning on the comfort level and look of the product it didn't' last. In less than two months time the slippers wore through in the heels and our now useless. I have had ugg slippers in the past that have lasted 12 plus months, yes they are twice the price but if they last 6 times longer then I can justify the price. I think this product has potential but they need to rework the soles for durability.
comfortably dissatisfied
March 12, 2015
I loved the slippers for about 6 months then the sole on the left foot came unattached from the rest of the slipper. Now it's almost completely off, I am still wearing them because they are that comfortable, I just wish they were built stronger.

Not worth it. If I bought locally I could have returned them.
April 26, 2017
Got them around March 4th and they have been shedding since day one. Under 2 months of non daily wear and no fleece is left under the toes, ball of foot, and heels. Not warm at all now, just walking on cold rubber soles. I bought my wife a pair of WARMIE Australian Sheepskin Super Thick Premium slippers at the same time. Much better sheepskin than the Chinese fleece in my slippers.
They arrived in 'FALLING APART' condition
March 5, 2015
Opened the box. Put the slippers on my feet. They were too tight. Good warmth. Then noticed threading attaching the upper to the sole was frayed and broken from the arch area to the heel of the left slipper. Returning for refund.
So Sad
February 5, 2015
I purchased these slippers because I wanted to replace my old cheap ones with something nice and warm. They are very cozy and warm without being hot and have a nice tread to go out and pick up the paper or take out the trash. The slippers were just a little stiff the first few days, but broke in very nicely and became extremely comfortable. I often work at home and would often wear them all day and into the evening. Unfortunately, after just 2 months the sole started to unravel from both shoes. I'm not hard on my stuff. I was not out working in the garden or doing anything crazy in them. My old cheap slippers lasted me almost two years and they did NOT cost $50. Amazon was nicer than they had to be about retuning them. I am sad about this because they would have become my all time favorite slippers had they not fallen apart.
Not durable, won't buy again.
December 9, 2014
These were pretty good for about a month, then they started to get less comfortable. After that I used them a lot less, and eventually the rubber seems split apart. If I am going to buy a pair of throw-away slippers I'll just go to Wal-Mart. I expected quality for the premium price and didn't get it.
Lasted less than 1 month
January 8, 2014
As some other reviewers noted, the stitching began to unravel after 2 weeks and the soles separated after 4 weeks. Very cheap construciton. Loved them at first, but need to last at least 4-5 winters for the (current) price of $45. If you decide to take the chance...they run very big in my opinion. Once the cloth inside got compressed, my feet were sliding back and forth, and cold air got in...after that they were only full warm with thick socks. Go a size smaller.
Not Durable
November 25, 2013
I have these slippers about two months and the stitching is coming apart. These are by far, the worse slippers I have ever owned. They were a little tight at first but they loosened up after a few days. The stitching is beginning to unravel and the elastic they use in the upper part to provide some stretch is rough and sort of rubs on your foot. They are, like most things imported from China, cheaply made. I would not recommend these to anyone!
