This is a nice chair. Love the rocker chairs
May 22, 2017
This is not my mothers rocker! We had one when I was a kid and it wasn't as stable as this one. This is a nice chair. Love the rocker chairs. Pretty blue. I like the fact that it folds up too.

Great chair, but not many alternatives here--the competition is hundreds of dollars and worse.Comes with rubber feet for the front which constantly fall off--wish they had been attached to start.
Very comfortable chair.

Adorable chair. It rocks! It is not bulky or intrusive. Very comfortable, and very reasonably priced.
I LOVE, LOVE
January 6, 2017
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this chair. Some of the reviews indicated the chair doesn't rock forward, just back. The design is intended to do just that so you don't require a winch to get out of it! Another reviewer said it tended to fold up; mine (I suspect all) have a locking mechanism to keep the rocking legs secured.SO glad I ordered this and would love to have another but didn't get enough Christmas $$ to purchase 2!
Very Comfortable
July 29, 2016
We bought three of these, one for my Dad, Mom and I and we all like them. My Dad is about 300+ pounds and he likes his. The only problem is no cup holders, but after going to many stores and trying many cup holders on Amazon, we finally found the right ones. There the ones that have a good review from me.
super comfy
July 24, 2015
purchased this chair to sit in our nursery, since i'm not going to have much use for a rocker after the kid is grown, but may have a use for an outdoor chair. and i love it. currently 6 months pregnant and everything is awkward and uncomfortable--but i was about to put MYSELF to sleep rocking in this chair. i should note that i am 5 feet tall, so YMMV if you're very tall.as noted by other reviewers, the chair arrived a bit scraped up, and the caps that are supposed to be on the end of the rocking legs weren't even on. i'll have to glue them on--they're far too loose to stay on for any length of time. but it still gets 5 stars because those are minor aesthetic issues, and not why i chose this chair.

Solid for the Price
July 29, 2017
Not the highest quality but given the price it is well worth it. We just needed something simple to replace our expensive rocker ($250) that broke and wanted to keep it cheap. Surprisingly this has lasted with our 3 kids climbing all over it and shows no signs of abuse yet.Highly recommend for a cheap rocker!
The back support is good. It's a nice product with ok price
July 3, 2017
very smooth when you rock. I have used this chair for nursing the baby, rock baby to sleep. The back support is good. It's a nice product with ok price.
Glides smoothly
February 10, 2017
This is amazing I love to sit and glide while I read the bible and pray. I recommend this glider and you do not need to have a child to just sit and glide.
Great customer service!!!!
October 19, 2016
I love the chair, my wife loves the chair, as we literally use it every day to rock our daughter to sleep since she was born. After a few months, the bearings did start squeaking, so I have to periodically oil them. Kind of a hassle, but not a deal breaker, as like anything it requires maintenance. After about 8 months of steady use, a lower bearing went out, so I looked up on their website, could not figure out a part number for it, so I emailed them explain the issue, attached photos of the bearing, and the MFG label under the chair, and they emailed back stating that they summited an order for me. Later got an email with a tracking number. To my surprise, they sent me a whole new chair. Wow, all I needed was a bearing. So yes it was unfortunate that I had a bearing go out, but what great customer service to send a whole new chair. Thank you very much!
Been so helpful!!!!!
February 10, 2016
This set has served us well!!! I nursed on this chair for 9.5 months and still now we use it to read books and cuddle with my 16 month old :). When she has a hard time sleeping, I rock her by bouncing on a stability ball (there is one dedicated to bouncing her to sleep!) and walking around, then once she's calm, I sit down on the glider and rock her a little more. When she's upset, I can't just rock her in the glider but once she's calm, she lets me rock her in the glider until she's even more sleepy and I can put her down in the crib. This is very helpful when she's sick and I have to hold her upright to help her fall asleep and then transfer her. I read before I bought it that some people have complained that the cushion isn't very good so we've always just put a pillow on the chair for us to sit on. Never used it without the pillow so not sure if the complaints were valid or not. With the pillow on, it's been great.
Perfect for me and my son
January 5, 2015
I bought this glider on September 30th 2012, for my sons arrival on October 17th 2012. Its been over 2 years and the chair is still in great shape. I love it!! I've literally used it EVERY day since the birth of my son. Multiple times a day at that. Breastfeeding was always in the chair, nap time rocking, bedtime rocking, story time, etc. My son loves the chair too! He is a toddler now and as soon as I tell him its story time he runs to the chair and JUMPS on it! Yes it does get dirty very easily, but it is definitely worth way more than what we paid for. Sometimes it does creak here and there, but my husband always does something to it to make it quiet down. Love it and would buy it again!

Five Stars - until it broke
July 11, 2017
I loved this chair for the 5 months I had it.Until tonight as I sat in it and the plastic connectors between the back of the chair and the legs both snapped dumping me out backwards.I'm well under the weight limit and was just sitting in it rocking gently when the back just gave out and I wound up falling out backwards. Might be a fluke but it's a real bummer of a fluke. And a rather dangerous one at that.Update: I contacted the manufacturer and they shipped me a repair kit no questions asked. New arms and hardware to install them. Upgrading to 4 stars.
Gets the job done
May 6, 2016
My baby will only go to sleep if rocked. We're going on several trips this summer. I shuddered at the mere thought of being stuck in a motel or relative's home and not being able to get her to sleep. Luckily I found this rocking chair. It's obviously not as posh as the rocking recliner I have at home, but it does the job. The fabric is sturdy and it folds and unfolds easily. The only hindrance (in terms of what I need it for) is that it doesn't rock very far backwards. It feels jerry when you rock back. I assume this is a mechanism to keep you from rocking too far back and falling, which I guess could happen given that the chair is so light.
I love my folding rocker chair!
January 20, 2016
It is a good lightweight yet sturdy folding rocker to take on trips. I keep it outdoors as long as the weather is mild and I enjoy rocking in it to keep my bad knees from being stiff while I watch my dogs play around the yard. I fold it up and store it to protect it from various harsh weather conditions so I can enjoy it for a long time. I am very lucky that I discovered this item while surfing the Amazon site and at that time it was on sale for half its regular price. :)
Got two yesterday - ordered two more today!
September 7, 2013
How nice to be able to ROCK on the deck after a year of fixed chairs - look to be by the same manufacturer.A MUST DO: Get some Gorilla Glue or Silicone Adhesive/Sealer to attach the rubber caps on the front tip of the rocker. They are very loose (were off in the packaging, in fact) and MUST be attached or they're as good as lost.Too, yes, the locking system on these is stiff. Spray the plastic clip and the metal tube with some silicone lubricant, AND, when you're folding them, relax the tension on the chair back or you'll break a fingernail. These chairs do have a smallish seat, and the front of the seat hits you mid-thigh, so unless you're VERY long-legged (read: a giraffe) you might want to consider a pillow in the seat. One reviewer ordered one only, and it was delivered broken (the plastic arms) in a poly bag. We ordered two, and they come in their poly bags inside a sturdy CARDBOARD BOX! It's true, the plastic arms are brittle. Wind blew over our fixed chair and the arm shattered, so reasonable care is advised. - Johnny Long, Western NC
Arizona Tan Folding Rocking hair
May 1, 2013
I purchased the chair as a birthday gift for my wife. Of course I added one for myself also. The order arrived as scheduled and in plenty of time before her birthday. The boxes containing the chairs were not as big as some of the reviews commented on. In fact they were rather light and easy to carry. Initially I was disappointed in the size of the chair. After reading most of the reviews I thought the chair would be larger. The chair is actually about the size of a standard folding chair. It was very easy to set up and lock. The chair is light but very well constructed. It does have a steep incline when you sit down on it. My first attempt at sitting on it was an adventure. Getting out of it would have won an award on America's Home Videos. I solved that problem by buying a chair cushion. Now it is easy to navigate getting in and out of the chair. In closing, I love the chair and my wife loves it also. After some practice it is very easy to open and fold the chair. I would strongly recommend a chair cushion unless you have the dexterity of a professional ahthlete. As noted, I was disappointed at the beginning but not anymore. I took the chairs to my grandson's T-Ball game. After the game several people asked me where I got the chairs. I wonder if I get gift cards for endorsing a seller's product ...
Folding Rocker
October 24, 2010
It is a tad low to the ground and the seat depth could be a bit deeper as I am a med large man. The material and wworkmanship is fantastic and I love that it folds. When folded it is tilted in one direction so must be stored accordingly. I definitely recommend this to others esp the ladies or medium sized men.

Decent chair for price
August 21, 2017
Bought chair as gift. It rocks well with no squeaking. The material on it is thin. Her 10 month old was able to tug on a side pocket and ripped it. Cushion starts out nice and soft on your bottom, but within a couple months it's not as cozy. Still a good chair. Just wish it stayed as "fluffy soft" as on day one.
Great for a nursery, probably not for other uses.
December 26, 2016
Purchased this glider for a nursery. Initial setup is straight forward and the build feels sturdy. The finished product looks nice sitting in the room. Functionally it glides well and is reasonably comfortable. I can't give it a full five stars as the cushions don't appear they're going to hold up too long. After three months of use, they're already starting to show signs of wear and indention. As long as you don't have the expectation that it'll be a primary piece of living room furniture for the next decade, I'm sure you'll be adequately pleased.
Great price, works well...
June 15, 2016
There are a lot of fancier and more stylish gliders than this one on the market, unfortunately those fancier gliders usually have a much steeper price tag. The price is what initially led me to this Stork Craft glider. I initially wanted a glider to make breastfeeding more comfortable for me and my first son, but also did not want to break the bank buying one as babies, obviously, come with a lot more expenses. This one was a quick and easy order and delivery from Amazon. The glider is comfortable to sit in. The padding isn't necessarily the most stylish, but it does provide comfort. One complaint is that the fabric of the padding catches hair really easily which is problematic whenever one of my cats tries to sit on it. The bottom cushion also has the tendency to slip out of place, but can easily be put back into place. I often keep a pillow on the glider to help me be more comfortable when nursing, although, the padded arms are pretty comfortable. There are pockets on the sides of the arms which make a great storage place for needed items when breastfeeding. You can keep a book, snacks, iPad, etc. in there ready to go so that when you get started on a long nursing session, you have everything you need. The glider has a smooth gliding motion to it and I have used it for nursing as well as rocking children to sleep. I am now using it with my second child and it is still holding on strong. The bottom line with this glider is that it works and has a great price. Sure, it's not the most stylish glider, but this is a case where functionality and price trump style.
Not too comfortable
April 21, 2016
Assembling the chair was Not too bad. I'd Not done anything like this before so there was a definite learning curve. And the directions were okay but not great or easy. Not a comfortable chair. For me. I am tall so the chair is too low. For me. With the ottoman, it's not too bad. However, one thing I think could have been done better is the seat. There is not enough padding to be comfortable for any length of time. The price was good, the packaging was exceptionally good and, overall, it's not a bad chair. Just not comfortable.
Comfy, smaller glider that can fit a range of bodies
January 22, 2016
This is smaller than other gliders, but not to say it's too small. It fits someone comfortably with a petite 5'3" frame and also a 6'2" frame - so very versatile. I also have a Dutailier Glider, which is much more pricey and larger, but I prefer this one. It takes up less space, it's super comfy, and is easier to clean. The only reason for the removal of a star was that it started to creak after a few months of usage. It wasn't so annoying to the point that we thought to return, but it did happen.
Great value ! Still good looking chair after 4 years
June 16, 2015
I bought this chair 4 years ago to use as nursing chair. I used it every night for the first year to nurse and rock my baby. After that I have it used it just a reading chair. I think it's comfortable and nice looking chair and it has been holding up great for several years. It was a bit squeaky when rocking it constantly with my baby. It didn't bother him but annoyed me. Now when I'm not using rocking so much I haven't notice that it squeaks any more at all.It would have been nice to have cushions you could wash but mine still looks pretty good after years of use.

Quality Control is Lacking
October 13, 2016
I was very excited to receive these but was quickly disappointed. I ordered two chairs and one of the chairs I ordered was missing a rivet on one armrest and the other armrest rivet was flawed. I easily repaired the missing rivet but will have to drill out the other to replace with blind rivets. Both chairs work as expected and fold fairly flat. The material for the webbing is fairly thin and I'm a little concerned with how well it will hold up.For now they do the job requested of them. If you are wanting a high quality camp rocking chair look elsewhere.
would have been 5
July 12, 2015
I would give it 5 stars except for the first one I received was missing an end cap for one of the bottom rails (rocker) when I tried to communicate I JUST needed that ONE piece the entire chair was replaced with the expectation I was to return the original chair. Too much trouble for a little plastic piece, of course I was charged for the replacement chair....as I said too much trouble so I kept them both! All and all they are really nice chairs. Easy to clean ( a little warm soap nd water to spot clean), and dry fast.
IT BREAKS WHERE THE HANDLE MEETS THE BACKREST
March 25, 2014
I read reviews mentioning that. No surprise, my last folding lawn chair did the same. I was being careful, but today it broke where the handle meets the backrest (left side). I'm in the process of repairing and strengthening it. It will be more difficult to do the left side now than it would have been had I done it to begin with. For all the helpless women out there that have no do-it-yourselfer friend, take note. After taking a look at it from the backside... Repairing the connections might be a waste of time. There isn't enough support where the rear legs meet the structure that holds the fabric. It's a design flaw. The whole seat support area gets bent out of shape. That's probably why (The most helpful critical review) says "the aluminum rivets pull through the plastic". So it's not just the connection breaking. I'm going to tie those points together and forget about portability. Perhaps making it so that if I need to move it can be undone and then redone at the destination.I made new handles for it and it's been working okay for two months. It's not collapsible though.
Perfect for my application at first......
January 12, 2014
I found this rocker perfect for my application. I often work on computers and wanted a rocker I could use to get up close to my work table yet have a bit of comfort and at the same time be able to stretch my legs. This chair suits me well. The only alteration I made was to purchase a seat cushion and one for my back. They compliment the rocker nicely. Although I just received this rocker, I don't see any reason why it won't continue to serve its purpose both indoors and out during the spring and summer.Update: September 2014, unfortunately I have to revise my assessment of this rocker. I have to concur with other reviewers concerning the plastic arm rests. The stress point of this rocker is the rear portion of the arm rests. The left side has broken through the plastic arm rest completely and the right side has begun to split the plastic arm rest as well. When the rivet breaks in half, the chair will be off to a landfill resting place. Too bad because I still love the chair but since its breaking apart, it's time to look for something else.A nine month life span is not what I consider a solid investment even though its price was reasonable in January 2014.
Convenient
December 20, 2013
We bought this folding rocking chair to take to the beach with us; our child was seven months old at the time and he still needed to be rocked to sleep. What we liked about it:It folds fairly flat, so it's super portableWhile rocking, I never felt like it would fall over backwardsWhen you are not using it, it does not try to fold itself flatWhen in use it takes up practically no space compared to a regular size rocking chairWhat we disliked:At the beach our room had tile floors, and anytime you went to sit down, the chair would slide out from under you. This was always pretty scary. On carpet it could probably be fine. It's not very comfortable because the seat and back are just pieces of fabric that pull taunt when you sit down. This makes it super easy light to fold up and carry around, though. The color. Dark blue just doesn't match many modern decorating schemes, at least not at my houseThe rockers, the poles that run along the floor, have two rubber stoppers on the ends. These were immediately lost because they were not secured in any way to the chair
It Squeaks (and Rusts! See Update at Bottom)
April 13, 2013
I've owned this chair for about 1.5 months. I've got it set up on my patio and I use it to rock my son (2.5 months old) to sleep when we're hanging outside. I like the chair, it's pretty sturdy and the arms are actually pretty comfortable. The canvas is nice and the color is so neutral that it would probably blend with any kind of setup. But it squeaks, and rather loudly. I've tried greasing up some of the rivets with WD-40, no luck. I think maybe the squeaking is from the fabric, which is very tightly stretched around the bars. Or, perhaps the sound is coming from some of the rivets that are hidden underneath the fabric, which I cannot get to.Either way, I'm not 110% sure I'd buy it again but we do enjoy it. If I could only get rid of the squeaking!Updated 2/2014 - The rungs of this chair started rusting on our coral rock patio. They have left several rusty red track marks. Chair had to be folded up and not left on patio in between usages. Perhaps if you're using them on a wood deck you won't notice the marks but on our lightly colored patio they are very visible. Wah.

May 22, 2017
This seems to be a case of "you get what you pay for" (mine cost $109 which is why I bought it). It arrived a day late and when it did arrive I was so excited to put it together but very disappointed when I got to the last screw and the bucket nut that connects the arm to the base of the seat was threaded completely incorrectly rendering it useless. If I didn't want to wait for one part to be sent my way in who knows how long, my only option was to go to the hardware store and hope they had it. They didn't have the exact one, but they had one that at least allowed me to put the chair together. So frustrating.
Would go with a better one if i had a do over
May 3, 2017
Fell apart less than a month after purchase. Even with kids plopping down, it should have lasted longer. Would send back but it fell apart due to screws coming out and have no clue where they are. My sister in lae has almost the same one from walmart and it is much sturdier.
It's just okay for me
January 5, 2017
First I must point out that you get what you pay for. So considering how inexpensive this rocker is compared to others, you might give it more stars. I don't find it all that comfortable and have folded up blankets to put on the seat to add padding. The back is comfortable, but my butt just sinks right down to the wooden frame. The arms are a bit too high for me so when I am trying to feed my baby I end up sitting diagonally. It is creaky and I wonder how long it will end up lasting.
Good glider for the low price
August 3, 2016
This glider looks good and should serve it's purpose if you are wanting it for one baby (I'm on my last). I wouldn't recommend if you are buying with plans to use it through several babies though. I think it is good for the price and about the quality I expected for the lower price point. It should get me through one infant just fine. Was very easy to put together as most of the assembly is done for you. The only issue I had with assembly is that some of the snaps that hold the cushions onto the chair were bent out of shape or something and wouldn't snap shut. Again, I don't think you can expect perfect and great quality at this price point, but this is a great option if you don't want to spend a whole lot and only need it for one baby. It is pretty comfortable to me so far, also.
It looks great and was very easy to put together - but ...
February 18, 2016
i bought this item for my baby and am not very excited about it.It looks great and was very easy to put together - but my biggest complain is that it started making a creeking noise in just 3 weeks. It has become so noisy that I can't put my baby to sleep in this anymore. He in fact wakes up as I rock in this chair. I tried to oil it but it wouldn't help,It is comfortable but I struggle with the slightly exposed wood on the arms - you will need to be careful as you hold your baby and sit in this chair not to bump his head. The side pockets are useful as they would hold your phone or a remote or a paci.
Not impressed
January 19, 2016
I really expected more from this glider. The holes to attach the back rest to the base of the chair were off so the back of the chair is on a slant and the snaps to attach the arm rest padding are miss shapen so the cushion won't stay attached to the chair. If I had bought this from a store I would be taking it back but returning large items bought online is a nightmare for me because I don't drive and the package has to be taken to a UPS location.

Not built to last
January 11, 2017
Not built to last. Worked fine for a while, but the back pin on the arm rest broke after a few months. I replaced it with a bolt from the hardware store, which later also broke, along with the plastic around it. We used this nightly to rock a child to sleep; never more than about 200 pounds load. We've had it 9 months.
Poor Purchase. Very Unhappy.
September 23, 2016
I purchased two July 6th of 2015. They are comfortable. Both were well cared for and not abused. However, both broke within a week of each other in mid September of 2015! Less than 3 months! The plastic arm rests broke at the back where there is less plastic. Poor track record for the price.I was nice and gave two stars.
Would have loved it had it not broken...again
July 13, 2016
Bought this chair for using with my newborn. It is the second one like this that broke. The first time I thought it was a fluke because my daughter knocked it over against the wall. So, we ordered a new one because it is very comfortable. It broke in the back right where the arm and chair connect. Well, I bought this a little over a month ago and same spot broke and cannot be fixed. Now I am past the return date so I have to contact the manufacturer. It is perfect rocker if the quality were better.
He said it was very comfortable, but just this week
June 4, 2016
I bought this rocker for my 90 year old father to use on his covered porch one year ago. He said it was very comfortable, but just this week, two of pieces of plastic broke off and the chair folded up while he was sitting in it. Thank goodness he was not hurt. The chair was put away during the winter and has never been in the sun, so it was not mistreated. My father only weight 175 pounds, so its not like he was too heavy for the chair. When you pay 50$ for a chair one would expect it to last more than one season.
Not Enough Rock & Too Much Sling
July 10, 2015
Seat sags into a wallow hole.My 6 year old chair had separate mesh fabric seat and back. No stretching there. Armrests and front extension of rockers could be longer. Since my height is under 5 feet, I like to be able to put my feet on front of rockers and lean back to rock without pushing on floor. Rock is very short. Despite "locks", chair feels like it's collapsing when getting up. It just feels awkward, as if my arms are behind me if I use the armrests to rise from seat. Overall other quality of materials is good, with exception of stretch of fabric. Question strength of locks since they are plastic and will "age" with weather.
Arms Cracked after a few years of summer use
January 26, 2015
Update: arms cracked at joints. See attached pictures. Only used during summer months.Comfortable. Smooth rockers. Locking clips are difficult to unlock sometimes but that's a good thing.

The product is packed so that it is very easy to assemble
January 18, 2017
The product is packed so that it is very easy to assemble. However the chair is not very sturdy.within a month of use the side and back of the chair are separated from each other. The back is separated from the base.we have not used the chair too heavily just that the material used is not high quality.I won't recommend this product even though the price is not too high.
Low Price and Very Low Quality
October 17, 2016
Low Price and Low Quality.Assembled easily and held together for 6 months or so. Arms started coming off. Baby leans against the arm while rocking, but the arms fail. First one then the second. Tried glueing back on but the wooden connectors break off. Its back together with a dozen finishing nails but it doesn't seem like its going to last through baby #2.Spring popped out of the hole in the base. Put the spring back in and stapled over top of spring hole to prevent it from jumping. Might work for awhile. If you like repairing fragile furniture then this one is for you. Or if you babysit a little but don't have a child full time. Otherwise, avoid,.
"This feels like a hospital chair"
August 13, 2016
Bought this for my wife to use while nursing our new baby. After assembly (which was easy) she sat in it and said "this feels like a hospital chair" and won't use it for fear of aggravating her back. All cousins are not very comfy and padded - they feel like very stiff foam. Returned to Amazon.
If you want comfort go with a different chair, if you want cheap and easy buy this one.
May 17, 2015
Just got the chair in a few days ago, had a chance to put it together last night. haven't had a chance to use it for an extended period of time but right off the bat, even just from opening the box, I am wishing I would have spent just a little more for a better quality chair. The set up was pretty easy and quick, the ottoman was already put together and all that really had to be screwed into place were the arms and backing of the chair. Then came the "cushions." I put them in quotes because the cushions are not very well cushiony. you can feel the back bars through the back cushion and the butt cushion is extremely stiff with thin padding. I was thinking that maybe it'll take breaking into, but feeling the bar bars through the cushion on the back proves me wrong, they are just cheap cushions. I sat in the chair last night for a little to try it and it seems to glide smooth, but the overall quality makes me kick myself for not going with a different brand. Also, under the ottoman part of the wood is slightly cracked; plus where the holes were drilled for the screws you can tell it was cheaply/ quickly done. We put together our Delta Children crib just before the chair and their is a HUGE difference in quality of materials and craftsmanship. We were considering buying a stork set for the other furniture pieces, dressers, shelving etc, but after seeing the chair I doubt I will buy another Stork product. This chair Is good if you need something cheap because for the price it will get you buy, but if you want something actually comfortable and that is better quality, definitely choose a different chair.
Seriously uncomfortable, loud and a waste of money!!
April 14, 2015
I looked at the reviews before I bought this chair. I really wanted it to be great but 6 months later and this thing is awful. I hoped I would get lucky and it wouldn't squeak like a lot of reviewers said but it did and it was loud! After many applications of WD-40 it's mostly gone, although from time to time it will come back. When you're trying to rock a baby to sleep though it can be super annoying, I'm not sure if she minded but it was atrocious. I'm also a fairly petite person but this seat is really shallow, it just barely comes to me knees so you don't have a lot of room to lay back and relax. The cushion is awful!!!! Spend more than 20 minutes in the chair and your backside is going to be screaming at you! It flattened in no time and was extremely uncomfortable, even the back cushion has flattened out and I can feel the wooden bar behind me. The fabric is coming unraveled on the side, the arm is on the left side is coming apart. It's a comedy of errors. If you seriously can't afford anything else other than this chair it will work in a pinch but otherwise don't waste your money. I'm going to end up having to replace this chair with something else.

Poorly made. Gliding mechanism broke and appears not repairable after 5 months of use from average sized mom plus infant. Very disappointing, as I will now have to buy a new rocking chair for the nursery. Will not buy from Stork Craft again.

I want my money back for both of these,
September 10, 2017
This product supposedly supports people up to 325 lbs. Well, guess what, you can sit in them, but do not lean back or you are taking your health in your own hands. This is the second time I've ordered this chair... the first one's arms, both of them, broke on the back where the rivets (rivets???) are. I took a chance since I've recently lost weight...first time I was at 315! I'm at 300 lbs now. Guess what!... double break with less than 1 weeks use on a wooden deck. What the hell kind of cheap nonsense is this???!!!I want my money back for both of these, I'll send ya back the rubbish on your own damned dime.

I purchased it for my brother for a gift and it broke after only being used for 4 days! I couldn't have been more embarrassed. My brothers weight wasn't even CLOSE to the limit of this chair and it broke. Save your money.
Unsafe!!

I must agree with all of the reviews that speak to breaking. This is an unsafe product!! I bought two and they both broke. One dropped the user on his back and head. Plastic connection points break. Amazon, please remove from your product line!!
Dangerous chair
April 30, 2016
April 2016: Folds and unfolds easily. Great fit. I'm short and the seat fits well and the fabric does not bind up behind my knees.****Added Nov 2016: Originally 5 stars now 1. This chair just broke. Both arms snapped free from the frame where a single bolt was holding it together. The metal bolt snapped free from both arms breaking off the back bit of plastic from the main part of the arm. My brother had just sat in the chair, he weighs about 170 pounds, and fell when the chair collapsed. He also had a finger get pinched in the folding frame when it collapsed. I'm just grateful it wasn't one of my grandchildren with smaller fingers that could have had a serious injury. I've noticed a number of reviewers with the same problem. All the low reviews said the same thing, bolts breaking free from the arms. The chair has only been in use for about 3 months as it was stored for the first few months unused. Only my adult brother has been sitting in this chair and there has been no extreme rocking, pulling on the arms or rough treatment of any kind. This is a dangerous chair do not buy.

It's very flimsy. The caps on the ends of the rocking base keep falling off. When we sit in it it feels like the thing is not going to hold us - it has so far but I'm just waiting for it to collapse. The back end of the rocking base keeps the chair from rocking back too far - which is a good thing if you don't want to tip over, but you'll never even get close with this chair. The arms feel like they're going to fall off at any moment. It slides all over our deck when we rock - so when you sit in it, if you're not careful, if will slide right out from under you. I would NOT recommend this for older people. I don't usually respond to these reviews but I bought this chair for my husband for his birthday in June'14, so he could relax out on our deck on a nice summer day and it's just been a huge disappointment. I'd send it back if I didn't have to pay for the shipping.
Don't Buy

After 5 days of use it broke, we only used at night for 30min to rock our baby to sleep, both arm rest broke at the same time, we didn't injure ourselves but I was really mad, is up to you, but I recommend not to purchase this chair instead go to a store and inspect yourself the chair you want to buy, this is one item that I will never buy online again.

Poor quality, is absolutely not durable
June 2, 2017
The quality is bad. This only rocks, it does not glide and there are no adjustments. After a little bit of usage, the left arm broke at the point where it is joined, the company sent in a replacement. Now the right arm is broken in a similar place. It makes squeaking noises that are really annoying and occasionally it makes a pluckety-pluk sound that is even more irritating. We had to wrap a bar with cloth to stop that noise. An old used glider would be better than this. Definitely not a good buy.- B
Cheap parts!!!! Junk. Money down the the drain!
August 27, 2016
-2 Missing snaps for arm cushions-2 smashed snaps For arm cushions-squeaks constantly while rocking-seat springs all popped out of place within a week. Had to make straps. To hold in place.-no removable cushion cover for washing, so hope your kids don't walk within 5 ft. of the white cushions.-bearing broke into 2 pieces and chair is now unusable after 3 months of barely mild use.---Don't buy this if you want to want to glide. Especially if you are having a new baby and planning on rocking them when they have an upset stomach. The bearing went out at 4 in the morning while rocking our 12 week old because he had gas. About the time he was going to sleep the left side gave out. 😡
Lasted 2 months
April 1, 2016
The vertical piece the arm rest fits into with just a peg did not stay together, no matter how much we tried tightening everything up. This fell apart within two months. We tried to put a screw through to keep the arm together but the "wood" is so manufactured we could not drill a screw into it to try to keep it together. This was a huge waste and a piece of trash. I don't know how this made it to be a #1 best seller. Very very disappointed.
Read low rated reviews on product. DO NOT BUY!

Extremely poor packaging. When we received the package the ottoman was broken. There is nothing in the box to protect the items at all. I tried calling both numbers for the company because all repairs and returns are through them, not Amazon. I called well before closing, but everyone had seemed to already be gone for the day and I had to wait over the weekend. I tried calling both numbers and they are constantly busy. Their email address does not work at all. Finally just submitted a parts order form with what information I knew. Did hear back, but it's looking like I am 2 weeks out from receiving a replacement and I am having my baby next week. I would not recommend this. I should have spent the extra $50 to get the one I really wanted and you should too!!!If someone still gets this, the one thing I was happy about was the color of the cushions. They are not as light as they look on the computer screen, which for me works.
Not What I Expected
March 13, 2014
I was very disappointed with this glider. It was a breeze to assemble, but very uncomfortable to sit in. The seat is very hard and the cushioning was sorely lacking. I bought this chair to be my main chair to relax in, but, within a couple of days, it was squeaking very loudly and no amount of oiling would stop the squeak. I did not have the chair for close to a year before it was starting to fall apart. It was not treated roughly. I just sat in it to watch television or read. It may be great to put in a nursery and sit in only once in a while. But for daily use, it is not worth it! Very, very disappointed.
Very disappointed! A hazard!

We bought this glider exactly one year ago when my son was born. From the very beginning it was squeaky and just seem poorly made, but our son loves to be rocked so we kept on using it. Today, as he was being rocked by his Nana, we heard a loud crack and I rushed into the room only to find my son and his Nana on the floor! The whole glider had cracked and broken into tiny pieces! His Nana was scratched and will probably he bruised, but thankfully my son landed on her belly and he did not get hurt, but was terrified and crying. I doubt he will ever want to be rocked to sleep ever again; he is traumatized! I'm disgusted that a company would make such a low quality product when they know our children's safety is at risk. It may have just been my luck and I just happened to get a defective one, but if I were you I would invest a bit more on one with much better quality. And just to be clear, we are not an obese family (Nana is overweight though ;) ) so we can't blame it on the assumption that there was excessive weight being put on it. It's clearly a poor design. We looked at the pieces after it broke and there was clearly something not right about its design. Trust me on this guys, invest in something better! I would post a pic of the end result, but I don't know how to post pics on here.
