I always was on a hunt of finding new products a stable one which I could use for years uniformly... tried high end products boreal, lance, elizabeth arden superb costly but never got results as i got after using Argan Oil /Rosehip Oil... I loved it! its so difficult to describe in words but my skin is so so soft, clear and radiant, I don't need to use no formulas, bleach, no masks.. nothing I just use both thses oil for my face and Im good for the entire day, the smoothness, glow always perfect.. June 23, 2017 I purchased the 100% Argan oil after I realized the oil I was using had lots of fillers I couldn't identify. I have been using it on my dry face as a moisturizer and on my dry, curly hair. I live in Arizona which makes my dry skin and hair even worse. June 22, 2017 I purchased this product after using another popular argan oil. The authenticity of the oil that I was using before I began to use this oil was being questioned on a television program I happened to be watching. I decided that I needed to find another oil because my present oil did not posess the characteristics of argan oil. I read the reviews and decided to try this oil. The subtle smell of this oil is one of the characteristics of argan oil. I use this oil directly on my hair and I also us it in my DIY products. I will post again after I've been using it for a period of time to fill people in on how I thought it worked. I did goto their website and it is well done. I watched a video linked to this product and the first person to pop up on it was beautiful; however, she looked like she was fourteen. Ha! Anyway, it smells fine, it feels good, and I will try it out. I do like the certifications they place on their products and I like the sound of other products they offer. Great product April 28, 2017 I love this product. This is the second bottle that I have purchased. I use a touch of it with my body lotion & face lotion. It is very easy to use and a little goes along way. I also use about a dime size amount with the Foxbrim castor oil which I use in my hair about once or twice a week. The castor oil is very thick and the Argan Oil helps work it through my hair easier. You have to press down then twist which I hate because this is oil when you have oily hand ... January 10, 2017 I am giving it 4 stars because the bottle its so hard to open. May 23, 2016 I use this product specifically for my face, sometimes I may run some of the oil through my hair (which leaves a nice shine) after moisturizing my face. My skin is looking so supple. Friends and co-workers ask me what new foundation am I using, I love saying nothing new! I use this product prodiemently at bedtime, but sometimes I use it in the daytime for a dwey makeup look or just to run a few morning errands. I have oily skin, but I DON'T feel excessively oily from this product. The only thing is the bottle itself, it's not easy to secure the top. I don't feel comfortable taking it with me when I travel, because I feel it may spill. Great product September 5, 2015 I was very happy using Josie Maran Argan oil as a moisturizer but decided to try this brand because it is certified organic and the price was much more reasonable. It doesn't leave the skin quite as dewey and the smoky smell is just a tiny bit off-putting at first but it's a great product for the price, and I'm guessing the smell is because they don't process the oil at all. I will stick with this brand because I really like that it's cold-pressed and organic, which to me means really pure and good for my skin. The company was very helpful and responded right away when I had questions about the product. My favorite Argan oil :) May 31, 2015 I really like this Argan oil! I have used a lot of others in the past and they always seem to be a little too heavy, but this one is perfect! It's very light and adds a good deal of shine to my natural curly hair, that is normally very dry. I also use it on my face and other dry parts of my skin as needed. This oil is thicker, not clear, and doesn't spread as evenly on the skin as the lighter oil I've gotten elsewhere. But, I'm still using it since I've got it. Awesome!! I purchased this thinking it would be great based on the reviews and was very Disapointed when it arrived today and it had a plasticy almost rotten smell. I am pretty dry and expected better results than what I had ... Yes, It comes in a dark bottle, but the actual oil is somewhat clear and not the consistency of real "pure" Argan oil. Argan oil should be thick and with a yellowish tinge. Not for me... September 8, 2016 Not impressed with this oil & the dropper delivery system. The dropper is leaky & the oil gets all over everywhere when I have tried to use it. I thought perhaps at first it was because it was a full bottle, but it has continued every time I've used it. Or maybe I'm a klutz & not used to this system. The oil itself is thin & runny - not what I've used in the past. Perhaps it's because this is 'triple extra virgin' & I'm unfamiliar with it. It seems like I'm using 3 times as much to get the same effect in my hair. I also prefer the pump bottle I've used before. I will be returning this. It seems like it could be a good product just definitely not for me. Still not sure April 7, 2016 So I did a lot of research on pure, authentic Cosmetic Moroccan Argan Oil before purchasing this. I had purchased from another seller previously but wasn't 100% sure that it was authentic. This checked off a lot of the signs like a dark glass bottle, and even had the slightly nutty smell (the previous seller's argan oil smelled like nothing at all which made me wary although it was in a dark plastic bottle). The problem I have with this product is that when I put it in my hair, which is the purpose of my purchase, it left my hair looking and feeling too oily. I have very thick long hair and I did not feel like I used much and it was way too oily in my hair. The previous seller's oil left my hair feeling and looking soft but not oily. So i guess I am still on the search for an oil that fits my needs. I think I may give this to a friend to see if it has a different effect on their hair or skin. Updated February 1, 2016 I totally love this oil. I use a few drops in my hair before blow drying, and at night, I use it as a facial moisturizer. It's very effective at properly moisturizing my face and always leaves me with soft, SHINY hair.UPDATE: after purchasing my second bottle of this oil, I'm pretty disappointed. My new bottle smells awful, absolutely like a skunk, but my first bottle had no scent. I'm not sure if they sent me a defective product or what. Also, they changed the type of dropper included. The new one is horrible and obviously cheap. The rubber top is so hard that I can't fill the dropper completely, and it immediately starts leaking when you pull it out of the bottle. I don't think I would order this brand of argan oil again after this experience. |

Two Star Reviews: | 2% Rancid smell October 9, 2017 Purchased thru Amazon after reading all the good reviews , plus this one was less expensive. So I started using this brand on Sep 25, 2017 after running low on another brand of Argan Oil and the first thing I noticed was that it absorbed so quickly, I was like hmm this is great. I then began to notice a smell that I didn't notice with the other brand purchased also through Amazon.I used 2 to 3 drops in the am and pm on a clean face. There was no expiration date so I figured maybe it should smell this way I continued to use it and noticed some small bumps forming on my forehead and also above my eyebrows. As time went on the smell got worse, so maybe I received a bad bottle Sadly disappointed - terrible smell. September 23, 2017 I bought this during an Amazon prime sale several weeks back, but didn't open it until last week when my other bottle of (a different brand) Argan was finished. So it's too late to return to Amazon now but I am sorely disappointed. I am a big fan of (& advocate for) using Argan oil as a daily face and nail mosturizer, but this one just smells off. Such an intolerable smell that I have to assume it wasn't shipped, stored or bottled properly and what I must have is rancid oil! Maybe that's why it was on sale, but c'mon, that's like a company selling expired food products, or worse still, moldy food. Unfortunately, the oil that arrived was a pale yellow color and didn't have that rosehip oil smell that it should. Guess I'm going back to Radha. Try the one in the blue bottle January 15, 2016 I previously purchased a competitors version of this product that was $4 cheaper and certified organic and I wish I had stuck with their product. Majestic Pures argan oil has a much stronger smell to it. The smell of pure argan oil isn't necessarily pleasant, but it's not unpleasant either. Also, this particular brand of oil seems to be somehow less effective in terms of absorption. All in all, I would stick with the brand I purchased before by Radha beauty products, its better all around and is $4 less expensive than this stuff. Argan oil usually is easily absorbed into the skin, but for some reason this argan oil feels like it just sits on top of my face (and i only use 3 drops). As the day goes on, it makes my face look oily around my T-zone which irritates me. It makes me feel kind of icky. The smell also isnt very pleasant to me. Just got in mail today and comparing them both there is big differences. Her product is crystal clear, no scent except a natural nutty aroma. Also on her bottle it says "organic".The majestic pure Argan oil had a lemon like smell to it. I expected a nutty aroma but I get a very strong lemon smell. Not too bad. The fact that this product is not crystal clear and has a slight yellow color has me skeptical. Also, in the sellers ad it states organic. Nowhere on the majestic pure Argan oil bottle does it say organic. Regardless, I will continue to use the product but, am already disappointed. The sellers ad lists the same stuff as the Josie Maran website but, both products are very different. I guess that's what I get for being cheap. I can definitely see why hers is more expensive. |
