Side by Side Comparison of: Optima vs Junipers

These were a great price and they have survived 3 classes of 6th graders almost an entire school year. They are very sturdy, clean easily, and I have not had any issues with the whiteboard chipping. I would highly recommend them.

I bought these to use in my second grade classroom. We have used them almost every day for six months now, and they have worked wonderfully. I wish I could find markers that held up as well!

I needed six to use of multi station studio workshops. Used for instructions on camera settings, Since they came in a 12 pack, I gave two each and a set of 16 markers to two of my grandchildren. One's a senior in high school, but they bot love them, and I'm delighted with the results in the studio. The two spares I use to make quick illustrations.

They appear to be well made durable and reasonably priced. Our daughter is a first grade teacher and we bought enough of these for her class. Time will tell on how they hold up. But for now the students are happy with them.

This is exactly what I wanted - not anything too fancy, just a pack of 12 thin but sturdy whiteboards. The surfaces are a lot higher quality than I had anticipated - standard Expo dry erase markers write on them cleanly and wipe off with no residual stain at all. They are also lightweight and thin enough to fit in a manilla folder, making them very easy to carry around. They are NOT magnetic, to those of you for whom that matters. This was well worth the price.

When I purchased I didn't realize I was getting more than one, but since it's so inexpensive I didn't mind the extras. I bought this to use myself as I had throats surgery and was unable to speak. This was perfect for writing and drawing as a way to communicate. It's durable and the ink easily wipes away leaving the whiteboard clear.

So I actually got these boards because I am one of those people who constantly looses my voice .. I go to a lot of music festivals and almost guaranteed by the second day I have no voice so now I made one of these small sized boards into a necklace and when I can't talk I can still communicate with people....Funny but people love it much better then being mute...

These were a little smaller than I expected, but they still worked out quite well. I do dabble a bit with writing and use this pack in a number of different ways for brainstorming, outlining and lining up book ideas to see which one captures my interest most.

Bought these because they're the perfect size for my desk at work. I only needed one, but figured I'd find a use for the others. I ripped the magnets off the one that I'm using at my desk, since I don't need them. The marker has been working perfectly for the past 2 weeks! I put another one of these boards on my fridge at home, and it HAS NOT fallen off.I would definitely reccomend these to a friend. They're about half the size of a standard letter sized sheet of paper.

I donated these to the classroom so they're fine for that use. Not tip top quality, but great for students.

Works Great

Great little white board for things like game nights where writing or drawing is involved. They're a bit on the cheap side, but honestly, I knew that going in, so it doesn't bother me. The border is quite cheap and peels away from the board. But the markers work fine and the board erases well. For a quick little board that does its job, this is great.

the boards came exactly as pictured. They are smaller than I expected, about the size of a 'Etch-A-Sketch'... if you were cool enough to have one of those as a kid... you know what I'm talking about!! :)Gave 4 stars because I originally received the wrong item and it took me a week of hunting down my leasing office and mailman to figure that out. However, once I contacted the seller, they were more than helpful in sending the correct item expeditiously.

I use them for work. We need to label pictures we take in the field. We have had these out in the pouring rain and burning sun, in the truck and on top of mountains and they have held up far past expectations. This type of abuse is not quite what they were designed for. The one draw back was that immediately after we took them out of the wrapper two of them needed the rubber binding duck taped back on.

A little smaller than I had anticipated but it does state the dimensions, so that's my fault. But definitely work well and I like the magnets already placed on the back.

I bought these for my young grandchildren and they are the perfect size for them to hold and write on. They wipe off easily too. My only complaint is that the magnetic strips fall off the back after about 1 day if you hang them on the refrigerator. So we just keep them in a drawer instead.

I bought these for the students in my classroom to use. They aren't the highest quality whiteboards, but I knew that when buying them. They stain easily and dry erase marker needs to be cleaned off well after using them. Overall they do what I need them to do, but if you're looking for quality, these are probably not your best option.

Not the best quality- marker doesn't wipe totally clean -but still serves the purpose - doesn't bother students.

Updated, three days later... as others have reported, the magnets fall off the boards because the glue is not strong enough. I'm using two on office doors with double-stick tape, and that would remedy the magnet problem as well, but I agree you shouldn't have to. Im glad it was a four pack. Ordered these for our farm stand. Two of the markers did not work..they were dried up, which was not such a big deal. But within a month all four of them had the edges coming off so they were falling apart. One we kept inside on the fridge and it fell off several times before I used some gorilla glue to hold the magnet in place. If I recall they were cheap enough that a season of use was ok for the price I paid, but really wish they would have held up better.

These are a little more costly in the end than they appear because you will need to pay for glue and a pen or two so they will work. I have only tried the two black ones of the four pack. They both fell off of my refrigerator because the magnets failed to stick to the board. One of the pens did not work. The magnets do stick to the refrigerator and they are a nice, small size so I fixed them so I could still use them. I don't think they will last a long time.

Be prepared to wake up one morning with them on the floor, this has happened to me on 3/4 of them that I've stuck on fridges. The magnets aren't glued well, not spaced well or with good glue.

The rating for these would depend on what you're looking to do with them. If you're going to hang them up and adults will use them carefully, then they're great. A neat little size, perfect for notes, nice enough pen. If they're something kids are going to use, find something else. After 1 day all 3 that I've given my kids are falling apart, and they've not even seen real hard, kid use.Bottom line, I think you can find a better value in a small white board elsewhere. Probably best to skip these.

I received my product in the mail yesterday, and already this morning all of the dry erase boards where on the floor, the magnet strips had all come apart, and were stuck to the fridge. The price for a 4 pack was decent, but now I have to spend extra money replacing the magnets. All in all I gave 3 stars, I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.

I was so excited for these boards to arrive, the price was great. Sadly, after one use the boards are stained so badly they are almost unusable. I have used cleaners but the stains are still there. Disappointed to say the least!

Broke very quickly. Markers dried out, marker lids came broken so the lids wouldn't stay on. Frame around board broke off. Threw all four away within two weeks of receiving them.

These were a great price, but as they say..."if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." I work with middle schoolers and on the very first use of them when they were taking the marker off the thing, the outside border came off. If you are an adult using them, you should be fine, but these are not durable enough for students. I literally got one use out of them and now am using our old boards that I was trying to replace. DO NOT GET if you work with young students. It won't last you!

Markers stained the boards

Junky, cheap. I told the seller that markers came dried out and that the frame on one board was cracked -- so they offered me a free marker, which was something but does not resolve the more significant problem. A few weeks after opening and using, the marker (using their pens) does not wipe off completely. These boards are very thin and the frames pop off. I suggest spending a few dollars more for something that holds up.

I honestly didn't look as close as I needed to for these. I didn't realize that they were for lockers, I thought they were a little bit larger in size than what I got and they are not that well made to be honest. I wouldn't get these even if you were looking for a marker board for your kid's lockers at school.

These are not very sturdy at all. They're probably fine if you just stick them somewhere and don't move them, but they don't hold up well if you need to move them around. We gave two to our kids (7 and 8) for homework time, and put two up on the fridge. The two that were handled daily lost their plastic edging within a week. We take the other two off the fridge once a week. The magnets ripped off the back on one of them within the first month, but that was pretty easy to glue back on. Now that we've had them for five months, the plastic edging on both of them is starting to come off and it will be time to replace them soon.

Its making me a a star, but I feel as if one star is too much. Waste of money, rubber stripping on the outer edge falls off and leaves a sticky residue all over, can't write on the boards because they are covered with sticky stuff.

Small and terribly made. Within 30 seconds of opening the pack and handing the boards to my highschool students, the rubber trim had fallen off. The boards smear and don't erase well. A terrible waste of money and they can't be returned to selller.

Love the size for kids in the car but would not buy again, fell apart within a week.

Verrrrrrry cheap. Its just cardboard with shiny white dry erase on one side. They are crap

I received my boards yesterday. Put one up on three fridge since they come with two magnetic strips. Fell off a couple hours later. Glue strips separated from the magnet strips. Magnetic strips weak as well. Good for kids to play with or people who can't speak. I'm going out to buy a better quality board. Not worth any effort in sending back.

I was incredibly shocked by how terrible this product turned out to be. Three of my markers will not open , and the one that did barely wrote on the "board" (a thin sheet of cardboard with a dry erase sheet glued on), one of them had black sticky streaks all across it, and another had a peeling/broken boarder. They are tiny bits of garbage. I realize how little I paid for them but the quality is abysmal-even at this price. One star for very fast shipping.
