Five Star Reviews: | 72% Ringside speed wraps are the best around by far December 20, 2016 These are high quality gloves. My wife who is 5 foot and has small hands says these fit perfectly while wearing speed wraps. Ringside speed wraps are the best around by far.Because they are leather they will last a while. Spend a little extra and get these over the cheaper version. Love these gloves! April 8, 2016 Bought these babies cause my best friend has a pair and they've lasted her 3 plus years. I wanted a pair of gloves that would last me just as long so I won't have to worry about purchasing another set of gloves in the future. My first pair that I bought were synthetic leather and after three months of using, they already started to rip. Didn't want that to happen again.. So far, these gloves work great! For the price, it exceeds my expectations. Recommended by experts for a reason January 27, 2016 These gloves (and TITLE in general) are recommended by expert boxers and that's why I got them, and boy were they right. I have been using them on the heavy bag once a week (on average) for two years now, and they show no sign of wear or undoing the in stitching. The 16 oz offers great protection; my hands have never bled with these on, and are great for sparring. The leather is very firm and the shape of the top of the glove (the slant) let's you know when you hit the bag right (as opposed to a circular shape) which is very helpful. I don't know why the price is listed as $150 but I bought them when they were going for $40. I got black but would encourage a brighter color for sparring purposes. These gloves are great.. June 22, 2015 These gloves are great... 4 months in of 4 days-a-week hitting the heavy bag for an hour each time. Nicely worn in, but keep their shape and they feel great. EXCELLENT bag gloves - would highly recommend - especially for the price.EDIT: I'm leaving the five stars cause they're still great gloves for the price - however I punch the right one out. I average 4 days a week on the heavy bag for 40 min each day. They lasted just over 6 months through that abuse and frankly - I still like them. I'm going to now try the world Gel ones to see if they last longer but they are more expensive. GREAT gloves, super-comfy, fit well and smell good unlike gnarly plasticy ones, also easy to pull on January 17, 2015 Recommended by my ladies' boxing coach, arrived very fast. They fit NICELY, the long wrist wrap makes it easy to fasten using my teeth when one hand is already in the gloves. They hold up well to usage, and being leather they smell SO much better than the synthetic ones! Comfy on my dainty lady hands. Great training gloves! November 30, 2014 This was my first purchase of training gloves and I could not be more satisfied. They are leather so will last much longer than vinyl gloves and Title gloves are of fantastic quality. Highly recommended! I bought the 16oz size, which equals 1lb. If you train with a heavier glove then switch to MMA fingerless gloves you'll be much quicker and hit harder. | 62% Great wraps September 5, 2017 One of my favorite pairs of wraps to use for day to day boxing training! Great material and they hold onto your hand really well. Doesn't get better June 10, 2016 Extremely durable and comfortable. I use them several times a week (about 3 pairs in rotation), for well over two years and they're still going strong. I prefer the Mexican style/elastic wraps rather than the traditional cloth variety, as they seem less bulky when inside the gloves. last a long time and i can was them numerous times without them going bad. they also dont have any weird smells August 17, 2015 these are my go to wraps. they dont tear, last a long time and i can was them numerous times without them going bad.they also dont have any weird smells.Pros:*durable*long lasting*no smellsCons: none | 79% There are no reviews yet | 64% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 16% I think they re good for sparring - light and agile - but not ... May 5, 2017 light, and small for its proposed volume (16 ounces). I m not tall or a big guy, and my hands also are not large and the gloves are kind of tight (not so tight). I think they re good for sparring - light and agile - but not for bag. Buy the 16oz April 27, 2017 Bought the 14 ounce gloves but they don't weigh 14. Get the 16 ounce gloves or you'll hurt your hand. You've been warned. Great gloves! April 24, 2017 Great gloves! I've had these for a little over a week now and I'm very satisfied. I am new to heavy bag work outs so I was worried about my hands being really sore in the beginning. But these gloves have been great. Good fit and very comfy. The wrist support is really good too. They're still good to use today but I wanted new ones so ... April 19, 2017 So I don't usually write reviews but I have to for this. Last year I ordered a pair of 14 Oz black gloves and they fit perfectly with hand wraps. They're still good to use today but I wanted new ones so I order a 14 Oz red pair but unfortunately, they fit to tight even without hand wraps. Everything else was perfect, aside from them being tight. 4/5 Good for the price December 15, 2016 Good for the price. Used them maybe 20 times now and they still look brand new. Although the liner in the inside slips a bit when upper cutting that can be uncomfortable. Great leather gloves for Heavy Bag workouts September 14, 2014 Great leather gloves for Heavy Bag workouts! I love it. I am not a pro so this is as far I will wonder in the land of gloves or trade marks. The stores do not carry these unfortunately. So, I purchased my first glove from the store Everlast plastic glove, then I learned about other gloves on the internet, then I purchased this real glove and then I returned the old plastic gloves. Learn and you can skip couple of steps :-) | 13% These I feel are the best I have tried so far March 15, 2017 New to the hand wraps. These I feel are the best I have tried so far. Just the right amount of stretch and thickness. Being new to this the wraps showing what side down when you start the wrap, a big plus. Long lasting September 3, 2016 This is for one set of wraps. They are really good quality, but I don't like how they get stretched out around the sides after the first use (like think of how an ace bandage gets stretched out). But it didn't get worse after first use.The thumb loop and the indicator on which side should go down (against your skin) is really helpful. And the velcro at the end doesn't stop working. Gets the job done July 17, 2016 The products are good in that they get the job done. Theyre a good length and provide a decent cusion. (I use thesw for kickboxing under gloves). However, my wraps were two different shades of pink and the "this side down" label is incorrect on one glove. Good boxing wraps, awesome color. July 1, 2016 These wraps come in a great pink color, although they slightly differed in color from each other. The wraps go on securely and function well in protecting your hands. Additionally, a "this side up" print helps you to wrap your hands with the correct side of the tape facing up to close the velcro in the end. I'm very pleased with my purchase. It's definitely a statement piece! Solid Hand Wraps June 14, 2016 I bought the black wraps and they are my second favorite pair of hand wraps I have ever used. first off, they are thicker than some of the other ones I have encountered over my time boxing. I personally like them thicker because it offers some more support and protection of the knuckles. The thumb loop on this is great too, I haven't seen any fraying or weakening of the seems around it. I have been using these for around three months and there hasn't been a single issue with them. I have recommended them to friends and they all like them as well. They are easy to clean and easy to dry as well. Great design but average finishing. January 22, 2014 These hand wraps are well designed. They have the proper length to cover most of your hands and offer proper protection. Also, it is quite comfortable, in contrast to other cheaper hand wraps that leave bruising and "strangling" marks. However, the main issue with these is the finishing, as the sealing straps are about to come off after using them for few times; they simply require better stitching and finishing.Overall, they are well made and good for average/regular boxers. I would recommend this to everyone, even beginners, since these offer better protection compared to cheap ones, and they are more more comfortable than the latter. | 11% There are no reviews yet | 14% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 5% I'm happy with the purchase so far September 23, 2017 I bought them as my first pair of boxing gloves. But after the first class I trained with them, I noticed that the elastic band in the wrist had a thread loose on both of them. I pulled it and I had to cut it short with scissors to stop from completely unraveling the band. Other than that, I'm happy with the purchase so far. But I guess I'm going to buy a more expensive pair later on because that's kind of annoying to spend 50 bucks and have the gloves start unraveling right out of the box. Had an issue but Title has great customer service March 16, 2017 Huge tear after one month! Stitching sucks. But great customer service. Replaced immediately. Thank you Title. If these hold up I will edit my review stars. I did like the gloves while they lasted Too small compared to the blue gloves that are the same size June 17, 2015 The gloves are tight. I ordered pink and blue and they are listed as the same size. The blue gloves are bigger. These gloves are also discolored. I hadnt even used them when I noticed the discoloration. It's like the pink is turning orange in spots. It's weird. I dont know what part of these are leather. They dont seem like leather. They are ok for me because I do boxing workout classes so I dont need hardcore boxing gloves. I would order a size bigger. these gloves are made very well from the outside and ... December 31, 2014 these gloves are made very well from the outside and almost 100% in the inside stitching. Unfortunately we have to return this particular pair due to some over stitching on the inside of the thumb right way your strike would meet the bag. other than that they are good. wish i could have tried on before purchase ... September 22, 2014 the seam in the left glove doesnt lay right and irritates my hand. i thought they would be cooler since they were leather, but they are hot. other than that they are good. wish i could have tried on before purchase as i have a small hand and they are big; however they are easy to get on. | 10% Good wrap, a few concerns... August 12, 2016 These wraps were exactly what I was looking for; I liked the color, they're soft, and the length I wanted. However, the first time I unrolled one of the wraps, I noticed that it didn't have the "this side down" print that the other roll had. That wasn't a big deal, but as I was wrapping my hands, I found 2-3 thin spots that looked like a thread had been pulled out. I'm concerned that it might grow into a hole when it's washed. Hopefully they will hold up as the other reviews seem to suggest because otherwise, I really like these! minor inconvenience August 4, 2014 Wraps are stamped "THIS SIDE DOWN" near thumb loop so you end up with the velcro in the correct position to secure. However one of my wraps had the stamp on the wrong side...finally figured out what was wrong after a frustrating few minutes of wrapping and re-wrapping. Aside from that, no issues. great feel but not very good quality December 28, 2013 I expected these wraps to be made a little better than the ones i received. After about a week of wrapping my hands they look like there about to rip in some areas like around the velcro. Some parts along the edge don't match the rest like it wast cut or stitched with complete quality in mind. I dont know if i just got a less then ok pair but i was a little disappointed. Fabric Gets Twisted Easily October 14, 2013 The ones I bought directly from Title Boxing Club (at their facilities) were great. I've washed those several times and they are still really good - they've keep their shape well, haven't gotten too stretched out, the velcro still sticks really well and stays shut, and the colors are still vibrant. I bought these thinking they would be the same, but they aren't. The color is still good (but it's black, so not sure it'll fade much anyway), but the fabric is stretched already and gets really, really twisted up, unlike the ones I bought directly from Title Boxing Club. I wouldn't buy these again. Decent, not amazing November 20, 2012 Before I go any further let me point out that these wraps are half the price of our other wraps. The title wraps arrived and right away we could tell a difference in material from our other wraps. It was a rougher material, it was a thinner material, and the slight elasticity wasn't there. After about 5 uses I could see that the fabric right before the Velcro was running thin. Because the fabric was thinner I wasn't getting as much padding around my knuckles that my other wraps provide.Do these wraps provide enough protection for you knuckles and wrists: Sort of...Will these wraps last for a good amount of uses: Sort of...Are these wraps worth the price: Sort of...Would I buy another set of Title Wraps: Probably notThe reason I am giving them 3 stars is because you get what you pay for with the price. | 4% There are no reviews yet | 12% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 3% Meh. Stitches tore out in both thumbs and a ... July 1, 2017 Meh. Stitches tore out in both thumbs and a little on the outside in a couple of months of bag work 3 times a week. Nice leather, bad padding December 27, 2016 The padding did not last very long with heavy bag trainning. I used them for maybe a month before the padding tore and my knuckles were unprotected. Poor hand protection, not recommended for sparring or heavy bag work. March 31, 2016 Construction was okay, but the padding was so soft that my hands would hurt after simple sparring drills, when I really wasn't punching hard at all. I ended up donating these to Goodwill because I didn't want anyone else at the gym to use them and hurt their hands too. Since my job involves 90% computer work, my hands are important to protect, so I ended up getting Ringside IMF Tech Pro gloves on sale for about $70 and I haven't had a hand issue after sparring or bag-work since. Returned them immediately December 13, 2014 Returned them, very uncomfortable. Cs was great, they found me another pair to try Not Very Comfortable August 29, 2014 I must have gotten a bad pair, because I didn't find the quality any better than the Everlast gloves for the same price at the local sporting goods store. I have the Title gel gloves, which are really comfortable, but only 12oz. These 16 oz gloves feel almost like a kids glove, and quite stiff. It might have more padding, but I didn't find out since mine had a ripped seam and had to return them. Pretty disappointed. | 7% but disappointed. Buyer beware June 16, 2016 2 different shades of pink....seriously where is the quality check before an item gets sent. Keeping since they were so cheap not worth the hassle of sending back, but disappointed. Buyer beware. While I like the material April 27, 2016 While I like the material, the first one I received came with a snag/rip in it so I exchanged for the another pair, and I can tell it won't take too long for the same to happen to the new pair. Also, one of the wraps is about 24" longer than the other which is pretty ridiculous. Then to top it all off, the first time I used them the dye used on the loop turned the area around my thumb all black which was a total pain to get off. Definitely not my favorite wraps. Poor quality - you get what you pay for August 20, 2013 Bought for Muay Thai.Wraps are very thin, which surprised me given that Title is a prominent brand. Near the velcro closure, the material was so thin and loose that I could see right through it and almost put my little finger through it. Very disappointed. First time I unrolled them, I noticed they were DIRTY already. Looked like blood or something halfway through the wrap - gross. The print "this side down" was a mess, which isn't a big deal, but just showed the poor quality. These would be ok for someone who is not serious and doesn't use them heavily. Spend more money on a different brand (fairtex, boon) if you want good wraps. | 2% There are no reviews yet | 5% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 4% Very pad quality. I bought 14oz ones, but ... March 1, 2017 Very pad quality. I bought 14oz ones, but they have almost no any protection! Really disipointed about these training gloves! Bad quality January 21, 2017 The weight is actually less than 14oz for 16oz gloves. The left glove has some defect inside - doesn't fit comfortably. The red dye bleeds everywhere. November 20, 2016 Decent gloves, unfortunately the red dye in them bleeds. After using them at the gym for an hour, my partner, my face and our shirts were red, which then dripped on to the mats and our clothing –and yes I'm positive its not blood. After many sessions in the gym they still bleed, I find dye in my gym bag and just about wherever. Meant to return, but too lazy. Don't buy. Thumbs slipping under padding, knuckles not getting enough padded protection November 19, 2016 Thumbs keeping slipping underneath padding and taking the brunt of a blow on the tip. Knuckles are very sore too, seems like padding isn't protecting my hand completely from more powerful blows. BAD GLOVES October 13, 2015 I purchased these 14oz gloves 04 months ago and don't worth the price I paid for them, as a general look they continue looking pretty but the important thing is the protection for hands and partner's body (receiving hits) and that is really really REALLY bad. (I can feel the hit in my knuckles and my partners ask me to not use them (and believe me, I'm havent Tyson's strenght).I really don't understand what happened because I only train 03 times a week (which means less than 100 hours of training) and I swear I kept my gloves in good condition, it supose to last a year.Definetely don't recommend the purchase of them. | 8% DONT BUY September 16, 2017 Horrible quality. Stitching was bad, came with little holes and it came dirty!!! First time I get disappointed from a product on amazon. This looks like a ripoff or it's been used. Or the quality is just as bad as it looks. The wrap came to me with rips beginning to show ... February 18, 2017 The wrap came to me with rips beginning to show. I used it once and it ripped. Do not order those. Not equal length August 17, 2015 Ordered and replaced 3 times, the hand wraps are different lengths, off by more than 12 inches. Substandard product.Amazon was great to replace, but third time was it for me. Never buying again. Pink wraps came with a hole in the wrap. ... August 17, 2015 Pink wraps came with a hole in the wrap. Also one was faded as if sat in the sun for a period of time. Not impressed with my purchase. Torn Thumb Loop On One Of The Wraps January 21, 2015 Unfortunately I wasn't that lucky with my pair. Loved the color and tried the first one on. Good length. Then I unraveled the second wrap and noticed that there was a discoloration on the thumb loop. I looked at it closer and found that area had transparent tape wrapped around. The discoloration underneath it was not dyed pink, but an off-white color (original un-dyed color). I peeled the tape off the thumb loop only to find out that it was already torn. Really disappointed. The other pair I bought (different brand) was in good shape. | 4% There are no reviews yet | 5% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
