Side by Side Comparison of: STERILITE vs Sorbus®

These are just about the perfect size for me. I placed video games, books, hint guides, and game controllers in them and it was a reasonable size and weight to move and store. I particularly like the latching system which wraps around the lis and the container, locking them securely together. I've already ordered three batches of these containers as both my wife and I continue to find new uses. They stack well, too.

If you are debating what size of storage container to use here is my input. I have limited strength and am also short and with smaller hands making it a bit more of a challenge to pick up large and/or heavy container boxes. I have 18 qt, 50 qt and 70 qt containers. I protect items with bubble-wrap baggies and/or their original packaging. The 18 quart size is perfect for keeping fragile items by type (sewing, tea sets, home decor, ornaments, etc) or for paper materials (like music practice books, photos, keepsake art, etc). Since there is less wasted air space in the 18 qt than the larger containers it ultimately takes less closet space to store the same number of items in 18 qt containers than larger containers. It is easier to store the 18 qt size on shelving and it is much easier to carry. The largest containers work best for off-season bedding & clothing. The in-between sizes work well for clothing and lots of other items but don't fill them up with books or anything heavy as it will be difficult to move. The handle clips are fairly sturdy - out of all the container boxes I have purchased maybe one box was missing one handle and none of the other handles have been defective in any way.

This containers works perfectly for storing cleaning products under the sink. I also use it to store bath products cabinets in the bathrooms have not had any leaks or busted containers. I stacked all six containers (fully loaded) and no busted lids so these are definitely strong.

Really like the containers. They were the right size and perfect for what I need them for. I use them to store my Christmas decor, magazines/books and craft supplies. I have not used them with anything extremely heavy but they do look like they would break obviously break with a super heavy object. They fit just about anywhere and really helped me organize my clutter. The lid and latches are very easy to put on and take off, they to stay on properly and they are easy to carry around.

These are the best! My shoes all have their own home now, and they stay clean and off the floor!

These boxes are nice and sturdy, and the lids fit snugly. All of mine arrived in mint condition. I purchased these specifically to help organize my craft room - yarn is taking over! Now, I can find a given weight and color of yarn at a glance. I'm also being saved from some of those impulse buys (okay, not all) since I can see right away what I have. Will order more storage boxes soon to finish out the yarn stash, and get going on the sewing material . . . .

These cloth baskets are sturdy, with stiff sides and bottom. I wouldn't put anything super heavy in them, but they are great for holding office supplies and various other things in my office. They fit perfectly in ClosetMaid 4166 Cubeicals 6-Cube Organizer, Natural Gray.The only thing I wish these had is a handle on the back, so that it would be easier to carry around.

I purchased these for the typical reason, storage. I also purchased this particular color because my granddaughter and I are going to design the faces ourselves. Perfect for what I want. Boxes are very sturdy and the canvas covering is pretty heavy duty. Not at all like the flimsy cheap cubes I've seen in some of the local stores. The cost on these is very competitive against some of the other brands while having better quality than the cheap ones.

Good quality cubes. The insert in the bottom is sturdy and the overall product seems solid.I bought these to separate my recycling in the trunk of my car so I can take it to the recycling center. They're a little bigger than I was expecting, but that's definitely my fault for not measuring the width of my trunk. They still work though! And when I'm not using them, I can fold them up and put them under the mat in my trunk to save space.

I am using these in my bathroom to help organise the closet. They do what they are meant to do: keep things in place and look nice while doing it. They are sturdy though not invincible as the sides are made of a strong paper material. I like them, true to color and shipping was quick. Plus, 6 for $20 is a great deal.

I love these storage cubes! For the price I ordered 2 set of 6 and they fit perfectly in my shelvings. The quality of the product is good for what I need. I set them up in the hallway across from my laundry room and next to the bathroom. They are excellent storage for extra t-papers, towels, paper towels, etc.Great value and they look great as well. Highly recommended.

These are great what can I say. I think they are getting a bit expensive though. I like clear bins only so I can see what is inside. Cleaning the house of all unused items but need to keep some things. Nice to get everything in easy to use same size units for smaller items.

I went off to college and wanted to pack my highschool memories away (letterman, awards, etc), and this exceeded my expectations, was able to pack my items adequately, except the price is kind of heart-breaking haha.

We've been using them a few months as toy bins and they have held up great. No cracks or breaks yet. Not as thick of plastic as we usually buy but has not been an issue yet.

These containers have been very helpful to me and my wife in cleaning and organizing our house. The only thing I wish they had was a more secure locking system.

I purchased these storage containers based on wanting the same storage containers that I have at home. I took the measurements and size into account, I even read the other reviews which stated that they were small but thought nothing of it since I measured them and they were the same size that I had at home.They arrived and while the quality is excellent and exactly what I was looking for to match our other storage bins, they're much smaller than my other storage bins that I measured that were supposed to be the same size. They're a decent size for storing small items such as a pair of shoes which is great if that is what you're trying to store.I'm keeping them because I don't want to take the time to send them back but I'm unable to use them for what I had originally purchased them for which was for storing my daughter's clothes.

I actually purchased these by accident thinking they were a larger size, but decided to keep them anyway. I used these during a recent cross-country move - moving boxes are expensive and these were only slightly more money. They offered a lot of great advantages during the move - I could see what was inside of each bin so I didn't have to tear through cardboard boxes trying to locate one thing that I needed. They're obviously also reusable and now we can use them for storage in our basement, garage, etc. They are a bit of an odd size (at least in my opinion) - a little bit too large for storage in a closet, but a little bit too small for a garage. Overall, I'm really happy I purchased these - I love having things organized and this really helps!

So far these are really good bins, The orange color really works for the school room I put them in. I just wish they were slightly bigger, but this size actually does work since I am able to stack things on the sides of them inside the cubbies that they're in. For the price at getting 6 of these, definitely well worth it. I might even order 6 more in another color. My only wish is that they would sell them in a pack of different colors, or have an option to choose what 6 colors you want.

These would have gotten as many stars as possible if they had been the size advertised. But I suppose "approximately 11 inches" means the 10 1/4 inches that they actually were. That aside, these seem sturdy and will do a great job of storing fabric in my craft room. No light will get through the sides and fade the fabric. Cube baskets I have in my pantry have thin cloth sides, no cardboard and they are pretty flimsy (a different brand). So these were a nice surprise.

This product is very well made and unfolds easily to a cube. My only complaint is the colors are not true to the pictures. I ordered green, and the pictures on Amazon show a light muted green. However what came was a like a florescent bright green. I was very disappointed. What was pictured on amazon was the perfect color I needed. I would have not ordered if I had know the true color.

Very functional storage cubes. When filled they maintain their form factor and shape. Material feels plush and not cheap at all. Very stylish & matches my room color. They also fold away for when your are done using them.My only gripe would be that I wished it had a handle on both sides to make it easier to carry. The handle you see on the picture is the only one it has.Overall Good value for money though.

The quality seems good and I didn't have any issues with the handles. I have both Closetmaid and Sorbus drawers and the quality seems the same this far. I use it for my toddler daughters clothing; they do hold quite a bit.

Product succeeds at being a bin with remarkable, nigh unmatched adequacy. On unfolding each of the six (6) bins, the concave volume of the cube was useful in containing sundry items such as notebooks, sheafs of paper, and shredded, scented linens. The storage is ok if you don't have heavy stuff to put in them. most of mine have cracked or broken. the lids and lock handles wear out fast

Too small!

These might be pretty fragile, because one of the boxes arrived cracked. Or it could be due to the way it was shipped. I decided to return them for a sturdier type of box.

One of the storage bins was damaged upon delivery. An entire corner was cracked and shattered. They are delivered in a stack, so I imagine that it was the pressure and lack of cushioning, that didn't prevent this from happening. Still, an okay product, but one is not usable. I keep the storage bins for organizing programs at the nursing home. One has papers, another has crayons, scrapbooking, sensory items. etc.

These containers seem to be very sturdy. But, looking at the measurements before I purchased it, I thought I could fit two 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper side by side in this container. Because of the recessed sides, I am unable to do so. I wish I had known that. I can't use these containers for the purpose I bought them for.

Does NOT " Complement (standard) cube storage organizer shelves" such as those sold by IKEA. Though the seller clearly gives the product dimensions, these baskets are smaller than those designed to fit common cube shelving systems.

I just received these in the mail, so I haven't used them yet and cannot comment on their durability. However, the color is completely not what I was expecting. I ordered these in green. In the photos (which I see now are clearly photoshopped), the green looked like a grassy/olive green. They've arrived and they are LIME GREEN. Bright lime. I wanted an earth-tone aesthetic and instead I got children's playroom.I will say that the shipping/packaging was satisfactory. I won't be returning them because I ordered 16 and I don't have the time to deal with it. Oh well.

Littler than you'd think. Not very stable unless full and places open side up. It could *really* use more of the removable stiff panels that are on the bottom. One for the folding side would make them safely stackable, even open-side out (as opposed to up)That would make them a decent end table or nightstand, even, which is what I'm trying to do with a couple. They're too small for real storage or even clothes, so I had to try something. It's only sturdy enough for light things. Not even say a drink. More like your phone, some papers, and your lighter vape mids

I bought these because the price was too good not to. I have some I bought from target a while back for almost ten dollars a piece. I thought these were the same or at least comparable. They're not. These are fine if nobody is going to really mess with them. I have two under my desk. It's where I keep my sewing supplies. My kids put their feet on them and they got all bent up. The one's I got at Target don't have that problem. They are super durable. These, however, aren't. If you don't have them where people might mess them up, they should be fine.

A little cheaper fabric but I guess the price should've made me anticipate that. They are just as sturdy as the more expensive ones.

I purchased the six pack in off white color to replace some other cubes of a different brand that had "pilled" and bent out of shape. They aren't really "fabric", but more like cardboard covered with thin paper fabric (paper hospital gown type stuff). These will buy me some time and look okay for now, but they are not high quality. The handles tear easily and are stitched haphazardly -some attached crooked --and with threads hanging off or uneven stitching. One ripped off the day I put them in. They are dollar store quality or perhaps just slightly better.Shipping was fast and packaging was wonderful. They looked like great quality until I opened them. That said, the cubes were the perfect size for my furniture"s 12" x12" openings. I just hope they last in my daughter's playroom. If they fall apart, I will get the onesWith real fabric and not synthetic "nonwoven" like these.

The containers themselves are fine, but 3 out of 6 were cracked on arrival.

Great sturdy storage bins that are perfect for storing tiny baby clothes. However, I received my order from Amazon with only 5 lids to 6 containers. A storage container without a lid isn't much use. Disappointed.

They arrived with 2 of the black clips missing I should have checked size...too small

I found the listed dimensions to be very misleading and the Amazon "answered questions" to be wrong. The "answered question" that lists these as 7.25" deep is incorrect. The boxes are only 7" deep at the very edges (this is listed on the side of each bin), then there is a weird bubble in the center that takes away another 1/4"-1/2" of usable storage space and also makes it impossible to have items flat in the box. I wanted these to store unfolded greeting card stock and they are not right for my purposes.

Unfortunately these do not hold up well at all after only a few uses almost all of the handles broke off. I was very disappointed.

I was very excited to find a pack of 4 fabric boxes within my current budget! Target had stopped selling a certain type and I was looking to keep them all the same. I looked at multiple reviews, compared to other sites, and felt it was the right buy.BUT...For me the only pro is that the size fits the cube organizers I bought from Target.CONS:- beige fabric is see through (you can see the cardboard)- Craftsmanship of sewing is very inconsistent on each box- handles are hard to grab easily- handles are also very weak, some already showing tears- lots of loose seams & thread endsThe photos that are shown for the product are not true to what it really is.

While the concept of this product is good, the finished product needs some fine tuning. The handle sewed onto the basket has no slack for the inserting of a finger or two to slide it out of the cubicle. When we opened the package and folded open the basket the handle tore loose simply by sliding a finger into the handle. The illustration shown appears to be quite different from the baskets we received.

Got one lid out of the 6 pack. Kinda pointless with out the lids

The size listed on these boxes is inaccurate. They only measure 11 inches across from outside edge to outside edge. Plus they are not 7 inches deep except on the very outer edges. Not an accurate description. I specifically ordered these to house items that measured 11 1/2 by 6 1/2 (wide and tall). Yes I could put them in the other direction but then I have so much extra space that it is a waste.

I didn't get the big one, instead I got 6 small ones.

These storage bins only had the black clasps on one side. There is supposed to be a black closure on each end, but in this one specific order, they were missing on one side. Very disappointing. I did not open them immediately, so I did not notice it until today when I opened the box.

A lot smaller than I thought

This is a very flimsy product. It doesn't look like the picture featured and isn't cost effective to return so I don't know what to do with these pieces of ugly junk. I've never been so disappointed in an Amazon purchase.

It size was not accurate and for some reason it did not let me set up a return. The cubes look nicer in the picture than they actually are. Just I find another use for them and have to spend more money to order new ones.

Bought these thinking they were a standard size. They are absolutely tiny and I cannot find many uses for them. I refuse to pay over $10 to return them, so I figured I can at least warn others and then just give them away to someone.

We bought 3 boxes of these for our nursery and 3 of the cubes came damaged.

Im very upset. I changed my rating because I haven't even had these that long and one of the handles tore right off. It was poorly made and unfortunately if i want to replace them all with new ones this will be expensive since I bought 9!!!!!

I wrote a partial review of these cubes earlier. At the time I had not actually used them and I was basing my review on appearance. Which I stated the material was thin and the cardboard was not very stable. After actually pulling out to use, my opinion went from fair to below average. I purchased the set of 6. Almost every handle broke or was already loose. The material was coming apart on a few of these. I would not purchase again, nor recommend these. I bought these based on all of the fantastic reviews from other customers.
