Caught burglars in action
August 13, 2016
One month after purchasing this unit, my cabin was broken into. Although my indoor security system (Piper NV) failed to capture video because the crooks smashed it, I had one of these units affixed to a tree outside. It caught them breaking in and carrying out an item. The Sheriff who took the report was very impressed by the quality of the video footage it captured.
Very handy! Work great, no complaints.
August 7, 2016
Love these cameras! Glad to have got another during the big amazon sale. Now we have full coverage for the house and the private road we share with neighbors. We get a snapshot (or video) of every vehicle that comes and goes -- very handy as we have already helped catch a burglary suspect! The pictures were clear enough for the Sheriff Dept to enlarge and get the license plate and an idea of what the guys in the truck looked like. Handy for seeing what wildlife are coming around also - with our first one we have many deer, a bear, bob cat, coyotes, foxes, and mountain lion three times, along with the neighbors dog and a couple feral cats :) If you set on video mode remember to check more often as the data card is not humongous but with a 6 megapixel camera that focuses to 45 feet that is a minor concern.
these have been the best of all the lower end cameras
January 14, 2016
These cameras have turned out the "best for the price cameras". I have tried several other brands but, these have been the best of all the lower end cameras. From my experience with the camera, I have two suggestions: you might want to set the sensitivity on the camera to "low" before you put it out or it picks up leaves falling, grass swaying, etc. (Unless your going to put it looking over an open field. But, keep in mind these cameras are very sensitive on normal and high). Also, try not to face the camera such that the morning sun shines directly towards it. That messes with it's ability to switch from IR back to regular camera mode. The images will either look basically white (although you can still see what's in the picture) or it will have a glare. I'm in Tennessee and I mount mine either facing North or South or locate it such that a thick section of woods will block the sun. After the sun has risen off the horizon, this issue goes away. The daytime pictures are crystal clear. The night photos are not awesome but, I can see what I'm looking for. At night, I do get a lot of blurred pictures if the animal is not standing still but, like I said the image is good enough for my purposes.
Battey life, unimaginable.

I order the 8 MP version of this camera last Feb 19th 2014. I installed 8 ea LI batteries. I replaced the same batteries as installed, Feb 2014, in mid July of this year. I'm guessing approximately 10,000, or more, pictures were taken. It was not unusual to get 30 to 40 pics in a 24 hour period. It was directed toward our bird feeder most of the time. We live in an undeveloped suburban neighborhood, surrounded by trees and scrub brush. Deer, aplenty, as well as all sort of 4 legged creatures. Great product...... I purchased two more. One for our backyard and the other for my son, who lives in Brentwood TN. Hopefully these less expensive versions will give similar batter life. Will comment as time passes.
This trail camera works!
July 30, 2015
I have had other trail cameras, Simmons, Wild Game. They took decent pictures, when they worked, IF they worked!I watched small game, fox and raccoon, walk right by them and they did not take a picture. The only thing worse than not having a tool ishaving one that does not work. These cameras were not dependable! The Bushnell 6MP Trophy Cam Essential Trail Camera WORKS, first time, every time, all the time!! It takes good pictures too.Buy one, you won't be disappointed.
Excellent camera.

Perfect for Intended Use
October 26, 2017
We bought these to use in our camera and they both worked exactly as intended. Buying a two-pack allowed us to keep two separate events apart from one another without the photos running together, so that was super convenient. 16GB really is a pretty good amount of storage for us. I hesitate to buy larger storage cards in the event they are lost or damaged. I'd rather lose 16GB worth of data than 64GB etc., but that's just me, a personal decision.
Good Buy
May 12, 2017
I bought this to accompany the ViewSonic VFD820-50 8-Inch Digital Photo Frame. I can't tell you how many photos it will hold because that depends on the size of each photo, all I can say is that I saved over 30 to it at about 200 KB and didn't run out of room. The price was great and the packaging was well protected and arrived quickly.

Amazon is amazing I have a 2gb sd card that came with my nintendo 3ds. I am planning on playing pokemon sun and with the demo and full game the data would be more than 2 gb. I bought a 32 gb sdhc card from amazon and I was able to transfer my data over to it. I tested it on my nintendo 3ds all my progress is still there. It is perfect, now to be honest I should have upgraded to a sd card that had more space long ago because of all the game I play. I am glad I did it, so I can enjoy pokemon sun and other 3ds games that I buy a hard or digital copy of.
Perfect for Nintendo 2DS
September 21, 2016
I needed an sd card for my Nintendo 2ds and this has enough capacity to store plenty of games. It was instantly recognized by the Nintendo 2ds and I have not had any issues since.
It works for my Mac Air
August 5, 2016
I tried a micro with adapter and that didn't work. I'm using it in my MacBook Air with solid state drive to increase my overall storage. I was able to move a lot of files here that were cluttering my Mac but I didn't want to necessarily delete them. My Mac just sees this as another drive and I can now put items on it that I may not need now but would like to hang on to if necessary. So, for that it works perfectly and writes fast.
Great authentic product
January 25, 2016
Great authentic product! Sadly I had to return it as my VW memory card slot doesn't support SDXC (SDHC is it's max) but would buy again from seller. Returned it on my own dime a week ago to avoid the $$ of a UPS prepaid label for such a small item, hope the refund/return works out. I wish I hadn't. My mother bought 2 of these today as extra photo storage space for he laptop and husbands tablet. Cheapest fast memory you can buy and SanDisk is the gold standard for SD cards.

They work and get the job done.
June 17, 2017
The camera works pretty well. Wish they could replace the double A batteries with triple A batteries. The resolution is good and night vision distances are acceptable. One of my Bushnells picked up a black bear in my side yard at 8:20 pm one night in August. It was dark and the bear was 60+ feet away. No I'm not being payed for this review.

August 9, 2016
Works as expected. Only issue was that it doesn't work with a memory card larger than 32G and I tried a 128G and it didn't work. Took me a little time to figure out that's what it was. The instructions recommend a 32G but don't say it won't work with larger so just keep that in mind and order a 32G card with it. Haven't messed with all setting but video and pics have both been pretty much exactly as expected.
Our fifth 6MP Bushnell Trophy Cam
July 14, 2016
We have four of these cameras that we have bought at different times and a couple of other Bushnell's more advanced cameras. We have been pleased with all of the Bushnell products, they probably are not the greatest, but we have them to be consistent. The oldest 6 MP we have, and it is still in use and is seven years old. We bought a Moulterie and it didn't work out of the box and we received TERRIBLE customer service, shipped it back to Moulterie and never heard from them again, since then we have been dedicated Bushnell camera fans. We also like keeping the brand consistent so that the open and close, remove the card (particularly on a cold day) is consistent across the cameras. The fancier Bushnell's are nice, but the 6 MP is a work horse.

February 1, 2016
For the money, this camera works great except that alkaline batteries won't hold up long at all in freezing temperatures. I didn't pay attention to the type of batteries to use though??? I purchased lithium, hope this fixes that problem. Another issue is that the menu sometimes takes a minute or two to come on. If lithium works for at least 6 months, I would recommend this product. I'll try and comment after 6 months about whether or not lithium works better. Alkaline (8 batteries) lasts about 2 weeks in freezing temperatures.
Fun product. Very good quality.
October 6, 2015
Bought this to capture images and video of the wildlife at my cabin. Package arrived quickly, though with dented packaging that concerned me. But no damage to the product itself. Directions were fairly easy to follow and after a couple days if trial and error, got it to work very well. The strap was not completely effective at holding the camera up on the tree. Had to wrap it a couple times to get it to hold, but once in place it didn't budge too much. Have had it out in the rain and it appears to be rainproof as advertised. Daytime pictures/video surprisingly clear. Recommend 15-20 sec duration for video capture. Night time pix lower quality, but certainly able to easily identify the elk, deer, skunk and squirrels. Kinda fun to see what we could capture in our property. Very good quality for the price. Recommend it to wildlife enthusiasts. After seeing a pattern in the date stamped images, we were able to determine the deer's routine of coming through our property at predictable times, which I imagine would also be helpful to hunters.
Great buy for sub $100
January 1, 2015
This camera really seems to excel on the detection circuitry. The photo clarity and flash range isn't as good as my browning camera's, nor is the user interface as good, or the strap for securing it to a tree. But it takes a pretty good photo day and night. It also seems to last a long time on a set of batteries. Several thousands of photos thus far on a set of lithium batteries. It gets the job done, and for less than $100 it's a great buy. You can get the superior browning camera's for $130, but I don't feel they pick up movement as well. Good, but not as well.

Bought for camera but will use with camcorder
September 26, 2017
Bought this to use with my camera,a fuji finepix, while I was on vacation. I kept getting a card error signal in my camera. So I returned it and they sent me another one right away, but i got the same error message. I compared it to my other sd cards and this has a different code than my others. So I did try it in my canon camcorder and it worked fine so I will use it for that. Check with your manual for the correct sd card code to see if this will work with it.

Had it since April and it still works. Just a note of advice: remove the SD card from the camera BEFORE the battery, or you could accidentally lose files. Aside from that, works great. c:
and took LOTS of great pics with old friends who were visiting
April 8, 2017
I need help. Bought the new 64GB disk for my Canon Powershot A640 camera, went to the beach and redwoods, and took LOTS of great pics with old friends who were visiting. When I loaded camera disk into computer to download the pics, it asks me to format disk. Am afraid that if I do that, I will lose everything. Drats. I need those pics. Once in a lifetime shots. Any ideas? Other than this little glitch, I like the mass amount of photos I can take with this disk.
I feel like these cards are overpriced for this day in age
August 23, 2016
I feel like these cards are overpriced for this day in age. San Disk cards are always a good buy when you need storage as they are quick and reliable, but since they have been out so long you would think they would have found a way to make them more affordable? I did not get the easy open package, but I did not have trouble opening the manufacture package. It tore open without scissors or any other help. I use mine in my laptop and computer i have had so many computers break it is nice to know my important photos and things are stored on a card like this.

Good qualityThis product was a personal purchase for myself at the normal retail price. I am reviewing it solely because I want to share my experience with other potential customers. I have received no compensation for my review nor do I have any relationship with the seller or manufacturer of this product.
Love them.
January 13, 2016
Here is the only reason that I am giving it 4 stars. I do not like the lock slider on the side of the SD card. This might be helpful to a lot of other people for many reasons, but I can say for me, that it hinders my experience. The main reason is that I am a hunter, and use these SD cards for trail cameras, and if someone wants to mess with my camera, they can either steal (which obviously the product can't prevent) or lock my SD card. Not to mention I have accidentally locked one myself and lost 2 weeks worth of pictures because the camera couldn't operate while locked. Hope this helps! Other then that, fantastic product!

January 22, 2017
System overall is pretty good, doesn't always activate with motion for every picture. I noticed that seller dramatically increased priced, in the short time from purchasing this camera, which I question. At the original purchase price that I paid, it was a fair marketable cost. This is the major issue as to why I did not give a 4-5 star evaluation. Fast delivery.
1 for 2 so far.
November 11, 2016
Bought 2 on 9/22/2016, didn't need to set them out till yesterday, 11/10/2016 one of the LCD screens was broken in the middle making it impossible to adjust any settings on it. One was fine. Now getting push back from Amazon about getting a replacement. Not really happy about them currently, but this is a product review.I will update on the quality of the product at a later time.
Great camera - day and night, but not watertight
August 13, 2016
Have used it to record bird activity at my two posts and 6 bird feeders - discovered that the IR feature works great and birds feed don't visit the backyard buffet at night - but rats do. I've tried to live trap them (a humane effort at pest control) - I have film footage of catching a squirrel in my trap.Swapping the memory card every 4 days to keep the work load manageable, I discovered that rain penetrated the seal on the door of the camera and collected at the bottom of the case - a couple of times the batteries were wet. This is highly disturbing. After closing down my rat buffet, I shut down the camera - will try to water proof the camera - perhaps with electrical tape. Good camera, water tightness issue is the reason for the 3 star rating.
First the good: The camera does work and takes good photos ...
February 1, 2016
First the good: The camera does work and takes good photos and videos both day and night. Now the bad: There is nothing intuitive about this camera. Unless you think like the designers did you need to have the manual in your lap to program it. I used it to video my cats' nighttime activities to be certain the new one isn't taking over nor being bullied. It is a battery eater in video mode. So I searched for and finally found the correct power converter. Shame on Bushnell for designing a power interface that is so obscure and not offering to sell the correct one. To mount the camera on a tripod I had to relocate the locking screw off-center because the plug for the power source won't fit between the camera and the tripod base. Had Bushnell made the mount a bit higher it would not have been a problem, neither would it have been necessary to reconfigure the tripod. Now that the power source is attached, it just hangs there, unsupported, and frequently falls out on its own. Another problem that good design would have eliminated. To change the SD card, the power source must be removed because the camera can't be opened while it is connected. A power input location someplace other than the very bottom of the camera would eliminate these problems. Bushnell has been designing some very good products for a very long time and this is not worthy of the name they have established. I have to wonder if they have been bought out by another company which is trading on their good reputation but is letting their quality slip much like the KitchenAid stand mixer is junk compared to the ones built years ago by Hobart.
Good daytime trail cam
September 30, 2015
Got this Bushnell for a great price ($79.99) and received it a day before its estimated arrival date. So I've been using it for about a month now and , except for the blurry night shots, I'm happy with it. The trigger speed is much better than the older model Primos I've been using. I've had the two set up right next to each other and the Bushnell consistently triggers its shutter in time to catch a passing subject while the Primos consistently triggers when the subject is completely past, or almost out, of the shot. However, if a subject cooperates by stopping and hamming it up for the camera, the Primos takes better night time photos. The only time the Bushnell doesn't blur the subject in a situation like that, is when the subject stops and stands perfectly still when the shutter trips. If it's moving, I can't even tell the difference between a cat or dog or racoon or possum. They're just too blurry. I've experimented with every setting available and every combination of settings. Certain settings do work better than others, but nothing completely clears up the blur. The parts of the photo that are not moving look just fine though. The daytime shots are mostly fine. Maybe some blurry legs if something is running fast but generally I can tell exactly what it is or identify who it is, and that's good enough for me.The main thing I like about this Bushnell is the trigger speed. After all, it doesn't matter how nice the photo looks if the subject is already out of the shot when the shutter is tripped. On the other hand, it doesn't matter if the subject is captured within the shot if it's too blurry to tell what it is. If the nighttime subjects were clear, I'd give this cam 5 stars. But night time subjects are very important to me, so that's the reason I'm giving it only 3 stars.
Great motion and infrared, but poor camera
July 30, 2015
Infrared and motion systems are great! Does well capturing motion as much as 60 feet away and decently illuminates a good 35 feet. Caught many images of local deer and even a moose couple in the first week! As a nature enthusiast, I'm thrilled! Some questions asked about shooting through glass: Works fine in timed mode as long as it doesn't kick on the infrared illumination which bounces right off the glass into the lens. I don't recall the effect on the motion detection through glass because I was more interested in incremental images.Hoping to catch a picture of the local bear(s): the motion system will catch them, but I may not be able to make out the image.Unfortunately, the exposure system is very poor! Daytime photos are often washed out with massively blown highlights; and, I'm even shooting north--away from the sun! Very low dynamic range. Partly cloudy skies with cloud shadows moving in and out of frame cause quite the shifts in exposure. Camera has troubles deciding between B&W/infrared and color at dusk and dawn. No controls for compression of image means you're stuck with the low quality setting yielding a 1 megabyte file for each 6 megapixel image (plus side is that this means you can fit about 4,000 images on a 4GB SD card). Motion blurs easily at dusk and dawn due to low sensitivity of the image sensor that doesn't seem to have any auto ISO. Lens angle appears close to equivalent of a 35mm film camera's 50mm lens. As a photographer, I am VERY disappointed. Will make a great little security camera in the off-season.Update 8/17/2015:Camera shot about 10,000 images at temperatures in the 40's for lows and 90's for highs before needing replacement of the eight AA batteries I put in it--and the batteries weren't even brand new!As for the exposure... After seeing others saying what wonderful pictures they're getting, I'm left to wonder if I got a dud or they're just not photographically inclined.

May 29, 2017
This card was recommended for use with a Film to Digital Convert I purchased, and made the Converter freeze. Only because the Converter could not accept it. User Manual with Converter states such, but Amazon recommended this card to purchase with the converter. Now I have a perfectly fine memory card without a slot to use it in. I'm sure I'll find a use for it someplace.
Very slow for RAW with DSLR
March 27, 2017
Extremely slow with my Canon 80D DSLR — I often have to wait for 20 or 30 seconds after taking pictures to be able to look at them! Granted, I am using raw, so they are about 30 MB each… So this card is probably fine if you're just shooting JPEG's, it avoid for RAW.

November 27, 2015
I had purchased this flash memory card to make an emergency boot disk for my MacBook Pro. The application, 'Disk Maker X' did not recognize this SDXC card. OK, I'll use the application, 'Techtool Pro' to make a recovery/repair boot volume... This card "worked", but the speed of the interface was w a y t o o s l o w . I should have spent a couple of extra bucks on a USB flash drive instead. This card will be regulated to the camera bag.
Great for a point and shoot, not so great for DSLRs.
July 25, 2015
The quality of this card is relative to how you plan on using it. I bought it last year to use in my point and shoot digital camera (12MP) while on vacation and it worked perfectly. No, a year later, I've bought a DSLR and found it just wasn't up to snuff. My DSLR (26MP) creates files of too large a size for this card to quickly save. Want to take one picture? Fine, but be prepared to wait 20+ seconds for it to be fully saved onto the card, during which time you will be unable to take any other photos. Want to shoot in burst mode? Forget about it; it's not going to work. What I had been unaware of when I first bought this card is that memory cards have speed ratings which indicate how quickly they can process the data you want to write on them. To further complicate things, there are two types of ratings, Speed Class and Ultra High Speed. Speed classes come in four ratings, C2, C4, C6, and C10, which means they can write data at a rate of 2MB/s, 4MB/s, 6MB/s, and 10MB/s, respectively, or UHS comes in UHS U1 and U3, which writes at speeds of 10MB/s and 30MB/s. The higher the MB/s, the better the card. This card writes at a C4 speed (as indicated by the number 4 encircled by a C on the label). It's a decent speed for smaller files, but considering a RAW photo files can be rather large, if you're shooting high res, RAW files, this is not the card for you. It will absolutely freeze up your camera. If you are interested in an SD card for a DSLR, look at something like the Lexar Professional 600x 32GB SDHC UHS-I Flash Memory Card LSD32GCRBNA600. Since switching to the C10/U1 Lexar, I've been infinitely more happy with my camera. The Sandisk C4 32GB remains in my point and shoot, where it's better suited.
I made a mistake buying a Class 4 card. Don't you make the same mistake if you need a faster card!
July 31, 2014
Caution. Be smarter than I was, and make sure that you know what "Class" you need. A Class 4 card may not work in your application. This was for my first camera that didn't use Compact Flash cards. Apparently even the slowest modern CF cards work for video--not so with SD, where you need to be sure you have a fast card--and Class 4 is not a fast card. Works well enough for stills, but Class 4 will not work for video. I ordered in haste, and then had to get another Class 10 card to support video on a DSLR. Not very costly, though, so not worth returning. I now use this card for storage in a slide scanner, and I'll probably take it on trips as backup, but it is not a first line card for me.
Pros and Cons of 32 gb SanDisk SDHC Card
May 15, 2013
I have been using SanDisk cards in my DSLR Canon Rebel for the past three years and have found them to be reliable as far as recording pictures and sound. They are versatile in that it is easy to transfer data to and from them when inserted into my laptop computer. I use them largely for pictures and movies I take with my DSLR (digital single lens reflex camera).ProsCompactLightweightConvenientSmallReliableConsYou don't get 32gb of memory, you get 29.7gb of memory according to my computer. What the rest of the 2.3gb are used for, I cannot say, but that is what you get.Video is usually recorded in MVI format (Apple supported), which is more the fault of cameras like Canon, Nikon and others. So you have to convert the video to MPEG format if you wish to edit it using Windows software (requires a separate program). MVI files are also about four times the size as MOV files or MPEG files are.Transfers are slow for movies but almost instantaneous for pictures. Movie transfers usually take several minutes. These little cards are quite fragile. I recommend handling them with great care. Rough handling, such as "shoving" a card into a slot because you're in a hurry can damage the ultra-thin copper connectors. Dropping and accidental strikes can result in an useable chip and there goes your money. Keep them in their little plastic cases when not in use. Insert them slowly into their slots. Prepare before you take your picture. Be ready to shoot, even for spontaneous pictures. If you slide the little plastic tab on the side, it will render the chip "permanent" until you slide it back into the top position. This makes it impossible to transfer memory away from the chip but allows you the ability to make pictures at your local kiosk such as a Target or Walmart or Walgreens that have such kiosks that accept disks. Once you slide it back, you can transfer data to and from your computer.

April 8, 2017
Purchased this as a birthday present for my father. Seemed good quality upon arrival, sturdy, solid build, but on the first use the SD card and the SD card slot destroyed each other, and yes the SD card size was the right size for the reader. Now the computer reads as an error and the whole thing doesn't work.
I do work carefully to place the device in the best location possible
August 21, 2016
Frustrating product. My previous trail cam cost about the same but also recorded the weather. I still have not found a trail cam that has a goode sensor and trigger. I do work carefully to place the device in the best location possible, but because animals tend to trot through my yard - I don't like to use bait - the camera needs to respond in seconds to catch anything of interest. Over time, the sensor works less reliably even when I take care to keep the surface clean. My last set of pictures resulted in 13 empty night videos, and one video where the camera finally caught the fox that had been triggering it but trotted through before the video turned on. I know these cameras aren't that expensive so I shouldn't expect much. If I were trudging off into the forest to find lucrative hunting sites I'd be pretty frustrated with this camera. Also, it takes forever to format every time you replace the batteries.

Good photos - when its working
August 4, 2015
Overall, a pretty "good" unit that does its intended task well when it works. The only - and recurring - issue is the programming appears to 'self-clear' rendering the unit dormant until its reprogrammed. This has become a pain-in-the-neck and a disappointment to the performance or intermittent performance. The pictures are good - both day and night time photos. I have owned the camera for two months and like the results when its working. It would be a good value if the performance was consistent and predictable.

Likely deserves a better rating as photo quality and sensitivity are pretty good for an inexpensive toy tied to a tree, but access to higher speed review has excaped me making any review verrrry tedious. No doubt operator is limiting factor.
Really unhappy - Bushnell - you are supposed to have a better reputation than this.

Waiting to hear from Bushnell. It skips hours at a time. I got this to aid in trapping a feral, mean tomcat that's been spraying inside several houses in the area. I know it skips hours at a time on photo - because something is eating the food in the trap without setting the trap off. Also - it hasn't recorded ME coming to check the trap several times. Really unhappy - Bushnell - you are supposed to have a better reputation than this. I think this is going to go back to Amazon, and I'll buy another brand.I have not heard from Bushnell, so it's going back.

I cannot get these to work in any of my devices. They're supposed to work in my cameras, but they won't work in either one. I'm not sure what these are meant for, or if they're defective, but they don't work in anything they're supposed to work in. Of all the memory cards I've ever boughten, these are the only ones rejected by every device. It's weird. SanDisk is a good brand, but this pair of cards is useless as near as I can tell for the average person.

Very slow, compared to my other SanDisk 32 GB cards and reported two error messages during a photo shoot. I was terrified the pictures would not save. Luckily, they did. I formatted the card before the shoot and it took a long time to format it to wipe it clean, after the shoot. I have never had an experience like this from my two other cards of the same company and stats.
Not very satisfied.

Great concept. Very poor design/ application. You have to unscrew it to access the back panel which means taking it off. The UI Interface is buggy at best. It takes several minutes to access the Wi-Fi on the device. When you delete images through the web interface, it evidently does not delete them from the SD card. I bought one, hoping that it was going to be the next best thing, however it needs much much work. Unless they update the firmware and web interface to be more efficient and not take five minutes to download imagery, I will not buy another. It is actually faster to remove the SD card and download imagery the old-fashioned way then it is to use the web interface and wireless utility. It defeats the purpose. Come on Kodiak, you've got a great idea, you just need to package it much better. But it does work. That's about all I can say at this point
Gets the job done I guess :/

Well if U have the patience in waiting for things to copy, then you'll be fine. It rates at about 28gbs (Of actual Space) and copies files onto it at about 4mb a sec, maybe a little faster depending what mood it's in. Trying to copy something that's like 15 gbs onto it though lol...yeah you'll be waiting for at least a good hour. My net can download about 4x faster then what this can do, so yeah...that's pathetic. Been working fine for me otherwise. It's a Class 4 though, what do I expect right. If y'all want something faster, then get a better class version besides 4, the lower then number is, the better usually. Definitely not good to use as a installer for anything as it goes really slow. I don't understand how this thing can have all this memory, yet be SOOO slow, and trust me, it's not the PC haha. I've used this in a regular internal card reader and a USB one. Speed was the same. It didnt work on my friends MAC either. Not for sure what kind it is exactly but I had put a couple of things on it to transfer to his laptop, Popped it in the SD card slot, didnt want nothing to do with it. Didn't even pop up with errors or nothing. He has a 16gb Kingston he tired, worked perfectly, so it wasn't his port. As far as my experience with it though, I don't like it, WAAAAAYYYYYY to slow for my needing haha
Does not work with older card readers
January 28, 2014
I ordered 2 of these (2gb SanDisk-branded SD card), they arrived promptly, and did not function. So I shipped them back for a replacement. Two new cards also arrived promptly, and ALSO failed to work.- Attempting to copy files to the card results in a "disk not found" error.- I tried two different card readers, both of which work perfectly well with other SD cards.- I tried reformatting the cards -- this also failed, with a cryptic error message.- I tried toggling the lock switch -- which did nothing.Shipping these back for a refund.UPDATE -- I ordered a brand new SD card reader, and these cards work with it. They don't work with any reader more than a few years old. I don't know why.

Computer would not recognize as mass storage device. Called Bushnell and tried various things, no luck. Very disappointed, can't find cable to fit for TV to view either. I have 30 seconds of something trashing my porch and can't watch it!

over exposed images
September 18, 2015
Right out of the box I've had problems with image quality. Almost no color images are captured, most of the daytime images are all washed out due to overexposure (and no, it's not pointing into the sun). The night vision works fine. I'm pretty disappointed.

This is not an SD card.
September 10, 2017
I wasted my money on this because I thought it was a regular SD card. It is not. It only works in devices compatible with SDXC. Has this happened to anyone else.
BEWARE - This item is not returnable - I would not have purchased had that been clearly stated.

This doesn't work in my camera that is was supposed to be compatible in and now I went to return it and there is a no return policy. Guess I'll have to reach the descriptions more carefully. Bummer.

Didn't fit the electronics purchased for; returned but deeply sadden that I had to make a 30.4 mile trip to turn in to amazon station when there are several locker stations within a 5 miles radius of my house!
Try another brand if you need a 32GB SDHC card.

Dead on arrival. identical specs with other brands - SONY and TOSHIB- but this SANDISK was not recognized by my computer like the other brands were. . Now I'm trying to find out how to get a refund for this dud.
Second time's a charm
October 28, 2015
The was my first SD card purchase. I got it in the mail quickly. I put it in my new dashcam and everything was fine for a few days. Then it stopped being recognized. I put it in my laptop and it didn't work there either. So I returned it and got a replacement. The second one is working so far but I haven't had it very long. I hope it doesn't fail like the first one did at some point in the future.EDIT 1-1-2016: So the second SD card died on me. It worked for a few months then just stopped working one day. I took it out of the dashcam and put it in my laptop and it would not read. Now I am out of the Amazon return window so I am stuck with a useless SD card. I'm just glad I only had dashcam video on the card and not priceless family photos or something.
Spend the extra 7 bucks or so for a class 10 SD card or better!
February 28, 2015
With the prices of SD cards now, purchasing anything under a class 10 card is a waste of money. Sure it will hold a lot of data BUT will the new technology you buy next year or the year after even support a class 4 card?Do yourself a favor and do a little research on SD card speed before you buy. TheI learned my lesson, I purchased this to use for a data logger for a Raspberry Pi project and it works fine but for 7 dollars more, I could be using a class 10 SD card for video work.
