Great summer sleeping bag!
August 18, 2017
This bag worked great for our summer camping trip. I'm small 5'2" and found it perfect and comfortable. My husband who is 5'10" was not impressed and said he needed a bigger bag. However, he likes movement when he is sleeping. Also it was warm out. If it was winter I'm assuming he would have been happier as it would have been snug and kept him warm.
Love coleman!
June 18, 2017
Put two of these together for a late spring camping trip for my husband and I. Didn't even feel the chill! It was maybe low/mid 30s that night here in New England. The only thing that was cold was our heads poking out.
Loved this sleeping bag.
March 26, 2017
I loved it! went on a camping trip it was about 30 degrees at night. I was totally warm. upper body. I would wear double socks or a fleece blanket for your feet. My feet were cold. No snags no rips. Honestly I would buy a compression bag or straps. you will need to expand the bag that comes with it.
Works for me!
October 29, 2016
Decided to write a review because I rely so much on them when buying stuff. First let me say - I don't camp, and I'd never had a sleeping bag before, so it's not like I can compare to anything else. Having said that, I must say that this one is perfect for what I need - I got it so I could sleep on a sidewalk in NYC (in the standby line for SNL tickets), and every time it keeps me completely warm, and as comfortable as I could possibly be. I could not put it back in the bag, but I have it inside a suitcase where I put whatever else I need to bring with me.
Grandsons love them!
December 24, 2014
I bought these for my grandsons. They are as thick and warm as advertised. The interior bedding is soft and also made of a material that is warm when put against the skin. I wish the bags they fit in were a little bigger. They are a bit difficult to roll back up and I wasn't able to get them back into their bags they came with. Yet, the bags themselves are great and the price is worth it.

Nice sleeping bag, very light
June 17, 2017
This is a great sleeping bag for not too cold weather. I don't think I would want to sleep in it below 40 degrees. It's light, rolls up into a compact roll and was quite comfortable to sleep in. Very pleased
Just what I needed
March 5, 2017
Went camping last weekend and slept through temperatures ranging from 65-25F. I know this isn't meant for temperatures below 30, so I just wore more clothes to bed. I never got too hot and it kept me warm enough throughout the night. Its also comfortable and light weight. I didn't even attempt to put it back in the bag because the straps work just fine at keeping it rolled up.
Great, Down to Freezing (without the price tag and hassles of Down) and Beyond!
February 27, 2017
Wow! Rated only for ten degrees warmer than the last bag I destroyed (caught a lightweight throw in the zipper, a no-no) volumetrically, this bag is virtually half the size and weight of the 20-degree job, and is fabulous value for a sleeping bag. Don't get me wrong, I love a good bag as much as the next guy, but $200 plus for a bag is a bit steep for a simple guy like me, and I like good value. This is it. If you're camping out of the trunk of a car or SUV, this bag's for you. On the other hand, if you're camping out of some RV, well, you're not really camping, anyway. If you're hiking the Appalachian trail, or some such, you might want to shell out the extra $200 for that North Face, after all...But if you're anything like me (highly unlikely, and consider yourself fortunate) you like good value, or as they say in slimy financial-circles: 'ROI'. Oh, and if 'The Little Woman' happens to throw you out on your ear, you'll love the comfort this bag provides, and as long as your winters aren't in North Dakota, hey, you'll be 'snug as a bug' in this...
Great product and definitely worth buying

I just took this sleeping bag up to science camp with my 5th graders and not only did this keep me warm in a chilly cabin, it was also thin enough to not overheat. It's a great sleeping bag and is of really great quality. The interior isn't really flannel but it is very soft and very comfortable to sleep in and the fabric does not stick to your skin if you get warm at night. The easy roll is just an added bonus.

COMFY!! My 6 & 7 year old boys looked forward to sleeping in these! They absolutely loved them. I used two as sheets for my air mattress, best sleep ever. I love the inside material of these sleeping bags.
Warm, comfy sleeping bag
May 28, 2015
I'll start off by saying that i didn't buy this for actual camping. I bought it so that I could wait in line overnight for tickets to Saturday Night Live (anyone who lives in NY knows that this is really the only way to get tix unless you know someone). I needed something that would keep me warm towards the end of the fall while also keeping me comfortable sleeping outside on the concrete sidewalk. This was great for that. The temperature was easily in the low thirties that night, and I wasn't cold at all. Most people on line around us were jealous of our warm sleeping bags while they sat shivering. Overall, I think this is a great sleeping bag, and I am going to keep it in case I decide to go camping in the future.

Great price for a great tent & got it next ...
August 27, 2017
Great price for a great tent & got it next day w/$4.99 shipping made me camp-ready fir $70 by the following weekend. Bought seam-sealer as well, just in case, but as-is did a great job keeping out the wet & bugs in NW Missouri during 2017 solar eclipse weekend (light rain morning & afternoon 2/3 days).Definitely follow the recommendation to set up w/2 people. Extra set of hands during the raising part of setup avoids risk of forcing/damaging tent or possibly hurting yourself by off-balance leaning on muddy/uneven ground. When set up, pulled 4 corners taught and the front gray/tub surface beneath the door was wrinkled like maybe the base is not really square or maybe one of the extension poles is longer than the other and pulling oddly on that section of fabric from a higher angle, but tent worked beautifully regardless and I will be using it again in the near future. (Also hard to tell if ground was weird or just my tent has that quirk.)Breakdown was super easy for 1 person, even able to wipe off residual moisture and dirt/mud during fold-up & rolling. Tent & hardware tucked back in to carrying case with room to spare for odd accessories (small addit. tarp w/stakes & ties, seam-sealer bottle, and small flashlight for inside erected tent).Tons of room for 1 person in sleeping bag on twin-size air mattress, had space for all my gear and room for my 3 camping companions to sit inside w/me in event of rain (they had their own tents). Could stand but had to bend head so inside clearance probably 4'6"-5' high at center.Plenty of room for 2people to sleep plus gear. 3people sleeping plus gear would be pretty tight functionally. Would not recommend 4people unless gear kept in vehicle, separate tent, or you're all light campers and don't mind snuggling up together. The included, small exterior ground-tarp ("welcome mat") is basically useless for that purpose, better to place it in the corner nearest the door and remove footwear outside, then place muddy shoes atop mat so they can dry inside tent.At the end of the day, great product, have already recommended it via Amazon to friends & family.Coleman brand might incorporate a soft-sided 4-walled w/lid water resistant "shoebox" in right front corner of tent (nearest corner to door as you enter w/o fulling unzipping door). Have 2 access zippers, one on the outside (similar to power-plug access and more like upside-down window flap) above gray-bathtub base for placing shoes inside from exterior, one on inside lid for dry-air ventilation w/o contaminating majority area of tent w/whatever may be on shoes. Just a suggestion.
This tent is outstanding! It survived a New Mexico monsoon storm.
August 17, 2017
I really didn't expect much for a tent this inexpensive. Wow was I surprised! I bought it for a one-off camping trip so I didn't want to spend a lot. This tent survived the ultimate test: A New Mexico mountain monsoon storm with 40 mph winds and driving rain. The tent did not leak one drop even though I could see a literal stream flowing under it at the height of the storm which lasted about 2 hours. Since I had a lot of time to gaze up into it and look at every detail while waiting out the storm, I was quite impressed by the way it was designed with reinforcement at tension points and how well sewn it was. Also, the way it's designed with a mesh top and rain fly over that means condensation was not a problem. It says it's a 4 person tent…uh, not really. My queen size air mattress took up nearly the whole tent. Maybe 4 small children…It's very easy to set up and take down and Coleman sewed the directions into the carrying bag so they will never be lost.Super impressed with this high quality tent at a fantastic price.
BUY IT!
June 12, 2017
This thing is gigantic!! Absolutely easy to put up and is big enough to fit 2 adults and a 100 pound dog and still have room. The description says it has a 4'11 center height but I stand at 5'3 and have an inch when standing flat foot inside. Amazing tent, no issues, no regrets of buyin this tent. You know when you're laying in bed thinking about life and how cozy your bedroom feels??? Well this tent feels like you're own personal bedroom but in the woods. It's perfect.
Great quality, good for a lot of climates, just not sandstorms
September 14, 2016
Coleman is well-known for the quality of its products. This didn't disappoint. I bought this for Burning Man, which was my mistake. I thought the top of the tent was sealed, but it's not - there is a portion of the top of the dome that is mesh, which is nice if you want ventilation and to have a view of the sky. There's also a rain fly to put over the top to cover the mesh in case it does rain. However, if you're going to the desert where there's sandstorms or similar weather, it's not the best suited as sand/dirt easily flies around the rain cover to get into the tent. This was no fault of Coleman's though - just my ignorance and I hope it helps some of you better prepare by determining if this is the right tent model for your adventures. Good for outdoors, good for the rain, not so good for sandstorms. Aside from that, the tent was sturdy and I was able to put it together by myself in about 10-15 minutes. There are side pockets on the inside, and there's placement to hang a lantern from the center on the inside for light at night. The description says its a 4-person tent, and it probably could fit four "average" sized people tightly together without luggage, but it's good sizing for a couple with luggage, and maybe a third depending on how tall/big you all are. For me by myself, it was great having the extra room to have my belongings out. I would highly recommend!
Handles 30+ mph Winds!
July 11, 2016
Great tent! We took this to the coast the first weekend of owning it and found out as we arrived that we would be battling 30+ mph winds! When I had bought this tent I had seen in the promo video that it would withstand 30 mph winds and our trip really put that to the test, and it proved it true! The tents poles have great flexibility and bent and molded to the wind instead of snapping. we stayed warm and protected in our spacious tent. My fiance and I brought a queen size mattress pad that fit with more than enough room to spare for out luggage. There are 2 mesh pockets on each end of the tent where we were able to keep small valuables and a ring at the top of the tent where I was able to hang a lantern. We love this tent!Only negative...although this tent withstood 30mph winds, the poles bent in, which if happened during the night the tent would be on our faces. We had to include extra tie downs and steaks. So if you are going to buy this tent, just bring or buy extra steaks and tie downs...especially if you are going to be in more extreme weather. Once we had the tent braced a little better it was invincible to the winds!
Great Tent / Great Value
April 13, 2016
Great tent. I set it up in my backyard, to give it a trial run (and seam seal) before taking it out camping. There are pros and cons...Pros:Carry bag - the tent comes neatly packed in a carry bag, with tent, poles, rain fly, ground stakes, door mat, and instructions.Setup - Easy. Set up by myself, with rain fly, in under 15 minutes. Didn't have to look at the directions. Only suggestion would be to put the word "front" somewhere on the rain fly to indicate which way it goes. However, a quick glance at the packaging will tell you.Materials - the tent material seems to be of good quality, and should hold up well when taken care of. The zippers are not heavy duty, but i see no issues with them. The floor is heavy duty tarp material.Screens - the tent has large screen panels on the "ceiling", which makes for a great view when the rain fly is not on. There is an additional window, and screen on the door for extra viewing and airflow.Floor Vent - there is a vent near the rear of the tent, which allows for additional airflow.Cord access - there is a small zippered panel in the front corner, that let's you run an extension cord into the tent.Other "Pros":I got the Navy/Grey tent, and the colors are cool. Got some compliments from the neighbors on it. I like that the rain fly comes with the guy lines already attached. The interior gear pockets are fine, good for holding your phone. Wouldn't stuff them with anything heavy. There is a little "ring" at the center of the ceiling, to hang a small light. While you could technically fit 2 queen air mattresses, I would not. It leaves no floor space for gear. I will put in one mattress, and leave the other half of the tent for my kids Pack n' Play, and gear. It will fit the 3 of us comfortably. However, unless you intend to get cozy, I wouldn't advise this for 4 adults (but it could be done).Cons:Stakes - the stakes are just ok...they are the generic skinny steel ones. I would recommend spending an extra $10 bucks and buy some good ones.Footprint - the tent doesn't come with a footprint, though I imagine this helps keep the cost so low. Not a big deal, I use a tarp anyways.Door Screen - the upper half of the door can be unzipped to reveal the screen window. I really would have liked if the entire door could be screen, not just the top half.I also purchased some Coleman Seam Sealer, and sealed all the seams inside the tent, and the rain fly. Some of the seams are taped, but it's just good practice to spend the time to do this, no matter what brand/cost/etc tent you have. It saves headache down the road.Overall, I'm very pleased with the tent, and the cost. It will work well for short camping trips with a small family, couple, or individual.

These are comfortable and easy to inflate and deflate
August 12, 2017
These are comfortable and easy to inflate and deflate. They are pretty fragile though, on the first trip out a small twig put a 2" slice right through the cover, making it useless. They do include a small patch kit, but I wasn't expecting to need it before I'd even used it once.

I got it with a good deal. I have seen similar items from my friends when we were camping. These camp pad are like tiny mattresses and very comfortable. The only downside is it takes quite some time to self inflate. The items I ordered were delivered to a wrong address, Amazon got me a new set very quickly, so nice and trustworthy customer service from Amazon.
A Really Comfy Night's Sleep.
February 9, 2017
I am a youth pastor and I bought this pad specifically for overnight youth retreats where we sleep on floors and whatnot. I was particularly happy with the integrated pillow (one less thing to have to carry) Like all air mattresses, this one is not really self-inflating, you'll need to blow a bit to get it filled quickly. The pillow section completely requires inflation, not self-inflating at all. The pad is fairly thick and reasonably wide, which made for a good night sleep on a carpeted floor. I am 6' 0" tall and I was able to be completely on the pad - head to toe. The pillow is a little small for me, but comparable to any other travel pillow I might use, although that pillow would not be attached. The pad also has attached web straps for storage which is very convenient. I am also an avid hiker/mountaineer, familiar with technical hiking/camping gear. This pad is not meant for that kind of activity. This is really a car camping piece of equipment. The pad is quite heavy and fairly bulky, far more so than you would ever want in your pack. If you are driving in to a campground, need something for that unexpected house guest, or are sleeping on a floor in your church with a bunch of high schoolers for a weekend, then you can't go wrong with this sleeping pad.
Very comfortable and easy to use
September 30, 2016
After a ton of searching for reasonably priced yet comfortable camping mats, I finally decided on this one. We bought two, and our only complaint is that the two could not be connected together. This was easily fixed with a bit of duct tape. Otherwise. these mats were easy to set up and comfortable all night long. They are reasonably wide so you don't feel like you might roll off at any moment too! I would definitely recommend this product.
Great pad for the money
September 7, 2016
Great pad for the money. It worked perfectly and was super comfortable (although we kind of cheated and had some carpet in our yurt underneath our pads). The inflatable pillow might be useful if someone was hiking in but for me was superfluous. I ended up deflating the pillow by half the second night. All n all a good pad!
Great for Camping!
July 20, 2015
Great pad for camping! The self-inflating works very well. It's comfortable. The only downside is that the pillow feature (which needs to be blown up manually) is a little odd. My 11-year old didn't like it and felt funny with it under her pillow. It seems like this would be easy to get around. Amazon had a great price on this item at the time we purchased it. I am very pleased with the quality.

Well Made Sleeping Bag
March 14, 2017
Bought this for my son's winter retreat. He found it very comfortable. He was in a heated cabin so I can't say how it would be in cold weather but it is well made. The only reason I gave 4 stars is I wish the bag that it came in was just a little bit bigger. We ended up not using it because we just couldn't get it back in the bag.
it will take you over 20 minutes to get it back in the bag
August 23, 2016
Had this overnighted to my daughter at camp because she forgot to pack hers. It works great and is warm.

Why four stars?

I'm glad you asked! Because once you take it out of the bag, it will take you over 20 minutes to get it back in. I have 5 other sleeping bags from various places and various types. I can roll them all up like a champ and get them in a bag in under 5 minutes no issue - this one...even with a zipper that unzips so you can get it back in - took me and my sister 20 minutes to cram it all in horrifically. And there is NO WAY you are getting that zipper closed like it came.
It's a good sleeping bag really good zipper
April 22, 2016
It works for the price. It's a good sleeping bag really good zipper. I have sleeping bags that are quite a bit more money. We bought this for a grandchild and I have a hard time understanding the difference in the price between our expensive sleeping bags and this Coleman. , ours are a little bit colder rated and a little bit lighter .But there's a lot of money difference.
Successfully stuffed in the stuff sack, YEAH!
December 21, 2015
To all of the naysayers who thought it couldn't be done. IN YOUR FACE! I managed to get the sleeping bag back into the zipped up stuff sack. Any one else up to the challenge? Decent product BTW.
great car camping sleeping bag
May 22, 2014
This is a great sleeping bag if you are planning on parking where you are camping and are not pressed for space. It is a rather large sleeping bag but it does keep you very warm. The first night I had it the temperature went down to 22 and I was more then comfortable in it. The only problem I have with it is that it is short. I know it was designed like that so it only comes up to you shoulders but, I am not a very tall guy I am only 5'7" and had to completely bend my knees to pull it over my head when it got cold. Because I am able to sleep in that position it was ok with me but for a lot of other guys who are taller them me it might be a real problem. It is definitely a great sleeping bag for people who only plan to go camping a couple of times a year and don't want to invest in a more expensive bag. I feel that this is extremely reasonably priced and it is a great value for your money. Just don't expect to be able to do any kind of backpacking with it because I don't even think it would be able to fit into a backpack.

Very nice product
September 26, 2017
This sleeping bag seems well made, comes with a nice stuff sack, and the two little "toggles" that help keep the bag aligned while you roll it up are a nice feature. It is comfortable and reasonably warm (though we've only used it camping in summer so far in the Pacific Northwest, with lows in the mid-40's. The reason I didn't give it five starts is that there is an annoying string sewn into the bottom of the bag (which you are supposed to wrap around the bag when it is rolled up to hold its shape), but it just got in the way and was a trip hazard as you are trying to get out of a tent. Not really needed, either, since to fit into the cover you have to compress and roll the bag much tighter than the strings would allow for. Anyway, cut that off, and the bag is fine.
Fuzzy inside
August 30, 2017
Nice old school sleeping bag shape with new school warmth, & even fuzzy inside. It does take up much more room that a stuff sack type, but it was great for camp. My daughter stayed cozy on the Northern California coast, unlike the year before in a different bag.
Decent bag for price
August 11, 2017
These are pretty comfortable and held up in the wash quite well. The only downside was the length. I am 5"7 and I felt like this bag wasn't tall enough for me. Also, the material inside is a bit scratchy; however, I am hoping it will improve with time. Overall, a decent purchase at an inexpensive price.
Slept well during our trip!
July 28, 2017
My boyfriend and I purchased two of these for a trip to the Berkshires this week. The bags are soft, easily re-rolled into their bags, and easily connect to create one big sleeping bag! I have a particular issue with "microfiber" ish linings or fabrics that catch on your skin, but wearing socks while I slept completely remedied this issue. We slept comfortably in weather that ranged from 65-45 during the night. If kept me warm during the colder evening (40's) and I get cold easily! I highly recommend this bag for cool weather!
Great product.
July 17, 2017
Only complaint was that in description it told me I was getting a 6'4" sleeping bag and I ended up getting a 5'11" one. Unfortunately wasn't going to flget it replaced in time for a canoe trip so sucked it up and used it. Now as a product it was great. I stayed very warm even though the temp dropped down to the 40s. Also there was a thunderstorm and water got in the tent, even though the outside of the sleeping bag got wet, the inside where I was stayed completely dry which is important. Great quality, great look, great buy.
Fine bag with one complaint
April 22, 2017
Bought it for my son for his school outing. No complaints about the sleeping bag, but fitting it back in the case is a nightmare. It does come with nylon cords to tie it closed though. Thank goodness since there is no way that we are getting it back in the case.

Not roomy for 4 people, water got in
October 9, 2017
Bought this for our camping trip. It says it is a 4 person tent but honestly, I don't see how 4 people would comfortably fit in here. It was just my husband and me for this tent and we put a queen six , 16.6-inch high air mattress inside and barely had enough room for our things. I wanted to leave the rain flap off to be able to see the stars through the netting at the top. Hubby suggested otherwise and I am glad he did. It rained all night, unexpectedly. Although a video promoting how waterproof this tent was was a deciding factor for purchase, it lied. We woke up to several puddles of water on the floor of the tent. Good thing the air mattress was elevated. My clothing bag left on the floor of the tent got wet, as did our socks and shoes. We even laid a tarp down to put the tent on before we set it up. That is my only complaint about this product and why I gave it 4 stars.
Coleman tent review
September 19, 2017
Setting up: I first set the tent up in my living room by myself and it was pretty easy to do so. A second person definitely helps so they can hold up the polls in the middle of the tent while you are connecting them to the tent. I first used it this past weekend for two nights. The stakes that come with this are not very good at all. They are small and have a flat bottom. We had pretty hard ground and had a stake bend while putting it in. We were able to bend it back, but it is worth buying different stakes.Rain: It ended up raining on Sunday morning and the tent held up very well even with some of our things pushing against the outside of the tent. There was no water or dampness inside the tent.Size: This says 4 person tent, but it is usual to half this amount for the true size. For two people, this was adequate. We had a double tall queen air mattress which fit, but since it was double tall, it pushed against the outer tent a little bit. With the air mattress inside, there was still room for our bags, snacks, and a small side table as well as room to change. Although, unless you are 5' tall or less, standing up straight in the tent will not happen.Packing up: We had to pack the tent while it was wet and still slightly drizzling, but it is quick and easy. The worst part is getting the air out so you can roll it up, but that comes with any tent.Accessories: The tent has a small ring (not hook) at the top to hang a lantern or other lights. We brought a light meant for under a cupboard and it lit the whole thing up. There are three netted pockets on the sides of the tent to put any loose items in which was very nice. The windows can be opened all the way even in rain as long as the rain isn't coming in sideways. There is a flap on the back that can be staked out and helps with air flow in the tent. The rain cover acts as an illuminator as well. A dim light could even work well enough to light up the whole tent.Overall, I would recommend this tent for anyone who is looking for something small to use and of high quality.
Take it easy on the poles.
August 24, 2017
Nice tent. Roomy and easy to set up. The green makes it bright inside. Nice for the money, but the money is not much so take that into consideration. The poles are much more fragile than the other four tents I own (one family camping, three backpacking). Be very cautious when setting it up. Once up, it is a very nice, sturdy tent. The extra square of material is a door mat (at least that is what we think it is since it is not shown on the box or on the directions), which can be staked down.
great
August 16, 2017
only used it once so far! set it up in about 10 mins at 3am, slept in it, got up did our thing. it does not fit the Intex Comfort plush elevated dura airbed Queen size! well it will if you blow it up inside the tent, and there will be very limited room for anything else to go in the tent. Id recommend 3 ppl comfortably with their bags, but not many more than that. but for what a tent is used for this one is awesome! easy to put up! does what its supposed to. if you put the rain fly on the right way, it does keep rain out! - 4 stars just because it barely fits a queen size mattress in it
Perfect for Our Needs
July 27, 2017
Got this for a Cub Scout Campout as we don't camp often and yet wanted something the right size, reasonably priced and good for spring/summer camping. With a trial run for working out the kinks, (the biggest being the rain fly) the second and subsequent setups took about 15 minutes each and easily done solo. While I'm not sure how well the open mesh sides covered by the rain fly would hold up in a big storm, it help up with a drizzle. We stayed dry and comfy if a bit warm for a WI summer night. Both of us were sleeping on top of our sleeping bags by morning. Not sure of long term durability and certainly not a backpack tent. I'd recommend buying a ground tarp and a set of good stakes just to make life easier for yourself.Overall a good basic tent that can easily sleep an adult and two kids with wiggle room and space for gear.
Great tent for the Money
July 12, 2017
I received the tent a couple of days ago. I decided to setup the tent in the yard before we take it camping. Everything went together perfectly. The rain fly pole was a perfect fit, and the poles worked well. The Tent is very large inside, and it took me 10 minutes by myself to setup. The tent comes with a shoe pad, with two holes so that you can stake it to the ground outside the tent for your wet shoes. My dog likes the size, and was happy to climb right in. The rain fly seams are sealed, but I can see you might want to buy some rain seal gel for the bottom of the tent to just make sure. I will send a update after we come back.

I was skeptical about the self inflating idea, but I must admit that it does work. The pad inflated to full size in about 10 minutes. The pillow leaves a lot to be desired, so we bring our own travel pillows to supplement it. The pad is comfortable, and for me is more comfortable that the 3/4" foam pad we have been using. It's cover is slippery, and the sleeping bad slides off on uneven ground. The pad deflates with a little more difficulty that it inflates....trying to roll it up and get all of the air out to get it back to its original size is next to impossible. I pulled on the straps so hard when deflating that they pulled out away from the pad. The pad isn't ruined, but the straps are now no longer tethered. We have two of them, and will be purchasing two more to replace foam pads that had been used for years.
helping make sleeping on a cot suck less
April 20, 2017
This is a huge help when camping and using my cot. The padding is nice however I still need a blanket on top to give it that real bed feeling. The blow up pillow is nice however can tough on your neck if you blow it up too much. I suggest getting some straps or something to hold the mat in place when using it on a cot because if you toss and turn it tends to move around.
Good for car-camping.
March 29, 2017
It does a good job self inflating to a point. Soft enough for camping. The attached pillow sometimes gets in the way. We tend to under inflate it, while using a small pillow as well. It is a nice feature though. Usually pillows do fall off due to the nature of the nylon construction of most camping stuff. Nice product.Don't over tighten the attached straps.
self inflating camp pad
February 7, 2017
I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable this mat is. It takes a while to 'self inflate', so I'd recommend rolling it out an hour or two before you need to use it. Once it has time to completely fill with air it's really nice. Rolling it up is a little bit of a pain though. Compressing it while rolling it up takes a little muscle, and you'll probably have to roll it up twice while kneeling on it to get all the air out. Also, once of the compression straps tore loose the first time I rolled it up while I was pulling on it to help squeeze out air...so I'm not sure I'd call them 'compression straps'. Still, this mat is worth getting I think. It's great to sleep on, and once rolled up is easy to haul around. If you're not in a hurry it's great.
Great mat for the price
January 2, 2017
This is a great camping mat for the price. As camping mats go, it's very nice, but I have slept on more comfortable mats. The self inflating feature works well, which is nice when you're tired and ready to set up and go to bed. The storage bag is a little bigger than you absolutely need, which is wonderful because it's usually hard to get some mats and sleeping bags back into their storage bags after taking them out...this one is easy.
worked great, very comortable
November 1, 2016
worked great, very comortable! wish it was a bit wider, as my sleeping bag hung over the sides and i also wish they would line the top with something so my sleeping bag wouldn't slide all over the place. the first time i used it was sleeping on a very slight incline and i woke up in the middle of the night at the bottom of the pad! i had slid right off of it while sleeping!

Inside lining is not a smooth material so when you go to roll over, you get somewhat stuck. Otherwise not bad.

June 3, 2017
Bought this sleeping bag for my girlfriend. She's not a warm sleeper, but this bag is supposed to be good for as low as 20 degrees F. It did not get below freezing and she was very cold. This bag is nice for the summer (maybe), but be forewarned that if you sleep cold, you will want a better sleeping bag. Now we just use it for an extra blanket around the house.
Impossible to roll back up.
May 25, 2017
Comfortable enough when it's cold, But I can't get it rolled up and the cord around it no matter how tightly I try to roll it, the cord won't reach. Very annoying.
Poor manufacturing on closure detail
April 26, 2017
Great sleeping bag with one really annoying flaw...the strings that you use to secure it when rolled are too short. It's like wrestling a bear to get them hooked together, my 6 year old son will never be able to do it & frankly, neither can his parents. Not to mention getting it back into its bag it's a nightmare. So basically I need to find something else to secure it, bought one years ago in different color for my older son & we don't have this same problem.
Lost my faith in coleman

Sleeping bag came with three inch section of seam unsewed. Bought it with a delusion of Coleman quality, sewed the seam myself with newly opened eyes and newfound disgust of cheap Chinese crap disguised as American made quality. Eff you coleman

It's OK but there are better options out there
August 22, 2017
Does the job, but it's not great for cold weather and I don't really like the way you have to roll it up to pack it back in the bag. I wish it was "stuff it in the bag" kind. The cord on my carrying pouch snapped after the 2nd time it was used, making it even more of a chore to pack this up.It's also not very small/compact when it's packed up in the carrying pouch so it takes up a lot of space.
Small!
July 24, 2017
I'm 5'11" male and it says it's for 5'11" and my shoulders where sticking out of this thing. And I could roll in this thing too tight. More for a child or a woman. We zipped two together and it helped with my wife but it put us on top of each other good for her bad for me.

Love the sleeping bag well made, a little problem with the zipper but not enough to cry about considering the price was at the sweet spot for a decent quality sleeping bad.

February 9, 2017
WARNING!!! THIS IS NOT THE SLEEPING BAG IN THE DESCRIPTION! This is the Coleman palmetto, the big and tall bag that fits up to 6ft 4in is a different bag. That being said, it fits up to 5ft 11in but I am 6ft 2in and it still fits comfortably and keeps you plenty warm so no need to return.
Not for me
September 6, 2016
These came to me damaged in shipping so I sent them back. However I probably would have sent them back anyway since I didn't really like the fabric on the inside and they weren't quite long enough. Also from how thin they felt I doubt they would have actually been comfortable down to their rated temperature.
Good bag but be careful washing it
March 3, 2014
I bought this to take for a weekend camp that was indoors. It is a nice bag, but I do agree with the others who mentioned that it is easily snagged on the inside. It is a nice weight and is a good bag; however, I have serious issues with packing it up again once you take it out of the bag. Three of us tried to roll the bag up tight enough to get it back into the bag and never could get it tight enough to use the cords to hold it together and trying to squeeze the sleeping bag into the carrying bag is next to impossible! It is just too, too small for this bag. A friend of mine told me she got one of these for her son and that once it was washed, it would be easier to get it into the carry bag, so I decided to wash mine. That was a mistake! I washed it alone on the delicate cycle and then put it in the dryer on the low heat setting. I had to dry it a couple of cycles, but when I took the bag out of the dryer, I noticed several places where the it was ripped or melted and the stuffing is coming out. It shouldn't do that when it is done on the delicate cycle and the low heat setting. I feel as though I wasted my money since after using it for only 2 nights, it is torn.

Good tent, but not for 3 season.

August 2, 2017

Came with rips
July 30, 2017
Ordered this as a tent to have on hand in case our family does some light (very light) camping. Upon taking the tent out for a dry run, and even before assembling it, we noticed rips in the tent, including at the bottom near where the poles end. We realize that if we put the tent up, the tension risks tearing the rip even more. At the same time, we have an overnight camp out scheduled soon and I don't know if amazon can take care of replacing it fast enough. Not a happy (light) camper.
Rain comes in, wind blows it away though east setup
July 28, 2017
I like it for the usual normal usage and ease and speed of setup. But neither is it full proof to wind or rain. So please beware. I just avoid these two elements if I can. It's easily avoided as it's my backyard. I won't take this to camp for sure.
Starter Tent - Not for Cold Weather
December 12, 2015
This is our first tent and the size is perfect for me, my husband and my german shepherd. I would also think it would be the correct size for 2 adults and a child. It has room for our full size blow-up mattress along with a dog bed and bags.It is easy to put up and seems durable for the most part. My only complaints are 1. The stakes that come with it are very cheap and break. You need the extra stake kit that comes with a rubber mallet. 2. The tops let air in on the sides so while it is waterproof, it lets in the cold air and can become very cold if it gets to the low 50's or colder. My dog got so cold she slept on top of me.

September 29, 2015
Survived 2 weeks of camping in Yellowstone just fine. It's not the biggest tent but plenty of room for 2 people. I know it says 4 and I do think that's possible but it would extremely crowded. Not a camping expert and it was easy to setup and take down. The negative would be that 2 pole sections came broken with the internal bungies severed but we improvised with duct tape and it worked just fine. Adaptable is key when camping so don't fret the small stuff.

The pad itself is relatively comfortable to sleep on
August 11, 2017
The pad itself is relatively comfortable to sleep on. The material, however, is rather fragile. I tore the edge of the mattress trying to cinch down the compression straps. Those straps, by the way, are one of the things that keep this from having a lower rating. They are quite handy and a good addition.

The pad is great, but the pillow portion does not hold air very long. It lasts for only about two days and has to be refilled by blowing with your mouth, or, if you have one, with a pump.
Comfortable, but does not roll up small for backpacking
May 7, 2017
Good for car camping and I did strap to my backpack but it takes up 5 times as much room as our tent, they do not roll small. Very comfortable as camp pads go, but one does have to blow up the pillow which takes a good deal of breath and I had to do both my girl and mine, a few extra large breathes are needes for the self inflating portion too.
Comfortable But Straps Cheaply Made
April 29, 2017
I found the pad easy to set up. It self-inflates rather quickly and I didn't need to add any additional air in order to make it comfortable. I found the thickness of the pad to be pretty good in comparison to others on the market and it felt comfortable to me. It also deflated pretty quickly as well. The issue I had with the product was that the straps, which are attached to the mat both broke off the first time I tried to roll it back up. Needless to say, without the straps, you can't really put it away nicely and you're left with either tying it up with something else or leaving it out flat. I ended up having to return the item. Perhaps I received a defective item. I would consider buying again if the straps were sturdier.
The mat inflates nicely by itself and with a few extra breaths
March 31, 2016
The mat inflates nicely by itself and with a few extra breaths, it can obtain a comfortable firmness. I have always found Coleman products to be reliable and good quality, however, this mat is the exception. Upon using it for the first time, one of the straps ripped away from the pad where they were factory attached. With only one attached strap, it makes rolling the mat back up difficult and clumsy. I would ask for a replacement, but I bought this mat well before our trip and it has exceeded the 30 day return window. Very disappointed in the quality of this particular sleep pad.

almost like some kind of gauzy disposable napkin
June 29, 2016
The fabric lining the inside of this sleeping bag feels really gross against your skin, it's really REALLY cheapo material, almost like some kind of gauzy disposable napkin. The picture makes the quality look much better. Also, you probably won't be able to get the pack back into its carrier with the bag's smaller zipper setting.

I bought two bags and I wish I had not. I would really, really like to return these sleeping bags and try buying something else, but Amazon would charge me $12 for return shipping, and that's just dumb.

Do not make the same mistake I made: avoid this sleeping bag!
there's no way to put this back in its pouch.
May 12, 2016
THIS BAG IS HUGE and quite heavy AND impossible to put back in its pouch. I wish I could give a better review of how the bag suited me when I went camping but unfortunately I didn't go anywhere with this sack because it is a monstrosity. The quality seems fine, so buy this sack to keep around the house for when company comes over or if you exclusively DRIVE up to your campsite and have space in the back. Otherwise, save your money and buy a proper sleeping bag with a stuff sack and a removable liner. What a waste of money and space.
I have been buying coleman since I was a cub scout.
February 15, 2016
I should have got a army one or a big & tall its not long enough and not very durable my 12 year old who I gave it to has half destroyed it and the zipper gets stuck if you don't do it slowly. Also it needs a proper bag like north face where you put it in bag then there are straps to compress it.
Not a 20 degree bag

This is not a 20 degree sleeping bag.
I would suggest this bag for women because, but not all.
short, and not so broad shoulders.
not for winter, more like a colder summer.
i don't consider this a cheap made bag. i like the quality.
like most items, don't force the zipper. if it grabs the material back off and re-zip.
For extreme cold weather
May 21, 2014
I brought this for my son's class trip. We had opened it to try it for size. It's big enough & comfortable.
When we try to fold it & put it back to the bag, we tried numerous times & still unsuccessful.
Then had my husband try, still unsuccessful. There is no way I can let him take it on the trip as it was bulky & impossible to fit back to bag. I had no choice but to order another thinner bag. This is now just sitting in my closet. I guess if we have a sleep over or something. Should of trust the reviews that it was hard to fold & put back to bag.

Tricot liner sticks to my hands and feet.
June 1, 2017

Not meant for Average/Heavy People- Impossible to put into storage bag again.
October 1, 2016
When i received it, it was nicely rolled, tightly in the sleeping bag bag it said it came in. It to quite a bit of effort to get it out of there as it was really tightly packed in there. When it came out finally, i was disappointed with how narrow this sleeping bag is. I am not a small woman, but i at least expected a decent sized sleeping bag. There is no way an average sized adult could slide into this comfortably. This is meant for those really skinny, and athletic types. I kept it because i needed the sleeping bag to sleep in the gym of the school for the sports team I was chaperoning. I use it opened all the way, as a blanket instead. If it weren't for the cots they gave the chaperones, my backside would have been cold through the night. Now this sleeping bag is warm, that i will give it. It does keep you plenty warm, and even too warm at points. The material on the outside is the usual plasticy material you see on sleeping bags. the inside is only slightly soft, with a plasticy feel as well. But you get what you pay for.Getting it back into the storage bag is nearly impossible. Once out it gets air inside of it, and doubles in size. If it weren't for the JROTC members at the school i was at, It would not have gotten back in there, and even then they broke open the zipper part of the storage bag just to get it in there.
Inside lining needs help!
January 3, 2016
Grandson Christmas Gift. The inside is awful! His PJ's stuck to the lining so he could not slide in.When I went to help my hands snagged the lining! I wish I had never bought this!
Do not buy to combine into two bags.
November 16, 2014
Many reviews mention the scratchy feel of the inside, this is somewhat present, but not a big deal in my opinion. Especially if you're actually camping in colder temperatures where you would be wearing clothing/socks/etc.My primary concern was that I purchased two bags to zip together and they do not zip together well at all. The zippers were EXTREMELY difficult to operate when combining the two bags and the proportions of the bags (at least as they applied to zipping the two bags together) were unbelievably off. Leaving a significant gap unzipped at the bottom-center of the bags, and one bag's zipper ending approximately 8 inches from the top of the second bag. They were so uneven that I got online to began the process of returning them within the hour. They seem like decent bags, but for my purposes I was shocked at the discrepancies in production between the two bags.

July 30, 2014
Save your money. This is a Coleman? They have slipped. The zipper is buckling all the way around and it's a cheap plastic zipper to boot. Unfortunately, my son is leaving for camp ASAP and we are stuck with it. I purchased it to replace a cheap Walmart one with a cheap zipper. If I had known the quality was going to be so poor, I would have just gotten another junk one from Walmart. I checked the label, You guessed it. Made in China. My young son says it's comfortable on the inside with soft fabric. So, that's a plus for as long as this lasts. What a waste of money. I hate thinking that someone worked for slave wages making this.

It was very easy to set up
September 4, 2016
I just bought this tent for a weekend beach camping trip. It was very easy to set up. Nice size four person tent.I was a bit disappointed with the quality though. There was a tear on the inside, near a window. When I took the tent down and repacked it the bag it came in ripped. For the price I would expect better.
You will get wet in this tent!
August 29, 2016
The good points about this tent is that it is quick and easy to set up. I really do not see how this can be called a 4 person tent. The only way 4 periople can fit in here is if you like to snuggle!! (and I am only 5ft 2) It is great as long as it does not rain. After putting this tent up and looking at the construction of the floor seems, I knew this tent would leak. You could see light through the stitching of the seams. We had rain every afternoon while camping in the blue ridge mountains and as sure enough the rain was pooling in all 4 corners. I had an air mattress so I just pile everything on the mattress to stay dry. However, a new tent should not leak like this. If you go camping more than once a year, this tent really is a waste of money. I recommend spending a little more money and get a better quality of tent unless you don't mind getting wet.
Lots of space.
May 15, 2016
Very roomie. Worked great till first storm came in. One of the poles broke. Wind wasn't that bad other tents stayed up fine. Mine was only one that had issues with the pole breaking. Ended up duct taping an extra stake to the broken pole to keep the tent up for the night and cut the camp trip early.

The bed itself works great. It's not an air mattress but it definitely self inflated, is super low maintenance to set up and is comfortable to sleep on for a few nights in a row. However, I am posting a 2 star review based on the storage strap. After my first time using this pad the storage strap ripped off while I was rolling the pad back up to be put away.

You'll have a shorter pad with useless pillow attached.
August 23, 2016
2 concerns:- Big concern. Don't repeat my error of thinking "if that pillow wouldn't work for me I won't use it". You can't. The pad without the pillow is just too short. The pillow is just their way to sell a shorter self-inflating pad (5 feet or so) as a regular sized pad (i.e. 6 feet). You can't sleep on that pillow. A roll made of any piece of clothing works better than this balloon.- Smaller issue. Low quality. I didn't expect super quality from a cheap product like this. My expectations were low. Though even these were too high. One of compressing straps fell off on the first usage. Not recommended. Just pay $15 more and have a better pad.

I guess I didn't freeze to death in 60 degree weather but other than that I hate this bag. It's crazy bulky even for car camping. The material on the inside of this bag is horrible and clings to everything; grass, twigs, hair, dry hands, beards, etc. The stuff sack is a joke. I ordered three and ripped all three stuff sacks trying to remove the huge tag. Not that it mattered given that I need a 3-ton press to get the bags back in there even under ideal conditions.

UPDATE: Product was an RMA / Returned item... sold to me as new -_-
September 26, 2017
UPDATE:The reason why this POS was returned was because the rod for the rainfly is WAY too long. And it's not like, "Oh that little extra is for the flex." Nah... gtfo with that. It's over a foot too long. That's why the person who bought it probably returned it... and then it was sold to me as a new item. Now... I am returning this POS and I want everyone to know that this has likely more to do with the vetting on returned items through amazon. The packaging department for the original item messed up big time too though. I want an RMA and a freaking return ASAP!I am disappointed because I paid for a new item. When I got this item, it was CLEARLY used. It was full of a dustpans worth of previous camping fod and dirt. Someone clearly used this, returned it, and then it was not vetted to ensure it was ready to be labeled new or used. I mean... the RMA process didnt even clean it out to make it look "new". If you're going to charge that price... clearly mark it as used. When I pay for a NEW product, I expect a NEW product. If you ordered a meal from a restaurant and you got something completely different wouldn't you be annoyed... even slightly?
Defective Pole
June 27, 2017
One of the poles was defective and I hadn't noticed until it was time to set it up at camp. In order to make due, I had to force the pole into the ground and not its allotted pin, which made for an awkward and slanted tent. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this in a pinch as you will have no time to return if you neglect to test it out prior to actually needing it. I'd say this tent only fit two people comfortably not four. Since I hadn't used it within 30 days, I'm unable to return through Amazon, but will try tracking down the manufacturer.
