Warehouse Deal - Just like new.
March 2, 2017
Bought this from Amazon Warehouse deals. Described as having a damaged box. That was the only thing wrong with this system. It is great for my small room in-home theater. Sounds excellent! Set up took a while, but that was expected with needing to place the speakers. Otherwise, plug and play. Very happy with purchase. Amazon Warehouse Deal saved me $40.
Happy, happy, happy.
February 3, 2017
I purchased this from Amazon Warehouse for $382 as a used - excellent item. It was listed as the box was damaged. The list price was $459 on Amazon so I was happy to get it much cheaper. Everything seemed perfectly wrapped and fine. I actually waited a bit to buy one from the warehouse as I didn't want to pay $459 plus tax. Moving on... the only thing I did not like about the unit's contents was that the speaker wire comes in one long strip. There is not really enough wire either. It took awhile to cut out wires for each speaker and strip the ends. I've purchased 3 or 4 home theaters in the past (Sony and Onkyo) and they had separate wires for speakers that were precut which made installing faster than the Yamaha. However, if this is my only complaint then I'm happy! So far, I've watched TV, Netflix, DVDs, and listened to music via it's Bluetooth feature and Spotify on my phone. The sound is great! Make sure to check out how to use bluetooth via the manual that comes in CDROM format with the unit. I thought you would just switch to Bluetooth but there is a button you have to hold down. I'm not an audio enthusiast but I do like bass when watching action movies, etc. and I feel that the subwoofer is perfect.
I love this home theater system

I love this home theater system. Previously I purchased a sound processor bar and this is much better than that.Bad: you need to buy seperate optical cable if your tv is ARC supported, else this system will not work.

Delivery was great. It arrived on expected date and the postal carrier knocked instead of leaving at the door step. All items that were listed on the box were included. The speakers are wired (not wireless or blue tooth) so you will possibly needs more wire to strategically place them. The sub woofer gives a nice kick for its size. So far no problems with connecting with the blue tooth or using the FM tuner. This is a solid piece for home entertainment.
I love this sound system
December 5, 2015
I love this sound system! I love how it has HDMI patch through and has 4 HDMI inputs. The speaker wire comes in one long (80' white) cord and was slightly annoying, but also convenient for getting just the right length. Make sure you have a pair of wire splitters or be stubborn like me and do it with scissors and your teeth at 1AM. I wish the cord was clear like most speaker wire and not white, but it wasn't too much a of a problem for me, since I ran mine under the floor to the rear speakers. I did not have enough speaker wire to do all the speakers and I do not have too large of a space, so if you are running the wire through the wall or under the floor, you will likely need additional wire. My only real complaint was that the HDMI output from the receiver to the TV did not work both ways for sound. This was a problem for me since I just upgraded to a smart TV and am interested in using the apps. I tried running a separate HDMI cord to from the TV to the HDMI input, but that did not work either. I ended up having to use a fibre optic cord from the TV to the HDMI on the receiver, which did end up working quite nicely. It is possible that there was a setting in the TV or receiver that I had missed, I didn't bother reading up on it. Regardless, seeing as it is a home theater in a box, it should have been plug and play. But, overall this sound system is amazing and easy to use. It is great sound for the price and it is quite nice to finally have a nice receiver, since most "home theaters in a box" come with very basic/proprietary receivers.
Nice System for the Price
September 25, 2015
I had an old 5.1 Boston Acoostics sound system that was being used for my computer. However, the system was beginning to have some problems, plus it's close to 15 years old. So it was high time to get a new system. So I went looking for a small system that would not break the bank, but was still 5.1 and had reasonable sound. In Doing research, the Yamaha YHT-4920UBL came to the top of the list. It has good reviews and was priced right. To put this in perspective, the Boston Acoostics system I mentioned earlier cost over $1000 at the time it was new.So I picked up this puppy at Best Buy and brought it home. So here's what you get.The receiver is the RX-v379 in black. The speakers are the NS-PZ40BL. The sub is the NS-SW40BL.When you open the box, you will find another box inside. That's your receiver. It comes with a remote, the calibration microphone, an AM antenna, and the antenna for FM. Under that box, you will find the speakers. The speakers are well packed inside a sturdy foam piece. Each speaker has it's own spot, as does the sub. You also get 50 feet of 18 gage speaker cable. If your room is of any decent size, you will likely want to get more cable. Fortunately, 50 feet is all I needed. So how did it go with setup? In a word, great.Setup could not be much simpler. Pull out the receiver and speakers, wire your speakers to the appropriate places, and turn on the system. Of course, if you want to mount your speakers, some extra work will be required. You can probably get away with mounting all the speakers directly to sheetrock because they are extremely light. However, I have a tendency to do overkill so I mounted my speakers to studs. When you turn on the system for the first time, I'd suggest calibrating the sound, as not doing so will result in sound that is less than ideal. There are a few things that need to be done, but the process could not be much simpler. First, anything that is not needed in the room, get it out of there. The calibration system depends on being able to capture the acoostic qualities of the room accurately. Anything that absorbs or reflects sound will have an effect on what you get after calibration is complete. Adjust the volume knob on the sub to about the half way point. Place the microphone at listening height, approximately your ear height. I used the back of a chair for this. Plug the microphone into the front of the receiver. Press enter on the remote, then leave the room. Leaving the room is important because the sound will bounce off of you which will mess up the calibration. The receiver will play some test tones, some of which can be loud. You will know when the receiver is done because you will not hear anything coming from your speakers. Confirm the calibration and settings by hitting enter on the remote. All done, calibration complete, so how does it sound? For the price, you can't get much better. Now before anyone says something to the effect of "Does this guy work for Yamaha?" Allow me to give you some background.I have a B&K Avr307 receiver in the living room. Like the Boston Acoostics system I mentioned earlier, it's starting to show its age. However, one thing that B&K is well known for is their excellent quality of sound. I'd suggest if you want proof of this to do some research on the internet. This receiver was over $2000 brand new. Needless to say, I take sound very seriously. This Yamaha system doesn't sound as good as the B&K system. However, for what I'm using it for, which is a 5.1 system for my desktop computer, it does just fine. It even beats out its Boston Acoostics predecessor. Keep in mind what I said about the price of the Boston Acoostics system. For this system to beat that out, which in some ways was not hard to do, is pretty good. So what's to like and what's to not like? What's good about this systemThe price is right if you are on a budget. I doubt very seriously you could buy a receiver, speakers, the sub, and the speaker wire separately for $399. Setup is straight forward, even for a blind guy. And the sound is good for the price. What's not to like? The answer to that question is not much, and certainly in my opinion, not enough to take a star off. I'm not a fan of shoe string wire, but then again, what do you expect for the price? My favorite speakers are by far Klipsch, but they have a price tag to go along with them. The system does not have pre-amp inputs or outputs except for the sub out. But again, we're talking about a budget system, not a beast like the Yamaha RX-A3050, or for that matter, the Yamaha RX-V679.Bottom line, this is a no frills, budget home theater in a box. It is designed for a small room or perhaps an apartment. If you are looking for a system that puts out 150 watts RMS then this is *not* for you. But for the setting I have this in, 80 watts RMS is more than enough to accomplish what I want. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them.

Good Stuff for All But The Most Skewed Audiophile...
October 14, 2017
Great speaker wire. There are those who must have cables suitably sized, say, able to supply enough current to start a Caterpillar 580-B, but for my needs, 16-gauge works just fine, thank you. Don't need that silly, gold-plated frivolousness, as I don't have 'golden-ears'. I never painted my CD's with a green Marks-a-Lot (yes, people actually did that), put bricks on my SAE amplifier (you know, to dampen physical resonance...REALLY?) or find the need to spend stratospheric levels of cash for some cartridge hand-wound by some Tibetan monk. But hey, that sort of money buys a lot of prayer-wheels...I've even used old 'zip-cord' as a stand in for the 'properly-labelled' stuff, but I like not to have to solder stray runs of speaker wire together to make a longer run. Besides, for the money, this value cannot be beat (beaten, for all you 'grammar-nazi's out there). I'm happy: they supply oodles of current from my modestly powered Onkyo receiver (old-school, stereo, even, complete with phono inputs) and my 30+year old speakers. I'll hazard a guess you'll be happy with this item. Fear not, and put your starting-cables away...
Great basic speaker wire!
August 14, 2017
Very good basic speaker wire. Why pay the high price for other wire when this will do everything you need it to do? The shielding is suitable and protects well against interference. The wire is labeled well which provides an easy method for identifying the positive and negative wires. Overall, I think this is a great buy any moderate-level sound system. Those who wish to have completely flawless sound applications may wish to purchase some heavier gauge wire with thicker insulation, but this works well for me!
Very nice, very well constructed speaker wire
May 12, 2017
While I'm sure there are audiophiles who'll quibble, I think this stuff is awesome. It's got enough (but not too much) insulation to make me feel comfortable pulling it through walls. I got this to run through the wall and outside to connect some speakers to the Sony 100w amp we use with our AppleTV so we can play music out on the porch. The wire's nice and thick, easy to work with, and the spool's not ridiculously large. Other than that, the price is right.
Great speaker wire for the price.
November 29, 2016
It's amazing what people are saying! This is your normal run of the mill speaker wire! It works great. You wouldn't use it for a super crazy high output amp, you would buy a thicker gauge. For your home stereo and about 99% of the other use cases, this wire is just fine. There is a previous review that shows the mathematics behind it.
Quality product!
August 18, 2016
Easy to use. There is a white stripe on one side that is clearly visible to verify polarity. The insulation is thick enough to stand up to people walking on it if it's under a carpet but easy to strip. Unlike some other wire I've used, I didn't have to squeeze the heck out of the pliers and end up cutting right through the wire when trying to strip off insulation. My speakers and amplifiers all have quick-connect fittings, and it is very easy to get the wire into the little hole in the clamp. This wire is about 4 times as thick as the wire my components came with, and it really sounds fantastic!! I would definitely recommend this gauge wire for audio.
Works Very Well for Home Use
August 8, 2016
I'm a home audio enthusiast, not a recording studio engineer. I re-wired outdoor speakers (wire running through conduit) and used this product with very good results. My longest run is about 25'. Yes, it is copper clad aluminum, but I hesitate to spend top dollar for the more pure copper product. I know that the sound travels on the outside surface of the conductors, and this is why speaker wire is stranded and not solid core. The Amazon Basics 16-ga speaker wire is copper cladding on aluminum, which suits my purpose very well. It has a white tracer in one conductor, speeding up connections and improving accuracy. The insulation is easily removed with wire strippers. It pulls through flexible conduit using a fishing tape without undue headache.

Input switches
April 17, 2017
I have not had the opportunity to watch a movie but the tuner and sound for the television is great. I have one issue and that is every since I have connected this up my television's input switches about every 30 minutes and I have to switch it back, which is really annoying. I had to disconnect it when just viewing television which kind of partly negates having it. The instructions were not really much help although I am sure it is user error. If anyone knows what the problem is I would greatly appreciate it.
it is a great system with great sound
April 16, 2017
I would give this a five star based on value and performance, but the shipping was a little sketchy. It delivered on time and to my front porch. But, it was in label packaging that said "Yamaha Sound System" for all the world to see sitting on my front porch while I was at work. Luckily no one walking by my house felt the need to take it from me. The other annoyance with this item, is that it is all black but came with white speaker wire. Not a big deal when running your wires under your base boards, but when your entire entertainment center is black, white wires stand out. Of course you can buy black speaker wire to fix this issue. so definitely not a deal breaker at all.Otherwise, it is a great system with great sound! I am very happy with it and definitely recommend it! Just make sure your home when it is delivered.
Amazing except....
November 11, 2016
This system comes with the worst subwoofer on the planet. It's unbelievable how bad it is. It distorts VERY VERY VERY hard at high levels and even distorts at lower levels. It no longer sounds like bass and instead all you hear is the subwoofer rattling. It's a real shame considering the rest of the package is damn near perfect. Setup is super easy. The package comes with 80feet of 16 gauge wire (you will need a pair of wire strippers) and YPAO calibration to set you up. The wire is white for somereason and does clash with the looks of the system. The receiver has all the features one could expect from a modern reciever and supports basically every audio format except dolby atmos. (Only 1 4k hdcp 2.2 passthrough however).Watching blue ray movies is a blast minus the subwoofer. Dialouge is clear, and the surround effect is fantastic. The satellite speakers and the center channel get extremely loud with very minimal distortion (none that i notice anyway unless you're literally at max...which is defening).I have a bose cinemate 1sr in another room as a comparison and the sound quality, again minus the subwoofer is VERY close considering the price difference (around $800). Since the 1sr is a soundbar, and ive never owned a 5.1 channel system before--the surround effect is what really impressed me.However, as stated multiple times above, unless you intend to replace the subwoofer i would NOT purchase this system as it genuinily and completely ruins the experience. I'll be keeping the rest of the system and replacing the subwoofer so it gets 4 stars for now.

One of my speakers doesn't work over all great sound system.
Capable and sleek, good bang for buck.
August 30, 2016
Terrific unit for the money. Everything works very well, clarity is on par or better than similar systems. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is the lack of a pass-thru option; system must be on if you want to watch TV and have the cable run through it. Otherwise very happy with it.
Very happy with this

It's awesome! My son is so happy. The sound quality is great on tv, games, music and guitars. The price is reasonable.

Needs polarity indication, but works OK
June 19, 2017
This cable works fine but I have one criticism - and so only four stars. There is no marking on the cable to show which wire is which and that makes it harder to determine speaker polarity. That is, you want the wire connected to red on the amplifier to connect to red on the speaker, and black [or white] to black [or white]. Electric wire like this has ribbing along one side (the neutral one) so you can make sure your lamp is wired up safely. But with this speaker wire you have to follow it all-the-way-along-the-length-of-the-cable.I guess that's why it's "AmazonBasics". Add some ribbing and this would be much easier to work with. But once installed it works fine.
Excellent choice if you don't need 100% copper
June 1, 2017
This is not real copper, but it does not claim to be. With that out of the way, this is actually pretty decent cable. It's very flexible and easy to work with. If you are fine with the limitations of copper-clad aluminum (because you're not running that long of a stretch, or you are over-sizing conductors to start with, or you just don't want to pay for 100% copper) then this is actually pretty nice to work with. The insulation is soft and flexible and the cord has a very easy to see black line for the negative conductor. If this were pure OFC copper, it would probably be one of my favorite brands.
Simple basic speaker wire, no hassle packaging
July 2, 2016
I purchased this cable to help wire up my surround sound system in my basement. The cable works great and was cheaper than alternatives on Amazon, or cables coming from my previous regular seller Monoprice. I would certainly purchase the cable again as it works great and was easy to run. I am not audiophile but I didnt appear to lose any sound quality with this affordable cable versus more expensive options out there. Finally the packaging is simple and easy to open. Its the simple things sometimes that take a product from good to great. Being able to get to the product without needing a blow torch is in my mind a big plus!
Good speaker wire at a very good price
May 30, 2016
Good speaker wire at a very good price. Sound quality and packaging is good. The price is super reasonable and I'd buy it again if I find myself needing speaker wire again. The reason I give it 4 Stars is because the markings to identify which wire is which is unusually VERY light. I was daisy chaining speakers together and needed to ensure that the correct wires were going to positive and negative. Both strands of wires are exactly the same but there is a faint white line down one of them. The white line is almost transparent and I need a flashlight to see it. Even with the light it was almost indiscernible. They should definitely look into marking one of the wires more prominently.
It works.
December 21, 2015
It's speaker wire. How can one write a glowing review on speaker wire? I will give it a try. This came will packaged and looked nice. The package designers did a superb job in designing the package. The wire is very smooth with a clearly marked negative wire. The insulation is nice and think and insulates very well. When solder is applied it takes it well and it appears the copper wire used in this is very high quality copper. The sound transmission is excellent unlike other copper wire that has noticeably reduced clarity in the high range. This wire is also much better than those spools of wire that are only 50 feet because this has 100 feet. That makes it twice as good as the 50 foot wire and 4 times better than the 25 foot spools.
If you need more than this, you are not even reading this.
November 16, 2015
This is exactly what it is supposed to be-- low cost, consumer grade speaker wire.We use this to connect our 15-year-old consumer-grade amplifier to our old consumer-grade speakers, to play music and movie sound-tracks streamed over the internet at whatever bit-rate our connection happens to support at the moment. The speakers are placed on whatever flat surface we can find, in whatever arrangement gives us some semblance of stereo and "surround", in a living room where "acoustics" take a back seat to "not having things fall on our heads."The impedance-matching to the speakers, the cable's power loss, the frequency response, are all 2nd-order optimizations where we are just looking for the first approximation. We just want durable cable that will not break easily if pulled or set-upon, that will not short the amplifier with ordinary use, and whose performance is no worse than the other aspects of our setup. We understand the difference between copper and copper-clad aluminum, and the impact of wire gague on signal fidelity. We have our own multi-meters, oscilliscopes and RMS power meters, and we just don't care.If you're an audiophile, odds are you are not even sniffing the Amazon Basics, much less reading this review. You are not researching whether this cable will let you hear the timpanist's heartbeat during the 2nd movement of Beethoven's 9th, even though audiophiles claim it can be done. You are too busy putting anti-reflective coating the edges of your CDs and putting your amplifiers on tiny little conical feet. You buy artisan crafted, hand-pulled pure copper cable extracted from sustainable mines by free-range miners, encased in fair-trade gold-foil RF shielding and wrapped with organic cotton-fiber sheath dyed in native traditional patterns. This cable is not excellent, but it is all the cable we need.

Speakers Suck
March 29, 2017
The receiver seems too powerful for the speakers. Surround sound, even at optimal level, causes the speakers to give popping sounds. But then again, this is Yamaha. Yamaha provides affordable packages. Like a guitar and an amp. But in this case, the speakers basically suck.

August 29, 2016
It's ok but it doesn't deserve 4.5 star average. The set is basically 5 tweeters with a 6" subwoofer. No amount of "engineering" can change the laws of physics, so the you get lots of high frequencies (really crisp), awful midrange reproduction and muddy base. I had higher expectations from a $400 set.

August 22, 2016
After tweaking the settings for a few days, the speakers are below par and not very clear. I have realized that the '5ch Stereo' setting and 'Pro Logic' setting get the most out of them. For the price, this is a fair deal, to be honest. I have the subwoofer on Max... It's underwhelmimg otherwise. Maxed out, it just barely exceeds my expectations. Sub tends to rumble during big explosions during movie, thus kind of ruining the excitement momentarily. I am purchasing a Klipsch subwoofer in replace for this one.
I'm extremely disappointed with these speakers
May 13, 2016
I'm extremely disappointed with these speakers. I know it's a home theater in a box, but the speakers themselves are pretty poor. The reciever is fine, and the subwoofer is ok, but the speakers are cheap and have no depth of sound to them.
Seemed like a good system for the money, but useless DRC forced a return
November 15, 2015
Seemed like a good home theater and system. The deal-breaker for me is that it claims to be able to control the dynamic range of the soundtrack for night-listening (keeping the loud sound effects low, and raising the quiet dialog), but it didn't. I researched as much as I could, and it seems that the dynamic range control on most systems only works with Dolby-encoded soundtracks. All blu-rays and more seem to be encoded with DTS, so the DRC didn't do anything.I am still on the lookout for a system that can enable DRC properly, because as an apartment-dweller it would be most useful. But for now I just got an inexpensive 2.1 system that has a remote and manual bass/treble control. Not perfect, but a better solution considering it's one-fifth the price.

Not happy with that
May 25, 2017
Amazon should of ran a dark black or red line (single) instead of white to determine the positive or negative wire tubing. The white line is very faint, so you don't see it well. Not happy with that. But, good basic wire over all. Note well - Not Oxygen free

None of the rolls marked both.Pros:Looks/feels/behaves just like my RCA branded speaker wireCons:As above, lacks consistent markings for +/-Overall:I'll buy again
Cheap enough, even if it is only CCA.
June 8, 2016
Just a heads-up, this is only CCA wire, not OFC. It's not bad, specially for the price. It's better than included cables and decent enough replacement for entry-level to mid-range audio systems or home theaters. Just be informed. If you can afford $50 for the cables, there are better solutions available.

June 3, 2016
Sound is decent. Stripping the insulation off the wire seems to take more effort than I remember with other brands. Tough to distinguish between the two wires, they just use a faint white line on one wire that can be tough to see, especially in the dark behind an entertainment center as you attempt to hook up the speakers.
Fine CCA Cable
March 18, 2014
This is basic CCA audio cable. It also appears to be the advertised gauge. Unless you have a high end audio system I see no need in splurging on OFC cabling. I usually tin the ends of the cabling anyway so the connection points aren't a great concern. It would be recommendable to use 14 gauge wire, but I've only got a mid-range Onkyo receiver and basic speakers. When I upgrade my speaker package the cost of good 14 gauge OFC cable will be included in that purchase.

Issue with Yamaha YHT-4920UBL 5.1-Channel Home Theater (yamaha rx v379 receiver)

Hey Guys - i bought Yamaha YHT-4920UBL 5.1-Channel Home Theater system that came with yamaha rx v379 receiver and 5 yamaha speakers and subw.I found that Music is phenomenal when I play through Pandora or itunes. Easy setup there. However, things quickly turned the other way as receiver is not giving video output to either tv or projector.Since receiver has only one HDMI output, I tried below 3 options, one option at a time, and nothing worked.Option 1:Samsung Blue ray player (BD-J5100)-> Yamha Receiver (HDMI 1)Receiver (HDMI OUT) -> Sony bravia kdl-37l4000 (HDMI 1)Option 2:Roku 2 -> Yamaha Receiver (HDMI 1)Yamaha Receiver (HDMI OUT) -> Sony bravia kdl-37l4000 (HDMI 1)Option 3:Roku 2 -> Yamaha Receiver (HDMI 1)Yamaha Receiver (HDMI OUT) -> Optoma HD142X 1080p 3D DLP Home Theater Projector(HDMI 1)I am excited as the music coming out of these speakers is so great and I really want to keep this unit. But, in absence of tv/projector output I fear I may have to return this unit. Please help, either this unit is bad or somewhere something I am missing.Thanks-APJPS: THis is my first home thearter system. I am a music lover but wouldn't call myself an audiophile yet

Came in too late so

Well.....the product should be good but it came in too late... so I had to buy another one from best buy to hook the new karaoke system and speakers I bought for a party I had.
Good wire, needs line.

Good wire, but it needs a line on one side to make install easier.
Good except for the missing wire.
April 13, 2017
Your basic speaker wire. All is well except for the 10 or so inches in the middle of the spool which was completely missing copper conductors on the black side. It's a good thing I didn't install it permanently. Mild frustration that didn't require me to tear the wall apart.

This is not pure copper and rather copper cladded aluminum. Copper wires can be had for a similar price.
Other than that it's very good quality. However

No markings on the sheathing makes me give this wire a low rating. It should have some kind of stripe or something so you can keep the polarity correct. You need additional equipment in order to use this wire correctly. Other than that it's very good quality. However, the shortcomings would prevent me from either recommending or re-purchasing this wire. If it had the obviously needed markings I would have given it 5 stars.

Had an issue with the casing on the wire in some areas, needing to re-run lines.

Thanks for reply me. I am still having a problem to set up with Samsung TV(: Samsung UN78JS9100 Curved 78-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2015 Model)and Yamaha amplifier( YHT-4920UBL 5.1 Channel Home Theater in a box System with Bluetooth)I have a Samsung Blue Ray player Home Theater System CD/DVD player. When I connect Samsun TV and Blue Ray DVD player with Yamaha receiver it shows the picture and but no sound at all sometimes it has a TV sound but no sound from amplifier. What shall I do? I reviewed the owner's manual and I set up all setting according to manual though no sound comes out from amplifier. Please let me know what to do from Dr. Chong
The packaging was very poor with the speakers loosely placed inside the large box

The packaging was very poor with the speakers loosely placed inside the large box. Some abrasion marks were clearly seen on 3 out of 5 speakers - they looked like worn products. There was no power in the receiver when it was turned on. Disappoint by Yamaha.
So far, not good.

I got it and installed it over the weekend. So far I am not happy and may return it. All 4 satellite speakers are drowned out by the center speaker, so it is impossible to hear surround sound. And the only sound I am getting from the satellite speakers is not the whole sound, only parts of what's coming from the center speaker. My two giant karaoke speakers I used to use sounded much better than this, as far as surround sound goes. The only sound I hear now is coming from directly in front of me, and I'm not hearing any surround sound.I tried moving the rear speakers almost right behind my chair, and still couldn't hear them. This is totally unacceptable, since they will be mounted on the wall about 6 feet from the chair on either side. I tried re-calibrating the speakers, and it didn't help. The extra bass feature seems to be worthless, too, as I had to turn the subwoofer all the way up to hear any bass, and by then it was muffled and distorted and made for bad listening.I haven't checked out the features yet, like blue tooth. For me, it's all about the sound. If you can't get past the sound, then what have you got? I mean, it doesn't sound terrible. It gets pretty loud. But almost all the sound is coming out of one speaker.I will try and see if customer service or tech support can help me. Maybe I did something wrong. I mean, it's not rocket science. All I want is surround sound. Is that too much to ask for? If it is, this thing is going back.

Paid for 100 feet of speaker wire, only got 70.

Had to do two pulls of wire, one of 35 feet and one of 45 feet. Thought the reel was a little light but the label said it was 100 feet. Ended up with one successful pull of 35 feet and another of about 35 feet leaving me having to run out to get more (expensive) wire from Best Buy. Never buying this again.

I thought it has an identifier for positive and negative! I guess i have to make means of what i paid for. I really don't understand why they manufacture speaker wires that is not convenient to install.
Not real copper wire.

Copper clad aluminum wire. It should say so in the description for those of us looking for pure copper wire.

I didn't think to read the reviews first, after all its just speaker wire... Amazon basics I usually trust, but this is CCA and its going in the garbage. Not going to cut it for the 50ft run I have.
