Five Star Reviews: | 67% Works great and just what my daughter wanted. May 1, 2017 Works just fine and is just what my daughter wanted. My wife is the pizzelle queen and she likes it, but not enough to give up using her Mom's old iron. But then she is 100 percent I-Talian, so Momma's iron will be used until it gives up the ghost. PS, it you put vanilla ice cream between 2 pizzelles, you gonna like it. Wonderful Machine! January 29, 2017 I couldn't believe how easy pizzelle's are to make! I wish I got this years ago! My Mom had one and this brought back such warm memories. It was nice seeing my own children and grandchildren enjoying them as I did when I was growing up.I love how compact and easy to store it is, also. #1 pizzelle maker December 4, 2016 There is no timer but the light switches from red to green when done and setting #3 is a perfect pizzelle color... Best iron ever!!! Great buy and at a great price on Amazon May 23, 2015 My husband makes all the pizzelles in our house. The cookies turn out exactly as we hope they will. We also buy the flavorings on Amazon so we can get whatever flavor we are in the mood for. He loves that it is so easy to just plug in and add batter and cook. The machine tells you when the pizzelles are done so you don't have to guess. Childhood Memories Reborn! December 22, 2014 Got this for my dad for Christmas. After my parents got divorced my mom took my great grandmother's antique pizzelle press with her. After years of not owning a pizzelle press I thought it was time to start tradition again by getting a new pizzelle press. It's not the antique press like my great grandmother had but it definitely does the job. It is certainly more convenient considering the antique press can get quite messy when you try to flip it. Very excited to buy this new pizzelle press! After all, they are one of my favorite cookies. It sure brings back good childhood memories. It makes me proud to keep the tradition going again. Buy yourself a Cuisinart pizzelle press today! Such a fun treat! July 25, 2013 Follow a super Simple recipe with basic ingredients, and have delectable crispy waffle cookies in a few minutes. They are soft when they first come off the iron, but crisp up as they cool. Roll them while soft into small cones and they make perfect size ice cream cones for kids. Roll them into small tubes and fill them with whipped cream for a light cannoli. Beautiful lace pattern makes this simple cookie look impressive. They store well in airtight containers, and make great gifts. | 71% There are no reviews yet | 59% There are no reviews yet | 66% There are no reviews yet | 72% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 16% yummm December 31, 2016 I have made 2 batches of these cookies. I like it very much, The recipe could have been written a bit better for organization. But I figured it out. Also it states that I would get over 30 cookies. I only get about 14 at a time. not for use overseas/outside the USA January 24, 2016 One of the questions customers had asked was if this thing was dual voltage/universal voltage, and the answer I read was yes. So I bought it based upon that piece of info. It's not. It's 120 V, so you will need a transformer to use it if you go international anywhere. That kind of sucks as I specifically bought this to avoid having to do that.Edit: I just went to check the product site and info and it clearly says it's 120 V, so maybe what I read has been deleted or I ordered the wrong item, but that's my bad, not their fault, so I've amended my review. Bad design. Second December 9, 2015 Just two things. The design of the lock is lacking. I'm not sure how anyone could think that repeated pressure put on a solid piece of plastic could possibly last. Bad design. Second, the cord is so ridiculously short I had to get an extension cord to plug it in. Most people I know make these cookies at the kitchen/dinning room table, not the counter. The cord needs to be at least twice as long. Other than those two problems, it worked well, browned evenly and was very easy to clean. This is a nice pizzelle press March 10, 2015 This is a nice pizzelle press. The non-stick plates work well, except when making pizzelles containing chocolate (not cocoa powder, but chopped chocolate). My only complaint is that the slide button that regulates temperature is pretty wiggly/loose making it difficult to know what the actual setting is. This did not prevent me from making lots and lots of delicious, gluten-free pizzelles at Christmas! Nice Pizzelle Maker! A Little Harder to Use, but Just Need to Practice! Nice Item,Happy with Purchase! October 8, 2013 Nice Machine that is a good product. I bought this for Christmas and let my niece and daughter use it for great cookies. A little more difficult then you would think, it is hard to get the perfect amount of batter in and get the finished pizelle off w/out it sticking. I love all specialty gadgets though and this was a fun one. It makes great pizelle s after a bit of practice and can be used to make cannolies which are delicious. Easy to operate! Overall, pleased with machine December 16, 2010 I am happy with this machine, it cooks evenly and quickly. The cookies slide right off and there was really not much to clean from the plates once i was done. It was just a quick wipe down with a damp paper towel. The only complaint I do have, and it is a minor complaint, is that I went through a whole batch of dough and never could get the exact spoon size needed to make a full cookie. Also, a lot of the cookies came out off center. I gave up using the spoon that came with the machine, because the cookies were coming out too small. I used a cookie scoop I already had, and it seemed to get better, but there were still quite a few off-center, too small cookies. This is no big deal when making them for family, but I want to make and give pizzelles as gifts at the holidays, so I need to figure out the magic combination to make them the right size and centered correctly.Overall, I would most certainly buy this machine again, or recommend it to others. | 14% There are no reviews yet | 21% There are no reviews yet | 19% There are no reviews yet | 15% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 6% I like it and easy to use October 26, 2015 I like it and easy to use. I wish it wasn't teflon because that is cancer causing. Didn't realize until i bought it so I'll keep for now but will look for a stainless steel for the future. Not as good design as other brands July 31, 2015 Not as good design as other brands. Handles are too short resulting increased possibility of burns when opening and closing. The hinge allows the top to squeeze the batter toward front. Other brands have a hinge that allows the top griddle to come straight down. Pizzelle July 22, 2015 Works very well. I wish the pizzelles were larger but what I got was all I could find. Almost impossible to make them come out perfectly but that means we can eat the part that we don't need. Glad I purchased it. Pizzelles are always a great hit with the kids. Great product March 23, 2015 It's a great little press. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Pizzelles are done in no time. I have used many different flavors: Orange extract and a little zest, the same with lemon, almond, vanilla, maple, and the next time I'll try a bit of Frangelico liqueur. A different press October 18, 2014 This Pizzel maker was not as good as my old one. It doesn't press them as thin as I would like them. It only makes small ones. However, everyone liked them! Maybe as I get used to it, I'll like it better. | 7% There are no reviews yet | 12% There are no reviews yet | 7% There are no reviews yet | 8% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 3% It does not make thin pizzelles and you can only ... August 7, 2017 It does not make thin pizzelles and you can only use there reciepe so not what I was looking for. I will continue to work wit it to see if I can achieve what I want alice Decent Pizzelle Maker with Minor Flaws January 7, 2017 The pizzelle maker is visually appealing and doesn't take up much space. It does have a few flaws including occasional errors with the indicator light and a tendency to overheat after extended use. It will certainly do for occasional holiday use but I wouldn't be good for weekly or daily use. not worth the money August 25, 2015 Does not make good pizzelles. Think groves are to shallow to cook the thick pizzell dough properly. after a year it started to heat unevenly, green light stayed on, so pizelles either undercooked and stuck to the top or burned August 4, 2015 Worked good for the first year..... Ignore Recommended Cook Instructions and It's Okay May 9, 2015 The plates are smaller than I thought, which is okay, but the heating button doesn't work as described. For a pizzelle it suggests it being in the middle, but that burns the pizzelles. I have to time and can't leave them in more than 30 seconds (following the included recipe), so I also cannot use the light because it does not light up correctly to not burn the pizzelles. It works well enough if you have a second timer and ignore the instructions to use the recommended settings. Not as it seems.... August 21, 2009 Please be careful when you order this. It is not as it seems. It makes SMALL pizzelle's not the two large that you would expect. It is VERY poorly made, and I do not expect this one to last. I purchased this to replace my old one that was my mothers. It was 25 years old and finnaly gave out, after millions of cookies were made. This one barely closes. If I did not need it for this week, I would have returned it. I should learn, you get what you pay for. | 5% There are no reviews yet | 4% There are no reviews yet | 8% There are no reviews yet | 2% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 8% Received no instructions or Recipes! December 16, 2016 I have not used as I did not receive any instructions, or recipes with the unit. Very poor quality product July 12, 2016 We used it three times only and it totaly broke down. Very poor quality product. Don't buy it. Just wasting your money. Not What I Expected August 9, 2013 I followed the instructions to a tee and the Pizzelle stuck to the press 50% of the time. So out of one recipe, half weren't usable. I sent it back to Amazon. Poor quality June 14, 2013 The first time I used oit it was great. The second time the handle had a major crack. It still works but I would expect it to last longer without a defect. | 3% There are no reviews yet | 4% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 3% There are no reviews yet |
