| Best gift ever hubby says!!September 29, 2017 The brake bleeder is such a useful tool. It gives a mechanical guy the ability to pump the breaks down without a partner to actually sit in the vehicle and actually pump the break with the pedal. It's really. This is a great help when there's no one available to help. The gauge seems accurate and the bleader has great suction. Just a cool gift for any garage. Great value, good device.October 19, 2015 I've used this to extract and bleed the brake fluid on multiple vehicles. Quite easy and doesn't require 2 people.The thing to keep in mind is that when you open the bleeder value you'll draw brake fluid as well as air so the fluid well never appear to run clear, it will have bubbles in it. But this is expected since air is able to seep in around the bleeder value once it's opened, nothing can be done about that.My procedure is to pump the vacuum building negative pressure, open the bleeder value whiling continuing to pump the vacuum. Draw a good amount of fluid and close the bleeder while pumping the vacuum. This method is quite reliable. | | | | |

A Good Tool for the PriceOctober 18, 2015 It perforned very well for bleeding the brakes calipers on my '97 Lincoln. One problem that I had with this tool was that the plastic bleeder connector was improperly molded and I had to use a small drill bit to open it up. I also found that the caliper bleeder valves were of such a size where I could forgo the usage of the plastic bleeder connectors and connect the hose directly to the caliper bleeder valve. All in all, this is a well made product, the molded carrying case is a nice extra, and the pump functions well. The Amazon price was significantly cheaper than a comparable product at my local auto shop. Yes, I would buy it again and recommend this tool to others. Works great and as I expectedOctober 8, 2015 Item arrived quickly and as described. I used the vacuum pump w/ gauge to test a vacuum advance unit on a distributor. Also used to test for a clear/open fitting for ported vacuum on a carburetor. Works great and as I expected. I am not a pro garage and expect to only use this tool 1-2 times per year, if that much. Haven't tried it yet for brake bleeding but I expect it to perform as advertised. The storage case is heavy duty, similar to what you might find with an electric drill. Two thumbs up!! | | | | |

| One person job - this system worksAugust 16, 2017 System worked OK and is a solution if doing a one person fluid bleed. Need to really pump to keep a good vacuum going. Challenge was once the bleeder was opened you couldn't make a perfect seal because the threads would leak. Used this system for one wheel then had the wife come press the pedal for the other side - cleaner and faster. Again, one person job - this system will work. don't pick this one for the case!May 23, 2017 the case in the picture is NOT the case you will get. i was comparing 4 different ads, all 4 the same pump but in different cases. i spent an extra 5 bucks ($29.99) on this one because of the case (it has individual holders for all the adapters). instead, it came with the same case (just a square that all the adapters are thrown in) as the cheaper ($24.99) one. the pump itself however is of decent quality and works pretty good for bleeding brakes by yourself. It works.... a little slow though ...April 3, 2017 It works....a little slow though. I had to pump it 15 times to build up pressure each time and did this 12 times to get a decent amount of brake fluid out. The plastic "rivet" in the handle fell apart during the first brake caliper bleed. I also kept having to reinsert it into the handle so the handle wouldn't fall apart. Other than that it did the job. Two StarsMay 19, 2017 doesn't work properly Low quality, don't recommend.April 24, 2017 I purchased in Oct 2015 so about 18 months ago. Have used 3 or 4 times. Pump will no longer go above 20-25 to create full vacuum. The rivet in the handle also fell out. I recommend spending a little more money on a better Vacuum pump. This feels like a harbor freight quality item and has performed like one for me. Did not work for meJanuary 8, 2017 Tried it on three cars and hasn't worked yet.
