I like them better than my Sorel Premiums in terms of ...
January 4, 2017
I have used these boots for about 3 weeks in Canada almost every day with temperatures ranging from 1C to -18C. I like them better than my Sorel Premiums in terms of warmth, traction in snow/ice, and value (they cost roughly half of what I paid for the Sorels). So far this is what I have done with them so far:-Walking 30 min to the store and back in -18C with thick socks - feet did not get cold (I want to try them in colder weather but this is as cold as it has been so far)-Standing for around 4 hours in New Years Eve concert in -7C weather with thick socks - toes did get cold since we were just standing. Had to do a bit of "dancing" to warm up.-Random walks on snow deep enough to cover the whole boot and puddles of water about 5" deep, the waterproofing has been excellent so far.-Lots of walking with regular socks when the temp is -10C or warmer - feet stay warmI always wear a size 12 on all my shoes and that is what I ordered. they fit great.
Perfect for my foot pain from severe frost bite
December 15, 2016
These boots are great. I have severe foot pain and my winter boots are very uncomfortable because the damp and cold make my feet swell and the skin comes off from any preasure because of being frozen. These are the most comfortable boot i have worn in several years. I havnt been in severe cold yet but they have stayed warm at 20. I orderd them a size large. Its a good thing. I wear 10.5 and i ordered 11. They were just right. 1p.5 would have been tight. They run narrow.
Piggies in the oven (boot)
November 15, 2016
I really thought that it would be a pain in the rear to put this boot on. Call me lazy, but when I saw the pic with 8M laces I was concerned. However, when I got the boots and put them on I was pleased to see that there is a hold latch in the middle of the laces that only takes a solid tug to secure to the foot. From there you just lace the top and they fit great. This boot is warm! I live in Michigan and it gets pretty cold (not Canada cold) and they do a great job keeping my piggies warm and toasty. In addition they are comfortable to wear for long hikes. I have had Land's End boots and they are not even close to the Kamik especially in comfort and warmth. This is a great boot and it is made for taking a beating. Fit exactly as expected too.
Excellent winter boots.
June 15, 2016
Excellent and better than some boots I've used that cost more. They proved their worth this past winter as I dug and snowblowed through some fairly heavy snowfalls that required multiple hours of work. I had not heard of this brand before encountering them in a review on a hiking site. They scored quite highly there. They provide good protection from water and slush and retained heat for my toes quite well. I have woolen winter socks that I've used in the past with other brands, including insulated rubber and straight leather boots but did not need them with these boots. Fit was good and the lacing system worked well to make things snug where they needed to be without biting.
Unbelievably Great Boots For A Ridiculously Low Price. Buy These Before The Price Increase.
April 23, 2016
This are heavy duty snow boots that are professional level. Strong lugs on the sole make provide non-slip performance and the uppers are durable but soft enough that they don't chafe. The inside is so well padded that it feels like pulling on a comfortable quilt that was handmade for your feet! It envelopes your feet and is incredibly warm. Laces are easy to snug up and the overall look is sturdy but stylish. I am incredibly happy with my boots.Sizing: I'm an 8 1/2 D and ordered a 9. It's a perfect fit with medium or thicker sock.
Excellent boots!
March 15, 2016
I have small feet. I can't find mens boots in a size 7 anywhere, but the winters in the North East are rough, and my Vans skate shoes just weren't cutting it. I'm normally opposed to buying boots, or any kind of shoe on the internet, but clearly I was running out of options. I saw the Kamik Men's Nationplus Snow Boot, and instantly was drawn to them. The style looks awesome. I bought them in dark brown and the picture is very true to the product I received. I've been wearing them for the past few months and the boot has held up perfectly in all types of weather, snow or rain. The rubber sole has stayed intact and hasn't torn or ripped even after long uses in the snow. The leather on the side is nice, and doesn't feel cheap at all, and the laces are great- sport quality. They wont untie easily, and they're pretty long so personally I wrap the laces around my boot for extra support. The inside feels awesome. They are a very, very warm boot. Great for cold weather. The only downside is that my feet start to sweat because they're so warm, but that's my personal issue probably. The boot is soft, cushioned, has great ankle support and it's easy to slip your foot in, but the boot fits snugly. I'm short- so occasionally I'll slip in some lifts and there's definitely enough room in there for them. I really love these boots, and still- no leaks on the inside. These are great! I wanna get another pair in black. They'd be great gifts for your next Winter holiday, or someones winter birthday.Excellent!

Would've gladly paid more
September 18, 2017
I purchased these boots really not expecting them to hold up that well. I am an EMT and needed a pair of waterproof boots that were also comfortable and able to stand up to 12-18 hour days up to 5 days a week. These have performed better than expected. They are comfortable and fit true to size. I can stand and walk in these boots all day long and go home with no pain in the ankle or arch anymore. I was a little skeptical given the price, they were just over $60. I would gladly buy another pair at a higher price and plan on doing so.
A Timberland Hiking Boot For All Seasons And Worth It...
July 16, 2017
Timberland hikers in black and 'definitely' waterproof as these are have always been my husband's favorites. I gave them to him for a gift. He wore them the entire snowy winter through ice, sleet, rain and everything without any leaks. He stayed dry and comfy. The fit was a tiny bit snug but did loosen ever so much and he wore thinner socks as these hold in the warmth too. During the other months, he still mainly prefers these boots with cargo shorts and jeans, just everything. He wears these constantly and they look now just as nice as the day he first put them on. It is no wonder these Timberland Waterproof Ankle Boots are his favorites and I love the way they look too. He won't wear anything else except if I beg him to try the brown nubuck pair, but it really is a lost cause! These look great with everything he wears.
Extremely Happy so far
September 5, 2016
I have only had these for a few days worn them around and have gone on two 5 to 10 mile hikes. So far a I am extremely happy. Traction on the dirt and rock hills is very good. The trade off for this is soft gripping soles that will wear down if used on the street a lot. I put spenco cross trainer insoles in them and they and are comfortable but seem taller in the heel than my merrel moab mids with the same insole. This doesn't seem to be a problem and I guess there is nothing wrong with being taller. They actually remind me of wearing combat boots or ropers. I got the black ones which polished look great with jeans instead of dress or tennis shoes. This is why I got them. It is a plus that they also appear to work so well on trails. Please note though that because they are black, they will get noticeably dusty on the trail. If hiking is you primary purpose, then you may want to go with a brown pair.
Excellent hiking boots
March 27, 2016
Excellent boots. I bought them to go to Death Valley and wore them from day one without any significant "breaking in" period. They're comfortable, sturdy, and provide great ankle support whether you're walking over sand, rocks, or pavement. I never slipped, not even when walking over inclined walls of polished rock. They also felt lightweight for their size.Since I tried these in the desert, there's not much I can say about their performance with water. I did cross a stream a few times and kept my feet dry, but that was about it.Overall, I couldn't be happier. Especially since I got them at a discounted price!
Great boots for work and play!
February 5, 2016
I ordered these boots to wear at an auto parts store where I work. I often have to go outside when there is standing water and snow that would instantly ruin my day by seeping through my shoes and soaking my socks. After reading some reviews about water getting into the boots, I can only conclude that they must be doing something wrong with their boots because these things keep my feet nice and dry. They fit like they were supposed to. I didn't have to order a different size than usual or anything. It did take about one day of wearing them to break them in. I will definitely be ordering another pair that isn't black for use in the woods around my home and for hiking on vacations!
Fits True to size
January 8, 2014
I recently purchased these boots and I must say they are very comfortable and seems well built. I ordered a 9.5 and they are true to size any smaller they would be too tight any bigger they would have too much space. Prime shipping came on time as expected and I would order again!

and coupled with breaking the boots in better and lacing them tighter they should be GREAT in ...
March 17, 2017
This is the man who actually wears the boots :-). They were a LITTLE bigger than I expected, but the function of sock thickness plays a factor here too. I have a couple other pairs of "boots" - one a true boot, my Timberlake, and one a heavy duty Merrell Trail Shoe. Both are 12 1/2 and I wore a thicker sock with the Kamik boot. The heel slips up a little, but only a little, and coupled with breaking the boots in better and lacing them tighter they should be GREAT in the long run
The only problem...
February 4, 2017
Great boot. The warmth is there and the soles are sturdy. As some other reviews mention though, the only complaint is that the backs are pretty flimsy. If i don't have thick socks or long johns tucked in they bite the upper ankle a bit. I did put silicone sealer on them which stiffened then up a little but I learned thick socks or long johns. I would buy again though as they are some of the warmer ones I've had.
Almost perfect
January 11, 2017
I would have given this boot 5 stars, but the upper eyelets are snaps and have a tendency to come unsnapped. Once this happens, they will not snap back closed making it a pain in the butt to tie the laces. I simply put a little epoxy in between the snap and clamped close with a vise grip to remedy. But one shouldn't have to do that. Aside from that, these boots are awesome! Fit great, grip very well on packed snow and ice keeps the feet very dry.
Boot works well and keeps my feet warm.
December 21, 2016
I like these boots. They keep my feet warm and are waterproof. I have been using them in 3' and 4' of snow in the mountains. They work well. Thanks to the person who wrote a third party review about this brand. I had researched other boots. Even went to stores to try on major name brands. These boots are generally more comfortable. I bought them without trying on a similar pair. They fit well. Not too tight or too lose. The boots were named "best overall boot for the money". I agree. Four star rating, because the workmanship for the top outer eyelet clasps are not thought out very well. They do not stay attached very well. Mine broke off the first time I tried to tighten up the boot. Luckily, there are eyelet holes, not just fancy clasps, for the laces to go through the leather of the boots. Otherwise the boots would be worthless without top eyelets. I use regular ski socks with the boots and tuck my pants over the outside inner layer of the boots. Then I pull the outer layer of the boot over the tucked pants. No moisture has penetrated this system as of yet.
No more extra socks
March 25, 2016
The only problem I have with these boots is that they don't come in half-sizes. Didn't think this would have been an issue, since I normally wear a couple of pairs of socks when out in the cold, but these boots are so warm, I don't have to wear extra socks. This was a mild winter here in Michigan, so I haven't put them through any severe weather tests. But they seem to be VERY warm, and quite comfortable.Being a bit too large for my 8 1/2 sized feet, I wished it was easier to tighten them down for long hikes. As it is, my feet have room to move within the boots, which wouldn't be good for lots of walking.
Not too bad
December 1, 2015
So far so good. I wear a 10.5 and went with an 11 and they fit snug which is good for keeping warm. I'm not a fan of 8 in boots generally because they cut into my calves but these are OK due to the extra padding. The laces are difficult to pull tight. All in all, I'd buy these again. By the way, I work outdoors all year and I'm on my feet for hours at a time.Update: they lasted all winter long! I wore these 5 days a week for 8 to 12 hours a day in the Pacific Northwest( rain, rain, rain, cold rain and colder rain). They held up. They still have life left. This is impressive to me because I blow through boots like crazy. Doesn't matter if they are $200 or not. I'll buy these again when they start leaking which they all inevitably will.

They are comfortable and fit well. I have used these as work shoes for over a year now. The soles have just started to come apart and are no longer water proof, but i work in a kitchen so it gets a lot of water thrown at it. I would have hoped for longer for the price, but expect about a year of use if you work full time in a kitchen.
comfortable to walk around in and wear all day these ...
August 5, 2017
I've bought 3 or 4 pairs of these as work boots. As something waterproof, comfortable to walk around in and wear all day these are pretty good. I wish they were a little more durable but they're priced appropriately. When my most recent pair wears out I'll likely buy another.
Comfortable but could use a little more padding
December 5, 2016
A little warm for Texas summers because they don't breathe well. I've noticed little break in time. Comfortable but could use a little more padding. I use these for work and that means 12 hours of use at a time. I would not want to be on my feet for that long in these boots. Since my job is a mix of standing, walking and sitting they do well. I've had these boots for less than a month so I can't comment on how well they hold up.
I bought them at a really good price as I needed new work boots
March 14, 2016
I have owned these boots now for about 3 months. I bought them at a really good price as I needed new work boots. I'm only giving them 4 stars though as it took almost 2 month to break them to the point I could wear them for an 8 plus hour period. Yes, they are light weight, they are very comfortable but I had to switch them out with other boots for almost 2 months. They have held up very well though and they have kept my feet dry during down pours or walking in the snow as I live in Maine. I'm very happy with these boots so far. I wear them as an every day work boot but I do work indoors but they do see some abuse from doing so.I would not purchase them again at full price though. I only paid 49 dollars for them, so I dealt with the long break in period. I would purchase another pair at the 49 dollar price plan though.
Wonderful boots, today. Weeks will tell.
November 30, 2015
These boots fit perfectly and are comfortable. Not disappointed at all in wearibility. I do have reservations concerning where the soles are bonded to the leather, particularly at the flex point at the ball of the foot. After wearing them the first day there was just a slight separation. This could easily be perfectly normal as the sole does wrap up the leather somewhat and may never separate any further. As of now, a week after wearing them every day, this separation is less than 1/16th of an inch. I'll reserve a negative judgment unless it worsens. As of today, I love them.
Pretty comfortable & light, not warm for winter use
December 30, 2013
I usually buy Magnum boots when they have their various sales on their site. I decided to check Amazon and saw these. I only had one other pair of Timberlands before, a pair of black nubuck 6" premium waterproof boots. I didn't find them too comfortable, and the 'collar' split and cracked after 6 months, by which time the soles were starting to wear down some.My feet are somewhere between a 12 wide and a 13 regular. Sometimes different styled boots from the same manufacturer in the same size fit differently for me. I got these on sale and decided to give them a shot for the winter going to and from work. For comfort I give them 4-5 stars. They are not loose or tight around the foot, fitting just about 'right'. The leather is not hard, the collar is a durable feeling mesh and the tongue is nicely padded. These are mid-boots that just cover my ankle and only have two eyelet hooks to tie them up on top past the normal four eyelets. The tongue keeps the laces from digging into the front of your foot, but I wish the boot was maybe another 1/2 to inch taller for one more eyelet for a bit more stability when tied. Also, for some reason with the provided thick laces, they come untied from time to time, even after I double tie them.I wore them in the recent 20 degree freezing weather we had in New Jersey with normal athletic socks and after a half hour of being outside my feet started to get a little cold. On another night with Wigwam work socks, they weren't as cold, but not roasty toasty either. In snow they're OK, but when it warmed up a bit and we had curbs with lots of water from melted snow. I stepped in a puddle of 2" water and felt some water at the toes of one of the boots. This was a month after I had them. I don't know where the water came in from, but it was felt on the bottom near my toes and not at the tongue. This only happened once, but I haven't walked in any water since then. Maybe it was a fluke, but it had me lose some confidence in the boots afterwards.Update January 17, 2014:I have top change my original title, "not very water 'proof' " to "not warm for winter use".They do seem to be waterproof. The thing is, that since the leather over the toes is so soft, it lets the temperature of icy water or wet snow go right through to your toes. The thick padding around the ankle and on the tongue keeps the upper part of your foot warm, (and keeps in perspiration), but does nothing for your toes or soles of your feet. After wearing from warm buildings to cold outdoors, the perspiration near my toes reacted with icy water or slushy snow to give the feeling that the boots let in cold water. So at least I know that any muck I walk into won't get to my feet, but they still get cold. I would probably buy these if I needed boots for warmer weather. Maybe the name "White Ledge" had me thinking they should be better for snow and cold weather. They are still comfortable, but the tread is wearing down in spots after two months of use.

Cheap, warm
March 15, 2017
Budget option. Probably warm but I returned them. Cheap glue and messy workmanship inside. Not confidence-inspiring.I wore the mm at my office desk for a few hours, and while warm, are definitely NOT a good option for serious hiking. Very little support, just like a floppy rain boot (but warm and padded).

December 15, 2016
I ordered my regular size and the boots fit fine. They seem snug because the foam-like insulation is compressible, but they fit the same with thick or thin socks. So far I have walked about ten miles in them and they are comfortable. My feet stayed warm while I was active, but got cold when I was just standing around (I got my feet frostbit more than once through the years and I am always cold). They would probably be too warm to wear indoors all day. Two of the eyelets popped out the second time that I wore them, typical communist Chinese quality. No other damage yet. These are good snow shoveling boots, but if I had to work outdoors all day in the cold, I would wear my Army surplus "Mickey Mouse" boots instead.
Not for hiking or working outdoors
April 9, 2016
These are decent boots but there are two things I noticed immediately. First, the sole and the whole boot flexes very easily and offers next to nothing for toe protection or ankle support. Second, although they fit my feet well, the eyelets are placed too close together. Even with thick socks, when I pull the laces as far as they will go, the eyelets touch and the boot is still loose around the ankle. While they are warm and appear durable, they are definitely not appropriate for hiking or for work beyond snow shoveling.

February 19, 2016
Very thin insoles on the inside but these boots look really nice. It sucks that the bottoms are so thin though because that is where the heat gets lost even though the calves and stuff are super insulated and nice. These will work for one season.
If you have normal width feet these are fine, however
January 12, 2016
If you have normal width feet these are fine, however, my feet are EE width and these DO NOT have nearly enough width for me. If you only need to wear them with one pair of light weight socks you might be ok. I tried going up in size I wear a 9.5 wide and tried a 10 (much too small), an 11 (better but still to narrow) and a 12 (much too long!) and could not get a good fit. I loved the look and feel of these boots. They are light weight but feel like they are well built. I would LOVE to have a wide version of these boots.

3rd world durability
September 19, 2017
You wouldn’t believe how thin they made the heels. After 6 months of normal use a thick foam material peeks out. The upper hook eyelets from time to time will cause you to trip...it tends to snag the lace of the other boot.If you crush the hooks and lace up one below the top you’ll avoid falling over.

I was able to run the laces through the holes and that hasn't been too bad but that is a quality issue (-1 star)
March 12, 2016
I put Sole Insoles in these and they work well with those. I had all 4 of the lace hooks rip out of one of the boots, I was able to run the laces through the holes and that hasn't been too bad but that is a quality issue (-1 star). The tread also wears quite fast. I purchased these and the tread only lasted a little over a year before it started to wear through (-1 star). I do wear these all day every day for work, I work a desk job. I do walk about a mile a day at lunch to try to stay in shape. If you are planning on putting a lot of miles on shoes I would suggest looking for something with a better sole.
These are out of the box comfortable like others have said
August 12, 2015
These are out of the box comfortable like others have said. However they are not made well. I had the same issue as at least one other person with the eyelet breaking off within the first 2 or 3 uses. The laces didn't fit tight enough and I did roll my ankle. I went to return them, but between shipping costs and the delay I had to keep them as I was going on a 4-day previously booked trek and couldn't wait and wasn't about to try and break in another pair. The gamble paid off and these were comfy after a rub down with mink oil. But I'm still going to have to pay a cobbler to repair my boots.
Timberland isn't what it used to be!
November 10, 2014
I took a chance and bought these boots based upon generally favorable ratings. While I haven't tested their waterproof claims, I am disappointed at the significant drop in overall quality and construction of these boots compared to my 15 year old Timberlands that are still waterproof and in serviceable condition. I'm replacing them because they no longer fit my aging and widening feet! LOL Where my hold boots had quadruple stitching for strength, there are now just two lines of stitching. Where my old boots had a more solid composition sole, these feel like rubbery tennis shoes...I wouldn't want again to walk/work around desert cactus. The leather is visually less than half the thickness of my old boots, and even the shoe strings are clearly less rugged and won't last as long. Finally, I ordered the EE width, and they aren't much wider than my old boots. If I could, I'd return these boots and try to find a better quality boot. I use these boots as a motorcycle boot primarily, but I also help friends with desert yard work/land scaping. I doubt if they'd provide anywhere near the protection and support my old Timberland boots have. It is very disappointing and sad to see what had been a trusted quality brand fall so significantly.

July 6, 2017
Cheap boots. Not worth more than 30 bucks. No side support, they leaked in the first month, and the boot uppers' scrunch up. They're good for clearing some snow or around the garage stuff but that's it. I won't buy again and wish I wouldn't have bought these.
Too small. Laces don't run smoothly
April 3, 2017
Too small....I'm a U.S. size 10, and that was too small. 11 might have been OK, The laces didn't cinch up smoothly, either. I would have needed a Skatebuys Metal Lace Pullers (Hooks) to tighten properly over my instep.
Flimsy thin soles, don't keep your feet warm!!!
January 16, 2017
The look and fit are okay, but they don't keep your feet very warm. The sole of the boots are super flimsy, it was the first thing I noticed. Then wearing them outside I could feel the cold coming up from the ground not to mention that since it's so thin you can feel every little bump. Not very good boots, I've gotten better for cheaper at Wal-Mart, too bad I didn't keep the box.
Seemed like decent boots but ultimately disappointed in durability
January 3, 2017
Received these as a Christmas gift and was subsequently hammered by two large snow storms over the holidays. They fit fine, were comfortable and kept my feet warm and dry just as advertised. However, went to put them on today for another shoveling/snow blowing task and noticed the top leather part by the lowest silver speed lacing loop had about an 1 1/2 inch tear along the seem. I live in ND and we get some harsh winters with cold/snow and boots get a workout. I need something that is more rugged and is going to last longer than a week and only 6 or 7 uses. Now I get to find out how well their warranty support is and get to deal with the hassle of returning and being without boots yet again and for who knows how long.
Way, way undersized.
December 15, 2016
I really wanted this boots to fit. At $35.00 for size 12, I considered the price a steal.I wear size 11 shoes and figured that buying one size bigger would give me plentyof wiggle room. When I tried them on, it felt as though my feet were in a vise. Mytoes were squeezed together and jammed to the front of the boots. I would stronglyadvice ordering two sizes larger than normal. If size 13 wasn't so expensive I wouldorder them this very second. Nice boots but the company needs to rethink the sizing.

January 1, 2017
At first glance and wear, my boyfriend loved these boots! They fit perfectly, were comfortable, were actually waterproof, he liked the style, etc. However, on the second wear, the entire top half of the shoe tore which is not at all the quality I was expecting for the price. I filed for a replacement and I'm hoping this was just a defect and the new pair is a lot more durable.

There IS a difference in sizing between colors...
August 26, 2016
My husband bought the same exact pair of boots (except in the brown color) in a store last year and loved them. They fit perfect and have held up reasonably well considering he is tough on shoes. Since he liked his last pair so well, he decided to get these boots online. He figured he shouldn't have to worry about trying them on because he already knew how they fit...WRONG. Apparently there is a difference in sizing between the two boot colors; either that, or he gt an odd pair. These boots were smaller and tighter, and a size 11 did not fit him, even though that is what he normally wears and had worn in the brown color of this boot. So, beware: the black boots run smaller than the brown--or at least they did in this instance. If you get the right size, then my husband tells me these boots are pretty comfortable and his feet don't sweat as much as other boots. He worked in a mine last year, and kicked mud and sand off of his feet every night on the doorjam before entering the mess hall, so after a few months the sole started to separate from the shoe on the side. So, there is a weak spot there, but to be fair I think the damage was primarily due to my husband kicking his feet, which probably isn't an expected behavior.By the way, what's up with the shipping, Amazon? This item was in stock and it took three weeks for it to ship, and another two weeks for it to get here....That's FIVE weeks! But when we shipped it back to you our refund was processed within two days...Apparently mail moves much faster one direction than the other....I sure wish you would go back to your old shipping. We pay for prime and getting our items takes FOREVER these days. Didn't used to be that way.
Left boot just won't break in.
January 19, 2015
I bought these boots 9 months ago because of the great reviews. I followed all directions I could find to break them in. (Mink oil spread on them, melted with hairdryer rubbed in and repeat.) I've wore them on an average of 3 times per week to hike with my dogs. The right boot broke in fine but I still can't hike with the left one without using some sort of protection for the back of my heel/ankle. I recently purchased an ankle brace usually used for bad ankles. This works nice to prevent the blister and is easier than using a band-aid every time. I'll update if things change.

Feet Feeling Frozen
March 17, 2017
My husband has worn these boots twice while fishing. They claim to keep your feet warm to minus 40. Both days the air Temps were in the upper 30s and both days his feet were not kept warm. He would have been just as warm wearing tennis shoes.
SCAMMERS! Doesn't fit!

Despite wearing two socks, one thick, these boots are too big and will not fit even when laced up to the smallest possible fitting. Unable. And now this company won't process my return! SCAMMERS!
You get what you pay for and these are junk ...

You get what you pay for and these are junk unless you live in the south don't bother. I tried leaving no stars but they won't allow that so I have to give it a star

Two Sizes too small

I ordered a size up to size 14. The shoes were still too short and too narrow. Size 15 nor offered. Returned for full credit.
I really wanted to like these based on internet reviews and youtube comparisons

I really wanted to like these based on internet reviews and youtube comparisons.... but they are waaay too flimsy. In fact, there is almost zero rigidity to the upper portion of the boot , providing no ankle support. Big let down. I ended up finding a good sale price on KEEN Durand Polar WP Boots which were perfect for the single digit Colorado winter.

Quality issues

After wearing this shoes for a less than a week there is a hole on the fabric in the inside where the foam is around the ankle.
Just dont do it.

I hate these damn boots. Private security work, boots are required and I tried to grab the most bang for my buck. These aren't it. They're easily the most uncomfortable pair of boots I've worn, and I've worn duct tape boots on a dare during patrol. They suck for standing or sitting, and that says something.
Made Shabbily now. Comes Apart. See Picture.

The shoe fits fairly well but isn't made for durability. The top two latches for the shoe lace are easy to move and after just 2 weeks of not very hard wearing one of them came out thus making it impossible and unseemly to fully lace either boot. Then another latch came off and now there is some tearing. The latch design of the top four buttons of each boot is a huge defect.
Do not hold up at all!

I have worn these boots 1 - 2 dozen times max and today noticed the entire outside sole has come unglued and falling off. I have not used these for hiking, or any industrial type of wear. Very light wear! I have had good luck with Timberland shoes and had one pair that I have owned for over 3 years and worn hundreds of times in all types of environment. Unfortunately these boots were not made with the same quality.
