Favorite grill accessory.
August 31, 2017
How does anyone grill without this?! Grilling saves a lot of kitchen clean up for me. With this we barely cook anything inside in the summer months! We can do all veggies in this... we typically do a medley of zucchini, squash, and red onion with a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper. We also do shishito peppers in this basket - it's great!I do put it in the dishwasher and I haven't had any issues. It has darkened with use, but it still works the same as when I got it.
Great for grilling all sorts of veggies and small potatoes
August 24, 2017
Weber quality product. Heavy gauge stainless steel. Great for grilling all sorts of veggies and small potatoes. High sides let you do a good size portion for 4 -6 people. Does stain up after a couple uses but that has no effect on performance, Do recommend!
So far - so good. No warping like other brands
July 2, 2017
I've used it about a dozen times - vegetables and shrimp. I wipe it with olive oil before I use it and run it through the dishwasher when Im done. So far - so good. No warping like other brands. Slight discoloration but that is to be expected with use. I keep it indoors - no rust issues.
Great product, but smaller than advertised
June 9, 2017
I agree with the other reviewers that the actual dimensions are off from the product description. I was also concerned that this would be too big for anything I would do. Turns out it's actually the perfect size for me.That being said, you do have to be careful prepping this and the food for grilling to keep cleanup easier. But if you do, cleanup has been pretty easy for me so far. It is far easier than cleaning those wire-mesh-like baskets as food always gets caught in between the wires. This Weber basket is much better to clean, but still allows enough grilling through the slots (maybe some people would want more flames?).
Perfects for the grill
December 12, 2016
This little basket has worked out well for grilling vegetables that may fall into the grill otherwise. It does get very messy and somewhat discolored after a while. We've had a few instances of veggies sticking to the basket so be sure to prepare the basket ahead of time! Cooking appears to be even and we haven't had any problems with some veggies come out over done and some under done.
... this as a gift since I have one and love it for grilling fresh veggies on the grill
September 22, 2015
I bought this as a gift since I have one and love it for grilling fresh veggies on the grill. Be sure to season it so they don't stick. It may look dirty with black spots but it works great. I had 2 others with shorter sides and did not like them because veggies came out when stirred.

Quality product, not some cheap pan like most other options
August 11, 2016
One sweet grill pan, not thin cheap metal, this is quality piece that will last. A much better design then mesh, smaller holes and smooth surface to move the food around while cooking. Big enough for cooking a good quantity while not being too large to use in modest sized grills, in fact when rotated you can fit two in larger grill, even if just barely with my grill's size.
Easy to use!
April 28, 2016
We have our first grill - a Weber charcoal kettle grill - and so not much grilling experience to compare this to anything. We'd just grilled fish once before using this, but my husband noted that it was quite easy to get the fish on and off this tray. He really likes it! It was also recommended by Cook's Illustrated, so it's got that going for it. I think that it'll be quite handy for grilling veggies and fish in the future. It looks quite sturdy.
Great for grilled veggies.
August 3, 2015
Wonderful. Grilled veggies on the BBQ. I love how it makes for a complete meal without having to use the oven/stove on BBQ days. The pan was a little charred after our first use, but it came out surprisingly clean with a little elbow grease. And the SO says that charred is called "patina." Now you know.
Essential Grilling Accessory
May 25, 2014
This Weber grill pan consists of a very durable piece of rolled steel with cross-hatch perforations on it. The perforations allow smoke and heat to enter the pan, but, prevent your food from falling through the grill grates. Once you use this item, you'll wonder why you ever endured the hassle of skewering your food for grilling. The pan roughly measures 18" long by 13" wide; there is plenty of surface area to place lots of food here. The pan also features raised edges, to prevent food from falling off. I've found that the pan works best for grilling vegetables such as onions, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, etc. It works very well for shrimp, too. I wouldn't recommend cooking fish on it because you could have some issues with the fish sticking to the pan surface; I would recommend using a grill basket for fish; there is less contact between the mesh of a grill basket and the fish. You can cook burgers on the grill pan, but, I don't do so, because the pan tends to prevent the fat and juices from dripping away, as they start to collect around the patties. I believe you are better off cooking burger patties directly on the grill, so that the fat is free to drip away. The steel is best cleaned with a steel wool pad, hot water and liquid dishsoap; you need a very rough steel wool to scrape the oil sheen off of the pan. Bear in mind that it is unavoidable for the steel pan to acquire a patina from the oil that you cook with, but, I view this as a normal effect of use, and, it has no impact on performance. Anyone who expects a piece of grilling steel to remain 100% oil-stain free from use simply isn't being realistic. This steel pan is made to be used, and, being well-made, it will provide you with years of grilling enjoyment.
Great for grilling salmon
March 23, 2014
I purchased this for use with my Weber grill. It is perfect for grilling salmon and I use a shallow stainless pan under this Grill Pan and take the salmon directly to the serving table. It cooks evenly and allows me to get the fish directly to the table still hot. It is easy to put in the dish washer for cleanup. Weber has paid a lot of attention to make this pan fit on almost everything perfectly.
Good product, glad I bought it.
July 7, 2010
Other have done an excellent job reviewing this product and after using this pan for a week, I concur that-1. This pan easily gets dirty but cleans up reasonably well with an SOS pad. Be sure to have a box on-hand, you will need them!2. Get accustomed to the pan having a dark used look. Once used it will never be shiny.3. I have used the pan on very, very high heat and it did not warp. Allow it to air cool after use. I would guess immersion in water if hot could warp the pan.4. The pan is much more expensive than other models. I saw a Ducane model at half the price but it had no reviews. I bought the Weber pan based on the name and good reviews.5. I did not go with a non-stick model out of concerns for the non-stick surface chipping and getting into food. For me, it is hard to believe that a non-stick surface could survive bbq'ing for long. The size of the slits in this pan do block a lot of heat, so cooking meat and fish takes a little longer than if directly on the grill. Fish fillets turned out beautiful and stayed intact. I used PAM for BBQ's and the sticking was not an issue.

Perfect Size!
August 23, 2017
I've used these for year because of the size. They are perfect for making brownies in that I give away. I'm always giving meals and deserts away and this is just a perfect size for so many things. My boyfriend dose use them also for BBQ with different woods and the trays are perfect for that wonderful smoking flavor as well.
no leaking
August 4, 2017
It is an aluminum pan to catch drippings manufactured to fit a Weber grill. It doesn't leak. There is not much to say about it other than it doesn't leak. The size is not available at our local grocery store baking aisle.
A must have for weber grills
October 23, 2016
You need to have these pans if you own a weber grill. With the enclosed cabinet on my new model 3000 you have to check the amount of gunk from grilling food or face the mess that an over-filled pan will cause. I keep them handy in the storage part of my new grill cabinet.
Glad to find these to have on hand
September 3, 2016
We purchased a Weber Spirit three burner grill this summer and like it very much. We have used it a lot and one of these foil pans came with it but I wanted a back up supply of them for when that one is finally too greasy to clean, which has not been the case yet. So I just have these as a back up.
the right price
January 12, 2016
So glad that I found these! My Weber grill is about 15+ years old. I've made due with grocery store aluminum pans that don't fit right. These are the best competitive prices I've found. Will keep and will reorder again. :-)
Perfect Fit.....for your Weber
December 22, 2015
What can you say about an aluminum pan.....it fits....price is reasonable... I am a BIG Weber Fan....You cannot go wrong buying Weber products...BTW, it is smart to change these pans more than once a season....I learned my lesson on that... They will not corrode through, but, they do get pretty dirty...and it will draw insects, smell, etc..

Stop using the tin foil and step up to this product. I can't imagine cooking veggies on the grill with anything else once I used this.
Large, holds good quantity
July 14, 2017
I mistakenly bought a larger one that I needed. It took up too much room on my grill. Yes, it holds a lot of food. I placed it on the grill mat but I don't think it cooked very fast that way.
perfect for cooking, not grilling veges
October 6, 2015
this product makes cooking vegetables on the grill quick and easy. i use this all the time and am very glad that i got it. i would give it 4,5 stars if i could. it is perfect for cooking onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc when you are already cooking meat / fish. the problem is that it "cooks" more than it "grills," since the veges are not the open flame. if you have the time/ patience to put veges on skewers or the grill they come out better with char marks. it doesn't bother me, but this product quickly loses its shiny luster and gets stained. all in all, i am very happy with the purchase.
Indispensable for Veggies
August 2, 2014
This is excellent,. there was no way I could ever have cooked veggies without this. Bear in mind there are 2 sizes. I bought the larger and the only draw back is it does not permit enough room for the meat no matter where I position it on my One Touch 22". My plan of attack now is to cook the veggies first and then the meat. Note, too, the holes are small in width to preclude most veggies from being able to squeeze through.
great basket for grilling small parts like galic and other things that will drop through the grate.
July 31, 2013
I bought this to grill some vegetable: garlic, tomato and such.I have a Q220 grill, the basket barely fits in there, but it does leave some space on the side to put something like a sausage or two. see my picture (edit: well, apparently Amazon has removed user upload image feature)When I first received it, I had to sand down all the edges, side and bottom, the punched the holes are just too sharp to be hand handling. Make sure you do the same as soon as you receive it. I am taking one star off because of this reason.
Great for Grilling
July 19, 2012
This basket worked very well! I was impressed how much easier it was to grill veggies in something like this rather than putting them directly on the grill itself. Not only can you spray the basket (definitely recommended) to prevent sticking, but you don't lose any veggies down the grates. I really like the size of the basket. It is large enough to allow me to fill it with all the veggies I need for dinner, but small enough that I could use the grill to cook something else as well. The one thing I will say to keep in mind is to perhaps put the basket in the grill as it's heating up because I feel like when I put the veggies in the basket in the kitchen and brought it out to the grill once it was hot, the veggies took longer than expected to cook. I think it was because the basket had to heat up. Putting veggies in the basket once it's already hot should avoid this long cook time.

Easy clean up
June 23, 2016
Works well for grilling fish and other smaller or more delicate items without worry of it falling through the grates. Easy clean up, slots for the heat to come through but at the same time, it also allows for juices to seep out and drip into the BBQ. Not necessarily a bad thing. Well made, and sturdy tray that doesn't bend when lifting off of the grill with the weight of things cooking on it.

February 24, 2015
Nice size when used on a Weber grill however any room left is minimal as the basket is almost too big. If you are going for one big batch of cabob type mixes all on the same pan then this item works well. The holes also seem to help to keep the air flowing around the food to cook more evenly however juices will drain off. Cleanup was pretty easy with the help of some Pam Grill spray and being that they are stainless steel putting them in the dishwasher after was a breeze. These do not have any black painted on material like other baskets do which seems to make the food stick even more, along with rusting.
Nice grill pan for the money and avid griller.
September 6, 2014
Nice grill pan for fish and veggies.Does very well with all types of fish, and also with sliced up veggies such as zucchini, eggplant, onion slices, etc.Check the measurements of your grill surface before you pruchase though as i have a relatively large grill and still have an issue closing the lid when using this. Also cleaning is a bit of a pain with a scrubbie as it likes to get caught in the slits and can tear up the brush. I've found letting it soak for a few hours and then just hitting it with a dish rag works best for the really cooked on stuff.
Great topper for grills
June 18, 2014
I used it for the first time tonight. I grilled fresh vegetables with herbs and olive oil on the left and marinated beef slices on the right. Both cooked well, I put on the veggies first since I like my beef med rare. I served off the pan and when it came to cleaning, the left side was nearly new and the right side was a bit charred. After removing most of the loose bits, I sprayed Dawn Power Dissolver on it, waited 15 mine and then cleaned it with a brillo pad. It came out very clean with just some darkening of the metal....perfectly fine. I am really happy with the purchase. Oh, and it fit my Weber Spirit grill just fine.
Generally good
April 27, 2013
I like the grill pan, with a few minor observations;First, there are cheaper ones, but their reviews suggest warping and other reliability issues. The Weber is pretty solid stainless, and seems like it should be a durable piece.Cleaning is not the easiest thing, but is still WAY better than some kind of wire grate. Still trying to figure the best way to minimize cleanup. (Right now soaking and scrubbing with a steel grill brush- that gets it maybe 90-95% clean)The next minor complaint is actually more with Amazon than Weber. The item shown in the pic has a 'lip' on 3 sides, with the 4th side being flat. What I actually got has a raised lip on all 4 sides. Would be nice if the pictures were more accurate. The final complaint is the size. I have a standard size Weber Genesis silver grill. The pan would be nicer if it covered either all the grill, or half. This covers maybe 2/3, and does not leave the best usable grill space with what's left. A little smaller or bigger would probably be more useful for me. Maybe at some point I will consider cutting it down so it covers half the grill. For now though, I am generally pleased, compared with the cheaper (and lesser quality) alternatives.
updated review, now that I used them.
March 31, 2013
The grill pans are in constant use around here, especially in the summer. They are getting a nice charred coating on them, but that doesn't matter, they work great! I cut up vegetables, toss them with olive oil and salt and pepper, maybe some chopped garlic, and put them in one layer on the grill pans over the highest flames with the lid closed. Turn the pieces with tongs for big pieces or a spatula for small. Whole corn on the cob, cleaned, oiled works great. I put a serving dish on the shelf and move the cooked vegetables to it as they are done. I usually leave the pans on the grill till they cool down then pop them in the dishwasher.I got two in order to roast a lot of cut up vegetables on my gas Weber. They are very sturdy and the handles are one piece with the base. I think they will be easier to lift off the grill with the big curved handles. In the meantime I tried roasting cubed eggplant with olive oil on a regular cookie sheet on the grill and they were fine. Will write again after trying the grill pans and see if there is a difference. Maybe I'll do a side by side comparison.

Great product
June 23, 2017
I gave it four stars because of the price That being said it is a great accessory for my new Weber grill Much better than the old soup can that you put under the grill to catch the grease I looked for this size in grocery and dollar stores to no avail Makes keeping the grill grease free easier to clean Just toss in the garbage when it's full Nothing could be easier.
Weber brand is better than other cheaper ones
June 7, 2017
They are what they are. Weber brand is better than other cheaper ones. Just wish they were a little less in price
Made for the BBQ
June 4, 2016
Not much to say about the product. It is just like the one that came with the BBQ. Suggest changing them before they fill up. I have found that the acids in the drippings from cooking will eat pinholes in the aluminum and you'l get a mess in the bottom of the BBQ.
Convenient, good quality, over priced
December 30, 2015
Honestly, they cost too much- but that's prob because they are better quality they need to be. Fairly heavy aluminum pans for catching oil and gunk from your grill. Could you do the same with any small tin or heavy foil? Absolutely! But convenience has a price, and this is it.
Recommend you double up
October 28, 2015
Good price. Close to big box stores and this one was delivered to my doorstep. I do find that I need to use two of these at a time because quite a few times they will eat through and cause a mess. I usually double them up just in case. If it doesn't eat through, just change out the top one.
You never know...

The size is deceiving. It is a lot smaller than the size it claims to be. The inside dimensions are only 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 so if you are looking for something large, this is not for you.
Concept is right on. Cooking mastery is still up to the owner.
August 12, 2016
The concept of cooking 'everything' on the grill is right for me, but I haven't yet mastered the art of not burning the vegetables on the grill. But admittedly I never had burnt broccoli or burnt cauliflower before. So, an all new taste experience awaits you. I'm sure it is just a matter of practice. This basket is rather large so there's no putting it on the upper deck of the grill while closing the lid on the grill at the same time. The basket takes up about half of the grill by itself. I don't have a monstrous grill so don't hold that against the basket. It does definitely keep the veggies from falling through. That is good. Some people complained that it lost its stainless steel color after using. It is true. Ours looks like exactly what it is now a basket that sits in a very hot environment. No problems with the quality on this item though. Sturdy, heavy duty, will last as long as you want it probably.
This Stainless Steel Isn't
June 27, 2016
After one use the basket looks like it's been used for years. It would have been nice if on the packaging or somewhere cleaning tips had been provided. What good is stainless steel that stains -- badly?
Shields too much
July 5, 2011
It's well made, heavy gauge stainless steel. Easy to clean. In use, I feel the slots are not large enough. I feel I don't get much BBQ flavor. Flipping veggies in it quickly with a big BBQ spatula is hard due to the sloped sides. Always seem to lose something off the edge.Good for some things, but I think the baskets made of steel window screen may have been a better option for me. Easy to flip them over, things stay inside. Just the cleaning is harder.

Like the idea
November 25, 2016
Imagine fitting this over half of your Weber Genesis E-310 grill, leaving the other side for regular grilling. Like the idea? Sorry, this tray is about half an inch too long, so you can't close the cover on the grill when you turn it that way. Otherwise it's not a bad tray. Maybe I'll trim off a bit with a Dremel or something.
SIZE INDICATED IS NOT CORRECT!!
September 4, 2015
I wanted a slightly larger pan than the ones I have, to fit my Weber 3 burner grill better. So based on the dimensions advertized here (18.5" X 13.5" X 1.5"), this would be the next size up. NOT. I already have this pan, for many, many years now. I love it!ACTUAL dimensions are: 17.3" x 11.8" x 1.5" full extents, 14" x 11' cooking area. So at least they got they thickness right! So I promptly returned it (the unused one) with the Amazon cost free policy. Therefore 3 stars.
Good pan, if it fits.
June 19, 2015
I bought one of these last year, it lasted me a grilling season and functioned well, mostly for veggies like squash and asparagus. I have a Weber Spirit 210 and it doesn't quite fit lengthwise with the lid closed... about a half an inch too long. I tried to find another pan for this season, but nothing else was out there... I'm hoping to bend this new one a little bit to fit under a closed lid.

Could work
February 27, 2015
Only used once, but took 45 minutes to clean. Wiped with olive oil before use, cooked marinated chicken breast, and asparagus. Cooked on high for a short time to sear chicken, and I think that did it. Unit was black and wife scrubbed like crazy to clean. Will try again and spray better, and not get so hot.
Use With Caution
September 10, 2011
I really wanted to like this grill pan. It is ideal for grilling vegetables, fish and thin cuts of meat.PROS:1. Good size 13.5" x 18.5" with raised edge.2. Sturdy stainless steel not prone to flex in heat. Made in Taiwan.3. Cross pattern grill slits allow draining of fat, oil and juices in to grill and leaves aesthetically pleasing grill marks.4. Lack of Teflon or other coating means this grill pan can handle high grill temps near 700F especially when there is a flare up. Otherwise you would be getting Teflon in your food and eating it.CONS:1. Needs a little bit of elbow grease to clean up which is fine, but this leads to item number 2 below.2. The edges are sharp! What was Weber thinking? I am fine with this, but my wife and kids who help in prep and clean up would be prone to getting cut especially when scrapping off food and putting it in the dishwasher. Weber could have easily solved this by rolling the edges of the pan.

June 23, 2015
Why Weber had to pick a non-standard size is beyond me. every grocery store stocks cheap aluminum pans, but not THIS size. I guess I'm frustrated with Weber and not the pans themselves. As for the pans, they work fine, they do the job, they are reasonably inexpensive.
They work
July 14, 2013
Of course they work, all they do is catch grease. They're expensive for what they are, but well made. The main reason they got 3 stars is they have blown out of the holder on the grill twice, dumping grease all over the drive. You would think that for the money they would fit well enough not to be easily blown out of the holder.

Will not give that BBQ taste like direct searing on grill
June 22, 2014
I bought this as soon as I read in my monthly Sunset magazine that this grill pan was a "must have" and that people will love vegetables grilled on this pan. Moreover, this pan would allow me to grill smaller vegetables that would otherwise slip between the bars of my grill. Sounded good. To my disappointment, the vegetables (given a thin coat of olive oil with salt/pepper) tasted just like they had been sautéd on a pan on an indoor stove. Without direct contact with the BBQ grill they did not get that searedflavor of a BBQ. They would have tasted better cooked indoors in a sauté pan and I could at least served them with a good sauce. Finally, as many reviewers have commented, the edges are sharp--an accident waiting to happen. I going to return mine, otherwise, it would just be taking up space.

Not for any summit grill
November 7, 2014
I should have measured before buying, but I trusted the description. These do not fit in a 4 burner summit grill.

For me the porcelain coated metal products are superior. Everything is gross and black with this and is hard work to scrub off.
looks great out of the box...but take a good look....after one use it looks like garbage
September 28, 2015
Well, this looked great, and got great reviews...and with a name like Weber, it had to be good...but I tell you, don't buy it. If you do, take a good look at it out of the box...all shiny and clean...because it will NEVER look like that again. It is impossible to clean...even with overnight soaking and brillo pads. Pass on this and look for something a little more user friendly. This is the pits.

Turned black pretty quick even with some good old fashioned scrubbing
very very disappointed!!
July 27, 2015
A clear example of false advertising...the actual measurements are 11 1/2 x 13 3/4 not 13 x 15...very very disappointed!!!
Delivered today. No time to try it. But the basket is used!!!
July 8, 2015
Well heck! Delivered today and looks sooooo used! Scratched and some black marks. It won't affect the cooking but hate to pay for new and get used!
Not Close To the Approximate Size
June 17, 2015
It wasn't even close to the size in the description, the description reads....."Measures approximately 13-1/2-inch by 15-inch by 2-1/8-inch" it actually measured 11 3/4 x 13 3/4.

Much smaller than advertised
September 12, 2017
Purchased to make pizzas in the grill. All measurements mislabeled...on website and on packaging. Overall measurements smaller than indicated and actual cooking area is even smaller. Returned item. Used a large baked goods cooling rack instead...had it in hand and it worked perfectly.
Turned Colors after First Use
September 3, 2017
Turned colors the first time I used it and was very hard to clean. Very disappointed with this Weber product, I expected a more durable product from Weber.
Frustrate to clean it up.
August 15, 2017
Not happy with this pan. I was so excited to try when 1st time the item has arrived. It seems strong, sturdy, good quality pan. But after I used 1st time to cooked salmon on the grill the pan started to be blackened. I used oven cleaner spray, steel wools but it didn't really help. Maybe some cleaning methods could help but I haven't tried it yet. It just frustrated me to thinkt that I may found a specific way to clean it up, but I have to do it over and over everytime after I use the pan on the grill?? If you don't want have a similar problem like me, don't buy it!
Junk!
June 16, 2017
Bad, very bad! Hard to clean! Used twice and that was it!
Product warped after (3) uses!
June 8, 2017
Used the product (3) times on my Weber Genesis II LP gas grill. Because of the heat, it has warped - significantly. It's warped to the point where I can no longer use the product. If one end is lying flat, the other end sticks up 2.5". I find it odd that Weber products seem to be incompatible with Weber grills. If you love to grill vegetables, look elsewhere for a grill pan. Not a smart purchase.

"Not to be used for salty or acidic foods." What else would you barbecue? Hole came in bottom and grease went into catch pan. Liner served no purpose.
Broke within 5 months!
December 21, 2016
Purchased in August this year and broke in December! If this is representative of the product, it sucks! If it's a defective product, it needs to be replaced. Worked well when it was working!
