Best keyboard I've ever had! Don't let the price fool you.
September 1, 2017
I'd been having keystroke delay issues with Windows 10/64 bit and nothing seemed to help as the problem persisted, so I decided to go back to a wired keyboard. I thought that I'd end up with some sub-standard and mildly annoying piece of technology.... Wrong! The keys are responsive and the touch is even. I especially like the spacing that separates every key on the entire board. I am no longer "thumb-fingering" text errors by inadvertently hitting extra keys. In fact, I've bought two more of these for my other production PCs and I wasn't even having any trouble with them! This keyboard is awesome... so don't let the low price fool you. I no longer need to worry about what I am typing in for passwords because what I type is what I get.

August 28, 2017
Great keyboard, one feature I was not expected to be using 24/7 was the file system 2 spots to the right of f12 , one of my games I play daily I have to launch from there, I also make montages on youtube so that button is helping for getting me to my recordings a lot faster. The keys feel good and I have used it for ranked matches on Rainbow Six Siege, has not failed me, only gripe I have with it are the keys are not as quiet as I had hoped but that is about it, at the time i bought it the price was around 13 USD I believe and it was well worthPSAmazon if you are reading this if you can make a wireless version of this that would be amazing for a home theater setup.
It's a keyboard
June 23, 2017
It's a keyboard! No frills! A hundred and one of your favourite keys! It's what you'd expect of a lightweight plastic keyboard. Seems durable and well-made, but if you want the feel of a mechanical IBM, this is not for you. This is for folks who are fine with the feel of a laptop keyboard with a *slight* bit more click. (They aren't as "mashy" as most of the laptops I've worked on. There's a little bit more of that good resistance to keep you from grazing the key and inadvertently making another stroke.) In the end, it's a keyboard.
Nice Keyboard.
April 25, 2017
Nice Keyboard. All the reviews have pretty much said it all about this keyboard.The thing I like about this keyboard is the simple key layout. It is straight forward. Hot keys I do not use, so not having a lot of hotkeys does not bother me. When I plugged this keyboard in, everything worked. Key touch was nice. I type pretty much type with a light tough and all keys responded to my touch. Good price with basic features that gets the job done. Can't ask for anything better then that.I would recommend
Great value if you're not looking to go mechanical
October 25, 2016
I want to preface this by saying the 5 star rating is in comparison to other similar keyboards. This isn't a mechanical keyboard and it doesn't claim to be, so I'm not comparing as such.I write for a living--some weeks I might pull 25,000 words depending on what's going on. After going through a number of cheap Logitech keyboards over the course of a couple years, I picked up a mechanical. Then, my mechanical was having some issues and I needed to replace it but it wasn't in the budget. I needed something cheap that would put up with regular use and figured I could toss in a bag if I was going somewhere and didn't want to use my laptop keyboard.I'm glad I picked this one. It sees far more use than I ever intended and it's held up like a champ. After a few months of regular use, the keys still have their lettering, they're all still responsive and more importantly, I've had zero problems with hand cramps or wrist pain.Unlike many basic budget keyboards, the key layout on this one is fairly untouched, while still making room for media controls. There's not a ton of hotkeys, but the ones there are actually useful.I enjoy the feel of the keys. They're not mushy like a membrane keyboard but aren't nearly as tactile as my favorite Cherry Blues. For the price, the typing experience is stellar.This isn't a quiet keyboard by any stretch, but it's also a far cry from the clackety-clack of a mechanical. I can still pick up keystrokes when recording with my headset mic, but it's a background noise and no intrusive on the audio side.One issue I could see if if you're not happy with the angle of the keyboard. It's not adjustable in any way, but fortunately for me, it's a great fit for my normal typing angle. The grippy sections have no trouble keeping the keyboard firmly planted on my glasstop desk either..Very happy with my purchase and will likely pick up a spare to have around just in case.
Perfection for Stupid Cheap
April 14, 2015
I used my old one so much the "location bumps" on the F and J keys wore off to smooth. I didn't want to replace it because It still worked perfectly, I just need those bumps to locate my hand when I am doing AutoCAD. Thankfully, I like this updated version even better.The keys, while not whisper quiet, are less clacky than my previous "basics" keyboard. They are smooth and don't bind at all.THIS ONE HAS VOLUME BUTTONS! These basic keyboards are so cheap in price that I never blamed them for not having volume buttons... but that always bothered me because it is such a useful tool when listening to music while I work.I also love the "Computer" button for quick access to the "My Computer" folder. It also has a Media Player button and a Calculator button. I would have bought this even if it didn't have these buttons, but I love the convenience they add.My ONLY complaint would be the lack of "pitch adjustment." My old one had tabs I could deploy (or not) to change the angle of the keyboard. This one does not, and that is surprising. I have decided to not take a star off for this, though, since the pitch seems to be at the idea angle anyway, so I'm fine with it. Also, that's one less moving part to keep the cost down. But if I were to change one thing, I'd add pitch adjustment tabs.I like the shiny finish and sleek look, which is also an improvement over the older version. This one looks less clunky and 80s-ish.For the price, I would never buy anything else unless you needed a plethora of extra "programmable" buttons for gaming or something. But if you need a stupidly affordable keyboard that has everything you need and nothing you don't... this is the keyboard you want.

Novice opinion - GREAT keyboard!
February 23, 2016
I will preface by saying I am a keyboard NOVICE! Before this purchase, I played around on a Yamaha my parents bought in the 80s. When that old keyboard began to sound undoubtedly like it was.. you know... from the 80s, I decided to upgrade. After much comparison shopping, I purchased this Yamaha 61-key and I'm SO happy with the decision! I bought the standalone keyboard, not the kit with stand/headphones.I don't know tonally how high-end keyboards sound, but I am very impressed with the clarity and sound produced by this product (both through the speakers and my Sennheiser headphones). The different rhythms/sounds/instruments are endlessly entertaining. If you are looking for a casual playing experience that makes you feel more experienced than you are, I absolutely recommend this product.FYI - The power supply is sold separately.
Love this- Great for Beginners
August 21, 2015
 Love this! I had a keyboard when I was younger but never learned to play, it is has been on my 'Bucketlist" to learn to play and i am now 27 years old and figured its 'time" to learn. I purchased this keyboard despite the confusing reviews. I noticed that the keyboard is very light weight compared to the keyboard I used to have. This is great for travel purposes its portable. It comes with a stand, set of headphones and the plug/charger. Now for the stand....the stand is tricky...if you do not put the stand together carefully you can easily put it together backwards which might be why some people have trouble with it. It took me about 30 mins to figure it out. Once i had it together I at first thought it was to small or the keyboard didn't fit but after adjusting it the keyboard does fit just fine, it is stable and not wobbly it just took some adjusting and readjusting to get it to sit just about right. If you want a really heavy stand, i suggest you just buy the single keyboard and buy your own heavy duty stand, this stand is portable so it is light weight - i would like to eventually upgrade the stand to heavier one because i wont be traveling with mine but at the end of the day it works just fine. I posted a video of what the keyboard sounds like.

This is the perfect keyboard for my 5-year old daughter
December 24, 2014
This is the perfect keyboard for my 5-year old daughter, who is taking piano lessons for the first time. We didn't want to invest in a piano until we learn whether this will be a significant interest for her, and this was the perfect solution for practice at home. The sound is great, the volume controls are fantastic and she enjoys practicing on it (and playing around with the multitude of different sounds it makes!). I love that she has fun using it! I am confident that she can continue to use this keyboard for years to come. We purchased a sturdy stand for it and the A/C adaptor.
Great Product for the money!
January 22, 2014
My daughter loves this piano. Simple to use and easy to move around her room. She is already learning basics with the onboard led display window showing her finger placement on cords.
Amazing!
October 31, 2013
I'm very happy with this keyboard! It'r arrived almost 5 days earlier than expected, which was great because I really wanted to play it! The instrument itself it's really good, I enjoy the sounds very much and also it's so light that it very easy to carry and take it where you want (and this was very important for me because I wanted something that I could take anywhere!). I highly recommend this item to anyone who wants to start learning to play the piano or someone who want to study music in general.

lack of spacing between F1...F12 buttons in frustrating
October 16, 2017
It's a good keyboard for the price, but all the F keys are in a single uninterrupted row, which makes it hard to find the right one to press. I press F5 all the time because I'm a web programmer, I press F11 all the time because that's the best way to toggle full screen mode in Netflix and Amazon Prime, I press F6 and F7 all the time in PhpStorm, and it's frustrating trying to press the right key when you have to actually read what is written on the key to know if you're pressing the right one. Lack of this spacing also interferes with easily finding the right number keys to press, since you can't use the spacing on the row above as a visual clue. Instead of giving us some useful spacing that I loved in my past keyboards, they added two buttons that should obviously have been done in combination with the function key like the other 4 controls that appear on F9 through F12. Bad design decision ruins an otherwise great keyboard; now it's merely good.
Almost perfect!
August 22, 2017
I was looking for a few cheap USB keyboards for our office and came across this one. When they arrived I was actually pleasantly surprised at the design - doesn't look as cheap as some others we have. I am also really fond of the keys. Have you ever tried to use someone else's work station and the keyboard just isn't yours which makes things difficult? This setup has nice keys which made it easy to transition. There's a decent amount of space between each and the keys themselves are rounded.The only downside and reason I can't give it five stars is that although it looks like it's raised because of the design, it has no kick stand in the back to tilt it better. It's slightly flat angled for my taste, but will work! Still a great buy for the price.
For the price it's great. It works well
July 2, 2017
For the price it's great. It works well, the buttons are responsive, and it's got media keys (some available by combinations with the function key). My only issue is the button placement is uncommon so you'll have to relearn some of your muscle memory. Specifically, the F keys feel a bit off to me and I keep hitting the wrong ones. It's not a big deal, but just something to keep in mind if you've built up a lot of muscle memory over the years and really don't want to relearn it. But the for price, you won't find a better deal.
Better for Windows, but a nice keyboard.
May 14, 2017
Actually it is a great back up key board. I am on a Mac, and it works, but it is better designed for Windows. The Windows (aka Apple-command) key & the Alt/Option key are reversed on the left side of the keyboard for a Mac user and there is no Command or Option key on the right side. Works great otherwise & looks good. Since I use the missing right side keys, I had to return it.
Zero frills but it works
December 21, 2016
It's quiet, looks professional, and all the keys still work a few weeks after purchase. It needed just a small amount of balancing via a folded up post-it note under the top left part. My major complaint about this keyboard is that it does not have the little "feet" that you can fold out to change the angle at which you type on the keys. It sits very flat on the desk and is incapable of changing the angle of the keys on its own. Other than that, its a good inexpensive keyboard to keep around as a spare.

October 28, 2016
If you like a low profile keyboard then this is well worth the money. The first time I used one it felt strange, but I much prefer this style over normal keyboards. I know the mechanical keyboards are all the rage but for everyday use and typing I feel these are much easier on your hands, once you get used to it.I have had this keyboard for more than a year and have had zero issues with it. It has the word basic in it's name but do not let that fool you. It is not basic in quality. The only thing it is lacking is programmable keys. That is the reason I gave it a 4 star.

Good for practicing, weird Middle C
October 11, 2015
Great piano for the money. My kids love playing with all the sounds and it's great for a kid starting piano lessons when you don't want to shell out a ton before you know if they're going to stick with it.My only complaint is that the way they shortened the keyboard puts Middle C off to the left, which throws off my daughter since she takes her lessons on a real piano. It would have been nice if they had kept Middle C in the middle and taken keys off both ends.
~~~~ Review: Yamaha YPT-240 61-Key Premium Keyboard Pack ~~~~
March 16, 2015
I love, love, love, love, love this keyboard! My younger sister had been begging for years now for a keyboard to show off her piano "prodigy" skills. After looking at some reviews, we decided to order this keyboard and waited to see the turnout. Again, I am always happy to discover that an ordered product arrives on time, just like this one did. Within an hour or two, I set up everything using the provided instructions. At first, it seemed a little daunting assembled and placed there with no one playing. However, I quickly sat down and began hacking away a few basic tunes. It didn't take long for everyone else to start messing with the keys. I am happy to say that my sister is now a piano student at an acclaimed piano program due to constant practice on this keyboard. I highly recommend it!
Couldn't Ask For A Better Keyboard!
September 30, 2014
Great keyboard for any beginner! My 11 year old loves it. It's not very heavy which makes for easy carrying. I love the fact that it is compatible with my Ipad as well. Just as a side note though, you do have to buy an extra plug in order for your Ipad to be plugged into the keyboard. I didn't know that originally. The package arrived when it said it would. No problems what so ever with shipping or with the keyboard! Definitely a good purchase! I think you'd have trouble finding anything else like this for the price this is offered at! Can't say enough about this product but they are all good things, no complaints at all!
Expectations met
May 7, 2014
I chose this keyboard because I have owned a Yamaha before and was quite pleased with its performance. For the price range, this is a very functional and user-friendly keyboard with great XG Lite and GM sounds. And it's hard to beat the Yamaha Grand Piano sound quality. I use it for playing parts and voicing. If you are a serious piano player, however, you may want to opt for a 76 to 88-key version as you would lose some of the bass end on this 61-key version. Overall, this is a fun and functional keyboard for beginner or pro.
Good combination of keyboard, power supply; stand and head phones
February 21, 2014
My Yamaha YPT-240 keyboard was a replacement for a similar, discontinued Yamaha EZ 30E. I have been using the keyboard for about a month now and I am pleased with my purchase. The X style stand is not a genuine Yamaha, but is an adequate replacement. If you raise the stand to its top position and twist/remove two end caps, the upper arms of the stand fit nicely into two concave slots on the bottom of the keyboard. In this position, the keyboard is 29 inches from the floor to the top of the white keys, which is good. There are three threaded holes on the bottom of the keyboard presumably for securing the Yamaha stand – one at the center of the keyboard and one in each of the two concave depressions. For additional stability for when I am channeling Jerry Lee Lewis, using a spare machine screw, I attached a small angle iron at the center hole on the keyboard, and then tightened down the keyboard to the stand with two plastic cable ties running from a hole in the attached angle iron to the cross bar of the stand.
wrong stand for Yamaha YPT-240 keyboard
January 9, 2014
The keyboard works well but the stand didn't fit the keyboard; it was the wrong stand, included in the Yamaha box with the keyboard. I noticed that other reviewers have reported the same problem. I contacted Yamaha who replied that 'Amazon made the decision to bundle the Yamaha YPT-240 keyboard with a different manufacturer's stand'. The stand included was a 'WorldTour Single-X Model # WOR SXKS'.I phoned Amazon and this is how the problem was resolved to my satisfaction:1. the correct stand for the Yamaha YPT-240 keyboard was identified as the 'Yamaha L3C keyboard Stand, available on Amazon for $29.95 ;2. I ordered the L3C keyboard stand and Amazon reimbursed me for this purchase ;3. I asked what I should do with the WorldTour stand and was told I need not return it ;-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Yamaha L3C keyboard stand fits the YPT-240 keyboard. However, it causes the keyboard to be too high, i.e. the height from the floor to the top of the white keys is nearly 30 inches. The standard height for a piano is 28.5 inches or less. A height of 30 inches (floor to top of white keys) is not acceptable, especially if the keyboard is intended for a young child beginning to learn. At this stage I am attempting to contact Yamaha to obtain a stand that is smaller than the L3C stand. Will update this comment when further news is available.
September 19, 2017
It's ok. Not as good as the keyboard that came with my Acer cheap-o PC. But for that price, I had to try it. It will serve as a back up keyboard I guess. Way too clicky for me. I guess some folks like it to click, but it's not for me. It's not even the clicking sound - it's the feel. You have to really make sure you slam your finger into every key. I can type faster on the Acer keyboard that's not as clicky and seems more responsive.
Not as quiet as some websites have promised
September 19, 2017
I bought this keyboard after seeing it mentioned on a few websites about the quietest keyboards. I hate having a loud clickety-clacking when I'm working (or silence when I'm not working), so I thought this would be an economical solution.However after receiving it, it is no quieter than the stock Dell keyboard that came with the computer. I thought the keys would be more of a soft material with a little bit of give. The keys are hard plastic however, and still make plenty of noise.It's a perfectly fine keyboard besides that. No frills, cheap, and pretty basic.
July 7, 2017
I got this keyboard a few months back and after using it for a while it is a fine keyboard but I couldn't imagine using it for extended periods of typing. Using it for browsing websites and limited typing is fine. I think I may have been spoiled by the Logitech Wave. Now that is a keyboard I could type for hours on. This keyboard feels small. Even though the length of the keyboard is the same as other keyboards the keys feel smaller. The good thing is the keys are spaced further apart so you don't feel cramped when typing.
Good keyboard but not quiet.
April 8, 2017
Soo... I was looking for a quiet keyboard. It didn't have to be silent. Just quiet.This keyboard is not silent or quiet...Will be returning.To be fair the keyboard looks good but I'm looking for a quiet keyboard.
Fine basic keyboard, but not for my full-time use.
February 5, 2016
I'm coming from an Apple keyboard and am looking for that feel in a PC keyboard: low-profile, chiclet. The body of the keyboard is pretty solid, not flimsy. The keys have the right shape and almost a hair too tall for chiclet. However, my biggest gripe is the action feels "mushy", no real click. This is fine for my backup - hook up to the RaspberryPi. But I wouldn't want to work on this regularly.The price is right. $10-$12 for a keyboard of any sort is pretty descent.Note: I purchased a Logitech k360 and it has the same mush key action. The k750, however, has the action I was looking for.
Poor quality control; OK keyboard for price
May 21, 2015
For the price paid, this keyboard is OK. If I paid more, it would earn 0 stars. Firstly, be prepared to possibly receive a messed up keyboard because the quality control is poor. Out of the box, the keyboard's D key was not 100% functional, all the other keys were fine. I could get it to respond to the D key if I pressed extremely hard. Since it was so cheap, and I did not want to concern myself with a return/refund. I simply popped the D key off, added a small piece of rubber to the inner chamber, and put the D key back on. Now it works.The keyboard doesn't "feel" great, compared to say the $70 Apple keyboard. So you get what you pay for and hence the 3 stars for poor quality control but a great deal otherwise if you need a second keyboard for something.
Great for basic needs.
June 8, 2017
This very light weight keyboard and good for transporting but buy or make a padded case not the one recommended.The piano keys do not feel full size and are not weighted but the 61 keys are perfect if one is not playing classical pieces.Do not expect the organ feature to sound clear as when playing octaves or even seconds and sevenths on a piano. They are muddy. But if you are simply playing chords with melody it's great.Lastly, get a good stand that has a music stand and has screws to attach keyboard for stability.
Stand not included
October 8, 2014
The keyboard is good, but the package of accessories is not. We got the package and the stand didn't not match the keyboard. Also the headphones didn't come with an adapter for the keyboard, so they won't work. I called and complained and was told I've have to package the entire thing up again and mail it back to Amazon to get it corrected. I reluctantly did this. I actually got my new package back in two days. The headphone had the adapter this time. However, the stand was still incorrect. I send amazon an email and never heard back.Again, the keyboard is good, but don't expect to get a stand that works.
Its a good keyboard.. but
April 8, 2014
This keyboard is not bad, but it did not come with a plug. It used 6 AA batteries and depending on the use, those can get used up pretty fast. I just wish it had told me somewhere that it would not be coming with a plug.
Great board, crappy "kit"
March 31, 2014
I really love the keyboard, but only the keyboard. The stand is not for this keyboard. It slides around easily when atop it. I also called Yamaha to ask why my keyboard won't turn on and the power adapter was flashing green. Turns out its not a standard Yamaha power adapter. Way to just throw a bunch of stuff together.
Keyboard is fine: wrong stand supplied
January 2, 2014
Bought this for the grandchildren for Christmas. Keyboard is good. Good sound quality, fairly clear instructions. I think we will have fun with it for a long time to come.But the wrong stand was supplied. I found it very difficult to work out to contact Amazon by e-mail and ended up on the phone. Their operator had some difficulty understanding English and could not grasp that whilst both keyboard and stand were fine, they were not compatible. He suggested that I call Yamaha. I told him that Ihad bought the item from Amazon and thought calling Yamaha was down to him. He eventually agreed. I waited on the phone for 15 minutes. Came back without apology to say they'd supplied the wrong stand and would send another - by then too late to arrive for Christmas.New stand has now arrived - without any additional cost - but the process was disappointing.
OK keyboard, not so good kit
December 25, 2013
Now after spending some time with the keyboard, I am running across what seems to be a bug. G4 won't play if G3 is also pressed. In other words, if playing octaves, they all work except on the G keys. It isn't the key, because it works so long as the G 1 octave below isn't pressed. I am unable to find a firmware update or anything that may help. Because of this I am editing my review and taking away 1 star. This pretty much makes the keyboard useless for any serious purposes.The reviews about the items that make this a kit (headphones, stand, etc) are spot on. The headphones are not very good, and if you really anticipate using headphones you are going to need to buy another higher quality set. My disappointment is that the stand does not fit this keyboard. The stand is like a big pair of scissors, and it has a mechanism to set the height and there is a pin to lock it in. As the stand is adjusted up/down, that also changes the distance between the upper arms. The keyboard has notches to sit securely in a stand, but the stand does not have the capability to adjust the upper arms to fit this keyboard. The end result is your keyboard is not secured and will flop around. Not good. I can modify this to work, but you shouldn't have to. A "kit" should have everything properly fitted.
This keyboard makes very annoying clicky clak sounds when you type. The cord is pretty short and it feels as cheap as it looks. Keys seem responsive enough, but its the loudest keyboard I've ever owned.
Great keyboard but died after only 11 months.
October 21, 2016
Great keyboard. I love that it is narrow so it doesn't take up a lot of desk space between monitor and edge of desk. Good shortcut keys - I especially love the shortcut to the calculator. Unfortunately, mine died after 11 months. I have keyboards in the closet that lasted 5 plus years. Bummer. Actually ordering again because the narrowness is really important to my setup but this is NOT a well built product.
Wibbly wobbly.
June 24, 2015
I bought this keyboard to hold me over until I find a decent keyboard that will last a long time. It is a bit worse than I expected because it doesn't sit level on the desk. It wobbles and I have to put a quarter under one of the rubber pads to keep it from moving. I knew it wouldn't permit more than a few simultaneous key-presses, but I at least expected it to sit flat on the desk.The good thing is all the keys work and they are low profile, which I find great for quick typing.
worst than most membrane keyboards
December 22, 2014
It's really not what it's cracked up to be. I get the idea of a cheap, "basic" keyboard you can use in a pinch or for a build for someone who just doesn't care - The cheap Logitech keyboards from Walmart for $15-$20 come to mind.This one, on the other hand, just has issues. Most important is the spacing on the keys - they're far too wide compared to a standard keyboard, and make typing a chore. If you're a gamer looking for a backup, give up the idea of using WASD correctly.Each key also seems off center - as in each individual one is not situated in the center, but skewed to one side or another. The feel is very soft with very little feedback, worst than most membrane keyboards.If you type less than 30 wpm and only use a computer casually, then it will be fine for you. If you are confident around a keyboard and type between 30-70 wpm, consider a higher end membrane (aka cheaper) keyboard. Between 70-120 you will really want something mechanical that doesn't have the play-dough feel, but even this poor excuse for a keyboard is worse than the Walmart bargain bin.
Not Just Inexpensive – Cheap
August 9, 2014
As soon as I receive a replacement, this thing is going back into the box and into the closet as a spare. Unfortunately, I'm very rough on keyboards, so doubtless I will need it again.For the price, I don't suppose one can ask very much. I've had keyboards that have been very expensive (Das Keyboard, and Matias), moderate (Apple and Logitech) and inexpensive (Macally and Kensington). This is the first I would describe as being cheap. It's made of a very light plastic that leaves the entire keyboard subject to flexing and warpage. This makes for a very noisy keyboard as it moves around on the table surface. While the keys themselves are a smudge resistant matte plastic, the surrounding mask is shiny and shows every mark and bit of dust. All in all, this is a very unpleasant experience.+
Wrong Stand for the Product
November 2, 2016
Per the other complaints, they sent the wrong stand with this product. The keyboard will slide off the stand if you look at it too hard. Best advice? Go to a retail store, work with a professional, buy something you really want and avoid the aggravation.
Felt very cheap. I returned it immediately, terrible functionality, crap LED panel, not impressive at all. Replaced it with a Yamaha PSRE443 61-Key Portable which is far superior in every way. Even as a beginner, the price difference isn't that big, and it's worth getting a better quality product than being stuck with this junk.
I purchased it at the end of 2013 and now the keyboard has stopped working. I changed the batteries and rechecked the power supply to no avail. Now I have to buy another one. If you get it make sure you get the warrantee with it.
Missing Charger and Wrong Stand
December 29, 2013
The stand that comes with this keyboard does not fit the keyboard. The keyboard has grooves on the bottom with should take the stand but you can't adjust the stand to fit into the grooves. It's either too wide or too narrow. Also, the A/C charger that is shown did not come either.
No Power Supply and Wrong Stand
December 26, 2013
The advertised power supply was not included and the stand is not correct for this keyboard. The keyboard has molded grooves for the stand to sit / bolt into however the stand scissors open in pre defined increments but none that allow the stand to line up to those grooves on the keyboard. So the keyboard just rests / teeters on the stand. The keyboard itself is light because it is just a plastic mold so breakage is a concern especially with the bad stand. The speaker is weak. Even at full volume it was hard to hear over other noise / talking in the room.
They keyboard functions fine. The keys are fairly quiet
They keyboard functions fine. The keys are fairly quiet, but I'm a relatively fast touch typist and the space bar is SO loud. Drives me crazy. Had it one day, had to replace it. So, for occasional use it's fine, but if you do a lot of typing, be warned that the noise might get to you.
Junk
Junk. The backspace key works SOMETIMES. At other times, hitting the backspace key ONCE erases the entire line of previous characters.
Returned it, cheap product.
Returned it. The keyboard was flimsy and didn't sit level on any surfaces. Cheap stuff.
Cable too short
March 3, 2017
Guess they make the cable ridiculously short so your forced to buy the AmazonBasics USB extension cable.
Cheap feeling and long keystroke.
August 16, 2016
First off I am particular about my input devices. Finding a full size layout chic-let style in a streamline form factor is hard. The keystrokes are too long for a chic-let. It weights nothing and is too flexible. I could deal with the cheap feel if the keystroke was less. I really like the layout as it is the size i was looking for.I have had good luck with the Amazon basic line. Bags, cases and batteries.
It produces the kind of clackityclackityclackity sound you'd expect to hear on the soundtrack of an '80s movie like "Wargames".
This keyboard is loud, uncomfortable, and not particularly low-profile.It produces the kind of clackityclackityclackity sound you'd expect to hear on the soundtrack of an '80s movie like "Wargames". The board's angle, and the keys' stiff action make it uncomfortable and awkward. If you're switching from a laptop-style keyboard, and need to do a lot of typing, (and/or, if you type reasonably fast), be prepared for discomfort in your forearms and elbows.
No AC adaptor included!
December 31, 2015
I don't know how the keyboard plays as it didn't come with an AC adaptor. The instructions say that the adaptor is included and should be in the box, but there is nothing. Now I have a keyboard my daughter is dying to play and no way to play it. Santa messed up on this delivery!
We have had this keyboard less than one year and it has stopped working. It has power but no sound comes out. Also, the stand does not fit (same problem as other posters), wish, I'd read all of the reviews :(
Only takes AA batteries and powers down if I turn the volume up. I guess, what do you expect for $100? But it should still work.
The package was not COMPLETE!!!
October 19, 2014
At first I was excited about the great deal but in the end I received something poorly packed. The headphones were broken and 2 pieces of the stands were missing. Now I have a keyboard with no stand to carry it! I am really disappointed!
