I'm using this keyboard right now. I have to say that the low travel typing action is great, although not quite as good as my favorite keyboards from say Lenovo T series laptops. You can choose the color of the LED lights to suit your mood, which is a feature not offered by some other lit keyboards. The lighting itself is not too bright - you can barely see it in a well lit room. However, with the lights off, the effect is quite pleasing. Finally, the keyboard has a normal design, unlike other game styled keyboards that I would frankly, be embarrassed to have on my desk.Overall, I am happy with this for the price I paid, and even bought one for my wife after she got jealous and forced me to buy her one.
Works great!

I love the larger fonts and colors and I hope it lasts. I try to turn it off but always forget...Great idea.Lit keyboard , large font. If you type quickly on a standard keyboard this might be a problem because the spacing is different but for my two finger method..I'm good.Don't know how long the light will last ..This model is better than the first one that was cheaper. Had to return it as some keys were bad . Customer service is great and they were very nice , sent a new model.
Lighting is perfect for my needs.
March 11, 2017
Have had this only for about a week, but wanted to share that some of the reviews initially troubled me...saying that the lights were so dim as to be barely noticeable. For me, the lighting amount is perfect. Seriously, I would not want it any brighter, not sure why anyone would. My home computer is in an area of the room that is poorly lit and I was constantly struggling to see the keys. I am a good typer, but trying to find keys that you don't use all the time was a chore, so went on the search for an affordable backlit keyboard. This fits the bill perfectly. Cannot speak to overall longevity, but I like the feel of the keys too...good tactile response. Really, could not ask for a better overall value.
A Fantastic and Inexpensive Keyboard
June 26, 2015
I've been using a cheap keyboard that came with my computer for quite some time, so I figured that I was due for an upgrade. I wasn't looking for a high end keyboard, but I did want it to be backlit since I'm predominantly a semi-casual gamer. When I came across this particular keyboard, it seemed to match my criteria. It was fairly inexpensive and had multiple backlight settings.I would like to say that this keyboard is leagues better than what I was used to. The construction is plastic, but it doesn't feel too cheap. The keys are nicely spaced and the feel of pressing the keys is quite pleasant. It's also extremely quiet, so that is definitely an added bonus for me. Installation was as easy as plugging in the USB into the computer. But the main reason I got this keyboard was the backlight functionality, which I feel this keyboard excels at for the price. There's many colors to choose from including the "prism" setting and it's bright enough to look distinguished in a dark room and not too bright to disturb your peripheral vision. However, there is not an option to adjust the brightness and this may deter some, but I feel like the default brightness is perfect. Changing colors is also as easy as pressing the dedicated color setting key.Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and I would recommend this keyboard to those who want an inexpensive, backlit keyboard with very quiet keypresses. If you're a hardcore gamer looking for a mechanical keyboard, then this is most likely not for you.Pros:Easy to installExceedingly quiet keysMultiple backlight colorsGood key "feel" and spacingCons:Unable to adjust brightness for the backlightSome colors are dimmer/brighter than others (though this may be a good thing depending on the person)
Looks great, does it's job
April 1, 2015
So far this keyboard is great. It was purchased as an upgrade from a wireless Anker that was horribly unresponsive. It's used with my desktop, which is hooked up to the living room TV. (I had to buy a USB extension to reach from the computer to couch. I suggest AmazonBasics.) It's not as loud as others I've owned, which isn't a big deal for me, but other people, who like more of a response to confirm key hits, might not like it as much. The light colors are great, and I refuse to not have a back-lit keyboard (whether for desktop or laptop) so this fits that bill wonderfully. I prefer more of a chicklet style keyboard, so this one is nice. It's also a great price. I was going back and forth between this and a few others, and landed on this one for aesthetics. Once I use it for some gaming (primarily GW2) I will update the post. The only improvements I can think of would be to add volume buttons of some sort, but that's not a deal breaker for me.
Highly Recommended: Azio Prism Keyboard
November 24, 2014
First, I should say that I'm not a programmer or computer professional, so my thoughts on the Azio prism keyboard are those of a lay person.I've been using a laptop since 2004, and I've basically used it with a lap tray, sitting on my couch, for 10 years. In 2010, I had to have surgery for a bulging cervical disc, that was likely caused by the positioning of my neck, and the way I was sitting while using the laptop. I changed my laptop setup by getting a computer cart, which helped; however, earlier this year my neck started hurting again. It was time for a bona fide, grown up computer desk!I got a nice computer desk and got it all set up. The laptop went onto a riser, so my head and neck would be in the correct position to read and type; subsequently, I needed a keyboard to attach to the laptop so I could type properly (see photos -- you'll get what I mean).I chose the Azio prism for several reasons. First, I absolutely had to have a back lit keyboard, which the Azio is. Second, the Azio is reasonably priced, especially compared to brands like Microsoft. Third, I had never seen a keyboard with rainbow-colored lighting and I thought it was quite pretty. Fourth, the Azio had decent ratings. Shipping was great -- I received the keyboard within two or three days of ordering. When I plugged the keyboard into the laptop it lit up immediately and worked perfectly - truly plug and play. I really like the way the keys feel under my fingers. The keyboard has just the right amount of tension in the keys and I make very few typos (as I might if the keys were too loose or too tight). I do have to move the keyboard about four inches to the right because I don't need the number keyboarding section. If I were to change anything it would be to have the little raised ridges on the F and the J keys -- they're not always obvious enough and I misplace my fingers on the keyboard. The rainbow-colored lights are awesome and very pretty. They do tend to glow not as bright in the daytime than at night and that's something I wish were different. At times the keyboard doesn't look back lit at all, especially at the height of day; this is something that, while I wish it were different, doesn't bother me or change the effectiveness of the keyboard. You can change the color of the keyboard from rainbow to a single color of your choice, such as red or orange and all the colors look very attractive.I recommend the Azio Prism keyboard and hope your experience is as good as mine has been!UPDATE 5/26/15 -- I'm here to attest to the fact that this keyboard cannot survive an accidental 20 ounce coffee spill. However, I absolutely love this keyboard, and I just finished ordering a replacement. I still heartily recommend the Azio keyboard. Just watch where you put your coffee :)

I've would recommend this keyboard if you are starting out
January 27, 2016
I've use this keyboard for recording on Mixcraft 6 Home Studio. I've would recommend this keyboard if you are starting out. But I've Recommend you should get a key sensitive Keys. The headset are OK I've use them. I would like to say Casio Keyboard are the way to go. The only thing I don't like about it is the headset, they still do the job.
No complaints, it is serving the purpose I bought it for!
May 8, 2015
Bought this to have a keyboard to mess around with while visiting family in Florida. It's a basic keyboard. Great for learning. Sounds are good for the price of this thing. It kept me busy when I got board and had the urge to play some keyboard. I like it, it is serving its purpose for me. Might even get my parents and brother playing because I'm leaving the keyboard with them.

Fashionable and functional
September 2, 2016
I love it so far! It works great especially for the price. I have small hands and prefer chiclet style keys, and I found this keyboard to be immediately comfortable to type on. It does exactly what you expect it to and the keys are reasonably responsive. It works in low light but you get the best few of the colors in a dim room. I would not recommend this for gaming. I found that if I let up on the shift key a bit, while still having the key pressed down, it will sometimes not register as being pressed. I've never had an issue with responses on the initial press of the key, just only after holding it down for a while do you notice that you really have to hold it down. For average use and light gaming, this is a great keyboard :)
Pretty nice Azio keyboard
July 21, 2016
I needed a new computer keyboard and liked the idea of a lit up version of a keyboard for my desktop computer. So, I got this keyboard from Azio. Very nice keyboard, easy to connect by USB into the computer and has 7 different colors you can choose from. It's pretty easy to see the keys in low light conditions using this keyboard, which I like. It's a full-sized keyboard, like any other one. The only issue I had with this keyboard are the legs to prop this keyboard to an angle like standard keyboards. The keyboard even with those 2 legs extended outward barely raise this keyboard up, so I had to superglue the 2 legs fully upward to make the keyboard slanted like any standard keyboard to make it easier to use, otherwise I have no other issues with this keyboard.
PROS & CONS - i hope this helps you decide!
July 15, 2015
So far i have enjoyed this keyboard, i'll be straight forward using pro & cons.Pros:• It has more colors to choose from than other keyboards i've amazoned.• Keys are NOT loud when typing & are soft keys. Which is a huge plus for me.• Shipping was incredibly fast.• It has rubber feet which does not let it slide nor scratch the surface it's sitting on.• It has the windows key. I am a windows type of guy, so that's a plus!• Able to angle it a little higher (might work for you, might not. Or you can place some object like a 2 by 4 to angle it as well. lol) as i provided in the pics.Cons:• Not bright enough• It needs a brightness control• One or more keys get stuck. This might be because it is not broken in or i possibly need to stop typing so hard.• Did i forget to mention it needs a brightness adjuster? Yes? Oh okay.• Needs to be brighter with brightness adjuster to dim if i wanted...just saying. Haha.Don't let the pics fool you, the colors in person are slightly darker. But keys are still clearly visible, much better than my non backlight keyboard i gave to Goodwill. Generally speaking, this keyboard is definitely worth the price tag & i am happy with this purchase (:P.s. I found the green light is the brightest to me so i will be using that one & use the others depending on my mood or something. I hope this helps you all!
Visually underwhelming, using it provides satisfaction.

Its a pretty good keyboard. Thin, sleek, and quiet when you type. As a web developer, doing a lot of typing at night and into the wee hours of the morning, I hate to annoy everyone in my home who are trying to sleep with my loud typing. This keyboard solved that noise problem. Everyone is right however, the lights are not that bright but the color options and other aesthetics allow me to overlook it. Also, there are no default volume control buttons on this keyboard so if your use to that or use to your function keys to handle that, you'll need to set that up on whatever OS your using.
I really like this keyboard
April 6, 2015
I really like this keyboard. The keys are pretty quiet and I like the layout. I do miss not having media keys but I'll live, lol. Also, I made an improvement to my board; the space bar is solid black so you can't really see the light underneath, scrape some of the black off and voila! I think it improves the overall look.
Excellent Quality
November 17, 2014
Really like this keyboard. First off, the lights are not very bright, but in a dark room you can really see it good. What really is good about this keyboard is the overall quality. The buttons are nice and firm, and the plastic looks and feels high quality.

At the time, was a solid mid-tier (price) backlight option...
May 25, 2017
Have had mine for over a year now. So far I've not noticed any flake on the lettering and overall the board performs no different than the day I unwrapped it from the box.Yes, the backlighting is soft/dim compared to other models and brands and there is no brightness adjustment functionality. If AZIO were to make a revised model of the PRISM, a brightness setting should be on the top of the list, aside from potentially adding either white or color matching RGB LEDs for Lighting/CapsLock/NumLock display vs the always blue LEDs. They could even go the extra mile to add this flare to light up their logo and model logo vs the static white lettering. No, there is no hidden Ctrl, Atl, Shft + Light Button functionality that they failed to document. The only options are litterally OFF, PRISM, and the seven solid colors. No included software either. The rotation of colors is: Preset "Prism" Rainbow Layout, Purple/Magenta/Pink, Teal/Light Blue, Dark Blue/Indigo, Peach/Light Pink, Red, Yellow Orange, Green -and then back to OFF. The 3rd, 5th, and 8th lighting colors are the most vibrant/visible even in a room that is lit.If you don't like typical backlighting, and really just want the focus of the lighting to be on the letters being lit, this keyboard would likely fit your preference, though I personally would love to have seen the LEDs adjustable to brighter as the keys have a translucent edge so that light will pop through differently than on typical mechanical setups.P.S. - It seems that they no longer make these, as is common with over seas productions these days to show up, make some things, then be gone by time supplies have stopped. For the sake of not being scalped, the price was about 30 USD at time these were selling from the maker. It really isn't worth the supply in demand hikes of 3rd party sellers as there are other and better options available on the market when you get to 60 USD or more with higher build quality and more premium features.
Well its pretty. It's really pretty
April 28, 2017
Well its pretty. It's really pretty. I hope the color light lasts so that when I finally replace this thing because I've been scratching the paint of I can use it as a night light.Pros:keys are comfortable and move appropriately (not too tough or insanely quick)The light actually shines up through he letters in the keysCons:THE PHOTO IS DECEIVING - there are not gaps like that, what you are seeing is actually the edges of the keys that have the lights. Instead the keyboard frame fills in between all the keys. Not something I'd normally complain about but it is easy for dust and small food crumbs to get in there and completely impossible (and I mean impossible) to clean that out without taking the keyboard apart.Again, the paint on they keys is rubbing them off leaving nothing but a light and some opaque white on the key. I have used it for, at most, 2 years now.The separation between the keys also makes the keyboard wider than it needs to be.
Okay, even though was hoping this had not so dim lightening...
April 8, 2017
Was hoping the keys were a bit more brighter, but like many other reviewers, i find the green setting to be the best that suits my vision, and overall if you're into working in dim light or no light at all but your computer screen then yes it's okay for all the color settings. Also, the "stands" on the back are NOT stable..It's just like flat - (flaps) either they turn completely inward so your keyboard is flat on the desk or they will fall quickly if you do not place them exactly even centered!!!! very annoying as I enjoy having my keyboard upright/ arched up, and now i'm constantly having to re-align them in the exact center to stay, which is only temporary, guess it depends on how hard you press down on the keys... i type a lot and fast so I was so used to just clicking away and kinda pushing at the keyboard harder than now, as i want to make sure i'm catching the exact keystroke ya know, but overall, i give it three stars.. took some time to get used too, just like anything else but will just be keeping and having this as its really not too bad, like i said just needs getting used to if your like me, or don't mind the more dimmer lightening..
It is an ok keyboard. Love the back-lighting.
August 17, 2015
I have had it a few months now before writing a review. Love the colors options for the back light and its low profile. Some of my keys are wearing off/flaking off though. I game with it though so some keys get more wear than others. My husband's keyboard; he has had longer than me and he games on is as well and his keys are fine. (might buy the one he has next time for forgo the cool colors that attracted me to this one). As far as typing with this one... it isn't too bad. The keys do not operate as smoothly as other keyboards and you can hear the sounds of them. But if you like the pretty colors then give it a go. As far as function I have not had any problems with the keys not working or any problems getting it to work with my computer. All of that is fine. I am not not thrilled with the wearing off of the buttons and the stiffness of the keys.Update: Finally pulled the photo off my phone and posted it. For me, the "W" is the only one that has flaked off. Also learned tonight that my Ctrl + M does not work properly for a game that I play. I don't use it typically so I had not noticed. The game I found it in was WOW. It is to toggle the music on and off while in game. I recently got new speakers and did not want to use the volume on the unit so I tried to use the key binders for the game. That is how I ended up finding this issue.
Good for some, not for me
August 15, 2015
Keyboard is very pleasing to the eyes and I very much enjoy the spacing between keys. I was able to press 3 command keys at once in games and all functions worked simultaneously. The multi-color (default) setting was my favorite. The other six settings were a little less bright that I had hoped for and there is no dimmer, the colors are on or off.The problem (for me) was that the key presses have no tactile or auditory feedback at all. Its like trying to type into baking flour or pressing the bristles of a soft paint brush. I don't have to have cherry green switches, but I like to know when I am pressing a key. Nothing was wrong with the keyboard, so I kept it as a backup. Purchased the Azio 5 color large print backlit keyboard instead.**Update** Added photos of this keyboard by itself and also next to the Azio 5 color large print backlit keyboard.
So far a pretty good keyboard!
April 4, 2014
I just received this keyboard today, and let me say, it's pretty damn good! It types well, it's very quiet, and it has excellent packaging. I was a bit skeptical since this brand is namely Chinese and there were absolutely no reviews or videos about it on Youtube. Now i just think that it is a new type of keyboard.Pros:7 colors, no need for driversThin, chiclet style keysVery quiet compared to my old keyboard (default dell)Comfortable shapeFast shippingFull sizedCons:The lights are not very bright unless the room is completely darkThe foot stand on the back sometimes wobbles and is very shortMaterial looks (BUT DOES NOT FEEL) cheap.Overall this is a great keyboard for the price and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to a backlit keyboard over name brands such as Razer.EDIT: This keyboard is already starting to wear off after heavy use of 2 months. Certain keys are getting stuck and jammed, and the matte finish on the keys is starting to wear off. I contacted Azio and they are willing to solve the problem for me.

Its ok...
May 9, 2017
I really wanted an illuminated keyboard that's orange-sh light. This one is very cheap quality, the keys are almost loud and feel very cheap = light and unstable. So fast typing is not possible. The light is very dim and when my desk light is on I can't tell that it's on as I can on my Razor mouse.I type with 10 fingers - fast and the more I type the more i dislike this cheap keyboard with an outrageous price for what you get.So by the end of the day I just couldn't stand it any more - my keyboard that came with my computer is much better.BEWARE if you want to return it it will cost YOU $10.00 to do so.
Ok for light use only
April 28, 2017
If your keyboard sits more than being used or lightly used this will do. It looks cool and feels decent.ButThe lighting is barely bright enough to see in normal light, keys take a lot of effort to depress, they work ok if hitting a corner or side, but that's more of a problem because they're spaced so close together. The deal breaker for me is the space bar. It's got a major off-side sticktion issue, requiring at least double the effort of the other keys.Back it goes!
Keys Stopped Working After Just A Few Months - Dissapointed
December 12, 2016
I was ecstatic to buy this keyboard, it had four stars and was backlit which is ideal for a college student like me who likes to write papers late at night when there is not much light. However, I should have returned it when it started to act funny. Just a few weeks into having the keyboard the letter 'T' would occasionally not work. If I tapped it a few times, sometimes I would get the letter to come out.About 5 months later, I no longer can type with this keyboard. I no longer can get the letter T, R, F, or G. I took the letters off to check what was up & if there was anything I could see that needed to be fixed and nothing worked. I've tried different USB ports, different computers, and nothing seems to make this keyboard work.I'm overall very disappointed with this product because I love the colors that this keyboard is backlit with but it doesn't work . Unfortuanly, I just wasted thirty dollars that I could have spent on a keyboard that works.

October 11, 2016
It was pretty fun to play with the lights and felt great for the time being - however, it straight up stopped functioning correctly after only a few weeks of owning it. There are no physical defects with it, yet it no longer responds to certain keypresses and combinations. I can no longer alt-tab out of programs or use multiple keystrokes at once. I've already tampered with keyboard settings, and nothing fixes it. I plugged in my old outdated keyboard and it functioned much better, even after collecting dust for sometime.I loved it was first, but since it gave out so quickly I'm rating this thing two stars. I wish I could get a refund, but I'm a tad past due.
Good but lights are terrible
May 11, 2016
Keyboard keys are great except for the right shift and enter keys because the seem to shake a little making more noise than the others. The keys are so dim and only one light on the del key works. You can't even see the other lights on with the room light on( not a big deal since I play in the dark but It has worse lighting than my last one). The keyboard is great except the lighting. Keys are mostly quiet and I like the feel to it than a standard keyboard.I would send it back but I'm lazy and will just deal with it.I will raise it another star if they tell me to send it back for a new.I'll raise it to all five if they send another.I recommend it only if u don't care about the lights.
OK but definitely not bright. It is MUCH MUCH harder to see than my laptop's keyboard under every option. Pictures are Deceptive
July 31, 2015
The only bright spot on the keyboard is the Delete key in the number pad. For some reason, it shows up MUCH brighter than it actually is in all of the pictures. It is hard to see whether the lights are on or off. There should be many more lights under the keyboard. The "M" key is already sticking after only a few weeks of use.

I am very disappointed that this cost $100 and the power cord does ...
March 21, 2017
Purchased in January, it is now March (2 months later) and the keyboard won't turn on with the powercord. We inputted batteries, and you can only hear sound in the left ear [tried with two different headphones]. I am very disappointed that this cost $100 and the power cord does not work, and the keyboard is now not fully functioning--and the "return window has closed".

Update: After letting them know of my disappointment--they agreed to pick up the cord, examine it, and then sent me a new one. Not sure why they didn't just send me a new one and put me through all of that hassle, but I will update the rating to two stars as a result. My son enjoys the keyboard.

Not a good LED keyboard, go look somewhere else.
December 14, 2016
This keyboard seemed like the right choice for a cheap LED keyboard but I was wrong. I've only had this keyboard for 2 or 3 weeks now and the LED keys are already broken. Along with that the keys are actually harder to see now that I can't light my keyboard up. Very unsatisfied. Definitely look somewhere else for a keyboard and don't consider buying this piece of suck.
Where's the backlighting?
May 25, 2016
"Backlights" are so weak, the letters can barely be seen. No, there is not an adjustment to make the backlighting brighter. I had to turn off the room's lights AND turn off my computer's monitor just to see the letters on the keyboard's brightest color (red). The backlighting in single color mode is also very uneven across the width of the keyboard. I typically get much better products for $30. Sending this one back!
Broken keys
December 20, 2015
I wasn't aware that I was buying from a reseller, but I found out when two of my keys didn't work. I wrote the manufacturer not thinking and they referred me back to this seller. Although there was a slip inside the box that said I would have a warranty on it. I wrote this seller to tell him about the broken keys. They told me to pop the key pads off and it should fix it. Well, it didn't and I was in shock that they would actually expect me to do that, even though I tried. It felt like a very lazy response. So I asked my boyfriend if he would fix it since he is good with computers. It is as of now still unfixed.

Third time was not a charm :(

Loved the idea and the first couple of months of my keyboard. Then the space bar would not work. Amazon graciously sent me a replacement after my attempt to contact the manufacturer. Once the replacement arrived, my computer would not recognize it. I updated all of my drivers. It made no sense. I even tried the original one and the original one worked instantly..despite the spacebar. Ordered a third replacement and same issue. I gave up after that. Very disappointed. :(
I *Thought* this was the best keyboard I have ever had.

Well I am now very disappointed 5 months after I gave this keyboard a 5 star review calling it "the best keyboard I ever had"... I now hate it... the Ctrl key has started sticking... at first it really had me confused because pressing the control key changes the way almost every application responds. I'm very sad as I do love the look and feel of this keyboard, but 5 months is just not long enough, even at just $30.original review:This is a great keyboard! I really like how it feels and the layout of the keys is perfect. This is the third illuminated keyboard I have tried and the others either ended up in the trash or at Goodwill.

Missing part

It works fine now that I went to radio shack to buy a $25 electric cord to power it. The box claims it comes with one, but it didn't.

one of the keys is faulty, I just want a replacement keyboard, but the only way is for them to charge me twice until they receive it back?
