I purchased this shampoo as a last ditch effort in finding relief for my poorboy (instead of steroids and antibiotics). His skin and coat look amazing after only one shampoo (I used their conditioner too) and it's the best his skin has looked in the very long! time thank you for making such an amazing product Dogs with Scabs and Flakey skin- completely gone! July 12, 2016 My dogs both have flakey and itchy skin issues, due to allergies. This is wonderful! My dogs both had clear skin and itched a lot less, after just one use. I went back to the oatmeal shampoo I used before, and my dog's skin issues returned. This was really a relief! So happy with it. Ooops, we found the beaver pond! June 30, 2016 I purchased this after my dog had gone to the vet. She found the beaver pond behind my house and had gotten a mild staph infection. She scratched dispite the spray. And i gave it a shot.I have not bathe my cat since March and she was getting dirty and smelly. She enjoyed the foam cleanse bath and it was fairly easy to use. And leaves a pleasant smell on her and removed most if not all the filth on her coat after the foam dried.She smells nice even after 4 days of getting cleansed. I will definitely keep using and buying this product.It's not hard on the hands but I would recommend using gloves as not to absorb any of the grim from the coat on to your hands. Try this if you just have a cat who isn't cleaning himself January 15, 2014 I want to start by saying that this is a great product for cats who don't keep themselves clean. It didn't exactly help us as much as we had hoped, but it's still a great product.We have a wonderful 18-year-old cat who has a medical condition that makes it difficult for him to clean himself. I was hoping this would help us keep him clean. It generally works. For a cat who just gets gives up on cleaning, I'm guessing this would be very helpful. It did make our cat's coat cleaner and it removed some of the odor. However, our cat still tries to clean himself, which means he has food and other stuff stuck in his medium-length fur. This obviously won't work to dislodge actual dirt. It's a great product but it just didn't work for what we needed it for. This foam does help us keep him clean between baths, but we still have to bathe him regularly. I'm giving it five stars because this product never promised to do what we were hoping it would. It delivers exactly what it promises. It also has a nice, light scent that didn't seem to bother our cat who is generally sensitive to smells. cat loved it March 30, 2013 My cats dandruff was out of control which is why I got it. I waited until she was sleeping on my lap. My boyfriend shook it up, put it in my hand and then I put it on as if I was petting her and then went opposite to get it to her roots. She was very calm through the whole thing and was not agitated afterwards.Her dandruff is gone, her coat is no longer oily and matted, and she doesn't hate us. |

Four Star Reviews: | 8% Smells Good April 1, 2017 Smells good but I think my dog's skin is sensitive to this product. She gets a temporary rash on her belly after we wash her with it. I am not sure if it kills bacteria and fungus or not... but not perfect either. January 19, 2017 Seems to work well to calm irritated skin. It also leans very well. The only reason it is not 5 stars is that it is too thick -- almost jello-like consistency. It makes it a bit too hard to dole out of the bottle... you either get too much or too little. And with one hand on the pooch or the water dispenser, it is a bit hard -- No big deal, but not perfect either. Amazing product. Received later than I shouldve. January 9, 2016 Really loved this shampoo! It smells so good. Cleared up a mild case of ringworm on my kitten. Only problem was shipping. It didn't come when it was supposed to. I payed $6 for shipping. The ups man literally drove in my driveway turned around and went back to the store site then I didn't receive the item for 2 days after and I really needed it. I was disappointed. Other than that, great product! Will definitely try more products. Hopefully shipping is better next time. I would use good 8 pumps to cover 1 kitten (4 months old).For a grown cat, I think you would need 12 pumps at least.After rubbing this foam into their fur, I brush them out. My kittens usually clean themselves afterwards :)I use this once a month between their monthly baths, to freshen up their fur. Works great for long haired kitties. August 8, 2013 I have an old man cat who has some issues in the grooming department. He's old enough that his hair is starting to get a bit icky and greasy, so he needs help keeping it clean. This foaming shampoo is a great interim cleanser when I don't feel like going through the full struggle of bathing him (which we still do every month), and helps him stay fresh and clean. It's got a nice, pleasant smell, and he thinks it's some sort of fun petting activity. He's not scared of the squelching noise, or the moisture, and he seems to enjoy the scent as well. It's actually a very calming process. I prefer this over pet wipes because I can massage this in, then brush it out. The pet wipes really just deposit small bits of moisture at a time, and I feel like I use more than I do if I go the foaming shampoo route. |

I have changed food so often, bought hydrocortisone creams and sprays, and washed all spreads, towels and cloth toys with baby laundry detergent, double rinses, no fabric softener and still he suffers. I thought I would change his shampoo (from baby shampoo monthly) to see if it made a difference. Well, wish I could say it cured him. It didn't. However, it doesn't make it worse; it smells great and that lingers for a bit, and tamed his redness and softened the flaky parts. However, it takes so much of the product to work into the skin and fur that it took me almost half of a bottle to bathe my golden retriever once.
