A bath was not a part of his agenda. People would stroke his back and turn up their noses. Thick coat. Way too thick. He deserved better, but nobody wanted to dunk him! Sister recommended we try these ... daily ... for a while ... and, then, one day, Jake was clean, good-lookin', good to our feel, fine-feeling to visitors' fingers, as well as his tongue! Jakey was happy. We were happy. The world is good. Amazing July 20, 2016 My overweight cat (we're working on it) is not able to groom himself well. We've tried all sorts of foods and fish oil supplements, but he is solid black and has HORRIBLE dander. ONE WIPE with these and he's almost completely dander-free for at least a day or 2, and really doesn't need to be wiped down again for 4-5 days. He's huge (19 lbs), and I can use one wipe on him. He's not crazy about when I wipe him in the "wrong" direction, but for the most part he does fine. My veterinarian said this is a common male cat "thing" and to use the Earthbath wipes on him as frequently as needed. He gets a going-over once or twice a week, and these wipes make his coat clean and fluffy. Also he has asthma and the fact that these wipes are unscented and do not aggravate his condition is a huge plus. They are also my go-to for cleaning outer ears and removing the occasional dingleberry. I use these on my other three cats as well whenever they need a "bath" and they work just great for everybody. June 30, 2016 I purchased this after my dog had gone to the vet. She found the beaver pond behind my house and had gotten a mild staph infection. She scratched dispite the spray. Four Star Reviews: | 20% ... week or so ago and noticed how rough and dirty their fur felt August 25, 2017 I used these on my cats after I had rubbed diatomaceous earth in them a week or so ago and noticed how rough and dirty their fur felt. While they didn't necessarily enjoy the wiping part (I did have to kind of hold them down) they felt much better afterwards and didn't spend a lot of time cleaning themselves after, so I don't think it bothered them at all really. Seem gentle, not a "bath" but won't make kitty sick or cry because it burns July 21, 2017 Doesn't have much perfume, which is good because other wipes smell better but burn tender kitty parts and make both our cats vomit when they lick it off their fur. These work great - better than a personal washcloth at least! Superior product! Inferior package. April 13, 2017 This is the third time I have ordered these wipes for my cat. I LOVE the product!!! And my cat doesn't mind them, either. But the packaging gets worse each time! The top that's supposed to release when you depress the tab misses it's connection to the tab by....this much. If they don't connect, the top is left in the open position and the wipes are going to dry out!The wipes usually stay nice & moist, making the entire 100 of them useful. Now, however......not so much! It makes it a bit too hard to dole out of the bottle... you either get too much or too little. January 9, 2016 Really loved this shampoo! It smells so good. Cleared up a mild case of ringworm on my kitten. Only problem was shipping. It didn't come when it was supposed to. I payed $6 for shipping. The ups man literally drove in my driveway turned around and went back to the store site then I didn't receive the item for 2 days after and I really needed it. I was disappointed. Other than that, great product! Will definitely try more products. Hopefully shipping is better next time. He still scratches--because of his allergies--but I think the weird bacterial and fungal infections are already better. Three Star Reviews: | 15% The lid won't close and product dried out pretty quick May 9, 2017 A good idea in theory, but after a few uses, the lid wouldn't stay shut, so my wipes are all dried out. Now I just wet them with some water before use. Not bad, not great. May 1, 2017 The first couple were okay, but it seems like the lid doesn't stay shut all the way. So the rest feel kind of dry now. They do work in a pinch. What I have done is run water over the wipes and it seems to work a little better. They're OK, I guess, but I don't think I'll purchase again. September 10, 2014 I bought these mainly for my 19 year old cat because she doesn't groom as much as she should anymore. I brush her more often to try to compensate, but that seems to cause her more dandruff. So I thought that these might work to help with her dry skin and take off some flakes and loose hair.These have a slightly odd odor, maybe that's the Aloe, I'm not sure. I'm not sure that's the best ingredient for a cat wipe, but I'm no expert. I do know that none of my cats like the smell. These wipes are rather dry, so they don't remove the dandruff/dry skin flaking. They don't even remove much for loose hair, either.Maybe they work well with dander removal--I'm lucky enough not to be bothered by that, so I can't judge. As a furry owner, you'll try anything to give your pal relief. The info out there is conflicting--don't bathe too often, bathe daily, don't use soap products, arrrgh! I have changed food so often, bought hydrocortisone creams and sprays, and washed all spreads, towels and cloth toys with baby laundry detergent, double rinses, no fabric softener and still he suffers. I thought I would change his shampoo (from baby shampoo monthly) to see if it made a difference. Well, wish I could say it cured him. It didn't. However, it doesn't make it worse; it smells great and that lingers for a bit, and tamed his redness and softened the flaky parts. So, I will keep using it and find the right food formula down the road. |

Two Star Reviews: | 6% The cat runs from these March 22, 2017 I bought these to help deal with my cat allergies. The first time I wiped down the cat, he was not too happy. He spent hours licking himself to get the scent off of him - which I'm pretty sure defeated the purpose of the wipes. As fast as I had removed the all the allergenic protein from his fur, he replaced it with a fresh coating of protein-laden saliva. I thought maybe he'd get used to the wipes and stop licking so much post-wipe down. No such luck. He's developed a deep hatred of the wipes and the second he sees the box, or a wipe, or even just a plain old white tissue these days, he bolts faster than if he had seen the vacuum cleaner. On the plus side, due to his huge aversion to these wipes, I can now keep him away from things he shouldn't be messing with. If I lay a wipe on a potted plant, he won't go near it to chew the leaves anymore, so they weren't a total waste, I guess. Product package defect. March 17, 2017 The product itself seems fine but my lid won't stay closed. It's not broken either. Not sure if it's a product defect or I'm just unlucky. I ended up taping the door shut so it doesn't dry out the wipes and opening the entire top when I need to use one Lid Falls Off May 4, 2016 The wipes are fine. The packaging is terrible. The lid is so loose that it falls off every time you pick up the box. There is no way that these wipes are going to stay moist with this packaging. They showed up with a MANGO TANGO scent.I can not use them on kittens! The label on the top THAT DOES NOT STAY CLOSED, says grooming wipes, NOT Cat Wipes.Now I am stuck with two boxes of stinky wipes that I can't use on my foster kittens! I'm hoping the other boxes they ordered for me don't show up as the same stinking wipes.I have used these for years and was always willing to ignore the fact that the box never stays closed, or it shows up cracked, but after this, I'm never adding them to my wish list again. You just lost a good customer. Bad Packaging; Cover Won't Close August 28, 2017 I have used these cat wipes in the past and the wipes are fine. I had read reviews here that the cover wouldn't close, but since I had some of these wipes at home, I didn't imagine this would be a problem. But it was. The cover will not close at all. The wipes had no protective cover. They weren't dried out completely, but they also weren't as wet as I think they normally are. I should probably return them. I put some plastic wrap over the dispenser hole to keep them from drying out completely. Cats...Go Figure. June 18, 2017 It's not that I hate this product...I couldn't smell a thing.
