This is the one, right here. (put it in your cart)
January 10, 2017
This is by far the best transfer medium I have used. Let me back up and start with I have been doing vinyl transfers for about a year and a half. Someone recommended I try the dollar tree clear shelf paper, called magic cover. Between that and regular old clear contact paper I thought I was a pro. Until one day I got to a spot on the roll and it wouldn't stick. At all. Not even a little bit. Panicked I grabbed the contact paper and it stuck, but wouldn't release my vinyl. It was stuck on there for good. So I cut it out again. And again and kept having the same issues with one not lifting, or lifting just enough but once put on my surface, I pretty much had to individually convince each tiny piece to go down. I might as well done it by hand. I wasted SO MUCH VINYL! I finally threw out the contact paper. I stopped doing vinyl for a bit because it was so stressful that my fun hobby became no fun.

So Christmas just came up, and my friend needed a bunch of small gifts. She asked me if I could make a few monograms for her. No problem! Let me just cut these out. Then I had to face the fact that my magic over wasn't sticking. Again. At all. So I read some reviews, ok I read a lot of reviews, and I figured Amazon has a great return policy right? 2 days later I got the paper transfer tape. I wasn't really sure I made the right choice. I mean it wasn't clear. It was see through enough. guess. I cut out a bunch of monograms. I made a couple extras and unrolled my new transfer paper. I started to smile, could this be easier? Then I cut out a few places and placed it on my vinyl and guess what? It stuck. I hadn't even burnished it, and it was stuck! I refused to give in, yet. I had to put this vinyl on a cup, just to see. And it stuck, and it peeled off so easily! You know how they say the right tools make a difference? This is the right tool for vinyl. This was by far the best product I had used so far.

I have waited a few weeks, and many applications before I gave this product a review. I even tried out another "popular brand" because I was so hung up on the clear without spending more. I can honestly say this made me love doing vinyl again. A few dozen ornaments and cups later, this is what made the biggest difference for me. I use mostly oracal 651, but have also tried it with both cricut and silhouette vinyl with the same great results. I will be ordering the clear next time in addition to another roll of the paper tape. And Angel Crafts, super nice seller. They actually reached out and email you to ask how you like the product. I love that. Thank you!
Great transfer paper that you can get several uses out of!
September 14, 2015
I ordered this for some vinyl projects I am working on as I only had a small amount of transfer paper left and didn't want to be caught short handed. It arrived quickly and I like the larger grids on it as I like doing larger wall vinyl cuttings and this is perfect for it. It is sticky, but with a good rubbing with a credit card it transfers well...and can be used again! I like recycling and this addressed my one concern over price vs contact paper...this works out to be a far better deal!. :)

Some folks have been rather negative of the product from what I read before ordering. However, I do have grids on mine, and I can see through the paper clearly when I transfer items. Wondering if someone might not have been using the backing instead of the transfer paper.
great transfer paper for vinyl projects
July 17, 2015
This works great. I was very pleased with how well it worked and didn't leave behind any residue when applying the vinyl to my projects. I will definitely be purchasing it again in the future. I also love that it has the grid so you can better align your projects to make sure they are centered and straight. It is a white transfer paper but you can see through it really well to see your image. Great price point also. Shipped fast. Thank you!
Great transfer paper. Love it.
July 3, 2015
Love it. The paper has a low enough opacity that it's very easy to line up the paper with the design, and the 1x1 inch graph makes sizing a breeze when used in conjunction with my digital cutter. Adhesion is just perfectly right between being sticky enough to securely lift my vinyl off it's backing and not so sticky that pieces of vinyl stay stuck to the transfer paper when I remove it after stencil application.

I've only used this with vinyl, and vinyl is the material the product details claim this paper is designed for. It works great with the Craft E brand and the Oracal 631 brand that I've tried it with. The adhesive is almost certainly too strong for any kind of fibrous paper, though. Don't use this for construction paper. You'll destroy your cut.

Tip: When removing any kind of transfer paper from a design after applying the design to your working medium, remove it by peeling back in such a way that the angle where the contact paper lifts off your design is as obtuse as possible. I've attached an image to show what I mean. See how the paper I'm grabbing the paper very close to where it's coming off the "design" and am pulling it all the way back so it's almost folded back on itself? Doing this will help avoid small details of your design sticking to the transfer tape, and this is a handy tip for dealing with any kind of adhesive paper.
This is what you want to buy
March 24, 2015
Got a few emails asking me to review this transfer paper and I wanted to use it a few times before I did, when i'm in a pinch I go to Joann's and buy the Cricut or Stiletto transfer paper, whichever is cheaper at the time, and it works fine for putting a sticker on a window or wall, whatever. But the price point for the Cricut or Stiletto transfer paper is just ridiculously high for the amount you get, it's a fools game. So I've kept an eye out for something on Amazon, there is another bulk roll you can guy which I have and it is literally, just tape, I cannot get the vinyl to release from it which essentially makes it garbage for what I want to use it for.

This transfer paper is perfect, it has a grid on it if you need it and it isn't too sticky that it won't release what you are trying to transfer. I've put vinyl on car windows and it doesn't leave a lot of horrible residue I have to deal with like the Cricut or Stiletto stuff always does, I spend more time cleaning the left over Cricut or Stiletto transfer paper glue off then it takes to cut the stupid sticker out to begin with. This also works great on wall transfers but I've only done one of those so far in my own home, zero issues doing it.

I plan on buying this product as long as it is being sold.

Worked really well
August 13, 2017
This stuff did the job! I make a lot of my own signs and before i got a cricut i was using this to make them and then paling over whatever i traced. They worked great. Now i have a cricut and haven't had to use them again.

works perfectly for transferring pattern on to wood, Formica or what ever you need the pattern on.
Lines are great.
May 30, 2017
Any suggestions on getting the lines off of a light colored surface??
Got the job done!
June 7, 2016
This paper worked great! The lines were clear, dark, and no there was no smudging. The only problem I had was finding out you can't erase. Besides that, this product works wonderfully. It's the size of and normal piece of tissue paper. I cut it to fit my smaller projects. High recommend!
Works like a charm
March 23, 2016
This stuff is awesome!! It works great! I tried all kinds of different methods (heat transfer, etching, poking holes in paper, etc.) before I found this and it works like a charm. It's not exactly erasable, but I found a product that works for my needs. Plus, the sheets are HUGE.
Great product, easy to use.

But I still love this product- use all the time and reorder often
January 3, 2017
I use this all the time. Easier to use then the tape. The biggest negative is it doesn't restick to the paper- so you can't make a decal and send it to someone with this. And it's paper so not see through so be careful when matching up designs and applying. But I still love this product- use all the time and reorder often. It's not too sticky that it leaves a residue or is too hard to get off but it is still tacky enough that I use several times over. Would recommend!
Great for some projects! For others... not so much.
November 26, 2016
I purchased this to use with vinyl stickers cut out with my Silhouette machine. My main purpose was to make my own decals for my truck with my company information and a few different designs. But as a side note, I do make crafts with wood and glass in my spare time. With two different purposes, I have a love-hate relationship with this transfer paper. The PROS:1. The lines make it easier to get your decals/project straight.2. Easy to stick to your design. A couple of swipes with your scraper or credit card, and it's stuck. No need to use elbow grease to get it to stick. There is no shifting of your design once stuck to the transfer paper.3. Holds up well longer term. For example, I made some smaller decals with my company name and logo and threw them in the console of my truck. A few months later, even through the heat of summer and rummaging around in there all the time, they were still in great shape and was able to then transfer onto the truck with no problems. The CONS:1. It is almost too sticky when using to transfer decals onto the pickup windows. Once it stuck (even just the corner), it was too difficult to get it back off to realign it. I ended up wasting a 12" x 12" decal because the wind caught it and slapped part of it on the window. In trying to pull it back off, it ruined the vinyl decal. Operator error for sure, but it was just too sticky for that. However, in transferring decals onto the wood crafts, it works perfectly! Enough stick to get it to stay, but yet peeled right off wonderfully. **Also, the thinner vinyl tends to rip when peeling the transfer tape off due to its stickiness. Be sure you're using a thicker, quality vinyl.**2. The white paper is thick which is nice and easy to work with, but it's almost too thick to see through. I had a tough time getting my lighter colored (silver glittered) vinyl lined up right because I couldn't see it. It then threw me for a loop trying to line it up straight on the project.Overall, I keep this on hand for certain projects. I would buy it again. The seller was great! Shipping was fast and secure. Angel Crafts 12" by 8' Transfer Paper Tape Roll w/ Grid - PERFECT ALIGNMENT of Cricut or Cameo Self Adhesive Vinyl for Walls, Signs, Decals, Windows, and other Smooth Surfaces.
great quality, annoying emails..
October 24, 2016
The quality of the product is great and is nicely packaged. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the seller sending me multiple emails. The first email was to make sure I received my item and was happy with it. I thought that was nice; however, the next couple emails were simply trying to get me to purchase other products they have. I consider this to be spam mail and do not appreciate it.
Does the job usually
December 16, 2015
Pretty darn good stuff. Does the job better than what I was using before (Glad Press & Seal!) and has nice grid lines for easy lining up. Sometimes too sticky, I have a hard time getting it to let go of my oracal 651 on glass. I get around the issue by sticking it on my shirt two or three times before using it, but I wish it had just a bit less tack to begin with.
Great product!
September 9, 2015
This transfer tape is wonderful and a great price for the amount your receive. It is hard to use transfer tapes that you cannot see through clearly, but the transparency of this is perfect and the grids make lining your projects up so much easier. I gave it 4 stars only because it's slightly tackier than tapes that are not clear, making it a bit challenging to pull off of projects. I just took my time with it and it worked fine. A plus side of the tackiness Is that you can easily reuse pieces a few times before discarding.

Large sheets, good transfers
October 11, 2013
Good stuff...plenty of transfer paper for a ton of projects. I use this to transfer photos to wood or canvas for painting. Sheets are large, so you won't have to tape multiple sheets together to cover a decent sized piece of work. The transfers are pretty good...doesn't take a lot of pressure to get the transfer dark enough to work with...doesn't smear, and acrylic paints seem to have no trouble adhering to the lines. Overall, definite recommend
Great value.
June 12, 2013
This is just what I wanted. The one thing that would give it 5 stars is if it didn't leave marks wherever I touched. I needed to do some rather fussy cleanup after I was done painting my design to get all the smudge marks off.
Very dark
March 26, 2013
I do woodburning and my local area does not readily make transfer paper available. So I ordered this. This is ALOT there. It's very dark and rubs onto the wood easily. I like that its dark, I don't like that it leaves residue that I have to clean up after. But when I'm doing a very detailed image, the dark lines are a huge plus!
Great...
March 11, 2013
Nice large size sheets, and heavy in thickness. So once I get one of the fabled 'round 2 it's I will be good to go. I got this as suggested in a book on making signs (either carving or using a router freehand). Looking forward to making the time!

A Little Too Sticky
March 30, 2017
This transfer film is good quality and all, but it's a bit too sticky. You have to fight with the vinyl to keep corners and tips stuck to your item and I've been having to use an exacto knife to hold down some parts so I can peel the transfer paper off. This would be a problem if you plan on shipping stickers to customers as I imagine that you'll get a lot of complaints and returns of ruined stickers.

August 30, 2016
Have a really hard time getting the tape to release the vinyl. I am using Oracle 651. No mater how much I burnish the design the tape still pulls up with the vinyl.
Clear feature is a major plus
June 30, 2016
I really liked the clear feature. I had been using the slightly cloudy version and this was easier to situate since I could see through it. The down side I was having is that it didn't want to stick to the vinyl lettering that I had it on. Finally, we figured out that if we flipped the project over and pulled the backing off the letters very carefully, then it would stick to the clear transfer paper like it should. From there it was great. We could see what it looked like on the item I was placing the letters on so I could see if it needed to be moved around before it was a done deal.
I loved this. but it was very sticky
May 5, 2016
VERY STICKY. I loved this. but it was very sticky, yet didn't hold the stick. If I were doing multiple things at once, I could only use 1 piece about twic and then would have to get a new one. Which is frustrating during a project. But the first time you take the backing off, watch out! because anything around it, it will grab!
Disappointed
March 12, 2016
It picks up the vinyl sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Disappointed because all the great reviews on this product. I don't know if I just got a bad roll or what. At this point I would not buy again.

March 22, 2017
I would rather have Cricut transfer paper than this. The blue line made it hard for me to line up layering vinyl and the "clear" is not clear at all. It is sort of blurry clear. The performance of the transfer paper is wonderful. It was very easy to transfer from the original backing of my image to the layered image I was going for. I ended up with bubbles, which I normally do not end up with in my layering of vinyl. I wanted a clear see through where I can see to my bottom layers and this wasn't what I had hoped for.
Did not like using it with vinyl
October 30, 2016
Contact paper very tough to separate. Did not like using it with vinyl. Had to cut it in small sections to try and work with it better. I really needed this to work. Had to run to store and buy som . Might try and use it for shelving
Disappointing, to say the least...
August 22, 2016
I wanted to love this product - I REALLY did. I've ordered SO many things from this company - none of which I have complaints about.

This transfer tape hasn't transferred ANYTHING over for me - literally, nothing. It refuses to pick up any kind of vinyl - at all.

I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed.
Not so sticky
May 24, 2016
This paper isn't very "sticky" I do not care for it AT ALL i have to go back over multiple times to transfer onto the vinyl as well as onto the object I am transferring it to. I've used it with two different types of Vinyl one being cricut paper and its still kind of "meh" I will not be purchasing this brand again.

After trying several brands, I finally found true Graphite Transfer paper- am will never use a carbon paper based product again! The Pattern Transfer Paper For Wood is waxy once pattern is lightly drawn. The lines DO NOT erase at all. Doesn't work for detailed wood burning. Will stay with true Graphite Transfer paper, easy clean up- simple as that.

Do not buy!
February 2, 2017
This is the worst transfer paper I've ever used. I attempted to use it on multiple vinyl cut decals and it ruined two separate ones, both of different vinyls and cuts, because it doesn't lift the vinyl. It cost me a decent amount of money to have to replace those custom decals.
Used 6in of a roll and hate it, now I'm out $20 😣

Don't really care for the clear...it's almost like plastic and you can't see where the air bubbles are. Used 6in of a roll and now I'm out $20 😣
Even after a seventh try...Still doesn't work for me!
October 26, 2016
Just realized I never left a review...wel here it is. This product doesn't work for me. Got lots of it and it just doesn't get hardly any of the vinyl up. I have tried several times to transfer and just have lots of it that I can't use. I ended up buying the cricut version. Yes, you pay more for less...but it works and I can reuse it a few times. This was a waste of money.

Despite the statement that it is 8' long it is only 7' (84") long. We bought it with the understanding that the 8' length would be sufficient but the 7' length is not enough.

Smears off with the slightest touch. Uncool.
April 11, 2017
I was all prepared to love this transfer paper, but there's one major flaw -- the transfer wipes off. I accidentally rubbed it with the side of my hand as I was tracing another part of my design onto my wood piece, and it smeared everywhere. I spent a long time erasing and couldn't get it all off. Definitely not good for the intended use. I'll go back to standard carbon paper from here on out.
