This review is for the "Lightly Sea Salted Pumpkin Seeds In Shell" (not the jumbo ones).They are fantastic!! Roasted just right and just a touch of salt!!I used to buy David's pumpkin seeds which are way oversalted and barely roasted and I also tried Gerbs Jumbo Unsalted Pumpkin Seeds which didn't have a lot of flavor.But these ones are just right, I already ordered a second bag since I store them in the freezer where they last for months and months.Some people complained about the clusters in their review... yes, there are some clusters of 3-5 seeds but I love them!! Either pop the whole cluster into your mouth or nibble one seed at a time.Outstanding product, I'll be a customer for life!!

I had not had decent pumpkin seeds for years so thought I'd try these. Glad I did. At first my husband was upset that I ordered such a large bag because he does not like eating pumpkin seeds. I asked him to please try a few just last night and since then I've had to make him his own Ziploc bag to sit along side his chair so that he can enjoy them while watching TV. He commented that "they were much better than the last ones he tried many years ago". These are very fresh and crispy, just the way they should be. I would love to try some of the spicy ones if they ever come back in stock on Amazon. Very good product!!

I was so tired of buying stale pumpkin seeds at various stores in my city. I've started a low carb diet and pumpkin seeds are a very good low carb snack. I gave Amazon a try for good pumpkin seeds and hit the jackpot with Gerbs Gourmet Pumpkin Seeds. Years ago the ones I made at Halloween weren't as good as Gerbs. I'll now be a customer for life....even if I go back to eating carbs. These seeds are that good.

These are amazing. I realize this is subjective but these are flavorful as well as just hot. I like spicy foods, but don't regularly eat really hot foods (ie: habanero or ghost peppers, that kind of thing) and I would put these At about a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being painfully hot. They do not seem to be heavily salted either.The 2 lb. Bag is enormous; an exceptional value. The size of the individual seeds is also impressive. They are fresh and plump enough to eat one at a time.Will definitely buy these again. Soon and often!

I'm half way through a second two pound bag of Gerb's Jumbo Raw Pumpkin Seeds In Shell in less than a month for two good reasons… their size and when roasted their taste. Last October I removed the seeds from a pumpkin and roasted them. They tasted okay but the seeds where smaller than these Jumbos. They didn't have the flavor and didn't last as long. For a dollar or two more than the Gerbs regular pumpkin seeds, the Jumbos are the way to go.By the way I don't shell the pumpkin seeds after they have been roasted. I eat them as they are.The recipe for roasting the seeds is fairly basic.1 pint size container of seeds (about 2 cups)3-4 cups of water5 teaspoons of salt (more or less to taste)Bring the salted water and pumpkin seeds to a boil. Let simmer for 10 minutes. The seeds become light gray in color. Remove from heat and drain.Pat dry lightly in the pan, then coat the seeds in the pan with about a teaspoon or so of olive oil. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a heavy duty baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the seeds out over the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake until the seeds begin to brown, the first signs of browning are hearing some of the seeds begin to pop. Mix around every few minutes thereafter. Roasting time is between 20 and 25 minutes. Keep an eye on the seeds so they don't burn. A bit less time if you use other than the Jumbos. I have also coated the seed with a couple tablespoons of maple syrup while still in the pan. Taste good, but decided I like the plane roasted better.

They're just that good. They taste like seeds I would make (light sea salt flavor), except less burnt! I also used to get my pumpkin seeds from Trader Joe's but they haven't been selling the in-shell kind lately for some reason. I'm very happy I found this seller because the mass manufactured kinds are either inconsistent, too salty, or too unnatural. Very happy!

Bought this for my husband after reading a study (with pictures) showing regrowth of hair in men's pattern baldness. It's been two months and he actually does have some new little hairs regrowing in a two square inch section of his front receding area. It will not re-activate totally bald areas, but thinning areas will come back in thicker.

I take these for really bad leg cramps and they are much better. I guess these are high in magnesium.

I've been using this Pumpkin Seed Oil for about two weeks and have noticed a definite improvement in my over active bladder issues. I used to go to the restroom 5 to 6 times a night. I was feeling so tired in the morning. Now I am going 1 to 2 times during the night. What a relief!

I have had weak bladder all my life. I have suffering from overactive bladder since age 14, but couldn't do anything about it. Now, I am 43 and can't believe that after so many years, my problem is 95% gone within 30 days of taking this supplement. I don't wear diapers anymore, after long long time. I was going to go through sling surgery in few weeks, I guess I don't need that anymore. I am really glad I made the decision to buy Pumpkin Seed Oil from Now Foods. Thank goodness to alternative medicine out there, it saved my life.

Quoted as a "Placebo Effect" by my urologist.............. but if it helps from keeping me from the bathroom all day and allow me more hours of sleep rather than waking every 30 to 45 mins. during the night................. I'll let the placebo effect to keep happening.

This is my second bag of pumpkin seeds (in shell) from this company. I absolutely loved the first flavor I bought, sea salted. I ate them like potato chips! I like the spicy habanero but not as much as the sea salt. They are fairly spicy hot, which I like, but the spice is to the point of compromising the pumpkin seed flavor. All I taste is "hot", and wish the heat was a bit more delicate so as to let other flavors shine through. They could also use a bit more salt. If you like spicy, though, you will probably really like these. I think this is a great company, and I love in-shell pumpkin seeds, so I will be buying and trying other flavors in the future.

I mentioned in an earlier post (for another pumpkin seed product/company) that I've been on a pumpkin seed kick lately. I ordered a bag of these at the same time I ordered from the other company. It never hurts to try different options/prices, right? Unlike the other brand that I bought, these were very good! I subsequently bought 2 more bags! The seeds are a bit bigger than the ones I was buying from Walmart, but the flavor is good, the seeds are crunchy, and the salt is "just right." I buy the lightly sea salted seeds in shell. I noticed that another reviewer mentioned that the seeds stuck together. I happen to like that, personally. LOL It doesn't happen often, but when it does, I happily crunch them, so that doesn't detract from the rating. I didn't give it 5 stars, because the ones I get at Walmart happen to taste just slightly better. If I could get the same amount of those for the same price that I get these, I would have to go with them. Until then, these are fantastic and I will continue to buy, eat, and rave about them!

The overall taste and texture of these Gerbs pumpkin seeds, are very similar to home prepared pumpkin seeds. Seriously: they're excellent. I have tried the lightly sea salted version prior, and I do admit, I was a bit nervous to try the "Toasted Onion & Garlic" flavour. Essentially, these were a taste I was either going to like, or try rinsing off. Out of my honest opinion, I do like this particular flavour. It sounds a bit odd, however, witih the mixed seasoning incorporated with these roasted seeds, to an extent they remind me of Lays BBQ chips: this light seasoning on the initial product. By no means is the seasoning overwhelming; I would deem the seasoning to simple enhance the initial flavour and texture of a plain pumpkin seed. Some of the seasoning sinks to the bottom of the package, which is naturally expected; shake the bag when it has a small air pocket, and you are good to go again. In regards to the flavour, I am neither overwhelmed by onion nor garlic: it is truly more of a mixed powder seasoning mix, again similar to the Lays BBQ chips. =)

These are some of the best tasting pumpkin seeds ever! We always buy the lightly sea salted, and they have just the right amount of salt.Ideally, these pumpkin seeds have the perfect amount of crunch. However, the crunch factor is not always consistent. It's understandable that sometimes a few seeds will stick together, resulting in the inner ones not completely drying during the roasting process. We have had two bags, though, where nearly all the seeds were not crunchy enough. I don't know if this is a result of the preparation, or the fact that we live in a very hot and humid state. Nonetheless, we continue to order them, because they are so healthy and so tasty, and beat any of the brands you'll find your local chain grocery store.

Good. Not too salty. Fresh and yummy. I've started to snack on these in the afternoon and they are really good. I like that they are lightly salted- I've had other brands that were WAY too salty, and these are perfect! They are healthy and there are a lot of health benefits to eating pumpkin seeds, in addition to keeping my snacking mouth busy, I feel good about this. It's also a good size bag, I just portion them out in 1 oz portions in snack size ziplock bags for the week, and I'm good. Yummy. Will buy again.

I came across this vendor's product while looking for the same stuff from some other seller whose price was double. My most significant beef with these seeds (at least the ones I received) is that at least on third of them if not half are clumped together in pairs, or even three or more seeds stuck together. Sure, it does not take a lot of effort to separate them but it is annoying with so many of them like that. On the positive side, those reviewers who say they taste no salt at all either have received their product from a significantly different batch or have abused their sense for salt. In my opinion, the description of lightly salted is very appropriate. And finally, I would 100% say that the competing product is not twice as good to be worth spending double on it.

Seems to be a quality PS oil. Ive heard the darker the oil the better. These capsules have a nice tinge.

This is a quality product and I noted improvement in prostate related urinary symptoms. The capsules are a little hard to swallow so I was chewing them open and swllowing the oil. See my review of bulk pumpkin seed oil . .

I got the "salt lovers" variety, also referred to as "heavy sea salt" in their description and was disappointed. I would categorize this as "light salt" at best. Otherwise, good roasted seed flavor. (Pass the salt, please.)

This review is about the Jumbo Unsalted roasted seeds. They are definitely jumbo! Nice, big seeds...fun to eat. I ordered the Jumbo size to try after loving every bite of the bag of regular size unsalted roasted seeds from Gerbs. The regular size were delicious, buttery, and crunchy enough to satisfy the munchies, but the jumbo size seeds just don't taste as good to me. I don't know if they're from a different variety of pumpkin, or if they're roasted a bit too long or something, but they don't have the flavor I got used to with the regular size seeds. I'll be going back to the regular size unsalted roasted seeds after I finish this bag of the jumbo seeds.

Yes, they are very spicy. Unfortunately, they don't have much flavor. A bit of salt and toasting would've been great.

Disappointing. These seeds were not completely roasted and had little to no flavor, including any semblance of salt. The seeds were very moist and chewy and very lackluster in the flavor department. In order to make them more enjoyable I roasted them in the oven for a couple more hours at 200 degrees with a coating of salt and spices. To be fair, I also purchased "sea salt" seeds which I found were much more flavorful and roasted to a more crisp consistency. I have several other flavors of these products on order for delivery next week and am hopeful they'll be better than what I experienced with these.

I was expecting a salt level more akin to that of Bigs Lightly Salted. What I ended up getting were seeds that felt barely salted at all.The pepper was definitely still there though, and the seeds were roasted well....but that lack of salt left me a bit disappointed.

I am very particular about pumpkin seeds, and these weren't up to my standards. Seeds were also stale, and not very salty. Looks like I'll have stick to gutting many pumpkins for my own fresh seeds and cooking them myself.

These are quality pumpkin seeds, but they are too salty for my taste. Had to throw them out since no one I know eats them.

I've eaten many a pumpkin seeds. I didn't think these were all that great. When you try to bite them to take the shell off, they quickly crack and you have to throw it away (unless you're the type that likes to eat the shell and all). Well, I don't and it seems like 3 in 5 seeds I'm having to throw away.

I purchased the Spicy Habanero seeds and there is no flavor. It has spice on it but that its it. Its like someone just poured ground red pepper on them. Its really missing salt in my opinion. As for the spicy level I wouldn't say it was "habanero." Its a spice that builds so at first its not much but after snacking for a while you feel it. I eat a lot of spicy food and these weren't as spicy as I would have liked.Compared to Bigs pumpkin seeds these are thinner. I think it would be really hard to pop these open and try to eat just the seed inside. I found it really easy to eat them with the shell. I also eat Bigs pumpkin seeds with the shell if that gives you a reference. I'm giving them a 2 star since they are edible and they are the type you can eat with the shell which is what I wanted. They however taste like nothing and I had to add my own spices and salt to them to give them flavor. I would not purchase these again.

I gave this product a two star "I don't like" rating but I do like parts of this product. First I don't like the chewy texture of the seeds and I will not buy again because of the toughness but I do like the taste. The saltiness is perfect. I chew the seeds but eventually have to spit out the husk. I admit this is my first purchase of Pumpkin seeds. I would like to be able to eat the whole seed shell and all. It seems to me seeds from less mature pumpkins would work better.

These were not very good. My 8 and 9 year old boys and I love Trader Joe's roasted pumpkin seeds, so I thought these would be the same. They were not. The salt amount was good but the seeds themselves were tough and the shells were chewy. The boys wouldn't eat them. I forced myself to, only because I bought so much and didn't want to waste them. I did end up throwing some away. -Stick to Trader Joe's. Although TJ's are a bit salty, they are so much better than these.

Maybe it work a little but doesn't seems to do much as I would expect.

No difference between salt lovers and lightly salted or salted......I came from lightly salted looking for more salt and you guy forgot the salt. More than that this bag seems to be too roasted, taste like burned.

What a disappointment... I've been eating another Big Brand for years, and well, compared to those, these stink!They claim 'Lightly Salted', I see none and taste none.Weird smell.Most are chewy, not crunchy.Most are stuck in clusters of 2 or 3 seeds.Very little taste beyond 'chewy something or other'.Very disappointed.. save your money and order another Brand

I wish I could have given a better review, but the seeds were slightly over roasted and had very little pumpkin seed taste. I honestly don't care how they are prepared or how healthy they are, taste is what is important for snack foods.I don't know how to do a follow up, but these seeds are terrible. I had to throw away most all of them. they were burnt to the point where so bad I could not eat them.

Overkill on the heat. Use this to break your addiction to pumpkin seeds.

Ironic that the "heavily salted" seeds had not one grain of salt in the bag.....but the chipotle seeds are bags of basically loose seasoning mixed with seeds. Chipotle flavor this is not, its the worst flavor imaginable. Every one of my friends did not fail to spit these out with a horrified look on their face, almost saying "is this a prank?" And if you try to get a refund from this inedible product they will make you pay the shipping to return them. SUPER FAIL as a product and as a company. Good day

I've noticed no effects beyond a lighter wallet.

I was using this for a while before I began noticing some negative side effects. I noticed that my heart rate slowed down so much that it felt like my heartbeat had skipped and my heart was having trouble functioning. I also had trouble breathing. I'll go back to eating raw pumpkin seeds.
