This thing works great!!

I use this to steep my e-juice and clean my tanks and drippers, works great. I wish it had the heating function, but pre-heating the water in the microwave works great with this cleaner. the e-liquid tastes like it has steeped a couple weeks after running the bottles through 5/5min. cycles and letting them sit 24 hrs. highly recommended for vapers.

i ordered this to make liposomal vit c, i choose this model because its not supposed to use heat, but the model that arrived at my door was actually 3818B and this model does use heat :( very disappointing

I love this thing - I bought it to clean small engine carb parts, but it gets used for all kinds of things now.Tip: to keep the unit clean, put the item to be cleaned in a zip-lock baggie with the cleaning solution. Drop the baggy in the cleaner and fill with water to the indicated marks. Distilled water is best, but but anything is better than letting the crud settle in your new cleaner.

I purchased this to clean my knives and Leatherman tools. Works like a charm. My concern with knife care/cleaning, is all the joints and crevices that collect dirt that you just can't get to without taking things apart. This unit does what I expected an ultrasonic cleaner to do. You can see satisfying little puffs of debris coming free from the knife/tool joints, kinda like miniature volcanoes. Neat. You can really tell that it's working after 3-4 knives; water was very dirty and had to change it out.Size is probably a little smaller than most expect, but was the largest size I could find at this price point. Leatherman Charge fits perfectly and is able to handle my folders.I use warm water and a little squirt of dish soap. Works great.Now, this is not a daily use item. I used this off and on for 3 days cleaning everything I could fit in to the bin and had one hiccup. At one point it simply stopped working and the display went a little wonky. Concerned and thinking I got a lemon, I unplugged it and let it sit for 10-20 minutes. Plugged it back in, and everything was normal. Turns out, if you read the instructions (which are a little cryptic) there is a duty cycle to this thing. X amount of time running to Y amount of time off. I think, in my excitement, that I exceeded the duty cycle. Anyway, worked fine after a rest.Instructions are a little cryptic and lacking, but the concept is rather self-explanatory. Tub does not lift out so water changes are a little pain, but not a big deal at this price point.So far, so good. I kept the box for storage and will break it out in another 6 months or so and go through my cleaning routine. We'll see if it still works.-------Update-Dec 2014:Still works as advertised. I take it out of the box every 3-6 months to run odds and ends through.------Update-March 2017This thing still working, adding another star!

It's just what I needed. The timer goes up to 480 seconds (8-minutes). The tank capacity is 2.5-cups, whereas the other small machines I looked at are only 2-cups. The only thing I wish the manufactureres of these machines would make is a removeable tank for easy emptying and cleaning.I highly recommend the Kendal Ultrasonic machine.

Wow. First time I tried using a cleaning solution with my ultrasonic cleaner. It made my gold, diamond and gemstone jewelry sparkle. I used to work in the jewelry biz years ago, so I take very good care of my jewelry and keep them clean. I've tried all the tricks I knew and somehow I could never get my diamond and gemstone jewelry to sparkle. 3 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner, some water with a capful of this cleaner was all it took. Again, WOW! The water actually turned slightly gray and there were teeny black bits floating around. Seriously, I keep my jewelry very clean, so I was thoroughly impressed. Makes gold jewelry shine, as well. 2 bottle price is awesome. This will last a really long time. Thanks!

Works really well in my ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, keeps my wife's valuables cleaner longer, and gets them cleaner to begin with (instead of just using water). We use it with different colors of gold, and silver, and some stainless/faux with great success.

Works great in my Generic Sonic Wave CD-2800 Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner. I use a cap full in warm water in the unit and it makes my rings, watchbands, glasses, everything sparkling clean and shiny looking. The nice thing about it is that you don't have to scrub like you would with using just some dawn dishwashing liquid soap in the machine. This stuff is concentrated and the bottle will last me a year.

The jewelry cleaner works great and everything I cleaned with it looks so much brighter. I am very pleased with this product. Thanks I am also using this to clean my coins with as well and sometimes you have to clean them more than once. but it does help.

I ordered this at the same time I ordered an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. I used the solution on my first try on some of my rings and earrings and everything turned out great! You use 4 capfuls of the solution to 1 full little bin of water in the cleaning machine. When I pulled everything out, it was clean and shiny, I dabbed dry with a towel and was good to go!

This is the third cleaner I've tried for my copper bracelet. Even on a 10 minute cycle, the others could never get the tarnish off. I was about to give up. Because of reasons I won't bore you with, I won't use the clear nail polish trick to keep my copper from contacting my skin. My wrist turns green every day, I don't care. What I do care about is a tarnished bracelet. Plus, I can cut the time in half on my ultrasonic cleaner. I hope Amazon never drops this product. I'll be pretty sad that day.

Good product. I use it strictly for making Liposomal/Lypospheric Vitamin C. The sound waves cause the ingredients to be encapsulated over two full cycles in turn, the vitamin C isn't destroyed in the stomach; going right to your small intestine and 93+% of the Vitamin C is entered into the blood stream. I like the blue LED lights and is easy to use while being light weight.

Very good product. Using it to clean my airbrush components. It's a little small for my needs, but it does an excellent job, so I'm making it work!

Bought this cleaner without too much expectation. The first couple of times that I cleaned my jewelry, I found that my items weren't coming out as clean others had stated. However, I found that the items come out a whole lot cleaner if I put soapy water in the container instead of just plain water. I was so pleased to see how clean everything got, I ended up cleaning my best friend's jewelry just to see the "before and after".

I really like this cleaner. I wear metal framed glasses and it's very difficult to clean around the nose pads. With this ultrasonic cleaner my glasses come out looking really clean. It even gets the dirt and facial oils from between the frame and the lenses. I would recommend this cleaner to anyone who finds it difficult to get their glasses clean

Bought this because price was reasonable. I used it immediately when it arrived and it worked beautiful. Only downfall was there are no handles or anything to grab to remove the basket . Husband used zip ties to make it easier to remove.

This cleaner works very well, but be careful. If you mix it according to the directions on the bottle, I found it to be too strong. It took the foil right off of some of my rhinestones.

I used this cleaner with my new Magnasonic ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. It worked pretty well cleaning jewelry, coins and silverware, noticeably better than water alone.

Seems to work, but mixing directions seem unclear to me. It says 1 cap to 5 caps of water. But how does that translate to cleaning basin. So if someone figures out how many caps to the Magnasonic Professional Ultrasonic jewelery cleaner basin, I would appreciate it. Maybe if i feel ambitious i will measure it out.

Used today on lightly soiled rings and bracelets in my ultrasonic cleaner. Some white gold, some sterling silver, some diamonds, some CZ. Everything sparkled, and light tarnish was removed. Did need to do a final buff with tarnish remover cloth to bring the silver to its best, but if I was in a hurry, this would have sufficed. Don't know how it would work on heavily tarnished items.

Have gone through 2 bottles in past few months. Cleaning about a pound of silver jewelry which was some kind of dirty! I like the mix to be strong as my sonic cleaner is a bit on the weak side and times out at 8 minutes. I try not to overload the basket. When water is dirty, I will change with new solution and clean water and repeat for whatever still needs it. In steel shot in a tumbler it works quite well. I will add that sometimes - with both methods, I may add a drop of Blue Dawn detergent. Overkill maybe, but it works for me.

The ultrasound jewelry cleaner needed this cleaner concentrate. Without this concentrate, the ultrasound unit only shined the jewelry. Using the combination of ultrasound jewelry cleaning unit with this cleaner concentrate this product enabled me to renew my sterling silver chain and rings. Si ce my chain was quite tarnished, I needed to run the ultrasound a few times.

A little small for doing the whole recipe for making vitamin C solution that gets absorbed through the stomach wall.

I have not used this product yet, mainly because of the size. I have enough items on my bathroom sink.

Not a deep cleaner, but gets the job done quickly if jewelry needs surface cleaning in ten seconds or less.

Didn't clean as expected I will try again and let all know.

Nothing special, pick it up at Walmart or a jewelry store of your driving by. I purchased on Amazon during regular lazy shopping

The cleanser is fine. The bottle shipped with no cap though. It was only the safety seal that kept it from leaking out.

Great product. Packing from amazon was bad though, cap was missing and product leaked out.

Purchased this product because it was rated high and I needed something stronger than what came with my ultrasonic cleaner. Using this with the ultrasonic cleaner worked OK. It worked well on some pieces (earring ear wires, small charms & beads, small chain, etc.) and others turned completely black (larger items: big chain, large pendants, etc.). The items that turned black, I tried to clean again and still nothing. Also, I found I had to use more of the product than recommended for all the items. I do have a lot of jewelry to clean as I make jewelry almost daily. I probably will not use again since it was just so-so. I did have to use my silver cloth on every piece after cleaning and rinsing as a way to dry and get the remainder of the tarnish off. Now I'm looking for a new cleaner to use with my ultrasonic cleaner. I will try this with my tumbler for the pieces that turned black to see if that will clean the items. Somewhat disappointed with product after reading all the reviews. Open to suggestions anyone...

Too weak.

I had to take this thing apart to make it work. I needed it "now" and just didn't have the time or energy to send it back. The inner workings are now outside in front so I can wiggle the wires to make them connect properly so the machine can work as it should. Pain in the neck!! We tend to say there's a "short" in the wiring, when what we usually mean is that there is an "open." Whatever, this thing has sloppy wiring. The problem is an open. Cheaply made. And it does generate ultrasonic vibrations, but I've seen stronger.

Worked great for a while, then the start button started getting intermittent. I can get it to turn on only by repeatedly pressing the button. It turns on about one in twenty times now.

I bought this unit with the expectation that it would work really well. I followed all the recommended cleaning instructions, and when I cleaned a ring of mine per the directions, it looked as if it was never cleaned. Wiping the ring down with a soft cloth made the ring sparkle more, but I could still see the build-up on the stones and in-between the stones. I am not sure if a good ring cleaner and a small soft brush wouldn't accomplish the same job.

Doesn't seem to clean any better than dish liquid, but even that doesn't really clean my platinum jewelry very well at all.

Extremely disappointed. Came without a screw-on cap. Just a tin foil covering.

Save your money, i learned from a diamond dealer that the best thing to use is windex.I have used this cleaner in my ultra sonic cleaner it was just ok, but my diamond shines a lot more when cleaned with Windex.I place my ring in windex, i use a toothbrush for a little bit on all the sides then turn the ultrasonic cleaner on.I do 2 cycles and the ring comes out sparkling.

Got my diamonds pretty but it didn't get my other Stones clean

I used as directed in my ultrasonic cleaner - 4 capfuls diluted with water in the basket. Left it on for 5 minutes - nothing. I doubled the concentration and tried it again for 5 minutes - nothing. The earrings were silver, tarnished, but not badly. Blitz did not work on them. I finally got out the Tarn-X and it worked. Can't recommend Blitz..

Never worked well, and after 10 months of VERY light use, it stopped working entirely. I'm going to look for a replacement, but it won't be a Kendal.

I had this machine for about 6 months, till it completely trashed. the first to break was the key pad in the front, that happened at 2 weeks. then a few weeks later the lid broke off. finally a hole developed in the steel. nothing i cleaned was in direct contact with the steel, i always used the basket. I'm guessing that there was either a flaw in the steel or the transducer.

I have no problem with seller, problem is with merchandise. Kendal Large Digital Ultrasonic Cleaner for Jewelry Watch DVD with 750ml tank 3818 just stopped working 2 weeks after the cutoff for return. Arrived 09/19 died 11/05. Didn't last 2 months with very light use. You should be able to have at least 60 days to return defective items. This item is not something you use everyday.

It quit working after a week. The transducer that produces the ultrasonic waves is garbage and not repairable or salvageable.

It worked maybe a few hours then stopped working. Turns on, lights and timer works but nothing else. Can't return as I tossed the packaging.

Just opened the jewelry cleaner that came in the mail yesterday. Extremely irritated! The foil seal is on the bottle, but there is no cap, cover, lid or anything else to close the bottle once I peel the foil off! Seriously??!! What genius put this in the package is mailed it off? Just one more reason to use your brick and mortar stores I guess.

Could use some help here. I cannot get this stuff to even clear a single spoon or silver chain. I follow the directions and turned on the machine time after time. Nothing happens. Any suggestions of what I may be doing wrong?

This is a concentrate only, for a special jewelry cleaning machine, it looks like it's not actually a jewelry cleaner. Don't waste your money.

Did not work in the ultra sonic cleaner. Bought a speed brite maching and gem sparkle cleaner instead. works alot better

This product doesn't seem to work any better in an ultrasonic cleaner than water does. I kept a necklace in mine for over 30 minutes and it came out not looking any better than before it went in. Don't waste your money.
