Love this slide!
May 4, 2016
My two year old daughter loves this slide. We have it on the grass in our backyard now, but originally purchased it to use with an inflatable pool ball pit. It was perfect and loved by all the kids at her second birthday party.
It's sturdier then what it looks like. Another plus was the distance of the slide ...

Item came quickly and as described. I was hesitant in getting this but many reviewers did note that it's not as flemsy as it looks. My one deicding factor was that someone had mentioned they could put sand in the footers to keep it stabled if they just didn't feel it was stable enough. Putting it together took me maybe 15 minutes (and only because I had put the black strap underneath the wrong way at first). I unfortunatly don't have much level ground so after I found a spot in the yard that wasn't as sloped I put it there... tested it by steping up on the steps and rocking it. Reviewers were right.... it does rock a little with me but that's with my strength.... when my 2 year old granddaughter walks up it... it doesn't rock at all and that's without sand put in the footers. It's sturdier then what it looks like.Another plus was the distance of the slide itself. It wasn't as tall as I thought it was going to be (which is fine for me... keeps me from panicking when she's climbing up) but long enough to actually feel like you are sliding. Love the idea of being able to easily fold it and store in garage. Both she and I love it!
Perfect for 2 yo +
February 12, 2014
We wanted to give my daughter something for her to be active with since she scales the house furniture. This is hands down perfect. My tot is a bit taller for her age and I didn't want to spend money on something that was going to be outgrown shortly. This will last her years. My 12yo and 10 yo (albeit big) were still able to get some slide action - so I know it will last us, which was one of my req's. It's a solid stable slide. No tilting or rocking. I read reviews about kids tripping on the stability legs: my tot did that twice, but only because she was so excited and in a hurry to get back around. It wasn't a hard enough fall to hurt her though. All i did was show her how to go around those and she does. They really aren't that bad. If you're worried about a clumsy kid tripping, just make sure it's soft ground around the legs (like grass or foam padding, free of rock or debris). The bump in slide is in the right spot for toddler stability - toward the top of the slide (instead of middle or end). We use a bean bag at the end of slide when on a hard surface and will place up against our kiddie pool this summer. I'm extremely satisfied with this slide.
Huge hit with my 22 month old, it provides active fun indoors for the winter.
November 17, 2013
I purchased this for my 22 month old son, and he consistently plays with it for an hour or so each day. It's high enough to keep him entertained day after day, and he's always finding new ways to play with it.Facts:The seat at the top of the slide is 33.5" above the ground. The sides around the seat are 8.5" high. The footprint of the slide is 38.5" wide by 63" long.Installation requires that you install the black support (2 nuts and 2 bolts), and the feet (2 screws).Installation:Installation was pretty straightforward. It's slightly challenging to get the bolt through the plastic holes since it doesn't line up exactly right, and the holes have some left over plastic in them. My suggestion is to flip the bolt over to the other side if you're having trouble, and it should go right in. The feet just slide on and are then secured with a long screw. It's easier if you have a drill to handle this part, but not necessary.Experience:My son loves it. We use it indoors and we bought it in order to help all us of survive being indoors for the majority of the winter. With the slide he can be active while indoors, and he's always finding new ways to play with it. We currently have it set up where the steps are set up against the couch, and there is a big dog bed at the bottom of the slide. The sides feel sufficiently high enough where I'm not concerned that he'll ever fall off one side or the other, my only concern is that he will fall backwards (which is where the couch comes into play). The exit of the slide is elevated so he can put his feet down and stand up when he reaches the bottom. He plays other games with it such as rolling balls/toys down it while I sit at the bottom rolling them back up to him.It stores easily, and I feel comfortable leaving it out on the balcony in the elements. The only downside is that it has some sharp edges where it looks like the plastic is molded together. I used a dremel to smooth them down.
Better than I thought it would be.
February 25, 2012
Just got this slide on 2/25/2012 from Amazon. Was a bit disappointed because it wasn't shipped Prime 2-day, so I/we had to wait a few more days...Although, it was worth the wait, since my 2 year old loves it and it's the perfect size (About 4 feet in the air). Not too big but not too small. It could be a bit dangerous if the child stands up on top, so parental supervision is required 100% on this item but it is great in the winter for a little exercise of running around and climbing of the steps. Not sure why but STEP 2 decided to make it the parents responsibility to assemble the little latch on the slide seen in the photo. This is kind of a 10-minute pain but not overly troublesome. This is perfect becuase instead of spending $900 on the entire playground I have individual playground equipment sections that can be carried indoors in the winter at a much cheaper price.-Ed
Step2 Naturally Playful Folding Slide vs Little Tikes version
June 9, 2010
My brother has had this Little Tikes EasyStore Large Slide for quite a few years now, with his 3 daughters using it all summer long. It has held up very well and all his girls still love it. (Ages are 7, 4, and 2.) In the summer months, they will put the end of the slide in a little pool for some water fun. The slide is very stable and large enough for even their very tall 7 year old. While I really liked this slide, I had been comparing it to the Step2 Naturally Playful Folding Slide and trying to see which was better based on reviews. Very difficult as they are very much the same.I ended up ordering the Step2 version and I'm very happy with it. There are a few differences that I have noticed.Little Tikes stability wings at the bottom of the stairs is somewhat flat, but enough for little ones to trip when not paying attention racing to the stairs. The Step2 version has angled wings that have to be put together with the staircase with a couple of screws - it says to screw them in with a screwdriver, but I was unable to do this. The wings slide on and stay there unless you lift up the slide to move it, but I'll leave putting the screws in to my mechanically inclined husband so I don't wreck it.Little Tikes steps seemed to give a little more than my Step2 slide. This may be due to the fact that my brother's Little Tikes version is a few years old and my Step2 is brand new, I'm not sure.Little Tikes top of the stairs handle is a little shorter than the Step2 version, but not a big deal.Little Tikes slide has a slight curve/bump in the slide halfway down, while the Step2 version has the curve/bump right at the beginning.Little Tikes end of the slide has a slight lift, but my nieces and daughter would still fall forward on a fast slide down. The Step2 version has a lot more lift and my 2.5 year old daughter really appreciates it and doesn't fall forward nearly as much. The Little Tikes dark brown and burgundy is nice as is the Step2's medium brown and grass green. I think I like the brown and green better, but that's just my opinion. The Little Tikes version seems to be a little lighter in weight than the Step2 Naturally Playful one. I had a harder time lugging the Step2 around than I did the Little Tikes. They both fold easily and can store on the wall in the garage when not in use which is awesome. Being able to store it somewhere out of the way will definitely keep the slide in great condition for years!Overall, both great slides and lots of fun. The slide length for both is about 58 inches long. They both stand about 40 inches high (top of handrail to the ground).**** 2014 update ****We still love this slide! I've been TERRIBLE about putting it away, despite the fact that it can be folded and stored easily, so it's been outside 24/7, all year long since we got it. It's still in excellent condition. It hasn't faded, even with our southern facing, hotter than heck in the summertime yard it sits in. It hasn't cracked, even with the pretty cold winters with snow and ice. Very pleased with such a high quality product. My now 6.5 year old still likes it every now and then, but she does prefer taller, twistier, longer slides at parks/playgrounds over this one now and it isn't getting used much at the moment. Our 1 year old enjoys it a lot with our help, though it is still much too big for her to be playing on solo.

So much fun!
September 21, 2017
Provided you have 2 people, assembly is quick but difficult. Inserting the metal rod connecting the slide to the ladder requires one person to push the plastic parts tightly together and another person to cap both ends of the rod.Other than that, this slide is fantastic! I love that it folds for storage! Five stars!
Yay! Awesome slide/pool fun!

My 2 yr old had a blast today with his new slide. The other slide I bought him was way to small and his friends could fit either ( American Plastic Toys ) . This one was easy to put together and everyone enjoyed it. He can actually grow into it! Wish I would have bought this one the first go round!
Little Tikes Out Did Themselves!!! Read Full Review Please! God Bless!
February 4, 2016
(2-4-2016) To Little Tikes Corp & Customers: My wonderful 2 1/2year old LOVES SLIDES, we spent majority of last summer; I'm talking about 6-8hour days, 3-4 days a week; at the best community park here in SE Fort Wayne Indiana. My Nycelina would spend about 10% of her valuable time weating and snacking, 5% resting her little body by my side (including poddy breaks), and 85% of her time on the multiple variety of slides available...once she discovered playground slides it was all over with ... Indoors, she would place pillows or use her mattress to slang from the couch to the floor... And she would do her best sliding down on her makeshift slide... Since Christmas I have been searching for a toddler slide that could be indoors or outdoors...from step 2 to alpine ridge, American plastic as well as YOURS TRULY: Little Tikes. I knew adventually I would "bite the bullet" and pay the outrageous price of 50$-200$ on a slide for my Nycelina. However I was not expecting to do it so soon! When I saw my daughter sliding her cinnioman toast crunch cereal pieces down slides on the back of the box ...I knew the time to purchase was now. However, $100.00 or more is hard for anyone in the lower middle class, single motherville, to spend on a single slide, I mean the 9-5 job barely covers bills..so buying a luxury is "priceless" to us....WITH THAT SAID!!!! FELLOW PURCHASERS...THIS SLIDE IS WORTH EVERY DIME SPENT AND THEN SOME! The plastic is durable and so far has been able to endure the wrath of an energetic toddler PLUS her three ROUGH HOUSING BOY COUSINS! The slide itself was not difficult to put together once I read the directions (and had a man to help me; little me couldn't hack it)...and I truly believe if my daughter could sleep on it she would! Non stop fun for my daughter, her stuffed animals and her cousins..OKAY I ADMIT IT, MYSELF INCLUDED.. (Product weigh limit is 75lbs; I am a little less than 120lbs)... I had to make sure it was safe, other involved energetic mommies will understand ;)... The SLIDES SLOPE is wonderful for an indoor/outdoor piece .... My daughter is 32 inches in length and I would not suggest paying for a smaller slide for a toddlers first slide in general... TODDLERS GROW SO FAST..SO WHY SPEND AROUND $60+tax/shipping for a FIRST TODDLER SLIDE YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO REPLACE IN A YEAR DUE TO YOUR CHILD OUTGROWING IT? That was my first thought when I looked at the smaller version of the slide ... Now that it's all said and done with, I am glad I rationalize this in my mind and bought what I consider to be the wiser choice of the toddler slides now that is all said and done with...... She would not have as much fun sliding down a slide that was less than a foot to the ground once she sat on it... The bigger slide offers my daughter so much more joy and thrills not to mention the slide offers my toddler room to grow and still enjoy the slide for months and months to come .... COMPLETELY WORTH THE EXTRA 30-40$...Little Tikes was the brand that I went with because of the durable plastic that their product is made of. And most of all, the fact that it is not an Overwhelming Big and Bulky product for the indoors!.... It actually fits quite nice in our small/moderate home without looking tacky. I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR CUSTOMERS WITH 1-3 YOUNGER CHILDREN... Please Note that between my sister and myself, we buy multiple brands and multiple toys for our children to have at home and at the grandparents homes...combine us and you have an entire toys r us for our total of 4 children...ages 2, 2 1/2, 4, and 6.. One girl (my baby) and her three boys!! Both genders LOVE THIS SLIDE AND HAVE HOURS AND HOURS OF FUN... BOTH SUPERVISED AND MODERATE SUPERVISION (not hovering)....This toddler slide has Wide Steps and Easy Grip Plastic to stop themselves from going to fast if they wish as well as the ability to be climbing up the steps to the platform to sit on with ease...This Specific Little Tikes Product Absolutely Exceeded My Expectations.... LASTLY TO AMAZON.COM, Thank you so much for FREE SHIPPING, FAST SERVICES AND DELIVERY!! Your company is always wonderful though :)
Perfect for toddlers!!; WARNING though, Wasps like to nest under steps near hook
March 31, 2015
Assembly by myself was fairly easy, except for one aggravating step, which was getting the ladder to fit snug in the base. Once assembled, the slide is very sturdy. Most important Pros:--The steps are easy for a toddler to climb, thanks to the built-in handrail/extended sides. My son has never fallen while climbing up, even though he's always in a rush to get back up those steps.--Perfect size for a 2-3 year old. Big enough to feel adventurous, yet small enough to feel comfortable that even if he did misstep and fall off, he wouldn't be too bad off when landing.Cons:--????, no cons I can think of, which is a rarity for me...--However, I will note as a WARNING to others, that yesterday when leaning down to pick up a football that rolled under the slide, I noticed a wasp's nest tucked up underneath the 2nd step from the top, by where the arm hooks to the steps (picture included). It's a perfect place for the wasps, but thankfully an easy place to spray. My 2-year old had been playing on the slide minutes earlier, thankfully temps were just cool enough to keep the wasps lethargic.(That's the reason I am posting this review. Hopefully someone will read this and check and find a nest under their steps, and if it prevents one toddler from being stung, then it was worth my time!!)
LOVE THIS!
June 3, 2014
I have a 3yr old who is tall for his age and I got this because it is more sturdy and will last longer then the other ones. It is the perfect height and I love that I can store it in my son's closet (we live in a condo so no grass). Yes it is bit big to store there, but I would rather have a big slide that works and is fun then a tiny one that doesn't. Great product! Very pleased! No problems with it at all! Definitely worth the money.
Perfect for my little guy!
September 16, 2013
This slide is pretty great. I have one on my deck that I bought used and one in the house for rainy days! We sometimes put a wading pool with pit balls in it at the bottom, for added excitement. THe slide is easy to fold and move around once assembled and easy to clean. It's made of plastic so wont be devastating if your little one knocks their head, arms or legs on it. I like this lively green and blue color combo. Just a note, the slide that I have outside has some stuff inside the slide portion and had collected water in it. I don't know if that's because of the way it was stored before I purchased it, but I would suggest that if keeping it outdoors, keep it upright, don't fold it and leave it outside for water to get in.

Great for use in a large basement!
June 13, 2014
We set this up in our basement and it's the perfect size for kids aged 18 months-7. That is a large range of ages but it's true! We have all kinds of kids in our basement have a blast on this thing. We set up a huge bean bag at the bottom and they love landing on it. The reason I rated it 4 stars is that I think it's a little over priced. I think it should be about $75. I know they would still make a boatload of money off of it at that price.
Great for ages 1-3
June 4, 2014
This slide was very easy to put together and it is light enough for me to move around on my own (I am a grandmother). The only issue I have is that my 3 year old grandson is really almost too old for it as it is not very high. It is perfect for my 1 year old grandaughter (with assistance from an adult) and I think it will be awesome for the 3 year old in the kiddy pool this summer when the 1 year old is not there.
Its Ok.
May 27, 2014
This is a great slide for the price the only thing was when I went to put it together the bolts that they give you don't match up to the holes that are drilled into the hard plastic. I had to go to the hardware store and get a longer bolt just so that I could put this together for my granddaughter's 2nd Birthday Party. Other than that it seems great.
Sturdy!
November 7, 2013
Two years later, and we still have (& play with) this slide! We use it both indoor & out. It was a good buy for us. My 4 yr old is now mostly just interested in letting small cars roll down it, but my 2 yr old still loves going down the slide. I would say this is mostly for the 2-4 year range. Any younger and they can easily fall backwards if no one is there to help with every climb, and older than 4 they might quickly lose interest. Great slide though!
Great for a growing toddler
May 20, 2013
This slid is great! I have a 2.5 year old that loves to slide on this from the time she wakes up to the time she goes to bed. It is a great height and is very easy to fold up if needed. It is the perfect slide for a growing toddler, it gives them enough height and speed and there is a good sized lip on the end so they can land on their feet unlike some of the other slides available. I would highly recommend this slide to anyone and it was very worth the cost. The shipping of this product was extremely frustrating, it go lost in transit and then once a replacement came the original showed up in shambles. This box is not small by any means and having to lug it back to UPS was frustrating. I really wish Amazon would give you a choice of which carrier you want to ship with.
Great Slide!
November 4, 2012
My 18 month old son loves this slide! It was very easy to put together, and doesn't have any sharp points or places where he can get hurt. I read several reviews on different slides, and most have a very steep slide which was a common complaint. This one is at a great angle for him and it is close enough to the ground for him to learn to land without getting hurt. The only things I do NOT like is the angle of the stairs, it is hard for him to climb because it is steep and difficult to hang on. The second thing is at the top there isn't much room for him to put his feet through to sit on his bottom...a transition from stairs to slide. But with that said, I would still recommend this slide to friends.

A "big kid" slide for our 2.5 year old
June 22, 2017
We bought this for our daughter (2.5) to use in the house, because she had outgrown her infant climbing structure with a tiny slide. At first I was a little bit nervous about the way she stood straight up at the top and then had to crouch down to get into sliding position, but she gained confidence quickly, and so did I. This slide is pretty fast, which she loves. It's nice that it folds flat, but it does take some force to get it into/out of the locked position. A rubber mallet is helpful. I think we'll take it outside this summer and let her slide into her inflatable pool and then maybe slide into the leaves in the fall. I think she will enjoy it for a few years!
Fun and Sturdy
April 11, 2017
Bought it for our granddaughter for Christmas. She was only one year old, but we could place her at the top and hold her while she slide down. Now she is about 15 months, and she can climb the ladder and mostly seat herself and slide down. I see she will get better with time. We went with the larger size so she could use it longer, and she's the active sort. The men put it together, and only had trouble getting the bottom of the ladder into the plastic base. They had to really slam it several times, and I thought they were going to break it. It seems fine though...but wow!
Something worth having
February 6, 2017
Was a challenge to assemble, needs someone heavy step on first step with both feet for a while while other person works on getting the ladder in base. Otherwise so wonderful to have.
A solid purchase
January 12, 2016
We ordered this slide for an active toddler. While somewhat pricier than other plastic slides in stores, it was worth the extra cost as we were looking for something that could grow with our child, beyond the toddler years. Many of the slides we looked at were too small or would be outgrown quickly. The extra height is worth it! The slide itself is a little narrower than anticipated however the outer ridges are appreciated for a younger child. The slide gives you an opening to add water to weigh it down but is fairly sturdy without. While there wasn't too much required for assembly beyond snapping the the large pieces together, it did take the weight of two adults to get the stairs clipped in to the base. Once that was done, however, the rest of the assembly took about 5 minutes. All in all, this slide is a purchase our whole family is happy about.
Great purchase, a few unexpected things though
June 8, 2015
I love this slide and so does my 2 year old daughter. The size is true to picture. It's nice that it's collapsible but as amazing of a feature as I expected. I thought I'd be putting it up and down a lot more than I do in actuality. Even all the way collapsed it's super bulky, definitely takes up more space than expected, but at the same time, a lot of slides don't collapse so you're getting a nice feature. Additionally, the platform for the steps is a LOT wider than shown. I thought the little green stabilizers sticking out from the bottom of the ladder were about as wide as the slide part or a litle wider. In fact they're about 2 times as wide as the slide piece, I'm guessing close to 3 feet wide. So the ladder side takes up quite a bit of real estate. The little lock between the ladder and the slide probably is a good feature, but randomly I'll walk by and mine is popped out. Not sure if it majorly affects the safety. Based on the design I don't see how it's popping out, but it is. 30 seconds is all it takes to fix it.Also, be careful when building. You have to thread a metal pipe through the ladder and slide part and then you put this little red cap things and hammer with a special tool to "squeeze" the pieces together for a permanent togetherness. I accidentally got one of bracket pieces pushed too far in and now the protective red cover doesn't stay on. Not a huge deal, but it's definitely a little less safe with the exposed metal pipe.
Very nice

The kids are very happy with the slide. Pitty that I am old and fat to use that nice slide

Decent but is molding on the inside
December 18, 2014
We bought this for my two year old about a year ago. It is a great sized free standing slide and it has been easy for my son to climb up since he was 18 months old. We do have it outside and while it still looks decent and is easy to clean, it holds water on the interior. In the summer, it smells faintly of mold and mildew, which is a little gross. It rains a lot where we live, but it was under the canopy of a lot of trees so I was surprised to notice it was holding on to water. As my son has been older, this slide isn't big enough to hold his attention, so I would not recommend it for a child older than two, unless you have limited park and playground access!
I really wanted to love this, but it's not as safe as I had hoped!
December 10, 2014
The platform on the top of this slide is very narrow, and I'm always scared our 2 year old (almost 3 now) is going to fall. We got this for his 2nd birthday, and he rarely uses it, because he is scared he will fall too. He has fallen off of it twice, but just got a bump on his head-- nothing too bad. I gave it 3 stars, because he is a cautious child so others may not have the same problem. I would just make sure to put it in an open, carpeted area or outside in an open, grassy area or area with lots of mulch.
A bit dissapointing
October 31, 2013
Pros:- very study and durable,- easy to install,- very high for the price and compared to other slidesCons:- The surface isn't smooth enough, it slows the movement.- It is very narrow on the top: my 19-month old son hardly fits in and he doesn't have enough place to comfortably sit down.- Rails are so thick that small kids can't grab them.
Annoyingly missing screw holes
May 11, 2010
The slide itself works just fine. There is literally only one step (repeated on each side) to set up the slide. This step entails screwing the triangular fixtures on the base of the ladder. Neither of my triangles had predrilled holes which was somewhat of a nuisance to fix. I don't want to pay almost [...] for an imperfect unit.EDIT (5/15/10): After waiting on the phone for about 20 minutes, I spoke with a customer service representative that told me that as of 2/10, they stopped pre-drilling holes due to the liability created when/if a child eats the shavings produced by the drill. I ended up taking a nail with a diameter less than the provided screws and tapped it through the thin layer of plastic to create holes. The screws then went on without a problem. Neither I nor the customer service representative could figure out why this wouldn't be pointed out in the manual. Hopefully they will change it soon.

Nice slide.

The slide is good except for the fact that the base did not connect too well.
was SUPER difficult to put the two green pieces together
March 3, 2017
Huge gash (cut) right in the middle of the slide. Also, was SUPER difficult to put the two green pieces together. needed two people for sure!
Edges not smooth for little hands
January 3, 2017
I bought this slide after reading reviews as it is listed as the #1 slide for preschoolers and toddlers. I was not very happy with the way slide looked when we took it out of the box. It was scratched up from barely fitting in the box it was in, wasn't in the original box not sure why?? Also, some of the molding along the edges of the slide in particular the top of the handles were really sharp. I sanded the rough edges before I let my little guy play on the slide and I'm putting foam tiles under it as it isn't the most stable slide around. Won't let my little one play on it without supervision. It's not fun to put together either if any of the moldings are off even just a little bit it's really a struggle to get the different parts into place. The kids love the slide, I just think it could be a lot better.
It's OK
December 30, 2016
There are inconsistencies in the thickness of the plastic from one side of the slide to the other. One side seemed very flexible. Also the mold lines are very sharp and can probably cut bare feet. You'll probably need to clean these up yourself because the manufacturer can't be bothered.Overall I think it was worth purchasing, but I'm not impressed with it.
Need a little diy skill to assemble
November 29, 2016
Came in a huge box, while trying to attach stairs to base is a problem as others also said. Directions is to slam it on the floor, tried to slam it on floor many times, it did not work. Ultimately the key is to heat base a little, I used a heat gun but you can use a hair dryer. Heated a little not for long or u will melt plastic. With one slam on the floor it went right in!
Good slide, but difficult assembly
July 18, 2014
The slide is great but assembly was a nightmare so I took away 1 star! For something with 4 pieces, I don't really understand why it has to be so difficult. This is not a 1 person job because the holes do not align easily at all. I was so frustrated with this thing I almost sent it back after trying to get the holes aligned for an hour. Luckily for my kids, I called a friend over to help hold it together so I could put it together. Even so, it took a few tries and we are not incompetent people. My 3 and 5 year olds love the slide though so I guess it was worth it.

The slide has some scratch when we get it
April 15, 2014
The box is broken when we get it. And the slide has some scratch on it. They did not wrap it with plastic bag or something else to protect it.
Slide is not that safe.
February 24, 2011
Just now my daughter fell on her back from the top of the slide. Thank God she's fine but it was a terrifying incident for us. She's just turned two and a champ at climbing but this slide has two major issues :1- At the ladder portion, the sides are too wide for her hands to grab hold onto when climbing up. Even when she reaches the top, there's no good niches to grab hold of.2 - The top portion is narrow and it's hard for her to swing her other leg over once she sits down. She's about 45% percentile in weight and height.Other than that, it is built solidly and it's easy to fold away once we don't use it. But I would suggest to put foam all around the slide or place this indoors on a carpeted area.

This item was very poorly constructed. The holes for the connecting pole to go through were not lined up properly and we had to cut them larger to get the product assembled. I do not recommend this product
Awful to put together but great once you do

Like many other reviews this was nearly impossible to put togerher because of a defect. After two adults trying for an hour we brought in grandpa. He cut an additional hole in the base to get the stairs to fit and finally got it to work. Now it's fantastic. It seems hit or miss if you get a regular or defective one. Amazons options are basically exchange or refund. Trying to take it apart to get back in the box would have been awful. So basically if you buy this do it with enough time to send it back if there is something wrong. Otherwise it's a nice tall slide. It's not slick so the kids don't go down super quick like the smaller slides. But my two year old still likes it.
Good Luck!

1st off I returned it for the following reasons. The base would not stay on it. There was no written instructions only pictures that was a little confusing. I am a 59 year old female who can read and write so they should have had written instructions to go along with the illustrations. They claim it to be a large slide for ages 2 - 8 years old. Well my grand child is 2 1/2 and weights 30 pounds, she just barely fit into this slide. The slide is too narrow. Now as far as the height of the slide it is dangerous only because there isn't enough support on the ladders edge. The child could easierly fall over. If you buy don't throw away your box. You will need it later for returning it. Good Luck!
Step 2 slide is a lot bigger and better built. This slide was very hard to assemble

Kinda small. Step 2 slide is a lot bigger and better built. This slide was very hard to assemble. You definitely need two people to assemble it.
MISSING PIECES!!
March 27, 2016
We purchased this for our grandkids for Easter. But when we went to put it together it was missing pieces ... so that meant NO Easter gift from us. Very disappointing!! Not sure what we are going to do now with this huge box that was not in good shape to begin with and now we are stuck with this huge slide that we can't even use because of missing pieces.
Unhappy grandma - got something I can't put together
September 14, 2015
I received the ladder and slide but I have to hardware to put the product together - the middle piece was not in package either - I can't use it as it is and I am having a problem finding out how to get back with you to get it corrected as I want the slide for my grandson. I would like for someone to respond to me and let me know if the hardware is coming in a separate box.

We LOVED it, until we had to call 911!
January 21, 2011
Our 22 month old daughter was so excited when she saw the UPS delivery man leaving her package by the door. We had to open it right away and put it together, which only took a couple of minutes. She has been sliding on since I stood it up... that was about 20 minutes ago. The sound in our home right now is... WEEEEE, WEEEEE, WEEEE!!! It is THE BEST item we have ever purchased!! Highly recommended product! After dinner, our daughter ran over to the slide and climbed up it without her helmet on. It all happened so fast, right as I was about to tell my husband to get her, she fell backwards, onto her head. Our daughter was temporarily paralyzed, THANK GOD it was only temporary. It took 10 minutes for the ambulance to arrive and another 10 to 15 to get her into the truck. She finally began saying words and lifting her arms about 30 - 45 minutes after the fall. We spent 8 terrifying hours from the moment of the accident until the 3 doctors cleared her.The is a love hate item. Our daughter absolutely loves it, and was ready to play on it again the next day. I absolutely hate it after our incident. There isn't a handle for little hands to grab onto when climbing up and sitting at the top! POOR DESIGN FLAW and I will make sure that Step2 is HIGHLY AWARE OF THIS!

Came in with missing pieces
DO NOT BUY THIS!
April 9, 2017
DO NOT BUY! I thought I'd be able to put this together (purchased for Christmas) but have not. I may have a flawed item. I am a single mom and have no male that I would allow in my house to attempt to put this together so I just wasted hard earned money. NEVER AGAIN, LITTLE TIKES, NEVER AGAIN!
