Five Star Reviews: | 56% Awesome little toy. Kids will love it April 2, 2017 Got this for my 7 year old and it is the toy he has played with the most. All of the kids love it actually. The magnification actually works and it looks awesome Our 7 year old loves these! January 5, 2016 Our little guy (age 7) has been afraid of the dark and said he wished he had Night Vision Goggles, so I found these. They did not disappoint. He really enjoys them and doesn't feel so scared of the dark now because he can see when he feels he needs to. The blue lights are cool and gives him the sense that he really has night vision. I highly recommend. Son loves them! April 28, 2014 My son wears these all over the place. He's so into the spy gear stuff right now. It's made well, as in it doesn't feel super cheap (like most spy gear for kids). | 26% TOY...*NOT* "Night Vision" = Great for tots! October 25, 2015 For little kids FUN ONLY.(I have no clue how this is a #1 best seller in the Hunting category? ) This flimsy plastic *TOY* has two tiny blue LCD lights on the side of yellow tinted goggle lenses with a huge battery pack in rear. No, you're NOT going to "see in the dark"....it's not even a good flash light. No, you're NOT going to see 5 feet in the dark, let alone the advertised 25 feet.Yes, you're going to laugh & have fun because they're funky & even a great futuristic costume add-on for PLAY, at any age...BUT, IMHO your 5-10 year old is going to enjoy these the most....and, if you ever do see a "hunter" wearing these. ..RUN! (remember zig zag) LOLRated 5 Star based solely on uniqueness and play fun. ..Rated Negative 100 as 'functional "vision'. |
Four Star Reviews: | 21% Perfect for big imaginations August 4, 2017 These really do not work all that great but to an eight-year-old little boy they are perfect. They were exactly what we thought they were going to be. The blue lenses are a lot of fun and the periscope piece makes great adjustments. Well built and fun to play with. July 29, 2016 My son wanted this for his birthday. At first I thought it was a piece of junk but I had the chance to play with it a bit and it is really well made. Still just a toy with no true night vision technology but fun to play with. Very fun glasses for kids! December 9, 2014 I bought these spyglasses for my 8 year old stepdaughter. She really likes them a lot. She is able to see in the dark with them and she goes around the house "spying" on people. The glasses are very well made and run off batteries, which I like because we use rechargeable batteries. Overall, I would recommend this product. Nice February 13, 2014 My son loved these when he first opened them for Christmas, but hasn't really played with them in over a month. They are nice...I just don't think it was enough to keep him interested. Younger kids liked it best November 29, 2012 I bought two of these for my nephews, who are brothers...4 (almost 5) and 6. My 6 year old nephew didn't take a liking to it as much as I thought he would...although he did guide us from the park back to the house with them on, because it gets dark so early now. My 2 year old nephew took over the 6 year olds, and the 2 year old and 4 year old played with them the most. But, I have to say, they were the biggest hit with the 2 year old...and very cute watching him wear them around, even though they didn't quite fit right on his head (the pack on the back slid down onto his neck).I also tried them on. The scope is pretty lame. You can't see anything through it in the dark and have to adjust it just right in the daylight for your eye to see it actually magnifying things.Just to reiterate what other people have said, they are two LED flashlights on the sides with a blue cover over them, so do not buy them thinking they are actually night vision goggles. | 11% Fun toy that is well made February 10, 2017 These are what they are... please don't expect anything remotely resembling true night-vision goggles. They have LED lights on the side that light the path of vision. That said, we got them for our six-year-old and he loves them. I like them because he can wear them around the back yard and I know exactly where he is at all times. The product is a great toy for children February 14, 2016 The product is a great toy for children. Thought I was purchasing an item for an adult. Seller worked with me and I am highly satisfied with everything. |
Three Star Reviews: | 8% OK May 6, 2016 Got these for my 6 yr old grandson. He liked them but due to their weight they kept falling down or off. It's a toy. January 30, 2016 It's a toy :) I thought it was more than that and I guess I was stupid. The magnifying lens works in bright area, but not useful in dark, even with those fancy(?) side-lights on. My just-turned-6 years old girl got bored of it just in one day. I guess she was expecting it to be little more than just a toy too. It looks cool though. Ok January 18, 2016 These were neat. I ordered a pair for each child. However, on one pair (straight out of the box), one of the headlights was broken. It just wasn't worth the hassle to send them back. They are also a bit heavy to keep on with the large battery pack on the back of the headband. Not bad but this is a little awkward. April 3, 2014 I got these for my son who was turing 7 and it was just a little bit of a tough fit. The battery pack is on the back of the head and slip down onto his neck quite often. He was a little frustrated with the fit. We still had some fun playing hide and go seek in the dark though. My 8 year old likes them January 16, 2014 These are just blue flashlights and you can barely see out of the yellow lens. The battery pack is heavy too. | 16% Not real nightvision! Just a goof for kids December 20, 2015 My son wanted this for his Halloween costume.THIS IS NOT NIGHT VISIONHe wanted it to look like a spy in one of his video games. They light up and the light they throw off is good for a kid who wants to goof off in the dark. |
Two Star Reviews: | 7% Save your money May 11, 2016 These items are very pricey and break very easily. If you think your child may break them they probably could. These are an overpriced pair of glasses. My son was very disappointed. 5 minutes of fun, 1 year at the bottom of toy box March 17, 2016 These are one of those toys that "seem" cool to an 8 year old, but as soon as they are placed on the head, they lose their charm within 5 minutes. I think my son played with them once on Christmas morning and realized they were hardly interesting enough to play with any further. Perhaps if he was playing with more gear or had friends to pretend with, it could have taken on some more life. But as a standalone toy, the magic fades quickly! :-) Not impressed December 10, 2015 Looks fancy but can't see anything but a blue light. Definitely can't see anything at night While the blue LEDs are great, they are woefully out of alignment March 19, 2015 While the blue LEDs are great, they are woefully out of alignment. The right LED faces so far down it is useless and the "night vision" assembly," while it does magnify, does not stay put away when put back. It is great for working on close stuff in the dark hands free. Just OK February 14, 2014 The night googles look nice but are plastic and could easily break. The blue light is not as bright as I thought. I was not happy with the quality and the price is high. Returned the product. | 8% Just was not happy with it and how they performed April 5, 2017 Just was not happy with it and how they performed. The price was good but the performance just met the price not high quailty so you get wht you pay for as they say. Not super impressed. December 16, 2015 Not comfortable at all, and not super impressed with the "night vision" a lighted headband or one of those that clip on your hat would do just as well without the goggle effect. |
One Star Reviews: | 8% my grandson didn't like this at all January 21, 2017 the back bulky component is too heavy, my grandson didn't like this at all. These were awful. I bought two, one for ... April 26, 2016 These were awful. I bought two, one for each of my boys. They kept coming apart and the boys couldn't get them back together themselves. Not as advertised December 27, 2015 This product is misleading and a waste of money! There is no "night-vision" at all. It's just 2 blue lights and a fake reticle eye piece.Save your money! The goggles were horrible and not what I expected at all December 21, 2015 The goggles were horrible and not what I expected at all. I assumed that the blue led lights could only have been seen through the lenses, completely disappointed. The sights were so useless I'm better off seeing with out them | 39% Save yourself the disappointment and look for a better one December 27, 2016 Don't buy. My son wont even wear it because the pointed part on the bottom of the nose digs into his face and if its loosened it falls off, so either he walks around with a hurt face or getting cranky cause it wont stay up cause its too heavy from the battery pack on the back. I was going to send it back but it would have cost me $11.48 just to ship it back which would only give me a few buck for a refund. Save yourself the disappointment and look for a better one, I wish I did. These things are crap. February 16, 2016 They are so bad that they make it harder to see than if I didn't have them on. ... be able to see something even then still not good don't buy you wer January 24, 2016 Got a used pair all scratched lens and whoever had it before left hair in it and if lens was not scratched might be able to see something even then still not good don't buy you wer warned Such a waste! 1st off they should not be called night ... November 26, 2015 Such a waste! 1st off they should not be called night vision glasses! Not by a long shot. These are just sunglasses with a green tint and two blue lights that turn on and shine in your peripheral. Secondly, you can only see anything that is within 2 feet of you.Total waste of money!!!!! This is a toy for 5 years old babies November 19, 2015 This is the worst thing that I have ever purchased. Only the pop out lights are lightning your way. NO night vision on this thing. This is a 5 years old toy. Very misleading November 18, 2015 Found these in the sporting goods department. Don't work and they are cheaply made. Not worth your money you can find better on Walmart.com |
