great little machine for weighing. Very compact.

This gives a very accurate reading, when weighing similar items to compare their weights, such as packs of Pokemon cards. However, I cannot speak on the precision on the device. It does not come with a calibration weight to calibrate it to my area. A $10 bill USD massed at .97 g.

I bought this specifically to measure out maca powder every morning. I wanted to take 3 grams a day. This worked prefect. I first zerod out scale with empty scooper then was able to easily weight out maca powder.

Way better than I needed for weighing herbs and spices, but it really works well. When I am measuring 34g of sage dies it really matter that I got 34.050g? Is that worth fixing? But that's my problem, not theirs. I use a thin walled borosilica glass to measure in to.

Works very well and is an amazing application of technology. A similar scale in the 90's would have cost 3 grand. Seems fairly accurate.

Really handy product. Easy to use and very accurate. I use it at work or when I'm on the go. It's small enough to fit into a jacket pocket comfortably. To me it's especially useful at fast food restaurants where actual serving size can very drastically from the advertised serving size.

Such a nicely priced and handy little scale. I had no idea such a thing existed until I read about it in a review by someone who likes to make their own pressed coffee when they travel. It's easy to use and the cover, once inverted, becomes the tray to hold whatever it is that you want measured. And they cleverly printed the instructions right on the inside of the lid/tray! Brilliant!

I ordered 2 just to be sure that I wasn't recieving a deffective unit, (it was only $2 for the second one) and both of them work fine. I think the reason people have issues with them is they put too much weight on it. ALWAYS have the cover on unless you are weighing something and it should work fine.

I use this to measure the amount of coffee beans or tea leaves I need to make a cup of coffee/tea. That's like the only use I have for a scale (for now), and for so cheap, I don't see why I would spend more for something better. The limit is really low though, so if you actually require having to weigh something heavier than a ceramic cup, probably shouldn't get this. This is literally pocket size, it's great. Even has a snug lid that doesn't detach when flipped over.

I bought both the MS-600 and the MS-500. They were much the same. I tested with a penny and both seemed acurate. I used for weighing my food when counting caleries when out and about. Good because it fits easily in your purse. Only problem is that hard to see display when balancing a plate on them. Great for at work, I did use at restarants although sometimes be a bit embarasing. Although the more I weighed the better I came at being able to judge by look. Would be great design if they had a delay display so could freeze the display while you take off the plate.

Bought for accurate cooking. This seems to measure accurately and is a good price. The only thing I would say is it would be nice if the lid came off and could be used as a tray, but for the price I can't really complain.

Much smaller than I expected. Comes with battery's which is convenient and weighs properly. Good scale for low cost options.

Nice, compact, very lightweight scale. Simple to operate. Wish the grams went out a few more decimal places to weigh substances in smaller quantities.

This scale works well, but I have noticed it jumps up or down by 0.1g. Overall for the price I was impressed. You can find these scales almost at double the cost at regular stores. The package was shipped on time. I did like that this scale included batteries.

I weigh my ground espresso with this device. 15 grams for a double.zero it out with the portafilter, then dispense the coffee. The only problem is when the grinder (I have a Rocky) clumps and takes a bit of time. The scale will turn off if not used within a short amount of time. But it will stay on long enough in the usual case - dispense, weight, dispense, weigh etc.It was calibrated when I received it. I checked it and it was spot on.I'd get it again.

It is an accurate scale that works great...while it works. If you leave it in prolonged heat or cold, it damages it beyond repair. You're suppose to get a calibration weight so you can, well recalibrate. After trying a few times, it's sad to say my scale doesn't work anymore. It does work for a good amount of time, having mine for over a year.

Had trouble weighing objects. the scale did not pick them up.

Useful scale but it only weighs to the tenth of a gram.

I am only giving 3 stars because it does not come calibrated you have to buy a weight. Size was is great and very compact.

Disappointing - scale works but the pad to set food on is very small and the screen is not readable at a low angle. The display is easily covered by the actual item being weighed making it unreadable. Using a small container to lift the item adds more weight than the scale can measure. There is no "hold" button to allow the item to be lifted off so the screen can be read.

The machine turns off and I've had little success with this. I would not suggest buying it.

Just got this in the mail and it doesn't even work. It turns on and everything, even says 0.00, tried to weigh something out and it doesn't weigh. It's stays on 0.00, very disappointing do not buy this item

Just received mine in the mail. Please don't waste your money. It does not weigh properly. Put a nickel on it and it's always off. Tried to re-calibrate and still reading the same. used many different items and all are not weighing accurate.

This product failed to work at all.I tried every trouble-shooting avenue provided by the instructions with no success. When I tried calling their customer service number, I was on hold for over an hour without ever reaching someone. Save yourself time, money, and hassle and buy a better quality scale.

Don't buy. Rusted battery springs, and the batteries that came with it were dead. This is all fresh out of the package.

I needed a scale thatwould weigh out my dog's powder medication to .1 gram, so I thought this would be a good scale after comparing it to several other models. I calibrated this scale per instructions, and attempted to weigh out my dog's powder meds. After two and a half hours of struggling with this thing, not once did it ever display "0.1" in the window. I tried everything - different sized containers, no container at all, different spots in my house, holding my breath, crossing my fingers, toes, eyes, NOT ONCE did this stupid thing weight out .1 gram! I'd set my little measuring cup on the scale, zero out the weight so the display read 0.0, slowly add the powder pinch by tiny pinch, then the readout would suddenly jump to .4. So I'd carefully lift the cup and pour out a little powder, replace it carefully in the same spot on the scale, and the readout would display anything from .5 to -.7!!! WTF?! UNACCEPTABLE when my pet's life is on the line! I tried recalibrating, using a tiny measuring cup, and testing out every table and counter top in my house. Nothing worked. This thing is going back first thing in the morning. If you plan to weigh out something important, avoid this!!!

Do not buy the MS-600! Repeat DO NOT buy!Inconsistent even after calibration with the required 500 gram weight (not included ).It is always wrong, and changes weight constantly, even as it's used.After 2 weeks I pulled the batteries and threw it away (I dare not give it away ). Not even worth a refund.Sceptical now of Amazons offerings of "made in China" scales, I did my research and this time I ordered the "Smart Weigh DBL-1KG". This scale is the real deal. It didn't need calibrated right out of the box, I dropped a nickel on it and 5 gm, dropped a dollar and 1 gm. Put the aforementioned 500 gm calibration weight on it an BOOM! 500 grams.- ZERO STARS FOR THE MS-600 SCALEI post this review on my own accord without any outside influence or compensation. I'm just a guy that got burned by a product the was listed as an Amazon "Best choice, recommended or something like that"

Stopped working after two-month of light uses. Purchased it in mid-October. Worked fine for the first two months (used it to weigh herbs a couple of time a week). Now it's no longer working. Can still turn it on and off, but does not display weights any more (shows 0.00 all the time). Very disappointed with the product quality.
