I like that the back of the package describes what each brush does and what makeup product to use with it. Makeup glides on as well as it does with more expensive brushes. I see no shedding when I use the brushes, although one of the larger ones did lose a few bristles when washed (totally as expected). I expected the light colored bristle ends to stain, but they wash clean with normal washing. My favorite of this set is the angled face brush, which I use to stipple blush. A close second is the small domed brush, which works well in the eye crease. | Pretty good brushes!April 10, 2017 These are actually pretty good brushes especially for the price!!! They do have a smell when you get them but once you wash it the smell goes away. Also note that there is shedding with the big face brushes and a little shedding with the smaller brushes but not as much shedding. The face brushes are actually really good once it stops shedding. I find myself reaching for these more than my morphe brushes! I really like all of them honestly and actually recommend you purchase them if you are a beginner makeup user :) Satisfied!April 6, 2017 These brushes are great and the price even better! They feel well made. The price is awesome. All my other brushes are elf studio or eco tools. But this set is perfect. Really no shredding when I used them. They blended both creamy foundation and power blush very well. I recommend them. My eco tools were pretty expensive and this whole set only cost 10.99 for the black and gold. The seller left a note saying it is from it being inside a plastic bag for a while, but I'm not sure about that because I didn't notice a smell from the bag. However, if you wash the brushes before using them, the smell should go away.-The heft of these brushes feels cheap, but on the flip side, the lightness make these great for travel.-The eyeshadow brushes are a weird shape, and not best for packing on color. They are more for blending a sheer amount of color on the lids. Really Great Brushes for the Price!January 17, 2015 I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to write one about this one because it's an awesome deal if you know how to properly care for inexpensive makeup brushes. I am somewhat of a beauty product aficionado and I have a lot of makeup brushes, both high end and inexpensive. These are really great! They are dense and shaped really well. I like the kabuki style brushes for foundation and cream products, which these are amazing for! The synthetic bristles make them very easy to clean as well.The downside with these brushes is that they aren't super well put-together. That is easily fixable though. You just need a hot glue gun and a pen (or pen-like object). Here's what I do:1) Wash them thoroughly. They do have that factory chemical smell that comes from all inexpensive brushes ordered from China. Let them dry.2) Separate the handle from the brush head. Yes, I separated the handle. These are not glued in well, so people who complain of the brushes breaking or the bristles coming out, this is why. Because there is not much glue holding them together, the handles will detach fairly easily.3) Put hot glue in the back side of the brush head. BE CAREFUL, THE METAL PART WILL GET HOT (I ADVISE USING GLOVES FOR THIS PART). Pour some hot glue in the back of the brush head and GENTLY pat it down with the pen. This will help secure the bristles a little better. Then put some hot glue around the rim of the brush head and quickly insert the handle. This will help secure the handle on more effectively.I did this with all of my brushes (and I have used this technique on other inexpensive brands as well) and it works well. Yes, it requires a little extra work to make these last long term, however for the price, I think it's worth it. The only other complaint I might have is that these soak up a lot moisture, so when you dry them after washing, try to dry them upside down. Otherwise, a great buy! | | | | |

| Good but not GREAT!November 6, 2017 Good, "cheap", brushes. Bought these for my 14 yr old. You do get some loosening of bristles but its not terrible. Get what you pay for and I would definitely say I got my money's worth. Don't expect excellent, but they certainly aren't BAD! Slightly firm bristlesSeptember 9, 2017 The bristles are little farm but I'm waiting to see what time they might soften up. I've used a few of them all week and no bristle seem to be coming out or anything like that. These work as backup while my favorite brushes are being cleaned or drying. This Product is just OkayAugust 2, 2017 These synthetic brushes are just okay. The price was good for the amount of brushes. Even though the bristles are soft to the touch, they make my face itch, especially the larger brushes, when applying makeup. I decided to apply the makeup with my fingers, then use the larger flat brush to blend the makeup - that way I don't have to use it on my face for very long. The brush does a good job of blending, and gives the makeup a nice finish. The brush did not wash up very well; some of my foundation hardened on the brush. It could be because the bristles are synthetic, or perhaps I needed to do a more thorough job of cleaning the brush. I will wash the brush a second time. I have used a couple of the smaller brushes to apply eye makeup, and they do a good job. I have not used all of the brushes, because I don't really need to. Maybe I will use them in the future. There is a chart that comes with the brushes with instructions on how to use the brushes. That is a nice feature. They are pretty good. Some of the hairs are already coming ...April 22, 2017 They are pretty good. Some of the hairs are already coming off and these were purchased only a few months ago. I clean with olive oil and dish washing detergent, very gently and even still the hairs are coming out. Brushs are very dense and nor fluffyJuly 23, 2016 I really wanted to like these after reading all the reviews. But they are way too dense making it very difficult to blend the makeup. The brushes pick up quite a bit of product and can easily make you look cakey because they do not move around makeup well. A different tool (such as beauty blender) is required to finish the look. I use the brushes to put the product on my face and then blend it out with something else. Great starter brushesFebruary 15, 2016 After having the brushes for over a year, I can say that these brushes definitely great for the price but not the best quality. The handles came off of 2 of my face brushes a few weeks after a received them, you could probably hot glue the handles back on but this shouldn't happen to fairly new brushes. They're also shedding quite a bit while washing them, like chunks of bristles at a time. Since they're synthetic bristles, they do take quite a while to dry. I just washed all of my brushes last night, the rest of my brushes dried within 8 hours but the majority of these brushes are still very wet(with the exception of the small fluffy brushes included in the set). | You get what you pay for...September 9, 2017 Handles came unglued for all but one of the larger brushes and even that one feels loose so it won't be long before it comes apart too. Eye shadow brushes seem to be holding up fine. Definitely cheap and you get what you pay for. If you're looking for good quality this isn't it. From the second I took them out of their packet, they smelled horribly - almost a chemical smell. I laid them on my dining room table thinking they might air out. My 6 year old son grabbed a couple and was brushing them all over his eyes and face. Within an hour, he had a HORRIFIC allergic reaction. His eyes puffed up and turned red and his cheeks looked almost burnt. These brushes should be pulled from your stock and not sold anymore. I've tried multiple different times with multiple different brands and formulas of makeup. And please, before anyone says that I didn't use them right or my makeup isn't good enough, I know what I'm doing and trust me, I pay too much money for the makeup I use.
