These brushes are great so far! I was surprised by how soft they are. They are fairly densely packed (not quite as dense as my Real Techniques brushes, but close). They did have a sort of plastic smell when they arrived, but I washed them and the smell went away immediately. They do hold onto a bit of product, but no more than other brushes I have. I would definitely recommend them, especially if you are just starting to use brushes! For this price, you cant beat them!

I cannot recommend these brushes enough! Extraordinarily high quality set of eight brushes for a super great price! I was able to upgrade my brush collection on my tight budget and still feel like it was a big splurge. I have been using them to apply my foundations and powders as well as my eyeshadows. I found them to not smell or have any fallout. Go ahead and give them a shot if you are on the fence about buying them, you won't be disappointed!

Love them! They do shade a little but its really not that big of a deal. Its worth it for the price. I use these daily and do recommend them.

Dense & extremely soft. I hoped for at least one fluffy brush to blend everything together but these will do just fine. Especially if you are into contouring & highlighting.

I was looking for some brush dupes , and these brushes are EXACTLY what I needed! They are super soft, full, and well made just like other more expensive, popular brushes on the market. You get awesome quality for a low price. Who doesn't love that? I most definitely recommend these and I'll be purchasing more soon!

I simply can not believe the quality of these brushes for only $10. I just received them in the mail today and used them to apply my makeup. No initial shedding with the first application. I've used other inexpensive brushes before (free ones with purchase) and those have shed in the first use. They are the perfect blending brush and are stiff enough to apply hard and soft powder. These are as soft as my Sephora, Mac, and Urban Decay brushes. Only time will tell if they last.

These brushes are amazing at this price. They are so soft and supple, and always cover evenly. I mostly use them for eye makeup. Then finish up with my favorite mascara ) Lavish Lash HD by Hairgenics - Ultra-Premium Volumizing Fiber Mascara for Extreme High Definition Lashes and my makeup is always flawless.

These brushes are perfect! I have yet to have a problem with any of them falling apart. The bristles are incredibly soft and there is no odd scent. I like that the back of the package describes what each brush does and what makeup product to use with it. Makeup glides on as well as it does with more expensive brushes. You can't beat the price for these!

I have been using these brushes daily for over a year now and love them. They wash well, do not lose any bristles and wash very well. I would definitely recommend these brushes to anyone looking for a nice set at a great price.

Nice brushes for the price...bristles are dense and softer than some of the expensive brushes I own. I see no shedding when I use the brushes, although one of the larger ones did lose a few bristles when washed (totally as expected). I expected the light colored bristle ends to stain, but they wash clean with normal washing. My favorite of this set is the angled face brush, which I use to stipple blush. A close second is the small domed brush, which works well in the eye crease. An all around good brush set, and worth what I paid.**I paid FULL PRICE for this item, and am writing this review without incentive**

The brushes are really soft with little to no shedding.The smaller 5 brushes aren't great to get much product on. Definitely not for a good eye makeup application. But I'm happy with all the big brushes.Yes, the handles do come apart after a few months for me, but I've got great industrial strength glue, so that's no problem for me. It's a bit bothersome when they do come off, but for the price I'm getting these brushes, I will look over this!

These brushes are amazing. They are very soft, it's hard to believe they are synthetic. They do have a chemical smell from the paint on the handles but the smell goes away with use. I am very pleased with this purchase. I made some images to label the brushes and explain each ones use. I hope they are helpful as many reviewers where confused about which brushes do what. I will recommend these to my friends. You just can't find a better value.

Excellent set of brushes. Each brush does exactly what it is meant for, that's what I was told by the person for whom it was bought. Nice product. Comfortable to use. Let us see how long it lasts. Wish it had come with a proper pouch or bag to keep the brushes organized and together, instead of a disposable polythene bag.

If you are looking for a pretty good set of brushes for an amazing price these are for you. I was looking for a contouring brush specifically and thought I'd get a new set at the same price. I was disappointed that the so called contouring brush looked just like the blush brush with an almost imperceptible angle.

Just like the picture but some of the brushes were loose or came off all together. Easily fixed with hot glue. The brush with the tapered top is a little pokey though but they are all soft.

This brush set is a good beginners set. They did come with a chemical smell. I used my brush wash and washed them immediately upon opening them. Left them out to dry over night, like I do with my other brushes the next day they still had a faint smell. Two days later the smell was gone. If you don't have a brush wash you can use baby shampoo, just run a small amount of water in a sink add baby wash to it and rub the brush on the bottom of the sink. For any beginners you are suppose to wash your brushes every two to three weeks to prevent bacteria growth and help keep your brushes working properly. Use a daily brush cleaner to clean in between washes. These brushes are soft and after they had been washed and aired out I did use them. They are good brushes but I wouldn't trade some of my current brushes for them. They are going to be used as travel brushes. They did they job they were suppose to. They are synthetic and super soft, the handles have a good weight to them. I do recommend them they did not shed and did what I needed them to. If you need help with what each brush is for please ask or google and it will help you figure it out.

The brushes feel nice. I'm a newbie to makeup so I don't have a lot of specific commentary. As for the smell others mentioned, I noticed a faint odor that went away after I washed them, so no big deal for me. I really, really wish the brushes were labelled (there's a cute little card inside that says they are, but they're not.) The company sent me a jpeg of the brushes with names, which is also on the product page, but their are 10 names and 8 brushes. Since I'm new to makeup, a lot of the brushes look alike to me. The company, after I wrote them again, sent me a youtube video they found explaining what brushes do. This was very nice of them, but it would be better if they had pictures of the brushes they themselves are selling with labels like other companies do.

I really needed a new brush set, it's been too long, i took a while looking for a nice set that wasn't too expensive, good reviews, I want to point out this as a set is great quality, they hold up to not only me but my daughters both 'do their makeup' with them, i have had no shedding at all shipping was great too that being said i'm not really loving these they are too soft for me, if you like a soft more sweeping application brush you might love these i prefer more control when applying my makeup.I chose to edit my original review after i received an almost immediate response from the company, something i wasn't expecting but am impressed with, you can't go wrong with that.

These are actually pretty good brushes especially for the price!!! They do have a smell when you get them but once you wash it the smell goes away. Also note that there is shedding with the big face brushes and a little shedding with the smaller brushes but not as much shedding. The face brushes are actually really good once it stops shedding. I find myself reaching for these more than my morphe brushes! I really like all of them honestly and actually recommend you purchase them if you are a beginner makeup user :)

These brushes are great and the price even better! I had to buy something fast as my old brushes were falling right apart, so I took a chance on these based on reviews and am quite satisfied with my purchase. I have problem skin. These brushes definitely help apply product more flawlessly than my old set. And they're super soft! Would certainly recommend.

These brushes are great! The foundation brush is amazing, I've been using this brand for about two years now, and bought my second set of brushes recently. The only issue was a few of the brushes blue paint was chipped off ( I received them that way) - not a huge deal, just a cosmetic flaw. Regardless, the brushes work great and they're good for beginners/ experienced makeup lovers.Pros-Extremely softEasy to useDoesn't shed (I have had one set for over a year)Cons-They need to be rinsed really well, not a biggy, but wash them at least once a week.Some of them arrived chipped.They do smell, but once you wash them the smell is gone.

So far these are great. Yes they have an odor when you open the package but it goes away. They are soft yet firm enough to blend your makeup. They feel well made. The price is awesome. All my other brushes are elf studio or eco tools. But this set is perfect. Really no shredding when I used them. They blended both creamy foundation and power blush very well. I recommend them. My eco tools were pretty expensive and this whole set only cost 10.99 for the black and gold. I had that much just about for my one brush of eco tools.

Overall, these brushes are pretty nice with a few minor things I wish were different.The good:-Cute color scheme for the brushes-No fall out or shedding at all-You get a lot of brushes for a really low price-Brush heads are not wobbly or unstable-Brush fibers are very very soft-The flat top brush is excellent for foundationThe bad:-Initial smell when you open them is awful. The seller left a note saying it is from it being inside a plastic bag for a while, but I'm not sure about that because I didn't notice a smell from the bag. However, if you wash the brushes before using them, the smell should go away.-The heft of these brushes feels cheap, but on the flip side, the lightness make these great for travel.-The eyeshadow brushes are a weird shape, and not best for packing on color. They are more for blending a sheer amount of color on the lids.

I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to write one about this one because it's an awesome deal if you know how to properly care for inexpensive makeup brushes. I am somewhat of a beauty product aficionado and I have a lot of makeup brushes, both high end and inexpensive. These are really great! They are dense and shaped really well. I like the kabuki style brushes for foundation and cream products, which these are amazing for! The synthetic bristles make them very easy to clean as well.The downside with these brushes is that they aren't super well put-together. That is easily fixable though. You just need a hot glue gun and a pen (or pen-like object). Here's what I do:1) Wash them thoroughly. They do have that factory chemical smell that comes from all inexpensive brushes ordered from China. Let them dry.2) Separate the handle from the brush head. Yes, I separated the handle. These are not glued in well, so people who complain of the brushes breaking or the bristles coming out, this is why. Because there is not much glue holding them together, the handles will detach fairly easily.3) Put hot glue in the back side of the brush head. BE CAREFUL, THE METAL PART WILL GET HOT (I ADVISE USING GLOVES FOR THIS PART). Pour some hot glue in the back of the brush head and GENTLY pat it down with the pen. This will help secure the bristles a little better. Then put some hot glue around the rim of the brush head and quickly insert the handle. This will help secure the handle on more effectively.I did this with all of my brushes (and I have used this technique on other inexpensive brands as well) and it works well. Yes, it requires a little extra work to make these last long term, however for the price, I think it's worth it. The only other complaint I might have is that these soak up a lot moisture, so when you dry them after washing, try to dry them upside down. Otherwise, a great buy!

i like the feel of the brushes but they all seem similar to one another and the instruction sheet that comes with it says the same thing for all the brushes and doesn't show the same brushes that you get. For the price I would recommend them. They do give a variety to use while your just cleaned brushes are drying.

These are just okay, they get the job done but a couple of mine had the handles break off mid application and most of them shed a little when applying foundation. Worth the price but you get what you pay for...

These carry a strong chemical odor and I think I may have to soak these in soapy warm water before using

These brushes definitely get the job done.I think the foundation brushes are too dense though. You'll find that it'll move your foundation a lot and cause it to be uneven or even take off some of the foundation. You're better off using a different brush or patting in your foundation with these brushes instead of swirling or buffing. They aren't my favorite, but they'll do for anyone on a budget.I love the three fluffy brushes, they are so great at blending. The dome brush is really densely packed as well, but some might like that. I don't find that any of these smaller brushes apply shadows evenly though, I mainly just use them for blending.I'm really surprised at the quality though. They don't shed at all, I'm pretty much in love with that. Otherwise, I don't think this set will get you far in makeup, they're too dense. But if you're looking for anything, this is something.

Got this product yesterday and I was very excited! When I opened it today and checked all the products, I noticed that one of the larger brushes (the flat-top brush) was not connected to the base and fell right off. I know these aren't super expensive but I never understand why companies don't use better glues to stick the top and bottoms together. BUT, the bristles are soft and I can glue the top back on myself. I have not tested it yet with makeup, but I pulled the bristles and didn't notice any shedding. I may have to trim a few straglers though. Haven't decided yet if I will keep these because I haven't tested them yet. First I need to wash them because they have a very distinct "factory" smell and then I can see if the bristles stay put and if they blend well.

These brushes are a good set for women either just starting to learn how to apply makeup or are learning the art of contouring. The brushes are soft & have fairly dense bristles. The handles are light and long enough for comfort while applying makeup even for ppl with small hands(like me), & I haven't had any issues with the brushes separating from the handles like I have had w other inexpensive brush sets. The quality is average but the variety of brushes is good, although there could be more designated for eyeshadow application. All-in-all, it's a decent set for the price.

Good, "cheap", brushes. Bought these for my 14 yr old. You do get some loosening of bristles but its not terrible. Get what you pay for and I would definitely say I got my money's worth. Don't expect excellent, but they certainly aren't BAD!

The bristles are little farm but I'm waiting to see what time they might soften up. I've used a few of them all week and no bristle seem to be coming out or anything like that. These work as backup while my favorite brushes are being cleaned or drying.

These synthetic brushes are just okay. The price was good for the amount of brushes. Even though the bristles are soft to the touch, they make my face itch, especially the larger brushes, when applying makeup. I decided to apply the makeup with my fingers, then use the larger flat brush to blend the makeup - that way I don't have to use it on my face for very long. The brush does a good job of blending, and gives the makeup a nice finish. The brush did not wash up very well; some of my foundation hardened on the brush. It could be because the bristles are synthetic, or perhaps I needed to do a more thorough job of cleaning the brush. I will wash the brush a second time. I have used a couple of the smaller brushes to apply eye makeup, and they do a good job. I have not used all of the brushes, because I don't really need to. Maybe I will use them in the future. There is a chart that comes with the brushes with instructions on how to use the brushes. That is a nice feature.

They are pretty good. Some of the hairs are already coming off and these were purchased only a few months ago. I clean with olive oil and dish washing detergent, very gently and even still the hairs are coming out.

I really wanted to like these after reading all the reviews. But they are way too dense making it very difficult to blend the makeup. The brushes pick up quite a bit of product and can easily make you look cakey because they do not move around makeup well. A different tool (such as beauty blender) is required to finish the look. I use the brushes to put the product on my face and then blend it out with something else.

After having the brushes for over a year, I can say that these brushes definitely great for the price but not the best quality. The handles came off of 2 of my face brushes a few weeks after a received them, you could probably hot glue the handles back on but this shouldn't happen to fairly new brushes. They're also shedding quite a bit while washing them, like chunks of bristles at a time. Since they're synthetic bristles, they do take quite a while to dry. I just washed all of my brushes last night, the rest of my brushes dried within 8 hours but the majority of these brushes are still very wet(with the exception of the small fluffy brushes included in the set). Overall, they're great to start out with but aren't built to last

Beautiful brushes but chemical smell. There was no way that I was going to put the brush on my face for that reason. Honestly, I don't know if the smell was chemicals or the plastic packaging that the brushes came in. If that strong scent was not on the brushes, then I would have probably liked them. I returned the brushes due to the odor.

The brushes seem well made and could be good for a beginner. The quality of the brushes were pretty good, however, the eyeshadow brushes seemed WAY to big to use on the eyes. I'm surprised that very little reveiws say this! I mean, it can be used to blending but thars about it. Way too large to be precise on the eye. I returned these since I was more focused on finding eye brushes than face brushes. I think if you need mostly face brushes, this can be a good buy...

Originally I really liked these brushes however after a couple months use I noticed the brush handled of a couple of them felt loose. Four months in and handle fell completely off of one. I can try to glue it in again but feel that the quality isn't the best. Brush heads are still decent but it's hard to use a wobbly brush.

Brushes looked good and felt ok. But Dear God In Heaven.....the STINK!!!!!! The deadly chemical pollution fumes smelled like why all those people in Shanghai on the news are wearing masks. I advised my granddaughters to leave them outside for several days to see if it would blow the stink off.

I bought these 2 months ago and could smell them from outside of the box! They smell like they were dipped in paint thinner. So I put them on a shelf to air out until I got around to attempting to clean them. I haven't gotten around to it yet however they still smell awful! No way I'm touching my face with that. If not for the smell they look like they'd be great brushes.

Ultimately I don't believe these brushes are worth it. Although they are reasonably priced, I would have preferred saving my money and purchasing higher quality brushes. These shed, they smell, the brush handles are not very sturdy, and while they are soft at first once you use them they become sticky and grab onto product. I ended up only using maybe 2 out of the 8 brushes regularly. I could have saved my money for higher quality brushes or even spent less money on brushes from the drugstore which would've probably been even less expensive and still been higher quality! (Elf & wet n wild have some amazing quality brushes for an even lower price than this). It wasn't a huge waste, but I would definitely not repurchase, I only went for it in the first place due to seeing so many good reviews about brushes comparing them to MORPHE etc. Hopefully someone will read this review and decide to support Elf or Wet n Wild instead !

Handles came unglued for all but one of the larger brushes and even that one feels loose so it won't be long before it comes apart too. Eye shadow brushes seem to be holding up fine. Definitely cheap and you get what you pay for. If you're looking for good quality this isn't it. If you want cheap but will get the job done then they aren't bad.

Plus side: brushes are extremely soft!! They blend makeup very well and they do not scratch your skin while using themNegative: some of the brushes came apart right before I even got them out of their packaging. It's pretty annoying using just the tip of them, without their handle. I suppose I can just tape the handle on again... But very disappointing. It was a good thing I got them for my personal use and not for a gift for a friend.

I love the hairs on the brush. Super soft. My brushes unfortunately came apart from the wooden handle. Three of them came apart. Two while using and one when taking it out of package. I really want to like them but that was a complete bummer for me.

I was super excited about these brushes, so much that I ordered a set for my daughter. The brushes are soft and work nicely, however out of the package three brushes came apart from the handles. I can hot glue them back together, but I was disappointed that I am unable to use them until I find the time to glue them back together. I'd give them 5 stars for the brush softness but I am giving it 2 because some are unusable until I make the fix. I'd send them back but it's more of a hassle than just doing the repair on my own.

When they first arrived, I was so excited. Before I even opened the box, they had a sickly chemical smell to them....I opened the box and it only got stronger. So I took it out of the bag and the part that is supposed to be white, had a sickly purple color....as if it was freshly chemicaled or if the black had bled into the white part or something. I put them in a cup of soapy water to soak for hours, I took them out and they still have that chemical smell, and the color is still purple. I thought these brushes would be beautiful and professional looking, but instead they look and smell like Barney the dinosaur wiped his butt with them. They look gross...

I hated these brushes. The brush bristles started to shed badly on my face and in my head. It started happening after the return window was closed. And, the many of the eye shadow brushes detached from the handle, which just sucked. I don't wear a lot of make-up, just foundation, some blush and neutral eye shadow. I went by the reviews which is why I bought this make-up brush set, the reviews were good, but these brushes just did not work out for me.

I really wanted to like these brushes. They are very soft and thick, but the eye brushes are all way too big. Also, the metal piece separated and fell off of one of the eye brushes already after only one month.

The brushes were not connected to the handles when I got them, the glue was dried out.I have to hold the brush by the medal top to use them.However, since I have used them, I probably can't return them

I bought these because there were so many reviews. Don't buy these. They're horrible brushes. They are way too dense, I like my brushes "fluffier"

If you want quality brushes, please look somewhere else! These brushes do not work. They grab the product but you're unable to apply it anywhere. I was severely disappointed. These brushes wasted my money and my products :(

These brushes are AWFUL! From the second I took them out of their packet, they smelled horribly - almost a chemical smell. I laid them on my dining room table thinking they might air out. My 6 year old son grabbed a couple and was brushing them all over his eyes and face. Within an hour, he had a HORRIFIC allergic reaction. His eyes puffed up and turned red and his cheeks looked almost burnt. These brushes should be pulled from your stock and not sold anymore.

While these brushes are great, I am extremely disappointed in the product quality as 5 of my brushes handles completely came off within the first three times using. It was as if they weren't properly made/put together. Extremely disappointing. Please fix this.

At first these seemed really nice and applied well. Unfortunately, it did not take long for the bristles to start falling out. At first just a few than in clumps. I would not want to buy these again.

With that being said, these brushes are awful. Seriously. They suck. I knew from the moment I opened them that I was going to regret buying them. Granted, I only spent $10 on them, so I can't complain too much about wasting money. They don't blend AT ALL. I've tried multiple different times with multiple different brands and formulas of makeup. And please, before anyone says that I didn't use them right or my makeup isn't good enough, I know what I'm doing and trust me, I pay too much money for the makeup I use. I've tried high end makeup with these brushes. Looked awful. I've tried drug store and dollar store brand makeup. Still looked awful. The makeup always came out looking streaky and I'd always have to pull loose bristles from my face
