Beautiful TV, Easy Set-up
March 2, 2016
Easy setup, once my internet was working properly, i had to restart my router. Everything fell into place. I want to just stay home and watch Amazon Pride movies. If you have HBO you may feel cheated, cause you get some HBO movies with your Prime Membership. This television is beautiful. Once your smart tv is set everything falls into place with all the add ons.
The Vizio E32-C1 and E32h-C1 offers a nice array of Smart TV apps, nice picture and Good Quality picture
November 17, 2015
Very Good Set and Affordable. Amazon has (on the remote) an access button for Amazon direct link to their website. The remote control does take some getting use to but offers many menu choices and set up cues. Picture quality (like most sets now) is good. This set allows TINT adjustment whereas many 2015 TV's no longer let the user correct Tint. Sound is fair but does offer output for speakers. The built in Smart TV also is good and works well and offers many choices (by pressing the "V" button) on the remote - which can only be accessed by having wifi in your home, office or business. One fatal flaw is no built in guide when using Over the Air digital channels. The info for program is limited to the station you are tuned to. No guide what so ever.

The installed apps are: (most are pay subscriptions) However some are free :
Netflix / Amazon Instant Videos/ iHeart Radio/Vudu Movies & TV / Hulu Plus / Pandora / Spotify / Twitter / Yahoo News/ Yahoo Fantasy Football / Yahoo News / Yahoo Screen / Revision 3/ B Music/ iFood.Tv / HotList Web Videos /Multimedia / Ebay / Yahoo Weather / Flix Fling / Flicker / Crackle / Yahoo Finance/ Fandango / Yahoo Sports / Tune In / Facebook / and Plex. There are firmware and updates that Amazon and Vizeo will provide for this TV.

The semi-gloss screen can be an issue if there is bright light or shadowing from light sources. Some Televisions are completly glossy as well as laptops so this is something to consider when thinking about a new set. For Streaming Video YOUR internet connection speed must be 1.5 Mbps and higher.
An Ethernet cable can be connected to the back of the set. Power supply from the TV is to YOUR right of the set (facing the TV) the connections for plug in devices and inputs are to the left of the TV . There are 2 HDMI inputs and 1 USB as well as your Component and Composite inputs.
Awesome TV for the price
October 31, 2015
My review is a non technical one for people who just want to know if this is worth the hard earned dollars. I really wanted a 4k TV, but after doing a ton of research I decided that while 4k is amazing, it just didn't justify the huge jump in price. If budget isn't an issue then skip this TV. I've had this for 2 days and it is one of 4 in my home. The first thing I love about it is the picture. It is crystal clear. You can easily adjust the settings to optimize based on the room you're in. Once you have it the way you like it you can sit back and enjoy. I tested the picture by going through various types of shows and movies. No pixelation or any noticeable issues. The remote is nice and simple with 3 extra buttons for Amazon Prime movies, Netflix, and iHeart Radio which is awesome. I tested these services and again the picture was awesome. I have a 150Mb wireless connection so the streaming was flawless.
I checked out the sound next. I don't ever recommend using only TV speakers, but this was adequate. Not bad, not great. I have since hooked up an old Bose 321 system and it's perfect. Get an inexpensive sound bar and you'll be happy.
The only minor flaw for me is the width. It's decent plus I watch it from the front not the side but it would have been nice to have a thinner profile.
Lastly I must mention the delivery service. This was as good as it gets. You schedule a day and time slot. They call as they are coming to which was nice. There were 2 men that carried the TV into my house. They unboxed it, put on the legs (I'm not mounting this on the wall), put it exactly where I wanted it, then removed the box and all packing material and took it with them. Just awesome.
Overall I don't think you can get a better TV and delivery service for the money. A high end 65" 1080p TV with a 240 refresh rate? Come on now. Enjoy!
UPDATE: Now that I've had the TV for a few weeks I can say it is really one of the top I've owned. Again, while not 4k, the picture is outstanding. Blacks are deep, and no pixelation, stutter, or any issues at all. I'm very happy with this purchase, and I think you'd be hard pressed to find any TV of this quality for this price. Hope this helps.
Great tv
August 15, 2015
One thing i like that is and improvement over the previous generation is the fact that the Netflix, I heart radio and Amazon buttons work as power button also. The remote control designed in wonderful! TV picture is great.
Awesome TV.
April 29, 2015
Awesome TV! Great picture. Awesome veiwing angle. This TV is huge! The remote doesn't have a qwerty keyboard like the m-series remotes, but that's fine. I didnt really need it anyways. The stand or legs of this TV are far apart. If your going to stand this TV up on a TV stand or something, the stand needs to be at least 4.5 feet long.

Great purchase and really cheap
August 10, 2017
Great purchase and really cheap! My onl gripe is that it can't swivel in that many angles and directions but I guess you'd need something more heavy duty for that so just be aware. I'm using a 27" monitor for this so I've noticed that my monitor tends to tilt downwards a bit. You can accomodate for this by mounting your monitor a tad higher. This is probably better cause you'd probably want to view your monitor slightly upwards angle, rather than a downwards angle. Some extra advice. The mount kit says you must mount to a wooden stud in your wall, but actually you can still mount to to your dry wall. I purchased a few wall anchors and washers and it's holding up like a champ!
No major complaints
January 20, 2017
It's a simple, yet sturdy mount, exactly what I was looking for. I didn't have any issues mounting my Thunderbolt monitor, although I did have to oil the joints because of an annoying squeak. I ended up having to loosen all the joints slightly so I could maneuver my monitor with ease. The only adjustment I can't seem to get right is the tilt; it's either too tight to tilt or too loose for my heavy monitor. The bolt to adjust the tilting action is a little to get turn using the tool provided when the monitor's mounted... but I suspect if I use the real deal - the actual tool that has both the closed and open end (not sure what they're called but my husband has them in all sizes), I wouldn't have a problem turning that bolt.
Very good contruction and easy to install
July 30, 2016
Ordered two and installed both on side of my desk shelves. Not a difficult installation, all hardware for a wall mount included but I bought 5/8 x 1.5 inch bolts with 1 1/4 flat washers to anchor to desk made of particle board. Nice an secure. Adjusted the swivel arms and tilt to my liking.I originally intended to install the arms horizontally on top of the shelves but the tilt did not seem strong enough for that configuration. I saw some comments of people asking if it could be installed that way. The best I can explain it is that it's like carrying an extension ladder vertically as opposed to horizontally. Much easier vertically when balanced. The price on these are great also as is the construction. If I need more I'll buy these again.
Versitle And Well Priced TV Mount
January 18, 2016
I have ordered three VideoSecu TV mounts, all different and all three are excellent Two have articulating arms, the third mounts directly to the wall. I chose to review this one because I'm using it in an unorthodox way .and I would like to show its versatility. The other two are installed in my RV in the conventional way and function very well. This one is mounted near the high ceiling in my Master Bath and is secured to an .adjustable table originally used to support a CRT TV.. It not only securely holds a 23 inch LED TV, but because it is mounted inverted to the usual way, it allows 15 degrees or more of downward tilt without fear of the TV falling. In addition, the table has sufficient room for the addition of small stereo speakers which greatly improve the TV's audio quality. The face plate that screws directly to the TV of all three mounts that I purchased is removable. It hooks and screws to the rest of the rest of the TV mount. This allows easy installation of the TV to the mount a unique feature.
As advertised
August 10, 2015
I bought this wall mount for a 28" Vizio to mount above a treadmill. I am not a particularly handy guy, but this mount was very easy to install. Drill two pilot holes into a stud and drive in the provided screws. No problem at all. For the price this is a very attractive product.
I reversed my Rating from 2 to 5 stars

I revamped my computer room for better functionality for my family. I installed an 11 foot kitchen countertop onto one side of our library/computer room; see picture (a feat in and by itself). Using a countertop allowed me to create a wireless environment with 3 separate computer stations; 1 PC & 2 Laptops (the LPs are hidden underneath the counter). I then mounted 3 computer monitors above the countertop. To keep costs down, I bought 3 of these inexpensive wall mounting computer monitors arms. For parties, we use the countertop to hold the food. These wall mounted monitor arms allow all 3 of the monitors to be pushed back snuggly against the wall, and out of the way of the food, and potential messes. I like a wire free environment, so all of my computers have wireless keyboards and mice (color coded on the bottom to not get mixed up). This allows them to be easily removed when the food comes onto the countertop. So everything is out of the way including the monitors. But during the week, and regular life, when the kids/family are using the computers for school work, or gaming, or for gathering information from the internet, these wall mounted monitor arms allow for easy adjustment to personal preference… No hassles. When I first mounted these monitors, I’ll admit I had some difficulty making adjustments when using the wrenches that came in the box. I even had some difficulty tilting the monitors up and down. Therefore at that time, I gave these wall mounting arms a rating of only 2 stars. However, I’ve now revered my rating to a 5 star. I've owned these wall mounted arms for 9 months now, and I've learned how to make the adjustments, quickly and easily. Also these mounting arms have held up very well; they have NOT sagged down from the Monitor weight. My older I-INC monitor is 24 inches, and the 2 newer Dell Monitors are 23.5 inches They are nice and sturdy and easily move into position as needed. The wall mounts allow the monitors to be spun 360 degrees, although I have only had to spin them 90 degrees one way or the other to watch a cell phone videos that were taken with the phone sideways. Also my kids like to play a racing game called TrackMania - Canyon, and often play it on the center monitor, with it fully extended out from the wall. This arm has had no problems doing so and doesn’t sag. Also sometimes, if there is too much light in the room, they throw a blanket over both themselves and the monitor to block the sun light. The blanket adds additional weight, and yet the support arms have not sagged. I’m very impressed.Other comments:Firstly, I’ve added a smaller rubber bumper to the mounting arm to keep it from marring the wall when fully collapsed against it. Just one side, as when moved to the other side it touches off on the wall opening housing.Secondly I bought the bigger bolts from a hardware store, that could still fit through the wall mounting holes on the bracket. I simply don’t trust bolts and screws from China, as I’ve had some others (not these) break. So an additional 50 cents for bigger bolts could possibly save your $300 monitor from falling.Thirdly, my kids wish the 2 side monitors could be swung over to towards the middle one, so that all 3 could be used for the racing gaming together, for multi-screen gaming. However, the spacing between them is such that when used separately, people aren’t too close and uncomfortable. So if these arm on this product had an additional 10 inch of reach, then they could serve as both (a) separate computer monitors with comfortable spacing, and (b) then be swung over and used for multi-screen gaming.

Good picture, subpar sound
February 28, 2016
Picture on this set looks great and the input lag is low for playing games (when set to game mode) which is what I bought it for. the sound can be difficult to hear unless turned up quite a bit so I usually turn on a stereo to make up for it--this was a known issue going in so I can't complain too much about it.
The apps seem a little clunky/underpowered/laggy; they take longer than I'd like to boot and if I, for example, start a YouTube video on my iPad and stream it to the TV it will launch the YouTube app, hesitate for a moment like it's going to play the video then load the standard interface like I just launched the app on the TV. Pushing play on the iPad again will show a pop-up w/ a play button which will then play the video on the TV--kinda weird behavior, but a minor inconvenience.
Poor Wifi on a Great TV
November 4, 2015
Now that I have had a few days to enjoy this TV, I wanted to leave a review for others who might need to know about the wireless performance. If not for this problem, I would have given a 5 star review.

I tried the wireless in three locations with less than stellar results. At my home, the signal strength was less than I expected for the location. This should have been a clue that I would have problems at other locations. At the first remote location, I was not able to see the closest and strongest wifi signal, though cell phones, a FireTV and Kindles were easily able to stream HD video from it. Even entering the SSID and IP addresses manually did not let the TV see the hotspot. At the second location, the TV could connect with the wifi hotspot, though streaming video from Netflix and Amazon Prime was unacceptable due to continual buffering delays. Hooking up the TV via FireTV stick worked flawlessly, as did phones and Kindles.

The net result is that the poor wifi turns this smart TV into a pretty dumb one!

Overall, I would give the TV a B grade, with wifi getting a D- and everything else an A.
Really nice TV for this price point
September 10, 2015
This is a great TV without a doubt, picture quality is very good especially after you tweak it a bit. A great feature is the audio digital out which delivers bitstream regardless of source so the receiver can decode whatever comes in. My [more expensive] Samsung cannot do this and delivers only PCM or DTS:Neo for the apps like Netflix etc.
Having the 2 feet make it more stable for such a big screen if you dont wall mount and the small frame looks really good. The remote is not the best with no backlight and squishy buttons but I used a Harmony universal remote anyway so no biggie for me. I got this for a family member and wish I had kept this one and given them the Samsung which says it all really.
So "Smart", it forgot how to TV

This TV worked great, for 2 days. Then it just started freezing after you start it and try to execute any menu commands. I called customer service (Vizio) and the troubleshooting steps verified that it was defective. No repairs or replacement options are available for this model, so they've told me I have to send them pictures proving the TV freezes (aren't all pictures frozen?) along with proof of purchase and they'll let me know what's next. I'll update the post once I learn more.

My primary mistake: I tossed the box to the TV after a couple of days of it working. If I hadn't, maybe I could have just returned it through the more friendly Amazon method :(

**Update: After awaiting a promised call from Vizio that never came, i contacted them and they instructed me to mail them the TV back for a refund . No prepaid shipping or anything. I decided to call Amazon and they were brilliant. Replaced the TV and provided return labels for the busted one!

My replacement hasn't had any issues. I suspect that my original froze when I connected it to my PC via the Plex app to use it as a media server. I didn't set that up on my replacement TV and haven't had any issues. That may not have been the cause, but I thought I'd share in case it helps anyone.

**12/2015 UPDATE**
So far, no issues with the replacement TV. I watch Hulu, Netflix, Amazon VOD, Crackle and even movies off of my USB drive (MP4 format) and haven't had any issues. Bumped the rating up to 4 stars now. Still can't give 5 because of the poor customer support from Vizio.

**12/2016 UPDATE**
Still using the TV and it works great. Someone on YouTube found a fix for my original issue, which involves resetting the TV's network card, but i haven't needed it. Really love being able to play movies off of a flash drive!
Buy, buy, buy!
July 21, 2015
I've had this television for about a week now, and all in all, it's definitely a worthwhile purchase. But with all its pros come some cons. So let's break this package down, and take a look at why you should buy this TV if you're in the market for a thirty-two-inch, and why you should be prepared to not completely love it.

First, the pros--

1. This television's wireless. No Roku, no Chromecast, no Fire TV needed. You just open up the settings, find your network, plug in your password, and...voila. You're ready to be disappointed by the latest season of Orange is the New Black.

2. This television has a native refresh rate of one-hundred-twenty hertz, with a simulated refresh of--I think--two-forty.That's not something you see in a lot of thirty-two inch budget sets. Most sit at around sixty hertz, which is fine if you'd like to pretend you're living in 1847, but this modern America, dagnabit. I want my one-hundred-twenty hertz of smooth motion goodness, and I'm not settling for anything less. And speaking of picture quality...

3. It's 1080p. Says it right in the title, but I thought I'd remind you in case you'd forgotten already.

4. It's cheap! And I don't mean cheap in terms of build-quality. That's actually pretty good, which I'll elaborate on in my next point. No, when I say cheap, I mean most sets with these specs at this size would be going for AT LEAST a hundred dollars more. And even most of the ones sitting at THAT price range will be trading off for either 720p or sixty hertz to keep the price down. What Vizio's offering here is an amazing deal, and Amazon's sweetened the pot with an extra ten dollars off for Prime members. Even Costco isn't selling them that cheap. Then again, you can't pick up a hot dog and a drink for a dollar-fifty while you're on Amazon. Or at least, you shouldn't.

5. The build quality--it's actually pretty good.

6. The smart menu's easy to access, unobtrusive, and looks about as good as a smart menu can look.

Okay, now, on to the cons--

1. The smart menu feels a little cluttered. It's got a lot of apps most people won't need, and despite an admittedly short time playing with it, I have yet to figure out how to remove the ones I don't use.

2. For having such great specs, the picture quality on this TV doesn't blow me away the same way my fifty does or my old forty. I'm not sure why that is--maybe it's a setting I've missed--but that realism just isn't there to the same degree.

3. It's thick. Not huge, mind you, but thicker than some of its counterparts. Did this bother me? No. But for some, I know, thickness is a big factor, either for practical reasons or bragging rights. Because, you know...that's a thing, I guess.

4. There's no digital audio out. There's optical, sure, because that's the future. And there's RCA, because...that's the past? But my RS-160s are located in the present, and they operate on digital. Now, this obviously isn't a HUGE deal, since you can spend thirteen dollars to convert your optical to digital, or spent four and change on some RCA adapters, but if you use headphones or a sound system reliant on a digital audio out port, be sure you order some kind of adapter to get it working with this set right out of the box. Because apparently, RCA's still a big deal, but your headphones are a thing of the past.

In conclusion, this is an amazing deal for a great TV, and despite some very minor flaws, I'd recommend this to anyone looking to spruce up their dorm room, bedroom, office, or studio with a sleek budget television.

Great cheap mount
February 8, 2017
Decently made monitor mount. I'm using it to hold up a 25" LG 2k monitor and it does just fine. Everything is completely adjustable so if it is too hard to move the arm you just need to loosen the bolts a little. I found it difficult to utilize the tilt function and it seemed to be holding too much. I didn't want to strain my monitor too much to tilt it but I managed to get it where it needs to be. At full extension when pushed back you can see the mount poke out the side, even with my 25" monitor. One thing to note, the LG monitor I have has the VESA holes inset into a pocket. This mount was able to sit flush into that pocket without interfering with the sides of the pockets.
The tilt is difficult at times, but the product is great for the price! Easy to install!
September 7, 2016
I purchased this wall mount to display a security monitor for my small business. For the price of the mount, I thought it was a GREAT buy. Upon receiving the product, the instructions were easy to follow as long as you have the appropriate tools. In total, the mount took about 15 minutes to install. The reason for the 4 star rating is that the maneuverability of the mount can be difficult at times. I installed the mount at eye level, and have trouble with the glare from my overhead lighting. In hindsight, I should have thought about that prior to installing, however I figured with the tilt of the mount it should be fine. All things considered, it meets my needs and helps me keep my business secure!
Will work but proper level for alignment of multiple monitors is CRITICAL!!
April 18, 2016
I took the risk and bought these cheap monitor wall mounts. I got three of them for around $12 a pop! I knew there wouldn't be much room for error when it came to wall mounting three of these since I needed them all perfectly aligned and straight so my monitors would be of even height. I could have gone for one of the more expensive mounts that had more adjust ability should your monitors not match up on first installation. There is height adjust and maybe some sideways adjustment. These mounts had a little side adjustment but no height adjustment if I mounted these triple mounts one slightly lower or higher than the other. That would leave me with uneven monitors of noticeably height differences. I didn't want that at all. However careful planning of the height I wanted my monitors to be at and the use of a laser level (critical) enabled me to get an almost perfect top alignment of my three monitors. My left monitor is very slightly a teeny bit lower than my middle monitor but it is hardly noticeable and I can live with it. Since as I said it is hardly noticeable.Anyone looking at my monitors would hardly likely see the difference unless they were specifically looking or I pointed it out to them. In other words it isn't noticeable to the point where when you look at my monitors its the first thing you see. My reason for deducting one star was because while these monitors seemed well built they are easily scratched and the paint removed, so be careful with accidentally banging them against the wall or any other metal or solid structure it may ruin their paint job.Other than that I would recommend them if you were on a budget and looking to save some cash from the more expensive alternatives. Just remember if you are installing mounts for more than one monitor which you would like to have in perfect alignment with each other a laser level or some form of level to get you a straight an accurate line for mount placement is critical.
Sturdy, yet flexible for my 24" TV
March 13, 2016
Works near flawlessly with my Orion 24" TV. Comes out at a perfect length, as I have it at the end of my bed. It is very sturdy metal, and the plastic piece did not break, as I saw on other reviews. The only reason it is not a 5-star review might be a problem on my end. The part that connects to the wall is at an angle, because the screw is not holding on my wall, despite being on a stud, and the bottom hole for the screw is wider than it is long, making the weight of the TV weigh it down. It is hard to explain, but I think purchasing the plastic bits for drywall screws that expand would solve this problem.Pros:-Sturdy (stays in place)-Good metal-Articulating mount stiffness can be adjusted-Orientation of TV is easily adjusted with a screwCons:-Screws do not hold tight
Good, but you will need to run to the hardware store
July 30, 2015
Good solid mount. Easy to deal with and mount. A couple of cons that you need to be aware of: 1) there are no washers included as depicted in the instructions, so you'll need to buy some fender washers to go with them and 2) the screws they include to attach the TV to the mount are not long enough if you are using the extension arms with washers.
I was able to hammer it back but not having to go through this effort would have been nice. I'm otherwise very happy with this m
June 8, 2015
The hinge between the double-arm and the wall mount was very, very hard to move. I needed to move it in order to install it (I installed in a corner with a wall to the right, so I needed the arm to either be straight out or to the left). In order to do so I had to use a two screw drivers through the screw holes in the base plate to provide leverage, in doing so bending the base plate. I was able to hammer it back but not having to go through this effort would have been nice. I'm otherwise very happy with this mount.

Picture quality noticeably worse than upper end TVs.
June 20, 2016
Just a little background but I have previously owned Sony Bravia series, Samsung and LG TVs, the top end television brands. I was also a professional photographer and have spent hundreds of hours color correcting images. I also took a semester in college of color theory. So, although I am not a LED TV expert, I do know a lot about images, color and sharpness.

The image on this television leans too much to the cyan side (cool blue color). Additionally, the clarity and pixel density appear to be lower than the more premium brands. Not all 1080ps are equal. Some televisions more efficiently display 1080p than others. When I tried to correct for the cyan it didn't quite color correct and went into the reds too much (the opposite of cyan). The color didn't really balance. To this TV's credit computer cartoons like "UP" or "Ice Age" look really good. Video games also look really good on this set. Computer generated cartoons and video games looked as clear, bright and colorful as any premium TV, however it was live action shots that had issues.

This might not be an issue for some people and they may not be color snobs like me. However, if your previous TV was a premium one and you are expecting the same image quality here, then you should manage your expectations. The image, in most cases, will be somewhat noticeably inferior. If this is your first television (and you've never owned a premium brand TV before), then you probably won't notice it.

Another issue with this television is that although the Smart TV user interface and functionality is good, the WiFi receiver on this thing is bad (as others have said). Okay, my WiFi router isn't very close, but I had to attach a Roku to this thing to get a decent signal. The Roku 2's WiFi receiver is infinitely better than Vizio's internal WiFi receiver. I don't understand the point of having good Smart TV functionality if you are gonna stick a bad WiFi receiver onto your TV? Anyways, just saying your WiFi router better be close. Real close or you'll need to ditch this TV's Smart functions and get yourself a Roku.

Overall, in this world, you get what you pay for. This TV, in my opinion, is just good and okay. Three, maybe three and a half, stars.
hardware ok, software not so good
March 29, 2016
This TV is ok after I got it to work; however, there are some things a buyer should know before purchasing:
a) The TV is thicker than one might expect for a flat screen LCD display in 2016
b) The remote is a bit clunky and slow in responsiveness
c) The Amazon button doesn't do anything
d) I don't know why there is an iHeart radio button on the remote; it should be dedicated to Hulu (much more likely to be useful)
e) The V button on the remote is supposed to show a full apps menu when double clicked: instead it is not possible to get the full apps menu as described in the quick guide.
f) Setting up Internet seems pretty straightforward and the image quality is decent, so yay for that.
g) If you, like me, don't care about setting up the TV for cable, antenna, or other and instead skip that part of the setup, beware: the TV apparently doesn't allow you to setup your apps unless you go through the TV channel guide scan first. Every time I tried to set up Netflix, it kept telling me to set up my Internet even though I had already done that, and I tried with both Ethernet cable and WiFi. Same results for Amazon and Hulu. It wasn't until I figured a moron had perhaps programmed the setup process that I decided to go through the TV antenna channel scan first, then turned off the TV (very important), then turned it back on again, and then tried to set up Netflix that it actually gave me the expected login screen for Netflix. After setting up Netflix, I tried the Amazon app, which again told me to set up my Internet. I again turned the TV off, waited a minute, turned it back on again, and voila, I was presented with the Amazon login screen. Then Hulu, and I was done.
Now I am able finally to use the TV as expected, but... if you think, like me, that this should have been a much better experience, I would probably avoid this TV in favor of a Samsung or Sony or Sharp.
At this point, I don't think I will return the TV since I got it working, but if I had known, I would have avoided this TV and bought something from a more reputable brand than Vizio. You will undoubtedly end up paying more, but probably getting a better product.
Great picture but needs updating
December 6, 2015
Great picture, Very easy set up. Loved that it had amazon and netflix built right into it plus many more apps but they seem very outdated and do not work very well. The built in wifi is not very good and when we do use the built in apps they do not run well and are very fuzzy. We had to end up connecting our apple tv for a better picture to use the same apps that the built in firestick had. The tv does have an ethernet port in the back but it's not a practical position because not many people will have internet directly behind their tv. On a positive note all the connections in the back hdmi, power, component are all pointing down making it easily mountable.
Decent, but it's watching you
November 28, 2015
First: a major complaint: the default setting lets your TV watch YOU. I don't want my viewing habits passed along to the manufacturer and marketers, so I turned off that setting. But I only learned about this "feature" by reading something in a tech article. Shame on VIZIO and other manufacturers who are doing this. It's completely slimy, and I probably wouldn't purchase from VIZIO again.

That said, the TV works well, has a good picture quality, and was relatively easy to set up. I've had some trouble with the "smart" functions; it doesn't play nicely with my DirecTV remote, and the remote that comes with it is ridiculously complicated, hard to see, and generally annoys me on a regular basis. I end up using my DirecTV remote because at least I can see what's on it.

The sound is mediocre at best, but I use headphones much of the time so that's less of a problem. I'd strongly suggest purchasing separate audio equipment.

November 8, 2015
I read a few of the reviews before buying this product, so I was aware of the issues. My daughters loves it. Out of the box I had issues with setting the internet connection, I had to reset back to factory default several times with support on the phone. I got the Amazon Prime app to connect once, has not work since. Netflix works fine. My primary issue with the TV is the wireless connection, when I read the others who had problem with WIFI I regretfully dismissed it as people who are non-technical since my primary job is a Wireless Engineer, well guess what the WIFI sucks on the TV, I had to run a RJ45 cable to TV.

Technical support was very helpfully but very lacking in pieces i needed help with the most, getting Amazon Prime to work. The TV is worth the money I paid for it lacking the wireless issues.

May 16, 2017
This unit is as advertised with three exceptions:1) the metal is not of sufficient gauge or thickness to keep it's pieces free from warping stress.2) the mount is one piece so you cannot adjust centering of the TV without moving the ENTIRE MOUNT on the wall. In other words, it would be better if the TV plate and hinges were on a secondary plate that could be slid left or right to center it.I had to use 2 anchors and move the whole thing to the left to fir my space so only 2 bolts were in a single stud.I used wingits for a good strong Sheetrock mount.3) the TILT function is WEAK. only small screws and washers to hold it. 4 of them as tight as possible and the TV just rolls all the way down.I have added bolts to the curved space after setting TILT correct, locking it down permanently. For the price, pretty good and its working pretty good.

ahhh! I should have read the reviews before purchasing this wall mount, it does not work for a 32" inch Samsung.. I repeat it DOES NOT work for a 32" inch Samsung. Unless you want to go to the hardware store until you find the right screws then this wall mount works just fine.. i wish someone would have put the right measurement of the screws.the ones I got were M8 -1.25 x 25mm hope that helps!
Pretty good for a cheap mount and quick delivery
April 6, 2016
I actually purchased this monitor mount for an embedded screen in my outdoor tool shed that also houses my outdoor camera system and DVR. I had a limited shelf size for the monitor which was pretty heavy. I debated building my own mount or holder, but thought a few bucks could save me a lot of time.It has defintely saved some time, though its still too loose to be too effective.I have mounted 6 large screen tv's on swivel mounts, so they could easily and safely be reangled for easy viewing in different parts of a room.In this scenario, I want the arms easily swingable but tight enough that it doesn't catch against the half inch on top and bottom to the shelves. While it doesn't do that perfectly, it does it well enough. Its a cheap monitor, so its heavier. To hold it with little +/- height-wise while not being too loose to rotate, thats a tough challenge. All that being said, it does it sufficiently and at a great price. Just not perfect for what I was trying.
Poorly located screw hole makes installation difficult
November 20, 2015
Two issues with this.1) It is rather difficult to install, because whoever designed it did not leave enough clearance between the bottom end of the hinge and the hole for the bottom lag screw. You cannot use a socket driver to screw in the bottom screw. You have to use a wrench, which makes it take about 10 times longer than it should have. (The top screw was no problem.)2) The unit is supposed to allow both tilt and swivel. The swivel works fine (although I'm not sure why you would want to position your TV on an angle). But the tilt, which is supposed to be +/-15 degrees, does not work. Maybe it's just tight and I need to apply more pressure. But I don't want to risk breaking the back of the TV. Maybe I will remove the TV and try working the swivel more forcefully by itself to see if it will loosen up a bit.Once installed, it works fine (except for the tilt problem).
Functional, but limited tilt range--may work for you (not for me)
July 12, 2015
I have 3 similar and wasn't paying attention when I ordered this one. Yes, it folds in and out of the wall fairly easily (although a bit stiff, no biggie). The TV mount detaches so you can attach it to your TV, then "hang" it on the mount and secure using 2 screws--very nice! The real killer for me though is it only tilts 15 degrees up and down. This means it needs to be mounted at about head height for optimal viewing. I intended to mount it above my monitor and tilt down. With this limited angle, it is OK, but the picture quality is not near as good as when I stand up. Also, as several earlier reviewers commented, that lower bolt install is a challenge (and I have the skinned knuckles to prove it!)--BTW it's a 1/2" head, box head wrench worked much better than the stamped "wrench" they ship in the box.
If Your TV Sags After Installation, Read Edit...
September 27, 2013
My story is exactly the same as another reviewer who gave this 1 star. I have a 26" Vizio TV. First, I couldn't use the screws included with the kit because they were too long for my TV. I went to Home Depot and bought the right size screws to attach my TV to the mount. I installed the mount to my wall and attached my TV. My TV sags completely downward. Doesn't seem to be a way to tighten the screw enough to prevent this. The tilt mechanism on the mount isn't strong enough to hold straight a larger, heavier TV. This mount should have been rated up to a certain weight. Over that weight and the TV will tilt severely downward. If you have a TV over 20" or a slightly heavier LCD TV, buy another product.Edit: After posting review, I continued to look for a solution. I looked through the pictures of the mount on Amazon and noticed that one of the pictures mentioned that the vesa plate is detachable. I removed my TV from the mount, then removed the vesa plate. Once removed, it was much easier to tighten the bolt that controls the tilt and I was able to tighten the bolt enough so that my TV is no longer sagging. Doesn't seem that sturdy, but at least for now, the mount is working the TV is straight.

Cannot Handle Hulu
October 12, 2016
TV itself isn't bad but it can't go more than 10 minutes on Hulu without freezing up. A computer and a tablet placed right next to the TV do not experience this issue and it seems isolated to the TV iteself. There are a ton of forums on this issue that I discovered only after I subscribed to Hulu. If you are a cord cutter then factor in the price of a Roku or similar device because it cannot handle Hulu at all. It does do fine with other services such as Amazon and Netflix.
Dissapointed
September 8, 2016
I liked the TV. The picture was quite good. The remote was relatively user friendly and set up was easy. Adjusting the set was a breeze. BUT, I was very disappointed when after two weeks of use the input function started to falter. I really wanted to keep the set. However, knowing the hassles of trying to get it repaired, I decided to return it for a refund before the return period lapsed. I would say that it is a good value for $450 or under. After watching prices for months I got mine for $379 (new, original box). Prices vary hugely over an extended period of time.
30 day review - Ok for the price
February 11, 2016
Hard-wired to Internet
Pros:
-Opens Amazon Video and Netflix in less than 10secs
-Cheap
Cons:
-Sound is disappointing. Constant hiss from speakers. Highs frequencies sound distorted even when using optical output to receiver.
-Noticeable light bleed from one spot on upper left edge.
-Difficult to get the picture to look right. Lots of background blurr with motion.
-Locked-up once and only reset after unplugging.
Not a smart TV
October 18, 2015
This TV has a nice picture and is a good deal for the price but do not buy it for its smart tv features. The apps are terrible and mostly broken. Do not even think of buying this tv for the Facebook app since it's broken. Just search on the Internet for Facebook on Vizio and you will see for yourself. Also note that there are no apps available that can control the tv in leu of the remote control. That's a serious disappointment.
Vizio Not Performing As Expected
August 6, 2015
I purchased this item specifically because I stream a lot of programming over Net Flix and Amazon and the size is perfect for the space in my home office. The streamed programs buffered too frequently to make viewing enjoyable. I do not have a problem streaming content on my computer, iPhone or Kindle. I concluded the problem was with the TV. I contacted Vizio support via live chat, went through a total reset of the tv as instructed. I was then kicked off the live chat because I was evidently on with the technician too long as he said he would have to end the chat session after 3-5 minutes even though I was having work my way through a total reset up process. The problem was not resolved, and I could not get the screen size to readjust on regular broadcast programs. I believe I will constantly have problems with this TV and have decided to return it. I guess you get what you pay for.

Not a fan of this tilt design, rest of the mount seems fine
September 28, 2017
I was looking for a basic mount for over, and off to the side of a sink. This one feels sturdy generally, but the tilt mechanism is a weal point. It has a black plastic disk in the middle of the TV end of the mount that was already cracked when it arrived. This disk is held on by one small bolt of unknown quality that is very difficult to access once the TV is mounted.I would not recommend this mount to anyone, especially if you are intending to ever adjust the tilt angle. I have returned it and ordered a different style.Shipping was fast and returning it was easy through Amazon Prime.
Sturdy but a Pain to install
September 5, 2017
I bought this mount because it good reviews and didn't cost an arm and a leg. Well you know the saying you get what you pay for? In this case it is somewhat true, the mount itself seems very sturdy and is a nice quality. It has been installing it that has been the issue. The screws that come with the tv are ridiculously to short and to skinny in diameter. So instead if this being a one day project that took a couple of hours it is now going to cross into a third day, and three trips to the hardware store to find screws/bolts that fit the bracket and the tv. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get it finished, but having to go buy parts (and then have to find/buy he right parts) is not what I wanted to spend my holiday weekend doing. The picture is of the screw size that worked for me, so hopefully the next person will only have to run to the hardware store once.
Not Recommended
June 18, 2017
The mount is sturdy, installs easily and has no problem holding my 39" TV. The problem is that it will not stop swiveling. The TV will tilt to one side or the other no matter how tight you make the bolt. Had to take the back bracket apart and super glue the swivel section together and then super tighten the bolt to secure in to position. Hoping this works. Would not recommend this product just based on this necessary task.
Don't bother with this.
May 15, 2017
While the product has a decent build quality, it in fact DOES NOT fit lots of 17-39" LCD LED televisions, as is advertised. Also, you will find, in small print, that you can order (at an additional expense), extension brackets, for most of your 17-39" televisions - at an expense that is on par with what you can expect to pay in a retail store. Threw it back in the box and shipped it back. I have no time for deceptive advertising. Don't waste your time with this mess.
The first set that we purchased worked perfectly fine. The second set however were a different story
April 1, 2016
This is my second time buying a set of these wall brackets. The first set that we purchased worked perfectly fine. The second set however were a different story. I reordered the same brackets but were sent a different model. I measured everything out, all lines were level and pilot holes were marked etc. Mounted the 22" monitors on each of the brackets and extended the brackets out. One of the brackets had more than a 1/4 in "play" on it. In other words, one monitor was lower then the other one with everything being lined up. Wound up having to raise on bracket over a 1/4 in to make the monitors level.
Won't keep monitor rotated or untilted.
May 28, 2015
Wish I had spent more. The wall bracket is of decent quality, but the part that attaches to the back of the screen is poorly designed. It allows about a 15 degree tilt in any direction (note, that's in addition to the 360 degree rotation!) but it's nearly impossible to tighten the bracket enough to keep the screen from tilting down. In addition, unless you screen is perfectly weighted, good luck trying to keep it rotated 90 degrees - again, not being able to keep the bracket tight means the heaviest part of your monitor (almost always the bottom in landscape mode) will rotate to be the bottom. It's infuriating! However, if you can live without the rotation and a permanent 15 degree downward tilt, this this is a nice mount.

They do not stand behind their warranty tv will die on you! Run!!
May 12, 2017
Don't buy from Vizio! They do not stand behind their products. Called and filed a claim within the warranty period and then started having the same problem a few months later and the tv died. They said they would replace it, but oops the warranty was no longer in effect so I got screwed out of a replacement. The screen just went crazy. It happened within warranty, but it sputtered back to life and lasted a couple more months. Just long enough to be out of warranty and even though I filed a claim within the warranty time they would not do anything about a replacement. Not a partial nothing zero zip. Go to Costco and buy a tv with a real warranty.
Broken already
November 5, 2016
This TV has already broken within a year ! The on off button on back of TV doesnt work nor does the remote and the only to get the tv to turn on is by unplugging the wire from back and plugging back in. Frustrating.
TV has issues
November 4, 2016
I knew I shouldn't have bought a Vizio product. I've had this TV for a year and we hardly watch it... Maybe 3-4 times a month. My mother-in-law is staying with us now and watches TV all day... This TV turns off for no reason or starts blinking red, blue and green in the middle of TV shows. Sometimes it won't even turn on. I have to unplug it every time to get it back on track.

It has decent picture and audio but its no award winner... But none of that matters if it turns off for no reason.
(Other TVs in th home work fine with Netflix)
March 31, 2016
I bought this TV to have the capability of Netflix. Netflix would not work on this TV, right out of the box. (Other TVs in th home work fine with Netflix). Vizio instructed me to return the TV for repair, which I did. That was a 2 week process. After the repair, we re- installed the TV. Netflix still would not work. I had Vizio on the phone going through each step. Finally, she states that she will have to replace the TV since it has already been 'repaired' once. What!! Another 2 week process?! This is the catch...I purchased a brand new TV, but Vizio wants to replace it with a 'certified TV' (used). If I wanted a used TV, I would have bought one at the Good Will. Vizio...never again!
Bad Buy
August 17, 2015
Had to unplug and plug back in in order to turn the TV on. Once it was on, if you used one function button (i.e. volume) you could not use another function without turning the TV off and on (after unplugging and plugging back in). Very frustrating! TV is being returned!

Comes up short...
December 7, 2016
None of the hardware for this mount fits properly. Unless you're using this on the smallest VESA configuration, you need to attach adapter pieces to the mount. The screws provided are not long enough to go thru the adapter, mount and nut. As a result they easily back out and do not securely hold the TV.In addition, the screws provided to attach the mount to the TV are way to short, after passing thru the mount they do not engage with the threads on the back of the TV, even when omitting the washers provided.I'd return it, but stupid me followed the instructions and mounted it to the wall before the TV. So now I'd have to find a mount with the same bolt pattern on the wall, or just buy all new screws for this one.

better, fix
November 29, 2014
Although my small, flat panel monitor is within the product limits, I have not been able to stop the screen from rotating counter clockwise. I have removed it, tightened the swivel control nut twice, added a lock washer, and still it starts to rotate, although somewhat less. After three installations without success, I'm going to look for another "small" mounting fixture, unless I hear from the manufacturer about another, better, fix.
not what shown
February 18, 2014
What I received was not what is shown, Far from it.. What I received you can not tilt like shown and it does not have the versa plate for quick installation or release. There was not the package of screws and tool like shown no instructions. It is just not what was shown. Seller should have the decency to at least ask you if he can send a different item then shown
Bolts holes are obstructed
January 13, 2014
This product does work as advertised however it has a major mechanical flaw. The mounting holes for the bracket are right behind swivel pin! What does this mean? You need a wrench to finish the job. If you use the supplied wrench (cheap and small) you will strip the bolt. Unfortunately I bought 2 of these. I have seen in Microcenter and other electronic shops the same style bracket yet the mounting holes are not obstructed. Ideally you can use your cordless drill on low speed with a hex driver to mount to secure the mounting screws. What should take 10 minutes takes 45-60 min. There are better products to buy. Again the product does work as advertised.
Stiff, uncooperative and missing parts.
October 13, 2013
I actually purchased 2 of these at the same time I purchased my 2 VIZIO E-Series E241i-A1 24-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED Smart HDTVs.However, the items were both missing a vital set of rubber washers, mentioned/pictured/used in the Assembly Guide. To top it off, I was pleased by the sturdiness of the construction, but they were awkward to try to mount , are very stiff ,and very small 'window' allowed for proper adjustment of screen.Contacted the individual seller, but would not make good on them,so will have to be replaced as soon as the extra money is available to do so.
