| Awesome Suzuki harmonicaDecember 25, 2016 OMG ! i love this harmonica, it feels and sounds awesome. I tried a 2 other harmonica's that i had around the house that had not been used in years and they were light and the sound was not rich, cheap would be a better answer. I am a beginner still but recently tried to give learning another go but this makes things easier because of the quality. It comes in a good solid protective box which can be a little tricky to open.Love this item and if i carry on i will buy the rest of the keys from suzuki Beautifully made, Beautiful soundSeptember 30, 2016 Wow. Beautifully made and sounding. Smooth. Love the heavier metal comb that gives it "weight." It is a very nice Promaster harp, with a black-enameled brass cover and black coated aluminum comb. It does not really sound like a Hammond organ anymore than the normal Promasters. Note, the similar looking but MUCH more expensive Suzuki Fabulous harps have longer reed-slots like German harps, as do the newer Suzuki Manji and Olive harps. If you're looking at this, check out the Olive also. Either is superb. Suzuki makes great harmonicasOctober 18, 2015 I'm no pro, but this is the best harmonic I've ever owned. My only complaint is that it's a little bit breathy, by that I mean the reeds move under a very low pressure which makes bending for the Blues a little bit harder than expected. Most sources seem to recommend the key of C, and a good quality harmonica--at least $30 or so. So I decided on this Suzuki based on several reasons--it is in the key of C, Suzuki is among the handful of companies in the world making high quality harps, and this particular model--the Promaster Hammond--has received great reviews both here on Amazon and by other reviewers on the Internet. So far, I have found it to be an excellent choice! The tone is quite beautiful--as other reviewers here have noted, and it seems solidly made and beautifully finished. It has some weight to it, so it just feels good to hold. So, if you are interested in this harmonica but "on the fence" I really think you be very pleased if you go ahead and buy it! amazing harmonicaDecember 29, 2012 I am not an expert harmonica player, but do have 8 of various makes and keys. This Suzuki Promaster Hammond (C) is one beautiful instrument. It is finely made, hefty, easy to play and convinced me that my Hoeners (and one Oskar) aren't the only harmonicas. Use the CD to get a feel of the rhythm and learn the basics. A few sips (not too much!) of wine (or any beverage) to relax a bit and keep your lips moist and you will be surprised at the music you can make in such a short time with this book. If you have grandchildren (I have two) they make a great audience for a short time. The older we are, the longer it takes to learn music, this book helps to get you playing faster. I dont have the skill or knowledge to replace the reeds, and im not sure what kind to purchase for this harmonica. | One StarJanuary 8, 2017 one note bad on arrival Poor responding 2 hole.May 3, 2016 Hole 2, draw, G cord didn't produce the right sound out of the box. It was hard to draw in to produce a sound. And when it did it was dead. Clearly not right. All the others played with ease and sounded great. Very disappointing. I liked everything else about it.
