Lightweight, Sturdy, and Compact
August 14, 2017
We bought this for my wife, and chosen due to the excellent quality of my Hugo rollator. This one folds up much more compactly than the usual front-back folding rollators, like I have, so it'll fit well into smaller vehicles. The light weight makes it easy to handle, yet it's still very sturdy.I have rarely found such design and build quality, so I can recommend this more highly than any other brand I've had a chance to look at in person.
Good light weight walker.
July 8, 2017
Bought this for my Dad, 95 years old. He loves the seat, and how it folds into the car with little effort, and has storage for water or items needed for trips to Dr. etc. Have had this since October of 2016, worked great until 4th of July parade 2017. One of the smaller wheels popped off while Dad was sitting on it watching parade. Fortunately an Engineer was standing next to Dad and fixed the wheel. Now I worry something else may pop off. Looking for another more sturdy walker. Was good for almost 1 year.
It has allowed him great mobility after a hip fracture and poor vision
August 22, 2016
I just bought the second Hugo Sidekick for my 87 year old dad. He called me panicked this morning after he ran over it with his truck. He is devastated as he loves this thing! It has allowed him great mobility after a hip fracture and poor vision. He uses it mainly in the yard over uneven ground, as that tends to be where he falls. He can go pretty fast with it. I thought about buying something different for his second rollator, but I didn't see much in the way of advantages until you get to the $500-$600 range, which is more than I want to spend (he may just run over it again). So I'm buying the same product--maybe I should just buy it in a different color this time!

This style of a side folding has many advantages compared to the more traditional units that fold from to back. One is that you can fold it and park it next to a table without it falling over. The build quality is very good with real ball bearings at all the wheels and pivots. Finally the larger front wheel diameter makes it easier to roll over thresholds and uneven pavement. Oh, almost forgot. Assembly was a snap with excellent illustrated instructions.
pieces marked for easy assembly, 20 minutes to put together
December 5, 2014
This walker is everything the manufacturer claims. High quality material, well packaged for shipping, pieces marked for easy assembly, 20 minutes to put together. It is very easy to fold for storage in the car trunk or other places such as a restaurant. Openimg the folded walker back up is basically a one step simple operation. The walker handles easily, and the mesh bag in front holds your stuff without falling out. The weight is a little more than some other walkers we used, but this makes it sturdy and keeps the components aligned properly for the fold/unfold movement. We thought the small rear wheels might be an issue, but they have proven not to be an issue at all.We have also had several positive compliments about the tangerine color. We are well satisfied with the unit and the price seems in line for the higher level of quality.
Great Walker
June 16, 2014
I chose this walker because the storage area folds when the walker is folded. Other walkers have a hard metal basket that has to be removed to fold the walker. Also the back rest is comfortable to lean back when sitting. It is light weight so I can drive and then take it out of the back seat without assistance. One thing to consider is that if a person wants to turn the walker around and sit on it at the table to eat, the handle bars are too high. This is not a problem for me.I highly recommend this walker to baby boomers who have difficulty walking.

Fits transport wheelchair perfectly
August 13, 2017
Fits the transport wheelchair perfectly! My grandmother puts her water bottle in it as I wheel her from to room or the doctors office. Very pleased with this item and am happy that I made the purchase. Received exactly as described. Does what the product description has written about the item. Would purchase this item again and would also recommend to others.
Handy for rollator walkers and wheel chairs
May 24, 2017
This is good to use on a rollator walker. It was a little difficult to put on at first because the little screw nob seemed like it was too short of a screw. It will fit most any width bar. They have a little piece of rubber to use if the bar on the walker is too small. I keep a little plastic glass in the cup holder because unless you buy a Slurpee at a 7-11 all other cups will be too small. You want to make sure you have a lid on your drink.

I think they are good units. I connected two to a walker - once side for her drink and the other side for her cane and drilled a hole in that one and just ran some tape around the cane so it wouldn't slide through. You'll want to make sure you really tighten them so they don't move around.
GREAT FOR MUSICIANS!!
February 5, 2017
Writing a review after buying two so far. As a musician (drummer) this thing is a great add on to any drum kit! Bought a second one for my guitarist. These cup holders will fit any standard pipe for drums/mic stands. Great stuff here! It even comes with rubber spacers in case whatever you are mounting to is *just* too small. Very sturdy plastic, will hold full glass 40 oz bottles and anything smaller.Great product, simple, and it gets laughs because I drive the drums, and thusly, the band. lol.

Perfect for teachers with heavy briefcases, suddenly on walkers!
November 7, 2017
These hooks have certainly bailed my professor-husband out of a real bind! I found them here on Amazon while looking for items that might make the new walker he’ll be needing for a while more functional as he navigates his way to classes and meetings. His greatest concern, of course, was how to carry with him his briefcase that bulges from all his papers and his computer. We were both delighted that the metal hook itself was designed to be wide enough to easily accommodate the width of his attache’s handle. It slips both easily in and out. Also, we both thought the Velcro strap could in no way support the heaviness of his briefcase, but we were quickly proven wrong on that — there was no problem at all. These “Think King Jumbo Swirly Hooks” are incredibly strong and have solved the most important problem he faced upon finding out his hands were going to be pushing a walker instead of carrying what he needs most in order to continue teaching. These hooks are career-savers!
Every parent should have one
September 29, 2017
I love this thing. I use it on my stroller to carry the diaper bag, and it holds it (al 10 lbs) without any issues and keeps the stroller base basket free for groceries and what not. It's also super secure around the stroller handle, so I don't have to worry about it falling off or slipping around. I highly recommend!!

Handy and convenient for travelling, among other uses
April 7, 2016
It's a sturdy hook, with a Velcro attachment that means it can be quickly and easily added onto mobility devices like wheelchairs and walkers, used to carry bags, and easily removed. It's better for smaller bags, like purses, knitting bags, and laptop bags; I do not think it would work well with suitcases. But it's perfect for what it does!

A must have for wheelchairs
April 10, 2014
I have been consistently baffled by how to carry certain necessities while pushing myself in my chair. It is extremely important to have the independence to move about while carrying things that I need. I was interested in this based on the fact that it expands for different drink sizes and also folds up. There was a bit of a learning curve on where to place it so my chair could still fold up correctly. Once pushed further down it was a perfect fit! I don't know what I would do without it now!ProsFolds up for easy maneuveringExpands to fit almost any drink sizeThe flat base has a lip that catches any small dripConslooks and feels a bit flimsyIs not easy to move to find the correct placement.Any bump will tilt and adjust the "angle" of the holderAll things considered, it is so important to stay hydrated and being in the chair so often anything that makes it easier to carry what I need is a must have! Would recommend and buy again!
A great cupholder
June 25, 2011
After seeing the product pics, I first installed the cupholder in a similar position. Of course, that increased the effective width of the rollator, which made rolling through narrow areas more difficult. Then it occurred to me that maybe I could mount it inside the frame. Fortunately, the rubber wrap could be removed and reinstalled. So I tried it, after taking some measurements. You can see the result in pics I posted. The seat will still go up and down IF the cupholder is folded up. It works on my Hugo Elite rollator - maybe it won't on other brands. A person will simply have to check and try it.One possible problem: folded up, it takes up about 1¼" away from the seating area. This method of mounting won't work for everyone, obviously.

Nice compact Rollator
January 10, 2017
Mom loves her new Rollator, especially the compact folding and ability for it to stand and roll in the folded position. We really like the ease of folding just by lifting the handle in the seat. So quick. It seems lighter than other rollators of the same weight. Easily fits in the back of my small SUV. I wish it had the flip through back to make it a transporter chair, but mom doesn't mind riding backwards if necessary. There were 2 areas that were difficult to assemble. The back does not attach easily (holes are too small) and the clips for the cables on the bottom required someone much stronger than me.

Assembly was reasonably straightforward. Construction not as strong as others, but certainly adequate for my mother's use. This walker was purchased for portability. Even though it is a full size walker, it folds to a reasonably small size for stowing in trunk or back seat when traveling.

It was everything I had wanted but I was so disappointed to find the front left wheel was offset.... I really needed this item for a an older guest who was visiting from out-of-country so I was unable to exchange it. I have been very worried that this defect might cause a failure and he might fall.

Great to have a drink holding device
June 24, 2017
Probably great with a wheelchair or non-wheel walker but I had a minor concern when mounted to a wheeled walker with seat. There are several places that I can mount the holder; but finding a good spot that does not get in the way when the walker is folded to carry in a car can be a bit of a challenge. Also the write up indicated that it swivels so that a drink won't spill. Mine doesn't, maybe I didn't install it properly but mine doesn't swivel automatically - I can turn it by hand in one plane but it is not free swiveling in both directions. I'm using it and it's nice to have a drink with me. As yet I haven't found anything better at a reasonable price.
It's a nice holder, but the instructions stink
June 10, 2017
It's a nice holder, but the instructions stink. You have to be innovative to install it. Many steps were left out. You have to put the bolt through the cup holder from the inside. The orange center piece on the knob needs to be popped out so you can hold the inside nut in place to be able to attach it to the bold. Make sure you install it U piece on the outside of the rail so the knob will be in the correct position. It took many tries to get it right, but it's very nice once it is attached correctly.
Not quite the right fit.
June 2, 2017
I had some frustration attaching this cup holder due to the fact that the frame on the side of my rollator is just a little too thick for it to fit. I had to put it near the bottom of my rollator which is okay if I'm sitting but not great if I want a drink when I'm walking. I'm disappointed that it won't fit where I want it to yet it was well made and may fit other models better.
... the clamp being so small but product seems rather good in quality
March 25, 2017
haven't been able to install this yet due to the clamp being so small but product seems rather good in quality.pro's: with it mounting via uclip makes it easier and gives us more options for mounting it to the wheelchair.cons: kind of a pain to get the spacer sleeves to stay and they use a lock nut on there which keeps the bolt tight, however that's not what I want. I need to be able to loosen and tighten it a little so I can slide it up and out of the way for transfers from wheelchair to bed.

March 15, 2017
I like ir but screw is not long enough to go through bracket on a 1" tube walker. I had to rig it with zip ties whiv then made it usable. Holder is too big for drinks to sit in and not turn over. I used an old style foam drink holder in it and it now works fine. I would return it if I didn't have to pay for return postage but I made it work with all the rigging I did so I will keep it. Would not buy again and would not recommend unless you are good at improvising.

March 2, 2017
Good Concept & ProductJust got this and installed it on my mom's rollator walker. The instructions are very short..literally only 5 steps. At first it was very difficult to install. Takes some pressure to get the U shape section around the pipe frame. The "orange" screw piece at first wouldn't tighten and kept falling off. After going through the reviews I noticed a previous reviewer mentioned moving the "orange" piece into an "up" position. Went back and tried again and after a few tries was able to move the orange piece. After that I was finally able to assemble the entire setup(tight but successful). So if you're having problems start with moving the orange piece first and see if that helps.

A nice accessory for a rollator
October 19, 2015
An impulse buy, this is a nice addition to my mother's rollator. The basic ergonomics are nice, with a nice big hook, and no sharp edges. After reading the reviews, I won't overload it, but overall, it's plenty strong for our purposes.
Lightweight, convenient, but heavier purses can bend the metal
January 20, 2012
Like anything that you attach to your stroller handle, always be careful of adding too much weight and tipping your stroller with your child in it (or when they get out and it all tips over). These hooks are great in that, they are lightweight, and conveniently for quickly looping on your purse or diaper bag. That said, the metal is a bit soft and a heavy purse (or two purses) can bend the metal. Fortunately, you can bend it back, with not too much force. So, a good idea, but be mindful not to hook on a bunch of grocery bags to it.

Very handy cup holder!
November 30, 2016
I bought this for my mom's rolling walker; it allows her to walk to the dining room of her retirement center and get a thermal cup of coffee and return to her apartment using both hands for the walker. Initially I was not sure if it would hold the weight of the coffee so I positioned it just above the seat of the walker allowing the seat to be a backup brake if it slipped, but so far it has held well. Since it folds up, it takes up little space.
Works pretty much as expected. You will need to get creative to mount to a tube larger than 1" diameter.
August 17, 2016
Works pretty much as expected. If the jaws are more than about halfway open then it won't fold up. Mounting bracket expects a 1" diameter tube. It comes with two pieces of rubber (two thicknesses) to compensate for smaller tube, but forget about anything larger (such as my 1.25" tube). With the jaws wide open it will (barely) hold a 32-ounce squeeze water bottle.
A successful cup holder
June 27, 2013
This cup holder installed easily on my Rollater Walker. I love that he holder is adjustable and can be folder up hen not in use. This allows me to maneuver my walker through tight spaces without the cup holder getting caught on up on things a round me (fences, tight doors, closely packed aisles, etc). I like that the adjustable arms allow me o use varying sizes of cups. However, it does not expand sufficiently to carry some large size drink cups used by restaurants or portable mugs I have at home. Moreover, when you use some large cups or mugs that do fit, the arms fail to maintain a secure hold and the holder often tilts, thus allowing the item to slip out of the arms and fall...creating quite a messy situation. My experience with both these cup holders leave me wondering what sort of tests are done to assure that the holders meet the needs of disabled individuals who need to count on the effectiveness of such items.
Nice product but beware
April 16, 2012
I purchased the Nova cup holder for my Pride Go-Go Elite travel scooter to mount on the steering tiller as I do not use the arm rests. The steering tiller measures 1-3/16" diameter but since nowhere was stated the maximum diameter that the Nova cup holder would fit, I called Nova for an answer. I was told it would fit up to 1-1/4" so I went ahead and ordered it from Amazon. When I received it I found that in no way would it fit. Even the box said it would only fit 3/4" through 1". As a result I modified it to suit my purpose. The unit is well built and nicely designed. If you decide to buy, be sure your application measures no larger than 1" (or possibly 1-1/16") in diameter. Smaller is OK as you can always pad with tape or something. I just wish that Amazon would have indicated the mount size range.

Pre assembly was incorrect!
March 28, 2014
The frame of the rollator was not screwed together correctly. When unfolded, the right handle bar pipe was almost horizontal to the floor.I received the second one, and it turns out that it was just like the first one. Since it seemed unlikely that I received two defective items, I called customer service. After they saw a picture of my frame, they did not know what to make of that and are suppossed to call me back after their product manager takes a look at it.Anyways, my husband took the frame apart and put it together correctly. The items is nice, seems to be of good quality etc, but make sure you have a handy person at your disposition. As far as I can tell, five star product with a zero star problem.

Inexpensive, and worth what it cost.
June 16, 2017
This isn't as "universal" as claimed. I had to purchase a longer bolt to affix it to my knee scooter. Once on, I find that it tilts and can spill the liquid and the cup! It beats no cup holder, but I wish it were more stable. It is pretty large--big enough for coffee cups & my 24 oz Tervis glass. There is really too much room for a typical glass. I need to use a cloth to take up the extra room to provide stability for my drink.
Needs improvement
March 27, 2017
This design leaves much to be desired. But it is useful to transport bottled water and various other items that you just don't have a extra hand for as you're wheeling around. It's very oversized. Meaning, a bottle of water or soda or a can or a coffee mug is going to move around because of all the extra space. It would be nice if you could adjust the diameter so it would encircle the item that you were putting into the space. Works well so long as whatever you are transporting, if it's liquid, has a lid or a cap.
Doesn't fit standard walker hospital issued
January 7, 2017
This Drive Medical Universal Cup holder would not fit a standard hospital issue walker. This was very disappointing. My daughter broke her ankle and was looking forward to a cup holder. Being determined, she used duct tape and built up around the cross bar in order for it to fit. It is now functional. The cross bar was too small, using the removable insert made it too large. Vertical bars were way too big. Aattaching photo showing the installed cup. It is holding fine even through lifting and placing back on ground.

We bought this to use on a two wheel oxygen tank cylinder cart carrier. It works by attaching it to the handle of the cart.My dad is on oxygen full time and I noticed the other day that it was hard for him to hold his cup and maneuver the cart at the same time, so I started searching for something like this to hold his cup. This cup holder was easy to attach to the cart. It seems to be made well. The reason I rated it only 3 stars is because it does not hold the cup very well. It needs to be adjustable to "grab" hold of the cup. This is such a large holder that is will only work well with a very large bottom cup.Overall, this will work for now but we will continue to look for a more suitable holder.
Could be great product, but.....
November 12, 2015
Looks like a suitable cup holder. It fits my father's wheelchair. Problem is the bolt is defective. It was improperly machined and it appears to have been partially threaded on the smooth portion of the bolt shaft. It is too wide in circumference to fit through nut on the cup. It also appears to be a non-standard size. I went to a hardware store w/ an extensive selection of bolts and could only either match bolt head size or thread/shaft circumference but not both.I contacted Drive via online chat, and though service rep finally agreed to send a replacement, he initially suggested I buy one at any hardware store. Now I wait to see if they send a bolt and if it's not defective.Otherwise...could be a great product.
Not quite universal with the parts supplied
December 11, 2014
The mechanism that tightens the cup holder to the walker is deep set and the bolt is short. Therefore, I had to throw away the "star" connection and find another 1/2" nut to fit the bolt in order to secure the cup holder to the walker. I would have expected that the item would have worked as it stated it is universal. I was a little disapointed and frustrated that I had to go out of my way to fit the item to the walker. The cup holder is now secure though, and it is a good size and VERY sturdy.

So, I loved this hook. Great for my purse and felt it was secure while shopping. I could also put a couple shopping bags on it no problem and appreciated the swirly hook to keep them on without slipping. I've had it for one year and it just broke. I was under the impression it was all metal, but the inside bracket you don't really see is all plastic. Much like the other reviewers mentioned, I wish that part was metal too. I am contemplating buying another one, but will probably do a little more research. It was great, while it lasted....

You will need double sided tape to make cupholder secure.
May 22, 2016
Overall, the cup holder looks and feels a bit flimsy. Trying to secure this product was a bit tricky. Using all the extra padding, the cup holder still slid downward on the pole. The padding's adhesive was dried and no longer sticky. (Do better NOVA!) I used a double sided tape to secure the padding to the pole and again to secure the holder to the padding, screwed tightly it seems to be secure; though it's only been a week. Also, I positioned the cup holder tilted slightly upward in case the weight of a drink drops it down a little. Good luck.

April 17, 2015
The idea is good but the screws are borderline too short that clamp it together to the frame. Of course different models might have a smaller/larger frame than mine. Double check your seat walker for a space on the frame where you'd put it since some have nothing close to a vertical section of frame and I don't see how one could adjust it to compensate..

Nice addition to rollator except the rollator doesn't have round arms. I had to go to hardware store & buy 2 very long screws but now it's ok. It can take a 2 liter bottle but I'm not sure you'd be able to take it out frequesntly as the bottle would be banging against the brake handle. It's great if you're going to watch a game or performance a, most likely, you'd have the container in your hand but would use the holder as you walked.

Bad Brakes
July 9, 2015
The brakes are lousy on these. I must constantly tighten them in order for my aunt to be safe when using it. Also, the screw-cap that attaches the back support stripped just before the warranty expired, so at least, I was able to receive a no cost replacement. Although, it took multiple phone calls and emails.
excellent but heavy
July 1, 2015
I have had this for a few weeks. I got it after passing out during walks due to chronic fatique issues. What most appealed to me was that it has a seat, unlike regular walkers. So I can sit down and rest anytime and as soon as I start feeling tired. Unfortunately, my apartment complex does not have elevators, which presents a problem. I can fold it then body it into a car, but carrying it up or down stairs is next to impossible for me due to atrophied arm muscles. I have been looking for some sort of shoulder strap which would allow me to navigate stairs with it on my back just as I have no problem carrying a backpack full of groceries strapped to my back. This is NOT a wheelchair! I suspect the reviews claiming it only lasts a month are from people who think, because it has a seat, they can use it as a wheelchair. If you do, yeah, it will last about a month.EDIT: 8/26/15Sad to say, after two months, this fell apart. I did not use it as a wheelchair, usually just walking in the breezeway in front of apt for exercise. The problem appears to be due to screws slowly coming loose. In my case, one fell off and I did not realize it until irreparable damage had been done while sitting in it. Fortunately, I have a backup, an Invacare model with fewer parts. That seems to be key. More expensive rollerators like this Hugo have multiple parts, requiring assembly, meaning multiple parts which will eventually come loose. My folding Invacare is lighter, came assembled, has a seat, but no basket.

April 21, 2017
I tried to go directly to the manufacturer but couldn't. While the product itself looks great, I cant seem to get it to attach and not spin on a three wheeled walker. Sometimes it holds a cup but more often than not, it tips and spills the contents. Very disappointing and hope there is a remedy to make it work. Perhaps if there were two screws it would be more stable? Not sure but disappointing since plastic looked strong and overall looked to be a great product. Please help!
FIRE THE DESIGNER !!
April 2, 2017
Fire the cup designer ! No it does not fit properly on a 1"in tubing....the plastic holding clamp spreads out further even without the rubber insert when installing/snapping it on a 1"in tubing...which results in the locking bolt to be 4-5 threads too short for the knob to get started on the bolt...then to top off this issue... a short metal thread inside the knob slides in and out like a piston...good luck in trying to get that starred on the undersize bolt ! I ended up installing a proper length size bolt with a butterfly nut to lock up the cup to my walker...If you buy this product..be prepare to do some modifications !!...There is only one possible reason for this trouble...A defective bolt that was cut too short during the manufacturing process.
You have to want to make this work.
October 3, 2016
A bunch of problems with this particular item. First, if you have arthritis, do NOT try to install this as it will hurt. The U clamp is a thick plastic and needs to be manipulated over the tube of the wheelchair. MIne is a medline and it took about five minutes to successfully wiggle it over the steel rod. Next, we have the bolt that holds the cup to the U clamp. It is woefully short and took a lot of force to get it to connect with the knob. Okay, so far, so mediocre. Now this thing is in place. Sort of. I got a plastic cup and filled it with water. As soon as it was placed in the holder, the holder began to pivot on the bolt. I tried tightening it some, but no good. I will have to get a rubber washer to solve this problem...something you think the manufacturer would have considered during the design phase. On the plus side, it did hold the cup without sliding on the tube. Personally, I would avoid this product, but if you have no issues with after market modification, then this will do the trick. One thing I have to add, the holder says Drive, and it's going to hold a drink...drink and drive. At least these guys have a sense of humor about their work.
Instalation problems
June 27, 2013
While this cup holder certainly appears to be just what I need on my Rollator Walker, I have yet to successfully install it. I have consulted numerous people with greater strength in their hands than I possess, and no one has been able to get the holder secured tightly enough to maintain the level angle necessary for successful use. This is very frustrating as the holder appears to be exactly what I wanted and need. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Until then, he holder remains on my walker swinging and tilting according to the level on which I walk. Bummer!
Just OK
October 15, 2011
The cup holder works as advertised but was very hard to install. The holder does come with rubber inserts to install inside the clamp to make any diameter difference between the clamp and the chair tubing. The tightening knob can be hard to reach and is difficult to turn. Without a rubber insert, the clamp would not tighten near enough to keep the holder in position. When I installed the smallest rubber insert, the tightening screw threads would not reach the nut needed to tighten. I had to use numerous pliers to tighten the clamp enough for the screw to catch the nut. It was VERY DIFFICULT TO INSTALL AND MOST PEOPLE WOULD NOT BE SUCCESSFUL. However, once in place, it did work well on our trip to Yellowstone.

Doesn't last long
April 3, 2016
This wore out after a year or two so that the hook wasn't swirly shaped and would catch on random things at the grocery store.
Good idea, poor/weak design- bent
December 29, 2014
Bent :( - not nearly as strong as it looked. Bought a cheap large caribeener (sp?) hook at Home Depot for around a dollar instead. (Same thing as the "Mommy Hook" if you've seen that one which broke on me too lol!)
I Don't Recommend This Hook
January 26, 2014
The Jumbo Swirly Hook broke after my first time using it. Get the Think King Mighty Buggy Hook for Stroller, Wheelchair, Rollator, Walker, 2 Pack instead. I have happily used the Mighty Buggy Hooks for nearly five years without any issues. They are of a much better quality than the Swirly Hook.
Does not work with my stroller
August 4, 2013
This hook only works with certain purses, depending on how the strap on the purse is. I cannot use it with several of my purses which only have one strap because it hangs in such a way that I keep constantly bumping into my purse, super annoying. I also don't think it would work for grocery bags for the same reason and hanging anything really heavy on the push bar makes most strollers too heavy in the back and they tip over. Not safe. I've found a use for it: I hang my doggie you-know-what bag on it until I get to a trash can. I would not buy this again.

Warning: does not fit ALL rollators!
August 4, 2015
I bought this thinking it would fit my mom's new Nitro rollator because it was a recommended product and i thought it would be convenient for my mom to have as she likes to drink (juice, water) constantly. But upon receiving it and reading the instructions I realized it would only fit on tube style frames - the Nitro has flat thick frames so the clamps cannot -clamp on them! Now I'm stuck with it - too much of a hassle to return, so I guess I'll give it to a resident with tube frame.

Very poor assembly.
October 9, 2016
The walker had several assembly errors. The handlebars were on the wrong sides; the wheels were on the wrong sides and upsidedown. I had to hire someone to take it apart and redo the wires, and correct the other errors. I'd like some compensation for my trouble.

September 28, 2016
I do not know why all the rave reviews - I am deeply disappointed with this device - the seat is flimzy, I hardly ever chance to sit in it; The legs and wheels are all over the place I keep hitting them and tripping over them all the time. I thought I might get used to this construction, but I did not and the window to return or exchange it is too short - just one month! My fault, should not have given this piece of ... a chance. in the future will not even wait a month: something is not perfect -- good bye - off you go, no chances to anybody or anything. Should have NOT listen to the reviews and doubt myself - may be it's not the walker, may be I am clumsy?? No, I am ok, the walker is poorly designed.I am even afraid to take it out to un-paved area. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY ! Check out the web - I noticed an European model (did not write down the name) but looks much more natural posture wise and leg positions.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
March 15, 2017
I bought this for my Drive Medical Rollator walker as the description showed it would fit both my Rollator walker and my Drive Medical Wheelchair. I tried various areas on my Drive Medical Rollator which I use the most and could not get it to fit properly anywhere. I ordered this one in particular because I have all Drve Medical Products; however, my first attempt to use it ended up with coffee spilled all over the floor as it is way too tipsy and if I put the added rubber pieces in I can't get the bolt all the way through. I must say I was very disappointed with this purchase from Drive Medical as I have always been extremely pleased with their other products. I guess I will now see if there is any way it will work in my wheelchair; however, due to the tipsiness of this I am not sure I even trust it on my wheelchair. Sorry Drive Medical. I do love your products as a general rule but this one is very poorly constructed and really of no use.
CANNOT INSTALL THIS???
September 20, 2016
I purchased this item the end of July but only just opened it now almost two months later to put on my moms rollator and find that there is no screw AND I also have a part that that I cannot identify in the installation instructions??? August 25, 2016
Don't know why I didn't look at the reviews before buying this "Universal" Cup Holder. I had the same problem that a lot of others did: the U Clamp is way to small for the tubing on the walker. The bolt isn't long enough, and the knob won't reach far enough to come close to the short bolt. I had some metric nuts and bolts in the garage so I got it on OK. Why a company makes this garbage and advertises it as "Universal" is beyond me.
No more spills. UPDATE Sept 28th
August 23, 2016
I got this for my Mom's 3 wheeler walker, as she is always stumbling out to the kitchen with one hand on the walker and one holding a coffee cup. She is a disaster waiting to happen. I attached the cup and she loves it! She can put the walker in and out of the car herself and we just made sure it was on the right side for putting in the car. She also is now starting to use it for other small things like her keys when she goes to check the mail and her glasses so she does not have to bend way down into the pouch to get little stuff. But mostly she has stopped spilling coffee!Update: September 28 - Getting out of the car last night it broke, as in like cheap plastic and it left a very sharp edge. Luckily I was with my Mom because she would not have been able to take the cup holder off her walker by herself and the very sharp edge made a dangerous situation. The cup holder was not easy to put on or take off she could not do it without me and she could not use enough force to break the cup holder by herself taking it out of the car. She had it for just over a month and as cheap as it was I am still mad that I have to purchase a new one, a better on made of metal perhaps. The plastic is really cheap and dangerous when it cracks and breaks.
Very disappointing!
February 21, 2016
I was very disappointed with this item. I purchased a drive walker for my mother after she broke her ankle ( which we are thrilled with) and expected that the drive universal cup holder would easily fit on the walker. Needless to say it did not! The screw cap used attach to the walker had threads inside that wouldn't catch. I had to attach to the backrest in order to get the threads to catch, but then when placing a cup in it, it would rotate and spill. This was actually the second cup holder ordered, the first had a missing piece. Even sadder that it cost more to return than it costs!
Factory~ installed, maybe?
October 1, 2014
I purchased this Drive cupholder because I have a Drive walker. My mistake to think this would ensure a good fit. My husband has tried various methods to install this, to no avail. He is now considering getting extra parts from the hardware store. SO I'm still without the ability to independently move to my car with a travel mug. Drive needs to go beyond the engineering phase of this product and try to install one on their Drive walkers! Looks good, but unusable.

Have ordered four of these clips in last several months. Two of which were replacements. At first thought we may have abused the clip to have caused it to break, but after the second break this weekend, there seems to be a weakness in the plastic that holds theclip together and which does not seem to be repairable. Unfortunately by the time the plastic buckle breaks, we are outside of our Amazon.com return window.

May 12, 2017
Product does not stay in place when installed. If you were to place anything in the cup holder once installed, the brackets (1- clamp style) are not strong enough to hold it in place; therefore, the holder slips and is of no use. DO NOT BUY. Well, this item shows up as something bought with the rollator, however, be sure to note that if you are buying the new Drive Nitro Rollator, it will not work. It is made for round, tubular frames. The new Nitro has flat, oblong bars so the bracket just does not fit. My husband was able to make a tubular clamp for his rollator to attach the cup holder, but that should not have been necessary. Note, do not by the cane holder either as it has the same problem, meant for round frames not oblong. What a disappointment.

Sorry I didn't save the packaging to return. Had a handyman try to place it on walker. He had to add a bit of padding to keep it on tightly. That hasn't worked. Will ask him to give it another go. If it still can't hold the weight of a plastic cup, it unfortunately goes in the trash.
