It's a pretty good hammer. High quality with stainless steel and a great grip. seems to be durable so far. Even after hammering a lot of materials harder than the steel of the hammer, it just got a few scuffs.Overall if you looking for a hammer that would last, i would choose this one.overall 5/5 stars great hammer defiantly worth every penny.

Great hammer to keep for all your around-the-house things...one should always try t o use the proper tool for the job. If you have this smaller guy inside the house, you'll hopefully never use a non-hammer-like-tool to try to do what you should just grab this guy for and take care of it THE RIGHT WAY. I think I also got this for a great add-on price which is good 'cause it's now in my elderly Mom's possession since she liked it 'cause it wasn't heavy & she has some wrist issues I guess. Guess I should of bought two :( oh well. So, overall great product...happy with this purchase!

The hammer feels quite strong and firm in the hand due to the black rubber grip. The hammer head appears to be welded in place. As for the fiberglass segment, I cannot say much about it other than the fact that I find its touch of yellow coloring to suggesting safety as well as caution. It's a good choice in overall design. For the purpose for which I desired it, I'd say it did a satisfactory work and I anticipate more potential from it in the future.

So far so good.My old framing hammers were my fathers dating back to the '70's. Those old hammers work well but they're getting up there in age so I wanted an inexpensive hammer I could use without worrying about damaging (like separating the head and handle,) This one fit the bill and at a good price.I'm building a large shed and deck this month along with a greenhouse next month. I don't think there will be any problems but if for any reason the hammer fails I'll update my review.

About the only way to screw up a hammer is by making the handle out of cheap wood that can break or by making the head-to-handle attachment point in such a way that it can come loose during normal usage. The synthetic handle and attachment point are rock-solid on this hammer, so I expect no problems with either. This is definitely well-made.

After breaking the very first hammer in my life, I looked online for a highly rated replacement. When I found this one, I compared it to several others and finally decided on this one. I am very happy I did. I've hit my thumb several times now and the hammer is still in fine shape. The head surface is well machined and has grip even on small finishing nails. The fiberglass handle is very well made and is glued in with no defects. The nail pulling tongs are perfectly aligned and grip even the smallest of heads. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

These are one of those items that you'll lose before you break it. You'll hand this down to your kids and they will hand it down to theirs. I've had other, cheaper tape measures and they all have broke in some capacity - the tape rips and becomes dangerously sharp, the lock breaks, or the tip bends. Buy one of these and forget about needing another.

As a carpenter in a custom cabinetry shop I use my tape measure all day every day. Ill admit this isnt my favorite tape (I love Milwaukee brand tapes for my personal tool kit) but for as much use and abuse as my work tools get I need a cheaper version since they wear out and need replacement more often. This stands up to lots of use and lots of drops at work every day for many months before the tape wears out.

Got this one for my son and it appears well-built and durable. My 10' Stanley Powerlock is smaller and narrower, and the mylar is starting to wear off, but the True-Zero hook still works and the lock as well as spring retraction are still great after 30 years. I hope this 16' gives my son as good service as my old Stanley measure has given me.

After buying several newer designed tape rules and having them fail in a mater of months or even less I went back to the first one I ever used thirty years ago. They lasted my dad decades and they seam to be built the exact same way as they were thirty years ago. Its really difficult to find quality products these days and especially difficult to find quality products that are made in the USA.

I do a large amount of work with tape measures in aerial lifts over others' heads. Before purchasing this, I would bring up my 30' Stanley tape, but I find it to be unnecessarily heavy (dropping tools is a big no, and yes it is attached to me via a tool leash) and I rarely needed that length of tape. Since, the majority of the measurements I take are <10', so this is the perfect combination of length with a lightweight body. The only downside is that the tape is thinner, so it has a shorter standout length (roughly 2'-6" - 3'-0"), but I expected that for a tape of this size. Lock works fine. In order to accommodate my tool leash, I've attached a metal keyring to the pocket clip. Solid construction, as usual from Stanley.

I can get it to extend to a little over 7 feet before it snaps. Solid tape, just as good as any Stanley one you buy in the store. Comes in a good strong plastic packaging that will protect it from scuffs.Heads up though! If you're looking at the picture and expecting to get a white cube on the side to write your name on it. The one i received does not have this. Otherwise, got what i expected.

Nice addition to the tool kit. Especially useful if you are getting it as a gift for someone who needs extra screwdrivers for various projects.

Unbeatable for the prices. Nice set of screwdrivers and at this price point you can have a set for the motor home, garage and hobby toolbox too! They feel comfortable in the hand and do the job they were intended to do.

Screwdrivers are like pencils - there is never going to be one around when you want it. That's why it never hurts to have another set. This 10-piece set has your basic Phillips & flat-head screwdrivers suitable for most common household jobs. They are even color coded - blue end for Phillips, red for flat-head, a nice touch. The screwdrivers come in a little plastic "storage rack" allowing you to slip them in and out. This is suitable for taking a group picture of all 10, before they begin to disappear around your house.

Stanley tools are always a few cuts above the usual store tools, including that Chinese warehouse outlet, for sure. I found these are well-made, with good handles, apparently good-strength blades (time will tell) and a good price for the set. I only needed a couple of sizes, but this set was just so well-priced that I got the whole bunch for the price of a couple of drivers at the store. This lets me stock my various vehicle toolkits cost-effectively.

The household has long needed a set of good screwdrivers instead of what we had, which was basically the occasional purchase of whatever was needed right then with no plan at all. What would typically happen is when a screwdriver was needed, one couldn’t be found and a new screwdriver would be purchased. This would go into the junk drawer and somehow disappear the next time it was needed, the cycle of stupidity being continued.

Well, no more. For the excellent price of $10.62 I now have a set of pretty decent screwdrivers on a (cheap) little rack and no excuse to be missing one for the time being. The price wasn’t the only thing that appealed to me, as the handles seemed perfect and ergonomic for my arthritic hands. Plus I don’t have to be concerned about quality issues with these, something that I couldn’t be confident about at all if I had purchased an inexpensive imported set. I read the reviews and as most informed people understand, you don’t buy budget or economy priced tools. You’ll end up needing to replace those probably sooner than later.

That’s why I jumped on these while the price was so low. Yes, there are some better ones out there but cost prohibitive for me. Made in America is another draw, and although some may consider these not especially well made I can only say that for the average homeowner like me they are as good as I need. I waited too long for the equivalent DeWalt set when it was priced very close to this one, but I'm not crying over spilled milk because I didn't have the money at that time and I'm satisfied with what my $10 bought me.

I will need a real screwdriver rack at some point when I get better organized (moved into new house 3 months ago) and set up a nice work area, because what holds them together now is only good enough for just that - to hold them.

This is just a very basic set but certainly good enough for that role. I don’t make my living using expensive precision tools so my requirements are more than met. And for only $10.

I call this my Fischer price tool, it's cute and gets into places you never thought possible.

What can I say, it is a pry bar. It pries things open, but it is small enough to keep in the house. It does pry well though.

These are the best small pry bar out there, so many uses. I have a bunch of these, one in every tool box and bag.

This tool is used for emergency service on a fire truck. It works great for pulling vehicle trim during extrications to check for air bag actuator locations. Decent job a light prying and fits easily into a large pocket. The painted tip is a plus for locating the tool quickly at night.

You will most likely laugh when this bar arrives in the mail like I did. I knew 7 1/2" is small, but it's pretty insane when you pull it out of the box. Having said that, it did exactly what I needed it to do, which was help me gently remove the baseboard trim without damage so I could reuse it. You're not going to get this level of control with a bigger pry bar!

Since we ordered this last week, we've installed window trim with the brad nailer and a plank wall with the finish nailer. They work wonderfully!

I've had this for about a year it's a decent hammer. I do new construction plumbing and it's held up admirably. the plastic grips are starting to show their age and you will need to grind the claw when you get it

Just a good solid tape measure. Nothing fancy it just plain works.

Great tape measure. I wish it were a little lighter but if it were it would probably be less well-made. My wife keeps "borrowing" it. this would make a nice gift for anyone who likes to constantly remodel their home or, like me, makes frequent trips to hardware store but doesn't need a full size tape measure 24/7.

Works flawlessly. This is a classic tape measure they never fails me. Can't go wrong with it. Hey it's also not made of plastic garbage.

I know this is a great tape measure, we've had one in the house for years. But I wanted one of my own. 25 feet seems to be the sweet spot of sturdy tape and max distance you need for 99.9% of tasks.The ONLY reason I removed a star was for the packaging, which I know probably works great for a display or hanging in an aisle - But I was so worried I was going to break the clip in the back while removing the plastic. My wife thought I was over reacting, and normally she'd be right, but I've worked for a packaging company for almost 15 years and know my products. And even though this item is not classified as blister or clamshell packaging, it comes pretty darn close. And if you ever wondered why someone came up with hassle free packages it's because of stuff like this.

It is just a tape measure. No frills of any sort. It does exactly what I need it to do. It measures as accurately as any tape can in human hands. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that we use several dozen of these in our plant and they just aren't as sturdy as they used to be. Or as I remember them being. The tapes can, and do, frequently tear and break. I just wish they'd build them a little sturdier, but other than that, it works fine. If you're doing light use work, like house work, or even framing and roofing a home, this will do ok, but in our work environment where it is used dozens or hundreds of time per day, it just doesn't hold up as well as it used to.

Screwdrivers work super well, are easy to hold, and are great quality (especially for the price!). The plastic holder that keeps them all together arrived broken, meaning that the screwdrivers were scattered throughout the box when they arrived, which is why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars.

I bought this product in order to install a new window ac, it worked out great! However, I would not recommend it if you intend to use a lot, after one first use the tip started to "break/bend" and it is clearly not intended for strong/constant use. You get what you pay for. But it worked out great for me, as I very likely will not use it again anytime soon.

Decent set of cheap screw drivers, I don't think they will last all that long especially with heavy use.
That being said it gives you a decent range of sizes in phillips and flat head

It really helped. I was always chasing my self with straight head or phillip heads. Now I can keep the drivers where I know they are, and if someone helps me with something, I can just be sure that the tool is put back where it came from, not in their tools.

More than worthy for the price. The #1 Philips was the main reason I bought it and it has a rounded tip which kind of limits its use to non precision work, oh well. Generally nice home owner screwdrivers except the handles are not the best for grip.. too rounded or something. Included rack works, front bar slides off with some effort, but the wall you attach it to best be leaning backwards a bit to use it... rack is not worth keeping for several reasons. Don't buy it if the word rack attracts you.

Works well for taking up carpet tack strips. The yellow part eventually loses it's color as you hammer it though.

Great size pry bar comes in handy.

It's a pry bar, so it is sturdy. Amusingly, it was bubble wrapped.I don't care for the yellow paint as it is thick and has already chipped. Nothing is affected, but we could both have saved some money if it weren't painted. Stamp on "Stanley" before painting a prying surface that holds a quasi-edge.

You can't beat the price if you need to pull T-50 & T-21 construction staples out of plywood. Which I did earlier today. And which I'll do again tomorrow... You can also open a paint can with it.

I'm really afraid to use this on a nail because I don't want to damage it. Looks more like I should use it to drive staples into paper or maybe use it to stick post it notes to things..

bought this for 3-4 penny finish nails in hinge jigs. The weight ,size and durability are great but it's got a really poor claw design for pulling them back out. won't grab nails that much bigger hammers can.

its ok, but the tape is alot heavier then it looks, and the tape itself is of lower quality then the fat max version, i use this for working with 8x4 ply wood, and it works fine, but it wont last, most the other carpenters use fat max, but they dont make a 12 foot fat max. but i do like that it as a pocket clip, where the 6 foot fat max i have is nice and light but it doesnt have a pocket clip.

I do not like that the measuring tape color is now a dark yellow rather than a regular-colored yellow. The tape color went from roughly the color of French's mustard to the color of dried up mustard that you sometimes get around the cap!Aside from the dark yellow color (which makes it slightly harder to read measurements), the tape is fine.

It should last for some time for my household use but the case is plastic. I suppose I didn't read the description thoroughly but I was thinking it might be metal housing, therefore a very sturdy product. I wouldn't expect this to last very long for someone in construction. It seems that one drop could completely bust the housing.

Im a furniture builder and I have his lil 12' metal brother for about 15 years, with occasionally WD-40 it held out that long.The spring system is starting to fail now.So I got this one, but you can't compare them, this on is a plastic housing, and the tape itself isn't as sturdy neither.Time will tell...

I purchased 2 of these at the same time and discovered varied printing qualities. The printing on one is nice and crisp while the other is not. They both will work but obviously one will be my go to while the other one is my blurry back up.

The box is ok.but when I opened the box,I found the package was already separate and the smallest blue one is lack. I found every corner of the box but there was nothing left. I Don't know how to refund or replace as I am learning the language.

The Phillips tips are a little too smoothed over. I prefer when they're nice and sharp, for better purchase in the screw head.

Decent screwdriver set, but the rack they include with it is one of the most poorly-designed things I've ever come in contact with.
It's like... breathtakingly bad design. It needs to be seen to be believed. They could taped the screwdrivers up into a huge ball of duct tape with the heads poking out and it'd still be more useful and easy to access than what it comes with now.

The screwdrivers work. It's just... weird... that they send you this extra thing you have to spend ten minutes figuring out how to open once then throw away.

This set does not seem to fit the screw heads (yes, verified proper size) very well. There seems to be a slight gap and they do not feel comfortable to use for us. Otherwise, they work OK for most things. Just not going to be my go-to set when a lot of torque may be required. We will stick with our Husky or Craftsman set for now.

Pay attention when you order this... Read how big they are actually! made the mistake and ordered 2 of these thinking they were crowbar size but they are very tiny.. Ended up giving them to the kids for their tool boxes so when they help me they have something that fits their hands.

The thickness of these is indeed a little large compared to their overall size. It would be nice to have a thinner profile for such a small pry-bar as this. BEWARE the size... this is 7-1/2 inches long, not a "standard" larger size

I got this to keep in my BOB bag so it will see very little use. It's a good size and not hard to handle. The quality is decent for what it is. The cut edges are rough and the overall finish is slightly below average.I knew what I was getting for $7 and I'm not expecting super duper quality. It's meant to pry open stuck windows or wooden crates. I won't buy another one but I also don't see myself using this one for any serious work.Pros: It fits in my bag and takes up no room.Cons: Meh. It is what it is.

I return this hammer after a brief trial. The head was loose (I could have fixed if I liked the hammer). My primary dislike was that the hammer was not well balanced and felt very awkward. Also I have big hands and the grip was to small.

This is not what Stanley has advertised. Don't be fooled, it does not have the 32nd gradients on it.

The tape measure snapped after a year of use. Worked perfectly fine as a tape measure, until it didn't. I was retracting the tape one day after taking a measurement in the attic and the tape broke off near the end. It looks like the manufacturer's warranty requires mailing it back, so it's not worth the trouble or expense. Recommend either buying from a manufacturer with a useful warranty or from a store that allows returns for warranties.

I could not imagine what could be wrong with such a simple device as this tape. But it happened that you cannot measure something without help if you try to hook one end - it does not remain hooked. Also, the lock barely holds the tape in place. A poor workmanship.I am reducing the rating to two (it was 3 previously) because the inability for the "tooth" remain in place and need for the help from somebody is really annoying. The thing is cheap in making.

I liked the size and length...and price was fine. I use a tape to measureoutside dimensions for roof sales...and it was okay.I immediately noticed the the tape lock was awkward and stiff. Hard tounlock and lock. Not terrible. But not smoothThen yesterday the tip fell off and the tape wound into the body...so useless to me..

Contrary to both description and reviews, the case is NOT made of metal.People can;t seem to tell the difference between chrome colored plastic these days.That said, The classic Stanley rule inside this plastic case is still the easiest to read on the market.

Purchased 2 sets: one for me and one for my wife. Some of the Phillips screwdrivers don't fit properly into the top of the screw...and it feels like it's stripped. Certainly wouldn't purchase them again. If we kept the packaging, we'd send them back.

what material are these drivers made wood.... the bits on the Phillips are complete garbage drive one screw the bit gets eaten up most of the time they cant even move a screw the only ones that seem to work are the flatheads even though their paint starts coming off...

I thought the wall-bracket was a great idea, until I tried to use it. Either the cryptic instruction sheet is useless, or I can't figure it out. But basically the screwdrivers rest on top of a slipperly plastic shelf. There is nothing holding them in, like a clip. So if you slam the door, they all fall off and onto the floor. If you are buying this thinking it will sit well on your wall, forget it, or plan to rig something else up.

The Philips head screwdrivers are terribly designed. Overall they are cheap and are extremely fragile. Should not buy again.

This is not a full size wonder bar, and the nail pulling edges I would use to get under the nail heads are not sharp. I made the mistake of thinking it was a bargain on two full size bars, and got an unpleasant surprise when they arrived. I have not returned them, they are 7 inches long, as advertised, but the dull edges are also a disappointment, so I do not recommend this item.

I bought this for pulling up quarter-round and baseboards and removing door trim. It works ok for that, and was relatively inexpensive, but it's starting to bend after a few uses. A good pry-bar shouldn't be bent just from pulling out nails and removing wood trim! Needs high-quality steel.

Grab a ruler and see how tiny this thing is. I was shocked when it came, it's made well enough but it looks like a child's toy

There's awful scratches all over the hammer surface after using it for literally 5 minutes to hang a picture with 2 small nails. What the heck is wrong with the coating? I want a refund.

The face on this hammer has a radius (a curve). That means it bends nails and deflects each time you strike a blow. I realized it too late to return it, as I use a hammer sparingly. The hammer got great reviews, so maybe mine is defective?!Check the hammer face when you receive it. Or just avoid buying it!

Took 15 minutes to remove the UPC label and corresponding gunk on the head of the hammer. Ridiculous.

The metal on the head creates shavings and the head isn't a standard shape. Not happy with the overall quality or usability.

It's made in Vietnam ........what North Korea stop making hammers? I bought this hammer to replace a rock I was using......I miss my rock. I should of bought the $2.99 special @ Harbor Freight.As tradesman for 40 years I thought I could trust Stanley. Most of my Stanley tools are over 30 years, made when Stanley cared about quality and not just $$$$$.

It was broken when it arrived

I decided to purchase it seeing a lot of positive reviews and 4.5 star rating but I suggest you shouldn't take it into consideration while buying a measuring tape online.. The tape is weak and bends after 4 feets, moreover even withing 1-4 feet it doesn't feel like a solid product. It's better to try and buy a different tape in brick and mortar local hardware store.. You'll pay maybe $10 more but will be able to measure things properly by YOURSELF. This tape deserves 0/5

Broke after 3 months at the 2" mark, so the rest of it rolled up inside.

The tape I got was American made but was still defective. The tape hook moves as it should but must be offset because the measurement is off a fat 16th. Making the tape measure useless for trim work and worthless to me. I am unable to return it because I waited more than 30 days before I even opened it to use it. Never have had this problem with a Stanley tape before

Ordered two of the 25-Foot tape measures a few months ago and barely used them at all. They are Stanley brand with the metal casing as pictured. However, one of these tape measures just literally fell apart in my hands randomly as I was normally extending the tape to measure something. First the tape seemed to jam up and would not retract itself, so I decided to gently pull out the tape to its full 25 feet to see if that would help... and then the tape just pops right out of the metal case and gets this black grease all over my hands.I see from other reviews now that this has happened to other people too. Seems like there's some serious quality control issues going on with this seller and their stock. I've always heard that Stanley tape measures are supposed to be good quality and the professional choice so I doubt this is a problem with the brand itself. I would advise choosing a different seller or just not buying this from Amazon at all, as Amazon seems to have quality control problems with a lot of items.

I had to replace this after 5 uses and it was not "power usage". I was measuring a kitchen and had the tape under the refrdgerator. When I released the lock it got momentarily snagged and game out missing 7" of the tape. It simply snapped off. I would have expected considerably more durability than this from ANY tape measure, but surely more from the Stanley name.I have bought the Fat Max as a replacement - we'll see how that goes

Junk. These tools actually look like something from not a 3rd world, but 4th world manufacturing country. How do you mess up the Phillip ends of a screwdriver making it difficult to match a standard Phillips screw. The handles are MICKEY-Moose small and difficult to grip. I wouldn't give these a 5 yr old son unless you want him to be void of using tools the rest of his life. I'll had this to my JUNK(bucket)-List.

I don't know how amazon recommended this screwdriver set. it is bar none the worst set of screw drivers I have ever used. The flat heads all began to flake/chip and lose their coating as well as some tips broke in half. The cross recessed heads (Phillips) slip like crazy and are borderline useless. I have never been so disappointed with a cheap tool purchase before. I'm sure harbor freight has better quality for cheaper. I use Pratt-Read at work and the quality is not even worth comparing. I will be attempting to return this cheap screwdriver set.

Broke another one last night.

Was supposed to get ten and only received 9...the box they came in was big but was really bad was that they were not secured in a box themselves or tied to anything. They were scattered on the bottom of the box that had my other orders in it as well. I guess the saying is true that you get what you paid for. Couldn't even leave seller feedback because this was a add on item and it didn't give me the option for just this set. Am not impressed but not going to send them back because it would literally be a waste of time

The tip of the medium flat head screwdriver broke while I was using it and shot off a piece that was about 1/4"x1/4'. It nearly hit me in the eye. Spend a little more money and get some higher quality tools. Even if this hadn't happened, I still wouldn't like this set, because the handles are too round and smooth. You can't get as good of a grip on them as you can with traditional screwdrivers.

This thing is tiny. Looks like it should be in a toy playset. Not what I was expecting. I bought a man sized one at harbor freight for 4 dollars. Don't waste your time with this.

An old fashion can opener would work better than this "tool"

This thing is MUCH THICKER than a full-sized pry bar, and not cut-out very well. It's like someone intentionally designed this to LOOK like a mini pry bar from a distance, while not functioning like one at all. After carrying it around for 6 months, and being completely unable to use it for anything, I threw it out, unused.For all those jobs a pry bar is too big to do, what you really want is a strong/stiff putty knife, like this one: Purdy 144900130 Premium Putty Knife Stiff, 3-Inch Plus that will do many other jobs you wouldn't ever consider using a pry bar for.

I own the original plated bar sold years ago under the same model number. The two tools share the same length and general shape. The original has a forged taper on the ends which makes it thin enough yet strong enough to get behind trim and pry. The new bar is painted and has a crude beveled edge ground into the bar ends. It's ends are too thick to be useful as a trim pry tool. The notches in the ends are too small be useful for nail removal. The original is stamped "made in the U.S.A." The new bar lacks a country of origin label.
