You can not go wrong purchasing the Food Saver brand name for this price on Amazon. It is cheaper than other stores. They work great and have not had any problems with them. I use them to freeze steaks and chicken. I froze a NY Strip steak July4th and ate it this month which is September. The steak was as good as the day I sealed it in the Food Save Vacuum Bag. These bags will protect your meat up to two years. but, I have never waited more than 4 months to eat the chicken or steak that I have frozen.

I love these bags. I have the gallon ones but use the qt more often. They are more than the roll but I find that I use too much with the roll and making these small bags takes too much time. Perfect for one serving. Easy and convenient. I use the FoodSaver more because these are so easy to use these.

Didn't hear any complaints from the one who used the majority of these. Can't say how much we love our food saver and this size is perfect for separating out hamburger, chicken, and fish for our meals.

Always love these pre made bags. They save me time when I get home from shopping at the box store. Great product!. Please don't ever stop making these.

I love the rolls, you can cut any size you want. I have been using Food Saver for about 20 years. This is my second one the old one just wore out from use. I live alone but can buy in bulk and also freeze meals for myself, like stew and soup. it is wonderful for stuff in the frig because it lasts longer. I do avacados and they last a week or so without turning black. Also strawberries last three or four times as long.

They seem to be the right size for most of what I use the foodsaver on. I don't like the roll that came with our new foodsaver. We well be buying our bags from through amazon from now on.

I bought these bags to go with my Foodsaver model V2244 vacuum sealer. I hadn't used it much because the Foodsaver bags were so expensive. I found these on Amazon at a very reasonable price. They are really good quality, nice size, and seal very well. I do buy meats in bulk and also seasonal produce that I freeze -- this is so much easier than the zipper lock bags, and the vacuum seal keeps the items from getting freezer burn. I will definitely buy these bags again. I purchased both the quart 8" x 12" and pint 6" x 10" sizes.

I ordered same package last year....froze sweet corn in them. Works perfect and keeps corn very fresh.Also, seal leftovers in them to reheat for a meal at a later time.So, this is my second order and I will keep on ordering them as they are a good quality bag and much less expensive than others.

These are the best bags available both for storage and value. They are a nice heavy weight. After using several hundred of these bags, I have yet to have a failure.I not only use them for freezing but also to store dehydrated items, antiques, jewelry and a lot more.I have all the sizes but find I use the 8 x 12 bags the most.I will continue to buy this brand.

This is the 3rd time I've ordered these bags. They do very well with my Food Saver machine. I get the majority of my food for the month at the military commissary so I put up quite a lot at one time. Using the presealed bags makes it go quite a bit faster. There is also the savings by getting the bags from Amazon. You get more for a lot less than even buying bags from Walmart. I will continue to order these bags as long as I have a lot to put up at one time. They also save expensive cuts of meat from freezer burn which also saves a lot of money. I also put up bulk cheese, cereal, even soups and they work every time.

I purchased these in May and recently used some to repack bulk meat and none of them worked in my Foodsaver. The air can't be vacuumed out for some reason.I'm here to buy some actual Foodsaver bags.JULY 30 UPDATE -After my initial review I was contacted by seller and offered new bags because my original bags came from a bad batch the seller had received. I agreed to replacement bags instead of the refund they offered. I promised to update my review if the new bags worked in my foodsaver. The new bags work great so far. I've used only 5 or so, but all five vacuumed out completely and sealed.I'd like to thank the seller for their great customer service. I truly appreciate it!

Purchase with confidence!! The biggest reason I was hesitant to get a FoodSaver vacuum sealing system was because I wasn't sure it would actually save me money by buying in bulk and then freezing, being as how expensive the rolls of bags were. I also found them annoying to cut, seal, then load up and seal the other end - it takes time for the machine to cool down so it was time consuming and just frustrating.I bought these bags to avoid that - they come pre-cut, pre-sealed at one end, and are ready to go!! They seal just as well as the FoodSaver brand as well.My only complaint is that they're pretty big (which isn't really a complaint! Haha), but they easily fold over. The description does have measurements, but I just went off the "quart size" part of the description, so I was surprised to see how big these are. I prepare and store 2-3 chicken breasts per bag, and I had room to easily double that amount per bag... But they weren't big enough to cut in half (or they wouldn't have enough extra bag to properly seal)... So I ended up sealing and folding. However, for my purposes, I am going to see if they offer smaller bags for my next purchase, just to avoid the waste on the environment.Here are some photos of my bulk chicken buy and how I store it with these bags! These bags work very well with the Foodsaver. The negative is the expense, and I have found generic bags at a huge national chain store that work just as well.

I use my vacumn packer a lot. Works really well and these bags are a lot more convenient than cutting a section off of a roll and having to seal the bottom before packing and sealing the top.Good price for a lot of bags.

These bags make quick work of vacuum sealing your foods. A good size for single servings, or even double. Note that they DON'T have zipper closures.

These are the perfect size for veggies, fruits, or cooked chicken or turkey.They seal well and have a spot to write down what is in the bag. Can also cook the food while still in the bag, - just make sure to poke a few steam holes.

These are very nice for most everything I freeze. I like them very much and they work well, except for cut up chicken. I got in a mess trying to use them for the cup-up chicken. I had water from the chicken everywhere and I placed them in the freezer for 2 hours like the instructions said. I may not try chicken in them again, too much mess. That is why I gave them a four star.

These are alright but by no stretch of the imagination are they "quart". They are half the size if a ziplock "quart' bag. If you dumped a quart of milk in one your have it all over you.

I've been ordering these bags for awhile. They work really well with my Cabelas vacuum sealer. I have used 100's of them. The latest batch I received though have an issue with about 25% of the bags - they are sealed on both ends. I have to cut the top off of each bag to use them. Very frustrating. I have already used some so I cannot return them.

No problems. The fifth star will show up if all the bags hold the vacuum seal for the next couple months. Down is the bags loose their seal. You will use up the whole package on a half beef. Seems good quality. Nice size. These will hold a family pack of boneless cutlets or couple pounds hamburger. No problems whatsoever vacuuming sealing a half cow. Not the heaviest bag but no cut or burst bags from the sharp edges of the bones.

Fast delivery and very affordable.They sealed quickly and works fine with my foodsaver.My only issue is that when i microwave my food with them, the area that i sealed with my foodsaver would unseal itself.Its only a minor annoyance when i want to keep the opening small.Overall, may buy again.

Very versatile bags but some of them leak over a few weeks. I've had to take some of them out of the fridge and suck the air out again. It doesn't happen with ALL the bags though. One must COMPLETELY make sure that the double seal is sealed all the way across.

Standard FoodSaver Bags but these seem to be a bit thinner that in the past. They're OK but that's about all that I can say about them.

Sometimes sharp dehydrated foods think poke through like dehydrated rice. Then it no longer hold a seal. Otherwise a great product.

I'm excited to have a vacuum sealer. We waste so much food. I just wish the bags were recyclable. I hate creating all this plastic.

I was a little disappointed in these bags. I like using pre-cut bags generally however these seemed to have problems sealing properly. I couldn't figure out why, so I had to go back to using the rolls for the large case of poultry that I needed to package for the freezer. I won't be purchasing these again.

Decent bag for the price. They tend to run thin and sharp foods will puncture them. I would buy them again knowing that and just watching what I sealed.

The price is great, and that might be strong enough to get me to re-order; there is just one problem with these bags: it is tough to get the bag started in my particular Food Saver machine. I think it might be that this plastic is a little more flimsy than the `original equipment' from Food Saver. Once you get the bag inserted properlyand the unit is operating, everything is fine. The bags perform well.

These aren't bad, but they're not great ... I'd say that 1 of every 3 or 4 bags doesn't seal no matter how I hold or wipe down or turn over or whatever. I'm disappointed. When they work; they're GREAT! When they don't; they're horrible.

About 1 out of 5 don't seal at all. I have opend one of the two bags to start using and found them a bit difficult to seal. The open end has to be just "perfect" in the air channel to catch and then vacuum and seal. I think the bags that are not sealing must have a pin hole in them because they just don't vacuum. I'm not sure if I'm going to return them and I decided if I am going to purchase more. I am however hoping that the rest of the 100 bags will seal.

Disappointed! Bags are strong & material is 90% equivalent to regular foodsaver bags but a lot of the bags don.t let vacuum take all the air out. Out of the 20 bags I used so far, 8 did not work. Will not purchase again.

they don't seem to be working as advertised. I bought them to use with the Foodsaver FM2000-FFP system and they either don't seal completely or don't remove all the air out of the bags.

Quite a few bags failed to seal. This is due to small holes in some of the bags. About 5 out of 20 bags had this problem. The rolls seem better. For the bags that seal, they preserve food quality well.

I will never purchase these FoodSaver bags again. About half of the bags will not seal so I'm guess that they must have holes in them. It is so frustrating. I am using a FoodSaver brand machine which works great with "off-brand" bags purchased from butchersupplycompany.com.

Preferred rolls of Food Saver, so I can cut different sizes.

Why is there a 10.00 incrase in this product over the same product I purchased in March 22

Took very long to get them and they are thin compared to others I have used. Had several packages refill with air due to small punctures from the food I was sealing and had to use a new bag and reseal. I will not be ordering these again.

I was disappointed in these bags. They are much larger than a quart sized bag. But they probably should be since the bag needs plenty of space for the vacuum sealer to remove the air from the bag. These bags do not seal well. The bag struggles to seal and in the meantime, pulls a lot of liquids out of the food product. These are definitely "generic" and do not work well with my name brand vacuum sealer. My sealer works well with its own named brand bags. I will not mention my sealer's product name.

I've used these bags successfully for a number of years but it may be that what they are currently shipping is defective. They will seal, but not if there is moisture between the layers, an often-unavoidable situation. After struggling with a new batch of these bags, I finally gave up and bought FoodSaver bags at the grocery store. They worked much better, although moisture was still a problem.----------My FoodSaver bags worked fine but I ran out with two batches of beans left to freeze. Using VacSeal bags, those last two bags took fifteen minutes and multiple tries to close and I never got a decent seal on either one. I even tried using a propane torch. Hint: not a good idea :) The quilted portion on FoodSaver bags feels more substantial and has a different pattern. Also, my sealing machine is failing and it may be that the brand name bags adapt better to this.

Can't seem to get these to seal correctly, despite other brands working just fine. I recommend sticking with food saver.

I purchased these bags to go with my new Seal-a-meal and today tried them out on broccoli. First I tried the bags that came with the Seal-a-meal and they worked fine. Then I tried the FoodVacBags. They simply would not seal if there was ANY presence of moisture. I would get a 98% seal and then there was a leak. I then decided to just immediately re-seal the edge in another spot without the vacuum and that worked but I am disappointed. The specs say that they can be used with counter top type sealers.On the good side... they are heavy and seem like a good value but they are making work for me. Hope you have better luck.

These work but the plastic is a little bit thinner than normal which could affect the vacuum process - it could be the texture - but I couldn't get a strong vacuum and sometimes it just wouldn't even try to take the air out. I will likely pay the higher price for the FoodSaver bags or SealAMeal bags. I have 95% success with the name brand product.

too hard to seal the pouch bag

Bags came loose, not in original box as before. They did not hold seal. They won't hold seal. All sealed bags popped and filled with air. not great. Very disappointing.

Worst pos ever made. Doesn't work. Sending back for a full refund I hope!!!!

I hate my Food Saver and wish I'd never bought it. Everything I've ever bagged has just as many ice crystals in it as if using regular freezer bags.

They don't seal as well as the rolls. Sometimes leaving air still in it before it is done. Rolls are definitely recommended for better usage and sealing .

These bags are too thin, that is the surface gap where the air is removed by the vacuum is insufficient. These bags do not work well with the FoodSaver GameSaver Deluxe.

These bags smelled like perfume!! Like someone sprayed Febreez on them. They made me sick just being in the house. I tried airing them outside with no luck. I've had these bags before without this problem. I super disappointed because I can't use them...no idea whatvtoxins are on them.

Cannot give this a good review only because I received Pint Sized bags instead of Quart Sized! I did not realize the error until I opened the package and started using on a meat order I picked up a few days after receiving bags!

Only one side is 0.4mil. The other size is thinner than the ziplock freezer bags.

Bad design of air channels, doesn't completely remove air. I have no problem with the original Foodsaver bags but after using these pockets of air remain around the steaks. Absolute waste of money.

We purchased the 8x12" and out of 10 bags only 2 worked like they should, the other 8 had to be re inserted multiple times to get it to work, they would not vac properly, the bags seemed a bit curled on the ends, I did finally get them to work but had to restart the machine multiple for each bag. I did send reminder of the bags back because I am not going to fight with these bags for the few dollars that I thought I saved. Amazon was awesome with the return of the bags, still waiting for the refund.

About 8 bags out of 50 wouldn't vacuum the air out. It turns out there was small holes in the bags. I verified that by putting the sealed defective bags under water. Bubbles rose to the surface indicating there were holes. For the functional bags there were frequently air pockets around food. That led to partial freezer burn. I am going back to Foodsaver bags.
