Works as needed.....
July 31, 2017
For the price, this is great. It is easy to put on, stays on in high wind storms, and helps protect the spare from the brutal Arizona sun. The last one (just like this) lasted three years, which is not bad for the temperature extremes found here. Happy, and will buy again if we still have the same old trailer in another three years.
White is nice and much cooler to the touch

Looks to be of good quality. Easy to install given you order the correct size. I'm using mine on a enclosed trailer 15" spare tire and it fits perfect.
Nice product

Worked perfect. Nice quality for the money.
Great travel trailer spare tire cover for around $20
October 17, 2016
Great travel trailer spare tire cover for around $20. No matter which brand you buy, if it's exposed to direct sunlight, you'll need a new one of these every 12-18 months. My last one was the ADCO. For similar money, the CAMCO is better quality. But their marketing photos are horrible. My measurements were between two sizes, and I'm glad I chose the smaller one. I don't care about covering the back of the tire next to the trailer. I care about how it looks on the RV. The black band on the smaller cover I ordered is below the top of the tire along the tread corner. The cover still had ample stretch to cover the top of tire, but didn't have that dimpled look shown in the photos. By the time we reached the campsite, it had warmed to take out the wrinkles, fit snug to the tire and looked great.
Great Tire Cover! Great Price!
April 13, 2016
Much better then stock picture left me thinking. From the stock picture I expected a vinyl piece of junk but it was much better then expected!!! My other cover from a different company, dry rotted after 4 years or so, hoping this one lasts about as long if not longer. It fits nice and snug. I do not see how it would fit a tire that is 25.5 inches though my tire is 24.5 inches and it almost was too small for that. Buy a size larger then you need, they are not true to size. The tire cover is on my camper spare. I love it!! Don't know if there is much else to say it is vinyl on the outside and white felt on the inside it is easy to put on and take off and protects the tire from dirt and sun damage. Also looks good on the tire. This is a good quality, well made product. No cheesy seams to break like others I was warned about. The size is generous and the vinyl is extremely water repellant and heavy weight. Elastic at the bottom, and the price was right!
Nice tire cover
May 26, 2014
This is a good fitting and nice looking tire cover. It feels similar to another I have on a fifth-wheel and like it should last for several years. There is an opening at the bottom for drainage unlike mentioned by another reviewer. As long as you get the size of your tire correct, you should be pleased.

Great product and great price!!
September 17, 2017
I live in a VERY HOT and VERY WINDY area in the Socal desert.I mention this to let you folks know that these covers are in a VERY harsh environment.I bought my first set of these for my 4X4 Ford van that is covered much of the time with a custom tarp...it is in full sun and wind. These covers (The first set) are now over three years old and still work just fine.I was expecting to replace them every year as I have to do with the tarp/cover for the van,but I am stoked to say they are fully functional. Even the straps have held up ! I just purchased a second set for my Tacoma that stays in a carport but gets some sun exposure at certain times of the year.I expect many years of use from these as well. I don't write many reviews but had to share what a GREAT product these are... and GREAT price! Thanks.
Snug and custom fit for our travel trailer tires
July 25, 2015
The material is supple but sturdy. It fits the tires of our travel trailer snugly and perfectly. Also like the attached adjustable strap that allows you to further tighten the cover around the tire. Feeling that this product will be able to protect our tires well from the intense rays that we get here in So Cal. Happy with the purchase.Update: It's now August 2017. Even after two years of continuous use with constant exposure to the sun and elements, the covers are as supple as the first day. It has definitely been a tire saver. I continue to be very pleased with this product.
Great Tire Covers
May 28, 2015
My fifth wheel has LT235/85R16 tires so I bought the 30"-32" Diameter size. The covers appear to be of very high quality and quite durable. They do come with a securing strap to wrap around the lower, back portion of the tire. However, I felt that they fit perfectly and snugly enough that I did not bother to connect the strap. Of course, you have to get down on your knees and drape the cover over the top of your tire and then pull it down. In my case, I don’t have a lot of clearance between the tires and fender trim, but I found them to be very easy to install. Time of course will tell the whole truth but at this point, I am very happy with them and am confident they should help protect my tires from the damaging UV rays, which was my primary reason for buying them.
Functional Tire Covers at a great price
November 18, 2012
Just received 3 sets of two for 27-29" wheels for a triple axle boat trailer - i measured my tire diameter at about 26.5" so these fit very well - used the strap to hold them in place - worked just fine - straps are low to the ground so they will be in all the rain, ice snow my driveway experiences :) - I looked around and found the price at Amazon was among the best I could find - seems to be good thick vinyl with cloth on inside so it looks like they will last - time will tell. Just bought 6 new trailer tires to replace previous ones that were aged and damaged by the sun despite only putting about 150 miles a year on them so I want to protect these new tires into the future. Here is a slideshow of the tire covers on my prestige triple axle boat trailer

Judging from a couple of other reviews on Amazon, I was a little concerned that the 24" - 26" size Camco Wheel & Tire Protectors might be too small for my 26" diameter trailer tires. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these protectors fit perfectly! The elastic pocket at the top fits snugly over the top of the tires, and the bottom of the protector reaches just to the ground.A few points of note:- These items cost about 1/3 as much as the equivalent items sold by Camping World under a different brand name, but they seem to be at least as well made as the more expensive brand.- I previously owned the wheel & tire protectors that Camping World sells, so I can say from experience that the strap/buckle arrangement on these Camco protectors is much easier to use than the strange elastic cord thing on "brand X" from Camping World.- I really don't see a good way to install these without laying on the ground to reach the strap behind the tire, so be prepared with a garbage bag or something else to lay on. The same was true of the Camping World protectors.)Now I will see how they make it through the winter.Update: I have now been using these tire protectors through three winters, and they are still in good shape.Update again: Four winters now and these tire covers are still in good shape!
Good quality tire covers
September 9, 2011
These tire covers are much better than I expected for the price. The value of product for the money is outstanding. Order them, you wont be disappointed. Also, I appreciate the strap that goes around the bottom of the tire and the bungee type matieral on top. Both attributes creates a snug fit so the tire covers wont blow off in the crazy wind we always have.

Appears to be well made and high quality.
June 12, 2017
I needed a high quality spare tire cover that I mounted on a roof rack to give me more room in the rear of my Chrysler Caravan mini-van with a lowered floor and ramp for wheelchair users. Since the spare tire could not be put under the rear of the van it used up 2/3rds of the cargo space and since the door opens upward the spare can't be mounted on the door. I have had other covers that only lasted about 2 years in the Florida sun so hopefully this will last much longer.
Good spare tire cover for the price.
June 3, 2017
Very good item for the low price, although I don't know how long it might last. Our old one (which we replaced with this new purchase) was about 12 years old and was badly disintegrating, resulting in my order of this replacement. It looks very good, but I don't know what the lifespan might be.
Good value for the money
June 22, 2016
The 24-26" covers fit the 24" spare tire (ST185/80R13) on my Coachmen Clipper 17BH. It is definitely just a vinyl cover, but it feels perfectly sturdy. These will break down over time just from the elements, and they will probably break down faster than higher-end ones will. But, it is better the cover than my tiresI plan on upgrading RVs in a year or two, so these fit the bill. For smaller campers, the tires are just not that expensive compared to the price of nicer covers, so these are a nice add-on to give me 6-7 years instead of 3-4 years out of a tire. If you have higher dollar tires, you probably want a higher-end option.
Good quality, good price.
June 6, 2015
Fits very well. Thick, good quality construction at a very reasonable price. It's lasted through two rough winters and a very wet spring so far without any noticeable cracking or other wear. A simple and inexpensive way to sharpen up the image of your vehicle!Update: Well after about 2 years of service this cover started cracking and getting holes. Not bad. Unfortunately the felt-like lining turned out to be an algae magnet after a particularly heavy rainfall a few months ago, and the cover turned into a slimy mess with no hope of being cleaned. I had to toss it out. Given its cracking I don't think it would have lasted another year anyway. So with this experience I still say it's a decent product, but I've removed one star because it doesn't seem to last all that long for the price, and because if you are in a humid or wet climate the felt lining will prove to be a very bad idea.
UTILITARIAN COVER.
February 13, 2015
THIS IS A REPLACEMENT FOR MY UTILITY TRAILER SPARE COVER. I GAVE THIS PRODUCT ONLY 4 STARS BECAUSE OF THE FOLLOWING: 1) FIT, I MEASURED THE TIRE AS SUGGESTED ON THE CAMCO SIZE CHART AND PURCHASED ACCORDINGLY. NOT COMPLETE COVERAGE. 2) UTILITY, THE COVER HAS ELASTIC BUNGEE IN BACK BUT NO DRAWCHORD TO ASSURE IT STAYS ON DURING TRAILERING. GRANTED, THIS WAS NOT MOST EXPENSIVE COVER BUT THESE ARE BASIC FEATURES. MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP APPEAR GOOD. TIME WILL TELL IF THE COVER HAS "STAYING POWER".
Good temporary cover
March 21, 2014
My white tire cover was stolen off my SUV, it's very expensive to replace the original tire cover and since my model doesn't come with a lock option (thanks a lot Toyota!) the chances of my new replacement factory cover being stolen are high.I decided to look for a vinyl cover for now, White vinyl covers are VERY HARD TO FIND! I've had this longer than I thought since my original intention was to sell my car, but I still have it.What I've noticed is from a distance, it blends in with my car very well and you don't even notice it's not part of the original car, but closer up it's obvious, especially with the thin black stripe that circles around it. Regardless, it's sturdy and is an extremely affordable emergency cover option. Needless to say no thieves are interested in this $13 cover vs the $500 original. I get so sad when I see other SUV's driving around with a missing tire cover, it's clear it was stolen, looks Horrible. This is the LAST SUV I will buy with a vulnerable cover, I really prefer the tire to be hidden anyway. My only complaint is that it does turn yellow on the top where the sun hits it, but I have an outdoor parking spot in sunny California so your experience may be very different if you park in a garage or live in Washington etc. I have to replace this yearly so far, but I still think it's a great value and really helped me out during a tough time.

Fit Snug
September 20, 2017
These fit our trailer wheels but they are a bit on the snug side. If you need room for air to circulate, you should buy one size up. We measured and figured we'd have room - we don't. They work fine however for the price

These will break down over time just from the elements, and they will probably break down faster than higher-end ones will. FINISH Water Softener Salt product is VERY HARD TO FIND........

I never had a Dishwasher before that required/recommended using Finish Water Softener Salt....... With the type of dishwasher I purchased, I wanted to do everything that the instructions recommended, so that I would get the best results for all my dishes, silverware, etc.The only complaint I have is: this Finish Dishwasher Water Softener Salt is very hard to find locally!! FINISH needs to make this product more accessible to the public in larger business establishments.........LOCALLY!

May 16, 2016
My tires were ~25" in diameter so I ordered these. They fit tight and left the bottom 1" of the tire exposed. There are comments where people have posted of the size chart from the box... wish I would have caught that before placing the order, or done a little more research. It would be nice the size chart or a shortcut to it was posted with the item description. That being said, the cost of these were low enough and the quality appears to be good so when the ones I bought wear out, I'll replace them with the bigger size.
White: Good protection but yellow discoloration. Is black as good or better?
October 3, 2015
I've gone through several sets of similar tire protectors in the last 30 years, and the white ones, including these (which work just fine), all have the same problem. They discolor to a brownish yellow where they are in contact with the tire, especially with new tires. Black ones solve the appearance problem, if that's important to you, but do they protect as well? Most peoples' instinct says that white reflects more light and therefore affords more protection, but what really deteriorates tires is UV radiation. There is no clear-cut relationship between visible light protection (i.e. black and white) and UV transmission. UV transmission depends on the nature of the material more than anything else. And then there is the temperature argument. Certainly a black T-shirt is warmer on a sunny day that a white one, but is this a significant factor in tire protection, giving that tires in use probably get a lot warmer? If I were still a practicing research chemist, I would be tempted to apply for a great to study these factors. However, I'm retired and spend my time golfing, RVing and zero-tasking instead of researching. So buy the black ones or the white ones and replace them every 2-4 years. Your tires will last longer in either case.
Looks Good for a Reasonable Price
April 4, 2014
I replaced four older tire protectors on our RV that we leave I Florida year around. The sun and heat are pretty rough there, so things age more rapidly . The ones I replaces were 2 years old and might have lasted another year. I measured the diameter of our tires and they were 29 inches across. I debated ordering the next larger size, but the right size looks better and are actually easier to put on than "oversize" ones. We ordered the size Camco said would fit 27-29 and they did fit! They were easy to put on and look good! I hope these will last 3 years in Florida. The material looks like it might be a little better than the one's I replaced. The tan or beige color is a very light shade and looks good on our RV which has tan fender skirts. If these do last three years or more, I will wish I had given them 5 stars.

Standard product. Nothing special to note about it.
May 29, 2016
Shipped quick, easy to install. About 2 years old now, has retained its white color mostly, but it holds water, and gets a bit moldy inside. They could have added some mesh sections around the perimeter to let air in, water out, but that would require thought and I don't expect very much of that from this company.
another brand may be better materials used and probably costs more
April 30, 2016
I bought this same cover (Camco) twice, about a year apart. First one had some cracks/slits on top after one year and I had to remove it to use the tire as a spare. Really destroyed cover by simply removing it. But, it was a cheap cover. Now, second one it has first slit on top after 14 or 15 months and it cost a little more. So, another brand may be better materials used and probably costs more. But I will just continue to buy this one.
Nice, for the money.
October 2, 2013
Nice for the cost I paid, could be a little thicker when compared to the VERY old one I took off that was finally starting to deteriorate. I'm guessing my old one was much more expensive, but it was on my RV when I bought it. The cord pulled through as I was putting it on the spare tire, so I had to pull it back off, feed the cord back through and secure it. It wasn't stitched very well. I tied it off to the other end, so I don't think I'll have any more issues. Bottom line is it's decent for the money.
Poor qualaity workmanship makes me unsure about recommending you purchase this item.
May 31, 2013
One of the three was made wrong, The elastic was actually sewn into the seam, and protruding out of the "channel" it was supposed to be encased in. When my husband put it on the tire, the elastic "snapped". I was able to repair the cover by cutting the elastic free of the stitching and re-threading it through the channel. I then tied it into a square knot to keep it from retreating out of the channel again. Plain and simple, poor quality control. The mistake was clearly visible and should have been caught at the factory. Not sure I'd buy this again. The reason I gave it an ok is because it seems like the materials and fit were good, just the construction was not.

Not bad for the price
November 29, 2013
Bought four sets for a flatbed trailer and a horse trailer that sit in the AZ sun all day. They are the soft, flexible vinyl you see in a lot of covers nowadays... Not the best, but not bad for the price. What I did like was that the edge that goes behind the wheel has elastic sewn in so it "hugs" the wheel. This worked great when the winds and rains picked up during the AZ monsoon season.I immediately installed them on the trailers as the summer sun was starting to get brutal. They made it through one summer without tearing or cracking. Nice!! BUT, one of the clips broke the first time it was unclipped to use the trailer. This happened a couple weeks ago. The clips are not exposed to the sun as they are designed to clip behind the tire, under the trailer. We did get A LOT of rain this monsoon season so constant water and dirt may have played a part in the plastic breaking. Who knows. In the end, the built in elastic still holds the cover on the wheel, even during the fall winds and storms we are now getting. Will they hold up through the winter? Time will tell.
Just add 2 more inches
October 9, 2012
The diameter of this cover is spot on. However the bottom is cut about 2-3 inches short, letting the sun hit the rubber at the bottom of your tire. Buying one of the next larger size might help. The picture shows the cover going down to the ground(and if you were parked in the grass it might just meet the grass as pictured). The quality seems good for the money. Would have been 5 stars if the bottom went down a few more inches.

Cracks!
October 10, 2016
Worked well in the beginning but ended up cracking the year after we bought this. We installed it on the spare tire and never took it off again so it's not like it was handled too much before it cracked. It just appears that the vinyl isn't the greatest and cracked from exposure to the sun. Since this tire cover is designed for this application I would have expected it to last much longer than one season.
Two years or less, then replace
October 2, 2016
Purchased this 2 years ago. Now all yellowed on top from sun. It's not, as others have said, due to the black tire bleeding through, because the yellow is only on the top and one side that gets the most sun. The yellowing became noticeable a few months ago, so it didn't even last 2 years.
Expect to buy another in less than 2 yrs
April 28, 2015
Bought this October of 2013 for my trailer. Now in April 2015 it is tattered and disintegrating. It was a great fit for the full size spare but has not held up to sun and time as I thought it should.
Made it a little over one year and then expired.
June 24, 2014
I've bought other Camco products and been very satisfied but this one became brittle and fell apart in just over one year of sitting on the back of my trailer. I purchased a set of Camco 45321 covers for the tires that touch the ground and those are still in great shape with supple vinyl and by all accounts should last a few more years. I'm not sure what the difference really was but it appears that a different kind of vinyl was used that just couldn't hold up to the UV like the 45321 covers I own. Fitment was good and I'm going to try one in Arctic White to match the covers that seem to be lasting and hopefully the new one will perform better.
Might last a year!
October 22, 2013
I do not recommend this product to anyone. The cover fit perfectly, but the material turned real hard and is now cracking. I have never removed it since I put it on, but when the time comes when I have to it will fall apart. I went to touch the cover in other areas and it cracks all around. Looks good right out of the box, but breaks down after a year outdoors.
Camco 45350 34" Tire Cover
June 26, 2011
Bought to use on trailer spare tire being carried in pickup bed, seems to be decent quality material and workmanship. Large enough to fit Maxxis ST235/80R-16E1 which is close to 32" diameter. One of the few in white (Texas heat/sun, don't want dark color) this large. I'll be back to let you know how it holds up.Update: Lasted little more than one season, came apart at the seams and had to be tossed into garbage. Was mounted on tire laying flat in truck bed, so exposed to direct sunlight and buffeting from wind.

Very disappointed. Cracked in 2 months.
September 25, 2017
Originally I thought I'd be leaving a positive review but, sadly, this Camco spare tire cover failed 2 months and 1 trip after purchase. It looked good, fit well, and remained secure during a 200 mile trip. The cover and tire were stored in my garage for several weeks while I was painting my trailer. When it was time to mount them back on the trailer I noticed the vinyl had several small cracks that will surely grow to big cracks. Unfortunately, it's past the return window so my trailer with a fresh paint job will have a spare tire cover with trashy looking duct tape patches... yay.

As others have said, UV protection should be a minimum requirement for something to protect from UV rays!!Though mine did last almost two years, I expected more! I'm not sure what amount of time would be enough to live up to my expectations, but I'd think I could live with 5 years and be OK to replace them at that point!?
Affordable protection for your RV tires! (*update: broke after 2 & 1/2 months)!!!
September 14, 2013
Vinyl is lined with fleece-like material; entire sleeve is very pliable (just warm it up before putting them on). Straps are canvass cord with plastic buckles. Highly recommended.*Update 10/27/2013: barely had these 2 & 1/2 months (purchased August 7, 2013) and one of the plastic buckle clips have broken. I put them on once for about 1 & 1/2 months, removed them for a month to camp, and just went to put them back on. The clip on one of them just fell apart in my hands. Very cheap - DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
