Five Star Reviews: | 64% Great buy June 24, 2017 Easy to put on and looks great. Fits perfectly. I only wish these were available in a wider range of designs. Fits 205/75D15 Spare Tires No Problem March 7, 2015 Fit really well on my 205/75D15 spare tire for my travel trailer. Could probably fit a tire just a little bit larger, too. Feels like a good, quality product, stretched well when I needed it to, and pulled tight when I was done. Looks great. Good deal. 'Merica! A new twist on Old Glory - perfect for my car. August 20, 2014 I have an older model Honda CRV where the spare is a full sized tire attached to the back tailgate door. This fits that tire perfectly, with room to spare. To tighten the cover, there is an elasticized cord with one of those hard plastic knobs that you can push together to slide the cord tighter, then release the pressure on the knob for it to hold the cord at that place (hope that makes sense - don't know the exact name of the plastic dohickey button/knob). I LOVE the flag on the cover - the blue nearly matches my car color! Looks a lot sharper than the original 'Honda' cover. Good price, too, at around $20. Wanted to get a Steeler cover, but they ran around $50. Too rich for my pocket book. Ok Quality, Messy Fit February 21, 2014 Update March 2015:I'm back for another, no fault of the cover. While parked away from my home neighborhood, my car was vandalized. This cover got the worst of it, slashed beyond repair, but still securely fastened around the tire. (If only I could get the leftover egg goo out of the licence plate housing...)The past year of continued durability and good performance has convinced me to come back for the same cover. I've gotten compliments on the flag design, and can finally identify my car from the other look-alikes in our local parking lots. More importantly, the spare is protected. There's something very special about flying our colors. It may be just a vinyl tire cover in the end, but seeing the flag proudly posted makes me smile every time.**************************************************I needed to replace my OEM CR-V tire cover which was disintegrating after 13 years of use. The price was definitely right, and the reviews seemed reasonable.Unfortunately, when I took it out of the box, it was wrinkled terribly. Since I installed it in January in Maryland (and what a January it was!), it has stayed wrinkled for a month now, even with some temperate days and direct sunlight thrown in. The decal printing had smeared a bit (as though it had been folded before dry), but wasn't worth returning. The way that it installs is awkward, but only because the decal needs to be placed specifically (so the flag flies from left to right) - there is plenty of excess capacity to surround larger tires, but the line used to cinch it tight ties at the bottom of the tire. This is a very difficult area to reach, much less tug on the cover and pull tight. Performing everything at once, with only two hands and a tire support in the middle is a feat of magic (mine was not graceful whatsoever). It is not top of the line, but does the trick for protecting the tire from sunlight and everything else beltway traffic throws at it. If you want something truly decorative and/or heavy duty, I'd look elsewhere. It does the trick for me, until I find the perfect cover at a perfect price... | 59% Fits great on my 2000 Vitara. August 10, 2017 Fits really well on my spare. Since it was a little bigger than the stock cover, I was able to slip this one on over the stock cover for a great snug fit. It took less than 5 minutes to put on and looks great. Good quality light weight material. Great but long delivery time July 30, 2017 Works great as one other reviewer NOTED I changed out the paracord to thicker stronger one so doesn't blow off tire while traveling. Thing will have to rip Before it ever just blows off. Only complaint took for ever to arrive I believe it came directly from Korea or China Absolutely awesome!! Priced right July 28, 2017 Absolutely awesome!! Priced right, fit my 15" tires perfectly, and the color I wanted. I cut 13 1/2" out of the bottom, hemmed them up, cut the elastic and installed s hooks and use them to cover camper wheels when it is not in use. They cover to the bottom. And they will not blow off. If I park on plastic pads or a board ext time will make it better. Great product. And the shipping was fast. Excellent value, Great item to have. Will last for a good while. July 10, 2017 There is some really expensive Jeep spare tire covers out there, but I wanted to continue in the all black theme with my jeep accessories and this works fine for me. It has stayed on tight since I put it on with no issues and make the spare tire look so much better covered up and protected. I couldn't beat the price Amazon had the time of the purchase. |
Four Star Reviews: | 19% Get what you pay for. April 28, 2017 We put the tire cover on, very tight however it barely lasted one trip :( American Flag Spare Tire Cover October 28, 2016 One size fits all, there is an adjustment cord on the back so you can pull in any slack you may have. The graphics are nice and the material appears to be high quality. Not bad for $20 bucks March 21, 2016 Concerned about sizing and fit on the tire? This was put on a 2016 Jeep Willy edition - those tires are knobby and big. Now it took some work to get it on but if you position it right - it will go on. Cheap material? Of course - but it's 20 bucks - you get what you pay for - and in this Arizona heat - it's better to get cheap than pay $60 to 70 dollars for one that will have to be replaced in a year anyway. That said, the material is sturdy and did not tear or even fray when we pulled it - and we pulled it hard - to get it on the tire. I think overall - it's a good cover - looks very nice - and if it doesn't hold up longer than a year - well - nothing does in in Arizona heat - but if it doesn't - it's worth the money and it serves it's purpose while looking very nice! Graphics looked good and seems to be well made October 12, 2015 Graphics looked good and seems to be well made. Bungee cord is strong enough to keep it on my spare tire without blowing away. Will see how it holds up to an entire summer in the sun next year. American Flag Tire Cover - great buy for the price August 13, 2011 Fits nice and snug, but not at all skimpy. I suspect previous posters who had difficulty putting it on were trying in cooler weather. A summer evening in NJ - it went on quite easily - a bit of shifting and adjusting and it looks every bit as good as, if not better than, the picture on Amazon. Fit my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sport (2 dr) standard Wrangler tire and looks great - dresses up the back with a little pizzazz. Excellent value for the low price. | 14% Good for Price August 22, 2017 This is the second one i ordered,,fits very good but i lost the first one on the highway when it blew off,,secured this one properly it was so much better then I expected July 7, 2017 I was really surprised at the quality, it was so much better then I expected. It looked like something you would probably pay around $30 or more for it. It fit perfectly on my 17 inch Jeep tire. I never had a problem with it but one day I was driving on the expressway and it was extra windy and the wind had got up under it and it flew off unfortunately. I was so sad but I'm buying another one to replace it because I liked it so much. I'm just going to replace the string with something that I can tighten and tie in a knot so it won't come loose again. I was very pleased with it! Hope this helps! :) |
Three Star Reviews: | 10% good cheap cover March 27, 2017 good cheap cover, It does not pull tight as the pic. but for the money I can replace it if it does not last too long as the sun is hard on everything in AZ. It worked for my parades to cover the trailer tire ... April 18, 2015 It worked for my parades to cover the trailer tire. I would not use as a full time cover if the trailer is outside all the time. I do not think it will last more than a year in those conditions. maybe 5 star November 16, 2014 seems ok. only been on one day. it attaches very easily and securely. looks just like the photo. probably should wait for couple weeks, then it might be a 5 star. ok for $20 tho. Looks good - but mine didn't last June 17, 2013 Needed a new spare tire cover for the trailer and thought this would be a good fit. Seems to be a universal design with a cinch cable to tighten around the tire. First trip out (after it was very tight) the product became loose. I retighten and readjusted but the next trip out a tear was starting....and you know what happens then.... the small tear turns into a large one. The design (flag) is great, I just was hoping for a little better quality. | 7% Description could have been better. 18 " reflects rim size and not over ... September 2, 2017 Description could have been better. 18 " reflects rim size and not over all. It is now a grill pit cover. Okay for the price. Works, but is nothing ... August 11, 2016 Okay for the price. Works, but is nothing fancy. Great cover on a budget. July 20, 2016 Did the job of covering my spare. I had to air the cover out for a week, had a strong chemical odor. Every time Ill open my trunk it stank. Would recommend. Not bad; I guess you get what you pay for June 21, 2015 Not bad; I guess you get what you pay for. It is serviceable and it fits. It is reasonably priced. The sewing quality was horrible. Threads hanging does not look like it will ... November 13, 2014 Sorry to say was not at all as expected. The sewing quality was horrible. Threads hanging does not look like it will even make it to be tightened onto tire. Would not even try to use it. Was a present which will not be given. |
Two Star Reviews: | 4% Not what I expected May 15, 2014 From the reviews I thought what a deal. Yeah Right! Live and learn. Will be replacing this sooner than later. No happy March 31, 2014 Product fell apart within 3 months of using on my trailer. I later purchased a more expensive cover from Amazon that has lasted two years with no visible change. Thus the adage you get what you pay for huh? Did not like product February 3, 2013 This product did not fit 2013 Rubicon Jeep Spare Tire. I also found that the cover was poorly crafted and made of very thin vinyl. Overall, the product did not meet my expectations. Imperfect delivery, imperfect quality. May 15, 2012 Highly anticipated a tire cover to fit my Tracker to make my patriotic statement known. However, when the box arrived, the condition of the packaging looked as if it had been run over by a train. We'll never know if UPS or Amazon's distributor is to blame, but someone certainly didn't show my purchase any respect. Secondly, once I opened the item, I noticed the interior cloth was dirty, as if it had been dropped in a dusty warehouse and stepped on. More distiburbing was the fact that the logo print was 'cut' with a minor blemish, probably from the crushing at the warehouse? As I wrapped my tire with the cover, the elasticity of the draw-string with the slide-lock was of poor quality as the lock couldn't hold the position I set to wrap my tire tight. It kept slipping and I had to stuff it under the flaps to keep it secure. A great image on Amazon but the reality is that I guess I got what I paid for: a cheap shell of vinyl stitched with a weak elastic cord the size of a shoestring with a low-quality placement lock. Very disappointing. | 5% Severe UV fading in 4 months June 9, 2017 Very disappointed. After having this tire cover installed for only 4 months, the black color is significantly fading to gray. While there's no sign of ripping yet, the extremely quick fading from sun / UV exposure does not inspire any confidence that the UV will not completely break down this fabric in short order. You could die from the smell! December 6, 2014 Package looked like it was nibbled on, had some holes in it. The smell is deadly!!!! Such a horrible smell!!! Looks like a nice cover but the smell is extremely overwhelming!! Also has some sort of paint line going across on the inside? Idk if i would buy again |
One Star Reviews: | 3% Doesn't fit a 31" tire April 22, 2014 Purchased this item for a 31" diameter spare tire. It wouldn't fit, no way. I measured it and it is only 28" in diameter. You can't stretch it 3" to make it fit. Returned the product. Small January 3, 2014 It does not fit a standard 16" trailer spare. It ripped when i tried to install and will be fun to see how much trouble to return. does not come close to fitting my 30 inch tire February 2, 2012 Does not fit anything over 28 inches, and to be safe, only try this if your tire is under 28 inches in diameter as the diameter of the flagged face is only 28 inches seam to seam. Don't waste your time and money if your tire is larger than 28 inches. Started tearing badly at the seam when I gently tried to stretched it over my tire. When I picked up the box containing the cover it felt empty but the cover was inside-very very light weight material, extremely thin. If your tire isn't less than 28 inches, it will tear. Even if your tire is 28 inches or smaller, Don't expect this to last repeated removal and replacement for checking your spare tire pressure. My spare tire is 265/70R16 measuring 30 inches in diameter, and this cover is so far from fitting, not even close to fitting, its just false advertising. Stick with ADCO December 28, 2006 This is a "one size fits all" type item, but it doesn't fit "all". Says it goes up to 31" tire size, but it doesn't. We have an SUV with tires that fit within the stated size description, but it ripped at the expansion seam while we were attempting to shoehorn it on. Also, I was disappointed with the quality of the fabric. It is a cheaper feel and thickness than ADCO covers and ripped very easily while we were struggling with it. So bag this manufacturer's products and stick with ADCO. Also, I bought it in Sept as Christmas present (I like to start early!), so now I will be screwed for getting any kind of a refund as its outside the 30 day limit. | 15% Not worth the money.. August 28, 2017 Very cheap, Elastic and material already starting to fall apart after 3 months. I guess I get what I pay for. Our refund was processed pretty reasonably, would simply suggest investing a little more ... March 4, 2016 Tore when attempting to install. Our refund was processed pretty reasonably, would simply suggest investing a little more in something a little higher quality Poor stitched tire cover November 17, 2015 Need to replace the tire cover after two days on the spare tire the stitching is all pulling apart can someone contact me so I can get a replacement 1(631)220-4959 poor cover November 7, 2015 Very poor quality. Started ripping before I even had it on the tire. I says it fits 17 inch. Its now in the trash. I chalked it up as a total waist of money. Highly disappointed. Only reason it got one star is because ... June 14, 2015 Junk. This cover might fit a 15", but will not fit a 17". Ripped it trying to make it fit. Highly disappointed. Only reason it got one star is because there is no category for a half star. |
