| Eat more chickenMarch 24, 2017 I keep trying to get my dogs more expensive/higher rated dog foods but something about this product makes one dog keep coming back. She absolutely loves the chicken flavor, followed by the beef, followed by literally every other dog food brand out there. The quality has been pretty consistent since we've been buying it which is a plus. My dog highly recommends! My dog's all smiles!February 22, 2017 My 3 dogs love this food! Today, I took the youngest, age 3 (pit mix), to the Vet for a checkup, and he asked what food we feed her. He said she has the best teeth he has ever seen on a dog her age, perfect condition! I have a 17 year old Chihuahua that loves the small sized Pro Plan food. Maybe it costs a little more than other brands/types of dog food, but it is worth every penny! Our dog loves it!January 2, 2017 Our 14-year-old dog suddenly stopped eating Science Diet, so we tried Pro Plan Savor with Shredded Chicken. She loves it. The medium-sized kibble is easy for her to chew, and she really goes after the shredded chicken. We recommend this food. Our vet considers it a close second to Science Diet. Made sure she was full blooded with the proper paperwork and everything! When you think about purchasing a pet. You're committing yourself to having this companion as your best friend at home for hopefully 10 years plus! And if you decided to get a pet friend, don't you think you would want to make sure she is happy and healthy throughout her life as well? Well ever since I've started my Doberman on this brand, She runs to the bowl which means she absolutely loves it! And I do feel that this product is keeping her very healthy and lean muscle! And now my new guest to the house is a stray Cat and knowing how well its doing for my dobie, I had to have it for my new kitten! He's on the Focus currently until he ages a little more of course. But he has nothing but joyful fun around the house. Literally can't wait to get his hands on it and stuff his face lol Damn wizard somehow opened my cabinet and nip picked at the bag until he realized that these Purina packaging is top notch. He still has his front claws and and he couldn't tear it thank god! But I would suggest this product to anyone as it has only brought me more joy knowing my pets have well nutrition and happy life styles. And absolutely love eating it! I loved this food for my 3 dogs...also use the puppy food with the same outcome review. Ugh! Been buying it for many months now...not anymore and especially since the price has increased by 5 to 9 dollars! At the very least take a look at the link. I'm very disappointed I didn't research sooner! Shame on me! Dogs eat the salmon variety, but avoid this (chicken) type.April 16, 2015 I've ordered the salmon ("for sensitive stomachs") variety of this brand and my dogs eat it without problems. I figured they'd eventually want to try something new and got this kind (shredded chicken.) They don't eat it. I put wet food on top and they eat the wet part and leave this dry food untouched. I mix it with other things, and they just pick out the "other" stuff, eat that and leave this. If it's mixed thoroughly so they can't separate it, they don't eat any of it. I don't see anything particularly objectionable about it. I don't know ~why~ they don't eat it, since they love regular chicken, when I bake that for them. I only know it doesn't get eaten. I've got most of a bag that will either get thrown out, given to a friend with a less picky dog or left out for the birds, if they'll eat it. | | | |

| Making my boy sickAugust 31, 2017 We've been buying this for our boy for quite a while. The last bag I bought made him extremely sick. Two days after opening it he was vomiting almost immediately and had diarrhea. I stopped feeding it to him for a week and decided to try and mix some in with chicken and rice, in case it was a fluke. Within a half hour he was puking again. I contacted Purina and they assured me there were no recalls. But something is definitely wrong. Maybe that's what I get for buying pet food online. Just watch your babies! Pantry moths in the most recent deliveryJuly 24, 2017 Have been purchasing this dog food from Amazon for a couple of years now. I have six dogs and buy three bags each month. It was convenient, I thought, not to have to go to a specialty pet store for the food.
At least one bag of this last batch was full of pantry moths. I will not purchase it again, as I am familiar with how destructive and invasive pantry moths are.

My husky puppy started losing weight and throwing up with diarrhea. Took him to the vet they did not have any answers it wasnt until the other puppy started throwing up. This did not happen until I opened the bag of chicken flavor. I always have two types of food down. Iams and Pro Plan. I took the Iams away. My older dog would not even eat the chicken flavor Pro Plan but both puppies were throwing up within an hour of eating. We let this go on for 2 days before we made the connection to the dog food.
